Chapter 1, A second pair of twins.
In most universes, there was a contract. A marriage contract. Between a Malfoy, and a Weasley. Centuries before the time we know, of course. Back during the time when Prevells basically ruled the land like the royal family, with the Blacks on their tail feathers. But this story isn't about the Prevells, or the Blacks. It's about the Weasleys, and the Malfoys. In this time, Weasleys were a noble family, you see. On par with the Longbottoms, and Parkinsons. Still below the Malfoys, but only one tier below. So, they had a marriage contract. However, it was broken. Not dissolved, which was easy enough to do, but broken. By the Weasley. The Weasley in the contract became unfaithful, and the contract, which was magically being enforced, reacted with backlash against the whole Weasley family. Suddenly, the family was no longer noble, and no longer able to access their own gringotts accounts. Lady Magic had deemed it that until a day came, when a Weasley and a Malfoy were born in the same year and reenacted the marriage contract, the Weasley family would be locked out of their vaults and their properties. In one universe, this never happens, as both families simply forget this past. In another, one family remembered, while another forgot, but it was still irrelevant. Then, there was this universe. One family remembered, and there was a second pair of twins.
It was a wonderful day for the Weasleys, Ronald and Emilia had just been born! A second pair of twins, and the first girl of the family! Joyous day!
It was a terrible day for the Malfoys, the Weasleys had just birthed a girl and boy, while Lady Malfoy was pregnant! This means no matter the gender, or gender preference of the young Malfoy, they could end up being courted by these Weasleys! Horrific day!....at least the Weasleys seem to have forgotten about that contract.
