Chapter 1: Part 1

Chapter Text

~Tora's POV~

The night of the masquerade ball, I had to deal with a situation in the kitchen between two cooks. Annoying as it was to deal with these servants of Lord Kamijo's, I was simply glad to be away from Master Kenji. He was being his usual bratty self and I couldn't stand it. Trading off with Sir Nori throughout the night was ideal for the two of us.

That was until Sir Nori came and informed me that Master Kenji was nowhere to be found. He had searched the whole throne room where all the guests were mingling. He even thought to check Master Kenji's room, in case the young master managed to slip out. Panic rose in my body, we had to find Master Kenji before Lord Kamijo got suspicious.

Checking the main door to the castle, it was still locked, so Master Kenji had to be within these walls. It was nighttime and even I knew of the spell Lord Kamijo put on these walls. They made one relive certain memories of their past, though the reason behind it was so that those wondering the halls at night would find their weaknesses within. It was done that way to keep the servants from escaping since the whole island became in ruins.

There was no other escape, so I took it upon myself to search the halls of this castle. Running into my own past memories, I found memories that I had once forgotten, but they didn't break my spirit, as I shut the door quickly and searched some more. Sir Nori said he would go back and search the third floor.

I knew I should have chosen to stick by Master Kenji's side for the whole night like Lord Kamijo wished of me, but then who would deal with servants? Sir Nori wouldn't, but says that the help need to learn their place and if he had to deal with it, they'd all be sent to the dungeon for the evening.

For an Angel, Sir Nori acted like the opposite of what Angels were described as. It shouldn't surprise me really. Who would dare reject their own loving kind to work under Lord Kamijo's command? Not I, if I had the choice.

I was just a young lad when Lord Kamijo and I crossed paths over 1800 years ago. I was dumb and naïve. Lord Kamijo was heavily injured, one would have surely died from the wounds he had on his body, and Lord Kamijo said he could grant me eternal life if I brought him a lady doctor. Poor old me fetched him my mother, a doctor’s assistant, not realizing what Lord Kamijo was and why he needed her.

After hearing a struggle, I quickly went to investigate, only to see the life drain from my mother's eyes. Lord Kamijo thanked me for doing as he asked and would grant me my wish. I was in shock seeing my mother dead before me, that Lord Kamijo's words didn't fully register to me till he had snuck behind me and began the process to turn me into a Vampire. From that day forward, Lord Kamijo promised to raise me like his own child and I did as he wished without realizing why I was so willing to do everything he said.

I had learned the art of controlling ones instincts, and learned to use the shadows to my benefit. Killing without a sound and leaving no trace behind, I became the perfect soldier for Lord Kamijo. Then he vanished one day, telling me he will seek me out when I have trained myself better as he could no longer teach me. From that moment on, I trained my body and mind to adapt, fight, and survive without needing another. Lord Kamijo must have been stalking me or something, because after I killed a group of humans without second thought, he reached out to me to join him on an island. It’s the exact island we are on now.

Lord Kamijo kept me and a few others close to him and we had to show who we were and what we had become. I learned I wasn't the only one he turned, but I was the only one to survive his trials and live, I was loyal to him from that moment on.

Years passed by, I was sent out to kill any who dared step foot on the island as Lord Kamijo conjured up magic and used it to build himself this very castle. When construction was complete, I was sent out on a quest to find him a young lady, but she had to be beautiful in his eyes. This was the most challenging mission for me at the time, I thought Lord Kamijo was beautiful and to find a lady with his beauty was next to impossible.

My first kidnapping, Lord Kamijo didn't approve of her. Killing her before me, Lord Kamijo's disappointment was taken out on me. It was the first time for me to be in bed with Lord Kamijo and I wasn't disappointed. The second kidnapping I did, I brought him a mother, just to see what his disappointment would accomplish for me. The result was the same, she was killed in front of me, which didn't bother me at all, and he took me to bed forcefully.

The third time I was sent out, I was told if I made another mistake, Lord Kamijo was going to cut off one of my fingers. I liked my fingers where they were, so I spent nights upon nights till I found exactly what he was looking for in a lady. Purity in place, blonde hair, blue eyes, slim, not skinny, tall, perfect teeth, and childbearing hips. Had he told me this the first time, I might have brought him exactly what he wanted and never realize my loyalty for Lord Kamijo was more than that, I really enjoyed sharing a bed for a night with Lord Kamijo.

Bringing him what he wanted, Lord Kamijo was pleased, and he turned her right before my eyes. Something different happened with her; her heart still had a beat as faint as it was, just like Lord Kamijo's. Then I was sent away, back to the mainland and Lord Kamijo would send word to me when he wanted me to return.

A few years passed, and I took it upon myself to learn a new set of skills, skills that would help me assassinate targets, especially in large groups. Using weapons wasn't something I was comfortable with, but by learning these skills with firearms, I better myself for Lord Kamijo.

When I was finally called back to the island, I found myself face to face with a young girl, the daughter of Lord Kamijo. I was tasked with looking after her. A child. I had never looked after a child in my whole life, but I tried to raise the child to the best of my ability. Lord Kamijo had conjured up another ritual by this time, I had no idea what for, but it seemed to have backfired on him. His very magic fused it self with the land of the island and strange things started to happen.

Lord Kamijo decided to create a Clan, calling it Red Dragons Clan. He no longer killed or wanted others killed when they came to the island. Instead, he turned a few of them, creating a group of what he called Blood Ties, and those he had turned would turn civilian humans on the island. That's when the detailed tattoos of a red dragon became etched on every member's back. I got mine, but I was not too fond of it. I did it for Lord Kamijo.

Because of the unique skills I had learned, I was sent out on small missions to assassinate certain members of Clans. There used to be many Clans, but with my hands and Lord Kamijo's orders, their numbers dwindled. And because of the loss of Clan leaders, more Rogue Vampires were around, and the End of Times War had begun. Angels descended, turning Vampires into humans. I fled back to Lord Kamijo to give a warning, a warning he already knew about, but wasn't afraid. I didn't understand it till it happened.

Angels arrived on the island, and the war broke out. None of the warriors that Lord Kamijo had created was affected by their ability to return them to humans. I didn't understand it till after when Lord Kamijo decided to gather the strongest of the Blood Ties members. He had created two new types of Vampires. Alphas and Omegas. I had been away from the island for so long, learning all this new information, I couldn't deny that I was envious. I was the only turned Vampire, but Lord Kamijo held me in a higher standing from the others. I was his favourite, at least that's how I had seen it, being naïve still. I did get special treatment compared to the others.

That's when Sir Nori joined us. He praised Lord Kamijo's ability to command such a force against Angels. He was a real kiss-up, and Lord Kamijo wasn't stupid to fall for it. I was sure he was going to kill the Angel right there, but he shocked me and a few others in letting him join the Clan. Sir Nori was a danger to me; he could turn me human at any given time, so I kept on my toes around him.

These memories from the past clouded my mind as I continued to search for Master Kenji. The final memory of Sir Nori joining the Clan was the last for me. I didn't want to relive my past anymore and I knew by now if I hadn't found Master Kenji in these halls by now, he wasn't here. Master Kenji was smart and he wouldn't dare let his memories get the better of him.

My next search happened on the second floor, where special guests would stay, and for tonight, all these rooms would be used by every guest who came for the masquerade ball. It would be the perfect place for Master Kenji to hide. Hide among others. Taking the chance, I opened each door with the master key I had. Most rooms were empty still, but only a handful were occupied by guests. I had to apologize, realizing none of them were Master Kenji. Sir Nori had finally joined me on the second floor and we stood there in silence together. We had no clue as to how Master Kenji escaped and we had no idea where Master Kenji would escape to.

Master Kenji could have escaped through a window, I had told Sir Nori, but he informed me he had checked every window outside already. They were all locked from the inside. It seems Sir Nori had the idea to make sure Master Kenji didn't escape out a window like he had done many times before.

It was time to inform Lord Kamijo of our failure. As I returned to the main floor, I passed the Clan Leader of the Blue Roses. Lord Marvin and his wife appeared unstable climbing the stairs, so I lent a helping hand. And as I turned around, Sir Nori was helping Celest of Calling River Clan to her room. Then more guests started making their way up the stairs. Something wasn't right, they all appeared to be unstable with slurring speech.

The last person I had to take care of was Lord Henry of Heavenly Arrow Clan. He eyed me up as I lent a hand to help him to his room. I didn't have a clue what was going through his head till he opened his mouth. He knew I killed their entourage that was escorting his heir, Jesse, from the Calling River Clans territory. There was nothing I could say, he was right and I don't regret doing it either. I was on a mission to hunt down Master Kenji at all costs.

Shutting him inside his guest room, Sir Nori walked over to me. Those white wings of his shouldn't exist; they made him appear like he was Heaven's gift to them, but he was far from being anything but evil. I gave him a nod and let him go first, we had to inform Lord Kamijo of Master Kenji's disappearance.

Entering the throne room, servants running about cleaning up the mess, we approached Lord Kamijo and his wife. That cunning bitch. I don't know how it was possible; maybe it was the cursed island's doing, but she had convinced me to plant my seed within her battered body for Lord Kamijo's sake. I should have known it wouldn't have worked as she wished to give Lord Kamijo a son. Ultimately, I was left to raise the boy once Lord Kamijo figured it out. Luckily, I wasn't punished for the deed; she was. As I had no time to raise him, I left him to be raised by his mother. It was a huge mistake on my part as the boy turned out to be spoiled like his mother and fed lies.

Standing before Lord Kamijo, I could see he was pleased with tonight's turnout and that whatever plan he had going on in his head was going as planned. Or so he thought, as Sir Nori and I had to give him the news about Master Kenji.

~End of Tora's POV~

Kamijo sat on his throne with a straight back, his graceful posture made him seem pleased with tonight. He had done it. He poisoned his guests, but not in the way they would have thought, had they known. Mixing his own blood into the blood wine tonight, he poisoned the wine with a high mixture of tranquillizers. It wasn't meant to kill his guests, only put them into a slumber for a few days. His ancient blood made the aroma of the blood wine alluring and drinking it made his guest want more of it.

“How successful was tonight, Sir Nori?” Kamijo's elegant voice called out to the Angel in the room.

The Angel looked up at the long, wavy, blond-haired man with violet eyes dancing with pleasure. He knew his words were going to change that look in an instant. “Your guests are in their rooms as we speak, Lord Kamijo.” Nori gave him a half-bow. “But, we do have a situation.”

As predicted, Kamijo's violet eyes narrowed at the Angel before him. “What situation?”

Tora knew what was coming and braced himself as he told Kamijo the news. “My Lord, it has come to our attention that Master Kenji is no longer with us.” Kamijo's aura seeped through the room fast like lightning. The servants dropped to their knees, Nori was on his knees now and Kamijo's wife was slumped forward in her tiny throne. Tora was the only one prepared for this outburst and still stood tall, though his knees seemed unsteady.

“Where the hell is that boy!” Kamijo unleashed another burst of fury. Tora remained standing as hard as it was to do so. Kamijo closed his violet eyes and Tora knew that he was searching every inch of the island in search of Kenji.

Minutes passed, and Tora was trying to breathe steadily as the pressure continued to come from Kamijo. When he saw Kamijo open his eyes, their seriousness told Tora that Kamijo hadn’t found Kenji. This was troublesome for him. If Kenji could be found on the island, Tora would only have to go and retrieve him, Kamijo would punish Kenji. Since it didn't appear that way, it meant punishment was going to be directed to Tora.

“Impossible!” Kamijo slammed his fists on his throne. “With everyone grounded, there should be no way for him to escape the island!”

Tora took in a sharp breath before asking. “What are you saying, My Lord? Everyone is grounded?”

“I haven't informed you of tonight's plan. Only Sir Nori knew.” Kamijo growled lowly, looking at Nori.

“I never said a thing, Lord Kamijo.” Nori pleaded slightly. “I knew the importance of tonight.”

Tora stood there, narrowing his eyes in Nori's direction, even though the Angel couldn't lift his head to see him do so. Since when did Nori know more about Kamijo's plan than he did? Of course, he figured Kamijo would reveal the plan to him eventually, but not like this.

“Sir Tora,” Kamijo could sense the uneasiness in Tora as he glared at Nori. “I kept this part of my plan between Sir Nori and I. I needed someone to rejuvenate my blood quickly. You see, the blood wine we served tonight has a high dosage of my blood in the mix, along with a poison to keep our guests sleeping for a few days. I needed to be sure that Master Kenji would indulge in the mixture, but it is clear that didn't happen. I knew you would put your foot down and keep Kenji from drinking it because of the alcohol content, Sir Tora.” He turned to look at Nori's kneeling body. “I just didn't expect Sir Nori to reveal my secret to Master Kenji. That would be the only reason he didn't drink.”

“I fed him drinks all night, Lord Kamijo.” Nori told him, trying to lift his head to look up at Kamijo. “Sir Tora can attest to that!”

“That I can, My Lord.” Tora was about to bow, but he knew if he did, he'd be dropping to his knees as well, so he only gave a small nod.

As Kamijo sat there, slowly his aura swept away, releasing his hold on everyone in the room. The servants were relieved to continue their clean up job and Nori stood up tall beside Tora. The two waited for Kamijo's orders. “With Master Kenji away, most likely escaped to the mainland somehow, I will need to come up with another step in my master plan.”

Tora glanced at Nori, before speaking. “Since it was supposed to be my full duty to look after Master Kenji, I will search for him, My Lord.” He knew Nori was to blame for letting Kenji out of his sight, but if he had just taken the duty on fully, Kenji wouldn't have escaped.

“No need, Sir Tora. I have other plans for you.” Kamijo's violet eyes narrowed darkly at Tora. “Sir Nori, you will have the job of taking those from the other Clans and putting them in the dungeon. I suggest doing it now.”

Nori nodded his head and bowed. He had a playful smirk on his face that didn't go unnoticed by Tora. He wasn't going to be punished for Kenji's escape, but Tora was going to get it instead.

Tora wanted to punch that smug look off of Nori's face but knew better. Fighting each other would only jeopardize himself. As fast and strong as he was, Tora just couldn't risk being turned human. All it would take is Nori getting the chance to place his hands on Tora's chest and heal him from being a Vampire.

“Before you go, Sir Nori.” Kamijo called out to Nori before the Angel could turn away. “Take the Lady here and lock her back up in her room.”

“Yes, Lord Kamijo.” Nori nodded and walked up to the throne to offer his arm to Kamijo's wife and leave the throne room with her. That just left Kamijo and Tora now in the throne room alone.

~Tora's POV~

Watching the elegant Renaissance attire man walk tall down the steps from the throne, I knew this wasn't good. It had been along time since I was punished and it was even longer since Lord Kamijo and I were in the same space alone. The last time I was punished, was in the throne room with the other advisors and we were all being whipped by Lord Kamijo. Now it was just me, alone with him.

That elegant smile of his appeared on his pale face, and it sent a shiver down my spine. I remained standing tall, I didn't want Lord Kamijo to see my weakness; my weakness was him. Lord Kamijo walked in a circle around me a couple of times before standing in front of me. I didn't expect it, but I didn't flinch either when he placed his hand on my cheek. I waited to hear words come out of his mouth, but they never came.

Faster than I could register, damn that Vampire Speed, Lord Kamijo slapped me hard across the face. It was no weak hit either, it had me turning my head to the side and sidestepping. I placed my hand on my cheek and looked up at Lord Kamijo. I couldn't show my anger, I had to just take the hit.

Looking down at me, Lord Kamijo reached for my face again. This time he grabbed my chin and forced me to stand tall in front of him. It wasn't hard to stand tall and be face-to-face with Lord Kamijo, we were close in height, but I always felt smaller around him. I reminded myself not to show my submission to him. That would only upset Lord Kamijo more.

Stepping closer to me, Lord Kamijo's cool breath against my ear, I listened to him whisper to me. He told me he knew my little pet was still alive. My pet? Hitaru! Lord Kamijo was talking about Hitaru. I refused to act surprised. Surprise that Lord Kamijo knew what I already knew. He complimented me on doing well training my pet to follow orders, but scowled me for letting go of the leash.

No, I thought what I did was fine, but Master Kenji came and flipped the whole house around. I did what I had to for Lord Kamijo; it was only a part of my assignment, but Master Kenji ruined it all, exposing everything. Rocko was only a toy; Hitaru was my true lover. Over these 400 years, no man would completely take my heart like he did. No man but Lord Kamijo. If Lord Kamijo asked me to be his lover, I would instantly drop Hitaru to be with Lord Kamijo. Lord Kamijo was my first lover, the only man I had ever submitted to.

Lord Kamijo pulled back and looked into my dark eyes with his violet ones. I wanted to reach in and kiss those lips. A kiss I have been wanting forever. However, the man before me was quick again, and punched me right in the gut with his other hand before scowling me for being worthless. I failed to keep Hitaru on a tight leash and I failed to keep Master Kenji in the castle.

Hunched over, there was nothing I could physically do to stop Lord Kamijo's onslaught of attacks on me. Lightning fast punches and kicks, I felt the pain radiating from every hit, but I never saw Lord Kamijo move as he rained more attacks on me. I fell to my knees, and he stood over me, like a stiff statue. The only way I knew Lord Kamijo was moving was the pain I was in. There was always a two-second pause between each attack.

I felt bones in my body fracture and break from attacks, I became riddled with so much pain, I could only fall over in the fetal position and continue to receive my punishment. It felt like Lord Kamijo had so much pent up aggression and I was the only one on the receiving end to take it all.

Not a tear left my eye, I wouldn't show weakness and I wouldn't beg him to stop. He needed to release everything that he kept pent up inside. I would gladly be there for him again to take it all out on me, as much as it scares me to be on the receiving end of his aggression. Being the living dead had it's perks.

I don't know how long I had laid on the floor of the throne room for, but it was like I blinked and everything stopped. Lord Kamijo was nowhere to be found, and what I caught from his lingering scent, it had been hours. I must have blacked out from my punishment. My body was stiff and sore, though my body was healing from the wounds. It had to have been hours then?

Sitting up on the floor, feeling sore all over, I reached into the pocket of my suit jacket and glanced at my phone. It had been hours since the masquerade ball had ended! My body had slowly healed parts of itself, a lot more needed to be done. Moving slowly and getting to my feet, I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from making any sound. There may have been no one around but showing any sign of weakness meant that I was weak. I couldn't allow myself to be vulnerable.

Going from the throne room to the main lobby within the castle, and looking towards the stairs, I thought against it. Each step up would be a fire raging in my legs. So, I stuck to the main floor and moved slowly towards the kitchen. Any spare blood pack would have to do for me until mealtime, and by spare, I mean whatever the kitchen staff stashed away for themselves.

Blood supply was dwindling and everyone was just trying to make a single blood pack last them a week. Of course, none were like me, a turned Beta Vampire. Even if they were turned on the island, they would be Omegas. The island made Omegas, but only Alphas could be born. I question that a lot. Lord Kamijo wanted more Alphas, but as recorded through birthing records, Omegas were plenty to one Alpha delivery every six months for the past ten years it seemed.

I knew of Sir Daisuke's experiments he had done for Lord Kamijo well over 50 years ago when the decline started to happen. As Lord Kamijo predicted back then, the decline would only get worse. As ordered, Sir Daisuke only did as Lord Kamijo instructed of him. The method involved using already-turned Vampires, both on and off the island. Sir Daisuke didn't use anyone else, only those that Lord Kamijo had sent to him. I suggested using different methods or different subjects, but neither of them would listen to me. Obviously, the experiment was deemed a failure and shut down.

Entering the empty kitchen, I moved around to the cold storage and opened the heavy door. Using my nose, it didn't take long for it to lead me to an open blood pack. Only half emptied, I took the rest of it and drank it back. Someone would be upset to discover their blood pack gone, but it wasn't my issue. My issue was that half a blood pack wasn't going to be enough for me.

Searching every shelf, no other pack was found. I had to give up on my search when my own phone alarm went off. I was always an early riser and my alarm meant others would awaken soon. I had to just wait till later when I would receive my portion of blood.

As for today's agenda, there would be a meeting in the throne room, but not until later. Debating going up to my room to rest, I still didn't have the strength to carry myself up that way, so I opted to go to Lord Kamijo's private chambers, his office. There was a sofa I could rest on and I'm sure Lord Kamijo wouldn't mind. He knew he had put me in this position.

Making my way down the hallway, passing numerous doors along the way, I opened the door to Lord Kamijo's private chambers, expecting it to be empty, but to my surprise, Lord Kamijo sat behind his large oak desk. His elegant smile was revealed when he saw it was me. He must not have gone upstairs to his bedroom after he was done with my punishment. And he knew why I came in here as he gestured to the sofa along the wall.

I continued to brave through the pain, closing the door behind me and making my way to the sofa. I wanted to show how relieved I was to be off my aching feet, but that would only give Lord Kamijo satisfaction that he managed to break me somehow. I just knew if he saw me vulnerable, he would think I was weak, and I couldn't have that. I was his right-hand man, and I needed to be strong like Lord Kamijo himself.

No words were spoken as I sat on the sofa and lay down. Just a bit of rest was all I wanted and needed. Hearing Lord Kamijo typing away at his computer, I closed my eyes and relaxed.

Ringing in my ears had woken me up. I reached for the ringing device inside my coat pocket and pulled out my phone. It was another alarm I had set for the meeting this afternoon. I had a half hour to get ready.

This time when I sat up, I wasn't entirely in pain. It was tolerable, at least. I lifted my shirt to see the damage finally. Bruises littered my torso. It meant only the internal damage that Lord Kamijo caused was healed but not the external. One thing I can be thankful for was that Lord Kamijo kept his blows to parts of my body that could be covered up.

That is when I saw on the coffee table in front of me, two blood packs and a note. Picking up the note, I read it.

'For your troubles. You've done well.
-Lord Kamijo.'

I wanted to groan. I had been punished for my failure. Yet, because I have taken my punishment well, I was being praised. However, two blood packs were being offered and all I could think of was thanking Lord Kamijo for them.

Drinking back the blood packs, my body felt more rejuvenated. I lifted my shirt to see the bruising was disappearing slowly right before my eyes, which I was thankful for. My body didn't feel as sore now, a little stiff, but I could move with ease.

Getting up from the sofa, I knew what I needed to do now. Change my clothes. Being on a time limit, a shower would have to wait. I left the room and headed down the hallway to the main entrance hall. I could never understand it, how Lord Kamijo made the hallways of the main floor turn into a labyrinth during the night, but during the day, it was easy to navigate. I headed up the staircase to the second floor before I walked down the hallway to the stairs to the third floor.

I was privilege enough to have my own room on the third floor. Only the main family slept on the third floor. Lord Kamijo had his own personal room, same with his wife. His wife was always locked inside her room, to keep her from leaving or being unfaithful to Lord Kamijo again. Master Ryoji had his personal room, and even Lord Kamijo's daughter still had her own personal room, though she lived on the mainland. Master Kenji's room was there as well and mine. Six large rooms in total each with their own personal bathrooms, which I was thankful for.

Even though Sir Nori and I lived within the castle, the only two advisors that Lord Kamijo allowed to live with him, Sir Nori's study was on the main floor and he shared the community bathroom with the servants. This is why I was thankful to have my own room on the third floor.

Changing out of the clothes I had worn last night, I put on a clean crisp suit. My closet was filled with them. It was the only attire I would ever wear, even when I had to go out on missions to kill. A man should always dress to impress. I slicked my black hair with gel, fixed my tie, before making my way back down the stairs to the throne room.

I had a slight idea why Lord Kamijo was throwing an afternoon meeting with his advisors, Sir Daisuke and Sir Saga were at the masquerade ball last night and might have drunk some of that blood wine being served and Lord Kamijo needed time in order to awaken them.

As always, I was right on time and the last to enter the throne room. I could never understand why it happened this way, but it did. Walking up to the front of the throne, just before the steps, I stood in line with the other three advisors.

~End of Tora's POV~

“Nice of you to join us, Sir Tora.” Nori greeted the sharp-dressed man as he stood on the other side of Daisuke and Saga.

Tora could hear the snarky tone Nori used to greet him with. He nodded his head but didn't say anything back. Tora wasn't in the mood to argue with Nori. It was common for them to banter back and forth. He gave Kamijo his complete attention, which started the meeting.

“Last night was a success, with a small hiccup.” Kamijo began, sitting on his throne with a leg crossed over the other. He had a cup of blood wine in his hand as he looked down at the four in front of him. “Gathering most of the Clan Leaders here, I had them placed in the dungeon once everyone was asleep.”

Saga was shocked to hear this. “Why on Earth would you place them in the dungeon? What crimes have they committed?”

“Oh, many crimes have been committed, but this is to secure ourselves against their growing Clans. You see, they have been working against me, which we all know of.” Kamijo smiled with classiness down at Saga. “I am going to explain why and what my plans are for them.”

Saga nodded his head and gave a side glance at Daisuke, who wasn't shocked by this news. It was clear Kamijo revealed parts of his plans to certain advisors. Though, even Saga knew no one understood Kamijo's full intentions, he kept that to himself quite well.

“The blood wine served last night had my blood infused with it. It was to make those drinking it addicted to my blood and want more. Those of you who were drinking the blood wine, it didn't have the same effect, but caused you to fall asleep. You have all been infused with my blood prior to this, and I did do a few experiments with Sir Daisuke to make sure it would be a success.” Kamijo revealed that Daisuke knew of this beforehand. “Almost every Clan Leader and their heir here is now a part of the Red Dragons Clan, or rather under my control. With control of them, I have control over their own Clan.”

“You are missing a few Leaders.” Nori piped up. “Mother Abigail of Calling River didn't make it, but she sent Celest. Lord Henry of Heavenly Arrow Clan made it, but his heir, Jesse is still missing.” He started correcting Kamijo. “Not to mention Black Raven never showed up and that new Clan that Sir Frances created, he never showed up either. So you really don't have control of much. Omnium and Blue Roses Clans are the largest ones and you have both their Leaders and heirs here, so you only have control over two out of the six, Lord Kamijo.”

Tora would have liked to have walked over and slapped Nori's mouth shut. Yes, he was pointing out the flaws in Kamijo's plan, but really taking over those two large Clans meant they held the power and could easily squish the other Clans. However, Tora knew Kamijo wouldn't dare touch Black Raven and Tora wasn't sure why Kamijo had kept Sir Frances alive after expelling him.

Kamijo sipped his glass of blood wine, before directly looking at Nori with his violet eyes. “I hear what you are saying, but with the heir of Calling River and Lord Henry, I still have control of them. Having both the Leader and heir makes my job easier. Their blood is all we need to control their other members.”

Listening to Kamijo, Tora understood now, but the question still remained: why would he need to control them? Was Kamijo purposely doing it to stop any Clan wars from breaking out? Or was there more to Kamijo's hidden agenda?

“What do you plan to do with them, Lord Kamijo?” Daisuke finally opened his mouth. The blond-haired Alpha, who owned the hospital and worked as the top doctor, questioned Kamijo. He was always doing some sort of experiment for Lord Kamijo, but never fully understood for what reason the experiment was for.

“Ah, yes, Sir Daisuke.” Kamijo addressed the Alpha. “I had a plan for them, but there seems to be a change in my entire plan.” He sipped the last of the blood wine from his glass. “Master Kenji is no longer with us.”

“What? Did he kill himself?” Saga interrupted. He knew to hold his tongue, but the Omega in him seemed concerned.

“No, he just escaped last night, Sir Saga.” Kamijo shook his head, he knew that the interruption was only because of his choice of words. “It seems even under the watchful eyes of Sir Nori and Sir Tora, Master Kenji planned an escape from not only the castle but the island itself.”

“Who are you sending to fetch Master Kenji, Lord Kamijo?” Daisuke asked. If Kenji escaped those two, he had a feeling him and Saga would be sent to fetch Kenji instead.

“No one, Sir Daisuke,” Kamijo sat up in his throne, both feet now placed on the floor. “I will be sending word out to the Clans. If they wish to have their Leaders and heirs returned to them, they will be hunting for Master Kenji themselves and be brought back alive.”

The four before Kamijo all nodded, no one opposed of that decision. Tora cleared his throat, he wanted a question of his answered, so when Kamijo looked at him, he asked. “What did you mean by everyone is grounded to the island last night?”

“Yes, I didn't explain that part to you, Sir Tora.” Kamijo looked at the four in front of him. “With you four here, I will. I have put a lockdown in place, anyone who steps on the island will not be able to leave the island. It's been in place for a week now, which is why no one on the island can go in search of Master Kenji. He has somehow managed to escape my enchantment, but his return isn't important now. What is important is that my master plan continues on.”

“What is your master plan, Lord Kamijo?” Nori asked, seeming more curious about it. He listened to the words Kamijo had used and as he could fly, he was not grounded. This could only mean Kamijo had a plan to use him in this master plan of his. Being the only Angel who could still fly, he was of use to Kamijo somehow.

“Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Sir Nori. The plans I have are still in the developing stages. Little hiccups like Master Kenji's escape, means I have to go and figure out how to execute the next plan.” Kojima waved off Nori, telling him to not worry about it and to drop it. “Now, as I have four of you here, Sir Tora, Head Advisor. Sir Nori, a Fallen Angel. Sir Daisuke, Strongest Alpha Warrior Bloodline. And Sir Saga, Most Fertile Omega Bloodline.” Kamijo announced them by their title and description, meaning he was calling their attention to him for a big announcement. “After the unfortunate lost of my other advisors, I need to reassign their places and I have selected the three already.”

This was news to Tora, surprising news. The last time Kamijo had to come up with new advisors for placement, Kamijo had come to him for input. Of course, there were only five other advisors besides himself. Nori only got in because Kamijo wanted to keep the Angel close to him. So he had to wonder which bloodlines he had selected this time.

“We will welcome Sir Gregory, Leader of the Red Dragons Warriors. Newly appointed Financial Advisor and Top Model, Madam Victoria. And lastly, Master Ryoji. These three will be joining us this evening for supper here. Talk of the other Clan Leaders will not be spoken till our next meeting.” Kamijo made it clear to the four that they needed to keep their mouths shut about this meeting’s business.

“Why Master Ryoji?” Tora spoke up, he didn't look pleased to hear that Ryoji was going to be joining them.

Kamijo laughed lightly at Tora's question. He could tell Tora was not going to like the idea of Ryoji joining them. “As you all know, my wife had put it in the young one's mind that he would be heir to the Clan. As much as I tried to explain that Master Ryoji wouldn't be heir, I needed to please the wife in some way. Putting Master Ryoji in the advisor's position would make the wife happy and make her believe that Master Ryoji is closer to becoming the heir.” He rolled his eyes over the idea.

“Why have you not explained to her that Master Ryoji isn't your offspring, no matter how many times she tells you that he is, My Lord.” Daisuke sighed. “You've told us that your wife was unfaithful to you and birthed another man's child, the reason we all agreed that her uterus should be removed as punishment. I did the surgery myself. Why does she insist that Master Ryoji is yours?”

“Even locking her up, she still continues to make that claim.” Nori shook his head. “Maybe if the father revealed himself, she wouldn't have any grounds to stand on and stop insisting.”

Tora had the feeling that Nori might know by the way he spoke. The only people here who knew the truth was him and Kamijo. The claim that Kamijo's wife made wasn't exactly untrue. Tora was the living dead, and because he was turned by Kamijo and with the power of the island, Tora had impregnated Kamijo's wife. Ryoji had more than half of Kamijo's DNA in him than Kenji did, but because Kamijo's wife was unfaithful and birthed another man's child, Ryoji would never be the heir.

Kamijo shook his head, smiling with elegance. “Even if Master Ryoji's father was still alive, she would continue to make the claim that he should be heir because he is her son. I'm not dealing with that headache from her. Instead, Master Ryoji will become one of my new advisors.”

“I have to ask, Lord Kamijo.” Saga swallowed hard, before he opened his mouth. This was always a touchy subject, talking about Kamijo's wife, but maybe now they could understand something about her. “Why do you insist on keeping her around? It's clear she has done you wrong and you have punished her for it, but the only time we ever see her is during social events.”

“Yes, Sir Saga. This is true.” Kamijo didn't seem annoyed at the question. He knew they all wanted to know the reason, but any time they brought it up, it annoyed him not to answer them. Though, with his master plan in the works, it didn't annoy him this time. “You see, she has this unique gift. The reason I have kept her around is not because I want to but because she can not die. Try as I might, even when I tried to turn her, her heart still beats. Years ago I learned from her that her sister was once a part of the Black Raven Coven before the Angels descended. Her sister performed a small ritual on her to keep her alive forever. Sadly, even though I tried to turn her, it did not take. She is immortal and I wish to learn what her sister did to achieve that, but she keeps it to herself. She will continue to be locked up inside this castle until the end of time, that I assure you.”

More shocking news was told, and Tora couldn't believe it. He was the one who went and sought her out for Kamijo. He didn't even know who he had brought to Kamijo, but she fits the picture Kamijo had in mind for a wife. And Kamijo wasn't even mad at him for it? Well, years had passed since he brought her here, and it seemed she still held on to the secret of immortality. That, or she didn't know how her sister had done it to her. If she couldn't die, she was the endless supply of blood that Kamijo had, which made more sense that Kamijo wasn't worried about the blood supply on the island.

“An immortal human, right here above our heads?” Daisuke was interested in this now. “Why haven't you allowed me to experiment on her, My Lord?”

“It'd be pointless. What happened to her was done with magic. I even explained the situation to Lady Mana, but she told me she had no immortal ritual in her library. She even allowed me to send one of my Elites to study every book she had and they came up empty handed. This had to have been a ritual only created by the one who performed it and since my wife's sister is no longer on this Earth, she is the only one who knows the ritual.” Kamijo calmly explained. “Now, that is all for this meeting. You will all be expected at supper time in the dining hall, bring your families if you want. I have other business to attend to now.”

As Kamijo stood up, the four advisors all bowed to him till he had left the throne room. Nori was the first to stand up and sigh. “What family does he except any of us to bring? Sir Tora killed both of his lovers. You play around in a whore house all day.” He pointed to Saga, before pointing to Daisuke. “And you have your nose buried in medical and science books. None of us have a family.”

“Really, is that what you think?” Saga glared at Nori. “I was pregnant only 15 years ago. Do you not remember that?”

Nori grinned. “Thought you gave that thing up. You were never suited to be a good parent, running around the whore house.”

Tora stepped closer to Saga, placing his hand on Saga's shoulder and pulling him away from Nori gently. “As a matter of fact, Sir Saga has been an excellent parent to his daughter. She is top of her class right now. I think you should watch what you say.”

Nori stepped closer to Tora. “The poor girl had to become a bookworm because Sir Saga didn't have the time to be there for her, too busy spreading his legs. And even now, where is the poor girl? Stuck in school, doing nothing but learning till she graduates. You know I am right about that; Lord Kamijo has the whole island in lockdown and for the children's safety, they live within the schools.” He raised a hand and it started to glow blue, Tora knew what that meant, and gulped. Nori chuckled as he put his hand down and started to walk away.

“You know, he is right.” Saga sighed from behind Tora. “If it weren't for you and Daisuke helping me raise her after her father was sent to the dungeon, I don't know if I could have raised her alone.”

“Don’t say that, Saga.” Daisuke came up beside him and hugged Saga's head to his shoulder and kissed the top of his head. “Toshiya was a fine warrior. One of the best the Red Dragons had in a long time.”

Tora felt a bit of guilt. He wanted to tell Saga that Toshiya was still alive. However, he also had to remind himself he told Kamijo he completed the job and killed the man. Tora was the only one to know that Sir Frances was sent to the island with Toshiya as a guard for him. Toshiya didn't want to do what Sir Frances wanted to do and tried to come back to the island. Toshiya was devoted to Kamijo, but since he wouldn't do what Sir Frances wanted to do, Tora had to finish the job. Of course, Tora tried as he could to kill Toshiya, but he was just too strong and had too much willpower to keep living. He gave Toshiya the option to disappear and never show his face again. Toshiya took that option and went into hiding. Tora felt guilty he had to lie to Kamijo and decided to make up for it by helping Saga with his daughter when he could. Knowing she was an intelligent girl, Tora had no problems helping her learn new things. Had she been born a boy and an Alpha, Tora would have trained them to be strong like Toshiya.

“I'll go to the school and bring her to you.” Tora spoke, looking at Saga and Daisuke. “You haven't seen her since the lockdown and hearing what Lord Kamijo said, you might as well bring her to supper.” He had a feeling that Kamijo only said it to get under Saga's skin for asking the question about his wife. Well, as loyal as he was to Kamijo, he had to give up the one person he loved and loved him back, Hitaru.

So, getting Saga's daughter out of the school and her coming to the supper tonight after everything that had happened, this would be like taking a stab at Kamijo. Any time the chance presented itself, Tora would defy Kamijo just to get back at him for making him submit and love the man who turned him. However, defying Kamijo, he had to make it look like it wasn't his doing, completely. Tora knew this and he wasn't the same naïve little lad he had been back then.

“Would you really do that for me?” Saga looked at Tora with hopefulness in his eyes. Saga had tried to do it before but was turned away. He may have been Blood Ties but without Kamijo's permission, there was little he could do in that situation.

Tora nodded his head. Being Kamijo's right-hand man and not to mention he also had permission to be on the school property to get Ryoji and Hayden, this was only a small task. “I'll do it, but only because you wanted to bring your family to the supper, got that?”

Daisuke narrowed his eyes at Tora. “You don't want to take the fall for it, I see.” He saw right through Tora.

Saga slapped Daisuke on the chest. “I don't care. If I have to lie that I bribed Tora into bringing Ami to me, I want to see my little girl again.” He looked back at Tora. “You know I'll warm your bed for you.” He gave Tora a knowing look.

“I'll take you up on that offer, if you wish. I know you haven't been with another man since Toshiya.” Tora winked with a small smile. He looked at Daisuke. “See, now it isn't a lie. Saga is offering himself up to me to bring his daughter home.”

“Whatever, not my business.” Daisuke released Saga from his hold. “Just keep it between the two of you. I don't want any part of this.”

Saga snorted. “I know you. You want Ami to come home just as much as I do.”

“Yeah, okay. I do.” Daisuke sighed and stuffed his hands into his jean's pockets. “Though, I'm not offering anything to Tora. This is between you two, got it?”

Tora nodded his head. “Guess that means I should head into town here soon. I'll drop your daughter off at your place, Saga. Then I will see you both later this evening.”

“Later.” Daisuke waved Tora off, as he and Saga headed out of the throne room's main doors.

~Tora's POV~

Watching the two of them leave together, I knew something was going on between them. Ever since Toshiya left, Sir Saga and Sir Daisuke got close, closer than I would have expected. The two grew up together, close in age, but they never seemed more than just friends. Not even best friends. Maybe I am just overthinking it.

Seeing the time on my phone when I pulled it out of my pocket, I didn't have much time. Since coming to the island a few months ago with Master Kenji, it became one of my duties to pick Master Ryoji and Hayden up from the school; that’s how I got permission to be on school grounds.

So, I started to head outside to one of the cars. I didn't have my own car here, I just borrowed one of Lord Kamijo’s cars. The man never left the castle, but he liked to collect cars. I don't even think he had a license or even knew how to drive one. Anytime he ordered one from the mainland, it was me or someone else who went to pick up the car and bring it to the castle. He'd gawk at it for a few days, admire the machine up close, then just forget about it. Lord Kamijo didn't even care when Master Kenji stole one of the collector cars he had and crashed it. I even believe that was the last time Kenji even attempted to drive, and he was only 12.

I took a sedan-style car this time. Master Ryoji might be pissed. He only wanted me driving one of the sports cars and always had Hayden shoved into the backseat. But this time. I was picking up an extra person and there was no way I would shove Sir Saga's daughter into such a tight backseat. She was like a princess to Sir Saga and I rather stay on good terms with him. Sir Daisuke and I didn't see eye to eye on a few things, but one thing we did agree on was treating Sir Saga's daughter kindly.

I didn't care for my own offspring, Master Ryoji, but Sir Saga's daughter was different. She was intelligent and respectful. Master Ryoji thought he knew everything and acted like he was better than everyone else. He wasn't always like that though, he wasn't the brightest kid and he knew that and asked questions, but he showed respect, when he was younger.

Master Ryoji tried too hard to be like Master Kenji, most likely. Where Master Kenji demanded respect, but he would show it too when it was given to him. This I had seen for myself, but I never did it because I was trying to teach Master Kenji to respect his elders and not just demand respect. That's where Master Ryoji failed. If he was given respect, he still didn't show it. Where Master Kenji used his head, thinking of possible outcomes to certain situations. Master Ryoji wouldn't think, he'd just do it and suffer the consequences after.

One difference between Master Kenji and Master Ryoji, was how they acted around Lord Kamijo. Master Ryoji was scared shitless of the man and coward anytime he had to face him. Master Kenji showed Lord Kamijo no fear, he knew what I knew; Lord Kamijo enjoyed having those kissing his feet.

Pulling up the car to the parking lot barricade, one of the Alpha Warriors was there guarding the entrance. Seeing that it was me, he nodded his head and opened the barricade up. Looking at the parking lot, vehicles parked in stalls looked to be ancient due to the amount of dirt, dust, and debris layered on them. It only took a few months for this to happen and it was a sad sight to see.

Not even bothering to park the car, I pulled right up to the curb and made my way into the school. What used to be a large area with couches and tables for the students to enjoy their lunch or hang out with friends was blocked entirely off into small cubicles so the students had their own space for privacy. Though how much privacy they got was questionable as you could climb the stairs and look down into them, if you really wanted to.

I didn't even venture far into the school as the office was right there to my left and I walked in. The Secretary knew who I was and who I was picking up, but I had to approach her and tell her I was picking up Sir Saga's daughter, Ami. This came as a shock to her, but she nodded her head and looked over a few pieces of paper from off to the side.

The Secretary looked up at me again and said I would have to retrieve Ami from one of the classrooms. I was hoping I didn't have to walk through this school, but now I was headed up those damn stairs getting stares from every kid I passed. Thankfully, heading to the right of the stairs was a classroom-filled hallway, and the door I needs to enter was right in front of me.

Not even knocking, I opened the door to see a room filled with beds and a group of giggling girls. Guess they decided to use a classroom to house students after all and not just the foyer. They all turned to me with shock and confusion written on their faces till Ami's face was clear and her bright smile appeared.

Ami ran over to me, hugging me around my neck, or trying to as I was clearly a tall man. I looked down at her and told her to gather her belongings because she was leaving. The look in her eyes told me she wasn't going to come with me. I explained that her mother, Sir Saga, was missing her terribly and she was needed at home. Ami shook her head, said if her friends couldn't leave then she wasn't going anywhere.

The friends she talked about looked at me; some looked hopeful that I would take them, and others knew they weren't going anywhere. I looked back at Ami, and asked her if she knew the seriousness of the situation on the island. Then asked the others if they knew the seriousness of the situation. Not to my surprise, none of them did. I didn't want to be the one to inform them. It wasn’t my job. The teachers or, instead, the principal should have done it. It was only going to get worse.

Ami looked at me, tilting her head to the side. She asked me what the problem was and why they were kept here at the school. These kids weren't dumb, they just didn't know where to get their information from. Sighing, I told Ami I would tell them, but they needed to keep quiet as long as Ami came home with me. She debated in her head if she should come with me or not, before another young girl came up to Ami, an Angel, and told her to go with me. If things are as bad as what Master Ryoji and Hayden had been telling everyone, Ami should take the chance to go be with Sir Saga.

Now, I wanted to know what Master Ryoji and Hayden had said, so I asked what those two bone heads had said to everyone. The girls weren't afraid to tell me after I called the two bone heads.  According to Master Ryoji and Hayden, the whole mainland was in shambles after a bomb wiped most of it out and because of the increase in population on the island, those that survived the bomb were living out on the streets. So their story wasn't completely wrong, but the exaggeration of their being a bomb was.

I went to explain that ports had been closed down for awhile, which they all knew. Everyone knew that, especially after that whole football game incident. So it wasn't hard to tell them that with the ports closed, money wasn't being made. With no money flow, people lost jobs and without anyone hiring or getting a new job, bills started to stack up and eventually, kicked out of their homes living in the streets or in their cars in the driveway of their old home. Downtown became a mess as well, with all the new residents living in the hotels from before, they weren't leaving because they couldn't leave the island and the apartment buildings were now a place for humans and Vampires camped outside of them, keeping the landlords from kicking them out. Streets were littered with trash as there was no way to clean them up or get the trash off the island because of the ports being closed. Businesses were closing down as well.

The girls all looked at me, tears in their eyes. They had family outside the school of course. I could see the idea of leaving the school come across their minds, but I had to stop that idea from developing any farther. I opened my mouth, saying they were safer here than out there. Crime had skyrocketed and if they left the school, they could possibly be a victim and there was no police force to save them. Right now, there were members of an organization stationed around the school grounds keeping anyone who wasn't welcomed, out.

Ami asked why Sir Saga wanted to take her from here to live out there. I had to tell her that Sir Saga wasn't feeling the impact of the island, but he was alone and he missed her deeply. She was caught between a rock and a hard place. Learning that there was safety here in the school, or going home to be with Sir Saga. I could see she loved Sir Saga but could sense her guilt of leaving her friends.

It was annoying, I couldn't stand people taking forever to make up their minds because of their emotions. The emotional rollercoaster they were forcing on themselves wasn't going to do them any good. I had to get Ami out quickly, so I told her to gather her things now and if she wanted to return to the school, I would bring her back. That seemed to help her make up her mind and I had to stand there while the girls had an emotional farewell as Ami collected her belongings. I couldn't understand it and I didn't want to. Ami finally walked over to me with a backpack and a sad smile on her face before we left the room.

Now, I needed to get Master Ryoji and Hayden. That wouldn't be hard as I returned to the office and Master Ryoji was sitting there looking not impressed by having to wait for me. I asked him where Hayden was, and he told me Hayden didn't show up this morning, so he was most likely back at the castle. Then he noticed Ami and asked what I was doing with her. I told him she was going home, and to get to the car. I had to wonder what happened to Hayden as I didn't even sense him in the castle.

Making our way outside, Master Ryoji scowled at me and whined that I didn't bring a sports car to pick him up in. He complained that I wasn't following orders. Ami got annoyed of him complaining and told him if he didn't want to be seen riding in the car, he could always duck down in the backseat and stay there. I couldn't help but smile slightly. At least there was someone else around to put Master Ryoji in his place, for I couldn’t. Seems Master Ryoji would complain to his mother about me, which then she would inform Lord Kamijo about my rudeness towards Master Ryoji.

Ami did take up the front passenger seat as Master Ryoji took the backseat. I don't know how that happened, but Master Ryoji must have taken Ami's words seriously and sat back there, slouching. The drive was heartbreaking for Ami, as she noticed I wasn't lying about the island’s condition and how everyone lived. She commented on the poor souls and how she felt bad for everyone and their families. Master Ryoji and I kept silent about it. I was surprised that Master Ryoji wasn't saying a word till I looked back and saw he was asleep. He wasn't there last night, but most likely stayed up to play video games in his room with no one checking in on him.

Junno, the butler, had taken the night off. I could remember that Junno was meant to be Master Kenji's personal butler as a child. Between him and I, we prepared and schooled Master Kenji together. I handled certain subjects, and Junno took on the others. Master Kenji also respected the man because he respected Master Kenji, so it was easier for him to teach Master Kenji. As we taught Master Kenji, we noticed how bright the boy had been, especially since his mother never put him through school.

Lord Kamijo saw the results of the tests we had given Master Kenji, and he pushed Master Kenji to further his education into degrees. Junno felt bad for the boy and would sit up with him late at night, helping him to understand. I had caught them doing this and knew if Lord Kamijo found out, he would be disappointed in Master Kenji. I felt as one of Master Kenji's teachers to let it slide. The boy was barely a teen, but everything he learned he kept in his head.

I drove through an archway that led to the housing of those that were Blood Ties to the Red Dragons. Ami was shocked to see how everything here was kept up. Bushes were trimmed, and the streets remained clean and swept. She looked at me with those soft blue eyes of hers, almost questioning why, but she already knew why.  I just sighed as I pulled up into her driveway and stopped right in front of the large mansion. She was about to open the door, but I paused her actions by placing a hand on her shoulder. I couldn't allow her to open the door herself. She gave me a nod and let me get out of the car to open her door.

Sir Saga had rushed out of the mansion, with Sir Daisuke following behind slowly. Ami had climbed out of the car and ran up to Sir Saga. They were embracing each other, crying in joy and in sadness. I grabbed Ami's belongings, and Sir Daisuke approached me to retrieve them. He asked if I would like to stay for a cup of tea, but I looked back at the car and shook my head. He saw that Master Ryoji was still with me.

I left the area after saying farewell and a hug from Ami, and she thanked me for bringing her home. I drove back to the castle, and once I parked the car, I looked into the backseat. Master Ryoji was still asleep. It wasn't my problem; I had done my job of returning him home from school, so I got out of the car and headed into the castle. Junno was there at the entrance, dusting. I informed him that Master Ryoji was still in the car. It was his problem now.

Then I felt it, the pull in my head. It only happened when Lord Kamijo was trying to communicate with me telepathically. After years of being by his side, I learned how to shut my mind off from him. It was a problem to have someone know your every thought before you even spoke your concern. Lord Kamijo probably knew of my love for him and would use it to his advantage.

Entering Lord Kamijo's private chambers, I strolled over to the desk and sat in the chair in front of the desk. Lord Kamijo looked up at me from his computer and then looked back at the screen. No words were spoken, I had the feeling we were waiting on another and I was correct, as Sir Nori walked in all tall and proud and took the chair beside me.

~End of Tora's POV~

“Excellent,” Kamijo spoke as he looked over at Tora and Nori. “I want both of your opinions on something.” He had their attention, so he continued. “As the governments control a majority of everything on the mainland, I noticed something off about them. I see out of twenty members, only five of them are Vampires. Do either of you see an issue with this?”

Tora looked over at Nori. Nori just shrugged his shoulders as he shook his head. Of course, he wouldn't see a problem with it. Tora, on the other hand, did. “Yes, mainland Vampires are allowing humans to control them. The governments controls who gets a more extensive blood supply. Seeing as Blue Roses and Omnium Clans have each have members, as well as Calling River, that leaves Black Raven, Heavenly Arrow, and Red Dragons out of the blood supply demand. I can only guess that Sir Frances allows his little gang to feast on actual humans.”

“Good observation, Sir Tora.” Kamijo praised Tora for seeing the picture. “While the Red Dragons have nothing to do with the governments there, they were keeping a supply of blood to us. I have allowed shipments of blood to still come, but they have refused.”

“So, what you are saying, is we are going to have a bunch of bloodthirsty Vampires roaming the island?” Nori chuckled. He didn't see it as a problem for him.

“Not exactly, Sir Nori.” Kamijo smiled gently. “The reason for this backup to the island is because the humans are holding elections.”

“Elections means a year of no shipments for us. It's been that way since they formed. What are you suggesting, My Lord?” Tora questioned. He knew they usually kept a large supply on hand for such an event, but the way things have been going, Tora could only suspect Kamijo had stopped the supply delivery himself before this all happened.

“Using my hostages to my advantage. Each side has a different take on what should happen with blood supply and these breeding centers they keep mentioning.” Kamijo waved his hand at his computer, he was reading and looking up every point into this election. “I need you, Sir Tora, to send out letters to Omnium and Blue Roses next of kin members. Each Clan will have to subject four members into this election if they wish to have any say in what happens to their Clan's future. If one of the Clans brings me Master Kenji, I will support them in taking over the governments.”

“Taking over the governments? Are you really going to support that, Lord Kamijo?” Nori couldn't believe what he was hearing.

“Why not?” Tora shrugged. “It's a great motivation, Sir Nori.” He looked at Kamijo. “I'll get right on that as soon as possible.”

Kamijo nodded his head. “Good to hear. Now, if they can get four members from their clans, that's eight in total. On top of that, there will be four human members from their area that will be elected. That leaves only four other spots. Knowing the Calling River, Mr.Cause will most likely keep his seat. Leaving only three seats open.”

“Why are we dealing with politics, Lord Kamijo? That's not your style at all.” Nori shook his head. “You are a ruler, not a follower, so why?”

“You see, Sir Nori. I've kept my hands out of the mainland's politics for quite sometime.” Kamijo looked at the Angel as he moved forward on his seat and rested his head on his hands. “Now, it's time to stir the pot and tip the scales in my favour. And hearing each of your reactions, it's exactly what I wanted to hear. You both will never approve of an idea together. That works out for me.” He sat back with an elegant smile on his face. “You both are dismissed, see you at supper time.”

~Tora's POV~

That was the strangest meeting I had ever heard. Lord Kamijo was pleased that Sir Nori and I couldn't agree with his plan. I was all for it, hoping to get some details as to why, where Sir Nori disapproved of Lord Kamijo getting involved in it in the first place. Something was up about that, but I had little time to think it over with no details. There was one thing I wanted to do since last night and I was going to do it.

Shower.

Heading up to the third floor, I entered my room and paused. There on my bed was the cunning bitch, Lord Kamijo's wife. It didn't shock me that she was outside of her locked room, it was the fact she was in my room. I let out a heavy sigh and asked what she wanted. In her 'me so innocent' voice, she wanted to know if the rumors were true or not about Master Ryoji becoming an advisor.

I told her they were, but it won't be revealed until tonight. She annoyed me and dodging the question would only prolong her stay. I asked her to get out of my room now, but that would be asking too much of her. She had the audacity to walk up to me and place her hands on my cheeks. There was the comment that I was cold to touch, but she found it sensual. I removed her hands from my face and asked a second time that she would remove her presence from my room. Of course, that would be too easy.

Lord Kamijo's wife walked around my room, touching every surface she could, going on about how she hoped with Master Kenji's disobedience, Lord Kamijo would see that Master Ryoji was the perfect candidate to be the heir. I told her Master Ryoji would never be the heir because he wasn't Lord Kamijo's son. She only smiled and said she was Lord Kamijo's wife and any child she had would still have the right and that her son was a part of Lord Kamijo, even if he denied it.

The cunning bitch wasn't wrong. My DNA only showed up in Master Ryoji by a fraction, and her DNA filled up what mine couldn't. It was mentioned in the results that Lord Kamijo's DNA was present, because of Lord Kamijo turning me and his attempt to turn his wife, but he wasn't the father. That was because my dead seedlings managed to realive themselves. Looking at Master Ryoji, he was more of a male version of his mother. The only thing he got from me was the black hair on his head.

My third attempt of kicking Lord Kamijo's wife out of my room was ended with a threat of telling Lord Kamijo she knew how to escape her room. Thankfully she took the hint and decided to leave, but not before kissing my cheek.

Now I really needed to shower. Gathering my things for a shower, I headed into the bathroom and locked the door. I just wanted to be alone and enjoy my shower. Sure, no one ever came into my room without reason, but locking the bathroom door made me feel a bit secure.

However, feeling secured wasn't long-lasting. Something felt off. I didn't have Lord Kamijo's powers to see everything happening within the castle, but something was happening. Perhaps I will find out what it was later tonight, as I only wished to enjoy my shower.

Drying off and using a hairdryer for my hair, I was soon dressed in another suit and slicking my black hair back with gel. I opted to forget about the tie and left the top two buttons undone. There was no need to be completely formal as it wasn't a formal supper. I just needed to keep my professional image.

One more look over at my outfit and I grabbed a bit of cologne to add. Ready for supper tonight, I made my way down to the main lobby. I wasn't expecting anyone to show up early; there was still time before supper, but Sir Saga and Sir Daisuke walked into the castle with a lovely dressed Ami.

Sir Saga, with his dark brown hair and chestnut-coloured eyes, wore his usual attire. Black slacks, black vest over top of a white buttoned-down shirt. The top three buttons were never done up on his shirt and exposed a bit of his hairless chest. Sir Daisuke, with light blond hair and soft blue eyes, was the top doctor on the island who always wore professional clothing when dealing with the hospital, but anytime he came to a meeting, he wore a t-shirt and jeans. He most surprised me by wearing a buttoned-up red shirt and dark brown slacks. I saw his discomfort in these clothes as his buff stature looked ready to tear through them. Guessing being an Alpha had one downfall.

But Ami, her brown hair was done up in a loose bun with curls and her soft blue eyes shimmered in the light as she wore a small amount of makeup. She looked lovely in her evening wear, a pale pink dress that hung onto her curves and flowed down towards her ankles. I never noticed before how much she filled out for only being a 15-year-old Omega Vampire; it was surprising.

I greeted them, along with Junno, who was already there to welcome our guests. Without Master Kenji around to wait on, Junno became the castle's main butler and caretaker. Usually, the servants went to him for complaints or jobs, but last night, I dealt with it all since it was Junno's night off.

Once we said our greetings and shook hands, Junno directed us to the dining hall where we would all be for the night. Sitting at the head of the table was Lord Kamijo, and to his left, his wife and Master Ryoji. My spot was always to Lord Kamijo's right, so I took my seat followed by Sir Saga. Ami sat beside her mother as Sir Daisuke took the chair beside her.

Master Ryoji's eye roll didn't go unnoticed by me. He was annoyed that Ami was here, but for what reason? I wasn't even sure. Couldn't even guess why he would be unless it had to do with the fact he wouldn't be the only child at an adult supper. I wanted to laugh to myself about it. Master Ryoji was childish enough to think like that.

However, Lord Kamijo's violet eyes noticed Ami as she sat down. Reading him was easier for me than most. He had picked up his goblet of blood wine and took a sip. That was him trying to bite his tongue. His words after the meeting backfired on him. The next time he lifted his eyes after taking a sip, they landed on me. He already knew it was my doing; I was the only one with permission to enter the school grounds, so it had to be me who went to fetch Ami in the first place. Then, the narrowing of his eyes at Sir Saga, Lord Kamijo was trying to figure out what happened that would make Sir Saga ask me to get Ami. Oh, how easy he was to read, because after looking at Sir Saga with narrowed eyes, he turned his attention back to his blood wine. This all happened in a matter of seconds. I couldn't wait till Lord Kamijo got curious and asked how Sir Saga got Ami out of the school.

It was long before our other guests appeared as Junno announced their arrival. Sir Gregory, Leader of the Red Dragons Warriors, walked in tall and proud. He was a true Alpha, but he couldn't stand up to Sir Daisuke, who's bloodline carried the strongest Alpha warrior gene, but his family was Blood Ties. With him walked in a small, mousy Omega. The only way I could describe her when compared to Sir Gregory. Next, Madam Victoria was introduced. She was tall and skinny, with no smile on her face, but the way she walked, you'd have thought she was walking on a runway. There was nothing to her. I was most certain if I even tried to give her a gentle handshake, it would break every bone in her hand up to her elbow.

As Sir Gregory and his Omega sat next to Master Ryoji and Madam Victoria sat next to Sir Daisuke, our supper began.

~End of Tora's POV~

“Welcome everyone!” Kamijo lifted his goblet up in front of him. “Everyone is here tonight and I hope you enjoy the meal. First up, blood wine for all to have.”  Kamijo took a sip from his goblet, allowing everyone else to a sip from the glasses of blood wine in front of them. He looked at Saga, hoping to get a reaction out of him for serving it to the young ones here.

Saga looked at Ami from the corner of his eye, who accepted the glass with a smile, took a fake sip and set the glass down. He wanted to stop her, but he must have taught her well to never drink anything she didn't want to. He knew she faked the sip as her throat moved but the level of the liquid remained the same. He didn't have to worry about his daughter tonight, she was presenting herself politely to their host.

With no reaction from Saga, Kamijo continued on after their greeting toast. “Now, I hope you don't mind but I had the chefs prepare a dish. A simple but tasteful dish for you all to enjoy. I hope no one here is against Pasta alla Vodka.”

Tora wondered if he had planned this because he over heard them, but actually, he knew Kamijo kept things simple around here for his chefs. Anything to complex for them and it was a disaster in the kitchen. What surprised Tora was that Saga allowed Ami to sip blood wine, but when the liquid settled in the glass, it was clear she didn't even take a sip. He hoped the rest of the night went by smoothly.

“Master Ryoji,” Kamijo called to Ryoji's attention. “Do you go to school with Miss, sorry, what is your name dear?” He smiled elegantly at Ami, who turned her head towards Kamijo.

“Ami. You may call me Ami, My Lord.” Ami smiled sweetly and bowed her head slightly in Kamijo's direction. Daisuke could be seen on her other side with a hidden smile, he had informed her on how to address Kamijo before they got there and she was doing wonderfully.

“Of course, Miss Ami.” Kamijo was impressed by her manners and looked over to Ryoji for the answer to his question.

Ryoji straightened up in his chair and nodded his head. “Yes, Lord Kamijo. Miss Ami is in my grade, as well.” He looked nervous, but none of them could blame him; Kamijo’s attention was on him right now.

“Ah,” Kamijo seemed a little too pleased to hear this. However, he turned his attention towards Gregory. “Sir Gregory, how has the training for the new recruits going?”

“Fine, Lord Kamijo. A few weak links in the groups but we are putting them through vigorous training. If they can't survive that, we'll be giving them the boot.”

“Good, good. I like what I am hearing, Sir Gregory.” Kamijo was going along, asking his newest advisors questions, so the next person he turned to was Victoria. “Madam Victoria, it saddens me to have called you back home, but your bloodline was always better with crunching numbers, I apologize for that.”

Victoria shook her head gently. “I have been on the runway for over ten years without aging, it was about time I retired for a few decades. I'm positive they will always be looking for female models in the future when I return, My Lord.” Her voice was a monotone to match her emotionless face.

“Yes,” Kamijo raised his goblet. “A beauty like you shouldn't waste it with crunching numbers. I wish you luck on your success in the future.”

“Until then, Lord Kamijo, I am at your disposal.” Victoria raised her own glass and they both took a sip together.

The tiniest bell chime was heard and Kamijo cleared his throat. “Dinner is served.” He spoke as ten servants came out with a dish each and placed them in front of the ten sitting at the table. Tora looked down at the pasta dish and waited. Waited for Kamijo to give the okay. Those close to Kamijo or have been around Kamijo, knew he never ate any food, so it was up to him to start the meal, but Kamijo's wife was the first to pick up her fork and take a bite.

“Mmm, the dish is delicious, My Lord. Thank you.” She spoke with her hand covering her mouth.

Tora took that as a sign that he could pick up his fork. Glancing at Kamijo with a fork in his hand, Kamijo gave Tora a small nod and Tora took a bite. It was silent as everyone started eating. The only noises heard were of the guests eating their meal in front of Kamijo. At least to those who were too busy eating.

Tora knew the telltale signs, there were many of them and for as long as he has known Kamijo, he was the only one to pick up on them. Sitting right next to Kamijo, Tora could easily hear the tiny clinking of one of Kamijo's rings against the goblet. It was a sign that Kamijo was thinking of something on the spot and it was going to be announced.

As everyone but Kamijo, ate their meal and the plates were taken away, Kamijo got into his announcements. “Now, some of you wonder why I have invited you for supper.” He looked more down the table where Gregory and Victoria sat. “I want to offer you, Sir Gregory, and you, Madam Victoria, to take place as my advisors. With the recent passing of my last three advisors, I need their places filled. It can be temporary or it can be full-time, but I want you two to know you are next in line to take up the position.”

This came as a shock to them; they were already working and doing their duties as Red Dragons Clan members, but to be offered a seat as an advisor was the highest position any Blood Ties could achieve. To say no would be like slapping Kamijo in the face.

“It's an honour, Lord Kamijo.” Gregory bowed in his seat. “I will gladly take up the position.” Beside him, his Omega smiles with tears in her eyes, happy for her Alpha's new role.

Victoria picked up the blood wine and took a sip, as she fanned her face with her other hand. Without an expression on her face, one might not understand what she was doing. Yet, a thin line of wetness in her eyes and her words made it clear. “I accept, My Lord.” She still waved her hand in front of her face, fanning her eyes to make the wetness go away. “You will not be disappointed. I'm glad you considered me.”

Then Kamijo turned to his wife, grabbing her hand on the table. “And as promised my dear wife, Master Ryoji will take up the last spot as my advisor.”

Ryoji's jaw dropped upon hearing his name. He couldn't believe it. He was moving up in the ranks again. Getting an Elite tattoo on his back, he was sure it was Kamijo's way of saying he was accepted to being the heir finally, but Kenji always knew how to put him down. Hearing he was now going to be an advisor, he was almost there, he was almost accepted to being the heir.

Tora could see what was going on in Ryoji's head. He wasn't sure how it was possible, but it was like reading the boy's mind, if Tora had the ability to do it. And it was annoying him. He wanted to slap his mouth shut and get him to thank Kamijo, but he had to show restraint.

“Thank you, My Lord.” Kamijo's wife put on a genuine fake smile. Only Kamijo and Tora could see right through it. She turned to Ryoji, and smiled at him. “What do you say to your father?”

Kamijo's eyes shifted to Tora for a second. Tora had nothing to do with his choice. But his wife was still feeding Ryoji that same lie that Kamijo was his father.

“Th-thank you, My Lord.” Ryoji snapped out of it and bowed in his chair to Kamijo. “I won't let you down.”

“Good.” Kamijo smile seemed to brighten as he looked at Saga. “I have a proposal to make, Sir Saga. You have a fine young daughter there and it is against my Blood Ties laws, but I want you to consider it.”

Tora knew what was coming, it was that idea that Kamijo had here at the table that didn't go unnoticed to him during the meal. Now hearing Kamijo's words, he knew it wasn't going to be good, for Saga or Ami.

“Consider what, Lord Kamijo?” Saga raised a brow. “Ami is my daughter through and through. She is a part of my bloodline, but you have made it clear that she can not be with another Blood Ties.”

“Consider an arranged marriage between Master Ryoji and Miss Ami,” Kamijo spoke out clearly; this made his wife happy. Her smile wasn't fake this time. Ryoji sat there with a dumbfounded look on his face, it was clear he was confused by this turn of events.

“With all due respect, Lord Kamijo,” Daisuke was the first to speak up. “We need to continue to keep the Blood Ties pure. If you give an exception to one, then you know down the line you will have to give exception to others.”

Tora nodded his head. “He speaks the truth, My Lord.” He didn't dare want to see Ami end up with Ryoji, even if Ryoji was his offspring. He knew of Ryoji's habits, after catching him and Hayden a few times. He didn't want someone as pure as Ami to fall into those hands. “You didn't give the exception to Sir Saga, but yet you will give it to his daughter?”

“There is a difference there.” Kamijo gave Tora a stern look. “Sir Saga was with a man who had no Blood Ties, but his daughter has Blood Ties, same with Master Ryoji, so it's perfectly alright.”

Daisuke sighed heavily, picking up his glass of blood wine and downing the whole thing. This behavior was unlike him, but everyone's attention was quickly turned to Ami.

“Lord Kamijo, may I have a say?” Ami raised her hand slightly to get Kamijo's attention.

“What is it you would like to say, Miss Ami?” Kamijo was surprisingly calm and talked to her with gentle elegance.

Ami smiled sweetly still. “As nice as your proposal is, Master Ryoji isn't interested in a lady like me. It would be just an arranged marriage with no affection or love between two people. No one gains anything from it. Master Ryoji would end up cheating on me with his secret boyfriends and I'd end up a childless woman with a husband who only enjoys the company of the same sex.” Ami sighed softly. “Is that what you want of me, Lord Kamijo? To be unhappy and disappointed that My Lord wouldn't even consider my needs as a woman.”

Saga was so happy right now, that his daughter had spoken up for herself and said the things he was going to say to Kamijo. She held no power here, she was only his daughter. Anyone else in Ami's position might think twice before opening their mouths, but Ami knew what was right and wrong about this situation.

Ryoji nodded his head quickly. Adding on to what Ami was talking about. “It's true, Lord Kamijo. I only fancy boys, girls aren't my thing.”

“I see,” Kamijo rubbed his chin looking at Ami. “Then I have no choice but to end it here.”

“End what, My Lord?” Tora had a bad feeling about this.

“Miss Ami, should you not be in school right now?” Kamijo questioned her, before turning this attention to Tora. “I'm not a fool, you are the only one with access to the school grounds and you brought her home without consulting me, Sir Tora. If she is to be outside of the school, she must agree to this marriage. Sir Saga has no say in this now, as there must be an agreement between you two for this to have occurred. Care to share what your agreement was, Sir Saga?”

Now the attention was on Saga, he didn't think it would go down this way. None of the three that knew of it thought it would backfire like this. Saga chewed his bottom lip before nodding his head. “I offered to warm Sir Tora's bed for the night if he brought my daughter home to me.” His chestnut eyes looked up at Kamijo. “You said we could bring our family to dinner tonight, so the only way I could get Ami home was to ask Sir Tora to get her from the school.”

“Once a whore, always a whore.” Ryoji mumbled under his breath, but not quietly enough.

“You, shut your mouth!” Daisuke pointed at Ryoji. “You shouldn't dare talk like that to your elders, Master Ryoji!”

Kamijo sat back in his chair. This was playing out nicely now for entertainment. “Then, I propose another arrange marriage. Sir Daisuke, you have an attachment to Miss Ami, an unhealthy one, perhaps it is you who should marry the young lady.”

Daisuke's jaw dropped and his eyes widen. What was Kamijo getting to? He wouldn't dare marry a child he helped raised. There was more to it than that for him. He shook his head.

“Anyone else care to marry this young lady here, before I make my final decision?” Kamijo looked around the table, Victoria shook her head, she appeared unfazed by this turn of events. Gregory was just as entertained as Kamijo was watching this, but his Omega was feeling sorry for Ami.

“I'll do it!” Tora blurted out, before he realized he spoke out loud as everyone at the table was staring at him, besides Kamijo. He was a man who only enjoyed the company of other men, but if he was the one to marry Ami, he'd be saving her life for now. The marriage didn't have to be permanent and he would keep her safe till she was old enough to move on with her life and find her happiness.

“No you won't, you old geezer.” Ryoji chuckled darkly. “I never said I wouldn't marry her, I just said I only like boys.”

“See, I was right to suggest this.” Kamijo looked at Ami. “Miss Ami, Master Ryoji has agreed to the marriage, so you are free to continue on.”

It was all one big shock, and Tora had seen it coming. He saw Kamijo thinking something over in his head, and when it came out that he was going to end it here, Tora knew that meant Ami would die. He felt bad for her, he had only brought her out of the school to get back at Kamijo, and it almost turned into a funeral.

“Very well, Lord Kamijo. As you wish.” Ami sighed and her smile disappeared. She did have a say, but if she refused, she would die.

“Since Sir Saga has to thank Sir Tora for bringing you out,” Kamijo folded his hands in front of his face. “You will stay with Master Ryoji in his room tonight. It shouldn't be a problem as you and him have claimed he only likes boys. So you will still remain pure for your wedding.”

“I'm not in the mood.” Tora shook his head. “Maybe I'll collect my payment another time.”

“Nonsense. Do it tonight so he doesn't have to owe you.” Kamijo smiled with grace. “You're up for the task, right Sir Saga?”

“Yes, My Lord.” Saga replied as it was pointless to try and walk away from it. Kamijo was pressuring them all into something; what could he benefit from it?

“Good,” Kamijo's elegant pose never relaxed as he looked around the table. “Since it is only fair to make sure Sir Saga fulfills his promise to Sir Tora, we will have them entertain us tonight.”

Ryoji's eyes widen, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. “You mean, like, watch them?”

“Yes, Master Ryoji. I didn't have any entertainment arranged for tonight,” Kamijo nodded his head. “They will provide the entertainment.” He was so proud of himself to come up with this on such short notice. “And maybe, it will all teach you not to keep your hidden affairs away from me. Every action you do will have consequences.”

Sir Tora was feeling disgusted by hearing what Kamijo wanted of him and Saga. “Might I suggest something else, My Lord?”

“No, you may not.” Kamijo gave Tora an appointed look. “You should have known better than to act without my say. This goes for everyone at the table here, do as you please and you will face punishment.”

Daisuke sighed, he was glad he wasn't a part of this, but as he looked around the table, he noticed something. “Where is Sir Nori? He hasn't been here all night.”

Kamijo gave a nod. “Sir Nori has been out doing some work for me. You know he can't enjoy a meal because he is an Angel, so it was only fair to make him work tonight.”

Tora didn't want to think about it, but he had an idea of what Nori was doing. The feeling he had earlier was not the usual magic he felt from Kamijo but Angel powers. Being older he was just more sensitive to these things. Now it was to question what Nori was actually doing, but knowing he had upset Kamijo and he was going to be punished for it by putting on a show with Saga, he was in no position to ask Kamijo.

“May I be excused, My Lord?” Ami wasn't looking good. Hearing that her mother was going to be used as entertainment all because of her, didn't sit well.

“To the washroom, I presume?” Kamijo questioned Ami, who nodded her head. “Madam Victoria, you still remember the way?”

“Yes, Lord Kamijo.” Victoria stood up. “Come, Miss Ami. I will walk you to the washroom.”

Ami got up from her chair, holding a napkin cloth to her mouth as she followed close behind Victoria. Tears started to line her eyes, but she wouldn't dare let them fall, not in front of everyone.

“Excellent, we will wait for their return.” Kamijo picked up his goblet from the table and raised it up. Out from behind a door, a servant came rushing in with a cart, on this cart was a wine bottle fill with blood wine on ice. “We shall have a refill before we leave this room.”

As the servant filled Kamijo's goblet, Daisuke gave a 'told you so' look to Saga. He knew from the beginning it was a bad idea. As much as he would have like to see Ami again, he just knew it was better for her to stay at the school. Now, things were being flipped around sideways. Kamijo was making Tora and Saga perform in front of them. Yet, he knew it wouldn't have happened in the first place; Saga wasn't so desperate to offer himself up, and Tora had his own motive for doing it. They only came up with the deal to cover their tracks. Their plan backfired on them.

And now, Ami was a victim in this. To keep her freedom, she had to marry Ryoji. Kamijo wasn't even giving her the option to go back to the school, she had seen too much of the island's condition. Well, Kamijo did give her an option, but didn't say it out loud. She could have her life ended, but Daisuke knew Ami was too headstrong to go for it. She accepted the proposal, even at the sacrifice of her happiness. Much like Toshiya did back then, he had accepted Kamijo taking him to the dungeon to be shipped off to the mainland as long as Ami's life was spared. He sacrificed his life for his daughter.

“Sir Gregory, I see you have brought your Omega with you tonight. Why not bring your wife?” Kamijo started a conversation as it seemed everyone had gone quiet.

Gregory chuckled. “You see, Lord Kamijo, my wife has these little get-togethers with her girlfriends every week. She found that more important than coming for supper as only I was needed to attend. Had she of known it would be a night of celebration, thanks to you, My Lord, she would have came.” He looked beside him at the small, mousy Omega he had with him. “I didn't dare come alone though. Tonight I will celebrate my promotion as one of your advisors with my Omega.”

“That is right. The wives of our top warriors tend to get together and gossip.” Kamijo nodded his head. “I'm glad to see you decided to bring your Omega. Most never would dare bring their concubines to such an occasion, in fear of being embarrassed, but your Omega has shown excellent manners and restraint.”

“Thank you, My Lord.” Gregory was glad to be praised by Kamijo.

It wasn't uncommon that Blood Ties sometimes took on others just for sexual needs, especially Alphas. It kept their Alpha's aggression down. For other Alphas, like Elites and such, Saga's brothels existed.

Gregory looked towards Daisuke. “It's a shame that you chose a different path in life, Sir Daisuke. Alphas are few in numbers these days, and your strength would be a welcome to the Warriors.”

Daisuke dreaded this talk. He chose this path because of his ability to heal others. Had he gone down the path of a warrior, they would have used him to heal instead of fight. Daisuke didn’t want to be used, so he made the decision himself to go through medical school to help others instead of fighting. “Yes, but you have done well in the past century bringing up warriors.”

“I have tried my best. It was a real shame to lose your brother in that freak accident with his wife and child. But didn't the child survive? Did you take the child in?” Gregory questioned Daisuke.

Daisuke knew what Gregory was getting at, the child was Blood Ties and from the strongest Alpha bloodline. He shook his head. “I was up to my neck in work at the hospital, I couldn't take the child in and raise him as a single parent. My parents took the child in, but they passed shortly after. I don't know what happened to the boy, maybe he is still in school or perhaps he has joined your ranks.”

Gregory frowned. “No, no Alpha with your brother’s strength has appeared in my ranks. The only one who came close to that kind of strength was already a part of the warriors till he went missing. Losing two of the strongest Alphas in only a couple year span really put a damper on us.”

“Well, I'll keep a look out in our labour records for potential Alphas.” Daisuke wanted to drop the topic, he didn't feel comfortable talking about his family matters.

“Or you could just fine yourself a mate,” Kamijo's wife entered the conversation. She usually kept quiet, Kamijo's orders, but she opened her mouth. “You are the last of your bloodline, and your bloodline always produced the strongest Alphas. All you need to do is get your mate pregnant over and over again, it would build up our defenses again when the young ones get older.”

Daisuke shook his head. “I refuse to find a mate and Lord Kamijo knows this. We'll have a surge of Alpha births in due time, we just have to be patient and let nature take it's course.”

Ryoji laughed before picking up his glass of blood wine. “Why not go out, find a few dozen Blood Ties whores and knock them up and leave. You don't need to stick around. Just keep your bloodline going.” He gulped his glass of blood wine.

Daisuke shook his head. “I won't put that pressure on anyone, especially Lord Kamijo.” He gave a side glance to Kamijo, who nodded his head.

“What pressure?” Victoria walked back into the dining hall with Ami walking in front of her. She had a hand on Ami's shoulder, guiding her to her seat, before she took up her own. “I feel tension over here and it seems to have been an exciting conversation.” Her monotone voice made it hard to tell if she was even interested in the topic.

“I'm sure you all remember a certain advisor I had, Sir Frances. He was a conspirator, and many followed him. His parents were one of Sir Daisuke's sisters and one of Sir Saga's brothers. He had a very sharp mind from being born under those two bloodlines.” Kamijo informed the new advisors. “Sir Daisuke doesn't want to create another Sir Frances, is all he is saying.”

Tora raised a brow. “Sir Frances was born an Omega, not an Alpha.”

“True, but that was simply because Sir Saga's bloodline can only produce Omegas. The tactical mind of Sir Daisuke's bloodline could become a problem for me if it continued. Sir Saga's bloodline is known to hold information once learned. It was a dangerous mix.” Lord Kamijo told them all, as he looked towards Ami. “Miss Ami, I have heard you became top of your classes in high school. Is this correct?”

How Kamijo had learned this was a mystery to Ami, she wasn't even an important person for Kamijo to look into. “Yes, My Lord. The teachers even decided to expand my knowledge by giving me extra hard work from upper grades. It was simply a leisure task I could complete in my free time if I wanted to.”

“I see Sir Saga's bloodline is indeed strong in you.” Kamijo lifted his goblet towards Ami. “It's too bad you weren't born full Blood Ties.”

Daisuke picked up his glass of blood wine and down half of it's contents. This time Tora noticed. Anytime Kamijo made a comment about Ami not being full Blood Ties, Daisuke drank. He knew something about Ami that no one else did and he was drinking to keep his mouth shut. Tora wanted to get to the bottom of it, but his attention was pulled away from Daisuke to what was about to happen to him.

“Good, now we will all go to the library. I find there is more comfortable seating there for us to witness Sir Saga fulfilling his promise to Sir Tora.” Kamijo stood up from his spot at the head of the table, taking his goblet with him, he started to head out of the dining room. The rest got up and followed.

Well, Tora sat there still as Saga placed a hand on his shoulder. “Let's get it over with. As much as I don't wish for it to happen, we dug our graves on this one.” He was more confident than Tora was feeling.

“Mama, do I really have to come and watch?” Ami questioned not liking the idea. In fact, she grew up around the brothels and whore houses, it wasn't a big deal to her, but knowing it was her mother being put on display for Kamijo's enjoyment turned her stomach.

“Sorry, Ami. You have to be there.” Daisuke told her, putting an arm around the young girl. “Just sit close to me and cover your ears. I'm sure it won't take long.” He narrowed his eyes at Tora.

Tora shook his head. “It won't please Kamijo to make it into a quick session, and you know this. We just have to let it go it's own course and hopefully that will be enough.”

“Good thing you are turned, I would hate to get pregnant from this.” Saga laughed lightly, trying to lighten the mood. The four started heading out of the dining hall.

~Tora's POV~

As I walked into the library, I spot where exactly Lord Kamijo wanted this to take place. A table was cleared and set up in the center of the room, the other guests were seated around on couches, but Lord Kamijo had a cushion chair to himself.

Why did I do this to myself? It wasn't supposed to happen at all. I knew of Sir Saga being secretly married. I had overheard him and Sir Daisuke discussing it before Toshiya was sent away. I knew that was why Sir Saga didn't perform or work in his brothels anymore, he wanted to remain faithful to a dead man.

I was the only one here that fully knew the plan Lord Kamijo had for Toshiya involving Sir Frances. Sir Saga and Sir Daisuke knew of Sir Frances being expelled, but kept alive for Lord Kamijo's own personal means. They didn't know that Toshiya was kept alive as well. Only I did and I couldn't say a thing about it. Especially after I was ordered to kill him for betraying Lord Kamijo's orders to follow Sir Frances. Only one person knew he was alive now and that was me.

I saw Sir Daisuke take up the last couch with Ami in his arms, Ami was letting it know through her aura she didn't approve of this, she didn't want to be witness to it, but no one was listening to her. I should be feeling bad that she would have to witness me taking her mother, but I didn't. Some small part of me wanted this, wanted to take Sir Saga, but having an audience was off putting.

Standing there stiffly, I didn't know how to begin. Sure, I had sex a lot in my 1800 years of being alive, if you can called being turned living, but never in front of an audience. Lucky for me, Sir Saga wasn't afraid of an audience. He reached up and grabbed the collar of my suit jacket, kissed the side of my neck as he started pushing the jacket off my shoulders.

I couldn't help it but close my eyes and let Sir Saga do what he was doing. He knew what to do and he was being sensual about it. My jacket fell off my arms to the floor as his hands ran up my arms after. I reached up and started undoing every button on his shirt that was exposed, before unbuttoning his vest all with my eyes still closed.

I could sense everyone around me; their interest peaked at what was happening, but I felt Lord Kamijo's eyes burn into me. It was too slow for him, and I knew it. He didn't want to watch us undress each other.

With Sir Saga's shirt and vest unbuttoned and my shirt unbuttoned, I couldn't allow for Sir Saga to continue to be sensual by placing feather-like kisses along my collarbone. I needed to assert my dominance and please Lord Kamijo with my performance. So, I grabbed Sir Saga by tucking my hands under his butt cheeks and lifted him up onto the table. I opened my eyes to see his surprise, but it wasn't a bad surprise, there was excitement in his eyes from my actions.

I started undoing his pants, realizing now how much muscle definition his body had. For an Omega, it was hard to achieve such muscle tone. Unless one worked out for it. Sir Saga must have kept in shape all this time after he gave birth to Ami.

He went to reach for my pants, as I undid his pants, but I stopped Sir Saga's actions with one hand and pinned both his hands above his head, as I finished the task with my one hand. I heard from the side a throat growl. It came from Sir Daisuke, which further made me believe there was more going on between the two than they let know. Well, I had little time to figure out their affairs. I needed to keep going for Lord Kamijo.

Keeping Sir Saga's hands pinned above his head with one hand, I moved my other to pull his pants down around his thighs and pulled his dick out from his boxers. I stroked him, feeling the appendage get harder in my hand the faster I stroked him. His Omega pheromones started to spread throughout the air in the room as he bit back his moans by chewing on his lip. Omega pheromones didn't affect me, and neither did Alpha pheromones. The only pheromones to ever affect my body were those of the born Beta type. And because Sir Saga was an Omega, the only two in the room who were Alphas, their pheromones started to seep into the mixture of Sir Saga's. It would be a room with horny Omegas and Alphas, while I remain unfazed by it.

Ami and Master Ryoji were still too young to be affected luckily, but watching for the excitement didn't stop Master Ryoji from getting there. It sickens me how experienced in sex he had become in the last few years. I wished to blame Master Kenji for it, but he was a born Beta; his body developed faster than the rest.

Having Sir Saga start lifting his back off the table, he was getting close, I just knew it. So, I removed both my hands from him and pulled off his pants and underwear together as he lay there on the tabletop, ready for me. He had propped himself up on his elbows and looked at me with a flirtatious look in his eyes, daring me to take him. As Master Ryoji would say, once a whore, always a whore, but I didn't think of Sir Saga like that, it was his profession and this is just how he kept things interesting.

Unzipping my pants, and pulling my soften cock from out of my pants, I grabbed Sir Saga's hair and made him sit up on the table, before looking down. He saw my problem, and he knew what to do. I stepped back as he dropped to his knees in front of me and placed my cock in his mouth. Sir Saga was a tall man, but I was a taller man and just how it worked out our heights were compatible with each other. But our cock lengths were different.

Being an Omega, Sir Saga's cock wasn't as long but was above average for an Omega. My cock as Sir Saga came to realize, was longer than most and was just as girthy as his. He choked back on it a few times, but continued on going. Sucking it and bobbing his head on it.

My hand had taken a fist full of his hair, tugging on it as he moved, till I pulled harder. I looked down at Sir Saga as he looked up at me with those chestnut-coloured eyes. No words were needed to be spoken as he got the hint and stood up. He turned around and bent over the table; now it was my turn and I paused. There was no lube and I knew taking him dry would hurt him.

But Sir Saga reassured me, by spreading his butt cheeks with his hands. He wanted me to take him, and to my surprise, his pucker hole was moist. I had forgotten that Omegas got wet when they were aroused. A strange occurrence, but it must have had something to do with having the ability to birth a child.

Grabbing my cock in one hand and my other hand on his lower back, I pushed through. Pushed my cock into that tight ring of muscles. I felt resistance at first, but Sir Saga relaxed around me easily. I went fully in till I couldn't go any further. Sir Saga was panting, I was panting, and something strange was happening to me.

Ignoring it, I started moving, started thrusting into him, pulling only halfway out, before his butt cheeks clapped against my thighs. I held on to his hips as I moved in swift motion and Sir Saga this time didn't hold back his moans. He was thoroughly enjoying this just as much as I was. I could hear comments from the peanut gallery, Master Ryoji, but I ignored them. I didn't care now that we had an audience watching us. I didn't care to perform well for Lord Kamijo. I just wanted to please Sir Saga.

I decided to pull out fully, making Sir Saga whimper from the loss of my cock and turn him around on the table. I took one of his legs and lifted it up on my shoulder as his lower body was slightly turned and thrusting my enormous cock into him.

Sir Saga was lying on his side mostly and looked up at me, his mouth partially open and a bit of wetness pooling near his mouth onto the table. He looked like a hot mess from my position, fucking him from this angle, I kissed his thigh near my face as my other hand grabbed a hold of his cock. I stroked him and teased him with squeezes from my hand, he leaked out precum onto his belly and the table.

The audience we had was long gone from my mind, my senses were filled with Sir Saga and pleasing him. All I cared about now was making sure we both felt this intense pleasure I was feeling. I couldn't understand it. It had never been this way with another, but it mattered little who I had past experiences with before. It was this experience I wanted to feel the most and make sure Sir Saga felt the same.

Sir Saga moved his leg down off my shoulder and I let it drop to my side as I continued to push my cock in and out of his ass. Now, Sir Saga's ass was half on and off the table as he wrapped his legs around my body. I bent over him and he reached up to wrap his arms around my neck. A few thrusts after, I grabbed him, wrapping my arms around his body to sit up against my body, holding him close.

As close as I was holding him, my eyes were focused on his neck. I felt a strange pull, it was intense. I had taught myself control against these types of feelings before, but this was something different. It was pulling me in and I was losing control. I had to, I wanted to, and I was riding on this feeling of complete ecstasy. Never with Lord Kamijo when he took me did I feel like this and never with Hitaru did I feel like this, only this one time and with Sir Saga.

I don't know when I bit my own tongue with my fangs, but I did it, before biting into Sir Saga's neck and let my blood enter his body and mix with his. I had came within him, he had came between our bodies. It was done, we did as Lord Kamijo wanted, put on a show for everyone.

I heard a gasp from someone who was watching us. I pulled my mouth away from Sir Saga's neck, wanting to see who it was, but then I felt it, the pain in my neck as Sir Saga pulled his fangs out. We looked at each other, shock written on our faces. I could feel his emotion of confusion in my head. I knew it was his because I wasn't confused. I knew what I had done against my better judgment.

Then Lord Kamijo was clapping from the side, he had a pleased look about him. His elegant smile and piercing violet eyes looked at the two of us. Then panic rose in my head, Sir Saga was panicking and I knew why as the thoughts from his panic attack ran through my head. He was a married man, he couldn't mate another man or be with another knowing he had given his heart to another. Though, I was impressed by how well-composed he presented himself while having this panic attack. He didn't let it show how much it was affecting him.

I didn't feel the need to panic or be confused by what happened. I was accepting of it and I would figure it out later. It wasn't my first time mating someone and being connected like this, but it was my first time of it happening without having control of it. I had forced myself on mating with Hitaru and Rocko, but with Sir Saga, it was natural.

~End of Tora's POV~

Kamijo sat there, clapping his hands as the two were there stuck together still, afraid to move for whatever reason. “Bravo you two. I'm shocked this didn't happen sooner.” He laughed lightly.

Daisuke, who was holding Ami tightly to his chest, looked over at Kamijo. “What are you saying, My Lord?” He was biting back the anger of what he had witnessed. He knew that Saga loved another. He cried to Daisuke, knowing he had lost a man who had done everything for him and Ami.

“You see, Sir Daisuke,” Kamijo pointed to the two half-dressed men in the room. “Tora has been without a proper partner, being turned and all. And seeing Sir Saga heartbroken over a man who never marked him, these two were meant to be. You just saw the same thing I did. They couldn't help themselves. It's rare to find your mate, even more rarer for a turned Vampire even to have a mate.”

Kamijo's words sunk into Tora's head. Mate? It was common for Alphas and Omegas to find a mate, someone they connected with and felt a strong desire to be with. They were like two incomplete sides of a puzzle coming together to complete a picture. However, with the decline in Alphas being born, the idea of mates became more of a fairy tale than a reality. And for Tora, who was a turned Vampire, having a mate was next to impossible. Humans didn't mate. They just fell in love with each other and turned Vampires were the same, though, on rare occasions, they found someone they connected with. This must have been one of those rare occasions for Tora. He always thought it was Kamijo who he had a strong connection with, that they were meant to be together, but with what had happened, he needed time to think it over.

“I see.” Saga sighed, one arm still around Tora's neck as he looked between their connected bodies. He understood what Kamijo was saying, it was why he never felt the need to have Toshiya around when he first found out he was pregnant and as time went on between the two and their get-to-know-each-other dates, Saga fell in love. He fell in love with Toshiya by getting to know him, not by some invisible connection that he just felt with Tora. He couldn't say he loved Tora, but the connection made him feel it.

“Great,” Ryoji stood up. “Ruin a perfectly good live-action porno with feelings. I'm out of here.” No one was stopping him and Kamijo didn't care that Ryoji was leaving the room. He sipped his blood wine. Though, Ryoji forgot one thing. To pay his respects to Kamijo.

Gregory chuckled from where he sat with his Omega. “I take it this is why the two are still connected at the hip?”

And Gregory's words made Tora and Saga realize they should pull away from one another. Tora's limp cock slid easily out of Saga and bounced against the thigh of his slacks before he placed himself back into his underwear and fastened his pants up. A stain created from bodily fluids was evident on his slacks. He would either throw the suit away or have Junno dry-clean it. Usually, he had the servants do it, but this was a little personal for him.

Saga, on the other hand, felt more embarrassed now than ever before. Tora removing himself was like removing a cork from his ass. As soon as the appendage wasn't there anymore, Tora's seed started slowly making its way out of his body. He was half sitting, half leaning against the table. Then it hit him, or rather, a red button-up shirt hit him in the face. Daisuke had removed his shirt for Saga to clean up. Ami sat curled into the couch on the other side, covering her ears. Saga sighed. He never wanted Ami to see him this way.

Tora straightened himself up, buttoning up his shirt and running a hand through his black hair to slick it back into place. He turned around to face Kamijo. “Are you satisfied, My Lord?” Tora was having mixed feelings and mixed thoughts about everything now when he looked into those violet eyes of the man who he thought he loved.

“Very.” Kamijo had that elegant appeal to him as he held his goblet in one hand with a leg over his other leg. “That's it for this evening. I hoped you were all satisfied with tonight's unexpected entertainment. And let it be a lesson, as well.” Kamijo laughed lightly as he got up and started leaving the library.

“Have a pleasant evening, Lord Kamijo.” Tora bowed as Kamijo left. The others had stood and bowed, besides Ami, who remained curled up on the couch.

“I wonder if he has forgotten about me?” Kamijo's wife spoke, as she was still in the library with them. “Anyways, I did enjoy the entertainment tonight and being a part of the mating ritual. Those rituals were a thing in the past, only Blood Ties were allow to preform them to show the rest of us and Lord Kamijo that they were serious about their partnership. It would sealed the unbreakable bond between them.”

Tora rolled his eyes. “That was no ritual, I remember exactly how they went. The couple would share a cup of their mixed together blood, then with the remaining blood they would draw their initials over the heart of the one they wanted to mate, before preforming and marking each other for everyone to see.”

“The drinking of their mixed blood was just to make sure they weren't poisonous to each other. One's blood could be a poison to another, and drinking that blood would burn one or both of them.” Kamijo's wife informed Tora. Tora may have been older than her, but she learned more of the old ways from Kamijo. “Of course, everyone being Blood Ties, their blood could never be poisonous to each other since Lord Kamijo's blood was used to turn them and it was passed down their bloodline.”

Daisuke was about to open his mouth, when Nori walked in. “Lady, Lord Kamijo has sent me to fetch you and escort our guests from the castle. Now, if you all will follow me.”

Gregory and his Omega, with Victoria started towards the exit of the library. Saga had finished putting his clothes on and sighed. Daisuke helped Ami up from the couch and kept her close to him. Tora was following them all out of the library as Kamijo's wife and Nori led the way. Seeing Saga carrying Daisuke's soiled shirt, Tora took it from him. “Let me deal with this.”

“Don’t bother. It's too small for me anyway.” Daisuke shook his head. “Just toss it away for me.”

Tora nodded his head. Since he lived in the castle, he didn't join the others in the main lobby to say their goodbyes. He headed right for the stairs to go to his room on the third floor.

~Tora's POV~

It was a restless night for me. Once I had made my way into my room and locked the door, I let my emotions get the better of me. I growled in frustration, I cried in confusion, and I laughed in desperation. I let it all out in one night.

There were too many conflicting emotions for me to handle at once. I loved Lord Kamijo, and I wanted him to love me back. All these years, I wanted his approval. I trained hard for him, killed for him, and even pretended to love others for him. It was just never enough for him. He never looked at me the same way he did when he took me to bed the first time, the time I fell in love with him. It was foggy in mind, but I remember his violet eyes shining brightly in the darkness of his room. Those pure white fangs extending out from behind his lip. His wavy blond hair curtaining around us. It was just the two of us in that moment, it was meant to be my punishment, but I fell in love with him.

The second time it happened, Lord Kamijo was rougher and had me blindfolded. But I knew, I knew it was him and I cried out in pleasure for him to keep going. That was the second and last time he ever touched me in that way. He used other ways to threaten me. Knowing he had only used sex as a threat and knew I enjoyed it, I thought if I did well for him, he'd treat me, reward me with sex, but it never happened.

Years went by, I was forced to take on missions for him to get closer to a person and claim them as mine. Lord Kamijo taught me the way to reverse the bond, he didn't want me marked. I thought that meant he loved me as well and wanted me to be unmarked for him. That was never the case, I was so naïve in believing he would one day mark me and take me to bed with him.

Then I ran across a farm during one of my missions. I didn't think anything of it, but I smelt salty tears in the air of a young Vampire and heard the grunting of an older Vampire. Had either of them been human, I would have continued on, but I needed to know, needed to see. What I was looking for, I couldn't remember, but that young boy, he seemed too young and frail. The older Vampire disgusted me in that moment. I acted out angrily and killed him. I left the farm that night with a little shadow stalker. Why the young boy followed me, I didn't know at the time, but it was starting to interrupt my thoughts on my mission.

Luckily, I completed my mission and my little shadow stalker wasn't phased by the gore of the scene. In fact, he was moving around making sure everyone I killed was fully dead. He reminded me of myself at that young age, exploring and wandering around where I knew I shouldn't be. That was how I stumbled upon Lord Kamijo.

Being a young Vampire, he probably didn't know at the time, but he was starving, starving for blood. The red starting to outline his light brown eyes told me so. I could have killed him right then and there, end his suffering, but I didn't. I found a human wandering the streets at night and they became my victim. I didn't need to feed as often, Lord Kamijo's blood satisfied my hunger for weeks, but this young boy following me needed to feed.

I only offered the human to the young boy, thinking he would have refused, but he took to drinking the blood right away. It surprised me, the young boy was more understanding of what he was than I was at a young age.

Once he was fed, I asked him simple questions about himself as I went to find shelter for us from the sun. First was his name. Hitaru. Next was how old he was now. 13, but he had been a Vampire for 5. The young boy was turned when he was only 9, I was shocked to learn this. No wonder the young boy looked too young. My last question was where was his family? I had an idea that they may have been attacked and he was just taken, but I needed to know his story. Hitaru went on and on explaining how poor his family was, when he met the man who paid for him, how he worked day and night on the farm, and that most nights the man would come out of his house and hurt Hitaru over and over again. Once he was turned by accident, he was stuck living inside the barn and worked on keeping the animals fed and their stalls cleaned. The man would come out every night after, have his way, and only leave a small cup of blood for him to drink every few days. I had found shelter from the sun for us and luckily the young boy talked himself to sleep. I dozed off once his voice became quiet.

After that day, I kept Hitaru close to me. Maybe I felt I could see myself in this young boy and I wanted to raise him like Lord Kamijo raised me. However, I wanted to make him love me, like I loved Lord Kamijo, and crush his heart. I wanted to see how he would react. I trained him as I did my missions, his small stature was convenient for me. There was always a way to finish the job I was given, but there did come a time I would have to back off and leave the job for the next night. With Hitaru, I never needed to. He made the perfect decoy as he hid well in the shadows. He just lacked one thing, hiding his scent. If he were hunting me, I would have found him easily and killed him, but luckily we were dealing with idiots.

I had Hitaru with me for almost three years, training him into an assassin and making him want my approval. I decided to take him with me to the island to meet Lord Kamijo. Something I regretted at the time. Lord Kamijo was displeased with me for caring for a child while I worked. I pleaded my case to him, the young boy was more than just a child; he was a natural-born killer. He'd only approved of Hitaru if I sent him on missions to complete by himself. I was left on the island as Hitaru went back to the mainland to complete a small number of missions while on a time frame.

To my surprise and Lord Kamijo's surprise as well, he did what he needed to accomplish in less time than was secretly given to him. I felt something happen in my heart; I was proud of the young boy. And Lord Kamijo said I could keep my pet. That hurt me more than I could let anyone know. Hitaru was someone, a fellow Vampire, not some pet. My love for Lord Kamijo died a little that day as I left the island with Hitaru.

Months turned into years, I was given numerous missions to complete. I felt it was Lord Kamijo's way of punishing me for Hitaru. And between the two of us, they were finished without fail. My plan had worked, I had Hitaru falling for me and I knew because of each little gesture I did, Hitaru's eyes told me he wanted more. Then I gave in eventually. I gave him what he wanted, he loved me and I loved him back.

Somehow, Lord Kamijo figured it out. I might have let my loyalty slip for him or he just knew by the hidden mark on my body. I didn't realize my scent would change when we marked each other. He started giving us missions that would have us in bed with another or two. The pain was there through our mark, and it got uncomfortable to deal with it for the both of us. I removed his mark from my body so Hitaru couldn't feel the pain of my infidelity and lied about it. I told him he didn't feel the pain anymore because our love for each other had grown deeper. Anytime he marked me, I made sure to knock him out right after and remove it.

After years of doing this, my love for Hitaru died. He was nothing but a nuisance to have around, but he was a skilled killer. Or so I thought my love for him died. I was once again being praised by Lord Kamijo and letting it get to my head. I would drop Hitaru for him if he asked, but somehow, it started to feel like a punishment having Hitaru around as Lord Kamijo would ask that Hitaru be there to write up a report to send to him.

To make matters worse, Lord Kamijo's wife talked me into giving Lord Kamijo a son. I thought I was doing the right thing, the way she talked me into it, but it backfired on us both. She got the bigger end of the punishment when Lord Kamijo finally figured it out. I was forced to become a bodyguard for Rocko Jones on top of keeping my other job assignments going. With no one to kill, Hitaru outlived his usefulness too.

After that, I never denied Lord Kamijo's orders or showed I wasn't loyal to him. I kept my charade of loving Hitaru and made Rocko Jones want me all for Lord Kamijo's approval, again.

Then Master Kenji had to be dealt with, and my world got turned right upside down and I had to played well with everyone. Lord Kamijo was done with Rocko Jones, he was done with Hitaru, he only wanted me to deal with Master Kenji, as Rocko Jones was too head over heel for me and not falling for Master Kenji. Clearly this was a mistake on Lord Kamijo's part, thinking he knew Master Kenji's type. Then came Hitaru who was supposed to be done in by me, but I had no motivation to kill someone I loved once upon a time. Lord Kamijo told me his plans for Hitaru, wanting to see my reaction, and I accepted them. Make sure Hitaru got close to Master Kenji, make Master Kenji fail at whatever task I gave him, and have Hitaru killed to motivate Master Kenji to do better and over work himself. However, Lord Kamijo knew little about Master Kenji's skills and that Master Kenji even helped plan Hitaru's fake death behind my back. I was thankful to Master Kenji for saving Hitaru's life, but it didn't end there.

Now, I was in a real mess, a mess of my own emotions and understanding on how I felt. I realized I didn't love Lord Kamijo, I was only infatuated by him. He was my sire, I looked up to him for years, I was just another childe he created. Hitaru I fucked up with, I made him fall for me against his will, I did to him what Lord Kamijo did to me and I fell for him against my better judgment.

This mating bond and connection I had with Sir Saga confused me now. I had the desire to be with him. I acted on it. I lost control of myself in the heat of the moment. We had never been close in all the years I knew him. But once the bond was completed, I felt like I regained a part of myself I had been missing my whole life. I felt complete, a fog in my head had cleared fully, I was a different person now. I yearned to be close to him. This wasn't like the love I had for Lord Kamijo and Hitaru, it was much more than that and I knew if I acted on it anymore, Lord Kamijo would use it against me.

As the sun rose in the sky and shined into the room, I felt it's burning rays burn my flesh. I quickly closed the curtains and rushed around to my dresser. I had a vials of the serum created by the Blue Roses Clan to help Vampires like me walk in the sun. However, what was supposed to last a year, only lasted a week for me. Lord Kamijo said it was because what they used was regular-turned-Vampires turned by other turned Vampires. Lord Kamijo was not turned, so I wasn't a normal turned Vampire, and I already knew this.

Searching my drawers, I cursed. I had used my last one already and the only way to get anymore was to go back to the mainland, that wasn't happening any time soon. I sighed. I couldn't leave the castle now, not during the day, at least. Thankfully when Lord Kamijo designed this castle, most rooms didn't have windows, but bedrooms were one of the main rooms that did have windows. That and the throne room. The second and third floor hallways had windows but not the main floor and the rooms on the main floor didn't have windows either. I would have to hide myself from the sun, but it wasn't a hard task with windows only being in certain areas.

I grabbed my phone off the charger and took a look, I had a few messages, but none of them from Lord Kamijo, so I put my phone down and began to get ready for the day with a shower. The shower was nice. I felt my muscles lose tension in them from a long night of being over-emotional. I needed to take my emotions now and put them in my back pocket, I couldn't let them be my weakness. After my shower, I started drying off my body, when I noticed myself in the mirror. On my left shoulder, near my neck, was the mate mark Sir Saga had left on me. I touched it and I felt a pressure in my head. I quickly removed my hand and the pressure in my head disappeared, along with the feeling of shock. I wasn't shocked by it.

It had been too many years, too many long years since I was fully mated to Hitaru. The bond in the mate mark would connect me to my mate, I could feel their emotions and that was all. This time I was feeling more than just emotions, I could hear thoughts. This was bad, very bad. I couldn't have Sir Saga knowing my thoughts, not now. I thought hard to myself and remembered what I needed to break the bond. Cloves of garlic and wolfsbane, and I needed Sir Saga’s permission. It wasn't like it was with Hitaru, where I could knock him out against his will with drugs so he didn't feel the anguish I was in from it. And this time, I was sure Sir Saga didn't want to be mated to me. He was a married man, and even if he thought Toshiya was dead, I knew he was alive.

Somehow, I have to get on with my day with thoughts in the back of my head on how I was going to deal with this. Even if I wasn't on the mainland, Red Dragons Trading Company was still in my hands and I did all my work from the laptop I had. When Master Kenji worked there as CEO for a month, there weren't any noticeable changes that I or Lord Kamijo could see at the time. He caught the person stealing from our inventory, and from there, managing the other companies inside the Trading Company now became my job. I had to deal with invoices and inventory. Whatever else the secretary did for work got pushed into my lap. As well as my previous assignments. And it was a headache, especially when the owners of those companies with the Trading Company couldn't figure out their shit.

One thing I can say I was surprised about, was how Master Kenji, who looked to be slacking off the whole time he was there, actually made changes. Our profit margins were doing great now. It was slow, which is why Lord Kamijo and I didn't notice it, but our owing numbers were slowly climbing out of the negatives. If Lord Kamijo wanted a total change, to see us making money for the island again, he should have kept Master Kenji on as CEO. He may have had help in getting those degrees, but it paid off. Now, he was probably using all that knowledge he had to sell drugs and make a profit off of them. The kid was smart, I had to give him credit.

Now, if only I had gone to University and gotten degrees, I might actually be good at doing my job. Instead, I was only doing what Lord Kamijo taught me and what I self-taught myself. I had no time to go to school. In fact, I had never been to school. Lord Kamijo was my teacher and I learned everything off of him. Even our writing styles were the same, and he would get me to sign off on things if he wasn't around to do so. Or write out letters and such to others. My job as his right-hand man was no joke. I could literally be his right hand if he couldn't write anymore.

Around lunchtime, I got an unexpected call. It was from Sir Daisuke. I didn't understand why he was calling, we never talked outside of the throne room. I picked up my phone and answered it. He sounded tired, much like how I felt. He asked how I was doing. I said I was doing well, just gathering paperwork for Lord Kamijo to sign this afternoon. He grunted in my ear before telling me I should get a life and look at my phone more often before he hung up on me. I did look at my phone, he had hung up on me, and his name flashed on the screen before it returned to its standard screen.

I saw the icons on the screen and I had well over 10+ text messages, none of them from Lord Kamijo. As Lord Kamijo had a personal icon for messages from him. I shook my head, whatever Sir Daisuke wanted to talk to me about, he would have just said it over the phone. The text messages could wait.

Pocketing my phone, I went to go meet Lord Kamijo for lunch in the dining hall. Sir Nori had beat the both of us there. He was sitting, waiting for us with a smug look on his face when he saw me enter. He was up to no good, I just knew it, but to find evidence of it would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. He was just too good at covering his tracks.

Lord Kamijo walked in, and Sir Nori and I stood up to bow to him, before retaking our seats. Three plates of food were set on the table for us three. Sir Nori was an Angel, so solid food wasn't something he could handle. In fact, I couldn't understand that. Angels basically survived on water mainly, but I have seen them drinking broths and such. But Sir Nori instead stuck to water. I didn't dare touch food unless it was to start the meal for Lord Kamijo. And Lord Kamijo never ate but wanted food served just for the smell of it. It was a waste, really, but then again, food that wasn't touched did get eaten by the staff members after the plates were cleared away. I witness this myself without them knowing. The only person to eat their food was Lord Kamijo's wife, but she only ate in her room unless we had guests in the castle.

I handed the papers I had brought with me to be signed by Lord Kamijo. He glanced at a few of them, before asking what they all permitted. I explained each one in a few sentences as Lord Kamijo would pick one up to read. He nodded his head before setting only a small handful to the side and passed the others to me to sign off for him. Those he set to the side would be looked through by him or discarded.

Lord Kamijo looked towards Sir Nori and told him Master Ryoji mentioned to him that Hayden wasn't around the castle anymore. Sir Nori had a look about him, his eyes shifted and I heard his heart skip a beat, but he was quick to recover before explaining. It seems Hayden didn't want to be around anymore and tried to escape. Knowing Lord Kamijo's rules, Sir Nori quickly disposed of him. He left Hayden's body to the wolves.

Either he was guilty of killing Hayden or he was lying about it, I wasn't sure, but Lord Kamijo was pleased. He didn't want that Angel around the castle. He was hearing bad things about what he and Master Ryoji were up to, and he wasn't pleased about it. I knew what they were up to but kept my mouth shut.

With that, Lord Kamijo gave us our tasks for the afternoon. He wanted Sir Nori to go down to the dungeon and check on everyone, and he wanted me to go out and check with a few store owners before picking up Master Ryoji from school. I didn't want to, but I had to. I told him I couldn’t step foot outside the castle. His violet eyes narrowed at me, and I didn't see it coming till it was too late.

Damn that Vampire Speed to hell and back. Lord Kamijo slapped me across the face and had me skidding across the floor when I fell out of my seat. I placed my hand on my cheek as I stood up, I couldn't show any weakness. It was only a single hit. He cursed me for being a useless Vampire and turned to Sir Nori. He instructed that Sir Nori do all that he had asked both of us to do before he left the throne room. It wasn't my fault he was the one who turned me. I was the only Vampire on the whole island who couldn't step a foot outside.

Sir Nori chuckled after Lord Kamijo left. He was finding my situation to be humorous. I didn't think so. He made a suggestion, the suggestion was returning me to my human self. I glared at him and told him I'd never want to be human again before I picked up the papers I had brought and left the dining room. It was the truth, I would never want to be human. In all my years, I found humans to be vulnerable to Vampires and living with Vampires, I'd be weak to their intentions. I'd rather stay living as the living dead, even if it meant I had to be a night crawler. It wasn't something I wasn't used to, in fact most of my life I lived out of the sunlight. It was only a small set back, but I knew Lord Kamijo would still need me. He just didn't like having the inconvenience I presented, but now that he knew, he would work me around it.

As I returned upstairs to my room, which was my work space as well, I sat at my desk and started going through the papers Lord Kamijo wanted me to sign. Mindlessly, I signed them in his signature. I knew what each one was about, so I didn't need to read them. That's how I spent the first half of the afternoon. The second half of my afternoon, I finished up dealing with business as usual.

By the time supper time rolled around, I debated leaving my room, till I felt pressure in my head. It must be Lord Kamijo calling for me, so I left to make my way to the dining hall. There, Sir Nori and Master Ryoji sat, Master Ryoji was eating his food. I asked where Lord Kamijo was and Sir Nori shrugged for an answer.

If he wasn't here, then he was in his private chambers. I headed to Lord Kamijo's private chambers and knocked on the door. I was called in and opened the door to see Sir Daisuke standing there in front of Lord Kamijo's desk.

~End of Tora's POV~

“Good, where is your cellphone, Sir Tora?” Daisuke walked over to Tora and held out his hand.

“I'm not giving you my phone, Sir Daisuke.” Tora pushed the hand away and walked over to Kamijo's desk. “What is this about, My Lord?”

Kamijo sat back in his chair, a graceful smile on his face as he spoke. “Seems Sir Daisuke was telling me he was trying to contact you all night and day, but you have been ignoring him.”

“Not ignoring him, My Lord. I didn't even open the messages.” Tora looked over at Daisuke. “If it was seriously important, he would have told me over the phone when he called me earlier.”

“You bastard!” Daisuke was losing his cool. He stepped up to Tora, they were equal in height. The only difference was Daisuke was an Alpha, muscular body stature, where Tora was lean and fit.

“Now, now. No fighting in my chambers.” Kamijo shook his head. “Well, Sir Tora isn't wrong. You could have spoken to him when you called, but since he is here, why not have your discussion now.”

“All due respect, Lord Kamijo, this discussion is a private one. One I do not wish to involve you in.” Daisuke didn't take his eyes off of Tora.

“You came here, you demanded to talk to Sir Tora,” Kamijo was pointing out. “You have involved me in this situation.”

Daisuke growled lowly in his throat, his Alpha pheromones were seeping out around him. “Never mind then. It's not important to Sir Tora. “ He turned on his heels and left the room.

Tora raised a questioning brow. He wanted to follow after Daisuke and get to the bottom of this, but Kamijo was sitting right here and like he said, Daisuke did get Kamijo involved and to chase after him for answers would only upset Kamijo.

Kamijo cleared his throat. “I realize I might have been too harsh on you earlier, Sir Tora.”

Tora turned to Kamijo and shook his head. “Nonsense, My Lord. I refused to do as you ordered because I wouldn't step out of the castle.”

“No, I was out of line, Sir Tora.” Kamijo reached into his desk and pulled out a jewel crested dagger. Tora had seen this blade a few times and knew what was coming. “Here, you need your fill.” Kamijo took the blade to wrap his hand around it over an empty glass and slowly pulled the dagger out of his hand. His rich scented blood filled the room as he filled the glass with his blood.

“Thank you, My Lord.” Tora took the offered glass of blood when Kamijo finished and started drinking it's contents back. Ancient blood was so addicting and fulfilling for someone like Tora that he couldn't just sip it, he had to drink it all in one go, but he did so slowly.

Once the blood contents from the glass were gone, Tora placed the glass on the table. He was thankful Kamijo still thought of him and even still offered up his own blood. Tora knew he was the only one to drink Kamijo's blood after being turned. None of his Blood Ties did. However, the night of the masquerade party was the only other time anyone drank Kamijo's blood, but Tora didn't drink any. He was glad for that, after learning it was poisoned.

“Now, you may not get along well with Sir Daisuke, but I think you should take a moment to read through those messages he sent you. If it's any indication, these messages are important to him.” Kamijo said, once Tora put the glass down. “A man like him doesn't storm into my castle without reason, Sir Tora.”

“Yes, I will, My Lord.” Tora bowed before making his way out of the room. Kamijo didn't stop him which was a good sign. Once he was heading back up the stairs, he pulled out his phone to read these messages.

SIR SAGA – We need to talk, Sir Tora.
SIR SAGA – Please, Sir Tora. It's about what happened.
SIR SAGA – Tora, answer me, please.
SIR SAGA – You are feeling overwhelmed, I feel it too. Just call me when you're ready.
SIR DAISUKE – Sir Tora, hurry up and answer your text to Sir Saga.
SIR DAISUKE – Answer him, Sir Tora!
SIR DAISUKE – Bastard, what did you do?
SIR DAISUKE – You are a selfish fucking prick! Next time I see you, I'm going to cut your fucking dick off and put it in a jar for you to look at while you bleed out.
SIR DAISUKE – ANSWER YOUR FUCKING MESSAGES!
SIR DAISUKE - I'm calling you in a few, you better pick up!

Tora wasn't surprised by the messages he received. At least Saga was the most understanding one, probably had to do with him being an Omega. But the threats of Daisuke was clearly the Alpha’s outrage. Try as he might to push back the thoughts of what happened, he had to talk to Saga, but not through a device. The sun was setting outside, so it was fine for him to leave the castle and drive to Saga's mansion.

Getting there in less than ten minutes, Tora parked the car he borrowed from Kamijo's collection and walked up the steps to the main door. He rang the doorbell and waited for it to be answered. And when it was answered, it was Ami who opened the door.

“Hello, Sir Tora. What can I do for you?” Ami kept her voice down and didn't announce his arrival. It wasn't her duty to do that, but the way she was acting told Tora his appearance might not be welcomed.

“I came to talk to Sir Saga.” Tora looked at Ami, before he ran a hand through his slicked back hair. “Is Sir Daisuke here?”

Ami nodded her head. “Yes, do you still wish to come inside?”

“I've already rang the door bell, so they might already know I am here.” Tora couldn't allow for her to lie for him. He couldn't turn away now after making the trip here. He might as well face the music.

Ami opened the door wide, letting Tora walked through the threshold. “They are in the back room actually. They wouldn't have known you rang the door bell.” Ami told him.

Tora smiled slightly at her words. She didn't give it away till he had entered the mansion and since his presence was now in the mansion, his arrival would be known. “I have never been here before, could you show me the way?” He asked.

“Not a problem, Sir Tora.” Ami closed the door behind him and walked a few steps in front of him. “Just follow me.”

The mansion was beautifully decorated. With relics on the wall or on side tables as they walked down a few hallways, there seemed to be a different theme down each hallway. When they got to the end of one of the hallways, Ami grabbed both door handles and opened the doors to reveal the back room. It was a large room filled with gym equipment and both Daisuke and Saga were chatting as they exercised.

“Sir Tora has arrived.” Ami announced Tora's appearance, making the two stop what they were doing. She gave Tora a sweet smile as she shut the doors to the room, leaving just the three of them alone. Daisuke was on a chest press machine, with no shirt on, still wearing the same jeans he had on when Tora saw him before. And nearby, Saga had been busy on an elliptical machine, wearing a loose t-shirt and shorts. Daisuke must have left the castle and come here to express his frustrations by exercising.

“Oh, now you want to talk?” Daisuke snarled. “You won't answer your fucking phone for us, but I get Lord Kamijo involved and you'll come to us. Good to know for the fucking future.”

Saga climbed off the machine he was on and sighed. “Ignore him, Tora. He's been on edge lately because of problems at the hospital and last night's event was just the cherry on top.”

“What's going on at the hospital?” Tora knew it wasn't his business, but for it to get Daisuke worked up, it couldn't be good.

“Let's see.” Daisuke sat up on the bench of the machine. “Once every couple nights, I have an emergency call to come deal with a Vampire or two who's losing their shit. And almost every day, I have a handful of humans or Angels coming in because of a Vampire attack. We aren't turned Vampires here, Sir Tora, so when we don't keep up a good blood supply in our systems, we start to loose our minds. Feral turned Vampires can eventually be tamed to return to their senses if they drink enough blood and pass out, I've done the tests. Alphas and Omegas, we can survive on food, but only for so long. Then the blood loss starts, we stop producing blood and our hearts stop. Once the heart stops, the brain lacks all function and you get a feral Vampire where there is no coming out of, because they are dead. It used to be a rare occurrence, but it's becoming a regular thing.”

“Okay, let me get this straight.” Tora found this information interesting but wanted to be sure he understood the doctor. “Turned Vampires are already dead, so when they turn feral, it can be reversed?”

“Yes, that is what I said.” Daisuke rolled his eyes.

“And your kind, Alphas and Omegas, are alive, but when they become brain dead, they die and turn feral, but it can't be reversed?” Tora asked.

“Again, that's exactly what I fucking said.” Daisuke growled in frustration. “And I've done the tests before to see if it was possible to bring them back to life. It's not. Once you die, you're dead. This reanimation process that transpires is the body's way of thinking it's alive and just needs to feed itself and it just so happens the last thing it needed to stay alive was blood.”

“Don’t you need a functioning brain for that process to happen?” Tora question Daisuke more. “The brain is the only thing that can send signals to the body to move and function. The reason for turned Vampires to be the living dead is that our brains are still functioning.”

Daisuke shook his head. “In a living specimen, the brain helps send messages to the body to move, even your brain does, Sir Tora. However, the body has neurons that release chemicals to the muscle fibers. The muscle fibres contract, making the muscles move. Thus when we become feral, it's only our body's last ditch effort to keep us alive. And it can't survive that way either. Most of the tests I have done the body was only able to function for less than a week. So, when our kind does turn feral, it'd only be that way for a week tops, before the body finally dies.”

“I see.” Tora ran a hand through his hair. “Have you informed Lord Kamijo about this?”

“No,” Daisuke sighed, bending forward and hanging his head down. “What the hell is he going to do or say? I might as well just continue to kill those that turn and save those that have been attacked.”

Saga sighed heavily. “And it's taken a toll on him. You know that his ability to save others requires extensive energy and a high volume of blood intake. With the shortage of blood, Daisuke has had to fall back on his medical practices to save lives. He isn't even getting enough sleep to perform on the operating table. People are demanding for him, but he's turned them all away.”

“I haven't been home in weeks. I don't trust myself to be alone.” Daisuke looked up at Tora with tired eyes. “I come here after work, workout my frustrations, go to a meeting if I have to, and pass out here for an hour or two. Saga has been making sure to wake me up in time to get ready for my next shift.” He sat back against the backrest of the work out bench. “The hospital is also running low on supplies. Another month or so of this port shut down and I'm going to have to shut the hospital down for good. And don't say I should reach out to other doctor offices around for supplies. They have already sent everything they had, closed their doors and came to the hospital to work.”

“Damn, it is getting bad.” Tora scratched the back of his head, thinking an idea over. “We need to bring this up with Lord Kamijo. If I can get it approved, our Trading Company has medical supplies. We just need one ship to send supplies our way, and we can unload it ourselves. It's the only way.”

“Don’t bother. We all know something is up in Lord Kamijo's head.” Saga looked at Daisuke and Tora as they turned to look at him. “It's true. Lord Kamijo has this master plan and we can't know about any details to it until it's already started.”

Daisuke and Tora both nodded their heads. They both understood what Saga was saying. As advisors, they should know at least a head of time before anything happens, perhaps give their opinion on it. And now Kamijo has three more advisors who will soon learn that Kamijo doesn't take their guidance, just wants them there for entertainment, more or less.

Daisuke slapped his hands down on his thighs before he stood up. “Now, there is something you two should be discussing and you don't need me here for it, so I'll take my leave and go for a shower. Saga, Tora.” He nodded his head at both of them, saying his farewell before leaving them alone.

Tora closed his eyes for a moment. He had to choose his words wisely. They were both probably on the same page about this whole mating bond thing. Neither of them wanted it, but it happened. When he opened his eyes, he was caught off guard; Saga stood before him, but that wasn't what was shocking. Saga had grabbed his face and initiated a kiss between them.

Placing his hands on Saga's shoulders to gently push him back, Tora opened his mouth. “What are you doing? You are a married man!”

Saga shook his head. “I'm a widower, I have been for the last 13 years.” He started moving his hands on Tora's tie, undoing it before starting on the buttons of his shirt. “I need this, Tora. Let's just forget about the world for tonight and live in the moment.”

Saga was right, Tora wanted this, just as Saga needed it, but he was holding back. “I feel wrong about it, Saga. No matter what, you are married.” Tora's hands were moving on their own it seemed, he was already lifting Saga's shirt up on his body and over his head.

Tora's shirt was being pulled down off his body and down his arms along with his jacket. “Just for tonight, let's forget about it, please?” Saga looked up at Tora with pleading eyes as his hands moved to the front of Tora's slacks.

Tora rolled his eyes back. He could understand Saga's desperation for attention, he had craved it and wanted it from Kamijo for a long time. Maybe this mating bond wouldn't be so bad, as his hands travel down Saga’s sides and to his workout shorts. He pulled at the tie and let them drop down as he pulled Saga's boxers down on his thighs. “Just for tonight, it'll be just the two of us.”

Saga started placing feather-like kisses down Tora's slightly muscular chest and abs, as he pulled Tora's underwear and slacks down with him. When he got to his knees, he took Tora's semi-hard cock into his mouth and started sucking on the long appendage, making the blood rush and engorge in his mouth. Saga realized it had been a while since he performed a blow job, but he didn’t give up. The more he bobbed his head, bit by bit he took Tora's entire length in his mouth and into his throat till his nose was buried in black pubes.

Tora's hand had made it into Saga's hair and guided him forward but at Saga's pace. No one had ever taken him fully in their mouth, so he was shocked and enjoying this new feeling of being surrounded by the warmth of Saga's mouth. Saga had talent that Tora never experienced before and this bond between them intensified it. As he was being pleasured, Saga’s scent was getting more stronger in arousal to the point he was moaning around Tora's cock.

Precum was dripping from Saga's cock as Tora's was going down his throat. Saga never felt so aroused pleasuring another, he was going to cum from giving foreplay instead of receiving it. He wanted to give Tora everything he possibly could before he came, but a thought or rather someone else's thought entered his mind. 'Shit, I'm going to blow.' And the thought wasn't even in his own inside voice, but in Tora's voice.

Shocked by the thought in his head, Saga pulled back. His mouth was wet with his saliva and he looked up at Tora from the floor. The feeling of being close to cumming was going away. “Did you say something?”

Tora looked down at Saga, his hand was still in Saga's dark brown hair. He petted the Omega's head and shook his head. “No, I didn't say a thing.” Desire was in Tora's dark eyes for Saga.

“I swear you said you were going to blow?” Saga questioned what he heard. His hands were on Tora's hips.

Tora licked his lips, sighing softly after. “I did say that, but in my head.”

“Oh,” Saga was realizing it now. The mate bond between them allowed them to understand each other telepathically. He was sure last night he had incomplete thoughts enter his head, but he didn't understand it then, but came to a conclusion that maybe they needed the space to work through their thoughts as he wasn't understanding his own.

“We can feel what the other is feeling through our bond, Saga.” Tora quickly explained. “Maybe this telepathic thing is normal too.”

“Yeah, maybe you’re right. I've never been mated before.” Saga smiled sweetly. “But how about we continue and stop talking.”

“Fine by me.” Tora slightly smiled back and got down on his knees in front of Saga.

Saga got the hint and turned around, with his ass up in the air for Tora. However, when he expected to feel Tora's engorged cock, he felt a soft wet muscle protruding into him as Tora's hands were on his cheeks, spreading them apart. Was Tora really eating his ass? He looked behind himself as much as he could to see Tora's face behind him. Saga whimpered softly. He had felt this type of foreplay before, working in one of his brothels, so he was no stranger to it. He just never expected Tora to be like this. His proper behavior and obedience to Kamijo, made Saga think Tora was a stiff in bed.

Last night was influenced by Kamijo, so when Tora took charge, Saga was sure it was only to entertain Kamijo, not themselves. However, they both enjoyed it and it was unexpected of them to mate.

Tora worked his tongue around Saga's puckered hole. All around, in and out, using his drool essentially to ready Saga. Sure, being an Omega, there was always natural lubricant there, but he wanted to ensure Saga was well prepared. And when he was satisfied, having himself and Saga panting for more friction, he pulled away and got into position behind Saga.

Saga folded his arms in front of him, resting his head on them as he panted lightly. With his rear end up, he wiggled his hips in anticipation.

And Tora didn't deny either of them as he thrusts his hips forward, watching Saga’s hole swallow up his length. It felt right for both of them. It felt like they were made for each other as Tora moved his hips and watched his length appear and disappear. He nibbled on his lower lip, listening to Saga moaning under him.

The foreplay between the both of them had them on edge. Saga's cock was dripping, his balls tightening. Tora's engorged member was twitching inside, ready for discharge. Only a few quick thrusts and Tora pulled out just as his seed spilled, coating Saga's thighs. Saga didn't have anytime to complain that Tora pulled out as his seed covered his abs and the floor under him.

Tora sat back on his heels, catching his breath. The foreplay was too much, and neither of them lasted long. But, his cock was still ready for more. He was ready to keep going, but he didn't want to force Saga.

Saga had moved from his position and started turning around, he wasn't done yet and seeing Tora's member still hard and ready, he jumped on it. Pushing Tora back on the floor, and climbing on top of the turned Vampire, he wasted no time lowering himself on that standing tall soldier. Together they moaned, sensitive they were, but desiring it was needed.

Up and down, Saga bounced slowly on Tora. His head was thrown back as wanton moans of ecstasy escaped his lips. Tora had reached for Saga's leaky member, stroking it firmly. It was pure blissfulness as they equally felt pleasure.

Tora's back started arching every time Saga raised on his knees. He'd never been drowning in so much pleasure before in his whole existence. Emotions were running high and their scents mixing together, he knew it couldn't last, it wasn't going to last long.

Picking up the pace, Saga was panting. He was so close again. It was hard to believe but he wasn't giving up that easily, he wanted it to last longer. He slapped Tora's hand away from his cock, but it did little to nothing to stop the build-up of pressure in his ball sac.

Tora grabbed onto Saga's hips, guiding him on his engorged member. He was close, almost there. A few more strokes and he quickly pulled out as Saga's cock started to cover his abs in cum. Tora's own cock covered not only his abs but his chest too, when he came.

Looking at each other as Saga sat on Tora's thighs there was admiration in their eyes for each other. They couldn't say it was love, they barely knew each other as a person, but through their bond, they desired each other more than they have desired anyone in their lives.

“You better not have used the equipment for your little rump.” Daisuke's voice was heard as he started entering the large room.

Saga, who was starting to blush, got off of Tora. He found his discarded shorts and put them on, before grabbing a sweat towel he had used earlier to clean the mess off his abs. “Ever heard of knocking?”

“Ever heard of locking the door?” Daisuke countered back, shaking his head at the scene before him. “You two were supposed to be talking, not fucking.”

Tora picked himself off the floor and grabbed the towel Saga held out to him. “Sorry, I don't know what came over us.” He was apologizing strangely. Then again, he was nude and feeling vulnerable about being in front of Daisuke.

“Never mind that.” Daisuke rubbed his nose with his finger. “Fuck, your pheromones are changing, Saga. This mating bond really does a number on you.” It wasn't hard to see the bulge growing in Daisuke's sweats he had changed into, but being as a professional doctor he hid the fact it was even affecting him.

Tora started gathering up his discarded belongings. “We do need to talk about this, Saga.” He sighed putting on his underwear and pants.

“Yes, we do.” Saga understood. “Go shower in one of the guest rooms. I need to shower myself.” He started heading out of the large room.

Daisuke waved to Tora. “Follow me. I'll show you to one, and I'll maybe grab a pair of scrubs for you. You ain't leaving here tonight.”

“Why do you say that?” Tora followed Daisuke down one of the hallways.

“I don't think Saga will let you.” Daisuke hinted, before opening a door to a bedroom.

A nice spacious room with decoration theme of a beach. Large seashells placed on the dresser and bedside tables. A large beach front view picture on the wall at the foot of the bed. Light blue and sandy coloured sheets and bedding on a queen size bed. The walls were a lighter sandy brown with light blue carpeting. Tora had to wonder who designed the room, but he was being pushed to a white on-suite bathroom.

“I'll set your change of clothes on the bed.” Daisuke said, before looking Tora up and down. “By the way, I would have mistaken you for an Alpha the way your packing.” He chuckled closing the bathroom door.

~Tora's POV~

It should have gone differently than how it did and I only have myself to blame. I was supposed to come here and hopefully figure out a way around this mating bond. But that didn't happen. The exact opposite happened. No matter what I could have said, Sir Saga wouldn't listen to me. I think of him as a married man because I know the truth, but he thinks of himself as a widower because he doesn't know the truth. If I reveal the truth, he would most likely feel guilty and probably be ashamed of himself. That was just one problem I was facing in this whole situation.

The other problem was no matter what truth I knew, it felt right, not wrong to be with Sir Saga. I was feeling myself yearning for his touch as I washed my body. Maybe, our connection was growing stronger because we were intimate again. I didn't fully feel like this last night.

Now that I think about it, I have never felt this way with anyone I mated before. The others and even Hitaru, the bond was there, but didn't make me crave this kind of affection. I might have to accept I found a true mate.

Even still, this couldn't be forever. I had to get Sir Saga to agree with me and reverse this. It was the only way. He didn't know it yet, but he was becoming one of my weaknesses and I couldn’t have that. Lord Kamijo would use this against me, I just knew it.

Finishing up with the washing, I turned off and stepped out of the shower. I noticed the towels on the side for my choosing and grabbed one. Drying off felt like a chore right at this moment. I knew once I stepped out of here and got dressed, I would have to face Sir Saga again. This time, I had to fight the yearning for him, get him to realize that Toshiya was still his husband without revealing what I knew. I just shouldn't be doing this with a married man.

That was the thought I was going to hold on to, simply so we could talk and discuss our situation. Having this thought repeating in my head was the best way for me to stay on topic. As I dressed, I continued to tell myself Sir Saga is a married man, but as I reached for the door handle to leave the room, I paused. It was 13 years ago when Toshiya was sent to the mainland. He didn't want to do as Sir Frances planned against Lord Kamijo. Last I saw of him, he was bloodied and bruised and like me at the time, worn out. I gave him the chance to walk away and I would tell Lord Kamijo he was dead, because we were equally matched and neither of us would walk away alive. He only walked away if I promised to keep an eye out for his daughter, Ami. I agreed and he walked away. I had no idea if he was alive or dead. Sir Saga could be telling the truth, he is a widower.

I let out a heavy sigh as I opened the door. Whether Toshiya was alive or dead, I couldn’t allow for this to continue.

~End of Tora's POV~

Saga sat there on the sofa in the sitting room with a concentrated look in his chestnut-coloured eyes. Daisuke was attempted to ask what he was thinking about, but if it had something to do with Tora, he would be no help. He remained single for a number of years because his profession called him away and also being one of Kamijo's advisors, there was no time for settling down. The other advisors had it easier than him, except Tora. He was managing the hospital, running experiments for Lord Kamijo and working in the hospital most of the time. He only had a few hours out of his entire day to relax in someway to keep a level head, before sleeping for two hours. Only to repeat the same thing over again. He took time out of his busy day to go to these meetings Kamijo had before returning to the hospital.

Now with the way things were, he gave up his house, he didn't sell it, just gave it up to be lived in by others. He took what was his personal belongings and started living at the hospital. When Saga found out about it, he insisted Daisuke move in with him. He needed a space away from the hospital, is what Saga told him and he couldn't deny that Saga was right. Him moving in might have helped Saga too in someway. It was only him and Ami who lived in this mansion and when the lockdowns started, Saga was alone in this mansion. Daisuke being around didn't make it so lonely.

Then, Tora walked into the sitting room and Saga perked up. Daisuke wondered why, but he couldn't question it when Tora was right there.

“See you made it.” Daisuke said, leaning back on the sofa him and Saga sat on. “Thought I was going to have to send a search and rescue team soon.”

“Very funny, Sir Daisuke.” Tora didn't find it funny at all as he took a chair near the sofa the two sat on, but closer to Daisuke. “Sorry to have you both wait for me.”

“Let's drop the titles. Lord Kamijo isn't around. We usually do it in the throne room after he leaves, so why not?” Daisuke looked between Saga and Tora, who both nodded their heads. They only carried the titles because they were Blood Ties, and using titles was a big deal for Kamijo.

“I can agree to that.” Tora closed his eyes for a second, before opening them again in Saga's direction. “We need to have this talk.”

“I know we do.” Saga looked back at Tora.

“And you are both going to talk this time.” Daisuke firmly spoke. “This time I am not going to give you the privacy you may want. I'm going to sit right here and you two are going to talk it out. So don't mind me.”

Tora couldn't deny that it was a good thing that Daisuke decided to stay. He was already feeling the itch to grab Saga. Why was he acting like a horny teenage boy? The answer wouldn't come to him, but he felt like comparing himself to Kenji and Ryoji. “I'll agree to it, as long as there is no comments coming from the peanut gallery.”

“Screw you, man.” Daisuke flipped Tora off, before he looked at Saga. “Are you okay with that?”

“Yes, I feel we do need a barrier between us if we want to talk about this.” Saga agreed to it as well, but his eyes narrowed at Tora. Something was questioning in his eyes, and neither Tora or Daisuke knew what it was about.

“Then I shall start our discussion.” Tora said, before he was about to open his mouth again, but Ami had walked into the room.

“Oh, is this a bad time, Mama?” Ami's soft blue eyes looked at the three in the sitting room. She had with her a tray and on that tray was a pitcher of lemonade and four glasses.

“Yes, I'm sorry, dear.” Saga turned around to face Ami. “Oh, and you brought out refreshments.” There was a hint of sadness in his voice. The Omega in him was emotional, and he was getting upset because he had to tell his daughter to walk away. Usually, Saga kept himself in check and didn't let his Omega genes control how he felt about every situation, but when it came to Ami, he was motherly.

“It's okay, Mama.” Ami brought the tray to the coffee table in front of the sofa. “I don't know about you guys, but when I feel like I have a lot to say and talk too much, a nice cold glass of lemonade helps me continue my rambles.” She giggled softly. “Please, enjoy.” She took one of the glasses away and started leaving the room.

“Ami, wait a second.” Tora called out to the young girl. “I never did apologize for what happened that night at the table when Lord Kamijo asked if anyone would take you. I don't want you to get the wrong idea, my intentions were not poor ones. I only wanted to save you and hopefully, in time, you'd find someone you love.”

“Oh, thank you, Sir Tora.” Ami bowed slightly. “I appreciate you trying to look out for me, just like you have always done. I wouldn't dare think ill of you. Though, at least I know my purity will remain untouched since it is Master Ryoji after all. There is always a bright side to a gloomy one, Sir Tora.”

“Please, Ami. You don't need to call me by my title.” Tora felt hurt that she still did. As a child, she never did, but as she got older and learned everyone had a title, she started using them.

“I'm only showing you respect, but I have always had respect for you. You helped Mama homeschool me.” Ami smiled sweetly. “Your like an uncle to me, so I'll call you Uncle Tora instead.”

Tora gave a small smile. “I'd like that, thank you, Ami.” He let her leave as he turned to face Daisuke and Saga. Once Ami left, the small smile on his face disappeared into a straight line.

“You are good, Tora.” Daisuke shook his head with a small chuckle. “I didn't like the way Lord Kamijo said I had an unhealthy attraction to Ami. That's not true at all, but I couldn't let everyone think like that about me. If only Master Ryoji had kept his mouth shut, than we all would know Ami would be in good hands. You have always looked out for her, strangely enough.”

“Yes, well, I was there when Toshiya was sentenced and I knew Saga would need a hand in raising his daughter. We both did and you even took time off from the hospital to make sure Ami was looked after.” Tora nodded his head to Daisuke.

“But the two of you have this hidden grudge against each other.” Saga snorted. “You can compliment each other on how you helped raised Ami, but take her out of the picture and you both are disgusted with each other.”

“We have one common ground and that's all we are going to have.” Daisuke said, crossing his arms over his muscular chest. “He knows what he did, and I can't blame him for following orders, but I won't trust him that he won't be ordered to finish the job.”

“What job are you talking about?” Saga questioned, realizing there was more to this than what he knew.

“We are getting off-topic here, Saga. We need to talk about us.” Tora shook his head. No one knew Tora’s orders then, but Daisuke had figured it out and held Tora accountable.

“Yes, this topic.” Saga sighed, picking up the pitcher of lemonade and pouring himself a glass. “We do need to discuss this, but I have a question I want answered right now.” He looked at his hand, the hand he wore the ring Toshiya had married him with. “You say I'm a married man, and I believed I was a widower until you kept repeating it in your head.” His chestnut-coloured eyes narrowed at Tora. “What do you know about Toshiya?”

Tora kept his surprise hidden. How did Saga know he was repeating it in his head? Then he remembered, this mating bond between them; it was like they could read each other’s thoughts, but it was only randomly. Could it be controlled? Tora hoped it could be.

A clash of glass hit the floor after Saga asked his question and Tora was trying to keep his thoughts from running wild. Saga sighed. “Ami, you know it's not good to eavesdrop on our conversation.”

“I'm sorry, Mama.” Ami appeared from another doorway into the sitting room. “I just, It's hard for me to believe you and Uncle Tora are soulmates.”

“Soulmates? Where would you get an idea like that?” Daisuke jumped to question Ami.

“Well, I overheard Mama and you talking last night. Again, I'm sorry, Mama for listening.” Ami dropped her head down. “But you said you couldn't believe you had a true mate, so I thought you meant soulmate.”

“Well, she isn't exactly wrong.” Tora sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. “What is normal is marking someone whether you love them or not. Some even mark others to show ownership. What happened to us only happens to those who are meant to be together, whether they love each other or not, essentially like soulmates. It wasn't in our control, our bodies reacted the way they did for the purpose of completing our souls. I've marked many in my life time, but it was never like that.”

“Ami, may you please go to your room for tonight? I know you wish to hear what we are going to say to each other, but I rather you not hear.” Saga looked over at Ami. “I'll tell you everything in the morning that's important for you to know, okay?”

“Yes, Mama.” Ami understood somethings weren't for her ears and after what she had to be apart of last night, she would give them privacy from her, at least. “Good night, Daisuke.” She came behind him and leaned over the sofa to hug him.

“Good night, Ami.” Daisuke hugged her back.

“Good night, Uncle Tora.” Ami waved at him instead.

“Good night, Ami.” Tora said softly, not minding that she didn't hug him.

The three remained quiet for a moment until the door from up the stairs clicked shut. It was Daisuke who jumped in on Tora first. “How many people have you marked?”

“Too many.” Tora started to slouch back in the chair he sat in. This was going to be a long night for him. “Lord Kamijo sent me out on too many missions where I got close to the enemy, sometimes they involved me getting in so close that we would mark each other.”

“Mark each other?” Daisuke raised a brow. “But you had no other markings on your body prior to Saga's. We all would have sensed it and Saga wouldn't have been able to mark you.”

“This is part of the reason I came here tonight.” Tora didn't even bother looking at either of them, he stared off in the corner of the room. “Lord Kamijo taught me something from his time that actually removes the marks. I'd remove the mark from my body after I killed them, because doing it while they were alive, they would have known something was up. Only one person that I marked and had kept alive, would have felt the terrible pain I felt when removing it, if I didn't knocked him out each time he marked me. It got so bad, I had to drug him or use tranquilizers on him. He never questioned where his mark went, because I told him they fade over time. My mark on him always remained, because I couldn't dare put him and myself through that pain twice in one night, because he loved it when I would mark him again.”

Saga reached up and touched his mark, in the moment he felt a sense of dread coming from Tora. He quickly removed his hand and looked at Tora. “Do you think you can remove ours? Is that why you came here tonight?”

“Yes, I figured there is no love between us, and we did it on instinct. I thought you would rather not be marked by me because you are married.” Tora finally said it out loud and looked at Saga. “I would fully understand if you didn't want this.”

“I don't even know what I want.” Saga admitted to Tora, before looking at the ring on his hand. He removed the ring and held it up in front of his face. “I want to know what you know about Toshiya that we don't know. Answer me that!”

Tora nodded his head. There wasn't a way out of this if Saga heard his thoughts before. There was no lie he could think of at this time. “This stays between the three of us.” He looked to the entrance Ami took to go up the stairs. “Ami can't even know and definitely not Lord Kamijo.”

“Shit, you didn't.” Daisuke had a slight grin appear on his face. “You didn't follow orders, did you?”

Tora nodded. “After Toshiya was sent to the dungeon, what happened only a few days after?”

The two thought about Tora's question till Saga said it. “Sir Frances being expelled from the island.”

“Exactly, and what you both learned was he was expelled but not killed, because he had a purpose to Lord Kamijo,” Tora told them what they recently found out. “He was tasked with building an army for Lord Kamijo. Being n Omega, he needed a bodyguard and someone who could find the strongest warriors.”

Saga's eyes widened, and Daisuke's grin grew wider. “Y-you mean he is alive?” Saga had tears starting to form in his eyes.

Tora shook his head. “Toshiya tried to return to the island after he found out Sir Frances wouldn’t do precisely what Lord Kamijo wanted him to do. I was tasked with eliminating him.” Saga gasped, and Daisuke's grin changed into a frown. So Tora continued. “We were evenly matched. It would have been a fight to the bitter end, with both of us dying. I gave him a choice, and he only chose to walk away if I made him a promise.”

“So, you left him alive and lied to Lord Kamijo?” Saga was hanging on the edge of his seat, holding the ring tightly in his hand.

“Basically.” Tora pinched the bridge of his nose. “That was over 13 years ago, mind you. In my eyes, and being the last to see him, he is still alive, and you are still married to him, Saga.”

“That's 13 years, 13 years he never tried to reach out to Saga or Ami.” Daisuke shook his head.

“He couldn’t. Not because my ass was on the line for lying, but he knew his condition. He was already thought to be dead.” Tora told Daisuke. Toshiya also knew Saga was Lord Kamijo's advisor, and if Saga let it slip, there was another life on the line, Ami.

Saga sat there looking at the ring in his hand. He had a thought come to his head. “If Toshiya knew I thought he was dead, he might have moved on with his life, wherever that may be. He also knew my line of work before he knocked me up, so who's to say I didn't go back to work?”

Daisuke shook his head. “No, he knows you love him. You told him you'd find someone else to work in your place.”

“That was then, this is now.” Saga shook his head before hanging his head down and holding his head in his hands. “He wasn’t like you, Daisuke! He had found his outlet in sex, like the rest. Now, whether he stood by those vows we made to each other, there is still the idea of losing himself to Alpha's aggression if he was under the stress of surviving on his own.”

“I get what you both are saying.” Tora looked between them. “There is no way to know. Daisuke believes Toshiya would have survived all this time on his own because he was one of our Top Warriors. However, surviving alone away from civilization, Saga isn't wrong either. Toshiya might have starved himself, fallen into Alpha's aggression, or someone might have caught him off guard and killed him.” He could see the two starting to open their mouths to argue. “I was the last one to see him alive. Wounded, but alive. So Saga put that ring back on your finger. You are still married, not a widower, but if you remove that ring again, it means you are ready to move on.” He had to be the voice of reason, it might work against him, but he also wanted it to be a reason to remove this mating bond between him and Saga.

Saga put the ring back on his finger and looked at Tora. “If you know how to remove these marks, no matter what pain it brings us, we should do it. You are right, there isn't any love between us and even if our subconscious knows we are meant to be, I'd rather do it on our own terms and not on Lord Kamijo's.”

“That's the smartest thing I have heard from you tonight.” Daisuke piped up. “You questioned everything since last night and now you have finally made a decision.”

Tora sighed. Saga wasn't the only one questioning himself last night. “Alright, now we need to get our hands on cloves of garlic and wolfsbane.”

“Are you serious?” Daisuke looked at Tora with wide eyes. “That sounds like some kind of fantasy bullshit, using those two things.” Tora raised a brow.

Saga chuckled. “Vampire stories that humans made up, had used garlic as away to keep Vampires at bay. And wolfsbane was meant to hurt Werewolves.”

“I know.” Tora knew exactly what it sounded like, because he was around during those times the stories were made up. Garlic just really smelled horrid, just like onions. It would keep anyone away. Wolfsbane had many names and properties but it was used as a poison mostly. The plant itself would keep creatures away because of it's poison effect it had. Animals just had the instinct to keep away from the plant.

“Well, that ain't hard to find around here, right Saga?” Daisuke looked at the dark brown hair man.

“There's a batch in my garden, but I don't carry any garlic.” Saga looked at Tora. “Garlic is a cooking ingredient and the only place stocked with any cooking spices now is the castle.”

“That might be difficult.” Tora realized the issue. “It has to be fresh garlic cloves and fresh wolfsbane. Unless we can find a garden around here with a garlic plant, getting fresh garlic cloves is going to be a problem. It's always been a problem tracking down wolfsbane for me.” Tora chuckled dryly.

Saga thought about it. “There are a few gardens around here. They might have garlic, but who's going to jump fences and trespass just for garlic.”

“There are a few gardens created by residents that are living on the streets. That would be the easiest route to getting garlic, but they might want a pretty penny for it.” Daisuke told them, knowing more about what was happening on the streets as he walked them to get to the hospital.

“I don't think they would want money. They'd probably want something that would benefit them.” Tora sighed knowing there wasn't anything he could give them, other than money.

“Maybe buying their house from the bank, so they had a roof over their head.” Saga suggested. “There are families with young kids and babies out there that could benefit from having a space to keep their young ones warm.”

“Buying a house for just a clove of garlic seems a bit unusual.” Daisuke laughed. “How about I go tomorrow, see what they want for just a clove of garlic and we can go from there.”

Tora shook his head. “I don't have time to be bargaining.” He started to get up. “I need to head back to the castle. The sun is going to be up soon.”

“What's that supposed to mean?” Daisuke said as him and Saga both stood up as well.

“It means I'm going to burn if I get caught in it.” Tora rolled his eyes as if it was common knowledge.

“Oh, right. I keep forgetting you are a turned Vampire” Saga nervously chuckle.

“I know, right? He walks around like he's the big man on campus, but he has too many weaknesses.” Daisuke poked fun of Tora. “Maybe, if you let me. I can fuse your DNA with Alpha genes and you wouldn't have that problem anymore.”

“Sorry, but I don't wish to be one of your test subjects.” Tora shook his head.

“You wouldn't be a test subject.” Daisuke pointed out. “I've done the experiment so many times, the results were the same. Turned Vampires would gain the same properties that an Alpha has, just not the strength or muscle. One of them being able to walk in the sunlight. Now, if I were to do it with Omega genes, then that would be a whole new experiment for me.”

Tora still shook his head. “I won't do it still. It was something Lord Kamijo suggested I do, but I declined. I have learned to live this way basically my whole life. I have adapted to it and sometimes use it to my advantage.”

“To your advantage?” Saga and Daisuke both said at the same time, not believing Tora.

“Yeah, one of them is faking my death. The Alpha genes would restart my heart to beat at a slow pace. Staying the way I am, I can appear dead to my enemies to surprise attack. Vampires back than to what they are now, have gotten smarter.” Tora explained.

“Sounds like you know what your doing.” Saga nodded his head. “Well, Daisuke will help you gather your belongings. I would but I think we need to continue to stay away from each other for now.”

Daisuke rolled his eyes, he didn't want to help Tora, but Saga did make a good point. They might end up going for another round in the sheets. So with Saga saying his good night to Tora, him and Tora went to get his suit and he walked Tora out to the car.

As Tora got into the car, and reached to close the door, Daisuke stopped him and bent down close to Tora. “This might get me in a lot of trouble, but how loyal are you to Lord Kamijo?”

“You know I'm loyal to him. I have lived longer than anyone else on this island with Lord Kamijo.” Tora eyed Daisuke. “You shouldn’t be questioning my loyalty, you should be questioning your own.”

“I'm thinking you are losing your loyalty for Lord Kamijo. You know my bloodline. We find it hard to be loyal to a tyrant.” Daisuke narrowed his eyes.

“I know. Which is why I killed off your bloodline for Lord Kamijo. You are the last to be alive, because you have fooled Lord Kamijo with your loyalty. You decided a long time ago to not continue your bloodline and than your siblings were killed off one by one as they started following Sir Frances's ideology. Your parents were the last to die by my hands. I gave them the choice on how they wished to go. They chose to pass in their sleep to make it seem like natural causes took them at the same time.” Tora looked Daisuke in the eye, he wasn't sorry he did it. He was just following orders. “Now why question my loyalty when your loyalty has been an act all this time?”

“Because there are others in my bloodline you haven't killed and you let one walk away with his life.” Daisuke stood up and slammed the car door in Tora's face as he headed back to the mansion, leaving Tora stunned.
