Summary
The South knows Cregan Stark mostly for the hour of the wolf and the unfulfilled Pact of Ice and Fire. The North has more tales to tell about him. There the Lord of Winterfell was most respected for his cunning rulership. So cunning it was in fact, that even the South found a title for him: The Old Man in the North. What didn’t reach the South however, were the rumors of how he procured the knowledge necessary to make such fruitful decisions, or how he became so old. An exploration of the tales that stand in no book a maester has ever written, for the first men guard their secrets jealously.
