Intertwined Destinies

Summary:

In a world where chaos reigns and dinosaurs run free, Brooklynn, finds herself constantly crossing paths with Soyona Santos. Initially enemies, the tension between them grows into something much more complicated as they crept into the ruins of Biosyn’s Lab. Caught between their conflicting missions, the two women must navigate a web of danger, betrayal, and desire. As their rivalry heats up, so does the undeniable attraction between them, forcing Brooklynn and Soyona to confront not just the threats around them, but the emotions neither expected to find. Sometimes the greatest risks are the ones taken with the heart.

Notes:

Is a slow-burn, i think, with a hint of ABO (So implicit that i don't even know if it's really ABO) romance, there are 4 chapters, and an alternative ending.

Hope you liked it!

(I don't know why a ABO fic, it just kind of went by itself)
(English is not my first language, sorry for any spelling mistakes :D)

Chapter Text

In the dense rainforest, tension hung in the air like suffocating heat. Brooklynn, a fearless young woman always searching for answers, moved carefully among the trees, her senses on high alert. She had separated from the group while investigating an important clue about Biosyn's secret operations, but what she didn't expect was the presence of Soyona Santos, the enigmatic antagonist whose plans were always shrouded in mystery.

The wind carried a peculiar aroma, something Brooklynn could identify immediately, which made her body react in an unexpected way. Her heart started to beat faster, and she felt a wave of heat wash over her skin. It was then that she heard light, calculated footsteps behind her.

"Always stuck where you don't belong, Brooklynn," - Soyona's voice cut the air like a blade. She appeared between the trees, with a penetrating gaze and a slight smile on her lips. But there was something different about her posture, something that made Brooklynn's stomach turn in a way she couldn't explain.

Brooklynn maintained her composure, even though her body was responding strangely. - "Someone needs to stop you, Soyona. And I won't stop trying until I find out everything you're up to."

Soyona smiled more widely, taking a few steps towards Brooklynn, her dark eyes reflecting the faint light that passed through the treetops. - "I admire your determination. But you're playing a dangerous game, darling."

Brooklynn narrowed her eyes, trying to ignore the strange heat that seemed to grow in her chest whenever Soyona approached. "You will not intimidate me." - Brooklynn said, releasing warning pheromones.

"Intimidate you? That was never my intention..." - Soyona said softly, her voice now closer, almost seductive. There was something in her tone that stirred confusion in Brooklynn. The tension in the air has changed, transforming from something purely dangerous to something much more personal, now also charged with Soyona's pheromones, deeper.

Brooklynn took a step back, trying to keep her distance from Soyona, but it was useless. Her body betrayed her mind, her instincts pulled her towards Soyona in a way she had never felt. And the worst part: Soyona knew it. The slight smile on her face indicated that she was perfectly aware of what was happening. Aware of what she was doing with the her.

"You feel it too, don't you?" - Soyona murmured, her eyes fixed on Brooklynn's. - "This... bond between us."

Brooklynn felt her breath hitch for a moment. She didn't want to admit it, but something was changing between them. Soyona's controlling aura enveloped her, making her feel vulnerable in an unexpected way, and at the same time, more alive than ever.

"This is crazy," - Brooklynn whispered, trying to convince herself.

Soyona took another step forward, now dangerously close. - "Maybe it is... But there are greater forces at play here than you or I can control."

Brooklynn felt the heat rise, her instincts boiling over, and before she could process what was happening, Soyona reached out, her fingers gently touching Brooklynn's face. The touch was electrifying, and Brooklynn felt her entire body react to the simple contact. Her mind screamed to back away, but something deeper, something primal, kept her from moving away.

Soyona leaned in, her lips inches from Brooklynn's. - "You can fight this all you want... But in the end, we're just pawns in a much bigger game."

Brooklynn closed her eyes, her breathing labored. What should she do? Give in to the desire that dominated her or continue fighting against Soyona's magnetism? She never imagined she would be in a situation like this, so vulnerable and at the same time so attracted to the woman who was supposed to be her enemy.

The forest around them seemed to disappear, leaving only the sound of their breathing, the growing heat between their bodies, and the knowledge that, somehow, their destinies were intertwined in a way that neither of them could change.
