Chapter Text
Have you ever wondered if your fate is tied to those in another world?
Well. Even if you haven't, you're reading this because you wanted to see anime characters meet each other. Luckily, I have found an interesting bunch of characters whose meeting might just change how their fates play out.
-Izuku POV-
I had just woken up that day and found a key next to my bed. I had this urge to take it and unlock a nonexistent door. "Izuku, dear! It's almost time to go to the quirk doctor!"
"Coming Mom!" I responded. Dad works overseas so he couldn't bring me and mom today, but that's ok, because he'll be back on Sunday to celebrate my quirk! I quickly got dressed and ran out the door. I can't wait to get my quirk! Then I'll be able to be just as strong as All Might, and be the Number 1 Hero with Kacchan!
"You should give up." That's what the quirk doctor said.
"I'm sorry." That's what mom said when we got home, when I asked her if I could still be a hero.
The key on my bed called out to me. "I'll help you" it said, "there are friends that will help you get there" it whispered.
I picked up the key. It's head was as dark green as my hair. It's body as golden as the sun. On the head, two green rabbit ears and silver things I'm pretty sure we're teeth on one side, the words 'My Hero Academia' on the other.
I closed my eyes and imagined a door, I placed the key into the keyhole, unlocking it. I opened my eyes in time to watch the door I imagined form in front of my eyes. It swung open and a bright light shone through. A logical part of my brain said to call mom, to tell her what happened, but I didn't. I did something that would be the starting point for alot of changes in my life.
I walked in.
-Atsushi's POV-
This was the first time I was in the cell. The first of many. But there was something that felt off about the cell. Not the part of me that told me it was unfair. Not the part of me that wanted to escape. It was a part of me that was drawn to a key, a key that was in the cell.
I used it to try and unlock the cell. After all, that's what keys did, unlock stuff. I was caught and beaten for it. The headmaster broke the key and said that I was a theif. Someone who stole for selfish reasons.
I didn't steal the key, I wanted to say, but I didn't say it. I looked back at where I found the key. Instead of the empty hole I thought I'd find, I saw a key. I took it out of the hole and carefully examined it.
It's body was gold. It's head was grey with blue borders. There was a white tiger engraved on one side and the words 'bungou stray dogs' on the other.
"Close your eyes, Atsushi. Imagine a door. Use me to unlock the door." The key instructed. I followed the instructions, my instincts telling me it was a good idea.
I opened my eyes to a bright light that came from an opened door that wasn't there before. I walked in because what else was I supposed to do in this situation? Tell my 'parents'?
I walked in to room. In it was a television, a couch, doors to other rooms and a hallway leading to who knows what. I looked around as other doors opened up. I saw a boy with green hair and freckles walk through one, a boy with black hair walk through another, a boy with pink hair, a boy with yellow hair, a boy with yellow hair and whiskers, two other boys with black hair and a girl with orange hair walk through the others.
"Hi!" The girl with orange hair said, "my name's Emma!"
-Izuku's POV-
Here is what I understood once we all sat on the couch.
1. We were all four.
2. We came from different universes.
3. Some of us have powers and
4. Most of us speak different languages.
We could only understand each other's names. Emma-kun speaks English. Nakajima-kun, Kageyama-kun, Denji-kun and I speak Japanese. Luffy-kun speaks a mix of Japanese and Brazilian that he calls 'Eestarune' (Eastern, Izuku just hears this). Mash-kun speaks some weird language that I never heard. Natsu-kun speaks a language that sounds alot like growls and grunts but (somewhat) writes in Japanese. Uzumaki-kun speaks a mix of English and Japanese called Kono.
For the next few hours we made up hand signals to communicate with Mash-kun. "Guys! I found sign!" Emma called to us. I looked over to what Emma was pointing at and, sure enough, there was a sign with alot of words.
"You can read this Emma-kun? Is my laang-oo-age." I questioned. It turns out that the words on the sign change language based on what the viewer is most comfortable reading. On it read:
'Hello children. In other timelines you never learn of your connection to others, but you do here. There are some house rules to this place.
1. You can travel from universe to universe through your keys, but you have to use this place as a bridge.
2. Unless you have deemed them worthy, no one else is allowed here but you.
3. This place is a secret.
4. Others are linked to you but they will only join at the right time.
5. You cannot reject this link.
6. 3 hours in this place is 1 hour in each your individual worlds.
7. All of your pain is connected. If one of you gets hurt, all of you will feel it and know who it's from.
There will be more rules as time passes.
With best regards,
A friend'
