Summary
Anne stood on top of the Wartwood palisade, looking forlornly into the jungle. How long has it been since she came here? Anne did not even want to know, far too long, she came with her two friends...who knew where they were right now.
The number of things that went wrong was almost impressive. They came here together, her, Sasha and Marcy. Anne hoped they could have just retrieved the box and left, but now, Anne could very well be the last human alive in Amphibia. With a deep sigh, Anne shook her head, turning her back to the unforgiving jungle that swallowed both of her friends. She had other duties she needed to tend to and until she was done, the fate of her friends would have to remain a mystery.
Note: This fic, while being part of a multi-fandom series, is solely Amphibia and completely separate from other fics plot wise, sharing only the world-building elements, aka being the same universe. The knowledge of the other fics in the series is not needed in any way. You will find a more detailed explanation at the beginning of the fic.
