Kaveh finally got his design accepted after it being declined for several times already. He went to go find Alhaitham before he found something terrifying awaiting for him…

Chapter 1: Kaveh's Wonderful Life

After a long day of designing, Kaveh gets up to give his customers his designs and was surprised he got them accepted for the first time in a while.

He never got his designs accepted in a long time causing his unholy amounts of stress, insomnia, and depression.

After getting his designs accepted by a kind person, he jogs home happily at the thought of telling Alhaitham his success.

Of course though, Alhaitham had took his keys away as always, but luckily Kaveh was able to break in due to him learning how to lock pick doors now.

As Kaveh flung the door open he was surprised that Alhaitham wasn’t in his usual spot.

He began to search the house for Alhaitham and finally went to the last place he didnt check yet…

The bathroom.

As he flung the door open he stood there in the doorway shocked at what was in front of him.

Water was running in the bathtub and lying there, was a bloody Alhaitham with cuts all over his body. His eyes were shut closed with not a single light behind them.

Kaveh was unsure if Alhaitham was even alive at this point.

Kaveh rushed at Alhaitham’s body checking to see if there was a pulse.

There was no pulse.

With bloody hands he ran to the phone and called medical help crying with tears rushing down his face.

" Alhaitham you’ll live right..? "

Tears were running uncontrollably down his face, he couldn’t handle having Alhaitham die on him now.

Kaveh got an eviction notice and had to leave his house because he couldn’t afford to live there anymore.

As Kaveh packed up his things, he sold the stuff he didn’t need and started getting depressed again.

He had no home, no food, and barely any money.

He had no hope left.

And that’s when he decided to do something.

He was going to commit.

He had enough of this world and decided to pick up his dagger he had with him and slit his throat.

Hmm... the sound of death… It’s lovely isn’t it?

He laid there in the alleyway bleeding to death.

“ At least i can rest peacefully now… " as he shut his eyes closed

The next thing he knew was that he was rushed to the hospital.

“ H-huh? Where am I..?" as Kaveh sat up and looked around.

A hospital? Who got me here?

" You woke up long enough. "

" ! "

Surprised Kaveh looked around and saw Cyno and Tighnari there sitting by him

" Cyno?! Tighnari?!? What are you guys doing here? " Kaveh asked surprisingly.

" Hmm? You're in a hospital if that's what you were worried about.. "

" We saw you bleeding in that alleyway, you could’ve died back there, " Tighnari added on.

Kaveh mumbled, “That’s what I wanted…” as he turned to look at the other side of the room.

“Hows Alhaitham?” Kaveh asked finally after some thoughts.

“He died.”

*sigh

As expected, I knew this would happen. The moment I obtained something I never want lost, I would lose it the moment I obtained it. This is how things always been for me.

When Tighnari and Cyno left the room, Kaveh got up from his hospital bed, limping, and opened the window.

With a smile on his face, he jumped out the window with all his might.

" Goodbye Alhaitham "

*SPLAT*

+Alhaitham’s POV+

“YOU TOLD HIM WHAT?” Alhaitham shouted angrily shooting up from his hospital bed.

“Yeah… we thought you died… sorry dude” Cyno replied back.

Alhaitham ran outside the hospital, bandages flying in the air as he rushed out, and in his shock, he found Kaveh’s deceased body right there in front of him.

Right there and there, he hugged Kaveh’s body so tightly that he had to be pulled away from Kaveh.

Chapter 2: Rewrite!!!

TWs!!!: Ooc, Self harm, Suicide

After a long day of designing, Kaveh tiredly got up to give his customers his designs. When he approached his customers with his designs, he was surprised he got them accepted for the first time in a while. He hadn't gotten his designs accepted in a long time causing some stress to build up.

After getting his designs accepted, he ambered home proud at himself at the thought of telling Al Haitham his success. Of course though, Alhaitham had took his keys away, but luckily, Kaveh was able to break in with his trusty lock-picking skills he had picked up to counter this getting-locked-out-situation.

As Kaveh flung the door open he was a tad bit surprised that Alhaitham wasn’t in his usual spot. He began to search the house for Alhaitham and finally went to the last place he didnt check yet which was the bathroom.

As he opened the door, he stood there in the doorway baffled at what was laid in front of him. Water was running in the bathtub and infront of him was Al Haitham. As Kaveh looked closer, he noticed the blood in the water and the cuts all over his body. Al Haitham's eyes were shut closed with not a single light behind them.

Shocked at this, Kaveh was unsure if Alhaitham was even alive at this point. Kaveh rushed at Alhaitham’s side in a panic to check to see if there was a pulse... To which there was none. With the hands bloodied from Al Haitham's body, he hurried to the phone and called medical help with tears escaping his eyes. Kaveh looked back at the unconscious roommate of his and tearfully muttered, “Al haitham you’ll be alright right..?”

Tears were running uncontrollably down his face. He wouldn't be able to handle having Alhaitham die on him now.

Days later, Kaveh had to leave his house because he couldn’t afford to live there anymore. As Kaveh packed up his things, he sold the stuff he didn’t need and started feeling down again. Like he had before with his earlier struggles. He had no home, no food, and barely any money. He had no hope left. And that’s when he decided to do something.

He was going to do it. To end his life.

He had enough of this world and decided to pick up his dagger he had with him and slit his stomach open. It was so so painful but soon it will be over. He laid there in the alleyway slowly closing his eyes and soon bleeding to death.

Kaveh then muttered his soon to be last words, “At least I can rest peacefully now…”

He heard the sounds of voices of worry, 'I wonder from whom that's coming from..?' The light suddenly blinded him and shook him awake.

In confusion, Kaveh started looking around and in confusion he asked, “H-huh? Where am I?"

As he finally got to his senses, he noticed he was in a sort of... hospital? Wondering who got him there, he then saw a certain someone. Or well.. two certain someones. Tighnari and Cyno.

Tighnari then started to speak to him, “You surely took your time to wake up didn't you? You're in the hospital if that's what your worried about though..."

"Both Tighnari and I were walking by when I saw you bleeding in that alleyway, you could’ve died in there," Cyno added on in concern to Tighnari's comment.

Kaveh mumbled, “Well that’s what I wanted…” as he turned to look at the other side of the room, out to the window.

“Hows Alhaitham?” Kaveh asked finally after some thoughts.

“He died.”

Kaveh's eyes widened for a moment and sighed, "Well... I suppose that was to be expected..."

"Well, both Cyno and I will go see a certain someone. We'll see you soon then..?" Tighnari replied.

A few moments after Tighnari and Cyno left the room, Kaveh got up from his hospital bed and opened the window.

With a smile on his face, he jumped out the window. Falling as a bird that was shot down. It was peaceful yet scary. Then, the crushing of bones creaked out from the corpse of who was once known as Kaveh before. It was quite a gruesome sight.

(Now to that certain someone...)

Alhaitham sighed and responded coldly, "Did you say I... killed myself and since you thought I was as good as gone... You told Kaveh? Now.. What in the right mind did you think of?"

The atmosphere was cold and also awkward as Cyno shifted a bit uncomfortably.

"Well... It had low chances of you to survive anyways so might as well..." Cyno replied back finally.

Cyno then glanced outside widening his eyes as he saw a body fall through the window.

Cyno then said it in shock, "Wait. Is that... Kaveh falling from the window?!"

Tighnari then rushed to the window and stared in shock as he saw the falling blonde. Al Haitham also looked at the window in shock, hurriedly rushing out his hospital bed and ran outside and to his shock, he found his deceased body in front of him. It was almost so gruesome that he had winced at the sight. He walked up to Kaveh's body and kneeled beside it.

Cradling the once alive roomate he had, he mumbled something in Kaveh's ear with tears dripping from his eyes, "I'm so sorry Kaveh."

(Lmk how you thought this rewrite was...!^_^)

Chapter 3: Not a chapter

I'm planning on repicking up this fanfic and giving it more depth to the story. I'd like to dive deeper into Kaveh's decisions and also Alhaitham's. I could also make an alternative version where I could make an ending with fluff and comfort xaaxaxaxaxa... Anyways let me know what I should add on! Thank you for reading :)
