Summary
Alastor had always been a bit different from other Alphas, being a high-functioning sociopath would do that after all, but when Mimzy invites him out on the cusp of her heat to entice him into mating her his life changes.
His son is born and he marries her out of a sense of responsibility but it doesn't;t last long and they're divorced before Alfred is two years old. They settle on split custody and Alastor is at least comforted by the fact that she's taking care of their son properly so imagine his shock when he learns that she's been shipping him off to daycare the entire time she's supposed to have him.
