I ran into my trailer and closed the door, I fixed my pirate hat as I walked to the couch.
My phone pinged which made me look at it. I saw that Brandi texted me back.
My sister Bran🥰❤️🤣: no I just woke up again.. is everything okay?
I unlocked the phone to FaceTime her. she immediately answered it. Mama T’s face appeared on the phone. "Hey China" she said with little smile.
“Hey mama T where’s Brandi?” I asked.
Brandi took the phone from her mom. “Ok dad, my best friend just FaceTimed me so I have to go” she said holding the house phone to her mouth.
“Which one?” I heard her dad.
He is on the speaker.
“China” she said.
“Oh the one that you and your mom keep talking about.. Tell her that I want to meet her next time she visits.. love you ” he said.
she sighed. “Okay I will.. love you too” she said before giving the house phone to mama T.
She looked at me on the phone and smirked. “Hey you FaceTimed me as Uma” she said.
Her smirk disappeared. “Are you okay?” She asked worriedly.
I teared up. “No I was trying to do the scene where Uma tells fairy mother that she wants to invite princess Red.. every time I looked at the picture of Cameron I started crying so they gave me a break and they told me we’ll do it again when I am ready” I said.
She sighed. "I can imagine it’s hard for you to film that scene.. I wish I was there for you" she said.
"Same here baby. Did Mama T say anything about you coming to Atlanta?” I asked hoping that mama T said it’s okay for her to go to Atlanta.
“Ohh shit I forgot I had to tell you something last night.. she said I can go to Atlanta.. I knew she would say yes because she really trust you with me plus I had some friends there who she trust with me" she said with smile.
I started smiling big. “Yay! When are you coming?” I asked excitedly.
“I don’t know.. probably Thursday or Friday because I need a break from Detroit” Brandi said.
She looked upset. “What’s wrong sis?” I asked worriedly.
“The family drama.. I’ll tell you later or when I see you because you probably have to go back to the set soon” Brandi said.
“Brandi, I don’t give a fuck about if I have to go to the set because you’re more important than this damn movie” I said in a serious tone.
“China, i want to talk about to you about my family drama with my dad and his side of family now but it’s lot of drama and you’re at work now.. I’ll tell you later I promise” she said.
“Okay you better because I want to know what’s going on and why aren’t you close with your dad.” I said.
“We used to be close when I was a kid.. fuck Chi I have to go because I have to pick Alex up from work”Brandi said.
"Okay baby I’ll call you later when I get home. I love you sis” I said with smile.
She smiled. “I love you too baby sis bye” she said.
I was about to hang up when she said my name.
“Yeah?” I said.
“You got this.. let a tear fall when you said that line" she said softly before she hang up.
I got up and looked at the ceiling. "Lord please help me" I said.

I got back into my car and closed the car door, I locked the doors putting my seatbelt on.
I started hitting the steering wheel. I am so mad because my one of half sisters called mom a whore.
“Fuck this I’m going to Atlanta tomorrow before I lose my mind, ” I said.
I pulled my phone to call mom to let her know that I’m on the way to home, she answered on the second ring. “Hello?” She said.
I smiled hearing her voice. “Hey mommy I’m on my way to home” I said.
“Okay are you okay?” She asked.
"No I just punched dad’s one of daughters. I will tell what happened when I get home and I’m going to Atlanta tomorrow before I lose my mind” I said turning the engine on.
Next day Wednesday January 11th 2023
Atlanta Georgia
(Brandi pov)
I walked out of the airport with mom.
“Brandi!” I heard my another best friend’s Lindsey voice
I smiled excitedly and turned around seeing her running over to us. “Linds!” I said letting go of my carry on.
She hugged me tightly, I hugged back the same way.
I missed her so much.
I pulled away and looked at her . “Girl look at you.. you look great!" I said with smile.
“Aww thank you.. you look great too. 27 looks good on both of us” she said with smile.
“Girl I can’t believe we are almost 30” I said.
"Me either it feels like yesterday I gave the birth to Brandon” she said.
She was a teen mom. I can’t believe her oldest son is going to be 11 in few weeks.
Lindsay looked at mom and hugged her, she hugged back.
“Brandi!” I heard the familiar voice. I turned around and saw China’s sisters Lauryn and Sierra and her mom Shontell.
I thought Lindsey and I were going to meet them at the restaurant.
“Hey yall I thought I was going to meet you at the restaurant” I said confused.
“We were but mom wanted to meet your mom” Sierra said.
“Oh okay" I said.
“Hi I’m Tonya her mom ” mom said introducing herself.
“Hi I’m Lindsey Brandi’s childhood best friend” Lindsey said.
“Nice to meet yall” Lauryn said with smile.
“You too. I have to go” mom said.
“Okay I will let you know that Brandi is in the good hands” mama McClain said with smile.
Mom smiled. “I know because I can trust yall with my baby.. take the good care of her” she said looking at me.
“We will, we will leave yall alone” mama McClain said
They walked away after grabbing my suitcases and wheelchair.
I looked at mom and hugged her tightly, she hugged back the same way. “I’m going to miss you mom” I said tearing up.
“Im going to miss you more my baby girl, call me everyday no matter what the time because I’ll answer and be good” she said pulling away.
I laughed tearfully. “I will. I love you mommy” I said with smile.
She kissed my forehead. “I love you too baby. Give China a kiss and hug for me” she said with smile.
“I will. Call me when you land “ I said.
She nodded before I walked away to McClain ladies and Lindsey wiping my tears away.
Sierra noticed me first. “Hey you good?” She asked worriedly.
“Yeah it’s my first time in another state without anyone in my family in the long time” I said looking at her.
“Oh, don’t worry because you will have fun!” Lauryn said putting her arm around my shoulder.
“Okay thank you for letting me stay with yall” I said with smile.
“No need to thank us because you’re family now” mama McClain said with little smile.
“B, I have to go home because the boys will be home soon” Lindsey said putting her phone in her pocket.
“Okay, I’ll call you later. Love you sis” I said with smile.
She kissed my cheek. “Ok love you too” she said.
“Bye yall” she said as she waved to the McClain ladies.
“Bye” they said with smile.
“Yall we probably need to go before China comes to her trailer and she will see that yall are gone” mama McClain said looking at Lauryn and Sierra.
China doesn’t know I’m coming today
"She doesn’t know nothing right?” I asked.
“No she only knows you called me” Lauryn said.
"Good because I wanted to surprise her like she surprised me" I said with smirk.

I walked into my trailer texting Brandi because I haven’t heard from her at all today.
I hope she is alright.
I looked up from my phone and saw my best friend and sister, my eyes lit up.
Brandi smiled as she got up. “Hey little sister” she said.
I smiled big. “Oh my god my baby!” I said running over, I put my phone on the table , I hugged her tightly, she hugged back the same way.
I pulled away and slapped her in the arm.“Girl you got me worried because you haven’t answered my calls or texts at all today” I said.
Brandi chuckled rubbing her arm. “Sorry I was on the plane. I had to get out of Michigan before I lose my mind” she said.
"Okay something definitely happened yesterday for you to come to Atlanta early” I said.
"Yeah I needed to get out of that damn state.. oh sorry Mama McClain” she said looking at mom.
I looked at mom and my sisters. “Did yall know she was coming today?” I asked knowing the answer.
They nodded. “I told them not to tell you.. I was about to text you to tell you I was coming today but I was like nah I’m gonna surprise her” Brandi said with smirk.
I chuckled. “Well this was a great surprise because I missed you” I said hugging her again.
Brandi hugged back.“I missed you too baby sister “she said, I kissed her cheek before pulling away.
"Well I’ll change now” I told my sisters and mom before grabbing my clothes, I walked into the bathroom.

I walked out of my bathroom after wiping the Uma makeup off.
I saw that Brandi is sitting on my bed being on her phone.
“I can’t believe you punched your sister” I said.
She looked up from her phone. “Don’t call her that because she is not my sister” Brandi said.
I chuckled. “Ok sorry. You should have kick her ass" I said walking over, I sat down next to her.
“I was about to but Tikeya pulled me back after she hit me back " she said.
I got mad "that bitch hit my best friend?! Oh hell no I don’t like her even though I haven’t met her yet” I said.
Hopefully I will never meet her.
“Hopefully she is not there when I bring you to meet my dad because you will probably cuss her out or kick her ass when she talks shit about me” she said.
"Yeah what did she say about my Mama T?” I asked.
“She called her a whore.. Chi as soon as she said that I punched her and cussed her out. I don’t play about my mama at all “ she said.
I love her relationship with her mom.
“I know baby. I don’t play with mine either” I said.
She chuckled. “Oh I know because you were beefing with Anita Baker on twitter” she said.
“I still can’t believe that old lady were rude to my mom.. I didn’t know she was from Detroit” I said.
She shrugged.“Well I barely know her so I wasn’t fan of her. “ she said.
“That was the same year that we met right?” I asked.
“Yeah I found out about you coming to Detroit from someone on twitter. It’s good thing I found out from someone because you were not going to say anything until last minute" she said chuckling.
I rolled my eyes pushing her playfully. “Oh shut up!” I said smiling.
She laughed. "I’m glad I came today because I missed you” Brandi said looking at me.
"I missed you too so much even though it was only 2 days since we saw each other” I said pulling her in for a hug.
Brandi hugged back. "I needed your hug yesterday because it was bad day” I said.
"Yeah it was really bad day for both of us. I wish we lived closer to each other” she said pulling away.
“Same here because I could come to your house every day" I said.
“So you can mess with me” she said chucking.
I smirked. "Exactly” I said.
She rolled her eyes laying down. “Let’s take a nap because I have been up since 4 in the morning and I can tell you’re sleepy ” Brandi said.
I yawned. “Ok” I said laying down.
(Brandi pov)
I woke up from the nap and rubbed my eyes, I rolled over and saw that China is gone.
I sat up and grabbed my walker cane, I got up as the door opened, I looked over and saw China. "Hey" I said.
China looked over and smiled. “Hey B did you have a good nap?” She asked.
“Yeah I did you?” I asked with little smile.
"Yeah until my phone wakes me up" she said.
“Damn I must be knocked out because I didn’t hear nothing" I said.
“Yeah you were. I took a picture” she said with smirk.
I looked at her. “Don’t worry I didn’t post it, I sent it to Mama T to let her know you’re okay” China said.
“Oh okay she is worried about leaving me here.. it’s first time that I am in Atlanta without her or my sisters since I was 21” I said.
"Oh she doesn’t have nothing to worry about because my family and I are here and we will take the good care of you” China said with little smile.
" I know so is my childhood best friend Lindsey” I said sitting down on her bed because my left leg is starting to hurt.
"I can’t wait to meet her” She said walking over, she climbed onto the bed.
"She can’t wait to meet you too.. you don’t have to go to the set tomorrow right?” I asked.
"No because I don’t have many scenes” China said.
“Oh okay” I said.
I saw a picture of Cameron. He is dressed as his descendants character.
“I asked them if I could bring this picture to home.. it was damn hard to film that scene" China said.
I looked at her. She is staring at the picture with a sad smile. I scooted over to her and wrapped my arm around her shoulders. She put her head on my shoulder. “I told him about you after we met” she said.
“Really?” I asked looking down at her.
“Yeah he called you beautiful when I showed you a picture of us” China said.
“Wow Cameron Boyce knew about me and called me beautiful” I said shocked.
“Yeah he told me I should’ve ask you for your number because he knew we would be best friends and you know what?” She said looking up at me.
“What?” I asked.
“I kinda knew we would be best friends too” she said smiling.
I smiled. "my fan to my best friend/sister” China said with smile.
"After 10 years of talking on social media-“ China cut me off.
“We were talking to each other on social media for 10 years?!” She said shocked.
“Yeah” I said.
“Damn I was 14 when I started talking to you.. wow” China said.
“Yeah we were babies” I said.
“I remember when I first saw the picture of you I was like “wow she is beautiful..” she said with little smile.
I blushed. “Girl you should see my face when you called me beautiful. I was blushing so hard" I said with a chuckle.
China chuckled. “Now I wish I would see it” she said with little smirk.
I rolled my eyes smiling. "I never thought I would be the best friends with a fan but I’m glad it’s you” she said with little smile.
“Well I never thought I would be the best friends with my favorite actress" I said with little smile.
"I thought Kyla Pratt is your favorite actress” she said.
“Well you and her are my top two favorite actresses” I said.
“Oh okay. I love you” she said with smile.
“I love you too Chi” I said with little smile.
She kissed my cheek. We started staring at each other, she kissed me and I kissed back.
She quickly pulled away with the wide eyes. "Oh my god I’m sorry Brandi” she said.
She quickly got up and ran to the door, she opened the door and ran out closing the door behind her.
What the fuck did just happened?
I grabbed my phone and texted Lindsey.

We always text each other code red if any of us need to talk or in the danger.
I started to wait for her to text back.
I touched my lips.

I walked back into my room and saw that Brandi is walking out of my bathroom.
"Hey" I said nervously.
She turned around. "Hey” she said softly.
I closed the door as she walked to the bed. "We need to talk" I said walking to the bed.
“Yeah we do.. I never realized I like you more than a friend until now" Brandi said.
"Me either, I know I felt something in that kiss” I said sitting down on the bed.
She sat down next to me “I felt something too but I don’t know how do this going to work because you live in Atlanta and I live in Michigan" she said looking at me.
I grabbed her hand. We will figure it out” I said.
“You want to be with me?” Brandi asked.
“Yeah I do" I said.
"I want to be with you too but China people think you’re a Jesus freak because of those videos awhile ago and you coming out as gay or bi they will give you the hate more than they do now..” Brandi said looking at me.
“I know but I don’t give a damn what they say about me because I don’t want to hide you or our relationship" I said.
“Ok but if I see a tweet or post. I’ll probably say something because I don’t play about you at all” she said.
I laughed because I know she would kick someone’s ass about me. "Okay baby" I said leaning over, I pecked her lips.
“You know I would kill or beat someone up about you" I said with little smirk.
She chuckled. “I know now because you almost beat Adam’s ex up with Alex last week.. I was like oh man Jennifer is going to come out” Brandi said.
I laughed. "That bitch is lucky that you kicked her out. No one disrespect or put their hands on my girl" I said.
“Oh so I’m your girl now?” She asked with little smirk.
I leaned in and kissed her, she kissed back, I pulled away to look at her. “Yeah you are my girlfriend" I said with little smile.
She smiled and kissed me, I kissed back putting my hands on each side of her face.
Damn she is a good kisser.
Her stomach growled which made us pull away laughing.
“I guess I need to feed you now huh?” I asked.
She shook her head. “Yes you do but What time do yall eat dinner?” She said.
“Probably soon.. I’ll make you a P&j” I said getting up.
She got up and I grabbed her hand.
We walked to the door.

I am making Brandi a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when Brandi walked back in, she looks upset.
“I can’t take a damn break” she said walking over.
"What’s wrong?” I asked knowing that she was on the phone with her dad and mom
She sat down on the one of stool. “My dad wants me to apologize to his daughter but I am not doing that and mom told him I don’t need to apologize because she needs to apologize to us for disrespecting us” she said looking at me.
“Right you don’t need to apologize to that girl.. what did she say about you?” I asked.
She reached over and grabbed the knife from me, she put it on the counter.
“Well she called me a bitch and disabled freak” she said.
I got pissed and took a deep breath. "Well she is lucky I was not there because I would kick her ass” I said grabbing a knife that I had.
I countined to make her sandwich. “What kind of a person treats their sister like that? I wouldn’t treat my sisters like that” I said.
Brandi nodded. “Well yesterday was the first time I saw her. I didn’t know about her until about 7 years ago so we didn’t know each other" she said.
"So y’all didn’t know each other? and she disrespected you in the first time she saw you” I said.
“Yeah I heard that she is a worse person from my other half sister and she is right because she is” she said.
Brandi sighed. “I came to Atlanta and this drama followed me” she said.
I sighed because I hate seeing her like this.
Mom walked in and saw us. “Hey Brandi did you talk to your mom?” She asked looking at me
“Yes I just got off the phone with her and my dad” she said.
“I talked to her too while she was asleep” I said.
Brandi looked at me. “She probably called me first to let me know she landed because I saw a missed call from her” she said.
“She did” I said.
“Well I’m glad she landed safely” mom said with little smile.
“Same here. my dad is not happy about me coming to Atlanta” she said.
"Why is not he happy about you coming to Atlanta?" Mom asked sitting down next to her.
“Because his birthday is on Saturday but we haven’t spent our birthdays together in years because we are not close like we used to be when I was younger” Brandi said.
“Why are yall not close?” I asked.
“He abandoned me when I was 10 but he was still be there for his other kids. He is trying to make it up but he let his one of daughters disrespected me and my mom yesterday and he wants me to apologize to her for punching her and cussing her out” Brandi said.
“Hold up he didn’t defend you and mama T?” I asked.
She shook her head. “I love my dad but I can’t stand him because he lies all the time and he is always acting like everything is okay when it’s not” she said.
“Wait what happened yesterday?” Mom asked.
Brandi told her what happened.
Mom got pissed. “I love how you defended your mom and I can’t believe he let her disrespect yall like that.. I know what China would do if she was there” she said looking at me with little smirk.
I chuckled. “Well I’m glad she was not there” Brandi said.
“So are yall together?” Mom asked smirking.
Our eyes widened. “Who told you that we kissed?” I asked looking at her.
“Lauryn” she said.
I rolled my eyes. “Figures.. yes we are together” I said with smile.
"I’m happy for yall. I saw the way you looked at each other earlier” mom said with smile.
“Wait you knew we like each other?" I asked.
“Yeah” she said.
Wow Lauryn, Sierra and mom knew I like Brandi before I realized that I like her.
(Brandi pov)
“I told you so!” Allexus screamed into my ear so loud that I held the phone away from it.
China bursted out laughing as I put the phone on the speaker. “Alex stop screaming in my ear before I fly back and beat you up” I said.
“No I am right about you liking China” Allexus said.
I rolled my eyes. “Let me speak to her” she said.
I chuckled.“She is right here” I said.
“Hey girl how are you doing?” China asked with little smile.
“Hey China I’m ok you?” Allexus said.
"I am ok too” she said
“That’s good. China I love you and all but Brandi is my sister so please don’t hurt her because if you do I will fly to Atlanta and kick your ass” Allexus said in a serious tone.
"Briaunna!” I said calling her by her middle name.
China chuckled. “Baby, it’s okay. Alex I’ll never hurt her I promise and I love you too ” she said.
“Good.. yall I have to go because my baby is home, love yall and Brandi I’ll call you later so you can tell me what happened yesterday” she said before hanging up before any of us say anything.
I shook my head. "I’m sorry about her.. it’s just she is really protective of me" I said.
China chuckled. “It’s okay, i understand” she said.
“So are you bi?” I asked.
“I guess I am because I still like guys but you are the first girl that I like” she said.
“You are the first girl that I like so I guess I was always bi but I always preferred guys over girls” I said.
I found some girls attractive and I caught myself staring at the picture of China in few months after we met.
"Same here.. you are the first girl I kissed" China said with smirk.
"You are the first person I’ve kissed” I said.
China’s eyes widened. “You never kissed anyone before?!” She said shocked.
I nodded. "Wow. You’re the good kisser” she said with smile.
I blushed.“Really?” I asked.
“Yeah you are” China said leaning in, she kissed me putting her hands on each side of my face. I kissed back as I wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her closer.
Two minutes of making out her phone started ringing, she pulled away groaning. She grabbed it and sighed. “I’ll be right back babe” she said getting up, she walked to the door and opened it, she walked out of her room closing the door behind her.
I laid down.
I can’t believe China Anne McClain is my girlfriend.
