Explanation: This story is essentially a non-canon story to Haara Brightwater’s works, as it takes place in an entirely separate setting. All characters from there are mostly different. This is a D&D game where I play against myself as a sort of test, meaning it's my first time actually playing D&D. Please bear with this.

On a road to the Triboar Trail, a wagon is being carried by a pair of oxens, with a girl holding the reins by hand. She is a changeling, which is easily told by her ghostly white skin and colorless hair. For some reason, the changeling girl is completely nude save for a necklace she's wearing. Next to her, a blonde haired elf girl is napping, wearing a single piece of green cloth with white cape, a pair of gloves and stockings to go along with her boots.

The changeling is known as Spectra, and the elf is called Alvina. And right now, they're trying to ignore the sound of someone pumping into another, with moans of pleasure coming inside the wagon.

Inside the wagon wagon, a nude young man with brown shoulder-length hair – tied in a ponytail – pumped away inside an equally nude dark-skinned cat girl in a doggy style, with the cat girl’s moan pitch higher and higher with each thrust into her entrance. Then the girl moaned louder, her inside squeezing the young man’s hyper weapon as he thrust hard inside, releasing his seed into her womb.

The two panted for a moment, before the boy removed himself from the catgirl, causing the semen that the boy released to spill out of her. The catgirl falls down to the ground, losing control of her body as her eyes roll back.

The brown haired boy named Rance admired his handy work before turning to face the other occupant in the room, a dirty blonde haired girl who is also just as nude as everyone is. Her tan skin is covered by white tribal tattoo, and the hair is done in a ponytail.

“Your turn~.” The blonde girl scoffed as she laid herself on her back, leg spread as the girl named Haara used both of her hands to spread the entrance open.

“Go on, claim your prize.”

Without hesitation, Rance plunges his hyper weapon into her fold, causing the girl to shudder. Then the brunette immediately starts to pump on her, causing Haara to let out a noise in surprise at the boy's eagerness. Rance grabbed her waist and straddled her to prevent the blonde girl’s legs from being separated from each other.

“Yo-you're being a li-ittle r-rough here!”

“That's not even half of it!”

“W-whoaaa!!”

The boy's pace quickened, jackhammering her inside so much that the tip of his hyper weapon touched the entrance to Haara's womb, causing her to groan louder. Leaning down to her face, Rance starts to kiss Haara, who hesitantly kisses back in response. Outside, Spectra tried hard to ignore their copulation, her face blushed as thoughts ran about what she wanted to do with the boy named Rance.

“Ooh, why must I have to be out here with them?” An odd sentiment, considering that she's a prostitute sold to Rance as his follower. “Okay Spectra, just keep riding and ignore the sound. Sooner or later, you'll be reaching Phandalin in no time.”

“Ah~!” Haara moaned louder behind her, with Rance continuing to pump into her without stopping. Spectra simply lowered her head to her knee, letting out a groan of frustration. The changeling then turned toward the sleeping elf, and noticed that Alvina’s face was red while her ears twitched. Seeing her, Spectra could only sigh in despair.

“Please gods, just give me something to distract me from it.”

Back in the wagon, Haara still shudders from her orgasm, while Rance has yet to climax like her. So the boy continues to hammer her inside, while the dark-skinned cat girl named Fiora slowly crawls toward Haara and sucks on the blonde girl's right tit. Haara squealed in shock, only to moan even louder as Rance also started sucking on her left tit. The blonde girl tries to say something, but her words are reduced to noise due to a combination of Rance's thrust and the two’s tits sucking.

Eventually, after half of minutes of thrusting, Rance ram his hyper weapon deep inside her, spurting out into Haara as she makes more noise from it. After a few spurt, Rance pulled himself out of Haara and marveled at his handiwork.

“Hey Rance.” The brunette watched as Fiora laid on top of Haara. The dark-skinned cat girl turned to face him and raised her ass to him. “One more round?”

At her offer, Rance's eyes glint as he smiles.

For the next hour, Spectra had to handle the sound of the three occupants of the wagon having sex. Their loud moans and flesh pounding caused the wagon to shake, causing the changeling concerns due to the content inside. Not that Rance and Fiora cared about that anyway.

They've been on the Triboar Trail for about half a day, the young man having finished copulating with the two girls. As the wagon comes around a bend, Spectra spots two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of her, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side.

“What the? Hey, wake up! You three need to see this!”

Groaning at Spectra’s yell, Rance got up and stared at what the changeling saw that needed his attention. Upon seeing the two dead horses, Rance wakes the two up by tapping their head.

Both Fiora and Haara, while embracing each other, groan as they open their eyes. Unbothered by the fact that she's embracing with a girl, Haara got up from the ground while stretching her arms while the catgirl rubbed her eyes. Rance starts to put on his clothes, planning to arm himself up in case of an ambush.

“What is it?” Rance point at where the two dead horses are at in response, which Haara has taken note. Narrowing her eyes, the blonde girl picked up her spear and climbed down from the wagon, while Fiora – upon noticing the horses as well – helped Rance in putting on the breastplate.

The two girls don't bother putting on some clothes because they don't want to. With Fiora only wearing the robes while in a civilized town, while Haara, despite being a monk, simply cast Disguise Self to make it seem like she's wearing clothes.

Haara suspiciously approached the front wagon, with Alvina having already drawn her longbow and an arrow out. The elf climbed down the wagon and went in front of the oxens, while Haara approached the dead horses cautiously.

Haara, investigation check: d20(5)-1: 4 (fail)
Alvina, investigation check: d20(9)+1: 10 (pass)

“What do you think, Alvina?”

“... Damn it, I recognize those horses.” The blonde elf swore, having taken a closer look at them. “They belonged to Gundren and Sildar.”

Haara swore, realizing the gravity of the situation. It had been a day since the dwarf had gone ahead, with the guildmaster assigning Rance and Alvina to escort the wagon. Haara just so happened to be planning on going there, with Fiora deciding to accompany them. The brunette had also brought a changeling prostitute (Spectra) as his follower.

Speaking of the brunette, he had just climbed out of the wagon, wearing a breastplate over the brown tunic and trousers, with a pair of boots and gauntlet to complete the set. On his left hip is a longsword strap to it, with a halberd on his back over the cape alongside a longbow and a quiver.

Fiora followed after him, letting her nude body taste the wind in the air. Rance quickly reached Haara and approached the two horses to take a look at them. The saddlebags have been looted. Nearby lies an empty leather map case.

That fact should've worried Rance…

Stealth: d20(9)+6: 15

But the arrow that zipped past him pretty much made it invalid.

“Fuck, ambush!” Haara yells out, using the spear to deflect an arrow headed to her. From both sides, two goblins are ready to fully attack the party.

Initiative Order: Alvina > Goblins > Rance > Spectra > Haara > Fiora

Scimitar vs Rance: d20(9)+4: 13 (Miss)
Scimitar vs Rance: d20(3)+4: 7 (Miss)
Shortbow vs Haara: d20(11)+4: 15 (Miss)
Shortbow vs Haara: d20(13)+4: 17 (Hit). Damage: d6(1)+2: 3 piercing damage.
Haara has 7/10 HP remaining.

Both scimitar wielding goblins attack the brunette boy, seeing him much more dangerous than the others. Despite being caught off-guard and attacked on both sides, Rance is able to duck under a swing from a goblin behind him, unsheathing his sword to block the attack from his front. Not letting it up, the goblins press on, forcing the young man on the defensive with his longsword.

Haara, seeing him in danger, quickly ran up to him, avoiding an arrow that was going for her. However, the blonde nudist girl shouted in pain as another arrow hit her in the left leg, with the goblin that shot her letting out a triumphant noise.

Despite the pain, Haara quickly removes the arrow and goes toward the goblin attacking Rance. Upon reaching that goblin, she thrust her spear at it.

Haara moves toward one of the melee goblins.
Spear: d20(12)+5: 17 (Pass). Damage: 1d6(3)+3: 6 piercing damage.

The thrust went through the goblin, who gasped as it struck through the vital area, causing him to cough in pain and giving Rance some breathing space. Meanwhile, Alvina quickly recovers her bearings before quickly opening fire at the other goblin attacking Rance.

Longbow: d20(18)+6: 24 (Hit). Damage: 1d8(3)+4: 7. That goblin is dead.

The arrow strikes true, punching through the head and killing the green skin instantly. The rest of the goblins, realizing the danger, intensifies their attack on the party.

Scimitar vs Haara: d20(13)+4: 17 (Hit). Damage: 1d6(5)+2: 7 slashing damage.
Haara has 0/10 HP remaining.
She is unconscious.
Shortbow vs Alvina: d20(5)+4: 9 (Miss).
Shortbow vs Rance: d20(11)+4: 15 (Hit). Damage: 1d6(6)+2: 8 piercing damage.
Rance has 4/12 HP remaining.

One of the bow-wielding goblins aimed at Alvina and fired an arrow. However, Alvina tilted her head and let the arrow sail past her. The same can't be said about Rance, who’d gotten an arrow to the neck by a different goblin. The brunette grunted in pain as he pulled the arrow out, unbothered by the problem from pulling it out.

But in doing so, he wasted his precious time to help out Haara.

The goblin, taking advantage of the distraction, quickly struck the nude girl before she could react, cleanly slicing the girl as she gasped for air before falling to the ground. The group could hear Spectra yelling Haara's name in shock and concern.

“Why you…”

Longsword: d20(6)+5: 11 (Miss).
Eldritch Blast: d20(9)+5: 14 (Miss).
Death Throw: d20: 6 (Fail). Heroic Inspiration: d109+1: 10 Heal. Unarmed Strike: d20(15)+5: 20 (Hit). Damage: 1d6(5)+3: 8 bludgeon damage. Fucking KOed.
Haara has 10/10 HP remaining.
Firebolt: d20(8)+4: 12 (Miss).
Longbow: d20(4)+6: 10 (Miss).

In his anger, the boy's swing is sluggish, allowing the equally sluggish goblin to dodge easily. And a beam of crackling energy, a bolt of flame, and an arrow that all had somehow missed the same goblin along with the girls’ scream of frustration show their same sentiment about it. The goblin laughed at the group’s failure to hit him, finding it comical.

However, that goblin didn't notice that the blonde girl he struck down slowly got up, rage filled her face as she faced the goblin.

“Oi.” Haara called out to the goblin, who stopped his laughing and slowly turned to face her.

She then slugged the goblin in the face, knocking him out instantly.

The remaining two goblins quickly readied their bows to shoot at them.

Shortbow vs Rance: d20(8)+4: 12 (Miss).
Shortbow vs Haara: d20(3)+4: 7 (Miss).

Both of them fire at their respective target, only for Rance to use his sword to deflect while Haara merely caught the arrow casually, then she let it drop to the ground. And everyone, as a group, targets the goblins.

Rance: Move to attack a goblin.
Longsword: d20(11)+5: 16 (Hit). Damage: 1d8(2)+3: 5 slashing damage.
Eldritch Blast: d20(13)+5: 18 (Hit). Damage: 1d10: 6 Force Damage. Goblin down!

Rance quickly ran up to the goblin that shot him with an arrow, swinging his sword down and slicing through the goblin's armor. The boy then quickly moves away, allowing a beam of energy – courtesy of Spectra – to hit the goblin. It goes through the head, leaving nothing behind it as the goblin falls down.

The last goblin, seeing how his companions died, quickly cut his losses and fled while the going was good.

Haara was about to chase after the goblin, but the sudden spike of pain from the wound she suffered caused her to drop down to her knee. The group quickly went toward Haara, who clutched her still open wound while she attempted to stand up.

“D-damn it, nearly beaten by a goblin of all things.” Both Rance and Alvina quickly picked her up, after the elf used her cape to bandage the wounds without hesitation. The two took her to the wagon, with Fiora and Spectra not far behind.

“Are you going to be okay?”

“I'll be fine Spectra. Just needing some rest, that's all.” Haara reassured the changeling, who's concerned for the blonde girl's well being. Alvina and Fiora started to help Haara with her wound, while Rance grabbed Spectra.

“Come on, we should go and check on that goblin that Haara punched.” Rance then lifted the changeling up in a bridal carry, which left her a blushing mess, and climbed down the wagon. Spectra tried to stammer words to the brunette, but couldn't let out any noise that isn't gibberish.

Then Spectra noticed that Rance was bleeding from the neck. And changeling freaked out again at that, and that's when Rance had finally remembered that he got shot in the neck by those damn goblins.

Rance’s Second Wind: d10(6)+1: 7 HP healed.

A few minutes later, after Rance and Haara are bandaged properly using the former’s cape (to his chagrin), the group gathered before a goblin as the creature stirred up. The goblin, realized what happened and where he is now, started to speak his native language. Alvina’s eye twitched at whatever the goblin said, more likely a series of insults directed at the party.

Finally, Alvina shouted at the goblin in his language, which caught him off-guard as the blonde elf grabbed hold of him. She seemed pretty pissed, as Alvina spoke to him in the goblin’s language rather than common.

Intimidate Check: d20(16)+1: 17 (Pass).

And it seemed to be very effective, as the goblin looked pretty terrified at whatever Alvina told him. In fact, the goblin quickly spoke to her in terror, before he quickly nodded after the blonde elf said something to him. Finally, Alvina plopped the goblin down before she turned to face the party.

“He's now willing to cooperate with us. And the goblin can understand and speak in our language.” She told the group before the elf went back to the wagon, and the boy saw that she mumbled something in elven language.

“Now then.” As he decided that it isn't his place to know what the goblin said that pissed her off, Rance grabbed the goblin and lifted him up. “Tell me, what happened to the riders of these two dead horses?”

“T-took them to our lair we did! King Grol told boss Klarg to bring dwarfy man Gundren to him alive!” Rance and Haara turned and stared at each other in concern.

“Who is Klarg and King Grol?” The monk asked, her eyes narrowed at the goblin.

“K-Klarg is bugbear! Klarg is Kruk’s boss! King Grol is who Kruk's boss answers to! Grol is the Cragmaw tribe chief!” The goblin answered, panic set on his face. “The king lives in a castle on Neverwinter Wood! Just n-northeast of our hideout!”

“Hideout? What hideout?”

“It's northwest from here! Kruk can lead you there!”

The group stared at each other and contemplated whether or not they should go to the goblins hideout. Finally, after a few seconds of silence, Rance stared back at the goblin.

“Take us there.”

A minute later, the goblin guides the party of five toward where the hideout is, with Haara leading the front to scout and Rance followed behind, then Fiora and Spectra, and finally Alvina on the rear. The brunette is glad, as he had the opportunity to see the monk’s cute butt swaying around. Not that he had any problem with the rest, as the boy would gladly stare at their butt as well.

“There are traps along the way, made to thwart pursuers.” The goblin told the party, making certain that the group are keeping his pace. “Snare and Pit, ten minutes each. But Kruk is smart, Kruk knows the safe way around it!”

“Do we need to worry about any wildlife around here?”

“No, no. No predator tried to ambush many of us. Not that dumb.” The goblin named Kruk answered Rance’s question, to which the boy then spoke to the group.

“Okay, we'll keep this pace till we're a mile away. Then, we will have to slow our pace down. Long enough for any of us to try and sneak around.” Rance told everyone as the group continued to jog toward where the goblin is guiding them. “Haara, Alvina, make sure to scout ahead when we arrive, okay?”

“Okay, just don't get too impatient about this, alright!” Haara said, staying behind the goblin so as to know where a trap could be.

After about an hour of jogging, then almost half an hour of slow walking to catch their breath, the party nearly arrived at their destination.

Following the goblins’ trail, the party come across a large cave in a hillside five miles from the scene of the ambush. A shallow stream flows out of the cave mouth, which is screened by dense briar thickets. A narrow dry path leads into the cave on the right-hand side of the stream.

“This is as far as Kruk can take you. Kruk stay here for now.” The goblin said before he went to sit on the ground next to the tree. “Please don't kill Kruk.”

“That'll depend on whatever or not you plan on stabbing us in the back.” Alvina responded, then she turned to the group. “Okay you three, don't make any noise while we're gone. And especially don't have sex while we're near an enemy territory, got it?”

Rance shrugged in response, before the boy sat down and pulled out a deck of cards. “Go ahead then, we'll be playing a game of card.”

The girls stared at the boy with a deadpan expression.

“Let's just go Alvina.” Haara said, before both the skyclad monk and the elf went to scout ahead.

Haara Stealth: d20(8)+5: 13 (Pass)
Alvina Stealth: d20(3, heroic inspiration 8)+6: 14 (Pass)

The two girls quietly crossed the river, wading slowly through the water and then climbed up. On the east side of the stream flowing from the cave mouth, a small area in the briar thickets has been hollowed out to form a lookout post or blind. Wooden planks flatten out the briars and provide room for guards to lie hidden and watch the area—including a pair of goblins lurking there right now!

Alvina quickly pulled out her bow, as Haara had her spear on hand already beforehand. The two stared at each other and nodded, before the monk went to sneak up on one of them, while the elf quietly cast Hunter Mark on the other.

Alvina: Hunter's Mark Cast.

Soon after, the elf pulled her bow and waited for Haara to sneak behind the goblins. Said monk had gone around the briars and arrived behind the goblins, her spear hoist to attack the goblins.

As soon as Haara is in position, Alvina spring the ambush on the goblin.

Longbow: d20(9, advantage 10)+6: 16 (Hit). Damage d8(4)+4 & d6: 8 piercing & 6 force damage.
Spear: d20(6, advantage 19)+5: 24 (Hit). Damage: d6(5)+3: 8 piercing damage.

Two goblins are easily slain, the first with the arrow through the head and the second having a spear pierced his heart. Both creatures fell down without so much of a noise, the two girls smiled at each other and gave a high five before moving on. They reached the cave entrance, only for Haara to see that the place is dark and could not see what's in there. The monk swore, mentally glad to have Alvina with her.

“Alright, let's see what's in there…” Haara mumbled as the two went inside, with Alvina acting as a guide.

Haara Stealth: d20(11)+5: 16 (?)
Alvina Stealth: d20(18)+6: 24 (?)

A few minutes later, Rance is on his hands and knees as Spectra celebrates after she won against the brunette in a game of card. Fiora watches, her interest peaked while Kruk stared at the boy with confusion.

“... Kruk thinks browny is overreacting.” After he said it, the goblin noticed both Alvina and Haara coming back. “Look, look! Elf lady and nude lady are back!”

At that, Rance quickly stored the cards into his inventory. Then he stood up just as the two blonde girls reached the rest of the party. “Did you find anything?”

“Yeah, several points of interest in fact.” Haara said as she made sure everyone listened, except for Kruk, as the goblin already knew about it. “Right at the entrance, there's a pack of three wolves chained up on a kennel. In that kennel, there's a narrow passage on the eastern part that leads to a natural chimney. It led us straight to where the bugbear resides.”

“That was quick.” Rance muttered quietly to himself, before Alvina continued where Haara left off.

“Beside that, there are steps to climb up, with a bridge above the stream. A goblin is guarding that bridge, but we couldn't get to him due to three goblins guarding the top area after the steps.” She said, then Rance stared at the two to hear anything important.

“For the record, we believed Sildar is on the other side of the bridge. We just need to get across the goblins.” Haara spoke, with Rance thinking over how to best handle the situation.

“Alright, we should just take a stealth approach. We'll deal with the goblins on the bridge.” Rance told the group, with Fiora about to pull out a lamp. “No light.”

Fiora pouted as she put away the lamp.

“Smart choice humans, we goblins don't need light. So we'll know of an intruder from it.” Kruk spoke with the group giving him a deadpan stare in response. “Kruk wishes to accompany you, but Kruk understands you people won't.”

“You're damn right about that.” Alvina said as she glared at the goblin, obviously still angry at whatever Kruk said beforehand. Then the elf spoke in the goblin language, with Kruk nod rapidly, his face looking scared at whatever she said.

“Good, now we shall be going.” Alvina then headed toward the cave. “I want people who can't see in the dark to grab hold of me, okay?”

“Yeah, yeah.” Rance then grabs the elf’s hand.

“B-but no hand holding!”

“I'm not gonna lock my fingers with yours!” As Rance let out an outburst, Spectra silently casted Mage Armor on herself, to ensure that she won't get harmed by the goblins.

Cragmaw Hideout

Just inside the cave mouth, a few uneven stone steps lead up to a small, dank chamber on the east side of the passage. The cave narrows to a steep fissure at the far end, and is filled with the stench of animals. As Haara just said, three wolves are chained up just inside the opening. Each wolf’s chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of a stalagmite.

The wolves gave the party a look, considering whether or not they're a threat to them.

Alvina Animal Handling: d20(12)+3: 15 (Pass).

Thankfully, Alvina quickly managed to calm down the wolves enough to consider the party as friendly. With allowing the party to continue through the passage. The main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream.

In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, Alvina and Fiora can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor.

“There's the goblin up there.” Alvina said as she pointed at the bridge, not that the three ever noticed it due to how dark it is.

“Take the shot, I would rather not let them spot us.” At Rance's command, Alvina pulled out her bow and aimed at the goblin on the bridge.

Longbow: d20(10)+6: 16 (Hit). Damage: d8(8)+4: 12.
Party gain 10 XP
135/300 XP

As expected of an elf, her shot aimed true and hit the goblin square in the head, killing him instantly as he fell down on the ground.

“Got him. Follow me now.” She said, guiding the group forward and up the steps. The stream passage continues up beyond another set of uneven steps ahead, bending eastward as it goes. A waterfall sounds out from a larger cavern somewhere ahead of them. A rickety bridge spans the passage, connecting two tunnels that are 20 feet above the stream. The group continued on and climbed up the step, with the group except Fiora holding each other's hands so as to not get lost, till they finally reached a cavern.

This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear.

Ahead of them three goblins guard the area, yet haven't noticed that the goblin that guarded the bridge had died. Alvina motioned Rance at the three with her hand, which alerted Rance as to where the goblins were.

“Alright, attack them while they do not see us.” At his order, Alvina pulled her bow out and aimed at one goblin, while Fiora pointed her hand at another goblin.

Longbow: d20(6)+6: 12 (Miss).
Firebolt: d20(17)+4: 21 (Hit). Damage: d10: 2 fire damage.

Three goblins are surprised!

Rance heard Alvina's grunt of frustration that alerted him that she missed the shot somehow. But Fiora’s bolt of fire had hit the goblin, causing him to burn and illuminate the area as the creature screamed in pain while the others were frightened by the sudden fire.

Everyone readied themselves for a fight.

Surprise Round!

Rance: d20(8)+1: 9
Alvina: d20(9)+4: 13
Haara: d20(18)+3: 21
Fiora: d20(19)+3: 22
Spectra: d20(18)+3: 21

Initiative Order: Fiora > Haara > Spectra > Alvina > Rance

Not letting up, Fiora quickly casted magic missile on one of the goblins that isn't on fire.

Magic Missile: 3d4+1: 2, 4, 5 Force damage.

All three darts hit the goblin, with the last missile having enough force to launch him backward, landed on a stalagmites that broke his neck. Haara quickly dashed toward the other unburned goblin to thrust her spear at him as Spectra aimed at the burned goblin and fired an eldritch blast at him.

Haara dashed 15 feet at one of the goblins.
Spear: d20(13)+5: 18 (Hit). Damage: d6(6)+3: 9 piercing damage.
Eldritch Blast: d20(8)+5: 13 (Missed).

Haara's spear pierced through the goblin's head, killing him instantly while Spectra's shot missed the goblin, forcing Alvina to aim her bow at the goblin and fire.

Longbow: d20(7)+6: 13 (Miss).

But like before, the shot missed the target and caused Rance to run forward and swing his sword to kill him quickly.

Longsword: d20(4, heroic inspiration 8)+5: 13 (Miss).

Only the goblin to move in a panic, causing the boy to miss his attack and the boy sounded frustrated over it.

Goblin: d20(18, disadvantage 1)+2: 3.

Initiative Order: Fiora > Haara > Spectra > Rance > Goblin

Fiora quickly casted the firebolt as she aimed at the goblin to kill him quickly.

Firebolt: d20(15)+4: 19 (Hit). Damage: d10: 2 fire damage.

The bolt hit, but it was not enough to kill the goblin, who continued to scream in pain. Rance was mentally glad that the waterfall made it so that the goblin’s scream was drowned out by the waterfall, while Haara rushed toward the goblin and thrust her spear once more.

Spear: d20(5)+5: 10 (Miss)
Eldritch Blast: d20(17)+5: 22 (Hit). Damage: d10: 1 Force damage.
Longsword: d20(11)+5: 16 (Hit): Damage: d10(10)+3: 13 slashing damage.

All hostile slain! Each character gains 30 XP!

The goblin ducked to dodge the spear that was aimed at his head, and caused Haara to make a noise of frustration at that. Only for the goblin to get hit by a beam of energy courtesy of Spectra, weak the blow may be. But it does give Rance enough to slice the goblin’s head off easily, even through bone.

The headless goblin slumped down to the ground while his head rolled, not that the group cared as the flame flickered and died. Alvina and Fiora made sure to regroup the party and discuss which way to go now.

“So… bugbear killing or hostage rescues?” Rance questioned the group as they thought it out.

“I’m up for striking down the bugbear. That way, the goblins wouldn't alert their boss when he's dead.” Fiora spoke first, only for Alvina to shake her head in response.

“Sildar is still unaccounted for. We need to save him first before any of us could do away with the bugbear.” Alvina argued, and Spectra agreed with the elf. Both Rance and Haara thought about this, the two not sure what to pick between it. Finally, Haara decided to side with those who wish to save Sildar, to Fiora's annoyance.

So the party went and crossed the bridge and followed the path toward another cave, where they could see some light. This large cave is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins.

From there, Fiora could see the campfire – which provided the cave with dim light – tended by five goblins. The upper ledge on the south is where a sixth goblin watched over something, more likely where Sildar was now. The catgirl relayed what she saw to Rance using sign language, to which the boy nodded and turned to Haara, using his hands to communicate instead of his mouth.

Sneak up and rescue Sildar, we'll draw the goblin's attention to us.

Haara nodded and quickly went to hide.

As soon as she did, Rance turned toward Spectra, who looked confused over what they're doing. “We'll lure the goblins away from Sildar. Can't let them use him as a hostage.” Rance whispered to her, who let out an understanding “oh” in response. “You three retreat near the bridge, we'll pelt them with ranged assault.”

At that, the three girls quickly retreated, but not before Fiora gave him a lamp that was then lit by her magic. After he gave her thanks, Rance focused back on the goblins that surrounded the campfire.

Stealth: d20(15)+5: 20 (Pass).

Who are thankfully unaware that Haara had snuck up on them.

Nodding to himself, Rance sheathed his sword and pulled out his bow… before he walked forward and let himself be seen by the goblins. The goblins let out a noise upon seeing him, with the leading goblin making a noise as he pointed at the boy. The boy pretended to be surprised to see this many goblins before Rance bolted.

Rance Initiative: d20(14)+1: 15
Haara Initiative: d20(16)+3: 19
Goblins Initiative: d20(5)+2: 7

Haara attempted to climb on an escarpment to the south!
Climb: d20(9)+1: 10 (Pass). Stealth Check: d20(17)+5: 22 (Pass).

Rance dashed 9 squares to the bridge.
Goblin Leader walked 6 squares to the east.
Goblins run 6 squares to chase after them.

As soon as the goblins focused on Rance, Haara quickly climbed up the ledge just as the goblins started to chase after the boy. But the goblin leader did not follow them; he instead went toward east, where she could see that Sildar is bound there.

Haara moves to square behind the goblin leader.
Spear: d20(20)+5: 25 (Critical Hit!). Damage: 2d8(4, 4)+3: 11 piercing damage. Critical Check: d100: 39.
Bonus Unarmed Strike: d20(6)+5: 11 (Miss).

Quickly moving behind the goblin, she used both of her hands to thrust her spear at him and easily pierced through armor and his heart. The goblin gasped in surprise as the nude monk pulled the spear out of the goblin and threw a backhanded punch at him. But the leader of the goblin ducked and rolled to avoid the attack, before he turned to face Haara…

And then he stared at her with a dumbfounded expression.

“Where's your clothes?”

Spectra Initiative: d20(13)+3: 16
Fiora Initiative: d20(19)+3: 22
Alvina Initiative: d20(12)+4: 16

Initiative Order: Fiora > Haara > Alvina > Spectra > Rance > Goblin Leader > Goblins

Fiora, Rance, Alvina and Spectra readied an attack against goblins.

Goblins move 3 square forwards.

Fire Bolt: d20(5)+4: 9 (Miss).
Longbow: d20(19)+6: 25 (Hit). Damage: d8(5)+4: 9 piercing damage. 4/5.
Eldritch Blast: d20(1)+6: 1 (Critical Miss). Fumble Check: d100: 8.
Goblins will gain advantage against Spectra.
Longbow: d20(15)+3: 18 (Hit). Damage: d8(1)+1: 2 piercing damage.

Scimitar: d20(1)+4: 1 (Critical Miss). Fumble Check: d100: 9.
Haara will gain advantage on her next attack.

“Bah! Whatever, have at it!” The goblin then swung his sword at her, only for Haraa to step away from him and caused the goblin leader to lose his footing. “W-whoaaa!”

Haara saw her chance and struck at the goblin leader.

Fiora cast Color Spray!
Goblins Constitution Save: d20: 12 (Pass)

Spear: d20(13, advantage 12)+5: 18 (Hit). Damage: d6(5)+3: 8.

Haara's next thrust pierced through the goblin's eye, and it killed him instantly as he slumped his body down. She pulled her spear out and let the corpse fall down to the ground. The nude monk then turned to Sildar, who gawked at her due to the blonde girl being nude, and moved to him so as to remove the rope on him.

“Are you well enough to walk?” She questioned Sildar, who snapped out of it and weakly stood up to answer her question with a word. “Good, stay put. I'm gonna help out my companion.” Haara then went back to where her companions were fighting the goblins.

Longbow: d20(6)+6: 12 (Miss).

The arrow flew, yet the goblin raised his shield and blocked it before it could reach him. Alvina cursed in elven tongue as Spectra, distracted by something, quickly regained her focus and casted another Eldritch Blast on one of the goblins.

Eldritch Blast: d20(16)+5: 21 (Hit). Damage: d10: 2 Force Damage.

Rance switches his longbow for a Halberd.
Halberd: d20(4, Heroic Inspiration 12)+5: 17 (Hit). Damage: d10(9)+3: 12 slashing damage. (3/5)
Cleave!
Halberd: d20(15)+5: 20 (Hit). Damage: d10: 2 slashing damage.

The blast hit the goblin, stunned him long enough for Rance to switch to a halberd and swung it to a group of goblins. The goblin that was hit by Spectra's spell got cleaved – shield included – in twain by the boy's attack, and grazed the other goblin behind. That's when the three remaining goblins started their attack, two on the rear aimed with their bow while the goblin on the front charged forward.

Scimitar vs Rance: d20(16)+4: 20 (Hit). Damage: d6(2)+2: 4 slashing damage.
Shortbow vs Spectra: d20(5)+4: 9 (Miss).
Shortbow vs Fiora: d20(19)+4: 23 (Hit). Damage: d6(1)+2: 3 piercing damage.

Too slow to react, the goblin struck Rance at the unarmed section of his body while two arrows flew past him. He heard Fiora yelp in pain as Spectra yelled in fright, as the arrow flew by Spectra inches away from the cheek, while the other arrow was lodged onto her belly after piercing through the mage armor.

Initiative Order: Fiora > Haara > Alvina > Spectra > Rance > Goblins

Fire Bolt: d20(20)+4: 20 (Critical Hit!). Damage: 2d10: 19 Fire damage. (2/5). Critical Spell Check: d100: 14.
Fiora can disengage… despite being far from the goblin’s melee range anyway.

Haara reached the party after jogging 6 squares to the group.
Spear: d20(19)+5: 24 (Hit). Damage: d6(1)+3: 4 piercing damage. Bonus Unarmed Strike: d20(16)+5: 21 (Hit). Damage: d6(2)+3: 5 bludgeon damage. 1 goblin remains.

Longbow: d20(7)+6: 13 (Hit). Damage: d8(6)+4: 10 piercing damage.

Angry at the shot, Fiora tried to aim at the goblin that shot her and fired a firebolt. But the bolt of flame became larger than normal and hit the goblin on the front before he could react. The bolt straight up evaporated him upon contact, leaving nothing behind. Frightened, the goblins took a step back from how the catgirl killed their brother, and then suddenly a spear pierced through one of them from the back.

The other goblin turned to see a blonde girl quickly punch his sibling by the back of his neck. He heard a sickening crunch and his brother fell to the ground, his neck broken by the blow. Before the goblin could attempt to avenge him, an arrow lodged into his head from Alvina's bow. The goblin fell down to his knee and slumped down, his life expired before his knee touched the ground.

All party members gained 60 XP each.
195/300 XP.

Rance and Alvina put their weapon back to their inventory, and then they took arrows from the quivers belonging to the now dead goblins. The group now went back to the den, where Sildar limped to the campfire and saw them. Once he saw them, the kinda elderly man gawked once more, this time upon the sight of two other girls on nude.

“... I have a cursed amulet that prevents me from wearing any clothing.” Spectra shyly told Sildar, but didn't bother to cover her body. Fiora had no care for the man’s opinion over her state of undress, and Haara had an understanding look on the kindly man.

“Skyclad monk.” The blonde monk told the old man, just as Rance approached Sildar.

“Just ignore the three. You'll get used to it.” Sildar simply sighed in response.

“Either way, thanks for saving me.” He then laid on the ground while everyone else did the same. “I take it you want to know what happened?”

“I already know that a goblin king named Grol is the one who waylay you and Gundren. And took the map to his castle.” Rance told Sildar, who looked surprised at the boy's knowledge. “We learned it from a goblin we captured along the way.”

“Ah, of course. I didn't think of that.” Sildar looked understanding about how the group knew. “But there's some information that you ought to know regarding their actions.”

“What do you mean?” Haara asked, her face filled with worry about what Sildar was gonna say.

“I heard from those goblins that they were ordered by someone called Black Spider to bring Gundren to him, along with the map itself.” The group looked at each other and checked to see if any of them actually knew this Black Spider. But upon noticing their unfamiliar look on each other, the group turned back to Sildar. “I don't know who or what Black Spider is, nor of the whereabouts of the castle. But if the goblin you interrogated knows where it is, we can use them to guide us there.”

“So all we have to do is find the castle and Gundren sound simple enough.” Fiora spoke as she nodded to herself, the priority had been set for them. “But I had to wonder, what does this Black Spider want with Gundren and the map?” The catgirl asked, her curiosity being infectious to the party.

“It may be that the Black Spider somehow knew of the Wave Echo Cave.” At the group's confusion, Sildar then explained the group about what it is.

More than five hundred years ago, clans of dwarves and gnomes made an agreement known as the Phandelver’s Pact, by which they would share a rich mine in a wondrous cavern known as Wave Echo Cave. In addition to its mineral wealth, the mine contained great magical power. Human spellcasters allied themselves with the dwarves and gnomes to channel and bind that energy into a great forge, where magic items could be crafted. Times were good, and the nearby human town of Phandalin prospered as well. But then disaster struck when orcs swept through the North and laid waste to all in their path.

A powerful force of orcs reinforced by evil mercenary wizards attacked Wave Echo Cave to seize its riches and magic treasures. Human wizards fought alongside their dwarf and gnome allies to defend the Forge of Spells, and the ensuing spell battle destroyed much of the cavern. Few survived the cave-ins and tremors, and the location of Wave Echo Cave was lost.

“And now not only Gundren but also this Black Spider knows where it is.” Rance said, his expression unreadable. “If this Black Spider is a bandit lord and got their hand on the mine…”

“They'll have full control of Phandalin.” Haara finished, her face turned grim at the idea itself.

“Well, what are we waiting for?” Fiora said as she stood up from the ground. “We're not gonna allow this Black Spider to get their hands on it.”

“Wait, may I ask for a request or two?” Sildar suddenly asked, with Rance responding with a nod as the group stood up. “I still intend on going to Phandalin. So I would appreciate it if you could escort me there. Don't worry, I'll reward you with gold when we get there.”

“Sure. We could take you there.” Rance responded with a shrug before he continued. “But would you mind if we rest and then clear the cave of any remaining goblins?”

“Go ahead, I would like their raid to end after all.” At his word, Rance and his party went to make a short rest by the camp. Soon, the party would go and take care of the bugbear.

One Hour later…

Rance Hit Dice: d10(10)+2: 12 HP restored.

Fiora Hit Dice: d6(3)+2: 5 HP restored.

Rance used two rations with one being given to Sildar, Alvina used two rations with one being given to Spectra, Haara and Fiora each used a ration.

With the lantern still on his hip, Rance walked beside Haara, who led the group forward to the bugbear’s lair. This time, Rance could see the way the blonde haired monk’s bare breasts jiggled with each step she took. Doesn't help that Rance held her waist with one arm so that he could focus on the view to enjoy. Haara, for her part, was unbothered by the way Rance stared at her body. She long since used to the way people stare at her body whenever she's out on a job.

The party had crossed the bridge and continued to move east, toward the direction they never went. Obviously, that's where the bugbear would've been by now, utterly oblivious to what happened to the rest.

“Wait, it would be better to ambush the bugbear before he could have the advantage.” Haara stopped the party, the group silently agreed with her. “So we should have both Rance and Alvina to climb up and fire at them from the chimney.”

“Huh, good idea actually. Let's go ahead with that.” Rance then quickly jogged to the step to go downstairs, while the blonde elf gave Haara a noise of agreement and followed after the boy.

As they saw them off, the three nude girls quickly made their way to the bugbear's lair and waited for the two to ambush him.

On Rance and Alvina, the two quickly made their way to the kennel, where the boy petted the three wolves before the duo went toward the Fissure and climbed up the chimney.

Strength Check: 2d20(15, 6)+3: 18, 9 (Pass, Fail).

Strength Check: 2d20(19, 5)+1: 20, 6 (Pass, Fail).

The trio of wolves watched as Rance and Alvina climbed up. The two reached halfway up before they nearly slipped, the two held on for dear life before they managed to catch themselves from fall.

“Okay, that was careless of me.” Rance grunted as he started to climb again. “Next time, remind me to learn how to climb properly.”

“Agree.” The elf grunted back and followed Rance behind.

Rance Strength: d20(6)+3: 9 (Fail).

Alvina Strength: d20(10)+1: 11 (Pass).

But despite Rance having a better grip than Alvina, the boy lost his footing and forced him to hold his grip again as Alvina reached the top first. The elf crouched down and stared down at the boy with a smug look on her face.

“My my, and you said I'm fragile and weak. Yet here I am on top of you.” Alvina said with a haughty tone and showed the fame elven arrogance to the brunette. Not that it's the first time this had happened to him, as Rance knew just what he needed to handle that.

Helped that she only displayed that when Alvina was in that sort of mood.

“I swear, when we get to Phandalin, I'll…” Rance then started to climb up again to get to Alvina.

Strength: d20(11)+3: 14 (Pass).

With a little more effort from himself, Rance climbed up to the top and moved past Alvina as he pulled his bow out. Alvina did the same as well, still showing her smug smile behind Rance's back.

Sacks and crates of looted provisions are piled up in the south end of this large cave. To the west, the floor slopes toward a narrow opening that descends into darkness. A larger opening leads north down a set of natural stone steps, the roar of falling water echoing from beyond. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire smolder.

Both Rance and Alvina quickly hide behind a stalagmites, where they then peeked in the cave together. There, two goblins patrolled the place with a mangy wolf laid on the ground next to the fireplace. But the real prize is a furry goblin, easily as large as a human, checked his ill gotten gain and thus too distracted to notice anything amiss.

Both Rance and Alvina stared and then nodded to each other, before the elf silently cast Hunter's Mark on the bugbear. Once she finished, the two aimed their bow at the bugbear, with the intention of slaying him in one fell swoop.

Rance Stealth: d20(18)+3: 21 (Pass)

Alvina Stealth: d20(19)+6: 25 (Pass)

Both Rance and Alvina automatically hit Klarg the Bugbear!

Rance Damage: d8+1: 4 piercing damage.

“Gah!” Klarg yelled in pain as the goblins jumped in surprise and turned to face their boss. “Who shot Klarg!? Klarg will have them–!”

“Now!” Haara yelled as she ran into the cave, her spear thrown to Klarg.

Haara runs 3 squares and throws her spear at Klarg.
Spear: d20(14)+5: 19 (Hit). Damage: d6(4)+3: 7 piercing damage.

Her spear pierced through the bugbear's armor and caused him to let out a roar of pain from the wound. As he tried to recover himself from it, Alvina took her chance and aimed at the bugbear with her bow.

But right before she'll release the arrow, Alvina suddenly hears the sound of an arrow being released.

Shortbow: d20(19)+4: 23 (Hit). Damage: d6(3)+4: 7 piercing damage.
Klarg has died and the Hunter's Mark is transferred to a wolf.

An arrow shot from the north and flew true, and the bugbear went silent as the arrow pierce through the head. Klarg then fell down to the ground, dead for all to see.

Both Alvina and Rance looked confused as well as Haara, but the blonde elf quickly recovered before she changed her aim at the wolf and released her arrow.

Longbow: d20(10)+6: 16 (Hit). Damage: d8(7)+4+d6: 11 piercing damage and 6 force damage.
The wolf fucking died.

Eldritch Blast: d20(18)+5: 23 (Hit). Damage: d10: 10 force damage.
One goblin died.

Fire Bolt: d20(14)+4: 18 (Hit). Damage: d10: 4 fire damage.

The mangy wolf’s head exploded upon impact and killed the creature instantly. And before the two remaining goblins could've composed themselves, one goblin got his chest blown out while the other ended up being on fire. The burned goblin let out a series of words in his native language, while Rance – after he switched his bow for his longsword – quickly ran up to the goblin and swung his sword down two-handed.

Rance spent his bonus action to switch his ranged weapon to longsword.
Rance runs 4 squares to a goblin.
Longsword: d20(15)+5: 20 (Hit). Damage: d10(6)+3: 9 slashing damage.

All hostile slain.

The blood splattered onto the ground as the last of the goblins fell down. Rance swung his sword to remove the blood off of it, before he then sheathed to his scabbard. The party gathered together, with both Rance and Alvina stared at the still confused look on the three nudist girls.

“So who shot?” The sole male asked the three, who all shook their heads and shrugged; the girls are just as lost as Rance and Alvina are. They turned toward the north, as it was where the mysterious arrow that ended the bugbear came from. “Okay, then Fiora and Haara should go and check on Sildar just to be safe. The rest of us should loot this cave…”

He then turned toward the crates of supplies on the south.

“... Some of it.”

An hour later, the party and Sildar reached their wagon, where the oxens were eating grass while the party went to the Cragmaw Hideout. Haara planned on getting back to the hideout to pick up all the crates that were inside, something that the group had agreed upon.

Still, there's one thing both Sildar and Alvina object on.

“I still disagree with bringing him with us.” Alvina said as she glared intensely at the goblin named Kruk, who simply stared back with a deadpan expression. “Goblins aren't someone that can be trusted.”

“Kruk is trustworthy. Kruk won't stab new friends.” The goblin said as he scratched the back of the ear that belonged to a wolf. “Kruk won't go into the town. Kruk would be killed by citizens.”

The other two wolves stared at the goblin with a judgemental look, as if they too didn't trust Kruk at all. Only the wolf that's been scratched by him doesn't have the goblin the same stare as the wolf’s siblings for obvious reasons.

“We need someone to guide us to Cragmaw Castle, and Kruk knows the way.” Rance answered, laid on his back with Haara as a lap pillow. “Either way, we'll need some rest first.”

“... Hate to say this, but I had to agree with him.” Haara reluctantly spoke, not sounding pleased about it as well. “We do need a guide to Cragmaw Castle after all.”

Even so, Alvina and Haara, along with Sildar who had stayed silent on the matter, still do not like to have a goblin among the group but they have stayed quiet on the matter for now.

Meanwhile, both Fiora and Spectra are riding the oxens to take them to Phandalin and have heard of the conversation behind them. The catgirl stayed silent, grumbling about not getting to spend time on sex with the boy, while Spectra was relieved that the ride was going to be mostly peaceful.

“Hey Fiora, wanna have sex?”

“DAMN IT RANCE!”

Explanation: This story is essentially a non-canon story to Haara Brightwater’s works, as it takes place in an entirely separate setting. All characters from there are mostly different. This is a D&D game where I play against myself as a sort of test, and it's my first time actually playing D&D. Please bear with this.

The rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, and the party of adventurers catch their first glimpse of Phandalin. The town consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings, some built on old fieldstone foundations. More old ruins—crumbling stone walls covered in ivy and briars—surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track, which widens into a muddy main street of sorts as it climbs toward a ruined manor house on a hillside at the east side of town.

As they approached, the party saw the children playing on the town green and townsfolk tending to chores or running errands at shops. Many people look up as the group approaches, but all return to their business as they go by.

From inside the wagon pulled by the oxens, Sildar seems much more at ease.

“My friends,” he says, “let us secure lodgings. I’m told the local inn is very quaint.”

“That would be for the best. As soon as we deliver the cargo, we'll hit the inn.” Rance says as he gets off the wagon, followed by Alvina, Sildar and Haara, who quickly cast the Disguise Self to make it seem like she's wearing clothes; the goblin and the wolves left once they're near the town. The boy turns to the wagon, where Spectra gets inside as soon as she catches a glimpse of the town. “Come on Spectra, can't you just put on a cloak?”

“I tried it once, and it didn't work.” Spectra says as she pokes her head out, her skin and hair change to match that of a human. “And you know I can't remove my necklace, no matter how I tried.”

Rance grumbles at that, while Fiora climbs out wearing a robe that is real. Though the catgirl dislikes wearing clothes at all, which Rance figures is her preference if it is not a cultural thing in her home.

“... What about being covered by my body?” Spectra gives Rance a deadpan stare in response. “It doesn't count as wearing, does it?”

“...”

A while later, everyone watches as Rance is putting out a fire that's burning his cape while shouting in an unknown language that none actually heard of before.

After Rance manage to douse the flame on his cape, both the boy and the elf – with a changeling in human form – visit the Barthen's Provision, where the owner give the three 10 gp each, with an additional 20 gp to divide between Fiora and Haara.

All party members received 10 gp.

“That reminds me.” Elmar says, trying not to stare at the nude girl. “Do you know what happened to Gundren? He was supposed to be here before you.”

“Yeah, he's been taken captive by goblins.” Rance says and the owner becomes saddened in response.

“Gods, he's been captured? The brothers are not gonna like it.” Coming out of his trance, the man stares at the boy. “I don't suppose you plan on saving him?”

“Of course I do. I'm not gonna leave with a dwarf tied by a goblin.”

“Ay, that's good. I wouldn't know what to say to his brothers if no one was going to bother to save Gundren.” Elmar says, looking relieved for the boy's decision to save the dwarf. “Well, if you want to buy any gears, I'm your man.”

“In that case… do you happen to have a dungeoneer’s pack?” The boy asks, with the owner quickly going to pick it up while telling him how much it would cost. “Deal!”

Rance bought the Dungeoneer's Pack for 12 gp!

As Rance pays the necessary cost to the owner, Alvina is taking a look around the shop for a moment, before she decides to hand the owner a jade statuette of a frog with tiny golden orbs for eyes.

“Hmm? Never seen this one before.” The owner picks up the statuette, small enough to fit the palm of the elf’s hand, and takes a look at it. “Hmm, I reckon that the price is at least 40 gp. You wish to sell it?”

Alvina nods.

“Well, then it's a deal.”

Alvina sold the statuette for 40 gp.
All party members gain 5 gp in total each.

“Say, if you have the time, could you three do something for me?” The three stare at the man with attentiveness. “See, we got a group of ruffians, calling themselves the Redbrand Ruffians, shaking down local business and flouting the town's authority.”

“So basically bandits.” Rance states, the tone lacking any question.

“You got that right, boy. If you got the mind of dealing with those bandits, think you can take care of them for the town?”

“I'll think about it. Probably as soon as we bring Gundren back.” The boy answers, with the man being glad about it. “In the meantime, I'll go find lodging to rest.”

Hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it. The same lion that Haara saw on the supply crates in fact. Seeing that it is the place she's looking for, Haara goes inside.

“What can I help you ma’am?” A human woman in her 30s asks, looking frustrated over something.

“I would like to talk to you about some missing goods.” Seeing that the woman became interested in what she has to say, the blonde monk continues. “Me and my companion had found a cave hideout filled with goblins. After we cleared the cave of goblins, there were many crates in a certain part of the cave bearing the same blue lion that this post has.”

“Truly? Where is this cave then?”

Haara gave the woman directions.

“Thank you, miss. I would like to reward you and your companion for finding our stolen goods.” The woman says, her face looks relieved at the news. The blonde monk girl lets out a thanks as the owner goes and returns to give her a bag full of coins. “We'll be having someone to go and pick them up.”

Party received 10 gp each!

“If you wish, I could help you out in bringing the goods here.” Haara offers the woman, who responds by shaking her head.

“I appreciate your offer, but my boys can take care of it. You should rest up a bit, I wager that you're tired after dealing with goblins and walking here.” The woman says, with Haara reluctantly agreeing with her.

“Well, I'll be going then.” The blonde girl then leaves the place.

In the center of town stands a large, newly built roadhouse of fieldstone and rough-hewn timbers. The common room is filled with locals nursing mugs of ale or cider, all of them eyeing the group with curiosity due to one of them being completely nude. One of them lets out a wolf whistle at the naked girl, who ignores them in favor of focusing on something else.

Approaching the desk, Rance talks with the inn owner for the party's stay.

“We would like to have a bed, and a meal for the six of us.” Rance says before he turns to count the number within the group, just as Haara enters the room with a bag in her hand. “Yeah, six of us.”

“There's only three rooms available, kind sir. The meal and lodging cost 8 silver coins for each one of you.” The inn owner tells the boy, who responds by giving him 4 golds and 8 silvers to him.

Rance spent 4 golds and 8 silvers to rest for the night.

Soon after, Sildar goes to his own room after thanking the boy for it, while Alvina goes to her own room and possibly waiting for another to join in. Not that it matters to Rance, who goes into his own room with Spectra who has to share with him.

As soon as the boy enters, he immediately starts to remove the breastplate off of him with the aid of Spectra. Soon after, the boy is down on his shirt and pants, only for him to strip himself off of those clothes. After leaving himself without any clothes (he wears no underwear), showing his muscles, Rance goes to the bed while Spectra is eyeing his body. Despite being a soldier once, Rance's body lacks any sort of scar on it, not even from his recent wounds against goblins.

Then again, Haara didn't seem to get any scar either.

Snapping out of her trance, Spectra notices that the boy is motioning her to his bed as soon as he lay on it. Sighing, the changeling approaches him as she shifts back to her natural form and climbs up the bed, where she rests atop of him. Without a word, Rance suddenly starts to pet her, causing Spectra to blush a little.

“That amulet sure is annoying huh?” Quietly, Spectra slowly nods in response. The girl leans forward to the boy's hand, liking the way he does so. “I'm sure we'll find someone who can remove it.”

“... Promise?”

“Yeah, it's a promise.” Rance says, causing Spectra to stare at him with an adorable look on her face. “Besides, you're my follower. It wouldn't do you good to be seen naked by anyone other than myself.”

The changeling pouts at him, which makes her even more adorable to him.

“Why do every guy I meet happen to be perverts?” Spectra mumbles to herself before she slowly embraces him. “... Thanks, for being nice to me.”

“Um, you're welcome?”

“... Ah, I guess I should do my job as your follower then?” Despite her words and the blush forming on the girl's face, Spectra does not look embarrassed in the slightest. Without hesitation, she lifts herself up to align Rance’s hyper weapon to her fold, moist with wetness. “After all, you pretty much put me into this.”

My Glorious Day play

Then she lowers herself, letting the hyper weapon impale her entrance quite easily. Spectra let out a lewd groan as the hyper weapon goes deep inside her.

“G-gods, it's bigger than I expected.” She says, mostly to herself than to Rance, before the changeling starts to move her body up and down, feeling the boy's hyper weapon going in and out of her. “Ye-yet it feels good~!”

She then moans as the changeling bounce on top of Rance, who got up in a sitting position. This allows Spectra to wrap her legs around the boy's waist while her arms are around his collarbones. Rance didn't need to do anything to her, the boy simply watches her bounces on his hyper weapon while moaning in pleasure.

“Ah~, I didn't think it'd feel this good~!” Spectra mews out, while Rance simply enjoys the show and the pleasure the changeling provides him with. The boy says nothing, simply making certain he doesn't fall as he watches Spectra's cute face becoming far more lewd by pleasure. Even so, Rance is able resist the urge to grunts by pleasure, because by gods she is tight.

“Yeah, I can see why you're expensive to buy as a follower. By Sharess, you're good.” Rance is able to say the words without grunting, not wanting to be seen as someone who's weak to pleasure. “Gods, this is worth all the coins I paid for you.”

“I… can show… you… more… than this…” Spectra says between her moans, leaning her while barely holding onto his shoulder, allowing Rance to see her swaying breasts. “A… lot… more than… thiiisss~.”

She lets out a moan at the last part as Rance starts to grope the mountains on her chest, playing with them while the changeling continues to bounce again and again. The boy uses his fingers to pinch her nipples, eliciting a louder moan than usual. As she bounces, the wet fluid slowly covers Rance's hyper weapon from her fold, making it slippery and easier for her to get the hyper weapon in and out of her.

“Oooh~, this feels good~! Already I'm–!” Her voice is cut off by the boy's hyper weapon reaching the entrance of her womb, causing Spectra to mewls out, trying to keep herself from cumming. “Oh Sune~, I'm gonna cum~!”

“M-me too Spectra, take it all!”

And then Rance suddenly thrust up into her deeper.

“AA–MMMMPH~!”

Rance, respecting people's privacy and quiet, cut off her moan by planting his lips on her’s. Meanwhile, his hyper weapon fires its missiles onto her hole, filling her inside with his seed. Despite being muffled by his kiss, Spectra still manages to let out a lewd moan as she closes her eyes and enjoys the sensation. Eventually, Rance separates himself from the changeling, who is now catching her breath.

“W-wow. I didn't… think it… would… be this… nice with you… Rance.” Spectra speaks in between her panting, face still flushes from pleasure. “... You're still hard, you know?”

“Gahaha, as if one time would be enough for me.” Rance speaks, letting out a laugh that sounds a bit egotistical. “What about you? You should be able to keep going, right?”

Spectra stares at the boy for a moment, before she lets out a soft smile at the boy.

Then, for the next few hours, the room is filled with the sounds of flesh pounding into another and moans of pleasure.

Rance spent 60 CP for the meal.

When morning arrived, Rance and his party had gone to the common room and started to have breakfast for themselves. Soon after, Sildar left to do his business within the town, leaving the party alone as the party were planning their assault on the Cragmaw Castle. However, Rance wishes to pray before Tymora for luck and good fortune, even though Rance isn't into religion.

You don't deny the existence of gods in a world where miracles happen, after all.

“Excuse me, good lady.” Rance calls out to a lady on the counter. “Mind if you could ask me if there's a shrine dedicated to Tymora?”

“Why, you must be new to this town. It's just across the street west from here.” The lady answers with amusement, pointing at the direction of the shrine. “Sister Garaele oversees the shrine.”

“Thank you ma’am!” Then Rance went to the inn entrance, and left the building. While the four girls decide to continue their conversation without him regarding Cragmaw Castle.

“Alright, so Kruk. He could guide us to the castle.” Haara says, her body being under an illusion that makes it seem like she's wearing clothes. “The problem is, we don't know anything else about the castle, how many defenders are out there and what other surprises there are.”

“Not helping matters is that Black Spider fellow. What are the chances that they would realize the hideout had been taken out?” The girls nod at Fiora's words in agreement as the catgirl continues, “So we have to get there quickly before the Black Spider suspects anything.”

“Yeah, I can agree to this.” Haara says, staring outdoors through the window. “More importantly than anything else, we should convince Rance to buy us a wagon and mules for ease of transportation.”

“Got any idea of where to find one?”

It's just as the lady said, the shrine is on the other side of the street west from the inn.

Of course it is there, the lady lives in this town! There's no reason for her to lie to him.

Rance makes his way to the Shrine of Luck, taking notes of the stone it is made of looking ancient. As he approaches the altar, Rance sees two men with grimy red cloaks harassing an elven girl.

“Come on, we know you got the coins. Give us the coins and you won't find this place becoming… trash.” One of them says, his hand on the handle of the shortsword. “It would be quite a shame if you would have to pay for the damage that the shrine suffered, only to not have money to pay, am I right?”

“To defile the shrine of Goddess Tymora is to bring misfortune upon you.” Says a young elven girl, wearing a robe worn by clerics, as she stares at the two miscreants with a subtle glare. “And as a servant of Tymora, I have no reason to give coins to common thugs. Especially since I lack anything of value.”

“Now, now.” The other guy quickly says, lifting his arm to prevent his comrade from acting rash on her. “We heard from our friends that you had been out of town for a few days before returning home injured. The only reason you would have gone out is that you were on an adventure. And as we know, it means you have some treasures with you.”

Rance slowly approaches the two without a sound as the first ruffian has calmed himself down and grabbed the elven cleric.

“So you either give us the money, or we will make certain that–!”

Then Rance pokes the guy by the shoulder.

“Wha–?”

Unarmed Strike: d20(16)+5: 21, hit! Rance inflicts 4 bludgeon damage on Ruffian A!

Ruffian A: 16 > 12

That's when the ruffian gets a slug in the face, courtesy of Rance's fist.

The ruffian grunt, grabbing his face where the blow hit as the cleric and the ruffian are surprised by what just happened. However, the ruffian quickly recovered his bearing as he unsheathed his shortsword.

“While you–!?”

Suddenly, the point of the brunette's longsword found itself within an inch away from the other ruffian's neck, with the boy giving him a cold look.

“Leave. Now.”

Intimidation Check: d20(3, advantage 16)+2: 18, pass.

As if to remind the ruffian, Rance pressed the blade to the ruffian's throat, as if telling him what's gonna happen should the ruffian insist on fighting the boy.

“... Tch. Come, mate. We'll be back later.” The ruffian says, sheathing his sword as the other holds his nose while glaring at Rance. “You have just made an enemy out of the Redbrand, boy.” After saying his piece, the two ruffians left the shrine.

The boy waited for them to be away from the shrine, before he nodded to himself and sheathed his sword. The boy silently muttered an insult toward the ruffian before he turned to face the cleric, who fixed her clothes up as she gave him a look of gratitude.

“I thank you, young lad. Here to make an offering to the goddess Tymora?” The boy nodded as he went to kneel before the altar, offering a single coin of silver to it, and pray to the goddess for good fortune.

Rance uses 1 silver for offering prayer.

“Well, I must be going now.”

“Ah wait good sir.” The elf stopped the boy, who turned toward her. “If it is not a problem, could you provide me with succor?”

“Huh?” Rance stared at the elf, his head tilted with curiosity as he fully turned his body to face her. “If it's from a cute girl like you, then I don't mind.” The cleric’s face became red at the boy calling her cute. “What do you need?”

The cleric let out a light cough before she explained to the boy.

“Several days ago, I had been asked by my superiors to persuade a banshee–” Rance's eyes turned wide at that. “–to answer a question regarding a spellbook belonging to a Mage named Bowgentle. I had traveled to the banshee's lair to search for her, to no avail.”

“And you wanted me to find her?” The elf nodded to him. “How am I supposed to convince her?”

“Ah, you don't need to be one to do so! Just an intermediary to bring her a suitable gift,” she then shows Rance a jewelled silver comb; “and persuades her to tell you what she knows about the spellbook.”

“Ah, I know someone who can. When me and my companions deal with a business regarding the goblins, we'll be going to where this lair is… where is it?”

“Conberry. I can mark it on the map for you.”

Quest Obtain: The Banshee's Bargain
Corberry added to the map.

Rance returned to the party, who had asked him about getting their own wagon and mules for transportation and inventory management. However, the boy pointed out that there's no wagon to buy, assuming they could find a stable in the town as well. The girls are forced to concede because of that, though Haara looked annoyed by the boy's being right about something.

Afterward, Rance told the party about the situation with the elf cleric, with the group having different reactions to it. With Haara and Alvina, they're both mixed about it, mostly because of the idea that they would have to negotiate with a banshee, while Fiora scoffed at the boy's decision to help a stranger.

And Spectra…

“If it's not a bother, I could help out in negotiating the banshee.” The disguised changeling offered, with the group except for Rance stared at her with concerns on their faces. “I'm experienced in socializing with people, I could use it to convince the banshee for a question.”

“I see…” Rance stared at her for a moment, before he nodded to himself and got up. “So what are we waiting for? We should go and see the Corberry first before the Cragmaw Castle.” The rest of the girls soon followed as they started to leave the inn.

But as they head back into the street, the party of five sees four armed ruffians waiting for them. All of them are humans wearing grimy red cloaks, their hands on their weapons as they watch you. Rance recognizes the two of them from earlier, one of them looking angry upon seeing him.

One of the ruffians spits on the ground. “You got some real balls thinking you could get away from assaulting my boys.”

“Assaulting? What did you do, Rance?” Haara asked the male brunette, her eyes narrowing at the ruffians.

“Oh, I saw a couple of them bothering the shrine priestess.” Rance casually said, not at all worried about what might be about to happen soon. “So out of the goodness of my heart, I decided to help them leave the shrine gently.”

“Gently my ass, you cunt!” The ruffian who Rance punched yelled at the brunette, but he ignored it as he seemed to ponder about something.

“What were they called again… Redballs?” There were slight twitches in his mouth, as if he was gonna smile for some reason.

“It's Redbrand!” The man who's leading the group yelled at the boy, unamused at Rance misnamed their organization. “We're here to make you pay. And seeing that you got some nice ladies, especially one without clothing…” At that, many men whistle at the disguise changeling, with some leering at Spectra, who looked uncomfortable as she mumbled “not again” to herself. “... My boys and I might take those women off of you.”

“Tch, of course it's those kinds of people.” Haara muttered to herself, her tone leaked with anger as she gripped her spear tightly.

“Oi! Both the elf lady and the nude girl are mine! I don't share things with others!” Rance said, almost yelling at the group. Haara stared at him with a disapproving look on her face, while Fiora had an unreadable expression on it. Alvina coughed for a moment as Spectra blushed at Rance's declaration.

“Yours? Guess that means we'll be taking what's yours then.” At that, the ruffians pulled out their shortswords, with the man who Rance punched looked very eager for a fight. “And we'll be leaving you bleeding on the ground too.”

“Hmm, that's a tough one.” Rance said as he suddenly started to ponder, while Alvina slowly pulled out her bow and Spectra took a step back. “Give me a moment to think about it…”

Ruffian C: 10 > 2 hit points remaining.

Without waiting, Haara quickly moved to one of the Redbrand and thrust at him with her spear. The ruffian screamed in fright as he moved out of the spear’s path, only for Haara to punch him in the armored part of his body. The impact didn't affect the ruffian entirely, as he only grunted at the punch. However, an arrow soon pierced through the armor, courtesy of the elf archer, and caused the ruffian to bellow out in pain.

Just then, Rance suddenly pulled his halberd out with his left hand and swung it horizontally.

The leading ruffian grunted in pain when the halberd mashed through the outer layer of his armor and his stomach, while the ruffian next to him – the one who got shot by Alvina – got his leather armor crushed by the boy's halberd and into his hip. The blow not only knocked the wind out of the ruffian, it also caused him to fall down as he yelled in pain.

“That's my answer.” Rance declared as he placed the halberd back and moved sideways and allowed Spectra to blast an eldritch magic at the ruffian leader’s face. The shot landed on the leader’s face, which caused him to stumble back from the sheer force of the blow.

“Why you…”

Ruffian A: d20(13)+4: 17 vs Rance (hit!). Damage: d6(5)+2: 7 slashing damage.
Rance: 20 > 13 hit point remained.

Ruffian C: d20(6)+4: 10 vs Rance (miss!).

Ruffian D: d20(18)+4: 22 vs Haara (hit!). Damage: d6(5)+2: 7 slashing damage.
Haara: 17 > 10 hit points remained.

“Gahaha! You need more than strength to–gyah!?” Rance was cut off by the same ruffian who he punched came and stabbed the brunette's shoulder. He kicked the ruffian off of him before the fighter ducked down to avoid a decapitating strike from the ruffian leader.

The third ruffian simply moved and attacked the blonde monk, which forced Haara to be on the defense using her spear. However, one slipped up caused the ruffian to land a blow on her hip, digging deep into her as she cried out in shock. However, the ruffian's face became confused due to his shortsword simply passing through her clothes without resistance.

Fiora's Firebolt: d20(15)+4: 19 vs Ruffian C (Hit!). Damage: d10: 3 fire damage.
Ruffian C defeated!

So distracted, that he didn't realize what happened till he heard the ruffian shout as the leader fell down on the ground and rolled to put out the fire he's covered by. The ruffian focuses back as the party goes back to the offensive.

2nd Round
Order: Haara > Alvina > Rance > Spectra > Redbrand Ruffians > Fiora

Haara's Spear: d20(16)+5: 21 vs Ruffian D (hit!). Damage: d8(6)+3: 9 piercing damage.
Bonus Unarmed Strike: d20(10)+5: 5 vs Ruffian D (hit!). Damage: d6(4)+3: 7 bludgeon damage. Total Damage: 16!
Ruffian D defeated!

Unfortunately for him, Haara took advantage of his distraction and thrust her spear with both hands, easily pierced through the armor as the ruffian screamed in pain. Then the blonde girl delivered a mean backhand punch to the man’s face, instantly knocking him out as Haara pulled the spear out.

The sole ruffian that remained, ironically the same guy who Rance punched before, realized how utterly outnumbered he was as the man slowly stepped back. Rance, despite being hurt by the stab, did not pull his sword out as he simply stood tall before the last ruffian with a smug look on his face.

“Hehehe… AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!”

The ruffian quickly ran away from them, his sword dropped out of fear in the process.

Rance's Second Wind (HP Recovery): d10(1)+2: 3 Hit Point restored.
Rance: 13 > 16/20 Hit Point.

Both Haara and Rance are tending to their own wounds while the three girls rounded up the ruffians and took them outside of the village for interrogation, at Fiora's behest strangely enough. So the two went back to the inn for a moment of rest, while the people cheered over them beating up the ruffians.

Outside of the village…

Spectra's Charm Person is casted!
Ruffian's Will Save: d20(5)-1: 4 (Fail!)
A ruffian is charmed!

Both Alvina and Fiora stared at Spectra as the changeling pressed her naked body to a still conscious ruffian and whispered sweet words to him. Within seconds, the ruffian's eyes turn glassy as the changeling’s spell works, completely enthralled him. Kruk watched from behind the tree, to keep himself in a safe distance from the ruffians.

“Kruk is curious, why are you three interrogating the ruffians?” The goblin asked, a mild curiosity spread to his face. “If it's about the castle, Kruk knows where it is.”

“Oh, that's for Haara.” Fiora answered to the goblin casually. “I knew her, she's someone who would be willing to kill these kinds of people at the drop of a hat. Just thought we should deal with them as we find Gundren.”

Kruk simply tilted his head.

“How come Kruk's not?”

“Ahem.” Both Fiora and Kruk turned to Spectra, who pointed at the enthralled man as a reminder of what they were doing. Then Spectra started to ask the enthralled man with questions. “Alright, first question: are there others like you.”

“Yes, my lady. There's several more of us in the old manor.”

“Good. And who is your leader and what is he planning?”

“His name is Glasstaff. And we were hired to frighten adventurers and intimidate the locals. We don't know who the person is or what they looked like. Only a name: Black Spider.” At that, the group stared at each other, surprised written on their faces. Then Spectra asked the ruffian about the Black Spider. “Like I said, not much to tell, aside from sending three bugbears to reinforce us and provide extra muscle.”

“Of fucking course.” Alvina said, irritated by the information.

“Is there anything about your base that we should know about?” Spectra asked without worries, not even bothering to make it seductive to the ruffian.

“Our hideout is in a dungeon under the Tresendar Manor. A lower part of the complex houses a hideous eye monster that Glasstaff made a deal with.”

“Eye monster?” The three girls turned toward each other and shrugged. “Is that all?”

“Yes, why?”

“Oh nothing, just thinking about what to do with you now…”

Meanwhile…

“....” Haara said nothing, her midsection had been bandaged just like Rance’s shoulder. The two are resting on the same bed, with the brunette bereft of his armor and shirt while his cloak is used to cover the girl's nude body.

“....”

“... You're not gonna talk?”

“....” Haara remained silent, stared away from Rance despite how close he was to her. The brunette let out a cheeky smile as he then did something that surprised her.

“Okay then… take this!”

“HUH!?”

With swift movement, Rance quickly grabbed hold of Haara and placed her on him, her back to his chest.

“Oi! What's the big ide–!?”

“Rance Tickle Attack!”

“Wha–?”

Rance then started to tickle Haara with his finger. Caught off guard, her body quivered as the blonde monk tried to hold herself through the use of her hand.

“H-hey! What a-are you d-d-doing!?”

Rance said nothing as he continued to tickle her, who had to keep herself from laughing because of it. Yet the way he tickled her made it very hard for Haara to hold it in. In fact, there were moments in which Haara let out a few noises from her lip, and she knows that Rance has a smug smile each time he does so.

“D-damn you bastard! C-cut it o-out!”

“Not until you tell me what's been bothering you~?” Rance sang to Haara as he continued to tickle her, with her will slowly breaking as she started to giggle.

“O-okay, okay! I-I’ll talk!” The blonde nudist relented, with the boy finally stopping what he was doing to her. Gently, Rance turned Haara around so that she could face him, making certain that the cloak wouldn't turn as well. Then he grabbed her shoulders and gave Haara a stare, which caused her to sighed in resignation.

“... I don't like your claims of owning Spectra and Alvina like they're property.” She said with a frown on her face. Rance beckoned her to elaborate on it through his expression. “The way you said it, they basically belong to you and have no freedom at all.”

“Err, really?” She nodded to him in response, which caused him to think a bit over what he said. “I only mean that Spectra's my follower, while Alvina… well… it's a bit complicated…”

“... I'll take your word for it.” She said, with doubt on her expression. “Just don't make me regret this.”

“Don't worry, you won't regret it.” Rance said in reassurance, while Haara is still doubtful of his word.

That's when someone knocked on a door.

Immediately, Rance had Haara get off of him so that she could be covered by his cloak in a fluid motion, before the young man casually walked toward the door to answer it. He opened the door, only to see who it was that knocked the door.

“Um… were you the adventurer who beat the mean Redbrands?” A young boy, no less than eight years old, asked him. Rance slowly nodded in response, confusion appeared on his face as the boy's face lit up. “Please, can you help find my mom and big sis?”

Rance turned toward Haara, who stared back at him, before he turned to focus on the boy.

“Could you tell me about it?”

“Those Redjerks hurt my father badly, enough that I haven't seen him since then. Soon after, both mom and big sis disappeared while I stayed at my friend's house.” He told the two, with Haara stared at the boy in sympathy. “I know those Redjerks had something to do with them, but many villagers are too scared to help me… and I don't want to fight people.”

“I see, and you know where your sister and mother could be?”

The boy nodded in response.

“The Redjerks made a hideout on a spooky manor. My friend told me that there's a secret entrance there too.” The two perked up at what the boy said before, their interest peaked by it. “If you want to go by a secret entrance, he could take you there.”

“Yeah, consider me interested. Where is your friend?” Rance asked, his thoughts going toward planning for an assault.

Several minutes later, Haara had finished her conversation with a halfling boy named Carp and quickly returned to the party, who had all waited for her by the Sleeping Giant, where the ruffians stayed at and had since become their prison.

Kruk and the three wolves are there as well, somehow managed to get through the village without being seen.

“So? What did the boy say?” Alvina asked, agitated for a reason only Rance could've known.

“He said that there was a secret entrance in the nearby forest;” She said, bringing attention to the party, “I convinced him to simply tell me direction toward it so we could go there without worrying for the boy's safety.”

“Then we're not gonna waste any more time then.” Alvina said as she moved toward the door to leave the building. However, Rance suddenly blocked her way, with Alvina actually glared at him. “Move away, Rance.”

“No. We'll need to make a plan of attack.”

“I do have a plan: attack.” Alvina stated in a clear, but irritated, tone. The brunette didn't budge as she attempted to go through him. “Rance.”

“That kind of attitude would lead to reckless endangerment and would get your ally killed.” Rance told Alvina, giving the beautiful elf a staredown. The elf glared at him, yet did nothing to keep forward. “Besides, I have a plan to get inside, and rescue a pair of daughter and mother.”

And so Rance started to explain his plans to the party. The party, who listened, wanted to object to his plans, yet they're forced to agree with Rance's reasoning.

They just hope that Rance knows what he's doing.

Explanation: This story is essentially a non-canon story to Haara Brightwater’s works, as it takes place in an entirely separate setting. All characters from there are mostly different. This is a D&D game where I play against myself as a sort of test, and it's my first time actually playing D&D. Please bear with this.

“Ooh, I still don't like this…”

“I know, but it's the only way I could've thought of to rescue the hostages.”

Spectra could only make a whine noise as Rance led the way, climbing down a flight of stone stairs from the kitchen with a torch on hand. The brunet, rather than a breastplate, now wears a leather armor worn by the redbrand members with a rope on the other hand. Said ropes are tied to Spectra's hands, seemingly binded by it, with a distressed expression on her face.

“But why me? Haara could fight with her fist.” Spectra spoke as the two could see the bottom of the stair they're walking toward.

“Because I'm in need of someone who could attack in range. And before you asked, I had to confiscate her weapon if that were the case.” He explained to the changeling girl.

“... Muu, and I know a spell that lets me conjure a weapon, and had known a firebolt spell.”

“That is indeed the reason why I picked you.” The two then reached the bottom and right at the door that would, without a doubt, lead them to the Redbrand’s hideout. “You ready?”

“Um, give me a second.” Spectra immediately changed her appearance, to make herself look like a cute village girl. “There, I'm ready.”

Nodded in confirmation, Rance slowly opened the door into the ruffian's hideout…

The door opens onto a five-foot-wide landing fifteen feet above a large cellar, with stone steps descending to the floor in two short flights. Another door stands beneath the stairs to the north. A large stone cistern occupies the western part of the room, whose walls are lined with kegs and barrels.

“Hmm…” Rance stared at the cistern as he approached it, with Spectra followed him from close behind as they stared at the inside of it.

Perception (Rance): d20(19)+2: 21 (Pass).
Perception (Spectra): d20(9)+2: 11 (Fail).

Deep within the water-filled cistern, the brunette noticed a satchel. Curious about it, Rance silently dipped his arm on the water, made certain that his action wouldn't make any noises, and grabbed hold of the satchel after it went deep. He then pulled it out and checked the contents within it.

“Let's see… a healing potion, a potion I know not what it does, gold pieces, and clothes.” Rance said as he pulled out each content of the satchel before the brunette put it back in. “Alright, I'll hold on to it then.”

Potion of Healing, Unknown Potion, 50 gp (divided between Rance and Spectra), and a set of traveling clothes acquired

“Well then, let's continue on.” Rance said as he went toward the door to the west, and slowly opened it.

This appears to be a storeroom pressed into service as living quarters. Two double bunks stand against the wall near the door, while barrels and crates fill the southern half of the chamber.

And inside are three ruffians who turned toward where Rance came from.

“And who are you, boy?” One of them said, his hand on the shortsword.

“Oi! I'm a new guy here! How can you guys not notice my cloak!?” Rance asked in a Scottish accent, seemingly look offended at not being recognized. “I've only been recruited sometime ago, this is my first time I ever stepped foot in this place!”

Deception: d20(4, advantage 10): 10 (pass).

“... If you say so?” The ruffian said in confusion right as he took notice of Spectra in her disguise. “And what about her? Why was she nude?”

“Oh her? She was part of those blockhead adventurers who thought they were tough sons of prostitutes. Kick their arse we did! The best part is that there are four beauties and one idiot!” He explained to the ruffian, who nodded in response. Behind Rance, Spectra managed to look scared and defeated to sell that she was captured. “Was told to take her to base while they processed with others.”

“Well, why didn't you say so? There's a secret door south of here leading to a tunnel, follow that and take right through the crevice, without falling down there. Keep walking straight till you reach a room filled with goods. After, take the secret door to the right, or east in a directional sense, and follow the path to a crypt guarded by a skeleton. They won't attack you as long as you wear the scarlet cloak.” The ruffian told Rance, who nodded in understanding. “In case you somehow lost it on the way, just say Illefarn to the skeleton.”

“Okay, I'll take her there.” Rance said as he left the room, pushing Spectra in the process while the brunette closed the door.

“By the way, there's a door under the stairs. It'll take you straight to the crypt, but it has a pitfall trap along the way.” The ruffian warned them before Rance could fully close the door. “And the cavern is home to a really vicious one-eyed monster. It won't attack us, don't worry about it. But only as long as you feed him with food.”

“Alright, thanks for the warning.”

“Hope you'll enjoy your reward boy! It's a fun experience!” The ruffian spoke just as the door closed. Rance and Spectra, because of the former being a reckless fool, went toward the northern door. Soon after, Rance opened the door and entered with Spectra behind him.

Thick dust covers the flagstones of this somber hallway. The walls are decorated with faux columns every ten feet, and the double doors at the west end of the hall are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.

Perception (Rance): d20(7, advantage 16)+2: 18 (pass).
Perception (Spectra): d20(5, advantage 8)+2: 10 (fail).

And in the middle of the hallway, Rance noticed the loose stone tile that's a telltale sign of a pitfall trap. He also noticed the narrow ledge in the north and south side of it for passage.

“Spectra, follow my lead.” Rance said as he walked toward the edge with the changeling behind him.

Acrobatics (Rance): d20(15)+3: 18 (pass).
Acrobatics (Spectra): d20(3)+5: 8 (fail).

Trap triggered!

Dex Saving Throw: d20(14)+3: 17 (pass).

Both adventurers skirted around the trap to proceed. But as the two slowly proceed, Spectra suddenly slipped and fell on the loose ground with a yelp. Her weight was enough to cause the floor to collapse and the changeling nearly fell had she not catched the edge of the newly formed pit.

“Shit. Spectra don't look down.” Rance said as he looked at the pit that is 20 ft deep. A fall like that could cripple anyone if not killed. “Just make your way to the other side.”

Spectra nodded, absolutely scared for her life after that experience.

Thankfully, it took less than half of minutes before the two managed to cross the pitfall, with the two continued their way to the next door.

Rance and Spectra each received 50 XP!

Three large stone sarcophagi stand within this dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate.

The two could see that the skeletons turned to stare at them, but had yet to impede Rance and Spectra. In the distance, they also heard a noise coming from the door on the northeast, though the two had yet to know what it was that made the noises. Both Rance and Spectra turned to each other and nodded as they approached the northeast door. As the two approached, Rance slowly opened the door with his hand, and their noses were hit with a stench the two recognized all too well.

This long room is partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and south. Filthy straw lines the floors of those cells, the hinged doors of which are secured by chains and padlocks. A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall.

And within the cell to the south, Rance and Spectra saw two ruffians continuously thrust their hips on two females, one an adult lady with brown hair and the other a blonde 18-year old girl. Aside from the occasional weak moans from them, the women did nothing to resist them.

They could see the brown haired woman laid on her front, her ass raised and jiggle with each thrust the man made without stopping. Meanwhile, the blonde girl was on her back and seemed to stare at the ceiling, with her breast jiggled from the other man's thrust.

Spectra tried not to let it bother her as Rance opened the door fully and allowed the two to go inside. The brunet slowly unsheathed his sword while the changeling summoned her pact weapon with her hand. The two ruffians are both naked and unarmed, which allowed them to take them by surprise far more easily than it should.

The two nodded to each other and went to strike.

Longsword: d20(4, advantage 19)+5: 24, hit. Damage: d10(6)+3: 9 slashing damage.
Pact Rapier: d20(6, advantage 14)+5: 19, hit. Damage: d8(5)+3: 8 piercing damage.

STAB!

Both weapons pierce through their bodies without even striking the captives.

Miraculously, both men managed to survive the stab as the two got up from their activities, turning to face the two with a shocked expression.

Initiative: Redbrand Ruffians d20(6, disadvantage 2)+2: 4, Rance Cailean d20(12)+1: 13, Spectra d20(6)+3: 9.

Initiative Order: Rance Cailean > Spectra > Redbrand Ruffians

Bound Rapier vs Redbrand Ruffian: d20(1)+5: 6, critical miss!
Spectra is prone!

“What the–!?”

The ruffian didn't finish his sentences as Rance quickly cut him down, killing him instantly as Spectra tried to attack the other nude ruffian, only to trip and fall on the ground. Seeing the situation, the ruffians attempt to quickly move toward where their discarded equipment is stored.

Rance's Reaction Attack!
Longsword vs Ruffian: d20(18)+5: 23, hit. Damage: 1d10(1)+3: 4 slashing damage.

But the strike to the ruffian's midsection stops him, with only a yelp of pain the man could make as he falls to the ground.

Round 2

Longsword vs Ruffian: d20(7)+5: 12, hit. Damage: d10(9)+3: 12 slashing damage.

Combat Resolved!

“Wa-wai–!”

The slash from Rance's sword ends the ruffian's life before he could beg for mercy.

As the body falls to the ground, Spectra gets up and massages her head.

“You're okay?” Rance asked as he checked over her.

“Uuu. I should've blasted him with a spell.” The shifter whined, even as she stood up and walked over the two females on the ground. The shifter looked worried over their well-being, while Rance walked up to them and kneel down.

“Now what should we do about them?”
