#2
KILLER WIN
After a lost match, Jules stared into her mirror with an aggravated sigh. The Mist was likely angry with her for the loss of the trial, but she could care less.
She’d been distracted lately. There was a new killer joining soon, and The Mist had given everyone, including the survivors, a sneak peak at her.
That's what distracted Jules. Her. Tanasha Njoki. The Empress. If Jules had to say so herself, she wouldn’t lie, the woman was quite attractive.
But was it worth losing those stupid and being punished by The Mist?
Maybe, maybe not. She’d have to wait to meet this woman before she jumped to conclusions.
Tanasha could likely be in the same cabin as Jules, considering Jules didn’t have a roommate. This would be.. exciting.

A few weeks after the announcement, this new killer arrived. She looked better in person..
Shake it off, Jules.
The Showstopper sighed, getting ready for the next round. She really didn’t feel like losing this one. Stupid survivors and their 2-way vaults.
Tanasha walked into the cabin, her things already unpacked to her liking by The Mist. The moment she saw Jules, she eyed the blond up and down.
In a way that Jules couldn’t tell. Jules just stared back, until the other spoke.
“You are Jules, correct?” The Empress asked.
Jules nodded. “And you are.. Tanasha Njoki?”
“Correct.” Tanasha said. “You seem like a fair roommate.”
Jules couldn’t help but smile at her words.
“You too..” She responded.
Tanasha looked at the multiple mirrors that Jules had. She didn’t question
“Well, I have a show to put on.” Jules said, grabbing one of her mirrors.
“Good luck.” Tanasha said, her voice barely above a whisper. She sounded.. embarrassed to say it?
Jules stopped in her tracks, though. She had heard that the former empress was rude and uncalled for.. but.. maybe not.
“..Thank you.” Jules responded in almost the same tone of voice.
Tanasha simply nodded. Jules left the cabin, letting The Mist take her away.

She had to go against a ton of loopers.. great. Just.. try to force them into a bad loop. Per usual. Then use the mirror.. then kill them.
It was always the same thing. The survivors were getting used to it, though.
It was getting annoying. After simply abandoning yet another chase, The Showstopper stared into her mirror for a moment.
Nothing but her own aggravated face. She was supposed to be the star of the show.
She was supposed to win.. but of course not. Nothing was ever in her favor, was it?

SURVIVORS WIN
The announcement blared out, annoying Jules more than she already was. She had barely caught anybody.. and that dumb healer had his stupid shield..
Those survivors were ruining everything.
The moment Jules was standing in front of her cabin, she slammed the door open and then closed behind her.
Tanasha stared at her in surprise from the rather loud entrance.
Jules flopped down onto the bed, yelling into her pillow.
“I'm the star!! Not those.. dumb idiots!”
She began to rant, almost completely forgetting that Tanasha put a hand onto her shoulder.
The woman jumped, looking the woman in the eyes.
“Oh. Sorry. I forgot you were here.” Jules said, sighing and regaining her composure.
“It’s fine but.. it's just one loss.” Tanasha said. “Is it that bad?”
“You haven’t had your first trial— you don’t understand. I’ve been losing a lot lately.” The Showstopper explained. “They know my tricks and.. it's hard, okay?”
Tanasha nodded. “I suppose I understand..” She muttered. “Look, I’ll be cheering you on for your next one.”
Jules chuckled. “Like you can just spectate the trials.”
Tanasha turned around, only turning her head to stare Jules in the eyes. “I’ll be watching.”
Jules shrugged, but couldn't help being a little bit intimidated by the others' presence. But for now, she had a trial to attend too.
★・・・・・・★
Almost immediately, Jules was already in chase. Not with a looper, thankfully.
This round was going.. surprisingly well.
She was gaining speed with each down and kill she got.
And her mirror tricks were working! Maybe the survivors had died.. and forgotten. Jules chuckled to herself, not feeling an ounce of pity for them.
It was never fun being hit with a bat or— shot.. stepping in a trap.. none of it. And the undetectables had always been an issue.
Jules hated mist rounds. They stressed her out.. but it was still a killer win.
Today must’ve been her lucky day. She won that trial. And the next.. and the next.. before she was gifted a new victory pose.
She held a mirror. She looked down into it. Tanasha smirked back at her.
The Showstoppers eyes widened as she stared back at her.
“Told you I’d be watching.” Tanasha smirked
Jules chuckled. “Must be why I’m so lucky.”
Tanasha nodded. “See you back at the cabin.”
KILLER WIN
The speakers blared again.
Finally..
Maybe it was worth ruining her win streak to meet Tanasha.
They had a show ahead, in which Jules wouldn’t mind sharing the stage for.
