Chapter 1: Day 1: Insects

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

It had been a week since the accident and he was still in a coma. Yet here Danny was, standing in the forest, only the noise of an incessant tapping from little beetles gather around his feet and the flap of the wings of moths.
When he had first awoken, it had been at his bedside. He looked down upon the body he once called his own, laying limply while connected to various machines. No one around him noticed him standing there, not his mother, not his father, not even Jazz.

At least they seemed to be worried about him, his father looked thinner, Jazz looked as if she hadn’t slept in days, and his mother paced through the room, her steps the only organic sound among the electronic beeping the machines his body was strapped to.

Strangely, he didn’t feel anything while standing in a room full of his loved ones, worried that he wasn’t going to make it. There was an emptiness in him, no emotion, no goals, nothing. He felt no love for those surrounding him or fear that he was staring down at his body. He couldn’t even feel the cold AC air around him.

So he left, he left the room and then, left the hospital. Not a soul nor light was around as he walked down those dark streets, away from the town he once called home. The further he went the more empty he became, till he arrived in the middle of a heartless forest, with only moth and beetle as his company.
Days passed as he stood there, with no meaning nor love, only a hollow feeling and the sound of tapping and wings.

Notes:

The bugs in the story are specifically the Death’s-head moth, which are considered omens, and Deathwatch beetle, which makes a tapping noise and is believed to mean someone will die.

Chapter 2: Day 2: Wish

Chapter Text

“If you had to make a wish with Desiree, what would it be? Tucker asked randomly through the comms as he sat in front of his mom’s cafe.

A chorus of groans could be heard over the intercoms.

“Come on guys, I am bored!! There's only so many cookies a man can eat before he gets tired!!” he argued, “and you guys said I’m not allowed to use my PDA!”

“That's because we're on a stake-out,” Sam rebutted on the other side of town. “We can’t have you getting distracted and missing Desiree!”

“Ohh really?!?! Because it sounds like you're at a concert!”

“We’re supposed to blend in so that she doesn't think we’re looking for her!! Why else would a person like me be outside at noon?”

“HOW DID I SUPPOSED TO LOOK NORMAL WITHOUT MY TECHNOLOGY?”

“Is this really what your stake-out are like?” Valerie asked, switching off the main channel to speak to Danny privately as she soared through the sky above Amity Park.

“Well, we typically don’t do stake-outs,” Danny said as he sped through Amity in his ghost form, trying to find a spot that would trigger his ghost sense. “Most of the time, if a ghost wants to mess with the public, they’d make it known. However, ghosts like Ember, Spectra, and Desiree are more subtle since they get their power from people.”.

“Hmm, I see.”

After a few seconds of silence, Danny finally spoke up again. “What would you wish?”

“Oh jeez, really?” She chuckled.

“I mean, yeah, I am curious.”

“Well, I wouldn’t make a wish even if my life was at stake, but if it was someone else like my dad at stake, I’d probably just ask for a full ride to college.”

“Smart”

“Thanks, what about you?”

“Isn’t it obvious?” Danny joked, “I’d wish for top surgery.”

Suddenly, Danny’s ghost sense triggers, and a poof of green smoke appears around him.

“Aah!” he shouts as the smoke envelops him.

“Danny?! What’s wrong?” Valerie hurriedly asked as she sped down to where Danny was.

When she got down to where he was, all she was met with was an extremely confused Danny.

“What happened?” she asked

“I haven’t a fracking clue,” he responded, standing like a wet cat, grabbed by the scruff of its neck.

“Huh,” Valeria said as she did a quick sweep around the area but found nothing but the remnant ectoplasmic particles.

“There’s nothing here; I think she just granted a wish.”

“Granted a wish? Who’s wish?”

“....”

“....”

“Dude check”

Chapter 3: Day 3: Invisible

Summary:

Tw: Depressive thoughts

Notes:

I made it a personal challenge to get one of these out everyday on the right day, so to do that I had to cut it a little short. I'll continue it at a later date when I have time but for now this all I got. Anyway here's the story!

Chapter Text

Sometimes being able to go invisible had its perks. Shocking, I know.

It wasn’t something Danny used often, though. He didn’t know why, but being invisible for too long made him feel worried that if he stayed like that for too long, he would be able to become visible again.

But right now, he doesn’t care about that. Right now, disappearing forever doesn’t feel like such a bad idea. Right now, he doesn’t care that people will miss him. Right now, he wouldn’t mind disappearing.

That’s why Danny was currently invisible on the roof of Casper High at 4 in the morning. It was exhausting staying awake from dusk to dawn with only 10ish minute naps during class as he watched his grades drop further and further. Not to mention, he still had to deal with bullies and detention.

And what did he get out of this? Maybe a little bit of praise? A break? A feeling that he was actually doing good for the place he called home?

Nothing.

He got nothing.

It was infuriating. He worked his ass off for a place that didn’t appreciate him. Why was he even still here if this is how he would be treated-

Skulker landed on the roof behind him. He stared at the space where Danny was with a concerned look, as if he could see him there.

“Welp… are you there?” He said cautiously, taking a hesitant step forward.

After a short mental debate on whether he should reveal himself, Danny let the invisibility fade before turning around and stepping toward him.

“How could you tell where I was? I thought even ghosts couldn't see other ghosts when they were invisible, or does your suit give you special vision or something?” He joked, trying to hide his emotions.

“Ghosts can feel other ghosts emotions.”

“What?”

“Some ghosts aren’t powerful enough to speak, even Ghost Speak,” Skulker explained, “so to communicate, they surround themselves with an aura of their emotions.”

“…”

“It is a very common form of communication in the Ghost Zone, as it helps signify intent and decreases miscommunication.”

“How come I haven’t been able to sense other ghost emotions?”

“Air doesn’t conduct emotions as well as ectoplasm does; however, when a ghost feels a large amount of emotion, it causes them to produce more ambient ectoplasm, which allows them to express their emotions better.”

“Oh,” the floor started looking very interesting to Danny.

“Come sit with me,” Skulker said as he sat down on the ledge of the roof.

Danny weighed his options: should he run or sit? If he sat, then he’d have to talk about his emotions with a person who'd said he wasn’t to skin Danny and use him as a rug. But if he ran, Skulker might chase after him to talk, or maybe he would escape, but what about the next time they’d meet?

Danny decided the path of least resistance was probably the best option, so he plopped down right next to Skulker and stared out at the town he knew so well as they began to talk.

Chapter 4: Day 4: Wander

Summary:

Tw: Mention of character death, Unhealthy(?) coping mechanism

Chapter Text

The Ghost Zone was incredibly vast. You could explore it for a thousand years and still find new places. It made sense why it was so big; almost every single person who had ever died, plus a few extra, called the Ghost Zone their home.

So Danny took it upon himself as a challenge to explore as much of the Ghost Zone. I mean, he has all the time in the world; why not use some of it to explore?

Through his travels, he visited everywhere. He attended a Women's Writers Convention, where he met Murasaki Shikibu, Mary Shelley, Jane Austen, Sappho, and more. He visited Mesopotamia and gave Gilgamesh a copy of the first volume of One Piece. He called Napoleon short. He played with Laika and asked her what she thinks of space. He met Hector of Troy, who talked about the reason he fights: to protect those he loves. He found Asgard and played a prank on Loki.

As he was traveling to the next location, where or whenever that might be, he saw a figure approach from behind him.

It was Vlad with the Infi-Map. He looks tired.

“Daniel-”

“Don’t,” he doesn’t want to have this conversation.

“I am not here to talk to you about them; I know you’re not ready for that. I just want you to know that my door is always open for you when you are,” Vlad said, as if in the time in which Danny had left he had managed to grow a heart. “And I know I am probably the last person you’d like to hear that from, and I get it, but I still want you to know that you will always have a place to come back to.”

“...Thank you, Vlad.”

“Don’t mention it.” Vlad smiled kindly in a way that could have been seen as genuine if Danny was feeling a little less pessimistic and left.

After Vlad left, Danny stayed there for a second, not moving, not breathing, not thinking, before he turned around and went to find something new to distract him.

Chapter 5: Day 5: Nails

Chapter Text

Danny messed up, and now the consequences of his action have come to reap.

This morning, while brushing his teeth, he realized his canine had almost tripled in size, and the rest of his teeth sharpened and grew too. Then later in the day, while he was fighting Johnny, he accidentally popped one of his tires when his fingers turned into claws. Johnny was really pissed at him, but when he saw how confused and concerned he was about his fingers literally turning into monstrous-looking claws, he calmed down a bit and grumbled something about how it was probably ghost puberty and he should learn how to control that so it doesn’t happen again before he left.

After Johnny left, Danny went to class early since Sam's parents took her on a vacation for the holidays and Tucker was sick. No one was there, so why not check out his new additions?

While his teeth were permanent, his claws were retractable, even in his human form, kind of like a cat. He decided to experiment with them, showing them, then rectrating them, showing them, then rectrating, and on and on.

He was so enamored with his claws that he didn’t realize when a person walked into the room. However, he was quickly made aware as Paulina ran over to him, grabbed his hands, and just stared at his claws. She started looking between them and him with a sharp look, as if she were piecing everything together.

After what felt like eternity, Paulina finally spoke up.

“After school, you are going to my house,” she said in a way that left no room for argument.

Flashback to the present day: he was walking to Pualina’s house with her, Star, and Valerie. He wanted to make a break for it, but Valerie would probably tackle him. It felt like he was marching to his grave.

Finally, he made it to Pualina’s house, and they all went upstairs to her room before Paulina shut the door and locked it, leaving Danny to their mercy.

“Show them your nails." Paulina ordered, and hesitantly, Danny complined; however, he only showed his human nail.

“NO,” Paulina grabbed him by the arms and pulled him closer to her. “Show them what I saw before I scratch up your face with mine.”

“Okay okay!” Danny said worriedly as he jumped back. Paulina was scarier than any ghost, god, or government agent he had every face.

Slowly, he brought up his hands and showed off his claws. The three girls stared at them and him with indescribable expressions, and all Danny could do was hope and pray that they were feeling merciful.

Suddenly, Star broke the silence by running up to Danny and grabbing one of his hands before exclaiming,

“Oh my god, your nails are so cute!!!”

“That’s what I thought!” Paulina agreed as she rushed to grab his other hand. “But I knew I could make them look cuter, so I just had to grab him so that we could give him a manicure!!”

Valerie, who had been the most skeptical and sympathetic to Danny, was still quietly staring at him and finally spoke up, “Hey, Danny, your nails weren’t able to do that yesterday, right? What happened?”

“Uhh… I have been drinking ectoplasm.”

“Why???” Valerie and Paulina stared at him dumbfoundedly, but Star took that as a perfectly valid reason.

“It, um, keeps me awake? It’s kind of like Monster.”

“Does it taste like Monster?” Valerie said, still concerned but understanding.

“No, it tastes like battery acid.”

“Who do you know what battery acid tastes like-” “Is that why your teeth look like fangs too?” Star cut Paulina off.

“Oh yeah, I think.”

“Okay, cool, whatever,” Paulina said dismissively, “now can we give you a manicure?”

“Uh, sure, I guess.”

All three girls celebrated as they all got ready to fix up Danny’s claws.

Chapter 6: Day 6: Immortal AU

Summary:

I wrote this last minute today cause I was procrastenating on it for too long so if it isn't too good thats why.

TW: Mention of past character death

Chapter Text

Danny hadn’t gone back to the land of the living in a very long time. There just wasn’t anything left for him there. All his family and friends were either in the Ghost Zone with him or gone, and ever since he became the Ghost King, no one has ever left the Ghost Zone with malicious intent.

But… it had been so long since he had seen the stars, the planets, the beauty of outer space.

He still remembers watching the stars with his father. He was crying all day because he couldn’t find his NASA water bottle anywhere, so to cheer him up, his dad drove him about 2 hours out of town to the place he claimed had the best view of the sky.

In the past, Danny remembered that while he still loved and respected his father, he always thought he had a few screws loose and was too often wrong. However, he had to say, it was the most beautiful sky he had ever seen. He saw so many stars, planets, and even space dust. Then his dad pulled out a telescope and a constellation map and started teaching Danny more and more about space. By the end of the night, he had forgotten all about the lost water bottle.

Danny reminisced on that sweet memory as he watched over his domain before deciding he wanted to go back to that spot and see the stars again.

So he did.

He found the nearest naturally occurring portal and went through it, not really caring for how the world had changed in his absence, and headed directly to his little stargazing spot.

Once he reached the spot, he finally decided to look around. Lots of things seemed to have changed, but that was expected; nothing stays the same.

After having his fill of the area around him, he finally decided to look up and tasted bittersweetness on his tongue.

Chapter 7: Day 7: Mind Control

Summary:

Sorry this is so short, today is my due date to submit my AP art portfolio so I was busy with that. I hope you still like it!!

Chapter Text

Danny changed when the circus came to town.
That dorky, nervous, and kind-hearted guy became someone completely different.
Muttering under his voice, twitching, stalking.
He says, as a performer, he must perform; he says that those who try to stop him must be ended.
Everyone hopes that by morning he’s back to normal, so until then, it's best to avoid him.

Chapter 8: Day 8: Style Change

Summary:

Now I am going to be honest with y'all, as someone who's writing these, I hadn't a clue what to do for this. But then I decided to show my english teacher what I have been doing and she suggested to change the mood of one of previous prompts, so I decided to run with that. I decided to rewrite day 1!

Chapter Text

It had been a week since the accident and he was still in a coma. Yet here Danny was, standing in the forest for god knows what reason, with beetles surring around his feet and moths flapping in his face.

When he had first awoken, it had been in the hospital right next to a comatose version of himself. He looked down at himself in confusion as he limply laid connected to a bunch of machines. As he looked around he realized no one seemed to be able to see him, not even when he did jumping jacks in the middle of the hospital room.

At least they seemed concerned, his father was without any cups of pudding, Jazz no longer looked her preen and proper, and his mother was practically pacing a hole into the floor, her steps contrasting to the noise of the machines, which beeping every 5 seconds.

Weirdly, he didn’t feel concerned as he stood in the middle of the room. Most emotions seemed to escape him. He felt no love for those fretting over him or fear that he was literally staring down at his body. Honestly? He couldn’t even feel the cold AC air around him.

So he left the hospital. Not a damn soul nor light was around as he walked down those dark streets, making him question what ungodly hour of the night it was. He kept walking till he ended up winding up in the middle of the god damn woods, with only moths flapping in his face and beetles surring and annoying him with their incessant tapping noise as his company.

Who knows how long he stood there, with not much care in the world, only a hollow feeling and the fight to keep the moths from smacking him in the face.

Chapter 9: Day 9: Hunger

Summary:

Sorry of missing a day y'all, I had work, apush studying and forgot about it. Hope y'all like it though, even if it is late.

Tw: Ghost Hunger

Chapter Text

Danny was starving.

It wasn’t that he hadn’t been eating, he ate about 10 whole pancakes this morning, but for some reason he was still starving. Nothing he consumed filled his hunger. Nothing stopped the emptiness in his stomach. The only thing that managed to keep his hunger at bay for even a little while was ectoplasm but even that didn’t keep him satisfied for long.

So he continued to starve, feeling as if his stomach was eating him inside out.

Until his next ghost battle, when for some reason the box ghost looked extremely tasty.

Chapter 10: Day 10: Mausoleum

Summary:

Y'all I had *FUN* with this one.

I didn't really know what to do with mausoleum, the first time I think I actually heard about it was in a book I read recently. So I decided since I have no other ideas, crossover time! This is for me more then anyone.

TW: This contains some spoiler from Scum Villain Self-Saving System's 2 vol, if you have not finished it and decided to read it anyways, don't cry to me when I spoil one of the funnest characters.

Chapter Text

When Danny awoke he was in a coffin. Which was relatively weird since he fell asleep in his bed.

Did someone think he died? Did they bury him? Why hadn’t Sam and Tucker stopped them?

Danny needed answers, so he quickly went intangible before rising 6ft off of his coffin and out of the ground to find… he was in mid air. He looked down and saw that instead of being underground, his coffin was on a pedestal of sorts.

Danny floated back to the ground and took a look around his surroundings. The room was dark but it looked like he was in a dungeon. Seeing as there was a coffin in it, a lot of precious items, like gold, silver, and gemstones, and that the walls were covered in a mural of some tough looking dude, Danny surmised he was in a mausoleum.

Since it didn’t seem to be his, he decided to leave this room and try to look for an exit. As he stepped out of the room, a weird candle turned on and emitted a low dark green glow. It didn’t seem to have any mechanism that would turn it on but something about it seemed strangely magical.

As Danny continued to observe the candles, thinking to himself which of his enemies would do this to him, he heard weird groaning noises. Looking past the candle into the hallway before him, Danny was a horde of what looked like zombies approaching him.

On instinct, he shifted into his ghost form to prepare for a fight. But as soon as he did, the candle next to him went out, and the horde stopped approaching, and began to just mill around.

Confused about the what just happened but also wanting the get the fuck out of there, Danny ripped the candle of the wall and began to fly over the zombies as he tried to find an exit. As he flew through the twists and turns of the mausoleum, which was starting to feel more like a labyrinth, Danny noticed a small light down one hallway.

Since the candles only lit up over certain circumstances, which Danny was theorizing to only light up if someone living was around, he sped over to the source.

Once he arrived, Danny realized it wasn’t another candle but light seeping through the crevices of a door. Even though he was a bit nervous about why someone might be down here, he was getting really scared being all by himself, so he shifted back into a human and took a deep breath before walking into the room.

Surprisingly, it was empty.

The only inhabitant seemed to be a green snake, which quickly slithered behind the coffin in the center of the room. Like the one Danny woke up in, this room was filled with precious items, a huge mural, and a coffin at the center. The only differences were that the theme of the items and decoration was different then the previous, which made sense since it was for a different person, and that there were torches lighting every inch of the room.

As Danny continued to look around the room in confusion, the coffin in the center suddenly began to open.

Slowly and slowly, it was opened by an invisible force, leaving Danny transfixed to the spot, horrified of what would come out.

Finally, the thing in the coffin sat up and began to speak,

“Immortal Master Shen Qingqiu, how lovely is it to see you-”

The thing, more specifically a handsome older dude in some kind of traditional asian dress (Danny should have paid more attention in history), looked over at him before a surprised look apearch across his face and he cut himself off.

“Umm… who are you?”

BITCH, WHO ARE YOU?!?!”

Notes:

Explanation for not SVSSS fans: The candles are called Last Breath Candle and are fueled by someones breath. The light brings the Blind corpses, which attacks any intruders when th lights are on.

Chapter 11: Day 11:Mutation

Summary:

I wrote this while sick and tired so sorry it aight the best.

Chapter Text

It didn’t seem too bad at first.

All it was was just some small rashes under his arms. They didn’t even hurt a lot!! But they got worse and worse and worse.

What had previously been just some small rashes turned into large, angry blisters that seethed with malicious intent. It felt as if something was trying to escape his body, and the pain confined him to bed for multiple days.

After days of just lying in bed in pain, strangle relief washed over him as if the pressure on his sides had finally been released. And with that release of pressure, Danny finally fell into a painless sleep.

The next morning, Danny didn’t feel any pain anymore, as if it had never even happened.

In excitement for a new day, he raced to his dresser, grabbing a fresh set of clothing, and began to get dressed. As Danny was dressing, he felt a little uncomfortable as he put his shirt on, so he decided to look in the mirror.

To Danny's surprise and horror, his body had grown two extra arms!

Chapter 12: Day 12: Time Travel

Chapter Text

“Sooooo Phantom, do ya have any siblings?” Kid Flash asked as he tried to make small talk with the newest recruit to the team.

A few days ago, Young Justice was called to a meeting by Batman where he introduced their new team mate, Phantom. Phantom was a tough looking dude, he was jacked and towered over them all, even Conner!

Batman didn’t give them much information about the guy but apparently John Constentine was the one who suggested him for the team since he needed “community service hours”.

The dude was currently drinking some soda next to the computer as Red Robin searched for any new info on their latest mission. He turned his attention away from the can, and stared at Wally, his red eyes piercing into his soul.

“Why?”

“Well we are all about to go on a mission together and none of us really know you so I think it’d be best if we all got to know you better,” that was half true. Mostly Wally was just being nosey, but the dude really did make everyone nervous since he was this really tough dude with blood red eyes and apparently was here because John Constentine said he needed community service hours???? Constentine typically say some wild shit, but what the fuck do you mean by community service? Wally knows you can’t use those for school, he’s tried, and what else gave you community service? Juvie and prison!!

Phantom stared at him hard for a few seconds, his eyes searing into the back of Wally’s skull before saying, “Okay fine”.

The answer surprised everyone in the room, I mean the guy had barely even spoken the last few days and had rejected every question about his personal life.

“Depending on how you see it, I have 2 to 4 siblings”

“Is your father a serial adopter too?” Tim joked.

“Yes and no”

“Huh?”

“It’s pretty complicated,” Phantom shrugged, seemingly deciding to end the conversation there and taking another swig of his drink.

However, Tim, out of annoyances of every attempt to get to know this jerk being thwarted and a bit of confidence his family was more complicated, decided to challenge Phantom’s statement.

“Ehh, it probably isn’t as complicated as my family, we got about 50 more siblings adopted each month, all with lots much trauma”

At this, Phantom narrowed his eyes at Tim.

“I see what your doing, your trying to get me to talk tell you guy more about my family by acting like yours are more insane”

“Am I?” Tim asked, trying to hide the shivers going down his spine from the way Phantom was staring at him.

Phantom to a huge swig of his soda, emptying it and throwing it into the garbage, before fully turning to Tim.

“You’re lucky I am always good for competitions, now sit down this is going to take a bit”

Tim gladly obliged and soon everyone sat around Phantom as if it were storytime in kindergarten.

“Okay, so at first I only had an older sister and my parents” Phantom began, “but then they died because of a mistake I made and I had to move in with my evil godfather”

Megan raised her hand and asked, “Isn’t a godfather someone who is very close to the family? Why would your parents choose an evil person?”

“‘Cause my dad was oblivious to this and though they were good friends even though the dudes tried to kill him multiple times”

“I see,” Megan lowered her hand, no less confused.

“There I went mad with grief and had him remove my humanity and tried to kill all of humanity”

“I think that was a bit of an overreaction,” Wally joked.

“You tried to kill all of humanity? Why weren’t we told of this when it happened?” Kaldur'ahm asked.

“That was in a different timeline, I was a big enough problem that they gods tried to kill the younger version of me to stop me, so to avoid dying, my younger version decide to try to defeat me and the only reason he did was cause I was underestimating him,” Phantom emphasized the last part because he had to stress he didn’t not lose to a 15 year old boy because he was weaker than him.

“What happened next?,” Artemis asked, completely inraptured in the story.

“I was then imprisoned for sometime before escaping, causing problems and then realizing that causing younger mean the same pain I experienced won't bring my loved ones back,” Phantom continued to explain, “so I am now going to therapy, doing community service, and got the majority of my powers taken away”.

“Is your therapist open to seeing new patients?” Konner asked.

“No, but this timelines version of my sister is and she has a lot of experience so I can give you her number instead”

“Sure, that’ll work”

“Okay,” Phantom said before writing her number down and handing it to Konner, “The thing is I can’t go back to living with my real parents because they don’t know that I am Phantom so I have to go back to living this timelines version of my godfather”

“You gotta be kidding me” Tim groans.

“Exactly what I said!!” Phantom put his arm up defensively, “Fortunately, this version is a little better, he is no longer tiring to kill my dad and has stopped chasing after my mom, he did clone the other of me and now there is a genderbent version of him but my godfather treats her like a princess and will not stop spoiling her, which I am also guilty of”

Phantoms continues to explain more and in the back of Tim's mind he remembers he was supposed to be doing something but honestly this conversation was too good to care.

“Anyways that's how I technically have 2 to 4 siblings, Jazz and Elle are permanently my sisters and I love them so much, and even though the other Jazz is technically the same as this Jazz, I still think of her as someone else, someone I miss dearly. Also if I considered this Jazz my sister, I guess I’d have to considered the other me as my brother”

“Damn bitch your family is crazy” Wally said, happy he finally managed to get through Phantom’s tough skin.

As they finished up their story time, the Zeta-tubes activated and Red Tornado and an upset looking Batman walked to the group.

“You all were supposed to leave thirty minutes ago”

Chapter 13: Day 22: Song Lyrics

Notes:

Hey do you guys remember Dannymay? Something that was about 2 months ago that I never finished? Well I did have one more piece to submit for it, the song lyrics prompt, but I messed up the dates and miss that day so I never ended l uploading it. But I really liked it so here have my super late Dannymay Day 22 submission!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Danny loomed over Dash as they stood in the empty church, breath coming from only one of them.

“I want you to repeat after me,” Danny whispered, and Dash could see the broken stained glass behind him.

“O-okay”

“Will you pray for me?” He spoke as he stared through Dash as if he were the transparent one.

“Will you pray for me?”

“When I'm gone?” Dash could swear that his eyes were glowing.

“When I'm gone?”

“Or until another Dash comes along?” Danny slowly looked away from him, through the door where they entered, to the graveyard where he lay.

“C-can you repeat that one?”

For a few seconds, Danny stood still, just staring out the door, the only sound being the thumping of Dash’s heart and his unstable breathing.

Then he started up again, quickly moving backward and towering over Dash, blocking out most of the light of the moon, and confirming to Dash that Danny's eyes were glowing neon green.

“Will you pray for me when I'm gone?” He boomed, “Or is this the eternal dark without a dawn?”

“Who will pray for you?” Danny pointed at Dash.

“Who will pray for me?” He wrapped his hands around his neck, feeling as if he were being strangled.

“When your body's gone?” The room was getting colder.

“When my body's gone?” It was getting much colder.

“This is the consequence for what you've done.” In the blink of his eye, Danny rushed at him

Notes:

Incase you couldn’t tell, this is the ending lyrics for the song “Nerdy prudes must die”. I had a brief obsession with it and I thought this song would fit Danny perfectly on vibes alone even if it did mean he had to act a little OCC. I hope you liked it!!!
