“Alden, should I add you on Where’s My Rabbit?”
Alden turned from where he was doing the dishes–of all the issues Lexi had with him, being a bad roommate was not one of them–and gave him a sheepish smile. “I totally forgot about that. I made an account during Intake and then completely forgot it existed.” Then, without his hands ever leaving the plates, he sent an invitation with the “being nice” font. “Did Roman ask you to add him?”
“Unfortunately; he believes we are friends and demanded I create an account so I can keep track of him. I don’t understand him, it’s not like we are even close.”
“Lexi, at this point, I truly think you are friends.” Lute was sprawled on one of the armchairs. He seemed to believe that if any of his limbs were pointed at the same direction, he would die on the spot. “What is that marriage thing where you are considered married even without a wedding?”
Haoyu, the traitor that he was, answered, “Common-law marriage.”
“That! Lexi, you are officially common-law friends with my cousin.”
Lexi sighed, regretted his decision not to stay at home for highschool and confirmed that yes, he would like to receive notifications when Alden was summoned off-planet.
