Chapter Text

It’s been 5 years. 5 years since Tim last saw Hawk. He didn’t write, message, or anything. No communication.

Part of Tim feels like he would have felt relieved to hear from Hawk, but the other part knows that staying away and being curious is a better option.

Hawk and Tim met while they were juniors in college. Studying the same thing means taking the same classes, and that’s where Tim met Hawk.

He didn’t know what drew him towards the dark haired male. He wasn’t sure if it was his bright blue eyes that glistened in the light or his sharp smile that made him weak. Maybe both. Maybe more.

Tim fell in love. Head over heels for Hawk. He was a devoted catholic but he knew never to fake who he was and he never did.

From acquaintance to friends. From friends to best friends and from best friends to lovers.

Hawk showered the boy with so much love and affection. He gifted him the joy of being loved and cared for. He endured so much hiding, just for love.

The pleasures of their relationship pained Tim to think about. His body aches, calling out for Hawks touch, for Hawks body to rock against his. In sweat and tears, he remembers how Hawk would kiss the love bites that made Tim yell out his name.

Now Tim has nothing but an empty apartment to look back on. Hawk left once their secret was public. He left Tim and he left him fast.

He walked out and Tim wished, he prayed Hawk would look back at him and see what he was leaving behind.

But he didn’t.

Tim was heartbroken. He spent weeks trying to figure out how on earth he would ever heal, how he would ever live a normal; a lonely life, without Hawk.

What sounded like a nightmare, Tim found a way. He still feels pains in his chest from time to time in a moment of remembrance. He wonders if the heartbreak has actually broken something in him, if they will ever go away.

Tim has learned that people were quick to judge and quick to turn away, pretending life is just perfect.

But life was hard. It was hard for people like Tim and people who don’t have the respect and support. Life hasn’t always been nice, and life isn’t supposed to be nice.

Because of life, he lost Hawk

Life broke his heart, but Hawk destroyed it.
