Chapter 1: Aisa Bathhouse: Interview with Charlotte

Good morning everyone! This is Charlotte of the Steambird and I am currently in Inazuma City! Today we are at the Aisa Bathhouse which is scheduled to open on the 12th of February! With me I have one of the owners, Yumemizuki Mizuki!

"Hello ~ "

Miss Yumemizuki, can you please tell us more about the Aisa Bathhouse?

"Our Aisa Bathhouse is a first of a kind establishment in Inazuma ~ utilising special technology from Natlan we have created the first hotspring onsen! Bathing in our hot and warm waters can help improve blood circulation, reduce stress and improve your sleep quality ~"

Amazing! Does the Aisa Bathhouse have any special activities lined up for its grand opening?

"Mr. and Ms. Kamisato will have the honour of being the first guests ~ And there'll be a special blessing session by the Guuji Yae Miko ~ Oh and also there'll be a special Ms. Hina signing session ~"

T-The heavy hitters of the Inazuman celebrity scene! What extensive reach you must have Ms. Yumemizuki!

Chapter 2: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Ganyu

"Is this the place?" Ganyu looked up at the signboard of Aisa Bathhouse as she double checked the map.

By the way you should totally check out the new Aisa Bathhouse, I guarantee that you'll have a pleasant experience. And do unwind yourself there in the warm hotspring baths. - Yae Miko.

Ganyu recounted Yae's words as she entered the bathhouse.

"Welcome ~ What beautiful horns you have dear guest ~" a lady floated down to meet Ganyu, briefly surprising the qilin.

"Um, this is the Aisa Bathhouse right?"

"Yes ~ My good friend Miko told me that an important Liyuean emissary named Ganyu was coming by, that would be you, yes?" and then said lady's tail caressed Ganyu's chin cheekily.

"P-Personal space please! And your name?"

"I'm Yumemizuki Mizuki, owner of Aisa Bathhouse ~ Aisa Bathhouse would like to extend a free premium bathing hotspring onsen experience for you. On the left side we have the women's bath, on the right we have the men's bath."

"And what about the centre?"

"Mixed ~"

"! 😳"

"Women's bath? We can also arrange for a private bathing experience if you would like that instead~"

"Y-Yes please."

And so Ganyu had a reinvigorating hotspring bath at Aisa Bathhouse

Chapter 3: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Layla

Layla took in the incredible feeling of the warm hotspring water as she dipped in. She had managed to obtain a free premium bathing and consultation service at the Aisa Bathhouse via a scratchcard. And soon she had boarded a boat during the midsem break, while hustling as its star charter and navigator of course.

"The water's nice and warm, right ~"

"Y-Yes. Uwaaaaaaa..." Layla couldn't help but melt into the water as she felt all the accumulated stress dissipate as she stepped into the open air bath.

Oh and beside her was Yumemizuki Mizuki, floating above the water. Layla had been a little embarassed being in a hotspring nude with Mizuki, but all that was swept away by her body relaxing itself in the hotspring.

"Later I can guarantee that you'll have the best sleep of your life ~"

"I hope so, I somehow can never sleep well... And then I still have to focus in classes, and do assignments, and read books, and the Akademiya never lets us rest, our schedules are packed with extracurriulars too." Layla vented and Mizuki listened earnestly.

"And?"

"And I'm always afraid of never meeting the deadlines, worrying over my assignment quality, worrying over disappointing my parents and lecturers, and having to meet the scholarship's requirements every s-semester..."
In the midst of her outpour, some tears began to well at the edges of Layla's tired eyes as she tried to hold them back.

"It's okay, it's good to let it all go from time to time." Mizuki hugged Layla from behind as her delicate shoulders began to tremble as the tears flowed out.

"S-Sorry..."

"Layla, you've done well so far, and you're the strongest girl I've ever met. Moving forward, I'm sure that you'll keep up. I'm sure that your parents are super super proud of you, after all, you're the best daughter that the stars could have sent. So right now, it's time to let your heart unwind."

Mizuki hummed an old folksong as Layla calmed herself down.

"Say Layla, do you like stars?"

"... I do."

Mizuki pointed at the night sky above them.

"That star there, the bright one. Can you tell me it's name?"

"T-That one's Deneb, it's part of the Cygnus constellation."

"Good girl ~ See? You're doing well ~."

Mizuki and Layla continued to chat, and sometimes watched quietly, as the night sky above them danced.

Chapter 4: Yumemizuki Mizuki: Vision

Her earliest endeavour into healthcare was as a nurse during the cataclysm, the Youkai of Inazuma, who had previously shyed away from worldly affairs were roused to defend their home. Oni went to fight, kitsune wielded their mastery over elements, while other Youkai served in the homefront.

Yumemizuki Mizuki, like others of her Yumekui Baku kind, served by caring for the injured as nurses.

It was another night of service, and the makeshift tents of injured warriors were filled with gloom as purple lightning struck across all of Inazuma.

Yumemizuki watched as night turned to midnight, and the warriors slowly drowsed off out of necessity to rest.

Yet their minds didn't seem to rest. Contorted faces of pain and anguish filled Mizuki's eyes, as the occasional person awoke from nightmares from the front.

The Yumekui Baku were Youkai that could eat away nightmares, but they had warned each other about consuming the nightmares of traumatized warriors, these nightmares were of a different caliber, and enough to send even the most stable of Yumekui Baku into shock.

But compassion won over Yumemizuki, and she consumed her first nightmare from a nameless soldier with an amputated arm. The next few memories that Yumemizuki could recall are nothing but a daze, most likely a self-defense mechanism of her mind. But she could easily remember herself violently vomiting and crying after that first nightmare.

The taste of blood, the smell of iron, the sounds of men and women screaming in fear and horror were only silenced by the thunderous march of thunder and lightning.

Yumemizuki Mizuki pushed herself on, eating more and more nightmares as she sent the soldiers off to a better sleep. When she went to the river to vomit again, she could hardly recognise her face.

Eyes reddened, cheeks sunken, skin pale, hair unkempt and clothes disheveled, she was a shadow of her previous precious self, all from just one night of nightmare consumption.

And so she sat down and prayed for everyone's well being and safety, for she could no longer cry anymore as her tears had dried up.

"May the heavens grant everyone sweet dreams free of nightmares... For if the real world is to be so full of suffering and pain, at least they could find freedom from anguish in their minds and hearts..."

And then a humble glow erupted from her palm as Mizuki reopened her eyes.

A vision, a vision which reinvigorated her spirits and gave her much needed encouragement to push forward. A vision to free the dreams of people from pain, suffering and sadness. A vision to help grant people freedom from terror and nightmares.

Chapter 5: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Rosaria

Rosaria looked up, discerning the signboard of Aisa Bathhouse, she confirmed it and entered.

"I have a scratch card for a premium bathing experience to redeem..." she would've never have made the trip, but Barbara insisted, saying that it was Barbabatos' divine gift to her or something.

"On my way ~ I am Yumemizuki Mizuki ~ Oh my, it's quite rare to see Mondstadters here," Yumemizuki Mizuki floated around a corner to greet Rosaria.

"I wouldn't be here without this scratch card, by the way, is it possible to smoke inside?"

"Hmm, there'll be a lot of water so it'll be difficult ~ I'll sort something out ~ You may undress here, after the bath you'll find your clothes neatly folded and freshly washed and dried ~" Yumemizuki led Rosaria towards a private hallway.

"Alright, and the bath is private right?" Rosaria did so, revealing more of her pale gray skin to Mizuki who looked on curiously.

"Yup ~ I can join you if you want ~ "

"Do as you please. You guys have alcohol here?"

"We do ~ Would you like some Dandelion Wine from the Dawn Winery? Or some Asahi super dry?"

"Dandelion Wine. Thanks."

Rosaria stepped out and took in the scenery as Mizuki floated away behind a corner, presumably to heed Rosaria's requests.

Steeping into the warm waters, she relaxed herself. She didn't expect an overly friendly attendant to be with her, but Mizuki was nice enough to accommodate her, and well it's a lot better than being chased by her fellow clergy. Plus she didn't mind the friendly conversation either.

"Dandelion Wine ~ And a pipe of tobacco for you ~"

A sip of familiar homeland wine, and a puff of smoke. Mayhaps Rosaria had never felt this calm and relaxed in her life. But did she deserve this kind of indulgence?

"..."

"Dear guest, is there something wrong? If need be I can lower the temperature of the water."

"Just thinking about stuff. I could never experience something like this back home."

"All the more the reason to live in the moment and enjoy it~"

Another puff and sip. Yeah, for now Rosaria could enjoy the finer details of life.

"This is a good place. Would you mind expanding into Mondstadt? You could take me as a guard or something."

"Hmm, in a few years perhaps?"

"Great, looking forward to it."

And then a cat leapt over the walls of the open air bath.

"Ara ~"

"... It's a cute one."

And so Rosaria and Mizuki began their idyllic cat watching activity in the hotspring.

Chapter 6: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Chiori

"A new establishment... Facade looks nice." Chiori eyed the front of Aisa Bathhouse and entered.

"Welcome ~ You must be Chiori ~"

"Have we met?"

"Hmm, I don't think so, but I know about you ~ Miss Chioriya ~ "

"Oh cut the flattery, I'm here to experience your most premium quality baths. And your name?"

"Yumemizuki Mizuki, one of the many proprietors of Aisa Bathhouse, it's an honour to make your acquaintance ~ Right this way here dear Chiori ~"

Yumemizuki led Chiori by the hand into a private hallway, where she assisted Chiori in unwrapping herself.

"Not going in with me?" asked Chiori as Yumemizuki folded her clothes.

"Inviting me in with you? How generous ~"

"It'll feel weird if I'm the only one like this. Turn around, I'll help."

"As you wish ~"

Chiori's dexterous hands did their magic, and she ran her fingers across the fabrics that Yumemizuki wore, gently scrutinizing their quality.

"If you would like, Chioriya Boutique is looking into developing a waterproof kind of fabric. Perhaps Aisa Bathhouse would be interested?"

"Oh my, miss Chiori certainly is proactive ~ In that case I'll put in an inquiry ~"

"Just securing some business partners y'know, expect a quotation from Komaniya Express in a few days."

"Likewise, expect some free premium entry coupons ~"

Both ladies entered the bath together, and enjoyed the warmth of the hotsprings as they made enjoyable small talk, both regarding future partnerships, and their lives and news within and outside Inazuma.

Chapter 7: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Mualani & Kachina

"M-Mualani, are you sure this is the place?"

"Yup! Look at that BIGGGGGGGGGGG sign right there! Aisa Bathhouse!"

Mualani held Kachina's hand and excitedly dashed into the bathhouse with no hesitation.

"Yaho! Mizuki are you here?"

"That voice, Mualani. Welcome to Aisa Bathhouse and Inazuma ~ And this cute girl here?" Yumemizuki Mizuki floated down to greet them happily.

"I'm Kachina from the Children of Echoes! Mualani's friend."

"Not just any friend, my best friend!"

Kachina rubbed her head out of embarrassment as Mualani showcased their friendship to Yumemizuki, who happily watched on.

"My name is Yumemizuki Mizuki ~ one of the many proprietors of Aisa Bathhouse ~"

"Um, Mualani mentioned that this place had hotspring baths, even when it's so far away from Natlan, i-is this true?" asked Kachina.

"Why yes, Mualani and one of your tribesmen helped me in developing this system. Mualani herself helped immensely with the logistics."

"Hehe, it was nothing! We just packed some liquid phlogiston and shipped them over here."

"Anyways, I'll give you two free entry ~ Actually Mualani is also here to do some inspection ~"

"W-We couldn't!" Kachina as she politely declined.

"Kachina, it's better to accept hospitality in times like this."

"T-Then thank you very much! Miss Yumemizhuski Meezhuski" Kachina stuttered a bit and quickly did bows of apologies as Mualani calmed her down.

"Don't worry about it ~ Well then, I'll lead you into the underground section where we can look at the stored liquid phlogiston ~"

Yumemizuki floated towards a set of hidden stairs, and opened a tightly sealed door with Mualani and Kachina in tow.

They were greeted by a large hall, with liquid phlogiston stored in containers resembling fish tanks.

"Wow!"

"These are stored in strong transparent materials designed to withstand high temperatures and be strong against impact. The liquid phlogiston heats up the upper layer, warming the waters above. And if the temperature needs to be controlled, a control panel can be used to shift the quantities of phlogiston around, or adjust various parameters ~"

Mualani darted around and wrote down notes while taking pictures with a kamera, most likely for record keeping.

"Yup! Everything is in order and safe!"

"Now into the baths you two go ~ I'm sure you've had a long journey, and Aisa Bathhouse treats its guests with utmost love and care ~"

Yumemizuki gently edged both Mualani and Kachina out of the basement and into the hotspring baths. And so Mualani and Kachina enjoyed a relaxing trip to Inazuma.

Chapter 8: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Wriothesley & Sigewinne

"Hmm..." Wriothesley looked up from the map up at the signage.

"Stop dawdling around my Duke! It's says Aisa Bathhouse clearly right here. In we go!"

Sigewinne dragged her boss by the hand into the establishment, where they are greeted by none other than Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"Welcome, dear guests from afar ~ I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, how aged is this melusine, young gentleman?"

"More wise and more aged than me. Actually I think I'm a little too gruff to be called a gentleman."

"A shame ~" Yumemizuki pointed at a sign that read out 'Children under 13 have free entry into the baths'.

"Hmm, maybe you could pretend to ignore what he just said?"

"Sigewinne... Don't mind this mischievous little one, how much?"

"That'll depend on which kind of bathing experience you'd like ~ Oh and we also offer an extendable overnight stay. Many guests have happily gave feedback that they've had the best sleep ever here, and that all their worries simply disappear overnight ~"

"My Duke, just pick the most expensive course for both of us please."

Wriothesley sighed and paid the money for an overnight stay.

"Still, it's rare for people of the land of calm beautiful waters to drop by ~ Which events are you here for?"

"There's the 124th Tea Leaves Exhibition and 1553th Prison Warden's Symposium I'm here for. Little Sigewinne here is -"

"For the Annual Healthcare Forum!"

"Oh my, could you be a colleague of mine? I used to be a nurse a long time ago, but now I've settled into psychotherapy."

Sigewinne lit up like a happy golden retriever as she approached Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"A psychotherapist! Say, would you be interested for a little discussion about humans?"

"Heh, looks like my head nurse Sigewinne has found a new favourite individual. Which way to the bath, missus?"

"Men's bath is on the right. Mixed bath is on the centre. Women's bath is on the left."

"Mixed huh..." And then a white cloud floated by Wriothesley which he could somehow catch and hold.

"A complimentary cloud of happiness to obscure your body should you need it ~"

"Tch"

Wriothesley gave off a laugh as he strode into the men's bath.

"Now, your name is Sigewinne, right?"

"Yes! And you are Yumemizuki Mizuki yes?"

"Yes ~ Would you like a bath first? Or a discussion first? Or a meal first?"

And so Wriothesley & Sigewinne had a nice relaxing overnight stay at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 9: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Timaeus & Ying'er

"L-Let's go, Ying'er!" Timaeus grabbed hold of Ying'er's hand and they both walked through the front door of Aisa Bathhouse.

A Youkai named Yumemizuki Mizuki came to happily greet them.

"What a pleasant scent ~ Honey moon trip? We have a 50% discount for the Lovey Dovey Couple's overnight stay set ~"

"Then we'll take that, thank you very much," replied Ying'er.

"Then I'll lead you two to your new love nest ~"

Up the stairs they went, with Yumemizuki floating upwards. She opened up the doors to room 69, and in went Timaeus and Ying'er with her.

"You may use our comfy slippers here ~ And over there we have an extensive catalogue of books and magazines from the Yae Publishing House ~ We also have some complimentary tea and coffee ~"

Floating towards a sliding door, Yumemizuki opened up the balcony to reveal an elegant warmed shared bath.

"Is there only one bath here?" asked Timaeus timidly as his face grew increasingly red as he scanned the room. Out of the corner of his eyes he spotted a pile of conspicuously placed square packets.

"Of course you are free to use the common baths below ~ But since it's a special trip for you two, perhaps sharing a moment together would lead to new happy dreams ~"

"That's right Tim! I'll wash your back later."

"Then I'll leave you two to your room ~ Dinner will be available from 6 to 8 PM, a supper menu will be available from 10 to 12 ~ I'll hang up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign for you ~"

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki floated out of the room, gently closing the door behind her. And not a second later she could hear the sound of the an object hitting the bed at a high velocity.

"My... We can add another couple review to our list. Aisa Bathhouse's nomination for top honeymoon vacation spot in Inazuma is not out of reach after all ~"

Chapter 10: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Yae Miko

"My, if it isn't the Guuji Yae ~" Yumemizuki Mizuki came to greet the great Yae Miko as she entered the Aisa Bathhouse establishment.

"The usual please," said Yae as Yumemizuki floated over to her side.

What was the usual? The usual is a premium private personal bath, with an attendant at her side and some fried tofu snacks by the side, combined with the best alcohol Aisa Bathhouse could source and calming incense.

Yumemizuki helped to unwrap Yae, and they both entered the bath, with Yumemizuki floating above the waterline at Yae's side.

"As always, thank you for your patronage, Guuji Yae ~" Mizuki poured another shot of sake for Yae, who happily downed the drink.

"Always happy to lend the Youkai my help, Aisa Bathhouse, and its Ryokan services has been a god sent for Inazuma, especially since we're receiving more guests after the Sakoku debacle."

"Ara ~ Then I can expect an excellent year ~"

"By the way, I saw you at the New Year prayer session, Hatsumode. Say, what did you pray for?"

Yumemizuki giggled a little.

"Did I catch your eye that much?"

"You're plenty eye catching, so?"

Both Youkai then laughed and reveled.

"You jest ~"

"Back to the question."

"I prayed for world peace ~"

"World peace? I thought you would wish for excellent business luck?"

"Hmm, maybe I should've prayed to gobble up all the nightmares in the world~"

"What a gluttonous Yumekui-Baku you are."

"Anyways, a peaceful world is an ideal world for a bathhouse. And a peaceful world is an ideal world overall."

"Understandable." Yae glanced over at Yumemizuki's anemo vision, which calmly glowed in peace.

Picking up a piece of fried tofu with a pair of chopsticks, Yumemizuki fed Yae.

"Ah~"

"Nom. Nothing feels better than being treated like the protagonist of an isekai light novel."

And so Yae Miko had a deeply relaxing and insightful bath at Aisa Bathhouse with Yumemizuki Mizuki.

Chapter 11: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Mavuika

vroom vroom

Mavuika removed her helmet and took in the sight of the Aisa Bathhouse, and entered.

"Welcome ~ You must be the special Natlan guest right? Inazuma welcomes all ~ I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, your attendant for today ~"

"An attendant? I don't think bathing would require an attendant?"

Yumemizuki let out a soft laugh and floated behind Mavuika.

"Your name is Mavuika, correct? Come, let's get you all rested ~"

Yumemizuki gently edged Mavuika into the private premium corner, where she let Mavuika unzip and enter the hot spring by herself as she prepared some brew and lit an incense burner.

"Dear Mavuika, would you like a drink? I have some of Inazuma's finest brews here ~"

"Woah, scared me a little there. Floating must be handy here."

"It is ~ I don't have to worry about getting soaked unnecessarily ~"

"Do you get tired floating all the time?"

"Hmm, most Inazuman Youkai have stronger constitutions when push comes to shove, plus I've lived a longer life than most ~ I manage."

Mavuika took a sip of the brew that Yumemizuki brought over.

"This is good! I should bring some back for my friends."

"Do invite them over to Aisa Bathhouse too ~ By the way, want to listen to some local Inazuma folklore?"

Small talk and story sharing, Mavuika and Yumemizuki happily chatted on and on.

"And then bam! The great evil was banished forever by the heroes!" bellowed out Mavuika.

"A happy ending is always delightful ~ I'd imagine that Natlan is now in a much better spot ~" Yumemizuki clapped her hands and watched as Mavuika slid ever so slightly into the waters.

"Yeah. A happy ending..."

"Hmm... dear Mavuika, you still seem awfully stressed. Your shoulders are pretty tense." Yumemizuki poked at them, and her fingers rebounded.

"I might have forgotten how to relax. Plus there's still a lot to do after." staring forward, Mavuika replied, and then Yumemizuki's face appeared in front of her eyes, blocking her view.

"Dedicating oneself to a cause is excellent, though I'd recommend at least 2 to 3 days of rest every week and cap your working hours to a maximum of 9 everyday, and do worry about yourself more ~" Yumemizuki placed an outstretched index finger on Mavuika nose briefly, before moving away.

"O-Okay."

"Good ~ Now, another drink for you?"

And so Mavuika had a relaxing bath at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 12: Aisa Bathhouse: 2nd Interview with Charlotte

Good morning everyone! This is Charlotte of the Steambird and I am once again in Inazuma City! Previously we covered the grand opening of the Aisa Bathhouse which has been a stunning success! With high profile guests such as The Duke of the Fortress of Meropide, the Guuji Yae, Fashion Icon Chiori, and even the Pyro Archon herself, Aisa Bathhouse is set to soar! This comes with a revival and boom in Inazuman tourism following the repeal of the Sakoku Decree!

Today, I have Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki of the Aisa Bathhouse with me!

"Hello ~ Firstly, I'd like to extend my gratitude to all the patrons of Aisa Bathhouse, your support means the world to us, and we will strive to continue to represent the pinnacle of Inazuman hospitality ~"

"Hmm. Actually, I brought a book over to read in the past time." retorted Cyno, waving a book with no cover in front of Tighnari's face.

"Interesting, what kind of book is it?"

"It's a steamy novel, since we're going to a bathhouse with hot springs."

"You..."

And so the two entered the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~ An overnight stay for 2?"

"Any discounts or ongoing promotions?" asked Tighnari.

"Hmm, we have a 50% for the Lovey Dovey Couple's overnight stay set, which includes an extendable overnight stay, complimentary meals and access to all of Aisa Bathhouse's facilities ~"

"Heh, what a steamy coincidence for this bathhouse."

"Cut it out with the dumb puns please..."

"Don't worry, once we're in the sauna, it'll be so hot that all my jokes will just evaporate. Anyways, the 50% deal is the best it seems." Cyno said as he made a cursory look at the pricing scheme.

"Hmm, well I don't mind. We can use the extra money to buy souvenirs for the others."

Yumemizuki Mizuki watched on as her two guests continued to optimize around the pricing scheme. Perhaps she could mess with them a little.

"Alright. We'll take the Lovey Dovey Couple's overnight stay set." Tighnari handed over the money to Yumemizuki.

"Thank you for your patronage ~ Now could you please kiss to show that you are a lovey dovey couple?"

"No homo. Come here Tighnari. I'll give you a steamy experience. 50% off." Cyno spread his arms widely, inviting Tighnari in.

"Get away from me you sick pun obsessed freak."

Yumemizuki Mizuki clapped her hands and laughed as she interrupted their bickering.

"My ~ Just a joke, albeit a crude one ~ Come this way I'll lead you two to your room."

Tighnari sighed as he and Cyno ascended with Yumemizuki to their room.

"It's nice, they even have a outdoor bath at the balcony," said Cyno.

"I'll bring in an extra set of male toiletries ~ We already provide four sets of towels, but if you need more, don't hesitate to ask, we've got you covered ~"

Tighnari responded "Thanks, appreciate the - OH MY GOD!"

And so Cyno and Tighnari had a wonderful experience at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 14: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Alhaitham & Kaveh

"Tell me, why exactly are you following me all the damn way to Inazuma where I just happen to have a commission for work?!" vented Kaveh as he pointed a finger at a rather relaxed looking individual.

"In my eyes, you are the nuisance here. The scribe's office gave out a very clear notice that the Akademiya scribe will be out for vacation." retorted back Alhaitham.

"And said vacation just had to be in Inazuma?!"

"Why yes."

"What's next?! Next you'll tell me that you've booked the Aisa Bathhouse as accommodation."

Both Kaveh and Alhaitham continued their banter as they reached the front of the Aisa Bathhouse, and entered.

"Well what a surprise."

"I knew it..."

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~ Overnight stay for two? We have a 50% discount for couples."

"Nasty joke you have there miss... I'm Kaveh, the proprietor of Aisa Bathhouse commissioned me to design a new annex." exclaimed as he sighed.

"Oh, I'm Yumemizuki Mizuki, the one who put up that commission ~ Please wait a moment while I attend to this gentleman here."

"Alhaitham. I made a booking."

"Ah yes ~ Room number 2 ~ Do you need me to escort you to your room?"

"No need. Thanks." Alhaitham took the keys and went up to his room. Leaving Kaveh with Yumemizuki.

"Now where were we? The annex design commission yes?"

"Yup. Anyways, you wouldn't want to spend a second near Alhaitham. Man's got a real nasty personality."

"Oh my ~ Wouldn't have imagined that you two are roommates ~"

"Yeah... Wait how did you know?!" Kaveh took a step back at this sudden revelation.

"Hmm? I was just guessing ~ Didn't expect to get it right the 2nd time ~"

"What was the 1st time? Did you seriously think we were a couple?!"

"Let's look pass that ~ Let's get to business. Also you'll have a free room with access to our facilities for the duration of your work tenure ~ And we can reimburse your travel costs ~"

"T-Thank you very much miss Yumemizuki."

And so Alhaitham had a relaxing vacation, and Kaveh had a profitable commission fulfilled.

At a later time

"Wait, why's my room next to yours?!"

"Beats me, perhaps Miss Yumemizuki has a rather cruel sense of humour. Now quiet down, you're disturbing the other guests."

Chapter 15: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Citlali

To the proprietor of Aisa Bathhouse, my grandmother , Granny Itzli will be making a trip to Inazuma soon. She insisted on making a solo trip by herself and had booked your Aisa Bathhouse as accommodation under the name Citlali, but I worry for her wellbeing. Please do take care of Granny Itzli for me. She is expected to arrive by xx/xx/xx. I have attached some of my homegrown vegetable produce as a tribute. To help I have attached scroll that when burned, would allow you to read Granny Itzli's mind for 3 days. Signed, Ororon.

Yumemizuki Mizuki read the heartwarming letter that had a woven tapestry of Citlali's face and appraised the vegetables. High quality they were, later on she would pass them on to the chef, with instructions to label the dish as made with organically sourced foreign Natlan produce. Mayhaps she had access to another business partner. And she wouldn't ever pass on an opportunity to read minds, it was just too much of a boon.

Yumemizuki floated down to Ritou Harbour to meet Granny Itzli. It was fairly easy to spot a Natlander out from the crowd.

"Excuse me ~"

"???" [Uwaah!!! It's a real Youkai! She's even floating and everything and those pointed ears!]

Yumemizuki grinned slightly as she processed the information. This kind of mind reading, she could get used to it.

"Are you Citlali?"

"... Yes, I am..." [How does she know my name?! Could she be a great Youkai like in the light novels that know everything and anything?!]

"I am Yumemizuki Mizuki from the Aisa Bathhouse. A relative of yours informed me that you'd be visiting and asked me to help take care of you ~ Though I didn't expect to see such a pretty and youthful granny ~ Would you like me to help carry your luggage to the Aisa Bathhouse?"

"No need. But thanks..." [A relative? Must have been Ororon. I was already planning on getting him some Inazuman seeds for his farm but I'll throw in something extra then.]

Yumemizuki and Citlali made their way to the Aisa Bathhouse, pausing along the way to take pictures of local Inazumans sights.

Like a true weeb, Citlali gushed over very details. A Nekomata delivering parcels while jumping on roofs, an Oni causing a ruckus at a ramen store with a kunoichi lamenting by his side and a sultry looking dog girl.

"Is this your first trip outside of Natlan? Everything must seem beautiful ~"

"Y-Yes!" [Yes yes yes!]

"Did you bring a kamera? We could take some pictures ~"

"Yes!"

Citlali pulled out a kamera and began taking pictures of her surroundings, from the buildings to the mundane city life.

"Citlali, I meant taking a picture with both you and I together ~"

And then Citlali's mind exploded as she fumbled the camera for a selfie with Yumemizuki.

So the two made their way to the Aisa Bathhouse.

"You still have the promotion going on right? The one where guests can read Yae Publishing House materials for the duration of their stay?"

"Why yes ~ Please enjoy your time here and don't forget to use the hot springs too ~ By the way, the Guuji Yae will be dropping by soon ~ I could put in a good word for you to meet her ~"

"!!!"

And so Citlali had a fulfilling time at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 16: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Fischl & Oz

"Oz! Into the deep depths of elegance and luxury we shall partake in!"

"Watch your step mein Fräulein."

Fischl and Oz entered the Aisa Bathhouse, adding it to their demesne of landmarks graced by the Prinzessin der Verurteilung!

"Upon the darkest nights, I, Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort make mine most eminent and graceful entrance into the well of eternity, the fountain of eternal life!"

"If such compliments were reality ~ No doubt that the Aisa Bathhouse will rise to become more than just a humble bathhouse ~"

Yumemizuki Mizuki happily greeted the two as Fischl made her dramatic entrance, with a pose.

"The Adventurer's Guild has made a reservation for mein Fräulein under the name of Fischl." Oz said.

"Ah yes ~ I was the one who put in that commission ~ I never would have expected such an elegant and royal princess to take this commission ~"

"Surveying the lands of mine demesne is a duty a royal is bound to perform, the noblesse oblige and magnanimity of der Prinzessin der Verurteilung is 2nd to none!"

"Now ~ Let's enter the baths to begin the commission ~"

"???"

Fast forwarding a few minutes, Fischl was meekly stepping into the hot springs with a towel hastily wrapped around her body.

Yumemizuki was seen floating above the water line, waving over to Fischl and Oz to enter.

Well what was the commission? The commission was an experiment by Yumemizuki to try electrotherapy with her hot spring baths.

With Oz immersed in the waters, a slight electro undercurrent entered.

"Hmm... Interesting feeling, a little shocking but tolerable. Fischl ~ Could you please enter the bath and try out the water?"

"O-Okay! The Prinzessin der Verurteilung has heard your appeal and has granted it royal ascent!"

A mildly shocking sensation moved through Fischl's body. Combined with the warm hot spring waters, her body melted into the water as she felt her muscles be massaged and relaxed by the electro undercurrent and warmth of the hot springs.

"Mein Fräulein, that is not a face you should be making in public."

"This is pure blissssssssssss."

And so Fischl completed her commission, and Yumemizuki would slowly look for ways to implement special electrotherapy baths.

Chapter 17: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Emilie

Emilie looked up at her map and checked the location. Yes, she was in front of the Aisa Bathhouse, a newly established Inazuman bathhouse turned hotel that had taken the world by storm.

With the Sakoku Decree removed, the world of Inazuma was open to all, and well, for Emilie that meant a whole new market demographic and new organic fragrances and materials to work with.

Chiori had told her about the Aisa Bathhouse and recommended it, and for her to try out the premium bathing experience and attempt to secure the owner's attention as a footstep in Inazuma. Emilie wasn't about to brush off Chiori's advice, she'd been right more than just a few times.

With a small luggage and some perfume wares, she sprayed a little on herself and entered. Normally she wouldn't wear perfume, but this was a strategic exception to secure potential customers. Anyways she would wash it off later in the bath.

"Ara ~ Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~ My name is Yumemizuki Mizuki, one of the proprietors of the Aisa Bathhouse."

Yumemizuki Mizuki floated towards Emilie, greeting her.

"... What an interesting way of greeting. Likewise, my name is Emilie."

"Hehe ~ I like to keep my feet clean ~ Please peruse the catalogue ~"

Emilie went through the list, and chose an extendable overnight, she'd be here for a while after all, to collect Inazuman local specialties.

"By the way, about this premium bathing experience..."

"Ah ~ It's a special experience in our hot spring with an attendant ~ I happen to be available now ~ We could have some wine or incense to go along." Yumemizuki closed the distance.

"Then I'll take it."

"By the way, you smell really nice ~"

"Ah, yes. I'm wearing perfume. I also happen to be a perfumer, if you are interested..."

Yumemizuki let out a laugh.

"You happen to be pretty slick ~ Let us continue in the baths ~"

Yumemizuki and Emilie entered the baths, and Yumemizuki helped to undress Emilie. Feeling the the breaths of Yumemizuki on her bare skin sent Emilie tingling a little.

"!"

"Anything wrong miss Emilie ~ ?"

"N-No, it's just that your breaths are a little ticklish that's all."

As if on purpose, Yumemizuki began to smell Emilie's clothes as well.

"My, even your clothes smell nice ~"

Emilie, not one to be outdone, moved towards Yumemizuki and took a sniff. A pleasant undertone of bath salts.

"What a gentle scent..."

And so Emilie enjoyed a delightful stay at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 18: Interlude: Fontainian Gossip

"Alright, time to chair this information exchange -"

"Chevreuse, here's a souvenir from Inazuma. Some nice smelling bath salts." interrupted Emilie as she pushed a bag across the table to Chevreuse.

"O-Oh. Thanks. Now as I was -"

"How was the Aisa Bathhouse? The boss there is pretty pretty don't you think?" this time it was Chiori interrupting Chevreuse.

"Yes, I was a little flustered when she began sniffing me. Now I know how the feeling of breaths tingling on the skin feels like."

"Youkai can be a little different but that helped you to open business channels with her yes?"

Chevreuse slumped onto the table. All hopes of any serious discussion had been dashed away as the Perfumer and the Seamstress shared their wonderful experiences at the Aisa Bathhouse.

"... This Aisa Bathhouse, is it so amazing?" Chevreuse said.

"It felt like I was born again." said Emilie with Chiori nodding her head in agreement. Both ladies were radiant.

"You should take some paid time off and head there. Sauna's nice too. Ah I bet you'd love eating fast food in the hot springs."

"Eh. Unless some kind of joint security training exercise were to be organised with Inazuma, I don't see myself going."

"Y'know, I happened to overhear some 'gossip' about a potential, 'exchange' with Inazuma," Chiori said.

"Wait you can't be serious."

And soon Chevreuse recieved the official notice to head over to Inazuma for a "Joint Special Combined Arms Exercise" with Inazuma.

Chapter 19: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Chevreuse & Kujou Sara

Chevreuse never would have imagined that she would ever get sent to Inazuma as a Fontainian Attache for the 'Modernization of the Inazuman SDF' programme as part of bilateral relationship building.

Moreover, her good friends, Chiori and Emilie had pestered her to help deliver some goods to the Aisa Bathhouse. Something about using her as free shipping.

Chevreuse left Fontaine ahead of schedule to liaise with her Inazuman counterpart, a lady by the name of Kujou Sara.

"... This is an unusual quantity of perfume and clothing. I don't believe they are for personal use?" asked Sara as she processed Chevreuse at Ritou Harbour.

Chevreuse sighed as she handed over two receipts to Sara.

"Two associates of mine bothered me to deliver this for them. They've helped me keep the peace in Fontaine. I apologise."

"That's perfectly fine. Nothing illegal. The address is... The Aisa Bathhouse? Excellent, the Aisa Bathhouse is our scheduled accommodation for the duration of this attache programme."

"Our?"

"I, Kujou Sara, humble servant of the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder, will stay by your side for the duration of this modernization program. Please do not hesitate to contact me for anything."

"Ah..."

Yumemizuki Mizuki floated idly around the Aisa Bathhouse, she could expect two guests today as per a reservation done by the Tenryou Commission.

"Miss Yumemizuki, I'm entering." hollered out Sara as she entered with Chevreuse beside her.

"Ah ~ If it isn't Sara the Kujou Tengu ~ What may I do for you? And who's this cute girl you have here?"

"We have a reservation under the Tenryou Commission. This woman is Chevreuse, a special guest from Fontaine."

"Is that so ~ Then how about you bring her into the baths first? I'm sure she's tired from the long journey ~ I'll bring the luggage to the room."

"Oh and here's a delivery."

"Okay ~"

Entering the baths, Chevreuse took in the new foreign environment.

She scanned the interior as she undressed, a beautiful homely vibe and a equally dashing and beautiful woma-

"Chevreuse-dono? Is there anything on my body?"

"No, nothing at all. I just realised that you're very tall."

Sara scrutinised Chevreuse's figure and bent down to face Chevreuse.

"In war, I don't believe that height is all that important for a warrior."

"Thanks..." Chevreuse wanted to shoot herself.

"Chevreuse-dono, please turn around. I'll help scrub your back for you. In Inazuma it is customary for warriors to wash each other's backs."

And so Chevreuse and Sara spent a good teambuilding session at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 20: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Navia & Clorinde

"Clorinde, look! That's the Aisa Bathhouse right there! It look even grander with my own eyes than in Charlotte's photos!"

"Navia... You're being too loud. People are staring."

"Clorinde, smile a little!" A camera flashed as Clorinde. Navia skipped merrily to her and showed her the photo.

"Navia. Let's go." Clorinde grabbed Navia's hand and gently walked Navia through the front of the Aisa Bathhouse.

Yumemizuki Mizuki watched as two ladies with rather daunting hats enter her Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome, I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, one of the proprietors of the Aisa Bathhouse ~ An overnight room for two?" asked Yumemizuki.

"Yes! And aren't you the prettiest woman ever! If you ever open up a bathhouse in Fontaine do let me know!" Navia beamed.

"Lil 'ol me is delighted to be called pretty ~"

"Room for two. Plus the couple's discount." said Clorinde.

"C-Clorinde..."

"Spina funds are tight right? I'll cover our accommodation."

"My ~ No need to be so jealous ~ As you wish, I'll give you two the couple's discount. Maybe a little kiss is in order as proof?"

With Navia's hand still in hers, Clorinde brought it up to her lips and delivered a kiss, leaving behind a faint smear of lipstick as she locked eyes with Navia who abashedly turned her head away and let out a giggle.

"Enough?" asked Clorinde.

"More than enough ~ I think my heart leapt a little ~ Please follow me to your room ~"

And up the stairs they ascended.

"Navia."

"I can climb stairs myself perfectly fine yes!"

"We should have the next Tabletop Troupe game here."

"And now you change topics?!"

"..."

Yumemizuki opened the room and let both Clorinde and Navia in.

"Your room also features a personal bath ~ Both of you two can also enjoy the wonderful sight of Mt. Yougou from inside the bath. Enjoy your stay in the Aisa Bathhouse ~"

And so Clorinde and Navia enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 21: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Kuki Shinobu

Aisa Bathhouse Hospitality Training Course (Certification Provided) (Recognised by the Inazuman Shogunate) (High performers will have their fee waived ~)

Kuki Shinobu glanced by a poster and then stopped to ponder upon it. Another certification to add to her ever growing list of certifications wouldn't hurt. The only thing was that she wasn't particularly big on being waitstaff, but well, if it helps put the finances of the gang in the green and brighten her horizons, plus Inazuma was undergoing a tourism boom anyways, it would be good to build up her LinkedIn profile.

Shinobu made note of the details and headed in the direction of the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome ~ Ara, if it isn't the deputy leader of the Arataki Gang ~ How about a dip to relieve some work related stress?"

"Thanks for the offer, Miss Yumemizuki. However, I would like to apply for the Aisa Bathhouse Hospitality Training Course."

"Ah ~ Come this way ~ Knowing the stories about you I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours."

And then they both ended up in the bath somehow.

"Um, Miss Yumemizuki..."

"An important part of being hospitable is to look presentable ~ This includes having excellent hygiene with a refreshing scent. After this we'll get you into the Aisa Bathhouse uniform. Cleaning, room servicing, food safety and serving and other related elements we'll cover as well ~"

"Alright. Thank you. Anyways, this hot spring bath is really nice, it has been a while since I've managed to have a nice long soak like this that isn't cold."

A brief lingering silence as both women relaxed a while.

"Besides tending to guests, a lot of activities done at the Aisa Bathhouse is also behind the scenes. For example, the processing of food, cleaning of bed sheets and maintenance of our hot springs ~"

"Hmm, as expected, the activities of a professional ryokan bathhouse span quite the range."

"Exactly ~ Now that we have some new halls built that can be rented out, we can add event management to the agenda too. We're welcoming part-time employees too to add flexibility to our increasingly stretched workforce."

"That's nice. If the gang ever goes under I'll consider it, and if any of your events requires hard labour or a group of entertainers, feel free to contact me for the Arataki gang labour force. While we may not be the best crew in Inazuma, we afford an affordable and flexible negotiation range and will try our best to accommodate your needs."

"Noted ~ Still, you must really love the Arataki gang."

"... They're just a bunch of buffoons, a bunch of well meaning silly buffoons that allow me to live the way I want."

A rare soft smile grew on Shinobu's face.

"That's right, living a life you love is the best life."

"But well, I haven't given much thought to when I'll be older. Boss is okay, he's long lived since he's an Oni. But me and the others..."

"Hmm, maybe by then the Aisa Bathhouse would have expanded to open an elderly care centre."

"Awfully ambitious you are."

"This will sound pretentious coming from a long-lived Youkai like me, but it's fine to take your time. You're doing an excellent job and many people from all across Hanamizaka and Inazuma City are willing to lend you assistance when you need it, myself included ~"

"Thank you for the advice, and well, thanks."

"Want a hug? ~"

"Now you're making it awkward. ^{... Thanks though.} "

And so Kuki Shinobu completed the Aisa Bathhouse Hospitality Training Course, in due time the Arataki Gang would receive commissions to help set up event decorations in the rented event halls.

Chapter 22: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Kirara

"Miss Yumemizuki! Delivery!" the lively nekomata courier briskly entered the Aisa Bathhouse with a few parcels, and Yumemizuki Mizuki came down to greet her.

"Kiwawa! It's good to see you again, as always, thank you for all the timely deliveries ~"

"Ehehe, it's no big deal, now if you would, please give sign here and give me a 5 star rating!"

"Anything for you Kirara ~ Is this your last delivery for today?"

"Yup! I think I'll go eat some fish and head home!"

"Hmm, if you'd like, for your excellent service, I'll treat you to a special bathing experience at my Aisa Bathhouse ~"

"Nya?! I-I-I don't really like getting wet..."

"Kirara, as Youkai, we must stay hygienic y'know? You wouldn't want your package recipients complaining about smell right? I'll dry you up properly afterwards so don't worry about your tails or fur staying wet ~"

"N-No! Certainly not! But is it really okay? You're aren't busy or anything?"

"It's all okay ~"

A few moments later...

"Uwahhhh... If baths were like this then maybe getting myself wet isn't such a troublesome thing nyaa..."

"Hehe ~ who's a good kitten?" Yumemizuki held out a takoyaki ball and fed Kirara who happily chomped it down.

"Mmmm! Umai! Still, if I could float like you, then my paws wouldn't get so tired everyday."

"Live a few more centuries and maybe you'll be a great great Nekomata that can do just that ~ A few more tails would suit you ~"

Playfully, Yumemizuki poked at Kirara's tail.

"Nyaa!? Miss Yumemizuki, that's a sensitive spot, but hehe, yeah having more tails would be nice, maybe I can jump across two roofs instead of one!"

"Ara ~ Still thinking about Komaniya Express in the future?"

"Yup! My goal, is total Komaniya Express world domination! Hehe, just kidding." proclaimed Kirara as she pointed towards the sky.

"What a wonderful goal ~ Surely by then Komaniya Express will give a loyalty discount to the Aisa Bathhouse?"

"Hmm... If I become the boss then okay!"

"Ah ~" Yumemizuki held out another piece of takoyaki.

"Ahhhhhhh." and it entered the great beast's mouth.

"Good kitten ~"

"Wait, I should be feeding myself! Miss Yumemizuki! Gimme the plate!"

Yumemizuki calmly floated away from Kirara's hands, saving the food from a splash.

"Come on ~ this is a special time for you to relax ~"

"Geez! You and Chiori are always treating me like a baby cat!"

And so Kirara enjoyed a rejuvenating time at the Aisa Bathhouse, and later ate some fried fish and other stuff at the Aisa Bathhouse's dining hall.

 

Chapter 23: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Gorou

"Please! You've got to help me!" cried aloud Gorou as he lamented at the front desk of the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Ara ~ What exactly is the problem?"

"I've been writing some advice in this monthly magazine and agreed to a signing session, but that kitsune... The Guuji Yae! She's forcing me to wear this! Isn't this unacceptable?!"

Gorou held out a pretty looking kimono in front of Mizuki, who chuckled a little.

"Hmm ~ Whatever should we do..."

"Please! And she strong armed me into doing this signing session inside the bathhouse! Something about a joint venture with the Aisa Bathhouse."

"That is true ~ I'm expecting business to be great as lnazumans flock all over to the bathhouse for your autograph ~"

"Could you like, talk to the Guuji Yae for me? Please!"

"I have a better solution ~ Follow me."

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki led Gorou into the mixed baths.

"T-This is?!"

"There's no one in here for the time being as the mixed baths are being renovated at the moment ~ You can do the autograph session here."

"Um, how is this a solution?"

"I was getting to that ~"

Yumemizuki Mizuki manifested a sight obscuring cloud and pushed it over to obscure Gorou's figure.

"This way you can wear that kimono and not feel so embarrassed ~ It'll hide everything perfectly ~"

"But people will still be able to guess who I am with my voice once I step out!"

"Hmm, eat this cloud for me please ~"

Another cloud manifestation appeared and was gobbled by Gorou, whose voice immediately changed to that of a woman's.

"A-Amazing! This way no one will ever know."

"Now the signing session can continue right? And your identity will be preserved ~"

"Yeah, I'd rather not do this... But for the sake of Watatsumi's continued future with the Shogunate, I have no choice but to give into the whims of the devillish Guuji."

And so Ms. Hina Gorou held a signing session that was immensely successful at the Aisa Bathhouse without exposing himself.

Chapter 24: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Furina

As per recommendations from her loyal friends and former subjects, Furina had arrived at the Aisa Bathhouse for a week long stay in Inazuma City.

She had had nightmares of the past for the past few weeks, and hoped that the famed bathhouse would help.

Her first few nights were blissful and peaceful, but the nightmares had returned.

With a flash of lightning and the roaring boom of thunder, Furina was jolted awake from her nightmare to the deafening throes of heavy rain outside.

"This weather isn't helping. Geez! Even though everything is all over already..."

The salon members huddled around Furina as they wiped away the tears welling at her eyes, and the singer of many waters illuminated a soft radiant blue as Furina curled up under the blanket.

And then a knock from the door, and the familiar voice of the friendly attendant came.

"Dear Furina, may I enter?"

"... You may." with a soft voice Furina said, and Gentilhomme Usher opened the door for Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"I humbly apologise for this weather. The Aisa Bathhouse is serving some night tea for those affected."

Furina propped herself up and accepted the tea.

"You needn't do this, but some night tea wouldn't hurt."

"Thank you for your kind words, lady Furina, how has your stay here been?"

"It has been a blissful few days, the novel food and experience in Inazuma City is wonderful."

"By the way, I couldn't help but overhear some distressed cries just now," Mizuki mentioned.

"... I have been having nightmares lately, of a troublesome past."

"Of the Fontainian deluge?"

"... It's over already, but yet, I keep on thinking back, if the deluge came to wash away everything."

...

"Lady Furina, I may come off as rude by asking, but in your nightmares, were you perhaps reminded of the powerlessness you felt during your lonely centuries? I am not so acquainted with contemporary Fontainian history, so do forgive me."

"Maybe, I am not so sure of myself either," Furina stared at her reflection in the teacup.

"Though I believe that if anything like that were to happen again, you wouldn't be alone yes? Lady Furina, you gave your citizens much needed hope and courage in those trying times, even if you were unsure of the outcome, that itself is a beautiful message that most Fontainians I've met have come to hold. And through the deluge, a newfound optimism that any adversity can be overcome."

Furina chuckled a little.

"Well, I am the Furina of course. And, thanks for your kind words."

"With a spirit as strong as yours, I'm sure these nightmares will come to pass. Would you like a dango skewer?"

"Ah, yes please."

And so Furina enjoyed her vacation in Inazuma and her stay at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 25: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Yun Jin & Xinyan

"Ya know, it feels great to perform with you, and we're gonna share a room tonight!" exclaimed Xinyan as she excitedly pointed at the grand facade of the Aisa Bathhouse.

"I've always thought that there was place for both rock'n'row and opera to combine into one magnificent work of art. Thankfully we've managed to do it. And thanks for agreeing to join the troupe's special rock ballad world tour," replied Yun Jin sweetly as she removed a sakura petal that had landed on Xinyan's head.

And so both performers entered into the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome welcome ~ Visitors from afar, would you like a room for two?" greeted Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"We have a reservation under the Yun-Han Opera Troupe," said Yun Jin

"Ah yes ~ Welcome to Inazuma for your tour ~ I've bought tickets too."

"Aww, thanks! Means the world to us!" Xinyan happily rubbed her head.

"Now, without further ado, let's get you two into the baths. You all must have had a long journey here."

A group of lesser yumekui baku appeared and ferried away the luggage to their reserved room as Mizuki ushered both Xinyan and Yun Jin into the hot spring baths.

____ A few moments later _____

"Even without make up you still look so pretty!" exclaimed Xinyan as she held Yun Jin's face with her hands.

"Haha, I make sure to take care of my face, it's important for opera performances you know?"

With her long hair tied into a neat bun, Yun Jin sipped from a floating cup of tea.

"And one of the important ways to maintain good skin health is to have a healthy sleep schedule," added on Mizuki as she refilled their floating tea cups, with Yun Jin nodding on on agreement.

"Still, it's a bit embarrassing being together like this haha!" Xinyan took her own sip of tea.

"Hmm? We'll be sleeping together tonight and I'll get to know if you snore later."

"I-I don't snore, I think? Putting that aside, are there any spare rooms we can use to practice?"

"At our Aisa Bathhouse, we have several open event halls ~ Feel free to write in a slot for yourselves in the logbook ~ Truth be told, I'm also interested in your songs."

"Well, I've greatly enjoyed the bathhouse so far, so I can sing a small teaser just for you,"

Yun Jin sang a small verse from Crimson Pierces the Twillight, with Xinyan providing some adlib voiced harmony.

And so Yun Jin and Xinyan had a wonderful time at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 26: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Hu Tao, Xiangling, Xingqiu & Chongyun

"Party for four?" asked Yumemizuki Mizuki as she registered her four new guests.

"Yup! Would you happen to have two adjacent double deluxe rooms with a shared door in between?" asked Hu Tao.

"We do ~ Room 121 and 122 for you four. Our staff will move your luggage into your rooms, why not head straight into the hot spring baths?"

____ A few moments later, in the mixed bath section ____

HT (Hu Tao: Uwaaaaaa! What nice waters... Would people be interested in a post-mortem bathing course?"

XQ: I'd wager that the water would turn to breed mosquitoes before you get any potential buyers.

XL: A little hotter and maybe we can make soup with this water temperature.

CY (Chongyun): It's a shame I can't join you three over in the hot springs.

Over in the mizuburo cold bath section, Chongyun called out.

XQ: Let this most gallant individual join you in the cold bath then.

Xingqiu stepped out of the hot spring baths and went into the mizuburo cold bath with Chongyun.

CY: Not going to join us?

HT: Bleeh, I don't do too well with the cold. Xiangling! Let's go to the sauna!

XL: Ehh? Let me seep in here a while longer huhuhu

HT: Fineeeeee, we can push the sauna thing a few minutes later then. Xingqiu, Chongyun, wanna join?

XL: Hu Tao, I don't think Chongyun can even last a second in the sauna...

XQ: Chongyun in a sauna huh, interesting proposition.

CY: You are NOT dragging me into the sauna.

HT: Oya? 'Fraid of fainting? We can carry you out if that happens and revive you in the cold bath.

CY: The fact that you've already considered me fainting is proof of your pranks at play...

A hearty laughter erupted from everyone as Chongyun sighed.

XL: Hmm, you know, I heard from Yun Jin & Xinyan the other day that this bathhouse can serve some food in the baths.

XQ: Tea would go well, as for the type of foods, perhaps sweets.

XL: Yes, fried foods would get soggy pretty quickly, unless you're interested in soggy foods.

CY: Hmm, some cold noodles would go well I believe. Ah, a popsicle or ice cream would be nice.

XQ: Hmm, having a popsicle, which is essentially a block of ice in the cold bath I'm in right now... Just the thought of it is giving me brain freeze and frostbite.

HT: On the other hand, imagine eating the spiciest Wanmin dish here...

CY: We'd sooner die of heat exhaustion that way. I don't believe anyone could stomach that...

And so Hu Tao, Xiangling, Chongyun and Xingqiu enjoyed their overseas outing at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 27: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Hu Tao, Xiangling, Xingqiu & Chongyun 2

In the Aisa Bathhouse, especially in the ryokan room section, there exists an urban legend about a ghost.

HT: "At 3AM, if you chant a certain phrase repeatedly, a ghostly apparition will descend upon you and put you to sleep!" said Hu Tao as she made grand spooky gestures.

XQ: "Is that why you had to wake us up at this horrible hour? For ghost hunting?" languished Xingqiu as he rubbed opened his eyes.

XL: "Usually I'd wake up this time too to go grocery shopping for the restaurant... But I'd like to sleep in today..." mumbled Xiangling.

CY: "Still, we've only been here for a day and you've already acquainted yourself with the local rumours, plus I don't sense any spirits around," Chongyun crossed his arms as he looked around.

HT: Geez, what was the phrase again? Mee Tsuki?

XQ: Mee Tsuki? I've read that that would translate to Tsuki Noodles in a dialect.

"Did you call?" from a corner, Yumemizuki Mizuki floated out.

XL: Uwaah?! A gho-

YM: Shh... Keep your voice down, you'll disturb the other patrons.

CY: Hmm? You're the receptionist that checked us in right?

YM: My name is Yumemizuki Mizuki, one of the proprietors of the Aisa Bathhouse. Now what are you four doing up at this hour?

HT: Ah, I understand now... The urban legend about a ghost appearing if you say Mee Tsuki..."

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki explained and cleared up the urban rumour about a ghost roaming around the Aisa Bathhouse, and Hu Tao, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Chongyun went back to sleep.

Chapter 28: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Shenhe

Shenhe peeked through the front entrance of the Aisa Bathhouse, looking inside.

"Hi ~ Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse, my name is Yumemizuki Mizuki." the ever receptive coproprietor, Yumemizuki Mizuki, bid hello to her pale haired guest.

Shenhe walked in, going up to the front counter.

"This is the Aisa Bathhouse right?"

"? Yes ~ This is the Aisa Bathhouse ~."

"I have booking."

"Under whose name?" asked Mizuki as she flipped open a logbook.

"Shenhe."

"Shenhe, Shenhe... Ah yes. 3 days of the premium bathhouse overnight stay set. The bathhouse staff will bring your luggage to your room, in the meanwhile, you must be tired from your journey from Liyue right? Let's get you into the hot spring baths ~"

"I'm not tired exactly, but the hot spring baths sound nice. I'll go. Thank you."

Mizuki led Shenhe into the personal section of the bathhouse and went to light some relaxing incense and retrieve some tea and light snacks, when she returned though, she was treated to the sight of Shenhe, who while was bare now, had her red ropes tied around her body.

"... Um... Dear Shenhe?"

"Ah, my master gave me these red ropes in order to restrain my impulses. I am afraid I am unable to remove them. Sorry."

"I-It's okay ~ You may head into the hot spring first. I'll bring some light refreshments soon."

Shenhe nodded and walked in while Mizuki collected her thoughts.

Ropes tied around her body... Master... Impulses... Mizuki blushed a little as she approached, and curiosity entered her mind as Shenhe filled her thoughts.

"Ah. Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki."

"You may call me Mizuki."

"Mizuki."

"Yes ~ Have some tea."

"Thank you."

"By the way, you mentioned your master just now, are they coming later?"

"I don't think so. I am here on a solo vacation. Master recommended me to take some time off for myself."

"Ara, how has your vacation been so far?"

"Inazuma City is nice. I am enjoying it."

"That's great ~"

"Master encouraged me to go out to experience the world and maybe make a friend or two along the way."

"That sounds nice, your master must care about you a lot."

"Yes."

"... Do you want me to be your friend?"

"Thank you."

And so Shenhe enjoyed her solo vacation, and gained a new faraway friend.

Chapter 29: Aisa Bathhouse: 3rd Interview with Charlotte

Good day everyone! This is Charlotte and I am once again outside the Aisa Bathhouse!

The Aisa Bathhouse is located in Tenryou, in the bustling commercial street of Inazuma City. It is a communal bathhouse for Inazumans, exotic hotel for foreign guests (like me!), psychotherapy centre for the mentally impaired and so much more.

Let's go in and meet one of the co-proprietors!

"Hello, I am Yumemizuki Mizuki ~ You may call me Mizuki."

Miss Mizuki, that uniform you're wearing, it looks very cute!

"Thank you ~ Recently we have had these uniforms custom made with the help of Chioriya Boutique. Functional and waterproof, these uniforms are worn with pride by us bathhouse workers ~"

Then, let's check out one of the vacant rooms! To give incoming guests an idea of what's in store!

Mizuki and Charlotte enter a vacant room.

"In the Aisa Bathhouse we have many rooms, but our most popular one is the single room for an overnight stay ~ The floor of all of our rooms are tatami, soft and comfortable, you can even lie on it if you want ~ Ah, remember to change into the provided slippers ~"

Miss Mizuki, what are those clothes hanging there? And this entire room smells really pleasant!

"These are fashionable yukata ~ In the Aisa Bathhouse you may don these comfortable attires on ~ Charlotte, how about I help you change into one?"

Ehhh?!

Charlotte changed into a yukata with the help of Mizuki.

T-This is super comfy! And soft!

"And to answer your other question, soft calming and relaxing perfumes are sourced from Emilie's perfumery to further boost the ambience ~ At this point, most guests would be ready to enter the hot springs, so Charlotte, let us make our way ~"

Ah... Thank you! So, Mizuki, the Aisa Bathhouse is famed for its relaxing hot spring baths, both indoors and outdoors, guests will wonder how clean the water is.

"The waters used in our hot spring onsens come from Mt. Yougou, adequately purified and sanctified by the Grand Narukami Shrine, all who bath in the Aisa Bathhouse are graced with fortune and are blessed. In addition, our bathhouse has dedicated water cleaners and we conduct regular maintenance on the hot springs here."

Mizuki led Charlotte into the outdoor onsen.

Wow! So this is the outdoor onsen! Looks at the falling snow adorning the stone perimeter of the hot springs!

"Beautiful isn't it? And when you step into the hot spring baths, you'll also emerge a more beautiful individual ~ Speaking of which, I haven't told you about the psychotherapy here yet."

Ah, yes. I believe many people all across the world are wondering how all of this leads to psychotherapy.

"Well, the details are a little complicated, but we hope that the bathhouse environment can provide a safe place for people to unwind and relax, and have ample space to socialise and feel comfortable as well. As a yumekui-baku youkai, I happen to come across many dreams every day. Some are sad, some are happy, some are downright terrifying."

Oh my, but how do dreams relate to psychotherapy?

"I come from an older generation of therapists ~ believing that dreams can offer a window into the unconscious and preconscious mind, but rest assured, we will do our best to help lead everyone who enter our humble halls, just approach one of our workers here, or head into the treatment annex if you're a little shy."

Is this psychoanalysis or psychotherapy haha?

"Hmm, perhaps a mix of both ~ Anyways, Charlotte, are you hungry? Let us check out the dining hall~"

Chapter 30: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Beidou, Ningguang & Yelan

"To think that you would dare to invite the Yanshang teahouse woman here with us." spoke aloud Beidou.

"What's the problem? I remember you complaining about how our chess matches have been getting stale," replied Ningguang in a joking manner.

"Chess is a two player game... How about you say something, Miss Yanshang?"

"Hmm? Don't mind me, I'm just here to spend my vacation, and my name is Yelan, by the way." replied Yelan.

"And your vacation just happened to coincide with ours huh."

"Coincidences happen more often than you'd imagine, Captain Beidou,"

"Hmm, I thought you two would have hit it off immediately, we're here. The Aisa Bathhouse," remarked Ningguang.

And so Beidou, Ningguang and Yelan arrived at the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~ If it isn't the Tianquan of Liyue, thank you for your generous patronage," with a bow, Yumemizuki Mizuki welcomed the trio as a troop of fellow bathhouse workers bowed.

"*whistles*, this sure is something," remarked Beidou.

"One special custom premium triple bedroom set yes?" confirmed Mizuki, to which Ningguang confirmed back.

"To share a room with the lady Tianquan, what an honour," quipped Yelan.

"You can drop the act here, we're adequately far away from Liyue, plus we go all the way back anyways, Yelan," responded Ningguang.

"Wait, are we seriously going to play three player chess? How does that even work?"

Mizuki giggled a little as she clapped her hands.

"Alright, you three must have had a long journey here ~ We will move your luggage into your room. How about a meal first in our dining hall? Or a long soak in the hot springs? Or would you like..."

"Hot spring first, then the meal."

"As you wish ~"

And so Beidou, Ningguang and Yelan spent a long and relaxing time at the Aisa Bathhouse. And played many chess matches together.

Chapter 31: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Collei & Sucrose

 "... We're here," said Sucrose, looking at the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Yeah... It looks exactly like in the photos," replied Collei as she held out a picture of the bathhouse.

"Should we go in?"

"Sure..."

Both Collei and Sucrose walked into the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Excuse me..." said both Sucrose and Collei as they stepped in.

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~" said Yumemizuki Mizuki as she took a look at her two new incoming guests.

"Is this the Aisa Bathhouse?" asked Collei.

"Yes ~ Do you two have a prior booking?"

"Ah under the name Sucrose," replied Sucrose with Collei nodding along.

Flipping through the logbook, Yumemizuki verified the reservation and had Sucrose sign in a column to confirm.

"Hmm... It must have been a long journey here, we'll bring up your luggage to your room, would you like to soak in our hot spring baths? Or have a meal in the dining hall? Or would you like to rest in your rooms first?" asked Mizuki.

Both Sucrose and Collei looked at each other and discussed a little.

"Um, we'll go our rooms first."

"And we'll handle our own luggage, please..."

"As you wish ~ Enjoy your stay here~"

Some moments later...

"Ummm! Miss!" called out Sucrose to Mizuki. Both Sucrose and Collei had now changed into the Aisa Bathhouse provided lounge yukatas.

"Hmm? How may I help you two?"

"W-We would like to ask you some questions! L-Like what kind of special human you are. It's for a special report I'm writing. If that is okay with you..."

Both of Sucrose and Collei's earnest eyes, combined with their little notebooks that they'd taken out pierced through Mizuki's heart.

"If you're okay with me ~ I'll be happy to take you up ~ You may call me Mizuki."

And so Sucrose and Collei interviewed Yumemizuki about her Youkai background, and spent a relaxing time at the Aisa Bathhouse. Both would also collect some local Inzumans materials for their specific research interests

Chapter 32: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Eula & Yanfei

Yanfei disembarked from the ship at the Inazuman port of Ritou. She stretched and took in the sight of Inazuma, and spotted a certain blue-haired Mondstadt Knight busy checking a map amongst the crowd of people disembarking, and then walked up towards her.

"Eula! It's a pleasure to see you here!"

"Yanfei?" a smile grew across Eula's mouth, "What brings you all the way to Inazuma?"

"I could say the same for you. I am here on vacation, as the top legal consultant in Liyue, it is imperative I set adequate work-life boundaries for everyone who looks up to me."

"Hmph! Then we are the same, I have been ordered away by my superior for mandatory leave, something about not overworking me. For this I'll have vengeance, eventually."

The two laughed a little, and then the rain started pouring suddenly, causing Yanfei to sneeze, and for Eula to brandish out a handkerchief for her and an umbrella. In a sudden turn of coincidences, both had decided to stay at the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse ~ Room for two? Or do you have a prior booking?" said Yumemizuki Mizuki

"I have a prior booking under my name Yanfei, Eula?"

"No, I opted to wing it this time."

"Since you two are acquainted, perhaps I can upgrade Ms Yanfei's room into the deluxe room? If you two are okay with it of course ~ It'll be much cheaper than getting a new room for yourself."

"I don't mind, plus I'll get to repay one of the many favours that I have accumulated from you, Eula."

"Hmph, I'll have vengeance eventually."

"Is vengeance some kind of code word for thank you? You're kind of interesting and cute, Eula."

"H-Hmph!"

"Okay ~ Would you like to apply the couple's discount for half pricing?"

"... We're aren't a couple though? It's okay Eula, I'll cover the extra cost, consider it a favour repaid."

"So she says ~ Ms Eula," remarked Yumemizuki Mizuki as she turned to face Eula.

"If Yanfei says so, then I'll graciously accept her offer."

Yanfei pushed over the extra mora needed for the top up.

"Thank you for your patronage ~ We'll take up your luggage to your room, in the meanwhile, why not enjoy the Aisa Bathhouse's hot springs? The dining hall is currently open for tea as well."

"Let's take the baths first Yanfei, I'll need to avenge the previous transgression by scrubbing your back clean of dirt."

"Hahaha! Could I trouble you to scrub my antlers for me then?"

"Hmph! Prepare yourself!"

And so Eula scrubbed Yanfei.

 

Chapter 33: Interlude: Mondstadt Delegation

Knock knock

"Captain Eula, welcome back from vacation," said acting grandmaster Jean, who had Lisa beside her.

"Your skin looks even more radiant haha, Captain Eula," teased Lisa.

"Hmph! For giving me such a wonderful vacation, I'll have vengeance eventually. By the way, I brought a letter from Inazuma," Eula replied.

Jean opened the letter and read it aloud, it was an invitation from Inazuma's Yashiro Commission. Its purpose was to deepen bilateral ties and exchange culture, inviting a party from Mondstadt to visit Inazuma.

"Hmm..."

"Jean, you should go. There is no better person than the acting grandmaster to represent Mondstadt," said Lisa.

"But... Mondstadt will have to be taken care of."

"To avenge the transgression you've inflicted upon me (the mandatory vacation), I shall repay you in full and usurp the administration of Mondstadt. Mark my words! And ask this Yashiro Commission to book the Aisa Bathhouse as accomodation."

"Just leave the city to Kaeya, Eula and I," Lisa placed a hand on Jean's shoulder and reassured her.

"... Alright then. Who should I bring with me then? I suppose for cultural exchange we can bring along Venti the bard."

"Albedo was hustling for more Inazuman alchemy materials, bring him along then. Maybe we can get the Dawn Winery in," added in Eula.

"And get that Katzlein cutie too! The juxtaposition of the serious Diluc and the adorable Diona is too hard to pass up."

"Hmm, the party is shaping up to be adequately large enough. Though we still have some available rooms, this Yashiro Commission is even offering to sponsor the entire trip."

"Set up a special lottery then and see who wins it haha."

Chapter 34: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Diona

Yumemizuki Mizuki was in a delightful mood, the Aisa Bathhouse had been chosen as official accomodation for an incoming Mondstadt delegation. Moreover, said delegation would hold an exhibition showcasing the finest of Mondstadt's alcohol in one of Aisa Bathhouse's ryokan event halls.

And yes, for the next few days the bathhouse would hit new profit heights as people all across the world flocked to the exhibition.

As one of the Aisa Bathhouse's proprietors, Mizuki could easily be first in line, and so she was as she oversaw the exhibition being set up. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a feline girl, most likely way too young to even hold her own drink, mixing some cocktails with rather peculiar ingredients.

"Hello ~"

"Ah! You're the woman that greeted us at the bathhouse entrance! Ummm, your name was..."

"You can call me Mizuki ~"

"Mizuki. Got it," said Diona as she repeated Mizuki's name in hushed tones.

"And your name is Diona, right?"

Diona nodded.

"Forgive me if I'm being rude, but aren't you a little too young to serve wine and cocktails?" asked Yumemizuki Mizuki as she glanced over Diona's work station which had an entire array of weird ingredients, ranging from animal fur to butterfly wings.

"I'm going to send the reputation of this horrible alcohol industry plummeting all the way down! By sabotaging it from the inside. That way daddy will stop drinking."

Mizuki's usually relaxed eyes widened slightly at Diona's comment.

"Diona, is your daddy always drinking?"

"Not all the time, but in his free time, he just drinks and drinks and ARGHHHHH. He never spends time with me, always away drinking. When I tell him to stop and whatever, he just ignores me! And he's saying things like I'm just in my rebellious phase. I swear, I'm the only one with their brain screwed on in Mondstadt!"

"So all these interesting looking ingredients, are you planning on mixing something horrible tasting?"

"Yup! Though... people always tell me that what I make is delicious and keep on asking for more! I can't believe them! They must be lying to me and making fun of me."

Mizuki looked at the glass that Diona was holding which was a peculiar rainbow colour and pondered on if she should try a glass, before she could finish thinking, Diona had handed her the same glass and asked her to give a try.

"Drink up! And never drink too much or else you'll get stupid!"

Well Youkai had ever so slightly better constitutions, so a little sip of this mysterious fluid wouldn't hurt, right? However, instead of a horrible concoction, Mizuki instead tasted the most smooth and exquisite tasting cocktail her tongue had tasted.

"Hmm, this is rather interesting ~"

"D-Does it taste horrible?"

"Unfortunately, I'll be honest and say that this is the best tasting cocktail I've had in a while."

Diona slumped down in disappointment, as she proceeded to mix another cocktail with even stranger ingredients. To Mizuki, it wouldn't be too farfetched to asume that Diona had been blessed to always make good cocktails.

"Diona, is your daddy here? If possible I would like to speak with him ~"

"Daddy isn't here, he's back in Mondstadt. But you can talk to Jean and Diluc. But be careful of Diluc! He's the owner of the Dawn Winery that makes all the wine that daddy likes to drink!"

"Okay ~ Diona, I wish you success in destroying the alcohol industry. I have a feeling your stall will be crowded later on so if you feel tired, just come and find me, okay?"

"Okay miss Mizuki!"

Diona waved Mizuki goodbye, as Mizuki floated off to the Dawn Winery's exhibition section.

Chapter 35: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Diluc

Yumemizuki Mizuki looked for the Dawn Winery exhibition stall that was being set up in one of the Aisa's Bathhouse's event halls, and quickly found it.

"Dear Diluc ~ Is now a good time?"

"Hmm? The stall is about done so yes. We have a catalogue available for supply pricing schemes if necessary. We are also selling high quality grape juice now, here's a cup, for you."

Diluc poured a glass of grape juice for Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"My, this tastes excellent ~ Would the Dawn Winery be kind enough to grant a discount for continued loyalty and purchases?"

"I'll discuss it with my other staff first. Anyways, is there anything else you'd like?"

"This may seem a little rude, but I'd like to talk to you about Miss Diona."

"Ah, the feline bartender. What is it?"

"I'm worried about her a little. She mentions her father neglecting her due to drinking..."

Diluc sighed.

"I'll talk to our acting grandmaster about this, and look into sending a sternly worded letter and a visit to Diona's father."

"Is alcoholism rampant in Mondstadt?"

"I would say people drink a little too much. I am not a fan of alcohol, but in free and fair Mondstadt, people are free to do what they want and drink whenever they please."

"Hmm, I understand."

"I didn't expect one of the Aisa Bathhouse owners to worry over this."

"I just want miss Diona to have happy dreams ~"

"A worthwhile endeavour. I wish you success. And thank you for the incredible experience so far at the Aisa Bathhouse. If you are in need of capital to open a branch in Mondstadt, please write."

"Will do ~ See you later."

"And, tell acting grandmaster Jean to rest herself... She's pushing herself too much this trip. Goodbye."

Chapter 36: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Jean

Jean furrowed her eyebrows as she recalled her schedule for the day. She, as the acting grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius was in Inazuma to build relations and establish better cultural and trade ties.

In two hours, I'll have a meeting with the Yashiro Commission, and then I'll need to perform my best during the sword sparring show match, and tomorrow I'll need to renegotiate the alcohol tariffs -

"Hello, Jean," spoke Yumemizuki Mizuki as she broke Jean's train of thought.

"Ah... Mizuki. Thank you once again for accommodating us, I have heard nothing but good praises about the Aisa Bathhouse from the rest of my delegation."

"It is our pleasure to serve, do you have free time now?"

"In two hours I have a meeting with the Yashiro Commission, and after that a customary sword sparring match with the eminent commissioner."

"Would you like to seep in the hot spring baths for a while?"

"I was thinking of reading about some of the contemporary issues to better grasp the political landscape here in Inazuma,"

"Hmm, if you'd like, we can discuss this over in the hot spring baths ~ A lot of information passes through my ears as the Aisa Bathhouse owner, plus I am a little older than most people here despite my appearance."

"Is this some kind of ploy to get me into the hot spring baths?"

"Take a guess ~ But I am privy to some details that books and newspapers can't publish,"

"Such as?"

"Various social cues in Inazuma aren't noted down in books, since they're passed down through families and households here. Let us enter the private hot springs first, okay?"

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki led Jean into the hot spring baths, and both of them immersed their bodies into the warm waters.

"... This is nice, I can feel my fatigue fading away,"

"Exactly, can you turn your head towards mine?" asked Yumemizuki.

Jean did so, and came to look at Mizuki's face.

"???"

"Hmm, I am going to touch your face, okay?"

Mizuki held out her hands and beheld Jean's face as Jean acquiesced with a mild fidget.

"As expected, you haven't been sleeping properly, right? Acting grandmaster Jean." Mizuki began to rub and massage Jean's face.

"...Thewe's swill a lut to do evweryday,"

"I'm sure you have plenty of capable colleagues, so, please learn to delegate work to at least have a proper sleep every night, and, abstaining from coffee temporarily will return its efficacy,"

"Ogei... Wait, how did u knov?"

"... The distinct smell of coffee breath isn't alien to me ~ I'll brush your teeth before you meet the Yashiro Commissioner, okay?"

"O-Ogei..." an embarrassed Jean resigned herself to Mizuki's caring session.

And so Jean had her body adequately relaxed and rested with Mizuki's help.

Chapter 37: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Venti

Yumemizuki Mizuki roamed the halls of the Aisa Bathhouse, it was adequately late at night, late enough for most of the guests to be sleeping already.

However, a certain windborne bard from Mondstadt could be found idling away at the dining hall, which had swapped to offering late night supper with some alcohol.

"Ah! Mizuki, care for a drink?" spoke out Venti as he held out a cup of sake.

"Venti ~ It's okay, I'll leave more sake for you to have tonight."

"Hehe, thank you. Hey, as the owner of the Aisa Bathhouse, I'm sure you have some interesting stories to tell right?"

"Hmm? I'm just a humble bathhouse owner."

"I was thinking, of maybe writing a new song, or blending one of my mine with Inazuman hues for the performance tomorrow, I'm here to help boost cultural ties right?"

"I suppose I can tell you some stories about my kind, the yumekui baku."

Yumemizuki Mizuki narrated a short tale about yumekui baku to Venti, about their nightmare eating powers too.

"Eating nightmares to grant people happier dreams, sounds lovely. Hehe, I think I know what kind of song I'll sing tomorrow," Venti twirled his braids as he happily took another sip of sake.

"What kind of song will you sing tomorrow?" asked Mizuki.

"Hehe, it'll be a song about a yumekui baku, a very greedy yumekui baku that wants to eat all the nightmares in the world. This very greedy yumekui baku would eat so many nightmares in a night that they'd barf it out when they're full to eat more!"

Mizuki blinked twice and then chuckled. "And then?"

"Hmm, the yumekui baku would grow tired, but still want to eat all the nightmares in the world, and so the heavens would bestow a gift to the yumekui baku, so that it could fly and float to all the nightmares, and so that it could be ever spirited and energetic to continue its task. For if the world is to be so hard to live in, the yumekui baku hopes that dreams and sleep can be their refuge of the living."

"What a wonderful story, I'm sure all the yumekui baku all over Inazuma would be delighted to hear this song. I sure am ~"

"Hehe, so, pray tell, do you plan to open an Aisa Bathhouse branch in Mondstadt? The hotsprings here are truly divine, enough to melt away worries and fears, roping people into the present to relax."

"In the future, perhaps," smiled Mizuki.

And so Venti enjoyed his stay at the Aisa Bathhouse as part of the Mondstadt delegation.

Chapter 38: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Thoma

Thoma, you are to assist the Aisa Bathhouse with its operations for the duration of the Mondstadt Delegation. Specific assistance has been requested from them for a child caretaker.

And so Thoma moved into the Aisa Bathhouse as a temporary employee under Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"Thoma, housekeeper of the Kamisato Clan reporting in for duty," said Thoma as he stood in front of Mizuki.

"Send my thanks to the Yashiro Commissioner ~ The extra help is appreciated," replied Mizuki.

"Anyways, they're bringing over a child?"

"Two I believe. One is a cat feline girl, another is an elf girl, despite their youth, both are listed as important people in Mondstadt society and culture."

"Got it, anything I can help with around the bathhouse?" Thoma eyed around, he found the bathhouse ryokan to be relatively spotless and clean, no doubt the Aisa Bathhouse had put a lot of effort into cleanup.

Mizuki giggled a little.

"This is just my own speculation, but maybe the Yashiro Commissioner has purposefully sent you here for vacation and leave,"

"Hahaha, on paper I still have to provide assistance to the Bathhouse, and it is also an excellent opportunity to make new contacts for the Clan with Mondstadt officials."

"Yes, and it's also a great opportunity to make new friends and brush up with old ones, now, you can check the rooms for the Mondstadt Delegation and give us some suggestions for furnishing," requested Mizuki.

"That I can do, no problem."

"And make sure to check out the hot springs baths~"

"You mean to clean them or..."

"Hmm, go and relax first. You can talk to one of our onsen cleaners and learn how to operate and clean the onsens, maybe we can discuss and put a private onsen in the Kamisato Household ~"

And so Thoma became temporary staff for the Bathhouse.

Chapter 39: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Kamisato Ayato

"Good evening, miss Yumemizuki Mizuki," spoke out Kamisato Ayato as he entered the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Ah, good evening to you too, most eminent Yashiro Commissioner, I, Yumemizuki Mizuki bid," Mizuki replied politely with a bow.

"For now, let us skip the formalities. I want a bath. Private and personal with an attendant, maybe some tea or light sweets to go along too."

"Alright ~ However, much of our staff is currently busy, I am afraid we might not be able to accommodate you fully."

"Ah, such a shame. No matter, Thoma will join me then, let me send out a messenger bird for him. Unless..."

Ayato watched Mizuki's face, the serene Youkai was ever relaxed and smiling as she tilted her head slightly with a grin.

"Hmm... I don't mind. If you would, please put this blindfold on then."

" *Ahem , I was just jesting."

"Please put this blindfold on," repeated Yumemizuki Mizuki with an even wider grin and smirk on her face. She would claim victory over the Yashiro Commissioner.

"Now this is a rather, novel experience..." remarked a blindfolded Ayato. He could see nothing, but could feel everything. The warm relaxing waters, the minute sounds of tea being poured and the old scent of incense all seemed to be ever so slightly more pronounced.

"When the sense of sight is removed, the other senses are enhanced. I believe it adds to the experience no?"

"Well, yes. However... Never mind. I trust that you wouldn't do anything untoward."

Mizuki gently pushed a floating wooden tray, which came into contact with Ayato's arm.

"Have some tea~"

"Mmm... where is the cup... I can feel the tray... Ah, found it. *sips. This tastes oddly better than regular tea," Ayato carefully placed the cup back onto the floating tray.

"Now open your mouth ~ Ahhhh ~"

"Please, I am not some infant that you should baby. I am the grownup Yashiro Commissioner you know?" chuckled Ayato as he opened up his mouth to take a bite of tricolor dango.

"Hmm... I would say that growing up too fast is a shame. I'd rather children be able to mature at their own pace, rather than be forced to become adults too early."

"I concur, which is why I've taken necessary steps for my sister. Though, it seems like she is steadily making preparations to spread her own wings. She's now the rising star of the clan, taking care and interacting with the community, I am proud to have her as my sister."

"What about you, Kamisato Ayato? Would you like to return to the blissful land of being a child with fewer responsibilities? Or to regress into a teen?" asked Mizuki.

"Being a child would be nice. I am rather fond of the my childhood, back then I had more time to myself to have a hobby or two. But now time is precious, and a lot of it is taken up by official duties. Ah, but something like this is very much so a favoured pastime of mine. Maybe I'll have my own personal private onsen set up in the Kamisato Estate."

"You like being blindfolded in a bath with a woman? Hmm, such a pastime for the Yashiro Commissioner..."

"Your sense of humour is never lacking it seems haha."

And so Ayato had a remarkably novel experience at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 40: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Barbara

Barbara, the shining idol of Mondstadt and the darling star of the Church of Favonius anxiously paced around, she had also been chosen to join the Mondstadt Delegation to Inazuma and had volunteered to put on a few idol performances.

Though, soon she was going to perform in front of a larger crowd, full of foreign people that she had never seen before. Barbara turned around a corner, and collided into a person and recoiled backwards, yet before she could fall onto the hard ground, a soft cloud had softened her fall.

"O-Ouchie??? Wait, I'm not hurt?"

"Dear guest, that was a close one ~ Here, this fell off just now, are you hurt anywhere?" Yumemizuki Mizuki placed Barbara's hat back on her head, and helped her to stand back up.

"N-No! And um, thank you! Yumemizuki Mizuki!"

"If I remember correctly, you have about 2 hours before your allocated show begins, right?"

"Yes, I-I'll do my besh!" and then Barbara unexpectedly bit her tongue and Mizuki consoled Barbara.

"Relax a little ~ I'm sure you'll do well."

"uuuuu..."

"There's still plenty of time before your performance, so... Let's get you into the hot spring baths ~" Mizuki floated to behind Barbara and gently pushed her in the direction of the hotspring baths.

"Eh?!!!!!!!"

And so Barbara found herself in the onsen hotspring bath with Mizuki, and found herself blowing bubbles into the onsen hotspring as she awaited Mizuki to appear.

"Hi ~"

"H-Hi..."

"Now, go ahead and relax ~ Have a cup of tea."

"Ah thank you!"

Barbara took a sip, and gave it back to Mizuki who placed it on a floating wooden tray.

"Still a little nervous?"

"Y-Yes... Hehe, it's kind of exciting too, performing internationally."

"Hmm, open up your palm, I'll teach you a secret art to banish away your anxieties and nervousness ~"

Barbara did so, and Mizuki proceeded to write the character for 'people' onto Barbara hand, and then gently pushed it up to Barbara's mouth.

"???"

"When I am nervous, or anxious in front of a large crowd of people, I write 'people' onto my hand, and then eat it ~"

Barbara cocked her head towards the side and smiled, before giggling a little and repeating Mizuki's little act.

"That's cute! Um, actually, I also have my own little ritual..."

"Ara ~?"

"I have this journal. It carries all the compliments and hopes that everyone has for me. Of course, it has criticisms too. All of it is reason to endure..."

"Then later on, may I write something in your journal?"

"Sure!"

And so Barbara enjoyed her time in the onsen, and would put on a wonderful idol show.

Chapter 41: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Albedo

The Kreideprinz gently tucked Klee into the bed of Aisa Bathhouse premium softness and quality, and made sure she was off into the wonderful dreamland before he left the room. It was adequately late into the night, surely there was no one else left in the hotspring baths, and well, they were now closed for maintenance.

With a canvas and some tools in hand, he made his way down, and entered one of the public baths, set up his station and begin the beautiful process of putting the majestic scenery he saw into colours.

"Excuse me ~ The hotspring baths are closed now ~ Oh, you must be the person who put in the special request for tonight, right?" Yumemizuki Mizuki came in.

"Yes, when I first entered the baths here, I was enraptured by the scenery. Such a prime spot, snow is clearly visible on the stone perimeter of the baths and the night sky with a visible mountain in the background adds a truly divine ambience."

"Thank you for the wonderful description ~ The Bathhouse spent a lot of time and effort designing the outdoor baths to maximise the people's enjoyment."

"In Mondstadt, there is another equally beautiful mountain. Though it is rather perilous to ascend it if one is uninformed. By the way, I can paint an extra for the bathhouse to hang up."

"Hmm, it is getting quite late, I wouldn't want to impose."

"I see. Thank you. I think 99% of people would have accepted it right away."

Yumemizuki giggled a little. "Is that so? Is perhaps socializing a little taxing for you? I apologise beforehand if such questions are a little rude."

"I don't mind, it is rare to discuss topics like this so it is a breath of fresh air. And yes, socializing can be a little taxing. Friendships need to be maintained, and if contact is lost, they should be reestablished, it does take a, non unsubstantial amount of time."

"Then how about now? Is chatting with me taxing?"

"... You ask me such a question knowing that I will politely heed social cues and say no. And no, I don't find chatting with you taxing. Though in reality perhaps a sincere answer would be somewhere in the middle," Albedo chuckled.

"Thank you for being honest ~ Is it okay if I clean up the hot spring while you paint?"

"Go ahead."

Yumemizuki Mizuki began work, and Albedo continued his painting. Some time passed as Albedo finalised his painting and Mizuki finished up her work.

Albedo stood up and eyed his work. "Yes, this is excellent," he remarked and Mizuki floated over curiously.

"Why yes ~ It does certainly look beautiful."

"I'll paint another one in my free time and post it to the Aisa Bathhouse in the future."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, treat it as a gift."

"Then I'll accept it wholeheartedly ~"

 

Chapter 42: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Mona Megistus

"umu umu, the constellations of Inazumans are quite interesting," said Mona as she scried the future of some NPCs rather inconspicuously.

Mona Megistus turned to see the proprietor of the Aisa Bathhouse, Yumemizuki Mizuki blissfully tending to a group of guests.

"Hmm... now the this one. A tapir... Related to dreams..."

"Dear guest, if you continue to look at people like that, all you'll earn is some rather interesting stares ~"

"Uwa!! Y-You startled me! *Ahem* I am the Astrologist Mona Megistus."

"Yes ~ And I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, the proprietor of the Aisa Bathhouse."

"A-Ah! Thank you very much wonderful experience here. Especially the meals, best food I ever had! And the vegetables here are very fresh! Excellent I would say."

Mizuki smiled

"Are you the same 'Great Astrologist Mona' from the Steambird's special column?"

"Oh? Familiar we are then!"

"If you are interested, the Grand Narukami Shrine also offers divinations, it's a little long to hike up Mount Yougou, but the trip there is rewarding."

"Interesting interesting. If I have time, I will certainly pay a visit, it's just that I still have some columns to write... However, the new Inazuman landscape of constellations have provided ample material for a few weeks. By the way, I have some questions for you."

"For 'ol me?" Mizuki pointed at herself and Mona nodded.

"Yes, you can dive into dreams yes? I am rather interested in what a dream looks like, and if it can perform something similar to divination."

"Hmm... it's very much hard to explain. Dreams manifest as an inner representation of a person's unconscious desires. How about you? What kind of dreams does the great Mona Megistus have?"

"Me? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, ah sometimes I dream about eating at an all-you-can-eat buffet, hehe I wake up feeling hungry whenever that dream comes around."

"... I think you should take care of yourself more and have a proper diet."

"I-I am eating properly! Salads are by far the best food in the world -"

"I recommend steaming as a low effort way to cook meats. Have a butcher descale a fish, plate the fish with some herbs and let it steam till completion. It also pairs well with salads."

"Wait, why are you giving me cooking advice? And steamers are expensive! And I'm more focused on purchasing astrology equipment to -"

With a smile Mizuki grabbed a hold of Mona's hand, and dragged her into her office for a proper talking session on taking better care of herself.

And so Mona Megistus enjoyed an insightful and great learning experience at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 43: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Iansan

Iansan disembarked the boat to Inazuma and heaved a deep breath of fresh air before stretching.

"So this is the land of Inazuma."

She had heard people gush about samurais and ninjas and their physical prowess like a true connoisseur. But Iansan was here for a different purpose. A special commission from the Aisa Bathhouse, to discuss therapy via physical exercise.

"Alright, time to get this show on the -"

"Halt, no running in the streets of Inazuma," yelled out a tengu lady.

"Ah, sorry. By the way, could you show me the way to the Aisa Bathhouse?"

Yumemizuki Mizuki awaited at the front reception desk. Per a recommendation from her friend, Mualani, a famous gym instructor would make their way to her bathhouse to help her with drafting up a comprehensive exercise therapy plan.

There was even a picture of Iansan included in Mualani's letter.

"Yumemizuki Mizuki. You have a guest. Her name is Iansan, from Natlan."

"Ah, Sara, thank you," Yumemizuki Mizuki waved to Sara, and Sara made her leave as Iansan came face to face with Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"So you're Yumemizuki Mizuki, right? You have knife ears like me!" Iansan greeted Mizuki happily with her hands on her hip.

"We sure do. You can call me Mizuki."

"The name's Iansan. I'm a sports coach from Natlan. I heard you were looking for help with exercise theory?"

Mizuki nodded, "Yes, I'm a psychotherapist. I think exercising can be a good way to help ease people's minds."

"You're right. Then let's first begin with a warm up!"

A few moments later.

Mizuki meekly stepped out into the open Aisa Bathhouse backyard, in more proper exercise wear.

"Mizuki, you ready? We'll begin with some light calisthenics, they're perfect for newcomers, and can get the mind ready for more activities, I'd wager most of your patients aren't going to be so enthusiastic at first, so lighter stuff ought to do the trick initially."

Mizuki nodded and responded. "Yes, coach Iansan."

"I'll guide you, so just follow my lead!"

And then out of nowhere, Yae Miko appeared.

"Miko..."

"Mizuki, exercising?" Miko stifled a giggle as Mizuki pouted in response.

"... Yes, I'm trying to develop something new with this."

"? A friend of yours, Mizuki?" asked Iansan.

"I'm just passing by, on the way to work actually, but thank you for being Mizuki's coach."

"She isn't particularly busy I believe, I think she's just out for a walk," retorted Mizuki.

"Oh! Then come on and join us!" Iansan earnestly invited Miko over.

And then Mizuki quickly floated over to Miko, ensnaring her in a tight handhold.

"Mizuki. Let me go."

"Coach Iansan, I'll go bring Miko to change into sportswear."

"Great! The more the merrier when exercising!"

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki and Yae Miko experienced some exercise, and Mizuki promptly developed a form of light exercise theory with Iansan's guidance.

Chapter 44: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Qiqi, Baizhu & Changsheng

"Pant... pant..." Baizhu heaved a little as he caught his breath, with Changsheng curling around him with concern.

"Perhaps this trip to discuss the role of psychotherapy in patient treatment is too much for you?"

"Pant... We're already here, not much point in turning back. Plus, we're already right in front of the Aisa Bathhouse. Qiqi, are you holding up well?"

"Qiqi is okay," said Qiqi, carrying the luggage.

"Aisa Bathhouse... It's a bathhouse but also doubles as a psychotherapy centre huh."

"The approach is unique. We'll find out soon enough."

The door opened, and in walked Baizhu and Qiqi (and Changsheng).

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse. My name is Yumemizuki Mizuki, you may call me Mizuki. You must be Dr. Baizhu right?"

"Ah, so you are the person who extended an invitation to me. I have heard much about the Aisa Bathhouse from some friends of mine, and how its warm waters have helped to ease their hearts and minds and wash away turbulent stress."

"Please pass on my thanks," said Mizuki with a bow. "Per Inazuman hospitality, I have arranged for a complimentary overnight stay for you. And by the way, this child... How do I put it nicely... Isn't all that luggage a little too much for her?" Mizuki looked at Qiqi, who was carrying most if not all of the luggage.

"Qiqi may be small. But Qiqi's physical condition is better than Dr. Baizhu's."

Mizuki scrutinised Baizhu from head to toe. Skinny, thin, and running a little ragged from presumably the walk or trip from the Ritou harbour to the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Qiqi isn't lying. Baizhu's physical finesse isn't exactly what you would call good," spoke out Changsheng.

"*Ahem, please, I am not some infirm old man. I can pace myself properly."

"Well first, you may leave the luggage here. Our staff will bring it to your room," Mizuki clapped her hands and a pair of workers helped to relieve Qiqi of the luggage. "And then, perhaps have a bath first? Then we can discuss more in depth about psychotherapy and its role in patient care over some tea & light snacks."

"Right. Then... hmm... What is the Aisa Bathhouse's policy on pets in the bath?" asked Baizhu as he looked towards Changsheng.

"Hey! I am no pet! I am a great adeptus you know?!" retaliated Changsheng.

"I am a little curious about this adeptus, maybe we can talk about this later. Anyways I have no objections to your snake adeptus being with you in the bath. Just, no shedding, please."

"Good, and could I trouble you to look after Qiqi here? She is a little slow on the uptake, her memory is like a sieve and she struggles to remember or make memories, so it would be a little dangerous for her to bathe on her own in a new environment,"

"Gladly, though, since this concerns the mind, is there anything I can do to help?"

"Qiqi consents. Qiqi would like to be able to remember more."

"Excellent ~ Well then, see you later, Dr. Baizhu," Mizuki took ahold of Qiqi and gently nudged her towards the bath, with Qiqi having a vacant :o face.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go in already!"

"Changsheng..."

And so Dr. Baizhu and Changsheng had a relaxing and reinvigorating hotspring bath. And Qiqi enjoyed herself. And both parties had a good nice talk.

 

Chapter 45: Interlude: An Orchard Owner's Outgoing Outing

"nom nom nom." Officer Cherveuse happily stuffed her mouth with another handful of perfectly crispy fries and chips.

She was on mandatory vacation, and here she was merrily strolling down one of Fontaine's streets with her crispy fried food, while shooing away the occasional pesky seagull.

But then she spotted a possibly lost non-Fontainian individual with pink hair carrying some bags with fruits inside. Chevreuse approached her.

"Excuse me, miss. Are you lost?"

"?! You scared me a little..."

"Ah, sorry there."

"But yes, I am a little lost. I'm looking for Hotel Debord. Actually I'm from Natlan and an orchard owner. I've been looking to expand business overseas."

"I can bring you to Hotel Debord, are you planning on becoming a supplier for the Hotel?"

"Yes! I've already sent a letter and received a favourable response. By the way, what's your name?"

"I am Chevreuse."

"I'm Varesa! Pleased to meet you!"

nom nom nom

"Wnat a bite?" Chevreuse reached for a piece of fried fish within her bottomless bouquet of fried food for Varesa.

"G-Gladly!"

"Hotel Debord is a good establishment, I'm sure they'll welcome you as a new supplier. Any other locations you'd like to expand to?"

"There's this place in Liyue called Xinyue Kiosk that has expressed interest. Oh and Coach Iansan recommended me to try Inazuma too since she went there for a while to help someone."

"Hmm, actually there's this bathhouse in Inazuma that I believe would welcome new suppliers. Have you heard of the Aisa Bathhouse?"

Yumemizuki Mizuki sat in her personal room at the Aisa Bathhouse, reading away at the shareholder reports meant for her.

"... Another good quarter. We'll catch up to Miko's Publishing House at this rate."

"Mizuki, there's a letter!" Murasaki, one of her fellow yumekui-baku walked into the room.

"Thank you for the letter, and maybe knock next time, Murasaki."

"Sigh okay. The letter is from Natlan. I'll be going off then."

Mizuki opened the letter, and read its contents.

Dear Aisa Bathhouse, I am Varesa of the Collective of Plenty, owner of XXX Orchard from Natlan. I am interested in becoming a supplier for the Aisa Bathhouse. XXX Orchard produces XXX fruits with high quality and ...

"Hmm, some foreign produce would help the ryokan menu...

And so soon, a group of Natlan producers would show up at the Aisa Bathhouse.

 

Chapter 46: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Varesa

"Berries all fresh, and mushrooms too! Okay, in we go!" Varesa strode into the Aisa Bathhouse, carrying a massive bag of produce behind her.

Yumemizuki Mizuki idly sat by the reception counter as she checked some details for an upcoming event. Soon, the 2nd grand hall of the Aisa Bathhouse annex would be transformed into a marketplace for Natlanese goods. And the first VIP involved would be Varesa, who is also interested in supplying produce for the Aisa Bathhouse.

"Welcome to the Aisa - Do you need help with that?" asked Yumemizuki Mizuki as she eyed Varesa.

"It's okay! Got this all under control. Are you Yumemizuki Mizuki?"

"Yes, and you are, Varesa from the XXX Orchard from Natlan's Collective of Plenty I presume?"

"Yes! I'm here to become a supplier for the Aisa Bathhouse, and also setup my booth for the upcoming event."

Mizuki giggled a little, "Then let's start with sampling some of the produce. You seem very happy too,"

"Hehe it's my first time traveling to Inazuma."

"I can recommend an itinerary for you, and since you made the effort to come all the way here, I'll throw in a complimentary extendable overnight stay,"

"T-Thank you!"

"It's my pleasure ~"

Mizuki led Varesa to the kitchen.

"Then let's begin with my orchard's specialty. Here, have this red berryshroom," Varesa handed a red berryshroom to Yumemizuki.

"This is a mushroom?"

"Yes! This mushroom only grows in my orchard and can be eaten raw. It has a fruity flavour when eaten raw," Varesa took a piece and devoured it happily, "Mmm!"

Yumemizuki Mizuki followed, it's a little outlandish to hear a mushroom be described as 'fruity' but when she gave it a try, it really was fruity, and zesty.

"This flavour, I've never tasted anything like this before. It's sweet unlike other mushrooms, may I have another?"

"Go ahead! Also, grilling and cooking it releases a strong delicious aroma, I recommend that it be paired with fatty meats like pork belly for a sweet and savoury experience."

Yumemizuki Mizuki savoured the berryshroom, it would be a really good addition to the bathhouse menu. Plus it could be eaten as is and thus could be put on sushi. The future food menu for the bathhouse is sure to be bussin', and the planned buffets during festive seasons and potential catering market was wide for the Aisa Bathhouse to enter. Not just as a bathhouse, but a shining beacon of Inazuman hospitality and service!

"These berryshrooms are wonderful. I think we can look forward to a delicious shared future, Varesa. Let's try the other produce you have, then we can discuss more."

"Okay!burp* S-Sorry! I ate a little too much on the way here..."

"It's okay, plus in Inazuma, burping is a way to show your appreciation of the food."

"Really?"

"Yes, and usually after we burp we gives our thanks to the chef and food." Tactfully, Mizuki swallowed some air and released a soft burp, "Thank you Varesa for the incredible berryshrooms, they were very delicious,"

"Ehehe, hearing that makes me a little embarrassed, but I'm honoured!" Varesa rubbed her head bashfully.

And so Varesa and Mizuki continued their sampling session, and Varesa became a new supplier for the Aisa Bathhouse, and the Aisa Bathhouse would steadily progress its plans to open up buffet and catering services.

Chapter 47: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Ifa & Ororon + Cacucu & Arataki Itto (1)

Ifa: Seems like the place bro. The Aisa Bathhouse, we're here.

Ororon: Ifa my bro, this can't be the Aisa Bathhouse.

Ifa: Wha?

Ororon: Look at the sign. It clearly says Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki's Psychotherapy Consultancy.

Ifa: Bro look at the other sign. The bigger one.

Cacucu: The heck are you on about?

Ifa: Cacucu...

Ororon: My mistake bro, this really is the Aisa Bathho-

Itto: Oi oi oi! We got some foreign lookin' folks loitering around the Aisa Bathhouse's front porch!

Cacucu: The heck are you on about?

Itto: You two, er three fellas, ya ain't making trouble for the bathhouse right? Us Youkais gotta help each other out -

Out of nowhere, a small cloud suddenly entered Itto's nostrils that caused him to sneeze.

Mizuki: Itto... I appreciate you looking out for your fellow youkais, but these people are guests. And important ones too. On behalf of the Inazuman Youkais, I humbly apologise.

Mizuki signaled for Itto to bow to and he did.

Itto: Super sorry for this misunderstanding! I'll do my best to make it up to ya!

Ifa: It's okay bro, sis. We were being a little loud too.

Ororon: Youkai? Ah, the special creatures in Granny's comics and novels!

Ifa: Ororon... Anyways, I'm his caretaker of sorts and we're here for the Natlanese Marketplace Event. We should have two booths, one for my Saurian exhibition, and another for my bro's vegetables and fruits.

Ororon: Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki, Would you like an apple?

Cacucu: For real, now? Do you even hear yourself, bro?

Mizuki: ... Oh thank you. Just leave your luggage by the reception counter. The staff will bring it up to your rooms. In the meanwhile you can go set up your booths, or would you like to indulge in the hot spring baths first -

Itto sauntered towards both Ifa, Ororon can Cacucu.

Itto: I still hafta make it up for earlier, let's get in the baths pronto, I can scrub your backs for ya! And trust me the bathhouse here has the best baths.

Mizuki massaged her temple as she watched Itto 'persuade' her guests into taking a bath.

Ororon: No worries. I think Itto can be my first Youkai friend in Inazuma then.

Itto: Then waddaya waiting my compadres! Let's hit the baths!

Itto and Ororon ran off, with Ifa & Cacucu in tight pursuit.

Mizuki: ... This apple tastes nice.

Chapter 48: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Ifa & Ororon + Cacucu & Arataki Itto (2)

After a short time together in Inazuma, Ororon, Ifa & Itto quickly became good friends. They were now bathing in the Aisa Bathhouse.

Ororon: Waow. Itto my bro this bath is really something.

Itto: Bwahaha! Told ya that the hot spring baths here are the best! Utterly saikyou!

Ifa: Very similar to the ones in Natlan.

Cacucu: Nuh-uh!

Ifa: Cacucu...

Itto: There's hot spring baths in Natlan too?! Man, I should go for a holiday there sometime.

Ororon: You're welcome to stay with me.

Itto: Bro... You're my number 1 compadre!

Ifa: Still, the temperature is on the hotter side here..

Ororon: Yes.

Itto: Ah, I took the time to push the hot spring to the hottest level possible!

Ifa: Hmm, you okay?

Itto: Perfectly fine my compadre! What could go -

And then Itto fainted in the hot spring bath.

Yumemizuki Mizuki was blissfully enjoying her time at the reception counter. No scheduled appointments for today, just bathhouse business - 

Cacucu: Oh dear! Oh dear!

Mizuki: Hmm? You are that guest's, I mean Ifa's saurian right?

Cacucu flapped around, trying to get Mizuki's attention.

Cacucu: Oh dear! Oh dear!

Mizuki: Has there been some kind of emergency?

Cacucu: Oh dear! Oh dear!

And then Cacucu went flying into the male section of the hot spring baths, beckoning Mizuki to follow.

Mizuki: ... I swear if there is no emergency... 

Mizuki rolled up her sleeves and flew in, the first thing she realised was there was an absurd amount of steam. She went over to temporarily shut down the bath heating system.

Ororon: Boss granny! Over here!

Ifa: Itto my bro fainted in the hot spring baths! It was too hot for him.

Mizuki: Ahh... I see... 

Ororon: He's still breathing, but we gave him some CPR.

Mizuki: I see.

Ifa: Is there hope for survival?!

Mizuki: Yes. Itto just fainted from heat illness. Bring him out into the dressing hall, I'll go prepare some water for rehydration.

Ororon: Thank the Archon.

Ifa: Thank the Archon.

Cacucu: Oh dear! Oh dear!

Itto would soon recover.

Chapter 49: Interlude: Transient Musings

After fainting in the Aisa Bathhouse's hot spring baths, Arataki Itto took it upon himself to reimburse the bathhouse for the losses he caused by signing up as a temporary worker.

"Hmm, Itto, could you help me move this batch of incoming stock into the kitchen?"

"Aye aye! Am on it!"

Spirited and enthusiastic as always.

"By the way, how is Granny Oni? Why not bring her over for a bath here? I'm sure it'll help revitalize her a little."

"Ah, Granny Oni's getting up there in her age haha. But yeah a good soak in the hot spring will do well!"

"True. Say, Itto, do you ever get sad?"

"Of course! I ain't some ever happy fellow haha, ya talking about Granny Oni moving on?"

"Sorry if I caused offense."

"Haha! It's okay! I do get sad and honestly I ain't sure what I'd do when that happens but the best I can do now is to be happy and make as many memories with Granny! That way even in the future, I won't feel so lonely."

"That's nice, if you ever need help, my clinic's doors are open."

"Aye aye!"

Off Itto went, carrying boxes of fresh produce into the kitchen, leaving Mizuki at the entrance of the bathhouse.

As Youkai, we do live long lives.

Mizuki began to reminisce, her human friends like Mualani will eventually grow old, leaving her behind. All her previous guests and patients too. Still, she had her own Youkai kin. Her childhood friend Miko came to mind, and the everlasting Raiden Shogun too, she could rely on them to be permanent at least.

"... So many years. It seems like the years pass by faster every year."

She thought about Itto and his Arataki Gang, a gang with human members and Itto as the sole Youkai leader. Itto too would experience lost eventually.

"It is as Itto said, what we can do now is be happy -"

And then a whiff of a familiar kitsune's perfume graced her senses.

"Oh Mizuki, thinking about how to surpass my Publishing House?"

"Miko..."

"I jest ~ Are you free? I would like a personal bath, with an attendant of course by my side."

"I understand, would you like Shion? Or Murasaki?"

"You of course, what better way to celebrate another quarter of booming sales than Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki scrubbing my back?"

"You're not getting a reaction out of me, Miss Needy Guuji."

Miko giggled a little, before following Mizuki into the baths.

Chapter 50: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Xianyun (1)

Yumemizuki Mizuki hastily tidied up the Aisa Bathhouse's conference room. Recently the Aisa management had received a letter from a Liyuean woman who wished to invest, and was arriving soon to meet.

"I hope Musaraski and Shion are hospitable enough... Maybe I should have went to Ritou myself," Mizuki placed some complimentary snacks and drinks on the table.

All set, and then came a knock on the door.

"Mizuki, she's here."

"Let her in please."

The door swung open, and an elegant bespectacled woman was ushered in.

"Greetings, one's name is Xianyun and one would like to put forward an investment plan."

"Good morning Miss Xianyun, I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, representative of the Aisa Bathhouse Group."

"Excellent. Let us begin then; I believe you are aware of the consequences of the recent conflicts in Teyvat."

"Yes, Inazuma is recovering from the civil war, Fontaine is rebuilding from a titanic flood and Natlan is healing from abyssal intrusions. Many people are recovering from related trauma."

"Verily, families have been torn asunder like the wind. One has heard of the Aisa Bathhouse's reputation, a place that cares and heals the minds of people."

"Here at Aisa Bathhouse we try our best to serve all people, to the best of our abilities."

"With the Aisa Bathhouse's expert caretaking staff, one would like to invest in an orphanage, if possible, multiple."

Mizuki blinked. An orphanage was an incredibly big leap from a psychotherapy clinic and bathhouse.

"Interesting proposal, I suppose the Aisa Bathhouse can consider expanding its healthcare facilities. Yes, this is in line with our mission as well. But necessary capital will be important for certification, training and other setting up costs..."

"Capital will be no issue. One has prepared the funds," Xianyun produced an account book for Mizuki.

"1-1-1 billion mora?!"

"Of course, one is a charitable individual, one must fulfill their duty to nourish the talent and children of this world."

"Miss Xianyun! T-This amount of mora, i-it may be too much for us to handle."

"One will transfer the mora periodically. Anyways, enough talk for today, one will be here to sight see for the incoming two weeks."

"Then, how about a dip in the Aisa Bathhouse's world famous hot spring baths first? With a personal attendant at your side too."

"One is looking forward to premium baths."

Chapter 51: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Xianyun (2)

"One is pleased with the hot spring baths. One feels at peace and revitalized," noted Xianyun as she kicked back in the hot spring bath.

Mizuki, hovering above the water line poured a cup of tea for the adeptus. "Thank you very much for your compliment."

"Hmm, one is interested in how you can hover like that."

"Ah, I am a Youkai, a yumekui baku to be precise. I would be similar to an adeptus in Liyue I suppose."

"One is intrigued. Are you long lived?"

"Hmm, I'd say yes. Old enough to have lived through the cataclysm."

"Oh?"

"I was young back then, but the scars still remain among the people. It's why I chose to become a psychotherapist. I wanted to contribute, even if just a little."

"Hmm, how about you? Are you eating well? Do you have friends? Are you meeting them? Are you married?"

"Yes miss Xianyun, I am eating well and have friends. I suppose we meet once a week to discuss contemporary issues, sometimes twice or thrice."

"That is good. One is pleased. Are you married?"

"... No, not yet I suppose."

"Are you seeing anyone?"

"... I suppose no?"

"Hmm, one shan't dig further then. Though one advises you to keep your friends close, companionship is important."

Mizuki quickly glanced around to make sure that a certain kitsune wasn't listening in and continued. "Yes, I do try to keep my friends close. I hope these peaceful days can continue on, forever."

"Good girl."

"... Thank you.^mama" Wait what am I saying?!

"Hmm? Did you say something?"

"N-No, must have been the wind..."

"Oh, and another thing. One would like open correspondence with you, one will write letters from time to time. And if you visit Liyue, feel free to lodge at one's abode."

"Gladly."

And so Yumemizuki Mizuki and Xianyun became penpals. And Mizuki may have awoken something within her.

Chapter 52: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Skirk

"Aisa... Bathhouse?" Skirk squinted as she scrutinized the sign. She had arrived in Inazuma in her travels for no particular reason at all, aside from hearing about the swordsmanship there.

"Ara? Are you interested in a bath?" asked Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"... Not really."

"You know, they say that bathing in the hot spring baths can revitalize strength, and ease fatigue."

"... How much for a bath? And a room."

"Just for you dear traveler I'll throw in a discount ~ Now come, you can choose from a variety of plans at the counter. What is your name?"

"... You can call me Skirk."

"Are you here to seek strength?" asked Mizuki idly as Skirk looked at the Aisa Bathhouse's accommodation catalogue.

"... Yes."

"In that case, the Shogun is set to perform a swordplay exhibition soon, and there will be a tournament as well."

"... This premium accommodation set, explain further."

"Ah, for this set, we offer an extendable overnight stay with access to our facilities, bathing attendant if you need one, and a complimentary consultation session with our premier psychotherapists."

"... Psychotherapists?"

"Yes, people often neglect their mental strength, with a heavy and depressed mind and heart, even the strongest of warriors can fall."

"..." Skirk blinked, processing the information and then opening a bag of mora. "Then, the premium accommodation set."

"Excellent choice ~"

"1... 2... 3... 7..." Skirk began to count her mora, with Mizuki watching.

This will, take a while I suppose.

Chapter 53: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Faruzan

“Ohhhhhhhh, so this is the fancy shmancy Aisa Bathhouse that everyone has been raving about.” Faruzan laid her eyes on the façade merrily enjoying it and taking a picture with her kamera.

Good architecture, plus she had heard that Kaveh had had a hand in designing one of the newer sections, plus she was also interested in the supposed phlogiston heating system used. 

“Hmm, I wonder if they’ll let me take a look, I am interested in Natlan stuff."

“Sure, if you wish to take a look then I can gladly allow that, just refrain from touching,” replied Yumemizuki Mizuki as she finished checking in Faruzan, with her luggage being ferried off into her room by some Yumekui Baku.

“Really?! You Inazuman youngsters sure are nice. If I were back in Sumeru they’d ask for all sorts of proof and then go: Oh this is only for Spantamad Researchers only, the audacity!”

“Hehe, a fellow associate of yours mentioned that a certain Madam Faruzan may come in the future for holiday or research in Inazuman ruins.”

“Oh! Must’ve been Kaveh! What a good lad. I must get some souvenirs for him then. Any recommendations?”

“A divine fortune from the Grand Narukami Shrine would do well, but since it is gift for someone you know, perhaps something related to their profession? Do you know what he would like?”

“Then maybe I can tour around and note down some of the architecture here hahaha!”

“In that case I can recommend you a few wonderful places:"

• Tenshukaku, it was built during the Archon War, and its defensible design highlights this.
• The Grand Narukami Shrine, the stairway leading to the top offers a rewarding hike and the history taken to build the shrine is enshrined in a small museum in it.
• The Mikage Furnace is one of the oldest forges in Inazuma, and was built with Fontainian assistance.
• The Sangonomiya Shrine in Watatsumi Island lies in between a beautiful natural coral display, if needed I can write to our Aisa Bathhouse branch there for a transfer.

Faruzan's eyes lit up as Mizuki explained.

"Anyways, would Madam like a bath first? Then we can treat you to Inazuman cuisine in the buffet hall as per your accommodation package ~”

“How wonderful! You can join in right? Would love to chat more.”

“If you wish so~”

“Delightful! Sure beats being stuck in some labyrinth for a hundred years!”

“… Pardon?”

Mizuki blinked, was it a joke? Was that meant to be taken seriously?

“Ah, actually I got stuck in some old ruins a longggggg time ago. Strange stuff y'know, I spent so long inside that I lost track of time and had to recuperate after leaving. And ah my mom and pops had moved on when I escaped haha. All in the past though, no need to dwell too long on it. Now now now let’s head in! Ahhh can’t wait to feel utterly refreshed.”

And so Madame Faruzan had a wonderful time at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 54: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Shikanoin Heizou

"Miss Yumemizuki Mizuki, I suppose you would be amiable to lend me a room for tonight?" joked around Doushin Heizou.

"I suppose miss Kujou Sara will be amiable to me letting her know you dropped by here, jokes aside, are you here for work?" with a smile, Yumemizuki Mizuki retorted.

"Hehe, I'll pay I'll pay, I'll claim the receipt from my bosses. Recently there's been a case around here you know? You ought to beef up surveillance," Heizou slid over enough mora for a room and bath.

"Hmm, yes I've heard. Apparently some ruffian is up to no good, stealing clothes off laundry lines."

"And it's a pervert too y'know... All the clothes that have been stolen are underwear. Both male and female and youkai."

"That's kind of..." Mizuki grimaced.

"Your Aisa Bathhouse has some open air baths, and all of the enclosed baths have multiple elevated windows to ensure ventilation. But some pervert could easily y'know, be a peeping Tom."

"Doushin Heizou, I hope that you'll apprehend the clothesnatcher soon. What clues do you have so far? I can ask my Yumekui Baku colleagues to contribute some intel."

Heizou leaned in over the counter, and looked around to make sure the surroundings were clear and then spoke in a hushed tone. "Your yumekui baku colleagues, I hope that none of them can be the culprit, right?"

"I don't believe so, the ones with human forms like me and Shion are good citizens, the remaining ones in their baku form don't have the physical strength to snatch objects."

"Alright, then I can tell you a little. All of the snatching incidents happened at night. The footprints that we've uncovered are small, and disappear after a certain distance. No one has reported hearing or seeing anything suspicious."

"These kind of clues... Could it be a bake-danuki?"

"It's still too early to jump to conclusions. If possible, can we have your associates monitor a few houses for us? Of course I'll get miss Kujou to compensate you all."

"I believe we can do it. Just give me a moment to talk to them later."

"Excellent!" Heizou stretched his arms a little. "Then, I'll be off to the bath first, an associate will also come so, put their expenses on my tab. If they want to pay, then take their mora, I'll get to reimbursing them later~"

With a wave, Heizou entered the baths, and Yumemizuki Mizuki continued to ponder on the upcoming operation.

Chapter 55: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Sayu

*knock knock

Yumemizuki Mizuki heard a knock, she glanced around but couldn't see anyone, and then she peered over the reception counter, to see a short Mujina girl looking up at her.

"Welcome to the Aisa Bathhouse, are you looking for accommodation?"

The Mujina girl stepped backwards slightly, taken by surprise upon seeing Yumemizuki Mizuki.

"Y-You... remind me of the shrine maiden kitsune..."

"Who? Miko?"

The Mujina nodded.

"The Guuji... She's always patting me on the head... I'm gonna get stuck at this height forever if she keeps on doing that!"

"Relax, I'm a kind youkai, unlike the Guuji ~ At the Aisa Bathhouse here we have all the milk you can drink in our dining hall ~"

"R-Really? Then... I'll take a room."

"We have a variety of room and bathing packages, ranging from the standard overnight stay with access to our dining hall, to the tip top luxury package."

"The pricing is a little... I'll take the standard one..."

And so Sayu enjoyed drinking milk at the Aisa Bathhouse.

Chapter 56: Aisa Bathhouse Guest List: Ineffa

"Ah, then the first thing that must cross your mind is accommodation right? I am Yumemizuki Mizuki, and I happen to run the best accommodation available in Inazuma."

"This interests me. May I preview your hotel?"

Mizuki smiled, "Sure, it's called the Aisa Bathhouse ~"

Yumemizuki Mizuki led Ineffa to the Aisa Bathhouse and decided to give her a tour of the Aisa Bathhouse facilities, starting from the rooms available, to the dining buffet hall and now the famed bathhouse services.

"This is our premium private bath room available for guests who enjoy a more private experience. If you'd like, you can take a complimentary bath ~ Travel ling from abroad must have been tiring yes?"

"For Aino, possibly yes. However, I am a robot. Traveling for an extended duration has minimal effect on my unit." 

Mizuki's eyes widened a little as she rescanned Ineffa. True... she was misled by her skin and believed that her various mechanical parts were foreign armour.

"I see..."

"I am able to take a bath."

"Oh... Wonderful."

"However, I may require some assistance in washing myself." 

On cue, a series of joints moved, and Ineffa detached her left arm from her torso.

"?!"

"Individual robotic limbs should be cleaned separate from the main chassis. Usually, Aino assists me in maintenance."

"... I understand. L-Let's enter the bath then ~"

And so Ineffa experienced a thorough washing with Mizuki's help.

 

Chapter 57: Interlude: Expansion

Yumemizuki Mizuki looked across the shareholder meeting table.

"... Miko..."

"Ara ~ Miss Yumemizuki, I did invest a substantial sum recently. I suppose I deserve a seat here, no?"

The other youkai shareholders edged away from the table, as Miko and Mizuki sized each other up.

Mizuki sighed. "I suppose so."

"Good ~ Well then, I have a proposal."

"Miko... Proposals should go through proper procedures, with a strategic paper outlining said proposal -"

Yae Miko pushed across some papers to Mizuki.

"Have you heard of Nod-Krai? A chilly land, certainly in need of hotsprings. The hotsprings of the Aisa Bathhouse would suit Nod-Krai."

Mizuki began to read through the papers "... This is... very well studied."

"Of course, the Guuji Miko always does her due diligence. So? What shall it be, Yumemizuki Mizuki ~"

Mizuki shot a look at Miko.

"Miko... You're coming with me to Nod-Krai. Tomorrow."

"Hahaha."

"... We need to survey the land and environment."

"... Eh?"
