Summary
Kurotori Miyazaki is a complex and promising student at U.A. High School whose quirk, “Hell’s Embrace,” grants him the ability to possess other people’s bodies, an ability that mirrors demonic possession. His reasoning for attending U.A. High School lies in his seemingly quirkless, younger sister's dream of becoming a hero.
At U.A., Kurotori struggles with self-doubt and an overwhelming desire to prove himself to his mother. His journey takes a turn when he meets Hawks, the number two hero who's just a bit too fast. Through their growing bond, Kurotori begins to question what it truly means to be a hero and whether the hero society he strives to serve is as noble as it appears.
Beneath his quiet determination lies a history of pain. His mother, a manipulative and abusive woman, sees his power only as a tool for profit. When Kurotori begins to resist her control, she subjects him to brutal punishment, shattering the illusion that she ever cared for him. This trauma becomes the catalyst that forces Kurotori to choose his own path, no longer living for others’ expectations but for the ideal of heroism he believes in.
