   Summary

   When Angel wakes up in a silent room as collateral for one of Valentino's debts, he expects more of the same pain and exploitation that he's used to. But Husk surprises him with an infuriating, confusing indifference. For the first time, Angel experiences a reprieve from the cycle of cruelty, and it leaves him yearning for something he can’t quite define.
