As you made your way back from campus, you decided to take a little detour through a nearby park since you didn't need to get back to the flat early for any reason. You had your headphones on, so you didn't notice the meowing of the cat behind one of the bushes until it jumped out in front of you.
You squealed, your hand tightening around your tote bag's strap as you took a hasty step back, to see the cutest, fluffiest little black cat padding it's way towards you. As you collected yourself from the scare, the cat nuzzled itself onto your shin.
"Awe!" You exclaimed, pulling off your headphones and crouching down. You were glad no one had seen your overreaction as you scratched the animal under the chin as an apology for screaming. The appreciative meow and happy little squint had your heart swelling, but as it opened its eyes again to look you in the face, you immediately thought of your boyfriend.
The cat's eyes were sharp, its gaze hardened and unwavering, the expression not matching its actions whatsoever. It stared you down intently, its eyes quite literally drawing you in. Just like Sukuna.
It continued to beg your attention, bumping it's head into your outstretched hand, and you stroked over its soft fur, smiling widely and giggling when it meowed happily. You spent quite a while there entertaining the cute little creature, and before you left to go on your way, you snapped a picture of it, and then with it.
