Good Boy

Summary:

Jun Wu punishes young Xie Lian.

Notes:

I wrote this, with my therapist's encouragement, to work on processing trauma from childhood abuse, and I'm sharing it in hopes of connecting with other people who struggle with similar things. (General positive interaction is also appreciated, including finding the fic hot!) I made a Twitter - ocdlanwangji - in case you don’t want to comment publicly, or you can email me at [email protected].

This fic is written from the POV of an abuser, so please exercise caution if that might bother you. I also can't edit it right now or double-check that I got all the tags.

Work Text:

Jun Wu strokes Xie Lian’s hair. "Xianle," he says, filling his voice with regret. "You know what I have to do."

He watches dread flicker across his young charge’s face. He watches Xie Lian suppress it. Inwardly, he suppresses his own satisfaction. It wouldn’t do to have Xie Lian think he takes pleasure in this.

"Hands up," he orders. When Xie Lian obeys, he lifts Xie Lian’s robes and tugs his pants down. Gently, he maneuvers him until the small boy is bent over his knees.

Xie Lian doesn’t resist, well-trained as he is. Still, his body is tense and his breaths are rapid.

"Good boy," Jun Wu praises him.

He takes a moment to admire the cute rounded ass on his lap - and then he strikes, without warning.

Xie Lian yelps. His hands jerk - he obviously wants to cover himself - but he stays where he is.

"Good," Jun Wu says again. "Remember, this hurts me more than it hurts you. You’ll remember to be good next time, right? I don’t want to have to punish you again."

He gives another firm smack.

"Y-yes," Xie Lian says. "I’ll be good."

"I’m sure you’ll try," Jun Wu says condescendingly. Smack. Smack. He waits a moment, just to give Xie Lian hope that he might be done, then hits him one more time.

A second passes, then ten, then twenty. Jun Wu watches Xie Lian lie rigid on his lap. Will he speak up, or will he be good?

Disappointingly, he’s good. Xie Lian stays still, not making a sound, for a full minute. His breaths grow quicker and quicker.

"All done," Jun Wu says, and Xie Lian scrambles away, righting his clothes. "Don’t make me do this again."

Xie Lian nods, gives a shaky bow, and stumbles out of the room. Jun Wu watches him go and sighs inwardly.

Time to come up with some new rules.
