What if much like Gon, Ging’s best friend was a mass-murdering-assassin-criminal, and much like his daughter, Ging "doesn't care about what is good or the bad" when he is curious or amazed.
What if because of Ging, Silva realized it was his wife, Kikyo, who was the one ripping apart the once close net Zoldyck family?
What if Silva was Gon’s godfather?
What if Gon and Killua grew up knowing each other?
What if Gon didn’t know who Aunt Mito and great-grandmother Abe?
What if all this all became because Ging actually raised his daughter, taking her of his adventures, and yes that even means to the Dark Continent.
(I just wanted to write a story where Gon was one of the girls of four in a family of very, very extremely scarily powerful men)

It's been a while since I've traveled yet alone for school. After my clan massacre, it feels like I haven't been active in school for a while, which doesn't sit right with me. If I ever want to defeat the phantom troupe, I need to get my education straight. The bus finally stopped as I got off the bus, squinting my eyes to adjust to the brightness and that's when I saw it. YorkNew College in big bold letters. The school was massive to say the least, with a fountain in the center surrounded by plants and people walking from place to place. I walked through the glass doors and there's already chaos. People are running left to right, chattering and talking rigging in your ears, people aimlessly focused on their phone, not paying attention to where they're going, no one clearly wanted to be here. I swallow the urge to get back on that bus and disappear for another year or two. “God, kill me now.” I say silently to myself.

So Gon goes on the hunt to find a soul brave (or stupid) enough to court the campus ice queen: Illumi Zoldyck. And he thinks he might have found that brave/stupid soul in the body of the infamously deranged Hisoka Morrow. But Hisoka won't just do it for free.
It's a mess of a situation, and enough to make Gon's head spin. But there's no obstacle so great that true love can't surpass it.
