Summary:

An alternative universe where the One Direction existed, but it was Harry who decided to leave the band and quit his relationship with Louis without further explanation, leaving the band and his partner to sink into a deep depression. His solo career took off quickly, erasing the last five years of his life as if they had never existed.

But when Harry decided to accept an invitation to the wedding of their former hairdresser during One Direction, he had no idea of the pain he was about to inflict on his former friends and especially on Louis, who would have preferred never to see him again.

This fan fiction is largely inspired by the career of the One Direction and their members: Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan. 

I list past events, such as existing performances, music made and key moments that occurred. However, the story is not real and is based solely on my imagination or on late-night debates with my friends ( thanks to them for all those hours spent talking about our favourite singers ).

However, some passages may seem incomprehensible if you haven't followed One Direction from 2010 to the present day, so I've tried to be as clear as possible. 

To help you with your reading, here's some additional information: 

The One Direction were created in 2010 at xFactor, they auditioned separately and made it through to bootcamp but were not selected. However, Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger decided to put them together as a group. For a fortnight, they trained and performed Natalie Imbruglia's version of Torn and qualified for the rest of the show. They finished in third place but signed with Syco Music on release, breaking records in the UK.

• Harry Styles was born on 1 February 1994. 
• Louis Tomlinson was born on 24 December 1991.
• Zayn Malik was born on 12 January 1993.
• Liam Payne was born on 29 August 1993.
• Niall Horan was born on 13 September 1993.

Zayn Malik is the one who left the band on 25 March 2015. The band announced that they would be taking a break in August of that year, starting in December. To date, the group has still not reformed.

The love story between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson is based solely on rumours.

Nothing has been confirmed by the celebrities themselves, and what I have mentioned in this story is not to be recorded as proof of anything. 

Harry Styles joined Jeffrey Azoff, his manager, in February 2016.

Modest! Management is a management agency based in London. However, the information I give about Harry Styles is a figment of my imagination and not necessarily true.

-Up All Night is the debut album by Anglo-Irish band One Direction. It was released on 18 November 2011. Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have very few solos on it, which caused controversy at the time.

-My Policeman is an American-British film directed by Michael Grandage, released in 2022. It’s an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts. Harry Styles is one of the main actors.

-Don't Worry Darling is an American psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde, released in 2022. Harry Styles stars in the film.

-Princess Park Manor is an award-winning, listed building set in 30 acres of private parkland. Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles lived there for a short time.

-Camille Rowe is a Franco-American model and actress. She was in a relationship with Harry Styles for several months in 2018.

-Taylor Swift was in a relationship with Harry Styles in 2012.

-Love on Tour is the second tour by Harry Styles to promote his albums Fine Line and Harry's House.

-Eleanor Calder was Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend between 2011 and 2015. And between 2017 and 2022.

-Caroline Flack (1979-2020) had a controversial relationship with Harry Styles in 2011. At the time, she was 31 and Styles was 17, causing a scandal in the UK.
