Everything would have been fine if it weren’t for the fact that, somewhere between deciding if the rice was worth getting up for and realizing he hadn’t seen Rin in a couple of hours, Nagi had decided to plop himself right next to Rin. Close. Too close. Close enough that everyone within a ten-foot radius could see the way Rin didn’t even flinch, didn’t shove him away like he would have with anyone else, and he was playing with Nagi's hair with one hand.
