It has been a few weeks since the royal cotillion and Mal was searching everywhere for Uma.
She didn’t know where the sea which has gone but Mal will find her, after all it was her fault why Uma escaped in the first place, if she didn’t go back to the isle then Uma would still be there.
Mal was on the balcony of Beast’s palace, looking at the isle. She felt tears prick the corner of her eyes. Ben told the future queen what Uma said, about the kids that were left on the isle after Mal and her friends turned good. She may have tried to destroy Auradon but she was right about the fact that the core four forgot their roots and left behind all the other kids who are stuck with their parents.
All The VK’s who will never get a second chance.
”Hey,” Ben whispers from the door to the balcony. Mal didn’t respond so he slowly walks towards her and wrap his arms around his girlfriend.
”Don’t worry too much, okay?” Ben quietly tells Mal.
”I can’t,” Mal replies.
”It’s not your fault,” Ben reassuringly says. Mel shook her head, she never told her boyfriend that she blamed herself but he knew her so well that she didn’t have to say anything. “We will find her but I don’t want you driving yourself mad trying to look for her.”
Mal shook her head, ‘too late, she thought but before she could respond clouds began to circle around her. They were dark greyish black color and what was more terrifying was that they began to flash lighting.
Ben pulled Mal close and down towards the ground. The daughter of Maleficent felt her magic begin to spike.
”Is that Uma?” Ben yells.
”I don’t know!” Mal shouts back. It didn’t feel like the magic Uma uses, it felt more like light magic than dark magic but Mal couldn’t really say that she was an expert on the different kinds of magic.
Before she could even release her dragon the clouds engulfed the two.
Elsewhere the thundering clouds did the same with several people around Auradon/The Isle of the Lost/Wonderland/Neverland/Olympus.
Mal’s head felt weird, when she opened her eyes she found that she was in a weird movie theater with a lot of people.
Wait-
How did she even get here?
”Mal?” She heard Evie’s confused and worried voice nearby. That made the Fae quickly stand up and look around to see who was all in the room.
Mal saw Evie, Jay, Carlos, Jane, Audrey, Chad, Lonnie and Ben right away. She then noticed other kids that she goes to school with and different Heroes around the room.
”Woah? What was that?” Jay asks, trying to hide his fear by sounding strong. Mal of course can see through him.
”What the flying devil just happened?” A familiar voice asks. Mal froze and she saw Evie, Jay and Carlos do the same. That voice belonged to Harriet Hook.
Thats impossible she was still on the isle.
Mal turns towards the voice and she froze. All the VK’s on the isle are here. And it wasn’t just a few kids, it was the whole group of VKs.
How did they get off the isle?
”EVIE!” Dizzy screeches in excitement but before she could run over to the blue haired girl, Tremaine’s granddaughter was stopped by her cousin, Anthony who was glaring at everyone.
“How did we get here?” Anthony’s sister, Annalise growls towards Beast and Belle.
At first the Auradonians gave the girl a confused look but then they realized that they were VKs and many people in the audience screamed.
”This had to be their fault!” Audrey shouts, pointing towards the group.
”Yeah because we can totally do that on our island with a barrier around it that stops anyone from using magic!” Zevon, the son of Yezma, crosses his arms and gave the girl a raised eyebrow.
Mal then noticed that Harry moved to be standing next to his older sister with a scowl on his face and eye’s scanning the room. Gil was with the rest of Uma’s crew and he just looking excited. Harriet then shouted “Calista Jane Hook!” The youngest Hook sibling (who had been in Auradon for a while) ran up to the elder two and pulled them into a hug. Harriet began to reprimand her while Harry gave her a nudge with a delighted smile.
”Those three look familiar,” a boy in a green outfit mumbles with a small fairy nods and a belle rings.
”FREDDIE!” Celia ran to the elder daughter of Dr. Facilier (who has also been in Auradon for a little while).
”Jay?!?” Jade, Jay’s cousin and the daughter of Nasira shouts excitedly.
”JADE!” Jay shouts the two quickly move next to each other and punched the other in the arm.
”And here I thought you forgot about me!” Jade happily states.
”Carlos, Dude!” Carlaos’ cousin Diego de vil shouts. Carlos quickly leaves his friend’s side and goes to hug his cousins, Diego, Hunter, and Ivy De Vil.
“Mallie!” Hadie shouts, running to give his big sister a hung which Mal tries to slyly give him, not wanting people to notice she is interacting with Hades’ son.
”But how did we get here then?” Herkie, the son of Hercules and Megara, and the person Mal tries to avoid as best as possible, asks. Next to him stood his parents who Mal definitely wanted to avoid.
Mal gulped when she saw Hades’ five siblings plus another goddess. She held her little brother closer to herself.
“That is a good question my dear,” a light hearted voice says with a laugh. Everyone’s heads snap towards the voice.
A man with a long white beard and white hair in long robes stood up front with three old ladies.
”Oh My! It’s Merlin!” A blue haired girl shouts in excitement. Mal didn’t know who she was but Chad seemed to because he gave the girl a smile before he walked over towards the little girl and her parents.
”Yes, indeed young Chloe,” Merlin chuckles.
”The Moirai,” she heard Ben’s mom whisper is shock. “I read about you but I never thought…”
”Yes your majesty,” the three women say at the same time. Before one on the left starts to speak by herself.
”I am Clotho, mortals and this is Lachesis,” she gestures towards the middle sister, “and Atropos,” she points to the last sister.
“And what can we do for you ladies?” A deep rumbling voice asks. That of course had the god, Zeus. Mal can recognize the god’s rumbling voice from anywhere. Her mom taught her and said that this was a lesson her Dad wanted her to learn. That means the God next to him had to be Poseidon, the Goddess next to him had to be Hera and the two of the three had to be Hestia and Demeter. Which means the last goddess was probably Demeter’s daughter Persephone.
For a long time she was confused why a mortal wanted her to learn about the ancient gods unless he had something to do with them but that didn’t seem right. It wasn’t until she went back to the isle that she found some of her mom’s things (before she went to her old hide out) and found out the truth.
Her father was the god Hades.
Of course that didn’t really matter because he was never there for her anyways but it was still a shock.
But that does still mean her and Hadie’s aunts and uncles are in the same room as them. She just hopes her little brother also knew to stay away from them.
“We have seen the way that these children are being treated,” Lachesis says, pointing towards the VK’s. “Even some Villains deserve a second chance but Auradon is too blind to see it.”
”No villain deserves a second chance!” Ariana Rose shouts. Mal rolled her eyes, that was the cousin of Audrey and she was even worse than her boyfriend’s ex. At least Audrey and Mal can hang out somewhat but Ariana was a total nightmare.
”So what you brought us here to talk?” Uma’s voice filled the room. All the Aurodonians gasps and Mal growls towards the sea witch.
”Uma,” Gil and Harry both say as they rushed over towards their captain.
”That’s my name, don’t wear it out,” Uma laughs. She seems to have noticed that everyone was glaring at her and so she rolls her eyes. “Relax, I was brought here same as you. Do you really think I would be able to do something if I could?” She sounds like she is asking a question but she really wasn’t. She then turns to the two boys and her crew. “You won’t believe the things those four have been keeping for themselves, there are fruits with fur on it and fish so big that you can ride on.” Uma tells them making the VK’s look at her with envy. “And they are keeping it all to themselves.”
”Like your one to talk after you abandoned your crew?” Harriet sneers.
”I’m looking for a way out for everyone,” Uma glares at the daughter of Captain Hook. Harry pulled Uma back and whispers something into her ear. Uma rolls her eyes and nods, clearly deciding not to fight her first mate’s sister.
”Uma is in deed here to learn, the same as all of you,” Merlin says interrupting the stare off that Uma and Harriet were having. “You all need to learns something. You all have it better than the world you could be living in.”
”So you brought us here why?” Mad Maddy demands.
”Me and my Friend, Yen Sid, have been in contact recently and we realized that you are all talking about a second chance when these children haven’t even had a first chance yet. They were locked away before they were even born.” Merlin shakes his head in disappointment.
”And what does that have to do with me?” A red haired girl asks.
”Your life is very similar to the VK’s lives, Red,” Merlin tells the girl.
”But why are we here?” Queen Leah demands, crossing her arms.
”To watch another universe and learn that your world is lucky and that these young children deserve a chance,” Clotho says.
”Merlin came to us asking for help and we thought the best way to help is to show you another universe, one where Belle and Best did not unite the kingdoms and the villains where not sent to the isle,” Atropos says.
”Wait but wouldn’t most of the villains be dead then?” Lonnie asks.
”No because they would have found another way to revive themselves,” Lachesis shakes her head. As all the Heroes and AKs gasp in fear while the VKs roll their eyes. “Even now, Auradon has never been safe. The villains have been looking for an escape for a while and even before Uma found a way there had been a break through the barrier.”
Carlos shifted uncomfortably in his seat. His three friends/siblings gave him a concern look.
”Wait, seriously?” Diego ask. All the Auradonians began to whisper to each other in fear while the VKs whisper is shock that they never heard about this.
”HOW?” Beast roars making Carlos flinch and hold Dude closer to his chest.
”Uh… are you okay?” Dude asks Carlos, worried for his friend.
”Yeah, just shocked,” Carlos pets Dude and hold him close.
”Doesn’t matter but what does matter is that Uma won’t be the last to escape and that others are trying,” Clotho says.
”So why aren’t we watching that?” Flynn holds all of his kids close to his chest.
”Because you all need to understand that things could be worse and you can’t punish the children for the crimes of the parents,” Lachesis says.
”Shall we begin?” Atropos asks as the three sisters disappear.
”Yes- yes,” Merlin says as he moved his hands in the air. “Oh, uh…” he opened his robes and looks through his many pockets. “Where is my wand…” he pulls out a few birds and flowers, “uh Ah!”Eureka!” He pulls out his wand from one of his pockets.
Many AKs and Heroes began to laugh lightly while the VKs roll their eyes.
”Now we shall begin?” The wizard asks, when no one said anything and they all took their seat, he smiled and waved his want. “Alakazam!” The screen turns on and Merlin disappears.
The First Episode is about to begin.
