Summary:

Follow as izuku faces the challenge of life after a horrible incident

Chapter 1: Summery and and the beginning of the story

Izuku got his quirk at the age of 10 it was fire breathing like his father,

His mother/inko was not happy because it reminded her of his father who left to make a new life in America,

He went his whole life with people bullying him and suicide baiting him for being "quirkless",

The government wanted to test how a human would do if turned into a hybrid, they went to aldera middle school to find some test subjects they only saw one person who standed out to them, that was izuku, they followed him home when he left school

(3rd persons POV)

Izuku had just walked through the door when he noticed his mother, inko midoryia was passed out drunk on the couch,

izuku knew what would happen if he woke his mother up,

he shiverd at the thought of it,

so instead he covered her with a blanket and started to as quietly as he could clean up the alcohol bottles off the floor,

he walked to his room, his room was a simple room,

his walls were a baby blue, his desk has a few papers and books on it, his bed had some black bedsheets,

he was just getting changed when he heard the front door break open along with his mothers screaming followed by gun shots,

he ran out to see a horrible scene, his mother laying on the couch with multiple gun shot wounds in her,

she is surrounded by blood, before he can call out for help he is knocked out, but before he passed out he smelled something sweet,

...........like perfume.

When izuku woke up again he was chained down to a metal bed and it was dark,

the only light is the lamp shining down in his face he looks around and notices a man with a lab coat on, a pair of gloves, and a mask

(Izukus POV)

"Ah, your awake I see~" the mystery man said,

I was so confused, who was this man and what does he want from me, he walked towards me and pulls out a sharpie and starts drawing lines on my throat,

i was so confused and scared, he then pulls out a syringe and injected me with it and everything went black

When I woke up I was still on the operating table but now my spine is killing me and so is my head, I tried to speak but all that came out is a weak bark and a wheeze,

'what the heck what did they do to my throat' I thought just then the strang man came back with a creepy smile on his face

"congratulations the operation was a success~" he said

'operation? What operation' I think I look around and my eyes land on a fluffy white tail next to my hand I look at it,

it's almost like..... It's attached to me, in that moment it moved,

I jump and the strang man says "calm down you'll get used to it, it's apart of you now, there is not going back "

I was even more confused 'apart of me? What does me mean'

I think he then escorts me to a white room, no bed, no desk, no color, just white, and a little mirror, i cant walk so i crawl towards it and look at me reflection,

i start crying because not only now do i see white ears and a tail attached to me but I had a scar and stitches on my throat

I have grown used to the torcher,

The first year here I was always barking and crying,

As I had learned to find out they replaced my voice box to one of a dogs,

They put a muzzle and shock collar on me after the second year,

Eri got thrown in my cell a year ago because overhaul was done using her,

Me and eri have become friends and even siblings as time went on,

We were playing when we heard a loud bang,

I hid eri behind my back to protect her,

That's when aizawa and back ran in after busting the door down,

My eyes wide and I sign :kacchan?:,

He didn't recognize me at first but then,

"Deku? Is that really you?!" He runs over and hugs me I'm confused because he had never done that before,

That was when aizawa said,

"Heh, sorta, we used to be childhood best friends before he went missing 4 months before middle school ended" bakugou said

/i don't know how long they were in middle school for after the sludge incident so dont come at me if this is not correct im just gonna say it was 4 months/

[Izu-nii...... Whats happening.....] Eri asked me

(Bakugou's POV)

'what the hell' I think because what the hell izuku has been missing for 3 years and we go on a rescue mission for a little girl that miro saw in an alleyway a year ago and we finally found him,

Izuku, my izuku, my brother, my best friend was here the whole time, but it can't be, my izuku didn't have wolf ears or a tail,

"What happened to you izu?" I ask, I think I surprised him because before I knew it he was staring at me with wide eyes,

I watched him sign but I don't understand what he is saying as I don't know sign language but I think the old man did because a made a sound of disgust,

I decided to take off his muzzle thinking I would hear his voice again but once he opened him mouth all that came out was a weak, strained bark,

I finally noticed the little girl behind his back,

"L-leave i-izu-neii a-alone!" The little girl shakily said with a slightly higher voice than a whispers but still way to quiet,

I put the muzzle back on izuku and turn to aizawa,

"Let's get them along with anybody else out of here" I announce to aizawa,

I watched as the old man's eyes widen as well probably because I'm not yelling or cursing

I nod knowing that problem child is serious,

So we start helping the greeneat and the little girl out of the laboratory,

Well actually we helped the little girl out the greeneat crawls behind us,

I'm not actually sure why he is crawling inside of walking but I don't question it I just left it happen,

We make it outside which is very hot,

To be fair it is summer so it's understandable,

The girl looks terrified as she is not being held by the greeneat but by me and I don't think she trusts me yet,

But that's understandable we said just meet,

But that's understandable we said just meet,

So we walk out of the laboratory and my and probalm child take them to the hospital,

+After they made it to the hospital and got izuku and eri checked out+

So the doctor told us that the little girl that we have found out through extensive searching is named eri {unknown last name} currently is 9 years old,

She is ok minus some scratches and the healed cuts on her arms and legs,

The greeneat, as I learned from the problem child is named izuku midoryia who is currently 17 years old and went missing when he was 14,

He is the big problem at the moment they found out that izuku has a quirk so that means the ears and the tail were not his quirk and he did not have them growing up so that means they were surgical added to him when he was 14 and they found he has a few broken bones and the fact his tail has made it physically impossible for him to stand up without physical therapy and he can't speak he can only bark so that means he is technically mute,

/I really didn't know how to write that part and not make it sound kinda rude but just note I am not trying to be rude/

I decided to speak to eri,

"Hi little one..... What happened to you?"I asked,

[L-leave m-me a-alone!! B-bubba s-said n-not t-to t-talk t-to s-strangers!!] Eri whisper yelled to me,

/I made eri call izuku, bubba instead of izu-nii like I originally did because I don't feel like typing that out and my phone won't try auto correcting bubba like it does if I typed izu-nii/

"Well how about we visit bubba huh? See if he will let you talk to me, huh?" I said,

[..... Ok.... But..... Don't be rude to bubba.......] Eri said,

I smile and hold my hand out to her and we walk to izukus hospital room,

I watch as eri runs over to izuku and climbs onto his bed,

Aizawa walks over and says "is it ok if I ask you two questions?",

I Am a little hesitant after all of the adults in my life have hurt me but I nod,

The man me and eri have found out to be aizawa a pro hero,

He walks out of the room leaving me and eri alone,

I blow out some fire and make it into a tiny wolf made out of fire and then I grab the glass of water from my bedside table,

I cool the wolf down to make a toy,

I hand it to eri,

[Bubba... I love it thank you... Are you sure I can have it?] She asked,

I nod and smile,

Then there was a knock on the door,

We look at the door as it opens to reveal bakugou,

I watch as he looks at the ground,

"Look de-izuku, I'm really sorry about what I did to you when we were younger..... I was heartbroken when the old hag showed up at your apartment to find auntie dead and you gone..... We thought we lost you forever..... And I hope you can except my apology....." He said,

My eyes widen bakugou..... Sorry? This has to be a dream,

I think for a minute and then nod,

I look at eri,

: that is my childhood friend.... Don't worry he won't hurt you: I sign,

Eri nods and hugs me,

+After a few months+

Me and eri have been living with the aizawa household,

Two months after we started living with them we got adopted by aizawa and his husband hizashi,

Right now I'm in my room while eri is downstairs with our adopted brother shinsou,

I start school tomorrow and I'm trying to stand,

I have been doing a lot of physical therapy but it hasn't been working,

'I haven't been able to walk since........' I shake my head 'no don't remember that....'

There is a knock on my door and aizawa walks in*

"Hey izu.... Whatcha doing?...." He asked,

: physical therapy..... Again.....:,

"ok, well shin wants to hang out with you, will you be joining?" He asked,

I shake my head,

Aizawa nods and leaves,

I Force myself to stand against my stand up bar,

my legs shake but I can't stay standing,

'aw man it's been months and I still can't even stand for even a second',

I silently sigh and scratch around my muzzle,

I have gotten used to my muzzle and don't really like it being taken off,

The only time my muzzle is taken off is if I'm about to eat,

I take a sip of my coffee out of a straw since I can drink through my muzzle through the little holes made for me to be able to breathe,

I am crawling on the floor on my way to class 1A,

As I pass by people in the hallway I'm getting looks like I'm crazy,

I haven't been able to think of aizawa as a dad yet but I think I'm getting close,

I'm following aizawa to class,

When we get to class they all look at aizawa not yet noticing me,

I crawl to the podium,

This blue haired boy with engines on his legs notices me,

"A young hero should not be crawling like a baby!! You are being unhero like!! Stand up and act like a teenager!! Also why are you not wearing the school uniform!! That is against the schools dress code!!" The blue haired boy said with choppy hands,

"Tenya! Leave him alone, it's ok" aizawa said,

"But-" the boy named iisa started,

"No buts" aizawa said at he walks to the podium

I look around and see a bunch of people but this yellow haired boy with a black lightning bolt in his hair,

I blush lightly looking at him but quickly shakes my head,

"This is izuku, and he will be joining us from now on" aizawa said,

Everybody said hi and I just nod,

Someone ask me a question,

It was a girl with pink skin and hair with yellow horns,

"Hi my name is mina, why are you crawling on the floor" the girl evidently named mina asked,

I say silent because again I cannot speak,

"It is incredibly rude to ignore a fellow classmate you stupid wolf boy" iida said with choppy hands,

/I have decided to make iida rude, I will add that tag sometime, I'm not sure when but I will/

"Tenya! Izuku cannot speak so shush, izuku is mute" aizawa said,

That's when the yellow haired boy with the black lightning bolt said...

I see kacchan and crawl over to him,

"Hey izu, how have you been, haven't seen you since you're first physical therapy session" kacchan said,

I nod and force myself to stand against his desk before promptly falling into his arms,

"Woah izu, I've got you" kacchan said,

I sit in his lap and look at the class,

Everyone is starting at us confused,

Aizawa coughs"... They must... They must um be confused because of the way bakugou is acting" he said,

I nod,

"Get off young bakugou's lap you mutt!!!" The boy, iida, yelled at me,

"Iida!! Shut the hell up before your expelled!!" Aizawa said,

I giggle quietly as iida gets shouted out,

/I HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE DENKI SECRETLY SMART!!! 😆 Mosley because I can and I kinda like smart denki, I also don't want him being dumb and oblivious in this story/

I look at the boy, aizawa has been calling izuku,

He looks so cute,

But I bet he isn't gay....,

His pretty freckled cheeks and his cute ears and tail

I sigh quietly observing izuku,

'If he wasn't straight.... I would date him' I thought,

His beautiful plump pink lips,

Just waiting to be kissed,

I smile,

His skin looks so soft,

I shake out of my thoughts,

I wonder what papa will think...,

Well papa will probably know I have a crush when I go into his office later this afternoon,

"Hi!!, my name is Jasper!" I said while my tail wags really fast in happiness,

I watch as izuku nods,

"Wanna be friends!!!" I said,

I see he seems hesitant,

"It's okay if you don't want to but I wont leave you alone, not in like a mean way but I mean like I will be here when you do want to be friends" I said still smiling,

I smile when he nods,

I walk away and come back with a little stuffed animal,

I hand the stuffed animal to izuku "I found this at a store one day and decided to keep it for when I have a friend like me" I said excitedly,

I watch as he takes it with a smile,

I nod in a way to say thank you,

Then the boy with yellow hair and the black lightning bolt walked over to me,

I blush, 'good thing the muzzle hides my blush' I think,

"Hi my name is denki kaminari but most people just call me denki or kami you can call me whatever you want" the boy... Denki said,

I smile underneath my muzzle,

Denki looks really handsome,

The bell for lunch goes off and I jumped in surprise and fear,

I nod and crawl over to aizawa,

Aizawa looks down at me and smiles,

"Hi izuku are you ready for lunch?" Aizawa said,

I nod,

Aizawa puts a bento in front of me on the floor,

'i haven't had a bento...... Since before I got my quirk.... ',

I shake out of my thoughts and looks at aizawa to take the muzzle off since I can't do it myself,

start eating on the floor,

I like living with aizawa but I'm still a little hesitant with hitoshi and hazashi,

I finish my food quickly and sits there looking up at aizawa,

Ever since aizawa adopted me he has been slowly feeding me more since before he adopted me I had only been give old scraps from the scientist that they didn't want to eat because it was nasty,

Aizawa looks down at me "still hungry?" Aizawa asked,

I nod,

Aizawa crouches down and puts some more rice in my bento box,

I smile and eats it and hands him the empty bento box,

Aizawa takes it and puts my muzzle back on,

I'm playing with one of the stuffed animals out of 10 stuffed animals I have gotten since being saved,

I stop playing and looks at the wolf plushie in my hands,

'i wonder if I'll ever be able to talk again' I shake my head and look at denki,

*it is currently 1:00 in the morning*

i have been spending an hour or two each night teaching myself to walk I have been able to walk about 10 feet compared to the 3 feet I could do not even 9 days ago,

I yawn which is a quiet puff of air and wheeze,

I get on my hands and knees,

my legs already tired from the last hour or two of physical therapy,

I close my eyes and drift off to sleep,

I wake up and get ready for the day,

I finish getting dressed and then I first go to wake up shinsou's room to wake him up

"hito!! get up its time to get ready for school!!"I yell and in return I hear a small groan through the door,

I then go to izuku's room and knocks on the door "izu! time to get up!" I yell then I hear some shuffling and then the door opens to reveal izuku leaning heavily on the door frame,

I can now walk normally with a little trouble,

I've been teaching myself to talk secretly,

I can now say a few words but it's not a lot,

Talking hurts but I taught myself to say love, dad, brother, friend,

I haven't told my family, or friends, or even denki,

But I will soon,

I whimper it hurts but I got to keep trying.....,

Everyone looks at me and I become a little nervous but I take a shaky deep breath and,

Everyone is staring at izuku like he had 2 heads,

Then suddenly everyone busted into happiness,

All the all nighters finally caught up to izuku,

Right now izuku is laying in bed coughing his pour lungs out,

He came down with the flu about 4 days ago,

His chest hurts from coughing so much and his stomach is rebelling everything he eats,

Pour thing can't even drink water from how bad his chest hurts /Totally not me basing this off of myself getting sick a few days ago/,

He had ice cream but that only stayed down until 1 in the morning,

He can't breathe out of his nose from how stuffy it is,

It hurts to breathe,

It hurts to swallow,

My head is killing me,

I need to throw up,

I just want to sleep,

That's all I've been thinking the last few days,

Dad and papa keep trying to get me to eat but I'm not hungry,

Shin-shin has been helping me when dad and papa can't,

I curl up on my side and groan quickly regretting it when it burns then I start coughing so hard I feel I might cough up a lung,
