"Killua! Come on!" Gon yelled calling his friend over. "What, Gon?" Killua said, standing next to him his hands in his pockets. Gon pointed at the T.V. excitedly, Killua looked at the T.V. "Leorio? What's he doing up there?" He asked. "I don't know! But he's on the 150th floor! I'm so happy for him!" Gon said. Killua smiled lightly then chuckled, "Who knows maybe he bribed his way up there. Come on, let's go get something to eat." Killua gestured for Gon to follow him. Gon ran catching up to him, "What did you have in mind?" He asked. Killua shrugged, "I just want to get out of that arena once in a while." He said. They made it to a restaurant and both ordered burgers. Come on, lets go get something to eat." Killua set down his burger and took a sip of his soda, Gon reached over taking a fry from his plate eating it starting to laugh. "Hey!" Killua flicked Gon's forehead. "Ow! Why did you do that?!" Gon said. Killua laughed, "You took some of my french fries this is punishment, you could've asked, plus you weren't very sneaky about it." Gon rubbed his forehead and threw a handful of french fries at Killua. They started laughing tossing food back and forth. Gon picked up his soda and splashed it in Killua's face, laughing, Killua splashed his soda back. They couldn't stop laughing until the moment was ruined when the waitress came by, "Excuse me, boys. This is unacceptable, you two made a very big mess where are your parents?" She said, crossing her arms. Killua rolled his eyes and looked away, Gon sat there, his smile fading. "We're sorry, ma'am me and Killua will clean it up!" He said. "Eh..? Gon, I'm not going to-" Gon looked at him and furrowed his eyebrows gesturing him to help. Killua sighed exasperated, "Fine." He crouched down on the floor helping Gon pick up the food. The waitress gave them a smile of relief soon walking away. Killua stood up wiping his hands together, "I think that does it." Gon stood up, "Well there goes dinner." He said. Killua put an elbow on Gon's shoulder walking with him back to the arena, "Well you ate some of it didn't you?" Killua asked. Gon nodded. "But the burger was so good." He said. The city was lit up with multi colored lights and music played loudly, "We should have a sleepover!" Gon said. Killua looked at him, "Sure."
They made it back to the 251 story building also known as Heavens Arena seeing their two friends chatting in a corner. "Kurapika! Leorio!" Gon yelled, jogging towards them waving. "Gon! Killua!" Kurapika said. "Where were you two?" Kurapika asked. "We went to get dinner, did Leorio win?" Killua said. Leorio's face turned red in embarrassment. Killua chuckled, "Guessing how red your face is, you lost didn't you?" "H-Hey! Be quiet!" Leorio said. Gon and Kurapika laughed. "It's still early. We should explore the city." Gon said. Everyone nodded and started following him. "Then we can have an amazing sleepover!" Gon said excitedly. They made it to the center of the city where there was an endless row of stores. Killua chuckled, "Shopping spree anyone?" He asked. "Last one into the first store they see has to pay for everything!" Killua said, he grabbed on to Gon's hand bringing him into a store. Kurapika and Leorio we're struggling to get into a store shoving and pushing each other. "I'm not letting- you kids, make me go bankrupt!" Leorio said. "Is that so, Leorio?" Kurapika said tripping him then running into the store. "That's not fair!" Leorio yelled, then cursing under his breath. Around thirty minutes later Gon and Killua came out with fifteen bags, Kurapika two, Leorio six. "I swear this is why I'm always broke," Leorio said breathing heavily. "Are all of those your bags?" Kurapika asked. "No! Five out of the six bags here are theirs they got things worth of twenty bags, I almost couldn't pay the fee!" Leorio complained. Gon got off of Killua's back. "I'm sorry Leorio, we won't do that again." Gon said. "Fine, I forgive you. Let's just get back." Leorio said. Gon smiled. "Want another piggyback ride, Gon?" Killua asked. Gon smiled and nodded.
Gon got back on to Killua's back putting his arms around him. They started walking back. "See we can take our sweet time and enjoy the scenery all four of us right, Gon?" Killua said. "Gon?" He asked. He turned his head and saw Gon sleeping on his back he gave a light smile and turned his head back. "He must've been super tired." Leorio said. "I don't think we should wake him for the sleepover. We'll just sleepover no need for games and things." Kurapika said. Killua smiled adjusting Gon on his back. "I just didn't expect him to fall asleep this quick." Leorio said. "Yeah. I mean, he did have a long day today, so I can't blame him." Killua said. "Oh look at that we're here." Kurapika said.
They walked inside and went into the elevator, Gon was still sleeping on Killua's back. "I already have my stuff in Gon's room, just get your stuff and go to the 200th floor you guys know his room number. Kurapika and Leorio walked out of the elevator and it continued to go to the 200th floor. Soon Killua got out still carrying Gon and the fifteen bags. Soon he went into Gon's room setting him down on the bed and putting a blanket over him. He looked out the window the different colored spotlights shining. He changed his clothes and sighed sitting on the floor waiting for Kurapika and Leorio to arrive. They arrived opening the door, Leorio forgot Gon was sleeping shouting at the top of his lungs, "ARE YOU GUYS READY TO-" Kurapika covered his mouth and pointed to Gon sleeping on the bed. "Oh my bad..." Leorio said. Leorio set down Killua's and Gon's other bags and Kurapika set out their sleeping mat. It was one big one because they didn't have any sold separately. "Well, goodnight, everyone." Kurapika said. Leorio shut off the light and laid on his side of the mat yawning. Killua got up and slowly crawled into Gon's bed covering himself. He didn't want to get to comfortable so he fell asleep on the edge of the bed. A few hours later, it was still dark, Killua woke up feeling warm, he looked down seeing Gon's arm wrapped around him, he smiled leaving his hand there. He yawned again falling asleep. It was finally morning Kurapika had already woken up Leorio, Gon, and Killua were still sleeping. Morning turned into afternoon when Gon and Killua both woke up. Leorio was teasing Kurapika. "Good morning guys!" Said Gon. "Good morning." Said Killua. Kurapika waved them good morning pushing Leorio off of him. "Finally, you guys are awake." Leorio said. "Hisoka, he dropped by while you two were still sleeping, I don't trust him but he wanted to give you this, Gon." Kurapika said tossing Gon a card. "A card?" Gon asked. Killua leaned over his shoulder. "A tarot card, these predict your fate in hints and stuff, we should bring it to a fortune teller today." Killua said. "Sounds fun!" Gon said.
Kurapika held on to the door handle with Leorio behind, "We'll catch you guys later." He said opening the door and leaving. "Sorry I fell asleep on you, Killua." Gon said. "It's okay, you looked comfortable and that made me happy." Killua said. "We should take a bath." Killua said. "Race you!" Gon yelled. They sprinted to the bathroom. "I made it!" Gon said. Killua shrugged, "I let you win." "Uh-huh sure." Gon said. Gon went into the tub and Killua sat on the floor putting soap in his hair. "I'm excited to figure out what my fate is." Gon said putting his hands in Killua's hair scrubbing the soap. "I hope you get something good Gon, although, it could be a set up, we can't trust Hisoka." Killua said. "Even if it is a trick I'm pretty sure Kurapika would've figured that out." Gon said taking his hands out of Killua's hair and rinsing it with water. Killua closes his eyes "Yeah." He said.
They were soon out of the bathroom fully dressed ready to go get Kurapika and Leorio. Gon opened the door and walked out of the room, "Hey, boy..." A man said. Gon looked in the direction. "Who are you?" Gon asked. Killua looked at the man judgementally, putting a hand on Gon's back keeping one behind his head telling Gon not to get distracted. "Boy...?" The man sighed as Killua and Gon got into the elevator. "What was that about?" Gon asked. Killua had both of his hands behind his head as he shrugged, "I don't know, but he has nothing to do with us so don't mind it." Gon looked down at the tarot card. They made it to the first floor, and got off the elevator. Killua set his skateboard down, "Want to ride it?" Killua asked. Gon smiled and nodded. He got on to skateboard driving it slowly as Killua followed.
"Isn't Leorio and Kurapika coming?" Gon asked still skating on the skateboard. Killua shrugged his hands behind his head walking, "Probably, who knows." Gon started skating faster, "G-Gon! Look out!" Killua ran after him. "Gon!" Leorio jumped out of the way as Gon tripped over landing on the floor laughing hard. "Gon! Are you alright?" Asked Killua. Gon nodded smiling. "Sorry, Leorio." He said. Leorio groaned and nodded. Killua saw the man from upstairs in a corner and frowned trying not to pay attention. "Something bothering you, Killua?" Kurapika asked. Killua looked at Kurapika and shook his head, "No, I thought I saw something is all." "Alright." Kurapika said.
"Hey, boy." The man said coming out of the corner and pointing at Gon. Killua and Gon looked at the man. "Can you come over here? Boy.." He said. Killua put his hand on Gon's shoulder shaking his head, "It's not worth it." Gon looked at Killua then shrugged giving him back his skateboard. "We should get going." Said Killua driving the skateboard. Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio followed Killua. They were walking through the city when Killua saw the man in an alleyway, he stopped the skateboard and got off of it. "I'm going to get something do you guys want anything?" Killua asked. Kurapika and Leorio shook their heads. "I'll have a soda!" Gon said. Killua nodded and walked towards the store. They walked away. Killua appeared behind the man kicking him on to his knee taking out a pocket knife. The man gulped, he felt overwhelmed by Killua's presence. "Why are you following us?" Killua asked, hovering the pocket knife over his head. "Nod if someone is making you do this, open your eyes if it's for your own benefits, I'll know if you lie, and if you do your blood will be smeared all over this alleyway." He said. The man nodded, his body shaking. Killua looked at him, not putting the knife away. "Tell me who is making you do this." Killua said. The man swallowed, "I can't!" Killua felt Gon's arms wrap around him when he almost skewered the knife through the mans head. "K-Killua! Calm down!" Gon yelled. Killua felt his knees get weak. The man chuckled, "My nen, makes anyone feel tired and makes them want to die. Too bad your friend made you miss the opportunity on killing me. My nen also explores your deepest, agonizing memories, making you hate everyone and everything so have fun, boy." He walked away. Killua's eyes were wide pushing Gon off of him. "Killua..." Gon tried to grab his hand. Killua's eyes were soulless and empty. Killua snapped at Gon, "Don't touch me! I hate you, Gon! I wish you weren't my friend I wish I was alone!" Gon's eyes watered as he ran back to Kurapika and Leorio bawling his eyes out.
"Gon?!" Kurapika said hugging Gon holding him close. "What happened?!" He asked. Gon kept crying trying to speak, "K-Killua...he said he hated me..!" Kurapika gave Leorio a stern look then looked back at Gon, "What happened? He would never say that. There has to be something wrong." Kurapika said. Gon explained everything finally calming down. Killua walked out of the alleyway, blood on his face and hands his eyes still empty. "K-Killua!" Gon yelled. Killua looked at him and didn't say anything. He walked away ignoring them. Kurapika got up, "Stay here with Gon, Leorio." He walked after Killua grabbing him by the shirt. "Killua..what happened?!" He stayed silent before he did an evil grin. "Murder...I killed him..." His hand twitched. "Killed who?!" Kurapika yelled. "The man who was following us...I didn't mean what I said to Gon. It was part of his nen, can you let go now?" Killua said. Kurapika let go of him and Killua walked over to Gon hugging him. Gon was startled he didn't know Killua was behind him. He looked at Killua his head was in Gon's shoulder sniffling. He was crying. "Killua..." He whispered. "I'm sorry, Gon!" He said crying. Gon hugged him tightly calming him down, "It's okay. It's not your fault." "I know what I said! It is I didn't need to outburst like that!" Killua said choking on his words. Gon smiled lightly, "It's okay I promise, whatever you do or say I'll still be your friend. Best friend." Gon said. Killua sniffled. "Thanks, Gon, I'm glad I met you." He said holding Gon's hand. "I'm glad you guys made up." Kurapika said. Gon looked at Killua's bloodied clothes and took off his jacket putting it on his back smiling. Killua looked at him and smiled, "Thanks.."
"We should get going!" Gon said pulling up Killua. They walked to the fortune teller when they arrived they saw a young lady with pink hair in a ponytail. "Excuse me!" Gon said. "Hm?" The lady look at them she was stitching something. "We have a tarot card we want you to look at." Gon took out the card and gave it to the lady. The lady grabbed the card and analyzed it and did a light chuckle. "Sneaky bastard..." She whispered under her breath. "Ten of Swords you are determined to be betrayed by someone close. There's another card stuck to the back." She said. She took off the other card, "Eight of Swords, you'll be lonely most of your life." She said. Gon smiled, "I don't know if that's true, but if it is I'll be careful! What is your name?" The girl put the tarot cards in her pocket. "Machi." She said. "Alright, bye, Machi!" Gon said walking away with his friends.
When they we're gone Machi took out the tarot cards, "Hisoka...you got them good." She took out a needle and thread, "Nen stitches." She tossed the thread and needle and it attached to Gon's tank top. "Looks like I'm going on an adventure." She thought.
