January 25, Sunday
Nene had been sitting on her bed playing animal crossing on her switch, which was nothing out of the ordinary. However, on this specific day she was eagerly awaiting a certain happy-go-lucky pink haired girl, Emu, for their monthly date. It was a silly idea that Emu had come up with, but they both ended up having fun each time. Nene suddenly heard knocking on her door, which the knocking had been in the beat of one of Wonderlands x Showtimes songs, which specified that Emu was there. Nene got up and opened the door, but quickly stumbled backwards once the shorter had jumped and clung onto her. “NENEE!!” she yelled out excitedly. Nene, in response, chuckled and set her down.
“So, Em’, what would you like to do today?”
“I have an idea!! We should walk to the park! Then we can swing- and go down a slide!!”
“Alright then, get walking” Nene replied with a soft smile, she was still getting used to being in a band, let alone having friends to hang out with; specifically, emu, the only girl she got really comfortable with.
“Nene!!! C’monnn lets goooo!” Emu exclaims with a jump in her step as she walks back out the door. The taller steps out of her thoughts and locks up the door, following emu on the trail to the park. As the two walked, Emu had started talking about some random interaction she had with a classmate; however, Nene wasn't paying too much attention, as she was just focused on admiring the other, commenting on small details to let the pink haired know she still cared. Nene had started getting lost in thought again, noticing all the small details about her dearest friend, any little freckle, accessory, any little thing that made the girl so unique, and beautiful? The taller quickly shook thoughts like that out of her head, seeing that they made it to the park. Emu ran over to the swings and Nene followed, sitting on the one next to her. The two swung and talked and ran/walked around until sunset, when a light snow started to fall, which they took as a sign to head back to their homes.
