Work Text:

“Now, you no be upset. Frankenstein is very handsome man. We can’t all be handsome. You unique. No one look like you,” said Ygor.

The Monster wasn’t convinced. He moaned unhappily and waved his right hand to the side as if he could banish his unique looks.

“I like your face good. It good to me.” Ygor smiled at the Monster and rubbed his chest.

The Monster rumbled like he didn’t believe Ygor, but the corners of his mouth turned up as he was soothed.

“I’ll tell you what true ugliness is. Remember those men who hanged me?”

The Monster growled.

“The world would look better without them in it. Why don’t you go out hunting tonight?”
