Chapter Text
The small maid Drone creeps through the hallways of a dimly lit manor, looking back and forth in pure terror and fear. She wears a pair of circular, wide-rim glasses on her face, and a lacey black bonnet on her head. As she walks, something follows her moments, creeping along the ceiling with glowing red eyes. She's unaware of its presence as it draws ever closer, teeth curved into a malicious smile. The girl continues to move cautiously, before she's suddenly stopped in her tracks by a drop of saliva falling to the floor in front of her. Freezing in place, she slowly cranes her neck upwards, eyes widening in shock as she sees the creature perched on the ceiling above her. With a low growl, the creature lunges at its prey-
A horrible scream emanates from the TV as the eyes of the gathered drones remain transfixed by the events of the screen. Uzi sits on the couch, her face bearing an eerily entertained grin as a tin of 9-volt batteries rests in her lap. On her right is N, who is biting his fingers in fear and anticipation, looking startled by the events of the screen. To Uzi's left is V, who bears a look of mild entertainment. Sitting next to V are Lizzy and Doll, both of whom are looking on in eager anticipation. Sitting next to N is Tessa, who looks both scared and intrigued, and sitting next to Tessa is J, bearing a look of unamused uninterest. Finally, sitting on the floor in front of the couch is Cyn, who looks the most entertained by the movie.
“Sigh. I thought that she would last longer,” Cyn mused.
“I know, right?” Uzi responded. “She seemed like the smart one.”
“I still can't believe they killed off the cheerleader girl so early,” Lizzy commented. “Like, who's supposed to bring the gorgeous looks now?” her statement elicited a giggle from Doll.
“Clearly the one who's actually smart,” J indicated as the TV cut to show a female Drone with blonde hair tied in pigtails, accompanied by two others that she was guiding through the mansion. “That's why she's lasted so long.”
J watched in dismay as the girl she had pointed out was immediately impaled through the chest by the point of a tendril, before being dragged screaming offscreen. A look of annoyance crept onto her face, before she turned to see Lizzy raising her eyebrow and smirking at her.
“Whatever,” J scoffed. “She still lasted longer than that pink bimbo.”
“I think the shy guy will be the one to survive at the end,” Tessa mused. “There's no way they'd kill him off. He's too sweet and cute!”
“Not to mention he's got the goth girl looking out for him,” Uzi giggled. “She literally punched the monster in the face earlier! There's no way she's gonna die.” Uzi then turned to N. “What do you think so far, N? Good choice for movie night, huh?”
N sighed. “I wanted to watch Air Bud.”
“Maybe next time, buddy.”
On the TV, the two aforementioned characters were suddenly confronted by a new figure- it was the girl with the glasses from earlier, however now she was twisted and contorted, with fleshy, pointed limbs protruding from her back. Her mouth was filled with rows of sharp teeth, and she let out a malicious cackle.
“What!?” Several of them said in disbelief.
“Giggle. I told you,” Cyn said. “The monster is that one maid girl. She got infected by the mind flayer virus.”
“Wow,” Uzi said. “This movie sure is strangely derivative.”
With that, they all sat back and continued to watch the movie.
