    Yelling and intelligible words that always devolved into more screaming.

    They hadn’t stopped in over an hour.

    He was surprised a neighbor hadn’t called the police on them for being so noisy at this point.

    The door had been locked from the outside, so he couldn’t even go downstairs to check on his father.

    His screams sounded so broken, like their source had been locked in the abyss for eons.

    What was wrong with his dad?

    Izuku had just gotten his quirk, and it was the same as his mom's.

    They were so happy at dinner, celebrating Izuku's newfound power.

    So why were they acting like this?

    What did he do wrong?

    AFO Izuku but my spin on it. I got really into AFO Izuku but most of the fics I read lack a certain smth. I want to try and focus on quirk starvation mixed with AFO canon divergence. This isn't a pity story either, dw. Though it'll take a while to set it up that way. Also new schedule for this: 1 chapter a week!

    Love where this is going, but its also very much a slow burn with no romance.
    This was the one with Baku bro being set up to get One for all. Izuku is a secret all for one holder who mains the slime skill. Toga has an unhealthy friendship obsesion. And the one where no villains attacked the UFC and they actually had a normal class.

    Percy was four years old the first time his dreams led him to his many-great-grandmother’s chambers- a woman long dead yet somehow still seated in front of him, fingers grasping at her hair tightly as she wails about a wooden horse on the beach while her servants look on in pity. He feels the weight of something ancient and heavy settle on his shoulders in that moment.

    He was in his 1st grade classroom when his teacher screamed at him for making up lies about gods and monsters and scaring the other children. He was eight when his mother's own visions become too much for her to bear.

    He's at Yancy when Grover Underwood finally finds him and says "I believe you" for the first time. And as Percy begins to feel lighter, that ancient weight that has followed him his whole life slowly dissipating, he realizes that being believed can be just as horrifying as being thought mad.

    Best seer Percy fic hands down. Just super well written, kept my attention, kept the plot fresh.
