Pomni was feeling sick.
Caine thought that it would be a nice and fun idea to bring her and the other performers to a digital rollercoaster ride. Which had lots of loops.
The cart was shaking, Caine's disgusting saliva kept flying in her face, everyone, except Kinger, that seemed to be daydreaming, were screaming at the top of their lurgs.
And Pomni was trying not to throw up, as they were basically flying by the air.
Everytime the cart passed by a loop, Pomni's cheeks puffed up. But, she always managed to swallow the bile up.
Soon, the cart stopped. The ride was finally over. Thanks God...
"Woo-hoo! That was a ride!"-Jax exclaimed, while he lifted his arms in the air.
"I'm feeling kinda dizzy right now..."-Ragatha said, as she got up from the cart, and almost falled on the concrete floor. Jax managed to grab her up before the fall.
"Yikes, Doll Face! Be careful to not hurt your little dolly head~"-Jax provoked.
"Yeah, Jax"-Ragatha rolled her eyes, smiling with his common antics.
Jax then dropped Ragatha, and walked away. A loud scream escaped from her mouth, before she hitted her back on the floor.
"JAX!!!"-Ragatha screamed, as she got up from the floor, and started to chase the Jackrabbit.
Gangle was still crying, after all that adrenaline. Her whole ribbon body was shaking, while fat tears falled from her black eyes.
"Ummm... Hey, Gangle?"-Zooble started, in their common annoyed tone.
"... Huh?"-Gangle turned towards Zooble's seat, while she sobbed.
"Do ya' mind, uh... Giving me a little help?"-Zooble asked, in a nervous tone.
Their whole body was disassembled on the cart's seat.
"I hate when this s-@#$% happens."-Zooble cursed.
Gangle nodded. Then, she started to set Zooble's body up.
"Z-Zooble?"-Gangle called them up.
"What?"-They asked, in a slightly rude tone.
"I can't... Find your left arm..."-Gangle said, in a soft tone.
"HOLY S-@#$%!!!"-Zooble screamed. They ended up scaring Gangle.
"It must have flew away- Oh."-Zooble said, in a annoyed tone. But then, they got more calm, when they saw their left arm, stuck on Kinger's head.
"It's on Kinger's head-"-Zooble tried to remove it, only to get interrupted by a weird act from the Chess Piece...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"-Kinger started to scream, and flap his arms aggressively.
This behavior scared Zooble and Gangle. Zooble's whole body got disassembled, after they got hit by Kinger.
"KINGER, YOU MOTHERFU-@#$%!!!"-Zooble screamed.
Then, Gangle started to cry waterfalls.
Pomni was shaking and sweating in her seat. She would not have a good day after that wild ride...
"Our recent rollercoaster experience was wonderful! But, it left an indelibly disordered atmosphere. Isn't that right, My Dear?"-Caine asked to her, while he spinned his cane.
Pomni tried to get up from the cart. Only to get hit by a sudden nausea and dizziness.
"My, my! Don't rush yourself to stand up, Pomni!"-Caine exclaimed, as he quickly held her up.
"But I... Uh-"
"Doctors say that this reaction — known as postural or orthostatic hypotension — is caused by a rapid change in body positioning, and it's usually nothing to worry about. But if it happens frequently or lasts a long time when it occurs, that could be a sign of a chronic health condition."-Caine said very quickly, as if it were a commercial warning.
Pomni was getting VERY frustrated with Caine's antics. Orthostatic Hypertension? Nonsense! This whole dizziness and nausea was all his fault! He was the one who had the "brilliant" idea to bring them to a rollercoaster. A DANGEROUS and WILD rollercoaster.
"Visual changes, lightheadedness and dizziness that occur in the seconds after you stand up happen due to a sudden, temporary drop in blood pressure-"-Caine kept talking.
But, his speech got interrupted by a loud retch from Pomni.
No, no, no! Not now! Not in the-
Before Caine could say something, Pomni threw up a black liquid all over the concrete floor.
Caine's eyes bounced and widened up. Soon, everyone walked towards the Jester.
"Pomni? Are you alright?"-Zooble asked, in a calm tone, to not fright Pomni even more.
"Oh my Gosh! Pomni!"-Ragatha quickly approached the Jester.
"Damn, seems like Pom-Pom can't handle a little ride."-Jax said, with a smug look on his face.
But then, Zooble stepped on his foot. He flinched in pain.
"Shut up, Jax. But yeah, he's right. Pomni's stomach might have got upset with this ride. By the way, Caine. This whole ride was a whole bulls-@#$%"-Zooble commented, while they fixed their body.
"But why? The adrenaline everyone felt was marvelous!"-Caine said, in a silly tone.
"This ride broke my comedy mask..."-Gangle cried.
"I disagree, because this was the most jaw-dropping, spine-tingling, inexplicable, astounding and overwhelming rollercoaster excursion I could ever asked to have in my whole life in this place!!!"-Jax exclaimed, as his smile widened.
Everyone, except Kinger and Caine, stared at him with annoyed looks in their faces.
"Are you done kissing Caine's ass?"-Zooble asked, in a annoyed tone.
Ragatha stared at Pomni, whose face was practically green.
"Don't worry Pomni, I'll take care of-"-Ragatha said, but got interrupted by Caine.
"Now, now! Let me take care of her."-Caine said, as he grabbed Pomni, and snapped his fingers.
Caine and Pomni got teleported back to the tent.
And then, another wave of nausea hitted Pomni. Making her puke a black liquid all over the floor. Again.
Caine's eyes widened.
"Oh my! You should clean that up!"-Caine exclaimed, as he walked away slightly from the vomit.
"I'm on it, Boss!"-Bubble exclaimed, as he came out from Caine's top hat.
Pomni felt even more nauseous after Bubble did the most disgusting thing ever...
Lick her vomit.
Caine facepalmed himself with his assistant's sudden act.
"...Why are you like this?"-He muttered under his breath.
"Now, I shall take care of you, My Dear!"-Caine said, while he patted Pomni's head.
His eyes turned into static.
"Uh... What are you-"-Pomni tried to say something, but got interrupted by Caine.
"Of course! A glass of water shall help!"-Caine exclaimed.
Pomni felt relieved that the Ringmaster was willing to help her up. She just wasn't expecting a whole bucket of cold water to fall on her. She immediately started to cough, as the cold liquid hitted her body.
Well, it's Caine... She shouldn't be surprised.
"C-C-C-Caineee! WHY d-d-d-did you d-do t-t-that?!"-Pomni asked, while she shivered.
"Oh no no no, My Dear. Take small sips!"-Caine said, while he threw another bucket of water on her face.
Pomni chocked on the water.
"S-STOP!"-Pomni managed to say, while she coughed.
"What's the matter, Martha?"-Caine asked, in sheer curiosity.
Pomni's eyes widened, and her face turned into a "are you serious?" expression.
"...W-What- Did you just called me Martha?"
"Off we go!"-Caine exclaimed, as he grabbed Pomni again.
This time, they teleported to her bedroom.
"Caine. Can you PLEASE stop touching me? I HATE being touched!"-Pomni said, in a angry tone. Only to be ignored by Caine.
"Now, my dear, take a sit on this comfortable and fluffy bed."-Caine said, in a calm tone, while he patted the bed.
"Um... Sure, I-"-Pomni said nervously, while she took a sit on the bed.
An awful hard bed.
"Uhhh... Caine? What have you done with my bed?"-Pomni asked, with a slightly angry tone.
"Oh, Bubble washed it!"-Caine said, while he took a sit in the bed.
"I hope you don't mind this wonderful scent of CSLL!"-Caine said, while he crossed his legs.
"The what-"
"Cranberry Soap with Lavender and Lilac."
Pomni was a little... Happy. Her bed was all clean, fresh, and with a wonderful scent of-
Wait a minute.
"W-W... What did you just said?..."-Pomni asked, with fear in her voice.
"Cranberry Soap with Lavender and Lilac."-Caine repeated, with a curious look on his face.
"Why would you ask, My Dear?"-Caine asked, seeming oblivious.
"BECAUSE I'M ALLERGIC TO LAVENDER, CAINE!!!"-Pomni yelled at him, finally fed up with his shenanigans.
The Ringmaster was shocked with Pomni's sudden burst of anger, but soon, he recomposed himself.
"Nonsense! It's impossible to have allergies in The Amazing Digital Circus!"-Caine explained.
"Caine... If I'm literally feeling nauseous right now, how can't I have allergies here?"-Pomni asked.
"BECAUSE YOU CAN'T."-Caine screamed, making Pomni flinch.
Then, he layed down in the bed to relax with Pomni. He literally made the entire bed tear apart with his strength. Pomni and Caine falled down on the hard floor.
"CAINE! MY BED!"-Pomni screamed.
"Now now, My Dear. No need to panic, I can fix this!"-He said, then, proceeding to fix the bed with a simple finger snap.
"How... Uh-"
"Don't ask questions."-The ringmaster said.
Pomni sat in the bed. It was way more hard and uncomfortable than before.
Caine covered her with a blanket.
"Now, My Dear. You shall relax. Good night, and sweet dreams, my little Jester!"-Caine said, while he patted her head up.
"B-But Caine, I don't think I can sleep after vomiting-"-Pomni tried to speak, only to get interrupted by Bubble.
"A delicious plate to Pomni!"-Bubble said, as he threw a bowl of some kind of liquid in Pomni's hands.
It had a horrendous smell. But it tasted pretty good!
"Wow! Um... Thanks, Bubble."-Pomni smiled softly to Bubble.
"You can always count on us, My Dear!"-Caine said, while he patted Bubble.
Caine might not be the best Ringmaster, neither the best caretaker to her. She surely prefers Ragatha's motherly cares.
But at least, Caine tries.
And she's quite grateful for that.
