Simon walks to the table far off in the back of the geology section.
The stranger is where he last saw them, now with their neck bent in an uncomfortable way.
Simon places a soft blanket over their shoulders, quiet and careful.
It would be best for their neck if they changed position, but Simon's not sure he could survive the embarrassment of that interaction.
The library AC is the biggest enemy now.
One day, he’ll be brave enough to wake them up and ask for a name, maybe even a number.
For now, he’ll keep making sure they’re comfortable.
