His throat felt the sting of the words, tightening at the inevitability of what he had just done. There was no turning back now.
He had finally dented the invisible wall they had both built over the years.
He finally had a chance.
Eddie blinked. Understandably so, by the way. He licked his lips, frowned, and took a step forward. “Excuse me?”
Buck inhaled softly, somehow encouraging himself even more. “I said, do you wanna make out?”
