Chapter Text

Izuku was playing at the playground with Kacchan, when the world went black. He heard Kacchan faintly calling “DEKU?!”

Izuku tried to answer, but was unsuccessful in breaking through the oily black screen covering his mental control. “KACCHAN?!” he yelled in his empty headspace, getting no response whatsoever as the ink started surrounding him.

The next thing he knew he was still at the playground but now the wood chips around him were stained black with… ink? “Kacchan?” He looked around at the playground structures to see the one and only Katsuki Bakugo trying to wake him up.

“Deku?” Katsuki asked.

“Kacchan?” Izuku had no clue what was going on, first he was just playing around and having fun and then he was on the ground and his arms felt covered in something that resembled ink.

He looked down. “What? Why is there ink?” The five year old questioned. Just then the parents finally noticed their children and ran over hurriedly.

“Are you okay?!” Inko asked at the same time as Mitsuki.

“Yeah, just scared me and Kacchan.” He said standing up.

“Could it have been your quirk?” Masaru asked.

“The doctor said he didn’t have one!” Inko said.

“Well it must be!” said Mitsuki.

The boys looked at the parents confusedly.

“Izuku, honey, do you feel okay? You look drenched in, what is that? Is that ink?” Inko asked the confused boys.

Izuku looked down at his clothes and sure enough he was covered in ink, somehow the ink wasn’t touching his skin.

“Come on Izuku let’s get you cleaned up, fortunately I always have a spare change of clothes for him as well as wipes.” Izuku followed his mother as well as Mitsuki and Katsuki, Masaru had to take a phone call. Inko took off the drenched shirt to find that Izuku was perfectly clean underneath. His pants were untouched by the ink.

“How?” was the question Mitsuki, Katsuki, and Inko were asking themselves. Nonetheless Inko put a new shirt on Izuku.

“We should probably head home now, thank you for coming with Katsuki, Mitsuki.” Inko said as she started to half-drag half-walk with Izuku back home.

“No problem Inko!” Mitsuki answered while half-walking, half-dragging Katsuki home as well.

“Bye Kacchan!” Izuku said happily, fully joining his mother in walking.

“Bye Deku.” Katsuki grumbled.

“Katsuki! Manners.” Mitsuki scolded.

When Izuku and Inko got home his mom went about scheduling an appointment with the quirk doctor and making dinner.

“Mom? Do you think I could be a hero like All Might?” Izuku asked as he played with his All Might action figures.

“Of course honey, especially with that quirk of yours.” Internally she was wondering how her child had a quirk. Had the doctor lied? Was he a special case? If anything Izuku didn’t seem to be too scared so far, so it must not have been a life changing experience, right? Izuku was seemingly not fazed by the dark ink void that had trapped him inside of his headscape, until when Inko put him down for bed.

“Light on or off?” Inko asked, expecting off as it was every night.

“On, please.” Izuku said as he pulled the covers up to his chin.

Inko hesitated, asking, “Really? You always have the light off.”

“I don’t want it off tonight.” Izuku said.

“Okay then.” Inko said, closing the door wondering why her son suddenly didn’t want the lights off.
“Was it his quirk showing itself?” Inko asked herself. Izuku normally would want the light off, but the ink he had seen earlier was reminiscent of his dark room, even now he could see the thick oily layer trying to trap him in his brain.

Chapter Text

The next day Izuku woke up in his bed and got ready for school, it was the day he could tell people about his newfound ability, after all. He ran down the stairs, eager for the first time since he had been called quirkless to go to school.

“Good morning mom!” Izuku said happily climbing into a chair as his mother put a bowl of cereal in front of him.

“Thanks!” Izuku knew that it might not be the best idea to eat his food faster than his mouth could chew but, what can he say, he's excited.

“Izuku, chew slowly.” Inko gently scolded.

Izuku knew his mother probably knew better than he about the topic of how fast he should eat, but he was so excited he couldn't slow down. Izuku knew better than to expect his classmates to believe anything he said, I mean he just followed Kacchan after he was told he would never get a quirk. Izuku’s hopes to tell his classmates were immediately crushed by his mom telling him that they would be going to check what his quirk was.

“Why are we going to check it Mom?” Izuku asked, grabbing his yellow school bag that was nearly the size of him.

“So that we know what to do with it, Izuku.” Inko was the patient type, the perfect match for an overactive toddler, he somehow managed to nearly break her very strong wall of patience.

“Oh.” Izuku may not be the smartest child but he wasn’t the dumbest, he knew so much about heroes he could make Kacchan angry at him. Well maybe it wasn’t that hard to make Kacchan angry, but he could make him somehow angrier.

“Come on Izuku.” Inko said sweetly.

“Okay!” Izuku snapped out of his thoughts, and jumped up to follow his mother, a Nurse working at the local hospital dressed in scrubs needing to head to work right after the appointment. Inko started walking, five year old in tow, as they made their way to their local pediatrician’s office. Izuku followed with excitement that could never be conveyed through words.

“Izuku, calm down.” Inko chided sweetly.

“Okay!” Izuku said, pace matching his mom’s. When they made it to the pediatrician’s office they checked in at the front desk and sat in the waiting room, Izuku somehow managed to stay still. When they got called back Izuku practically jumped up his mom following him close behind. The doctor first did your average physical exam and then took some of Izuku’s blood to test for what the quirk is. The doctor came back a few minutes later with a paper in his hand from the blood test results.

“Your son’s quirk is called ink, well we’ve never actually seen anything like it but the name is fitting.” The doctor informs them. Izuku was now buzzing with excitement.

“What does it do?!” Izuku asked excitedly.

“You can secrete ink from your body and control it to become shapes, or even figures with enough practice. You can also surround yourself in it or even turn yourself temporarily into ink.” The doctor gave this explanation and Izuku wrote it down in his notebook.

“Mom! Did you hear that?!” Izuku said in excitement.

Inko softly chuckled “Yes, yes I did honey. Are you excited to tell Kacchan?” Inko asked.

“Yesh!” Izuku said completely forgetting about the darkness from last afternoon. Inko thanked the doctor and they left to drop Izuku off at school.

“Bye Izuku!” Inko said walking off from Izuku after talking to the front office. Izuku walked into the school running out to play with his “friends” including Kacchan.

“Kacchan! Kacchan!” Izuku shouted, finding the spiky haired blond in the sand pit.

“What do you want Deku?” Katsuki replied.

“Kacchan! I got my quirk!” Izuku practically shouted.

“What is it, Deku?” Katsuki aggressively asked.

“It’s called ink!” Izuku was way too excited than a five year old should be capable of being.

“How do you use that? It sounds useless!” Katsuki yelled.

Izuku undeterred said “I can secweet ink from my skin and control it. Kind of like your quirk Kacchan!”

“Show me. I don’t believe you.'' One of Katsuki’s cronies said incredulously.

Izuku thought of ink and his mind was kind of covered in it he found, he pushed some of the ink from his mind and it came out of his hand.

“Woah!” All of the boys said simultaneously. Izuku thought of it becoming a cube and it formed into a cube, he thought of it becoming his name on the ground and it melded to his command. Katsuki’s palms popped with small explosions as he got angry.

“Why do you have a quirk Deku?” Katsuki was angry, as always, that he probably wouldn’t get to call Izuku deku anymore and that Izuku had a better quirk than even he did. Izuku thought of the ink coming back and it retracted coming back into his mind. Izuku now realized Just how dark his mind had become.

Later that day it was time to go home and Izuku ran out the front doors so he could walk home and wait for his mom’s shift at the hospital to end. Izuku made it home and went about making dinner as he had most every night ever since he learned how. When Inko came home she was happy to see her little kid coming up to her and helping her with her shoes as he finished setting the table for the both of them.

“Thank you Izuku, it looks delicious.” Inko said gently.

“You’re welcome! I tried my very best!” Izuku said, happy to get praise from his mother.

Chapter 3: A talk about your quirk

Summary:

... I'm really bad at this part..... I WILL MAKE A PICTURE OF WHAT IZUKU LOOKS LIKE AND UPDATE IT AS WE GO THOUGH!!!!!!!

Chapter Text

Izuku woke up at the early hour (for a five year old) of seven AM. He hopped out of bed and ran into the kitchen where Inko was already making breakfast and packing his lunch.

“Morning Mom!” Izuku said excitedly as he was now ready for school having slept in his elementary uniform.

“Morning Zuku.” Inko said, chuckling a bit at his excitement.

“How are you always a little ball of energy? If only you could give some of that to me, we would both fare better. Me, with the energy to go to work and you, a little calmer and easier to put to sleep.” Inko said, sighing slightly. “If only.”

It’s okay Mom! I’ll make sure you get lots of sleep! Then you can have as much energy as me!” Izuku said joyfully.

Inko set their plates on the table and Izuku immediately started eating his breakfast (I couldn’t decide whether to go with American breakfast or Japanese). By the time they made it out the door it was still dark outside. Inko started walking Izuku, holding the over-excited toddler's hand as they made it to his school only fifteen minutes before his class started.

“Goodbye Izuku!” His mother started walking to the hospital just a few blocks down. Izuku sat outside the school, waiting for his classmates. About five minutes later some of his classmates showed up at the playground and Izuku waved politely as they walked past him. Luckily kids under ten had a pass for quirk usage as little five year old Izuku had his hands in a pool of ink at the present, not noticing it until Katsuki came over and said, “What’s this black stuff?”

Izuku looked down at his hands that were on the blacktop, a somewhat thick inky substance coming off of his hands, when he pulled his hands out of the ink the ink came with them and disappeared seeming to go inside of his skin.

“Woah,” the two boys spoke in unison, but the boys didn’t have time to test anything before the bell rang and they were called inside the school building.

As Izuku walked home with Katsuki his mind buzzed with everything he wanted to try this Saturday with Kacchan. Izuku made it home made dinner, ate with his mom and went to bed.
Yet…. There was a difference from this routine and normality of sleeping; it was that as he started to fall asleep he was seemingly pulled by a thick inky substance. He awoke, (at least Izuku thinks he did?) in an old, run down…. Place? Izuku looked around, slowly standing up. He looked down and saw that he was dripping ink, but he really didn’t care about that right now. He turned around jumping at the sight of a cutout of……. A demon? Besides the point, it was smiling very creepily, wait….. It’s made out of cardboard! Izuku realized that the demon thing wasn’t all that scary, even if it was taller than him. Suddenly, a figure came around the corner….. It looked to be……. An old man?!?! At any rate Izuku should find a place to hide from him, and fast. Izuku decided that he should hide behind the demon cutout. The man entered the room,

“I swear I heard something in here….”

Izuku peeked his head around the cutout, trying to see the man better. The man looked fairly nice, besides the axe he was carrying.

“Y-you did….” Izuku came out from behind the cutout, ready to hide back behind it if the man wasn’t nice.
The man jumped a bit at his sudden appearance.

“Wh-what’s your name?” Izuku asked.

“My name’s Henry, what’s yours?” The man, now known to be named Henry, asked.

“My name is Midoriya Izuku!” All fear in Izuku’s body left him at that moment.

“Now for a better question, why are you here?” Henry asked.

“I do not know!” Izuku said honestly.

“Well that’s probably the first thing we should figure out, that and how to get out of here.” Henry then nudged Izuku to the side, before hitting the cardboard cutout with his axe.

“What was on that cutout?” Izuku asked.

“Oh, a character named Bendy.” Henry said nonchalantly.

“THAT’S SO COOL!” Izuku practically screamed

“Come to think of it… I haven’t seen the little devil the entire time I’ve been here, where is he?” Henry seemed to be speaking to himself.

“I don’t know, should we go find him?” Izuku didn’t know who the ink demon was but it sounded interesting!

“Uhhhhh….. No” Henry said with no explanation.

“Oh, okay!” Izuku said cheerily.

Suddenly the lights shut off.

Izuku’s breath sped up. He curled up by Henry’s shoes, trying to make himself as small as possible. He started to cry out of fear.

“Do you have Nyctophobia?” Henry asked in a whisper.

“Wh-what’s that?” Izuku was barely managing to speak.

“It’s the extreme fear of the dark.” Henry explained.

“O-oh, m-maybe… how would I know?” Izuku said.

“I- yeah, you’re right why would either of us know? When we get out of here we should get that checked out.” Henry admitted.

“O-okay” Izuku wrapped himself around Henry’s leg, not wanting to be alone in the dark.

Henry picked the scared Izuku, rocking him gently.

“H-huh?” Izuku asked, though he felt a lot safer in Henry’s arms.

“I thought this would help, I can put you down if you want.” Henry’s voice seemed to hold no emotions other than a bit of shock from earlier.

“N-no, I feel safer this way.” Izuku admitted.

Eventually the lights turned back on and Izuku was set down. Izuku still clung to Henry like his life depended on it.

“Are you okay bud?” Henry asked.

“Yeah, I’m just nervous.” Izuku said, his excitement coming back into his voice very quickly.

“Okay. Now, let’s find our way out of here, funny thing I found you in the theater room, right next to the ink machine.” Henry said, now realizing just where they were. “Now where is that record disk?”

Izuku started running around, peeking into doors and making his way around the studio before going into an area in between the hallways leading to the Ink Machine's room and the workroom, finding an office with an eighth note on the wall and a music disk found under the desk as Izuku looked under it.

“Woah! Great job Kid! I couldn’t find that!” Henry said, looking at the record disk.

Izuku giggled as Henry went off, to flip the lever to turn on the ink machine and Izuku wandered off into the room where the ink machine was. Izuku’s eyes widened at the sight, looking at the large machine. Izuku eventually found himself in the animation department. He ran around looking at the pictures, until suddenly he bumped into the sides of two desks, one coincidentally still having a half full ink pot and landing right on his head. The ink covered his face and so he didn’t open his eyes so that they didn’t get covered in ink. As he opened his eyes a while later when the ink had dried, he was back in his room.

Chapter 4: Reaching new lengths

Summary:

..... I ran out of ideas, that's why it's so short, I just wanted to get to chapter 5 honestly and I now have a better storyline for it, no I didn't plan for this until chapter 2.

Chapter Text

That was odd. Izuku ought to have marked it as a dream, but dreams come from your own memories and experiences. Therefore, that couldn’t have been a dream. He guessed that they also came true due to the writing he had seen while wandering around.

“What dreams are coming true?”Izuku pondered, “It doesn't seem like most people’s dreams are coming true. In fact, I don’t think anyone has completely fulfilled their dreams.” Izuku looked at the clock and saw it was Saturday. He knew he would probably take a nap later, because he didn’t feel very rested after his sleep.
Inko came into Izuku’s room, they went through their normal morning routine, Izuku decided not to share his odd dream from the night before.

Inko was giving Izuku a bath and while washing his hair she discovered a pair of black horns. Izuku and Inko wondered about this but just left them be.

Later, Katsuki came over to play with Izuku. Mitsuki came to talk to Inko. Izuku showed Katsuki his horns and they studied each other's quirks the entire day, trying to figure out the extent of their powers.

Izuku was playing with Katsuki at the park when suddenly (with a cartoony popping sound) an inky black tail popped out of his pants, making a small hole about the diameter of a quarter.

Izuku looked back as Katsuki jumped and looked at his tail in shock.

“Wh-what?!” Izuku questioned the sudden appearance of a tail, it didn’t hurt for some reason.

“Mom!?” Both boys yelled for their mothers.

As soon as Inko and Mitsuki heard the yell they ran towards their children, only being about two yards (about 1.5 meters) away.

“What happened?” Mitsuki was the first to speak.

“We were playing and suddenly a tail popped out with a pop!” Izuku and Katsuki said at the exact same time, almost too fast to understand.

“Okay, calm down and let's figure out what happened,” Inko said sweetly.
Both boys nodded. Mitsuki was trying to figure out what happened, while Inko led the boys through breathing.

“We were playing and then Izu suddenly had a tail,” Katsuki explained slowly, with Izuku nodding along.

Inko sighed, “I guess that’s part of his quirk then?”

“Maybe.” Mitsuki agreed.

Katsuki and Izuku listened to them, trying to figure it out in their five year old brains.

“It’s dripping…..” Izuku said, ink running onto the grass.

“Ewwwww….” Katsuki said, looking at the ink on the ground.

Eventually Izuku’s tail was wrapped up in a plastic bag and the boys went back to playing.

By the end of the day Izuku’s tail had stopped dripping and he and Katsuki were going to have a sleepover while Mitsuki and Inko had a girls night. Izuku talked to Katsuki for about an hour past bedtime, and as they went to sleep Izuku felt like he was slowly elongating and his hair stood up weird, he brushed it off as he slipped off to sleep.

Chapter Text

Black, Black everywhere, it was pitch black and wet, and inky.
Izuku was terrified of the dark around him, ink slowly starting to drip from what seemed to be an odd machine….. Eventually he saw through the ink and ran towards the figure he recognized as Henry!
Though Henry ran away as Izuku broke through the door…. He wondered why Henry ran..
Izuku then looked at his hands, then his feet and realized why… He was an inky monster… Or something, it was hard to tell. Still, Izuku chased after Henry as the studio started to fill with ink. Henry suddenly fell through the floor, and Izuku saw an odd figure through the hole as the ink started to drain. Izuku saw a man, seemingly covered in ink with overalls half on, a mask of what seemed to be Bendy on his face… and he was carrying a Bendy cutout? Izuku couldn’t follow Henry down the hole because it was too small.

Izuku continued his wanderings he had started the night before, wandering through the halls as he thought about how if he was himself he could go down the hole after Henry. Suddenly, Ink flowed off of him as he made his way back to the hole.

Izuku slowly climbed down the hole, dropping into the dimly lit area, which was pretty scary for the kindergartener.

”Who’s There?” A scary sounding voice said.

Izuku jumped, “M-my name i-is I-Izuku…..” Izuku whispered.

“Izuku?”A familiar voice said.

“Henry?” Izuku asked.

“Yeah bud.” Henry said. He had no clue how to deal with children, that was very obvious.

In the back of Izuku’s head he could hear his alarm and then the scene around him faded.

Notes:

Y’all I can’t anymore Writer's block hit me hard. I’m sorry if this doesn’t follow the bendy universe things, I still need to finish the game…. Ughhhhhhhh hey it’ll change anyway, I think at least one of the Alices will like children and look after him or something. Also chapter seven will probably take forever, so six might take less time (for once a real world chapter seems easy) I think I should leave it at the end of chapter one and like oh! No need for the Alices to like kids, because Izuku is finally going to be ummm oh yeah, 15, we are doing the entrance exam for the second time on this account!! Thanks for sticking around this far, I don’t know how many chapters I’ll get through. TO THE REAL WORLD WE GO!

Chapter 6: Entrance Exam, Start!

Summary:

Time skip! Yay!!!

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Izuku awoke to his All Might alarm blaring at him.

”I am here! I am here! I am here!” The alarm shouted until Izuku turned it off.

Izuku sat up, pulling on his Aldera school uniform. He then walked out of his room and found a bowl of rice and fish on the table, a note beside it from his mom that explained she had an early shift.

Izuku quickly ate his breakfast, putting his yellow backpack on.

Izuku took a deep breath and pushed the ink off of his mind, trying not to think about his inky friends that had become absent in his dreams, instead focusing on the task at hand, school.

Izuku waited outside of Katsuki’s door, as had become routine for the greenette.

Eventually Katsuki came outside of the house, looking confused.

“What are you doing here, Izuku?” Katsuki questioned.

“The entrance exam is in an hour Kacchan!!” Izuku bubbled excitedly.

Katsuki stared at him. “It’s in two hours, what time did you wake up?”

“Well I set my alarm for 6, but I woke up at 5.” Izuku hadn’t seen any dreams with Henry since he was very small, he still wondered what had happened to the man in his dreams from time to time.

Katsuki sighed. “So I’m guessing you’re just going to wait here then?”

Izuku nodded.

They did make it to the entrance exam… Thirty minutes early because Izuku was way too excited and they had learned he starts dripping when he gets nervous or excited. (Fun little detail)

“I could open a pen store.” Izuku joked.

“I don’t even think that’s a joke anymore, I’m surprised your shoes are still red.” Katsuki teased.

Izuku nodded.

“The worst part is that it’s thick it's kinda gross… I wash it off a lot.” Izuku mentioned.

“Save it in a jar next time.” Katsuki joked.

Izuku chuckled.

“When I design my costume I’m going to make it so I can’t feel the ink.” Izuku mentioned.

Izuku bounced a ball of ink on the ground, it followed what he wanted it to do, within reason, and with a big puddle of ink on the ground it wasn’t losing ink that Izuku had to clean up from splatters.

Izuku gathered the ink on the ground into the ball and put it on his head, completely soaking his hair.

“Ack- it’s in my mouth!!” Izuku exclaimed as he tried to spit out the ink.

“Yeah, you put a big blob in your hair, it’s going to drip.” Katsuki chided.

The ink dripped down into Izuku’s eyes, but he didn’t notice, he could see fine, just felt odd.

“Kacchan, is there something on my eyes?” Izuku asked

“Holy sh- Izuku your eyes are covered in ink, can you even see?” Katsuki questioned.

Izuku nodded. “Yeah, I can.” Izuku stated.

Izuku tried to wipe the ink off his eyes but it dripped back.

With that the mystery of the ink demon’s eyes being covered yet still seeing is kind of solved… Izuku still doesn’t like the dark.

“As long as it’s not making my vision pitch black I guess.” Izuku mumbled

Izuku checked the time and started walking into the door that had a big one on it.

Katsuki ran and made it inside the building before Izuku.

“Beat you, Nerd!” Katsuki taunted.

“Yep! You did.” Izuku bubbled.

Izuku grabbed his entrance exam card. “Kacchan, what seat number did you get? I got 14, row 7 in section 32.”

“I got… 15, row 7 in section 32.” Katsuki said nonchalantly.

“We’re right next to each other!” Izuku exclaimed.

Izuku went silent as he entered the large exam hall— slowly and nervously he found his seat.

People slowly trickled in as the start time neared closer.

“Kacchan! Kacchan! Look! It’s Present Mic!!!” Izuku whispered excitedly.

Katsuki nodded and looked at the pro hero in awe.

Izuku put his elbow on the desk and leaned on it… Until he saw ink dripping onto the desk.

“Oops…” Izuku mumbled and grabbed the washcloth he kept in his bag.

The introduction started and then the entrance exam test part was on.

Izuku worked through the test and turned it over, trying not to mumble as he worked.

The test was timed; the students had only three hours to complete the test before they would move onto the practical exam.

Izuku sat silently and tried to get the ink out of his curly hair as it was starting to drench the ringlets and make them stick flat to his head.

Present Mic stood up. “Students! Time is up!!”

Izuku looked up at Present Mic, as did almost every other student.

“Pass your tests to the right!” Present Mic instructed.

Izuku passed his test to Kacchan and Kacchan passed it to the next person, so on and so forth.

Present Mic got ready to explain the practical exam as the tests were collected by some teachers that weren’t already helping with the entrance exams for other courses.

“Now, there are three robots, a one pointer, two pointer, and a three pointer.” Present Mic explained.

“But sir!” A blue haired boy stood up. “I am Iida Tenya, I would like to point out that there are four robots mentioned on the pamphlet, yet you only mentioned three.”

“Yes, there is another one, but it is worth zero points, so I didn’t think there was much reason to mention it, you don’t need to worry about that one.” Present Mic explained.

The boy, Iida, sat back down.

“Anyways, Listeners! On your card is a letter for the practical exam center you will be in! Good luck!” Present Mic made a shooing motion with his hands before he walked off stage.

Izuku grabbed Kacchan’s bag so he didn’t lose him as they left.

“Kacchan, what group did you get?” Izuku asked when they made it outside.

“I got D, you?” Katsuki responded.

Izuku shook his head. “I guess they didn’t want people from the same school to end up in the same facility, I got C.”

Katsuki nodded and started to follow the arrows that were labeled “D” . Izuku did the same with the “C” arrows.

When Izuku made it to the area he found the blue haired boy again.

“Hey! Iida, right?” Izuku asked.

“Yes, who might you be?” Iida asked, his arms chopping the air stiffly.

“I’m Midoriya Izuku!” Izuku responded.

“Ah, nice to meet you Midoriya.” Iida responded.

“Likewise.” Izuku said.

“Okay Listeners! Doors will open in about… NOW!” Present Mic’s voice sounded on the speakers on the wall surrounding the fake city.

The door started to open and Izuku found himself at the front of the crowd, ink dripping off of him, the doors had just started to open and he had somehow slid through the three inch tall gap.

Izuku looked behind him in shock, shouts of “He cheated!” came from the crowd of students.

“There’s no door in a real battle so GO! GO! GO!” Present Mic announced, sounding astonished himself.

Izuku ran for it, having some idea of what he was doing.

Izuku jumped on a three pointer and opened its back panel, dousing the machinery with thick, black ink.

Izuku took down robot after robot, his entire body encased in ink, when Izuku looked down at his hands they looked similar to how they did when he dreamed all those years ago.

Izuku felt power fill him as he ripped apart robots with his claws.

Then, the zero pointer got released.

Izuku charged it down without thinking, pouncing on it as the ink seemed to take control of his body.

As Izuku fell to the ground with the robot the ink fell off his body, he felt exhausted. Then, WHAM!! Izuku hit the ground and passed out.

When Izuku woke up it wasn’t really waking up, but it wasn’t that old animation studio either. There was a small character playing with a toy train.

“Bendy?” Izuku whispered, astonished.

The 3D cartoon looked up from playing with his toy train and tilted his head to the side.

A voice sounded in Izuku’s head, it was a deep, rumbling sound, it was whispering to him.

“This damned form does not let me speak, I must communicate with you in your mind, you have finally found the full extent of my powers.” The voice rasped.

“Who are you?” Izuku asked.

”The Ink Demon The voice breathed.

Thanks for reading! I asked my friend and they said to leave it on a cliffhanger. I’m excited to write the next one, it will hopefully be out soon because I am pretty sure it will be short. (This chapter was 1421 words).

Chapter Text

Bendy looked up at Izuku as if they were best friends.

“Hi buddy!” Izuku said kindly.

Bendy grabbed his hand and started to lead Izuku through the inky blankness of Izuku’s mind.

“Where are we?-” Izuku asked before being led into an old animation studio. “Woah!”

”You have gained access to my dwelling once more.” The Ink Demon sounded in his mind. ”I had to shield it from your mind, having a five year old control my body is too unsafe.”

Izuku nodded.

”Follow me, I must show you the machine The voice breathed.

Izuku did follow the little Bendy, looking around the familiar area, foggy memories starting to come back into his brain from when he last came here.

”Gather the two batteries, I will get the ink running again.” Bendy walked off.

Izuku found himself alone on a balcony next to a deep pit.

Izuku grabbed one battery from the shelf, and another from a nearby chest, one that you would find at the end of a bed at a grandma’s house.

“Bendy?!” Izuku called out, as he had no idea where the little demon went.

”DON’T CALL ME THAT INFERIOR NAME!... I am in the break room.” The Ink Demon yelled in Izuku’s head.

“Owww… Okay I won’t!” Izuku said back.

Izuku found a sign that led to the break room, he also picked up a cardboard cut out of Bendy for some protection.

”Took you long enough, could you put these items on the correct pedestals, we need to start up this version of the ink machine to get back to Henry and the other creatures of the machine.” The Ink Demon said.

Izuku nodded and put an inkwell with a skull on it, a book titled The Illusion of Living, a Bendy doll, a gear, a wrench, and a record titled The Lighter Side of Hell on different pedestals in the room.

Bendy started to lead Izuku to the projector room to turn the ink pressure back on, as the small demon couldn’t reach it.

”Turn the handle.” The Ink Demon commanded.

Izuku tried the handle.

”Harder.” The ink demon instructed.

Izuku pushed the handle, making the ink pressure turn up, and making a nearby pipe start to explode with ink.

Bendy led Izuku back to the break room to turn that switch and go back into the locked away dream world Izuku hadn’t seen for so long.

When Izuku turned on the switch Ink started to flow more readily out of the pipes, bursting them open, but instead of it leaking into a lower level, it filled the area, eventually completely filling the room, and then Izuku finally woke up.

Notes:

Thanks for reading! Sorry for the short chapter, I had a lot of writer's block and I felt okay leaving it here.

Chapter 8: A Day in The Park

Summary:

Uhhhh Izuku wakes up and the events that follow (maybe Nezu??)

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Izuku started to wake up… Ow… everything hurt, but nothing seemed to be broken… How? He had fallen at least two stories. Izuku started to open his eyes, after a bit of adjusting to the bright lights of the room he saw… Recovery Girl? Nearby, doing some paperwork, and…

“Mom?” Izuku asked.

“Oh! Izuku you scared me! You were out for hours!” Inko said, her voice filled with Worry.

Izuku slowly sat up. “How badly was I hurt?” Izuku questioned.

“Few broken bones, you were impressively intact, and then your body started repairing itself with some ink..? I didn’t have to do any of the healing.” Recovery girl responded.

“That makes sense…” Izuku mumbled to himself.

Recovery girl stared at him in curiosity before going back to her paperwork.

“You are free to leave now.” Recovery girl said curtly, clearly ready to not have another teenager in her office overnight.

Izuku nodded and got out of the bed, in which all the movement was making his mom worry, but Izuku didn’t quite notice, the inky blackout curtains over his brain were clouding his thoughts.

When Izuku made it home he immediately went to lay on his bed, which was covered in black sheets, they used to be Allmight patterned but they had been soaked with ink over the years.

The next morning Izuku’s mom had laid out a bento full of Katsudon, his favorite meal, for him to take to training with Kacchan.

Izuku grabbed the bento and put it in his yellow backpack and got into his gym clothes, some breathable shorts and his light blue T-shirt that had T-shirt on it in English, a great laugh for others that spoke the language.

Izuku ran down to the nearby park which had an outside gym.

“What took you so long, Deku?” Katsuki asked.

“I forgot to set my alarm.” Izuku said sheepishly.

Katsuki rolled his eyes and started to do pull ups on the bar.

Izuku followed suit, it was a relief to get his mind off of everything.

“Hey, let’s break for lunch.” Katsuki said after about two hours of training on different machines.

Izuku nodded and got off of the station he was at.

The two of them sat down and started to eat their packed bentos.

“The acceptance letters are supposed to come in the mail tomorrow, want to open them together?” Izuku questioned.

Katsuki nodded.

Eventually the sun started to set and Izuku and Katsuki parted ways.

Izuku made dinner and set some on a warm plate for his mom.

Then Izuku went to bed, this time without a night light.

Notes:

Thanks for reading! I am excited for the next chapter! I have so much planned! Baiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 9: A Happy Day in Hell

Summary:

INK DEMON (I dunno what else to say) I guess the first line works Izuku woke up, but not in his bed, he was in the inky depths of his mind.

Chapter Text

Izuku looked around, the studio was now starting to fill with ink and Ben- The Ink Demon started to lead him down though a broken opening… Just like the one he had seen Henry go down all those years ago. However, this time Izuku wasn’t The Ink Demon, he was himself, following The Ink Demon. The Ink demon had definitely changed, now his form was smaller and seemingly more docile, not the rage bubbling beneath that voice Izuku heard in his mind.

Eventually, after many twisting hallways and a flight of stairs, the pair found themselves on beams above the ceiling of the studio. Izuku saw pipes that were slowly dripping and also heard two voices, one he recognised and one he didn’t.

“Henry..?” Izuku whispered, more to himself than anyone.

Bendy looked up and nodded, while the ink demon quietly mumbled something in his head.

Izuku was meaning to be quiet, he really was, but he couldn’t quite tell that to the decaying wooden beam underneath him. One second he was perched on the beam with Bendy nearby, and the next? Well there was now a hole in the ceiling and he had managed to land right in front of Henry, who didn’t look a day older than he had seen him when he was only five.

“Oh Bendy-” The unknown voice exclaimed, he was wearing a mask of Bendy’s face, yellowed pants and suspenders over his bare inky black chest, he was also wearing black boots, or what Izuku could only assume was black because they too, were covered in ink.

Izuku sat up and cleared the ink off his eyes, as if that would do him any good.

“Wait… Izuku?” Henry questioned, only faintly remembering the small child, as that was so long ago, and the child did not appear when Henry was reset.

“Yeah?” Izuku looked up at him.

“You’re so much older?” Henry looked very confused.

“Well it’s been ten years.” Izuku responded.

That made Henry look even more confused but he brushed it off.

The unknown man looked at Izuku.

“My name is Sammy, Sammy Lawrance.” The man, Sammy, said.

Izuku nodded. “I’m Izuku, Izuku Midoriya.” Izuku responded.

“Do you also believe that The Ink Demon will set us free?” Sammy questioned.

“I mean… I guess? I don’t know much about him.” Izuku felt a little awkward at the question, but what was worse was the yelling that had suddenly started in his mind.

”YOU FELL? YOU WRETCHED PIECE OF RUBBISH! BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME YOU SWINE!” The Ink Demon yelled in Izuku’s head.

“I’m going to go find something to clean up my face.” Izuku fibbed.

Henry and Sammy nodded, which let Izuku leave to go find The Ink Demon again.

Izuku found his way back up into the ceiling and walked along not rotting beams until he saw the faint outline of Bendy.

”We aren’t fully in the machine, if we were then I would not be stuck in this idiotic childish body!” The Ink Demon sounded extremely annoyed to Izuku, but the Bendy form was crying.

Izuku sat next to the bendy figure and gently patted his head, making the creature calm down. He was probably reacting to The Ink Demon’s yelling.

Izuku and Bendy sat there for a while.

“Where is The Ink Machine?” Izuku asked.

”Most likely in some basement somewhere, seeing as GENT took it back.” The ink demon responded.

“What is GENT?” Izuku asked.

“That is a question for another time.” The Ink Demon said curtly.

Izuku reluctantly nodded.

“When will I wake up?” Izuku asked.

“When you’re needed in your reality. But next time I will be with you, I have fixed that part of the seal keeping me away from your mind.” The Ink Demon responded.

Izuku nodded and continued to pat Bendy on the head, silently enjoying the moment… until the two of them got sprayed with ink from a pipe, which flung them out of the ceiling and into a room crawling with disfigured ink creatures.

”Lost ones.” The Ink Demon muttered in annoyance.

The creatures suddenly looked up and ran at the two of them.

Bendy handed Izuku a… sword? It was made of ink, yet seemed solid, as if made in a cartoon.

Izuku didn’t have time to question and promptly swung the sword at the lost ones, The Ink Demon giving him directions in his mind, telling him who, when, and where Izuku should hit, even using ink to reinforce Izuku’s strength to better take down the lost ones.

When the lost ones stopped attacking so as not to be killed, Izuku picked up Bendy as if he was a toddler, balancing him on his hip, and made a run for it.

When Izuku was in a room that made him waist deep in ink he slowed.

”I believe it is time for you to leave, Izuku, you have proven yourself well.” The Ink Demon Praised.

Izuku then fell into the ink.

Notes:

Hiiii! Thanks for reading! I really enjoyed this chapter (I know it might not be very close to lore but Izuku is in another area, he isn’t reliving all the events… yet).

Chapter 10: A Normal Day

Summary:

Letters!! Also known as I suck at writing, also the notes are a compilation of at least three months, don’t listen to them (Mostly)

Notes:

I will probably make this two different days because I want to do alternating chapters and I don’t think The Ink Demon will try to contact Izuku in his dreams and lead him into the ink world at this time. WOAH!!! Just noticed, but It has officially been over a YEAR of writing this!! Thank you to all my readers! Kudos to you! Sorry this is out later than I thought. I still have a scene to go at the moment and I got sidetracked!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Izuku woke up with a start, his bed sheets were soaked, which was hard to see as they were stained black

Izuku looked around, the room was dark, and his clock read 4:14.

Izuku picked up his sheets and felt how drenched in ink they were, slick with the stuff. It was somewhat sticky, almost like it was trying to trap him.

Izuku got out of bed and changed into fresh pajamas. Then, he made his way down the stairs to get a drink of water.

As Izuku sat down at the table with his glass of water, ink dripped down onto his pajamas, it was a lot more than usual, so Izuku went into the bathroom to take a look at himself. Izuku turned on the light and saw himself in the mirror, his horns seemed a bit longer and his hair had stuck itself flat against his head, his curls flat against his face, like curled spikes. Izuku decided to take a shower, to get himself clean, at least for now. When Izuku got out of the shower he touched his horns, solid all the way through.

Izuku sighed and left his hair alone.

Izuku tried to fall back asleep over the next three hours and just couldn’t… Then, while he was looking out the window he saw the mail truck and immediately got out of bed and changed into his casual clothes.

When Izuku could see the mail truck drive off he ran down the stairs of his apartment complex, and opened his mailbox.

Izuku grabbed out the singular letter in the box, sealed with the UA emblem, and ran as fast as he could over to Kacchan’s house.

Izuku knocked on Kacchan’s door.

“Kacchan!!!” Izuku called.

Two seconds later, Katsuki opened the door, looking as pissed as ever.

“What do you need at 7:45 in the morning?!” Katsuki asked in annoyance.

“Letters!!” Izuku exclaimed. “I already got yours from your mailbox!”

Katuski looked at him for a second before reluctantly taking the letter with his name on it and walking into his house.

Izuku followed Katsuki and the two boys sat on the couch.

“...Who first?” Izuku asked.

“You, you’re the one who came over.” Katsuki responded.

Izuku nodded and slowly opened his letter, a small disc came out and he set it down on the table, a projection of All Might projected out of his letter.

“I AM HERE!! To tell you that you are accepted into UA’s very own Hero course!” All Might said.

“You! Young… Midoriya! Are the second highest scorer with 76 points! You got 46 villain points, and a secret point value for rescuing! 30 rescue points for you!” All Might explained. “You will be in UA’s very own class 1-A!”

Izuku smiled as the video cut off.

“Kacchan! I did it!!” Izuku exclaimed.

Katsuki rolled his eyes. “Of course you did, you were training with me, the best!”

Izuku laughed. “Open your letter Kacchan!”

Katsuki reluctantly obliged and opened his letter, getting a similar screen of All Might saying he had made it in with 77 points, all villain. He too would be put in class 1-A.

“Kacchan! We’re in the same class!” Izuku cheered.

Katsuki rolled his eyes at Izuku's enthusiasm. “Damn right we are.”

Izuku’s tail swayed happily behind him.

“Did you eat anything this morning?” Katsuki questioned.

“Oh, ummm… No.” Izuku replied.

Katsuki sighed. “Let’s get you some breakfast, nerd.” Katsuki grumbled.

Izuku nodded. “Thanks Kacchan!” Izuku smiled.

Izuku and Katsuki worked together to make breakfast, and made sure to make enough for Mitsuki and Masaru.

Simple Miso soup, rice, some grilled fish, and pickled vegetables.

Izuku set the table and Katsuki went up to wake up his “Old Hag and Old Man.”

Mitsuki came down first, she carried a very unhappy Katsuki… Which quickly turned into a fight because of their explosive personalities.

Masaru came down shortly after, and tried to calm the two’s commotion.

Izuku smiled softly and sat down at the table.

“Oh! Izuku! It’s been a while since you’ve been over for breakfast.” Mitsuki commented.

Izuku nodded. “I’ve been busy,” he explained.

Mitsuki nodded and pushed Katsuki to sit at the table.

Katsuki huffed and sat down at the table.

Izuku smiled at their dynamic, even if it was a bit… explosive at times.

“So, Izuku. Has Katsuki been behaving?” Mitsuki asked.

“Oh! Yes, Kacchan has been very helpful in training… though he can get a little angry sometimes.” Izuku vindicated.

Mitsuki nodded, “Good. He should learn from you, damn kid could use a few manners.”

Izuku smiled, “I think Katsuki simply needs to be reminded to use them.”

“Taking her side now, nerd?!?!” Katsuki exclaimed.

“Let’s just eat,” Izuku redirected.

The three of the Bakugos all nodded before everyone moved to eat their breakfast.

Occasionally someone would talk about UA, quirks, training, but overall the table was fairly quiet.

Eventually they all finished their food and Izuku helped Masaru clean up the dishes, and the two of them discussed Mitsuki and Katsuki as the two were fighting in the other room… again.

When Izuku finished cleaning up he decided it was time to get back home, so he said his goodbyes to the Bakugo family and returned to his house, Inko was working a day shift at the hospital, so Izuku made his own lunch and started dinner so it would be ready for when his mom got home.

Izuku started to make a simple curry. He chopped up carrots, potatoes and onions before putting them in a pot with some leftover chicken from two days ago. After that he added in water and waited for it to simmer before adding in a curry roux block and mixing it up. He put rice on two different plates and spooned curry onto both of them before setting the table.

Just a few minutes after Izuku had set the table Inko got home, she opened the door and set her bag down on the front table.

“Welcome back, mom!” Izuku called.

Inko smiled, “Well thank you, I see you’ve made dinner already.”

Izuku nodded and the two of them sat down. They discussed random things about their day until Izuku remembered his UA letter.

“I got accepted into UA,” Izuku commented.

“Really? I am so proud of you! When do you start, do you need your uniform?” Inko immediately launched into excited questioning.

The two of them talked about the logistics for what seemed like hours before they both retreated to their bedrooms and fell asleep.
(Writing Inko is hard sorry)

Notes:

Fun fact, I almost forgot they had food, like writing Izuku and Katsuki leaving and they didn’t even eat. Also this is gonna be a short chapter because I don’t have anything to write until after the next chapter, so enjoy the arguing breakfast scene (I do not want to break my night and day cycle so hopefully more plot next chapter and the chapter after that.)
ANNOUNCEMENT: If anyone wants something from a specific fandom, like an idea or something, that’s why I made this fic actually, but I am open to any fandom suggestions, and I might (When I actually finish some) get around to making one. Just leave a comment on what you might want a crossover, or a themed fic to be (Or write one yourself!) (:

Notes:

Hi! The next chapter is in progress!!!! This one was short but I tried to cram background information into it as much as possible!!!! Hope you enjoyed! (This is my first one)
