“Esther turned Abaddon into a cat!” Ben said before (gently) slamming his head on the kitchen table in defeat.
“DUDE, I was getting there! You can’t just drop a bomb like that without any lead up!”

After a spell goes wrong, Abaddon is no longer trapped in the body of a 9 year-old, rather he is trapped in the body of a kitten. Much to Katherine’s dismay, her and Nathan are stuck keeping the (even smaller) demon out of trouble, while Esther tries to reverse the spell.

They started back on the trail to the hotel. Nathan kept his grip tight on the boy, feeling relieved he took such a long walk through the forest. He couldn't imagine what would have happened if this kid was left there for however much longer he would have been. “Say buddy I never caught your name.” The boy looked confused again, Nathan had a feeling he would be seeing that expression a lot on the kid “Is it possible to throw names?” Nathan chuckled “No I was just asking you what your name was.” The boy looked at Nathan with suspicion “Tell me your name first new building owner.”
“It’s Nathan!”
After a moment of silence the kid finally answered “...Mine is Abaddon.”

AU where after Nathan finds Abaddon he treats him like the child he denies he acts like and learns more about him in turn, leading to Nathan wanting to stay for him, at least a little longer.

Demons do not need sleep. That is what Abaddon claimed, and was constantly irritated with having to correct those around him. He shouldn't need sleep.....if only his vessel would stop betraying him in that aspect.
