beautiful doll blossoms into her own, the world around her changes along with her and the people around her. waking surgery scenes that are written like poetry and fast-motion scenes are combed through frame-by-frame. Stims work is beautiful and this is no exception.

This story is absolutely beautiful, from beginning to end every character is full and rich. Illia is probably one of the *prettiest* Affini in the setting, the final chapter is so...perfect. It's hard to describe, it truly ends at the perfect time. There are no hanging threads, no remaining questions, everyone is happy and everything is beautiful. I love and adore Joy and i'm so happy she will never have to mask again.
