Chapter 1: Hotel
Chapter Text
Outside the window, were showing the awfully mess around the city. Vaggie watched silently with a sigh. The extermination day always reminded her of her painful fallen, how she struggled to survive after Lute’s torture, kicked her uniform away to avoid random demon’s attack, laid helplessly against the trash bin and waited for her death.
But in the same time it brought something Vaggie will never let go.
Charlotte Morningstar. Her girlfriend.
The thought of her lovely partner brought a silly smile on her face. Vaggie stayed lean against the soft couch beside the window, her hand stroking soft and slowly at KeeKee’s fur who jumped onto her lap minutes ago.
It was a soft click of the door lock called back her attention. She didn’t need to turn around to know who it was, there’s only one person who will came for her in this moment.
“Hey.” Charlotte called, and Vaggie loved the softness in her tone, it made her even happier when she knew she’s the only one been able to hear it. “What makes the prettiest angel sitting here alone?” The Princess continued while slowly approaching towards her lover.
“Not alone, I have KeeKee here.” Vaggie replied with a smile, hands still caressing the soft fur of the cat. “Oh?” Charlotte hummed. “So she is more important than me?” She said with a raised eyebrow, taking her sit next to Vaggie, who was giggling at the moment. “Don’t tell me you’re jealous.” “Maybe I am.”
KeeKee jumped away, probably went to find snacks or because of the jealous Princess or because of both. With that, Charlotte leaned closer to Vaggie, wearing an expression like a kicked puppy. “Aww, why the long face, my princess?” Vaggie teased, moving her hand towards her princess and started gently caressing Charlotte’s cheek with her thumb. “You were so busy about the hotel, I can rarely have time to stay with you. And now you just sitting on the couch without me…” Charlotte leaned closer against Vaggie’s touch, yet still wearing a frustrated face, betrayal showing in her crimson eyes.
Vaggie laughed at this sign. “Hon, I just don’t want to bother you. I know you’ve been a lot busier than me for managing Hell.”
“But I missed you.”
“Though we just woke up together in the morning?”
“Still missed you.”
“Fine.”
Charlotte smiled at the silly conversation, eyeing her lover with fondly eyes. “Let me take care of you now, you need a break, my angel.” She said as she moved closer, attempted to pull Vaggie into her lap. “I’m fine, you need more care than me-” “Nope, Princess’s orders.”
Vaggie sighed softly, but letting Charlotte pulled her into her lap. She leaned her head against the Princess’s chest, listening her steady heartbeat and smelling her fresh apple scent that never faded. “I do need some moment like this…” Vaggie mumbled, closing her eyes to enjoy the comfortable atmosphere. “You’ve been working a lot for the hotel. You deserved it.” Charlotte moved her arm to hold Vaggie steady and comfortable in her arms, also giving slow touch on her sliver hair.
The couple stayed like this for the next half an hour, sometimes watching outside the window together, sometimes just simply enjoying each other’s warmth.
Finally, even as none of them count how long had passed, they notice the exorcists started to flied back towards the portal connected to Heaven, and closed it when every of them had retreat. Charlotte lifted her head as she watched where the portal had been, voice calm. “It’s over.”
Vaggie responded with a nodded, letting out a sigh. “I’m glad that the hotel is now some kind of safe haven for our guest.” She said, then heard a soft laugh from the Princess. “Yeah but, it means there will be a lot of chaos happen-”
“Niffty! Stop fucking destroying the bar!”
Vaggie gasped at the yelled of the male voice. “See?” Charlotte shrugged. “Oh god, not again.” The angel jumped to her foot, attempting to rushed down the hall to see what was happening.
Before she could push the door opened she felt a hand wrapped around her wrist, pulling her backwards. “Charlie?” Vaggie turned around, her heart immediately melted when the moment she saw her girlfriend’s sad face. “Stay a little longer, please? Just leave them there.”
Vaggie almost surrender instantly when she watched directly to Charlotte’s puppy eyes. Her usual black-slit pupils were always gone when there’s only two of them, leaving her cute, beautiful red eyes which always showed love inside it. Vaggie’s mind screaming at her, to pat her girlfriend’s soft hair right now, giving all gentle touch she loves. But at the same time, Vaggie knew what needs to be solve first.
“Babe, we can continue to cuddle after dinner, okay? I can’t leave Niffty destroying tings with her blade.” She gave her girlfriend a soft smile. “You got work to do too. I will come and get you after everything’s settle, okay?”
Without waiting her princess to respond, Vaggie quickly ran downstairs. Charlotte stayed her place for a few more seconds before exhaling a breath. “Damn sinners.” She growled, eyes covering with the mixed of frustrated and cold hatred.
A few days later.
Charlotte was in her office, dealing with the papers and the schedule for the next meeting with the Sins.
Knock-Knock
It was a knock on the door brought her attention away from her work. “Come in.” Charlotte said with a voice louder enough for the person to hear. She didn’t have to ask who they are, there’s only one person to have permission towards her office.
Vaggie came in with a smile. “Hey hon.” “Hey, what brings you here?” Charlotte’s eyes locked on her girlfriend as she stood up and walked towards her. “Alastor said he finish the video, wanna take a look?” To that, Charlotte frowned in confusion. “Alastor? I thought I called Vox to do it.” Her frown deepens when she saw Vaggie’s eyes widened.
“What? Alastor told us he’ll be doing it.” Charlotte narrowed her eyes. “Oh that little bastard…” Seeing her princess’s gaze slowly become dangerous, Vaggie quickly reacted. “But what about taking a look first? Then we can have two version to choose with.”
Charlotte watched her silently, then nodded. “As you said, my angel.”
Vaggie led her girlfriend down to the hall. Everyone else were already there, waiting at the soft couches. “Greetings, your highness!” Alastor bowed when Charlotte come into the view. “It’s glad to have you interest in my radio show!”
Different from Alastor’s behaviour, the others stayed silence. Their first guest – Angel Dust, and the cleaning staff – Niffty, wears a look of slightly fear and clearly unsure how to react. Husk, being better, just stare at the princess with an unknow emotion Vaggie couldn’t describe.
“Being silence it’s a better behaviour for you.” Charlotte said to the radio demon with a calm voice. “And remember, you are not supposed to be here.”
Alastor’s smile twisted, being completely knowing what she meant. “Charlie…” Vaggie whispered to her lover, yet the Princess just pulled her to sit on the middle of the couch. “Show us your rubbish now, will you?” Alastor’s smile twisted again. He pressed the button to turn the TV on. “Sure, your highness.”
Vaggie could felt the eyes from Angel Dust where he sat beside her. She quietly met his eyes, catching the information he tried to said. Not now, Angel. She thought as she shook her head slightly, and turned her attention to the show.
“Well there, sinners! Do you like bloods, violence and sexual nature? Of course you do! That’s why you’re in Hell! …”
As the video played, the atmosphere started to get weird. Vaggie frowned at the shit, Angel Dust holds his shock and speechless expression, Husk and Niffty didn’t show too much of their attitude. And finally, the dangerous, threatening gaze coming from Charlotte. Her expression didn’t speak too much but everyone just felt it, especially Vaggie.
“So, what do you think?” Alastor asked as the video ended.
“What the fuck was that?” Angel asked with a raised hand. “Umm…Agree with that. This wasn’t what we need-” “Bullshit. A waste of time.” Charlotte interrupted Vaggie’s speech, standing up from her seat and making her way upstairs. “Better not try to mess up my project, Alastor.” She gave a warn, and ignored Alastor’s narrowed eyes.
The angel tried to reach for her, but choose to let her go since she knew the princess still got stuff to handle. Soon as Charlotte was out of the view, Vaggie made an awkward laugh before returning their topic. “As Charli- Charlotte said, this wasn’t what we need, Alastor.” She said with her arm crossed. “We want to get sinners willing to come to the hotel, but that…seemed to work oppositely.”
Alastor made a laugh. “I’m literally doing what you need! Sinners like my radio broadcast and that’s what they’ll really listen.” Vaggie groaned. “But your video didn’t mention anything we really want to say! That will not up to use for.” She said firmly.
“Yes, Angel?” She asked as she notice the guest raised his hand. “Why needin’ so much work? Charlotte got the ability to let anyone to stay, didn’t she?” “I know, but that isn’t how things work. I want to let sinners come because they want to redeem themselves, not because we force them to.”
“Well I wasn’t force here but I can tell all of this is bullshit.” Angel smiled teasingly. “Redemption? How could this even possible? I can tell, Vagina, none of us here take it seriously.”
The hotelier sighed. “Yeah, yeah, I get it. But if you’re here that means I got the responsibility to help.” She challenged. “Whatever.” Angel Dust simply said, he got off from the couch and walked towards the bar. “Pour me something strong, kitty cat!”
“If you fucking call me that again I swear you’ll be well dead.” Husk growled.
Later that day, Vaggie was tidying the ledgers at the front desk. “Charlie?” She asked when she saw her girlfriend walking down from the staircase. “Where are you going?”
“Heaven asked for a meeting.” “Only three days after the extermination day?” “Yeah.” Charlotte shrugged. “Do you need me to come with you?” Vaggie asked worried.
“It’ll be fine, they can’t do anything to me.” Charlotte smiled, but then being serious again. “About the video, I’ve called Vox to help, he will arrive later.” The angel blinked in surprise. “And for Alastor, don’t give a fuck for his shit.”
Vaggie made a small laugh. “I know, it’s super bad.”
Charlotte nodded in agreement. “I’ll be back before dinner.” Her eyes turned soft for the first time in hours. “I’ll wait for you.” Vaggie said with a gentle smile as Charlotte kissed her cheek.
Vaggie watched her girlfriend walked out the door, and closed it with her magic. “Already missing her?” She heard Angel’s tease when she stayed her position for just a few more seconds. “Just worry.” She shrugged, remember the last time Charlotte went out with bloods – although it’s not hers – over her face and hands.
“About the Princess.” Choosing to stop that topic, Angel started himself. “She’s fucking terrifying, Toots. That face, that eyes, those words…Caring to ask her to stop it?”
“A beautiful dream.” Husk interrupted, his hands continued cleaning the bottles. “Who doesn’t know that’s the way she is? Plus,” He stopped for a moment. “there’s reasons.” “Oh? You know ‘bout the story? Why not sharin’ it?” “C’mon, stop it Angel.” Vaggie cut off the speech. “I’ll talk to her but please, she has the freedom on how to behave and…I promise she is harmless.”
“I don’t think so!”
“Only to you.”
Two voices rang in the same time. Niffty popped out her head, continued to speak as Angel shuts his mouth. “I saw the Princess killed the strange mans last time! Super awesome!” Her face showed how excited she is. “Bloods flying everywhere! She’s a cool bad girl.”
Vaggie groaned in her mind. Dios mío, Charlie…
That’s when the front door drew opened with a loud smash. “Hello there, demons!” A man with his head being a television came in, a large grin on his face. “So, where to start with?”

Chapter Text
“Woah-woah-woah, this is so unneeded for.”
“Princess’s orders, Miss bowie, this’s surely needed.” Vox replied, sitting on the chair and commanding his people to work. “The name is Vaggie.” She sighed. “And please, these are too much for a hotel promotional video.”
Around the main hall, Vox’s people were working to build up the scene. Setting up the camera and lights, pull up various pillars that Vaggie couldn’t understand what to use for, arrange some green cotton cloths and stages, even making some details on the clothes they took out from nowhere.
Husk, Angel Dust and Niffty were already in their clothing, including Vaggie herself. The hotelier watched her cloths and sighed, feeling slightly uncomfortable and super not used to the red noble dress they put on her. Vox said it will be attractive but she clearly didn’t think so.
“This’s more like behind a fucking movie scene.” Husk shrugged from where he stood behind the bar, hand holding an alcohol.
“Well it is, my friend!” Vox cheered. “Princess said it has to be as prefect as it can.” “But we wanted this in a basic way-” “No fucking judging, Miss Vaggie. Trust us with your request.”
“I already said. Our old friend was too overstated of his work, clearly not the right choice.” Suddenly, Alastor popped out from his shadows, eying the group with his usual big-wide smile. To that, Vox made a sneer. “Ha! I think I heard a radio demon almost get killed by our Princess for disturbing her?”
“Well that’s quiet a fake news, old pal. Makes you highly unreliable.”
“Oh you motherfucker has no right to say that-”
Vaggie groaned in the background, feeling her head ached painfully from this terrible situation.
Charlotte walked in the walkway of the Heaven embassy. It was decorated really heavenly in honest. Even though its main place being in Hell, and colours followed where it belonged, but the details on the walls and some vase along the way were surely the same style as the Paradise.
Yet it didn’t make Charlotte liked this place.
The last time she’d been here was an unworthy piece to stay a place in her memories, but the first time she went here…
Charlotte frowned deeply in a disgusted gaze, followed with a low growl.
She still fucking remembered the scars they caused on her. The ugly, disgraceful scars that she never let anyone to have chance to land their eyes on them. Including Vaggie.
The Princess wiped her thoughts away as she arrived at the large door connected to the meeting room. She pushed the door open, founding the two visitors already sitting in their place waiting for her.
“So I already told yo- Oh! Welcome, Princess Charlotte.” The man said, his recent smile disappeared as he waved his hand to his right-hand, calling her to stood aside.
Charlotte nodded slightly. She walked over her seat and kept her eyes locked on the man, her expression showed cold. “Why the call, Adam?” She asked shortly.
Adam made a short cough. “As you can see, sinners are getting more for these years. So-” “Want to double the extermination again?” Charlotte narrowed her eyes. She rested her cheek on the back of her hand for support, watching the man at the opposite of her.
“No no, no more fucking mistakes again.” Adam waved his hands. “Sera wanted me to decide with you, never want to show rudeness again ha-ha!”
He cleared his tone. “But that’s fucking bullshit, y’know. So c’mon, have any ideas instead of your shitty hotel? That’s fucking waste of time so just ignore that shit please.”
“Don’t want to ask Lucifer instead?” The Princess made a small laugh, teasing. “Ugh don’t mention that man, he’s useless for Heaven now.” Adam chucked. “Who doesn’t know you’re the one in lead now? So c’mon, don’t waste time.”
Charlotte stayed silence this time. Her fingers tapped the table regularly, making steady yet slowly rhythms.
Adam watched the Princess as he chewed on the snacks he called Lute to get for him. He started to wonder what’s the Princess’s thinking about, but he’s too lazy to know. All he wanted is a decision that wouldn’t let anything worst than the last situation happened, and if do so then it was enough for today.
He was sure that he never wants to feel how his fingers get ripped one by one again. No. Fucking never. It was as terrible as Hell and even his first death as human never been a nightmare to him. But that case? Fuck it was rough and creepy.
Yet, as the time slowly passed, concerned clawed onto him as Charlotte still remained silence. The steady and repeated sound of the tapping ringing in his head like a death declare from Hell. Adam stopped his chewing and started to feel anxious. What the fuck is she thinking?! He roared in his mind, but eyes stared towards the Princess like he’d be die immediately when the moment he moves his gaze from her.
His right-hand started to have the same thought as him either. Lute shallowed with cold sweats showed from her back, her eyebrows frowning in a worried way and her eyes kept its direction towards the Princess of Hell, just like her captain.
A few more minutes had passed yet Charlotte didn’t seem ready to open her mouth yet. Too stressed to take it anymore, Adam opened his mouth and ready to speak, but got stopped by the exorcist on his side. Lute lightly shook her head at him, and Adam could only groan in his mind as he knew what she meant.
…
The first man exhaled a breath he didn’t know he had been holding on.
Then,
A voice breaks through the silence.
Vaggie walked out from the bathroom inside her and Charlie’s room. She wiped her long sliver hair with her towel – actually it’s Charlie’s but both of them wouldn’t mind it – and exhaled a breath.
Today’s shooting was surely tiring. It was even worst when Angel Dust and Niffty couldn’t fucking put their attention at the camera and with the two overlords kept fighting each other, Vaggie really actually felt what ‘Hell’ meant.
Especially when her lover wasn’t there with her to give her advice and help her.
No that she was that kind of person who only choose to rely others. But sometimes, with Charlotte to hold onto the situation would always be much more easier.
She laid on the bed and let out a soft groan. But Vaggie didn’t choose to fall asleep, she’ll be waiting for her Charlie before finally taking a rest for today. Vaggie stared blankly at the ceiling for a few minutes, wondering how long will it takes for her girlfriend to come back.
After a few more moments, she decided to grab her phone and clicked on the app to message Charlotte. Right before she clicked the ‘send’ button, the door flew open, and Charlotte walked in. Vaggie sat up slowly, eyes turned to the direction of her girlfriend.
The light from the hallway and the darkness in the room created a deep shadow on Charlotte’s face. Vaggie titled her head, sensing the strange feeling coming from the Princess even her face being unseen. “Charlie?” Vaggie called softly, her voice slightly above a whisper but still clear enough inside the quiet room.
Charlotte remained silence. The only sound could be heard from her was the steady footsteps as she walked closer and closer towards the angel on the bed.
When the Princess was finally closed enough for Vaggie to see her face, Vaggie froze for a second, her heart skipped a beat. Charlotte’s eyes were different of her normal state. Her sclera turned to blood red and iris a bright yellow, and two black lines showed above and below her eyes, clearly in her demonic mode. Yet her horns and tails weren’t present, which somehow a relief to Vaggie as it told her Charlotte wasn’t in a much bigger trouble.
“Oh hon…” Vaggie broke the silence when she reads the numbness in Charlotte’s blank expression. Her eyebrows frowned slightly, showing how tired she was. “Come here, sweetheart.” The angel called, opening her arms to her lover, who accepted the invitation almost immediately as she fell into her arms – after taking of her shoes of course.
“What happened in the meeting?” She asked while giving a few soft touches on Charlotte’s head, helping her relax.
“I…I don’t really know.” Charlotte replied after some minutes. Her voice was hoarse and low, and Vaggie watched her shut her eyes, hiding her face further into Vaggie’s chest.
“You don’t know? What does it mean?” Vaggie asked with concern, feeling fully confused in the moment. “I’m not sure…” Charlotte kept her eyes shut. “But we’re in trouble…That’s what I’m sure.” “What?” Vaggie asked patiently, waiting for an answer which could help her tidy up the information.
“Adam said about the population problems, he asked about my idea and…I couldn’t quite remember. It feels like my memories has be taken away but I don’t really know why…or what happened next.”
Vaggie gasped. “Have you hit your head? Or did Adam do something to you?” She quickly checked all over her girlfriend, searching for a chance that she’d been attacked. “I don’t know…Now everything feels like shit, I don’t really want to move now.” Charlotte let out a heavy sigh, nuzzling against Vaggie’s comforting warmth. “You really sure you’re alright?” The angel frowned. “Yeah.” The Princess replied.
Opposite from Charlotte’s tiredness, Vaggie’s sleepiness was gone instantly. She frowned in worried, thinking any possible situation that might happened to her lover to cause amnesia. But she couldn’t think a very suitable reason for it, leaving everything ended with a large confusion and unsureness.
But now, Vaggie knew it wasn’t the main problem to solve. Charlotte’s health was way more important for now. She holds her princess for a bit longer, then started to took off her jacket slowly, and the next was her vest.
When she reached for her white shirt, Charlotte suddenly flinched when Vaggie’s finger landed on the button of the shirt. The Princess jumped up immediately, backing a few inches away from Vaggie’s touch.
“Char?” Vaggie gasped out in surprised at the sudden changed statement of Charlotte. “I- I can do it myself.” Charlotte answered shortly, and quickly took her pajamas before burst into the bathroom, not even wanting to hear Vaggie’s respond.
Again, Vaggie stunned in place. She blinked in confusion, wondering what cause Charlotte to react like that.
That’s when the moment she suddenly realized something.
She never seen Charlotte’s body without covered.
Yeah…it doesn’t really make sense for now.
Vaggie stayed in her place as she frowned in the mix of worried and confusion. Charlotte came back to view after a few minutes, now completely in her pajamas and loosen hair. Charlotte didn’t say anything as she climbed up to her side of the bed, curled close to Vaggie, asking a cuddle without words.
The angel sighed with adoration.
She pulled Charlotte close to herself, wrapped her arms around her doggy girlfriend. “Head hurts…” The Princess whispered against Vaggie’s skin. Vaggie quickly reached her hand towards the back of Charlotte’s head, and started giving it gently caressed.
“Does it help?” The angel said softly, and smiled when Charlotte gave her a nod.
Even with too many questions in her mind, Vaggie found herself been able to relax, and felt the tiredness from afternoon came back to her again.
Things can be deal tomorrow…Now, they deserved to rest.
Feeling Charlotte’s steady breath against her skin, Vaggie allowed herself to close her eyes. She leaned against her princess’s soft hair, taking one last breath on the fresh apple scent, Vaggie fall asleep with her lover.

Chapter Text
Opening his eyes, Angel stretched his arms with a yawn. He blinked for a few moments before feeling something moved beside him.
He smiled, reached under the blanket to picked up his lovely pet. “Mornin’ Nuggets.” He said, watching the small pig sleepily open its eyes, then let out some cute oink when it recognized its owner.
Angel yawned again. He slides down his bed and walked out of his room after getting wore up.
From above the staircase, he could already saw the sliver-hair woman tidied up a bunch of papers, and seemed like preparing something he’ll never get interest in. Not some fucking bullshit again. He groaned in his mind. Despite taking the advantage to have a free place to live and no worries of getting food or needs, he’s still tired of all those rubbish game. He just couldn’t understand. Why the fuck would Vagina thought these games will actually help redemption? That’s not even possible, bitch!
“Good morning.” Vaggie greeted from downstairs. Angel chose to ignore this as he slowly walked down the staircase. “What bullshit for today, toots?”
“Well, bullshit’s kinda right.” The hotelier smirked. “You’ll know tomorrow, today’s a day off.”
“Yayy! Day off!” Niffty cheered from the side of the hall, and disappeared again with a blink of eye. When the fuck she’d been here? Angel thought. He shrugged from the thought and then just walked to the couch and laid down.
“Husk, how’s the bar stock?” He heard Vaggie’s voice sounded all the way behind where he laid. “Almost empty. It’s time for refill.”
“Okay. I’ll call Alastor to help you.”
“What? Don’t-”
“Well I heard the needed sound!” The radio demon showed up from his shadows. Husk made a groaned. “Fucking shit.” “What is that?” Alastor titled his head towards the bartender, although just being ignored as Husk turned his head away. “Alright, do not fight here.” Vaggie stood up from under the desk. “You two heard me. Now just do your work then you can both have a break for the rest of the day.” She crossed her arms, challenging.
“Fine.” Husk groaned again. Angel silently lifted his head to watched, seeing the two overlords – or one being a former overlord – heading outside the hotel.
“Hope they won’t forget what to buy.” He then heard Vaggie whispered to herself. Angel raised an eyebrow, but remained silence and opened his phone.
He immediately regretted doing that.
The moment he lighted up the phone screen, Valentino’s messaged blow up, almost covering the whole screen. He frowned deeply, knowing what he was facing currently. Motherfucker. He cursed in his mind, but like a self-abused, he pressed on one of the voice messages.
“Angie, sweetie, when are you going to come back?”
“Val misses you now. Won’t be boring to stay in that shitty hotel? I promised to take care of you greater than they can.”
“C’mon, Angie. Be a good boy like you always do. Please?”
“…Fuck, I’m done of it.”
“You MOTHERFUCKER better get your ass back within 5 minutes!”
“Don’t fucking think you’re safe under Princess’s protect. She couldn’t keep her eyes on you for a whole day!”
“Alright. I’m sorry. Come back now, Angie. C’mon.”
“ANTHONY-”
Angel squeezed his eyes shut. He groaned as he threw an arm across his face. Fuck Satan, this bustard is always creepy.
Every time. Every. Fucking. Night. He never wanted to leave me alone.
…
“Angel?” The thick female voice pulled back his attention. “Yeah, bitch?” He groaned out, didn’t really want to have a communication for now. “Better not tell me that overlord’s calling for you.” He sat up from the couch and saw Vaggie raised her eyebrow to him. “Shut up.” He simply said, and stood up to get a drink at the kitchen.
Before he entered the kitchen, the hotel’s front door suddenly flew opened. Angel turned around, his eyes widened when he saw it was Charlotte with her hand holding a…snake guy?
“Charlie?” Vaggie’s voice broke the silence.
Charlotte didn’t respond first. She threw the snake-look sinner into the hall, earning a yelp of pain from him. “Agh! It hurts!”
Angel walked back into the main hall, finding out there’s walking-egg guys appeared behind the Princess and they’re approaching to the snake sinner. “Oh boss! Is that fun?” “Shut up and lift me up now!” The snake sinner growled.
What the hell? Angel thought.
His attention turned back to the girls as the moth were now beside the demon princess. “Who’s this, Char?” Vaggie whispered to her girlfriend. “A new guest I found.” Charlotte smiled proudly, lifted up her chest. “The guy’s being fired from his job, and how could I miss the prefect chance to add a member for our hotel?”
“Oh. That’s sweet, darling. It’s just…” The hotelier hesitated as she landed her eyes on the sinner. “He didn’t seem too willing.” To that, Charlotte made a small laugh. “Oh honey, I promise he’s definitely willing to come.”
A hiss sounded. “I-I didn’t say that-” And somebody didn’t let him finished as dangerous red eyes shot towards him. The sinner froze for a moment, and quickly spoke out again as fear climbed up to him. “I’m super interest in this hotel! I’ll stay here without a question!” The dangerous eyes gone.
Vaggie and Angel sighed at the same time. Poor guy.
“Welcome to Hazbin Hotel!” Vaggie smiled to the sinner while walked towards him. “I’m Vaggie, the hotelier. What’s your name?” “Sir Pentious.” The sinner responded.
Charlotte nodded in satisfaction. “If there’s no problem, I’m returning to my office.” Vaggie turned to her with a smile. “I’ll call you when lunch’s ready.”
“So, how did you catch Princess’s attention?”
The bartender asked lazily from his place at the bar. Sir Pentious, the new hotel member, sitting at the barstool and released a sigh. “I got no idea! I’m just sitting by the road then she just dragged me up, and now I’m here!” “Well that’s sounds like her.” Husk chucked.
“It’s not funny! What the hell is this place by the way? A hotel of redemption? Seriously?” Sir Pentious crossed his arms as he observed around the hall. “C’mon, snake guy, not good for having a free place to stay?” Angel Dust smirked at him. “Yeah but, too sudden honestly.”
“Sir Pentious, your room’s ready!” They heard Vaggie called from upstairs.
“Well that’s quick.” Angel said.
He turned around, and stunned for a moment. A bunch of egg walking guys showed up from nowhere, and stood right in front of the snake sinner. “Egg boys! Now go up and clean my room please!”
“Yes boss!” One of the ‘egg boys’ replied, then all of them went up towards their destination.
“What the fuck are those things?” Husk raised an eyebrow. “They are not ‘things’! They are my eggies.” Sir Pentious smiled like a proud dad. “Just look how cute are they! They are my everything.”
“Eww, that sucks.” Angel stick out his tongue. “Hey! I’m just telling the truth.” “Still, sucks.” Angel waved his hand like tried to kick out some random insects.
Few hours later, Angel walked in the hallway as he wanted to get down and grab some drink.
He crossed his arms as many thoughts travel around his mind.
“Thank you for being our first guest, Sir Pentious!” Vaggie shook the sinner’s hands.
He still remembered that. It happened earlier, when Sir Pentious’s room was fully tidied up.
Angel frowned deeply. Somehow, he didn’t know why, but he didn’t like that.
“Why the fuck is he being the first guest?! I’m the one being here first!” Angel said out loudly with a frown, clearly not satisfied about how the hotelier spoke. “All of us know you’re just here for free room, Angel.” Vaggie raised an eyebrow. “Even though Sir Pentious had been dragged here, but at least he’s more like a real resident than you do.”
Angel groaned as he run his hands over his hair.
Fine, fine. Vagina’s right, he’s here for free room not for redeem himself. But c’mon! It’s not fucking fair! That snake guy granted more attention than him! How could that even acceptable!
“But never mind, tomorrow will be your first activity, Sir Pentious!” Vaggie turned to face the snake sinner again. “Both of you are important for our hotel. Hope you enjoy tomorrow!” She smirked.
Yeah, yeah. Always those words.
Angel didn’t know why he kept feeling angry about Vaggie’s changed behaviour. How she seemed more focus on Sir Pentious. How she giving him more attention than she gave Angel himself.
Angel slapped himself. He didn’t have to feel like that! He didn’t fucking care about this place, so why is he angry and anxious now?
…Fucking terrible.
Suddenly, he heard sounds coming from a random room. That door was slightly opened, showing how careless was the person inside there. Usually, he will choose to simply walk across. Because it was either Vaggie checking something, or Niffty trying to clean up the place.
But this time, he felt a bit strange. It was neither Vaggie or Niffty’s sound inside there.
It was Sir Pentious.
Frowning in curious, he moved towards the door quietly, leaning against the wall beside the door and watched inside.
“Yes boss, things will surely complete!” He saw Sir Pentious was standing in the centre of the room, eyes looking onto the phone watch he had been wearing. “Great, fucking do your job quickly. If you’re been discovered, don’t fucking think I can safe you.” “Surely understand, boss.”
“But boss, you sure Princess didn’t figure me out?” Sir Pentious asked in worried. “I felt scared at how she looked at me…it was terrifying!” “Useless bitch!” The man on the other side of the watch groaned. “If she just leads you to the hotel than everything’s settled! You better do your job and don’t mess up, you hear me?!” “O-Of course, boss!” Sir Pentious yelped.
Asshole…Angel thought. This better go like expected. He smiled slightly at his thought. He knew, if Vaggie or Charlotte find out, this guy will be doomed, and in that case, his status wouldn’t get stole again.
Angel reached for his pocket, tried to grab his phone but stopped when he noticed Sir Pentious turned around and head towards the door. He quickly hided in the opposite hallway where Sir Pentious couldn’t see him, holding his breath until the snake sinner was out of sight.
Although his main purpose was to show the hotelier who’s the real first guest in here, but Angel also knew if he let Sir Pentious done his job, it will cause something bad to this hotel. Not that he really cares about this place. He just didn’t want to lost a free place to stay. Yeah. Just that, no anything else.
So, upon of these thoughts, Angel went down and began to look for the hotelier. After a few minutes he finally saw her, and quickly went to her side. “Vags, there’s an emergency.” To that, Vaggie’s alarm immediately set up. “What is it, Angel?”
“I found that snake guy’s secret.” He spoke in a low voice. “He’s working for someone else, they want to do something to this hotel.” “What?! That’s insane, Angel!” “Wait what?” Angel widened his eyes in surprise.
Vaggie sighed, resting one of her palms on her waist. “Just because you’re jealous with him doesn’t mean you can slander him, Angel Dust.” She watched him with a calm attitude. “What the?! I’m fucking serious, Vags! I saw it with my eyes!”
“Do you have any proof?” Vaggie asked, still stayed calm.
“I…ugh…”
Fuck, that’s a good point. “I- When I was going to record him it was too late.” He scratched the back of his neck.
“So that’s it, you didn’t even have any proof of what you said.”
“But I swear it’s real! Why can’t you trust me?!” Angel snapped, anger landed in his voice. “You fucking said this hotel is for redemption, and you didn’t be a good example! Look how unfair you are! Trusting someone you just met one day than me? Seriously?!”
“What? What makes you think like that?” Vaggie sounded so disbelief, which made his anger grown. “How could you ask some shit like that?! Did I have to remind you what you said earlier?”
“Okay, okay, Angel. Calm down.” Vaggie said in a soft tone. “I’m sorry. But since what you did in the past, like making lies about Alastor to grant a day off, or tried to mess up with Husk, it makes me hard to fully trusting you.” She sighed lightly.
Oh god, that makes point too. Angel’s anger got cool down almost instantly by Vaggie’s words.
“You said you saw Sir Pentious might be a spy, right?” Vaggie continued. “So now let’s make a solution. We keep an eye on him, and if he’s really a spy, then we kick him out. Is that okay?”
“You should already decide that.” Angel sneered. “Again, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel like that.” But this time Angel didn’t give a damn. He turned around, waiting for the moment to proof his speech.
In midnight, Angel couldn’t quite fall asleep.
It’s been a day since Vaggie promised him to kick Sir Pentious out when they found he’s really a spy. He had been waiting the prefect moment for yesterday and today, but surprisingly that shitty asshole somehow hided his true behaviour to them, and Angel couldn’t help but groaned at the missing chance.
To tired to stay awake but also couldn’t be able to fall asleep made the spider sinner climbed up from his bed and walked out to get some drink again. Some help from alcohol may will chill his mind and allow him to get some rest.
And he stopped again when he heard the familiar sound.
Without hesitation, Angel quickly headed towards the sound. He carefully opened up the closed door as slow as he can, avoid making any sound.
Caught ‘ya. Angel smirked as he saw what he expected. Sir Pentiour was placing some sort of mini camera behind the books on the bookshelf, and tried to hide it behind those books. That’s when he saw it.
The Vees.
There’s the Vees’ icon on the camera. Which explained something.
“Aha! Caught ‘ya you slimy little shit.” Angel brusted into the room, clearly scared the shit out of the snake sinner as he yelped. “You working for the Vees? I should have thought about that…I knew something was wrong with you shit ass.” He walked over and meanly stabbed Sir Pentious’s chest.
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Sir Pentious moved backwards, and made some hissed towards the spider sinner. “Oh yeah? Wait until Vaggie know this and…or what about Charlotte know about this?” Angel growled back. “You would either getting chased out from this place or getting ripped out from this world. What would you choose, bitch?”
Sir Pentious widened his eyes in slight fear, but then smiled back. “You think you can beat me that easily? Let’s see-”
“What is going on here?” A female voice sounded from the door. Both of them turned around, watching the two figures standing at the doorway.
“This bitch is a traitor, like I told you!” Angel grabbed Sir Pentious’s arm and lifted it up. “What? What did he do?” Vaggie asked in a surprised tone. “Look, there’s camera, clearly wanted to record our doings.” Charlotte pointed out, her finger reached towards the small camera that hadn’t hid completely behind the books.
“W-Wait, I can explain this!” Sir Pentious yelled panickily. “What else to explain, bitch!” Angel growled out as he reached out his fist to punch Sir Pentious at face. “Agh! Asshole!” The snake yelled, flying a punch back in return.
“Fucking stop it!” Vaggie’s roar stopped the guys’ action as they kept fighting each other on the ground. “Stop. Now, Sir Pentious-”
“AHH!!” The snake sinner called out suddenly, obviously in fear as he jumped up and rushed towards the window. He tried to open it, but of course failed to do so. “Boss! Help me! They figured me out, get me out of this place!” Sir Pentious said to his phone watch desperately, his panicked eyes scanned all over the man’s figure showed on the scene.
“You’ve been discovered?” The man asked, soonly followed a laugh. “I’m fucking right! You’re totally useless, bitch!” He spoke within laughing. “No, no, boss. Please. Save me! I promise it won’t happen again!” Sir Pentious cried out. “Same words every time.” The man replied coldly. “I’m done with you. Fucking kill yourself or wait for others to do that, will you?” That was the last words as the man ended the call.
Sir Pentious was now completely terrified. He turned around, seemly tried to rush out as fast as he can before anyone could react.
Charlotte watched his reaction with a raised eyebrow, then simply snapped her fingers.
Instantly, bunch of red burning steel pipe fall down from a magic portal, and stabbed into the ground around Sir Pentious, trapped him without a second. “What?” He questioned, taking two more seconds to understand what happened. “N-No! Let me out, please! I’m sorry!” There’re tears started to form in his eyes. Sir Pentious’s expression twisted, surely now terrified for what had happened shortly.
“Calm down, please.” Vaggie finally said out in a calming tone. “How can I calm down like this? With you trapping me inside here?!” He snapped, but almost immediately whimpered when he saw Charlotte’s expression darken. “I-I’m sorry! Please. Please don’t kill me…”
“Oh what an actor.” Angel said coldly as he stood up and walked towards the girls, standing beside Vaggie. “You weren’t like that when you thought no one’s gonna find out, coward.” “I’m not a coward!” He hissed.
“Just kill him.” The argument was stopped when they heard the Princess’s voice. “Solve this shortly and let’s head back to sleep, Vags.” She turned towards her lover, waiting for reply.
“Wait, babe.” Comes Vaggie’s gentle voice. She patted on Charlotte’s shoulder then walked towards the cage where the snake sinner trapped. “We wouldn’t kill you.” Vaggie spoke out as gentle as she could in the moment. “W-What?” Sir Pentious said in disbelief.”
“This hotel is built for redemption, and no redemption can work without forgiveness.” Vaggie smiled towards him.
“Wait what?!” Angel snapped. “This bitch was going to ruin your place and you just said that??” “Angel.” Vaggie turned at him, and Angel could only shut his mouth, letting her continue. “Like what I said, we can forgive for what you did, but it depends of if you can do me a favour.”
“What favour?” Sir Pentious asked, his eyes already started to be teary. “You stay in the hotel as a real resident, and never mess up with our members.” Vaggie reached a hand towards him, waiting. “Do we have a deal?”
Sir Pentious watched the grey-skinned hand in front of him. “Y-Yes…” He said as he chocked on his words. “Thank you…so much.” He took Vaggie’s hand and shook it lightly.
“Charlie.” Vaggie turned around again. “Free him, please?”
Charlotte hummed, but still snapped her fingers to let the pipes vanished.
“Thank you…I should’ve thought they will give up on me…” Sir Pentious continued between sobs. “I’m sorry…”
For that, Vaggie patted his shoulders, giving a smile. “Everything starts with a sorry.” She titled her head. “Now let’s get some rest, okay? Angel, can you lead him to his room?”
“I’m not a fucking staff, especially not for him.” Angel sneered.
“I can go back on my own…” Sir Pentious said with his head lowered, he took off his watch and thrown it to the ground. “But I’m keeping an eye on you.” Angel continued. “If I saw you fucking try to betray us again you’ll be sure dead, slimy guy.”
“Never going to happen again!” He swears with his palm above his forehead like a soldier.
As they started to retreat from the room, Charlotte walked towards the bookshelf, and grabbed the camera, including the watch on the ground
“What now?!” The man groaned from the watch as Charlotte opened it. He gasped when the moment he saw it was Charlotte’s face showed in the screen. “P-Princess?” He asked with cold sweat formed on his face.
“Hey Vox.” She said out coldly, her lips pulled into a smirk. “What a good try for you, static demon.”
“N-No, Princess I can explain-” “Shh…” Charlotte narrowed her eyes. “Let’s explain that tomorrow, shall we? It’s going to be fun…” She made a devilish laugh before shutting down the call.
“Char?” Vaggie walked back in as she noticed Charlotte wasn’t following her. “What are you doing?”
“Coming, babe. It’s nothing.”

Chapter Text
Charlotte opened her eyes. The soft light of the early mornings shine through the curtain, landing softly on the bed just like a warm blanket.
She blinked softly, then turned around to face the woman sleeping on her right side. Vaggie was still peacefully asleep beside her. Her soft and breathless snoring filled up the morning like a beautiful melody. Charlotte watched her angel’s face silently, observing every detail on the angel’s face.
After a few moments, Charlotte reached her hand to gently play with Vaggie’s sliver hair. Different from her own curly, bouncy blonde hair, Vaggie’s hair was smooth and soft. It’s colour fits Charlotte’s pale skin, being something Charlotte like to watch when she had her lover’s hair between her fingers.
Charlotte moved her hand to Vaggie’s bangs, and gently moved it aside to reveal the scarred eye behind it. She watched the hollow, empty hole where her left eye used to be. Even never seeing her lover with both eyes, Charlotte could still imagine how beautiful she was.
But never mind. She’s perfect and gorgeous. There’s no need to change.
Taking a soft breath, Charlotte began to wakes her woman. “Cariño.” She spoke in her girlfriend’s mother language. “Despierta, mi ángel.”
Vaggie flinched slightly, she made a small moan, but refused to open her eyes.
“C’mon babe. Time to wake up.” Charlotte continued, her hand still playing with the soft sliver hair.
“a little longer…” Vaggie breathed out. She opened her eyes a crack, but then closed it again and curled closer to the Princess, enjoying her warmth.
“Today got exercises to be done. Better get up before you’re late to do it.” Charlotte smiled gently as she lifted her hand to pat on Vaggie’s head. “So c’mon. Get up, baby.”
“How cruel of you, princesa…” Vaggie pouted, like she always did when getting woken up too early. Charlotte chuckled, but otherwise helped Vaggie to sat up before moving down from the bed.
She head towards the bathroom and changed her cloths, and grabbed Vaggie’s when she was done.
Vaggie was still sitting on the bed with barely eyes. Charlotte holds her cloths, while moving to sit beside her. “Need me to help you?” She asked, and Vaggie nodded her head. “Turn around.” Vaggie obeyed sleepily, letting Charlotte unbutton her pajama dress from behind. “Hands up.” And took off the dress. “Good girl.”
After getting her girlfriend in dressed, Charlotte adjusted their position to sit behind Vaggie, and started to tied her hair. “I got an idea.” Vaggie said. Charlotte didn’t have to watch her face to see that pretty smile. “What is it?” She asked while stroking Vaggie’s hair with the brush she held earlier.
“What about letting you lead today’s exercise?” The angel said in a smile as she turned slightly to look at her girlfriend.
Charlotte gasped. “You can’t be serious.”
“Yes I am.” Vaggie chuckled. “Wouldn’t that be fun?”
“Turn back around.” The Princess bitted her bottom lips. “Oh Princesa, are you mad?”
“N-No. How can I be mad at you?”
“I just hope you can be closer with them.” Vaggie turned around to allow Charlotte brushed her hair and tied it, but her eyes remained to try to watch her princess in eyes. “That’s unneeded for.” Charlotte simply answered.
She tidied up Vaggie’s loosen hair and kept them together with the ribbon. “But Charlie…This’s our hotel. They are our residents, and friends.” “Friends?” She sneered. “Low demons will not be accepted as a friend of mine.”
“Charlie.” Vaggie warned from the front.
“Sorry.” She sighed. “But I thought we’ve decided before opening the hotel? That you’re in charge the whole thing and I’m the one to keep it working?”
“Yeah but, I think this time’s exercise is totally perfect for you to plan.” Vaggie turned around as Charlotte’s work with her hair was done as the red bow was on its place now. She titled her head slightly, reaching for Charlotte’s hand and covered it with her own. “Then what is it?” Charlotte asked, letting Vaggie squeezed her hand gently.
“Bravery and Teamwork.” Vaggie answered with a smile. “I’ve thought for ways to improve this one, but I assumed you’ll be better to lead this one to a wonderful ending.”
“But I…” Charlotte frowned slightly, her eyes moved away from Vaggie’s gaze.
“Hon.” Vaggie frowned and moved her other hand to cup her princess’s check. “Did I make you uncomfortable?” She asked in anxious. Did I just push too far? Vaggie thought in worry.
“No. You didn’t” Charlotte smiled, turning her gaze back to her angel. “Since I got no work to do, I’ll accept your offer, my lady.” She purred.
“Dork.”
Charlotte laughed. She leaned forward and kissed Vaggie softly at the forehead. “Well then, let’s head downstairs, should we?”
Vaggie nodded. “Yeah, but I’ll have to check the bill first.”
“WHAT?! Charlotte’s in charge today?!!”
Angel shouted out loudly in strong disbelief. “Shush!” Husk groaned from the side. “You wouldn’t want that to be heard.”
“I…got a baddd feeling about thiss.” Sir Pentious poked his head out from behind the couch. “C’mon guys, a new try will always be fun.” Vaggie sighed with a hopeful smile. “No fun when it goes through her! She’s fucking horrible…” Angel pulled his own hair with tremble hands.
“Well Princess leading a stupid project is surely interesting view to see!” Alastor popped out from nowhere.
“Why this guy always appears without warning.” Husk murmured to himself, earned the radio demon’s attention. “Hm?” Alastor questioned.
“Okay now, guys. Better get prepare our exercise’s going to start!” Vaggie tried to cheer up the residents.
“How do we start without-” A loud sound of the front door opening cut off Angel’s complaining. They all turned towards it, finding Charlotte stood at the middle of the opened gate, grinning in her usual devillike smile.
“Time to go, sinners.” She spoke out with raised eyebrows.
“Where are we going?” Vaggie, being the only one have courage to ask, questioned. “To a fun place.” Charlotte winked at her. “A place which totally perfect for today’s exercise.”
Vaggie pay back a smile. “Well then, let’s go.” She told the residents, and get up to head towards the princess.
For the others – including Alastor who rarely joined the hotel activities, could only followed the duo towards their unknown destination.
“Fucking sure ‘bout this?” Angel whispered in defeat. “Gotta follow Princess’s order.” Husk shrugged. “Ugh, how can you guys not fear ‘bout her?” “Who say that? She’s a monster for me!” Sir Pentious argued.
“Princess’s a bad girl, I like her.” Niffty giggled from below as for her low height.
Alastor narrowed his eyes as he silently listened to the resident’s complain about the Princess of Hell. His grin got bigger for no reason, and hummed a joyful melody along the way.
Booms sounded everywhere. Snarling, shouting, and all kinds of sounds you will surely hear in a place where killing or destroying weren’t being control by law. A place where human’s deeply inner lust can be let out without thinking of consequence.
Bodies was everywhere to see. Bloods, fallen buildings or rocks or whatever. These are the only thing you can see from here. And also, devilish laughing and screams will help to destroy your mind, making you crazy and fall apart anytime when you didn’t notice the sharp dagger hanged behind your neck.
And there they were. Watching down this horrible mess of Hell like a pure soul before being punished.
…
“THIS IS HOW YOU LEARN TO TRUST PEOPLE??!” Vaggie’s shout broke the hotel group’s silence.
“A prefect way, babe.” Charlotte answered with a wide grin. She was currently standing behind the terrified group with crossed arms, looking between them and the playing scene below.
“T-Told you I got a bad feeling about thiss.” Sir Pentious said shakily with widened eyes. He slowly backed away from the edge of the rooftop, but almost instantly getting caught by the Princess. “Where do you think you’re going?” Princess asked in a joyful tone, and raised an eyebrow at him. “I-” Before Sir Pentious could finished his sentence, Charlotte dragged him up by his arm and threw him over the broken fences.
“Gotta learn to trust your teammates before your life comes to an end!” Charlotte yelled at the screaming sinner, and then turned his attention to another resident. “And you, gotta show this hotel really works!” She lifted the terrified spider demon off his feet and also tossed him towards the street.
Husk watched in horror. His ears became flat from the scary scene he saw. The bartender wanted to silently passed across the roof to escape but again being caught by Charlotte’s gaze.
“Why being afraid, Husker? You still got your overlord skills.” Charlotte pointed her finger towards him, and raised him up with her magic before doing the same thing to him like the recent two pity demons. “Ah no! Fucki-” That’s the last word he tried to spoke being forced to joined Angel Dust and Sir Pentious.
“Charli-” Vaggie called out.
Charlotte then notice the tiny figure jumping beside her legs. “Me! Me!” “Almost forgot you.” She simply said, and lifted Niffty up to do the same-
“Charlotte!”
She flinched at the noticeable angry voice coming behind her. Charlotte turned around, finding her girlfriend staring at her with an indescribable mood writing in her eyes.
“Y-Yeah?” She asked, still holding Niffty who was too willing to jump down to cause her struggling against Charlotte’s hold impatiently.
Vaggie walked forward. “Put Niffty down.” And Charlotte let go of her, and the cleaning staff fall down with a ‘yay’ voice. “Not like that!” Vaggie groaned.
She leaned over the fence to watch the hotel residents starting their trip to stay alive. “T-This’s not necessary! Charlie, get them back up here!” However, Charlotte shook her head. “Nah, Vags. This is the quickest and most useful way to let them truly learn.” She kept her confident smile.
“But you could find a safer way! This’s too fucking dangerous.” She kept her eyes down to observed her residents below. “That won’t do, Vaggie.” Charlotte argued. “Why? They just need more time-” “They will die for the next extermination before they could even learn well, Vaggie.” Charlotte sighed. “We can only do this quick. And with life threaten, they will surely remember the great lesson.”
“Charlie.” Vaggie turned around to face her girlfriend again.
Charlotte stared right into Vaggie’s golden eyes for the next few seconds. “Please just…it doesn’t have to be like-”
“Fine.” Charlotte broke their eye contact. “Already told you I’m not suitable for this.” “Wha- I didn’t mean-” “I know, I know.” She waved her hand.
The Princess snapped her fingers, teleporting all their residents back to the rooftop.
Angel blinked with his hand dragging the snake sinner. “What the- I was going to open that fucking door! Try to teleport earlier next time?!”
“Ugh, fucking mess.” Husk growled at the back, and Niffty pouted in unjoyful. “I’m not have enough fun yet!”
Vaggie put her gaze across the residents, before landing them back on the Princess again. “Charlie-” But before she could finish, Charlotte disappeared within her portal.
Silence.
“Ah? What now?” Angel asked.
Vaggie stared at where Charlotte went away for a few more second. Emotions running over her chest. And yet, she let out a small sigh before started walking towards the entrance. “Let’s go home.”
“What? I just walked up from this stupid stair!”

Chapter Text
She sighed as she pushed the door open and walked into the room. Vaggie shut the door, after letting the two goats got inside with her.
Vaggie rubbed her eyes in tiredness. Charlotte hadn’t come back from afternoon when she left without a word. Razzle and Dazzle had sensed her lowering emotions but Vaggie still let the guests completed the rest of the exercise before finally let herself dealt with what was trapping her.
The former exorcist continued walking until she reached the soft coach beside the window, where she and Charlotte like to sit down together and rest and enjoy the view of the city.
She sighed again, eyeing the evening view of Hell, something that she usually did with her girlfriend for the most of the time. “Razzle, Dazzle?” Vaggie softly called out, knowing the twins were standing beside her. “What can I do now?”
“Baa, baa-baa… (There’s less we can do…)” Razzle tried, but unknow what to say. Luckily, Vaggie understood. There’s almost nothing they can do when she and Charlotte got into a situation like this.
Since they started dating, and the confession, Vaggie almost forgot what ‘The Princess of Hell’ meant. She almost forgot how violence and ruthless Charlotte was when she saw her soft and gentle side every day.
She enjoyed the soft Princess, too enjoy to forgot she’s the only one to see this side of her. The side of her past self.
Vaggie groaned in frustration when her thoughts reminded her Charlotte’s past self. With Razzle and Dazzle’s help, she knew the outline of Charlotte’s past. How she usually be kind and liked to smile before. How she fought against her worse family. How she learned the world herself despite being trapped in the mansion…
And also her old dream of redemption.
Charlotte didn’t know that, though. She didn’t know Vaggie already read the story of the pass 200 years. Vaggie kept that small secret quite perfectly, huge thanks for Charlotte’s pure trust on her. Sometime makes her guilty when holding this secret which her girlfriend tried to hid away from everyone.
That’s why she tried to get Princess to get along with their residents. One point to let them at least become friends. Another point is to resurgence Charlotte’s fallen dream. Although it almost fails every time, Vaggie knew firmly that she wouldn’t give up on that.
But what happened this morning…was truly a failure.
Vaggie lowered her gaze from the view in guilty. She slightly opened her arms to let the twins buried themselves in her embrace, and caressed their fur slowly.
“I was so wrong today…” She said softly. “Being a fucking bitch, putting the stress on her which she did not deserves…”
“But I don’t know what to do else but let her to plan activities. I thought she might begin to enjoy this, but now it seems she just see it as a job, not a dream anymore…”
“I wanted to see her happy every day, not just be a ruthless ruler of Hell. But now, I’m just making it worst…I’m just making her more unconfident about she can be less violence to others…”
Tears started forming in her eyes as she spoke. “Fuck…” Vaggie cursed, wiping away her weakness. “I kept denying her movements, and it makes her uncomfortable, but she never shows it because…” She loves me. “It’s all my fault, I keep making things worst.”
“Baa-baa (Don’t say that.” Dazzle interrupted. “Baa, baa-baa (She wouldn’t want you to blame yourself for everything.)”
Vaggie stilled, but didn’t respond that.
She exhaled deeply and turned back to look through the window again. “Is she still mad at me?” She asked after a long moment. “Baa-baa, baa (She will not be mad at you for this.)” Razzle said firmly. “Baa, baa, baa-baa (It take times to figure things out, we’re sure she’s dealing with that.)”
Vaggie made a small smile at the comfort.
That’s when she heard some noise coming from downstairs. Vaggie checked the time, probably the guests just finished their dinner that Razzle and Dazzle cooked.
She stood up in order to check on the group downstairs. When she reached the fence above the main hall, Vaggie slightly wide her eyes in surprise.
“Today’s a big damn!” Angel chuckled happily. “You’re super weak, snake guy! How can you fell faint with one punch in face?!” “T-That’ss not my fault!” Sir Pentious hissed. “That guy hass super strength!”
“Whatever, I beat down three bitches by the way, totally perfect fighter for this.” Angel grinned proudly and waved his fist like boxing. “Only three? I kicked seven fuckers’ ass.” Husk laughed in his usual low tone. “What the- HOW??”
Niffty giggled. “It was so fun. I want to do it again!” “Not again!” The snake sinner yelped, his grip on one of his egg boys tighten, almost crashing the egg. “Ha-ha! Fucking coward!”
The group continued to talk – or argue? – about the fight they had in the morning. Vaggie watched silently, and her lips slowly form into a wide smile of happiness and proud.
Charlotte leaned against the fence on top of a building.
She watched the red sky that never changed its colour, with the sign of Pride Ring and Heaven hanged on it. Wind caressed her face, as gently as she felt like her lover’s gentle touch.
She sighed while taking out a cigarette and light it with her power. What the hell did I do wrong? She thought in defeat, remembered Vaggie’s unjoyful expression when she threw all the residents down to the crime scene. I wasn’t wrong, it is the best way to let they learn. Right?
Charlotte exhaled a smoke; her cheek was supported by her hand which landed on the fence. She didn’t know why. Why Vaggie always tried to let her work with those bustards when she had free time from work. She didn’t like that. She hated to have any conversation or physical contact with them.
Are you kidding me? I’m the Princess of Hell. They did not even deserve to have my attention.
She growled slightly at the thought.
But just then, a memory appeared in her mind.
“Hey, Char?” She heard her lover called. “Yes, Vaggie?” “Do you really believe we can do it?” Vaggie asked while cleaning the glasses. “It will work.” She turned to face her lover, her tone firmed. “And if it doesn’t, it’s alright. I’m on your back.”
Her heart melted when she saw Vaggie smiled at her words. “I know, hon.” She giggled. “But, can you do me a favour?” She placed down the pillows on the couch, and turned her attention fully on Vaggie. “Sure.” “Can you promise me you’ll treat our future guests like…emm, less violence?” Vaggie titled her head. “I don’t know how to say but, I hope we can treat them like real friends. That’s how redemption works, isn’t it?”
She smiled softly, and head forward to take Vaggie’s hand with her own. “Of course, my love.” She spoke with love, and planted a kiss on the back of Vaggie’s hand. “I’ll do whatever you ask.”
Vaggie laughed.
Her sharp gaze and frowned eyebrows slowly soften as she reads the memory. It was before they officially opened the hotel. When there’s no one registered but Husk and Niffty being the only two staff.
“Vaggie…” She murmured softly. Her heart ached as she finally realized she just broke the promise she held with Vaggie. What a scumbag I am. Charlotte lowered her gaze.
She reached up and pulled at her hair after throwing the cigarette away. It was so hard. It was so hard for her to deal kindly with other demons except of Vaggie. No, Vaggie wasn’t even a demon. She’s a fallen angel, and the person Charlotte knew she would love her for entire life.
She can be kind and soft to Vaggie. But others…She can’t imagine that point.
But what should I do? Charlotte thought desperately. She didn’t want to let Vaggie feel disappoint about her. She didn’t want to let Vaggie be scared and disgust about her actions. However, it was the main thing Charlotte couldn’t change.
She had already learned the lesson. If she’s going to be the top Ruler of Hell, then mercy and kindness definitely couldn’t fit in her.
She had to be cruel. She had to be strong. Otherwise, she will get through all over those painful punishment again.
Charlotte whimpered as she continued pulling her hair. Her eyes shut tightly.
Although she had to be strong, she couldn’t bare to let Vaggie be sad. What she done in the morning was surely upset her angel. And now she was being a coward, hiding away from her girlfriend when they really needed a talk. “Holy fuck.” She whispered when she felt two black lines were forming above and under her eyes, and her horns and tail threated to show up.
To calm the overwhelming thoughts, Charlotte quickly took a few deep breaths slowly, until her horns and tail slowly retreated in disappoint, and the black lines faded away from her skin.
She opened back her eyes. And slightly widened them, when a figure of Vaggie appeared in front of her. Charlotte stared at the figure, her expression soft and dazed, feeling surprise that she missed her girlfriend this much to caused hallucination.
That’s it. Charlotte thought, a bit tired for managing her demonic figures. I’m not hiding from this. I’m seeing Vaggie.
Charlotte turned around, prepared to summon her wings and head back to the hotel.
Vaggie was sitting in front of her desk, tidying her notes for the hotel activities.
She had taken a shower after returning to the room. Now, her and Charlotte’s room was covered in a comfortable warm light, soft red shined into the room slightly from the window, and an enjoyable smooth perfume Vsggie placed beside the window.
Razzle and Dazzle had gone back to their place. Probably now doing some cleaning job in the kitchen. The residents had mostly gone back to their room for rest, only Husk still being at the bar when Vaggie last saw him, and Alastor again out of sight from afternoon.
That’s when the door gently pushed open. Vaggie had been waiting for it. She turned around, expectedly faced towards the Princess.
Neither of them spokes when their eyes met. Charlotte’s three pairs of black and red wings still hanged on her back, giving answers of how she came back. The wings, a part of Vaggie loves about Charlotte, folded behind her carefully.
Vaggie stood up and approached the same way as her girlfriend did after she closed the door. “Hey, I’m-” Charlotte’s words stopped when Vaggie leaned forward and hugged her, burying her face inside her chest.
Silence.
Slowly, Charlotte hugged back, wrapping her arms around Vaggie’s smaller body carefully, protectively.
…
The girls stayed like this for the next few minutes. And finally, considering it’s long enough, Vaggie pulled back to look at her princess. Their eyes met again, both full of emotions and unspoken words.
“I’m sorry-” They said in the same time.
In surprise and soon came funniness, Vaggie and Charlotte laughed at each other, the heavy feel broke in a second.
Soon, as they both calm down, the angel reached out to took the Princess’s hand, and slowly lead her towards their bed. They adjusted their place, making sure each other were sitting closed enough for a conversation and also comfortable.
“So…where can we start?” Vaggie spoke first, which broke the silence between them. To that, Charlotte scratched the back of her neck quite awkwardly, searching the right words.
“First things first.” Charlotte said out after exhaling a breath. “I’m sorry. I didn’t let things go as expected, I create more danger and making you worry a lot.” Her wings slowly unfolded, attempted to wrap themselves around Vaggie but hesitated to do so. Of course, Vaggie noticed that, but chose to start her words first. “No, Charlie…I’m sorry too.”
Seeing her girlfriend lowered her gaze, she quickly continued. “I’m sorry, I put pressure on you. You didn’t have to take that to yourself.” She placed her hand softly on top of Charlotte’s hand on the blanket, also making it a quiet respond for letting her wings reached for her.
Charlotte raised her gaze back on her, her eyebrows slightly frowned, unsure and searching. “But…you didn’t do any wrong. It was me, finding that place to-” “Shh…” Vaggie interrupted. “We work as a team, remember?” She squeezed Charlotte’s hand firmly. “I know things went a bit harsh back there, but…” She looked away, but smiled. “We’ll figure it out, together.”
Vaggie watched as Charlotte’s eyes widened slightly, warm yellow shined from her eyes. “Vaggie…” She whispered, her wings finally starting to reached for her angel. “And besides,” The angel moved her free hand to Charlotte’s cheek, holding it gently. “Your exercise worked, Charlie.”
“Wait what?” She seemed like she’s going to choked in her own saliva. “Yeah, you heard me.” Vaggie grinned happily. “They enjoyed the horrible fight they had, I heard them talking about it downstairs earlier.”
Vaggie’s eyes soften more as Charlotte’s wings curled around her, bringing her into a warm personal place like an embrace. She sighed softly, enjoying the warmth her girlfriend gave her.
She waited patiently for Charlotte to tidied up the information in her mind. While waiting, she moved her hand from Charlotte’s cheek to played lightly against the red highlighted feathers around her. Even being sharp and devillike, the feathers were still so soft and smooth.
Noticing Charlotte was about to returned to the conversation, Vaggie turned her gaze to her lover. “That’s…un-expe-cted-”
Vaggie gasped at the sudden changed of Charlotte’s voice. “Charlie?!” She watched her girlfriend coughed, held her own neck with her palms and her eyes flinched between yellow and red.
Seemed like she’d lost control in her demon powers.
“Charlie! What’s happening?!” Vaggie moved closer to her, tried to understand the situation desperately. Charlotte’s eyes trembled, her gaze unfocused as the colour kept flinching, but she managed to squeezed out a few words. “W-Wait! Don’t-” She coughed, struggling to keep herself together.
Soonly, before Vaggie’s panic calmed, Charlotte panted harshly, but her eyes had turned back to normal and earning back their focus. Her wings had retreated into her back, while the owner and her lover still confused about what happened in the past 30 seconds.
…
“What…just happened?” Vaggie asked, her voice a whisper.
“I…I don’t know.” Charlotte shakily responded when she found her voice back. With a groan, she held her head with both hands, seeming in pain. “I don’t know…” She repeated, her voice broke.
Without hesitation, Vaggie reached and pulled Charlotte into her arms. She could feel the Princess’s body shook slightly, which made her heart ached.
For a long moment, they hugged each other like this, not saying a word.
Vaggie’s thought raced in her mind. What happened to her? Is it something dangerous? Did she lose control? But it stopped when she felt Charlotte stirred in her arms, and she released her just for check on her.
“Maybe it’s…exhaustion? I’m not sure.” Charlotte didn’t dare to look at her girlfriend. “It never happened before…especially when I’m with you.” Her voice frustrated and insecure. “It shouldn’t have happened…”
“It’s okay.” Vaggie said, holding Charlotte’s shoulder in encourage. “I’ve got you. We’ll make it out together.”
Charlotte’s gaze returned to her lover, love writing on it.
“Together.” She repeated Vaggie’s words, finding comfort in it.
Vaggie smiled. “What about getting some rest, hon? Maybe we can know what happened tomorrow without tiredness.”
The Princess nodded.
Notes:
Remember the woman being Charlotte's creator in this Au? Maybe that will lead to a point. Who knows? :)

Chapter Text
“UGHHHHH…”
Angel groaned loudly as he leaded on the bar. “That fucker sucks!” He used his hand to rubbed his temple, feeling like he was having a headache right now from all those ‘work’ his boss gave him.
“Angel? You good?” He heard the hotelier asked from behind, and responded without moving his current position. “Fuck off, Toots. Don’t try to get me into any exercise today, I’m out.” He waved his hand blindly.
Husk raised an eyebrow, and gave a look to Vaggie. “Valentino really torn you out, huh?” Vaggie walked forward. “Take some rest for now. I’ve got some exercise plan for evening. You wouldn’t want to miss that.” “Oh I really want to.” Angel groaned out again, not looking into Vaggie’s eyes.
Well, it was not enough for him to escape from that one-eyed hotelier.
Soon, as evening arrived, everyone was now sitting on the couch, waiting the host to bring out their activities.
Angel leaned lazily against the back of the couch. The only thing that made him surprised was that Vaggie even made Charlotte to attended, which was a rare thing to be seen. Luckily, and unexpectedly, everyone was not too afraid of the princess anymore. Even though still stunned and fear against Charlotte’s cold gaze or silence threat, but at least now he can feel freer to stay around that woman.
For Vaggie, it was a great thing to see.
“Okay guys, today’s exercise is called ‘Honesty’!” Expectedly, everyone groaned at it. “We’re now going to let you say about your true thoughts of everyone here, including me and Charlotte!” Charlotte froze at that. “One by one. Now…”
Vaggie’s gaze searched around the group. Angel stilled his body, hoping he will not be the first unlucky guy here. “Alastor! What about you being first?” She called out happily, which grand some sigh of relief from the others.
“Oh dear, what a pleasure!” Alastor cheered. “Say out anything I want?” “Yup! Just say anything you want, don’t be afraid!” Vaggie tapped Charlotte’s shoulder with her elbow. “This little woman is not allowed to attack anyone in here, you’re completely safe. Right, Charlie?” She turned to face her girlfriend, her eyes written warning deep down inside. “Y-Yeah…” Charlotte shrugged helplessly.
Angel hummed softly as he watched the little interactive between the couple, but turned back his attention on the radio demon as he cleared his tone. “Well then, I should start immediately.”
He moved his gaze towards the bartender. “You really do a great job as a bartender! But I have an idea to play another game with you, Husker!” His smiled widened. “Wouldn’t that be fun? It was already a year from our first and last game!”
Angel turned his attention towards Husk, and immediately widened his eyes in surprised. Husk’s expression twisted, showing pure rage as he clutched his teeth. “Fucking dare to say that again, you piece a shit!” Husk almost jumped on the table as he roared. The others – except Princess, of course – looked as surprised and shocked as Angel Dust. It was the first time they saw such an angry look on the cat demon.
“Oh my dear, calm yourself! Remember to keep your emotions in check!” Alastor didn’t give a damn on Husk’s reaction, he turned his head towards the snake sinner. “Now you, little snake. Don’t really have a closer thought of you since you’ve been almost unnoticeable in this place, but to say you have a really great self-aware! Just like a standard coward!”
Sir Pentious stunned, and hissed towards him angrily, along with his snake figures expanded. “Niffty little dear.” Again, ignored the sinner’s reaction, the radio demon continued his speech. “Being such a perfect person to do cleaning job! But don’t put any cockroach on my head again, will you?”
“Our lovely hotelier!” He turned towards Vaggie after Niffty pouted at him. “Not sure how you arrived here since none of your behaviour seemed suits Hell, but I gotta praise your childish little mind! Look how many funny games you gave us!”
“Um…y-” “You fucking-” Charlotte interrupted Vaggie’s words, her face showed cold anger as she moved a bit forward to shelter her girlfriend. However, and as relief, Vaggie stopped her. “Charlie, no.” Seeing her princess stopped her danger action, the hotelier made a small smile at her.
“Porn star!” Watching Alastor’s red eyes shot towards him, Angel groaned in his mind. My turn. “How is it feel to being owned soul? What a poor guy you are.”
What the- “What the fuck did you-?!” “Alastor!” Two sounds shouted out in the same time, one from himself, one from Vaggie. “Ok now, stop that Alastor. It’s not pretty nice of you.” Vaggie crossed her arms with narrowed eyes. “Well bowtie, you said I can talk about whatever I want! These how I really feel.” “But you’re only hurting people. Out, Alastor. Time for next one.”
The radio demon seemed like he still wanted to argue, but the next second a pair of threatening red eyes gazed at him. Alastor’s smile twisted a little, but eventually went back to his own seat.
“Next one…” Vaggie again searched around the group.
“Angel! What about you?”
“Fuck- Toots! Seriously?!”
“Gotta let our activity continue.” Vaggie winked. “You can start whenever you’re ready.”
So, as the round turned and turned, finally there’s only two persons left. Charlotte and Husk.
Well, Angel doubted deeply that the Princess would give any speech for this activity, and she got tons of ways to escape Vaggie’s plead if she want to, so the next one will surely be…
“Husk, it’s your turn!”
Perfect. Fully as expected.
Husk sighed deeply. He took another sip of his alcohol, and stood out where he hid behind the couch. “Well, I’ll take short ones.” It was the only warning he gave.
“Snake guy, a poor little ass dealing with his insecure problems.”
“Radio demon, a simple piece of shit that no one cared.”
“Niffty, as crazy as usual, which highly command to have some psychotherapy if here wasn’t Hell.”
“Hotelier, too much energy and clearly not having enough knowledge about sinners.”
“Princess, stubborn and pride, totally make sense as the Ruler of Hell.”
Husk raised an eyebrow and pointed a finger towards Charlotte, who was currently playing with her nails. “Char? Did you hear what he said?” Vaggie asked. “Wha? Nope.” Charlotte blinked, but didn’t seem care.
“See?” Husk sighed.
Angel laughed. “Oh fucking cool, kitty cat! Being the only person dare to describe Princess of Hell, which makes you hot~” He flirted as he leaned close to Husk with the help of his tall height, and turned Husk’s face towards him teasingly.
“And you!” Husk growled at disgust, backing away from Angel’s touch. “Well done as an actor. I can tell I’ve already known who you really are under that fake little disgusting mask.”
“Oh yeah?! How incredible!” Angel snapped. “You really know what ‘actor’ means? And I’m a porn star, dumbass! Don’t dare to act like you’re the only one without disaster here, former overlord!”
Husk’s eyebrows frowned deeply in anger. “Fucking try to say that again, bitch! I still have the ability to kill you with a finger, what makes you think you can cross the line?”
“Ha-ha, how funny! Don’t really know what kind of overlord will choose to stay in a shitty hotel as a bartender?”
“Not ridiculous when a porn star chooses the worst decision every time in his life.”
“You mother-!”
“Enough!” Vaggie’s voice shout through the hall, ending the worthless argue between the sinners. “That’s enough. Today’s exercise wasn’t for you to shout at each other.”
“Well look closely who brings out the fight first!” Angel argued with his finger pointed towards the bartender. “He’s the one being a total shit! Insulting us with his damn little words and acted like a pure soul. What the fuck?!”
“Hm?! Don’t let me remind you what shit we’re doing right now.”
“Oh you better-”
Again, Angel’s words were stopped when his phone’s ringtone sounded from his pocket. “Hold that thought.” He growled out lowly, and answered the phone while ignoring Husk rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, Val?”
“Ah, yes yes. I knew.”
“O-Okay, I’ll be there in a minute.”
He sighed in defeat when Valentino hanged up the phone. “Is that Valentino?” He heard Vaggie’s voice, so he turned to face the group. “Yeah, whatever.”
Angel groaned as he scratched his hair in annoyed. “Gotta get out of here before Val get pissed again.”
That was the last word he said before leaving the hotel for his ‘work’ again.
Vaggie was getting worried.
Since Angel Dust left for his porn star work yesterday, he hadn’t come back.
She started to think if it’s something bad happened, even as her girlfriend and the others told her not to be worry. Well of course, nobody here will give a damn for these little things.
But still, Vaggie felt wrong. Even as Angel left for work, it never took so long. Also, she got activities to do, it can’t start without him.
“Charlie? Can you go look for Angel?” She asked the princess who was playing with her phone on the couch.
“What? Why me?” Charlotte looked big damn surprised, eyes writing disbelief. “Well he’s been gone for too long…and I worried that Valentino had done something bad to him.” The Princess waved her hand. “Don’t worry, that moth knew he’s under my watch, he wouldn’t dare to do such a thing.”
“Yeah but, please? Just for checking?” Vaggie smiled hopefully, and tilted her head slightly. “U-Um…come with me?” Charlotte shallowed, this angel always knows how to get better of her.
“Babe, the hotel…”
“…Is there any chance I can say ‘no’?”
Vaggie leaned forward and held Charlotte’s hands in hers, looking at her with puppy eyes. “Pleaseeeeeeeee.”
Charlotte blushed in this sudden movement, knowing she’s fighting a battle she’ll never win.
“You’re c-cheating.”
“But did I win?” Vaggie stick out her tongue playfully.
“Yeah…You win.”
Charlotte sighed in defeat yet fondly. She got up from her seat, planting a small kiss on Vaggie’s cheek before leaving the hotel.
Notes:
This's a short one, I think.
I hope I didn't mess up, rarely got time to focus and write my stories :]
This chapter didn't mention what truly happened to Charlotte from the last chapter. But don't worry, the answer will slowly appear. Let's hope she'll be okay.

Chapter Text
Walking along the streets was boring. After all, Hell is her home, she’d already went around these places for thousands of times.
But this had been the first time she went out to look for people. Not for work. Not for other purposes as the Ruler of Hell. Not for finding her girlfriend.
Just for looking a sinner. Sinner.
A random sinner that could be replace by anytime.
Charlotte sighed. She still couldn’t believe she’s doing this. Like, what the hell? The great Princess of Hell going out to find a sinner??
Yet, she couldn’t resist it. Not when it was a request came from Vaggie.
She never denies Vaggie’s plead it if wasn’t too far of her ability. Not like Vaggie ever asked that kind of request though. It was just hard to say ‘no’ to that pretty angel, especially with her puppy eyes, cute soft tone, and a plead that never gone terrible. That girl is an angel after all, which’s what Charlotte proud of.
It didn’t take too long for her to reached Valentino’s club. Charlotte hated this place. Too dirty and porn everywhere. She didn’t come too often to the V’s place, just because their place was so boring and with that moth demon, damn she never liked them.
If it wasn’t that Vox and Velvette were useful and they’ve promise Valentino – who’s being the only one useless – wouldn’t make a damn to cross the line, Charlotte was sure he’d be well dead when she clears and control the number of the overlords years ago.
Stepping out from her own thoughts, Charlotte pushed the door open.
Same as usual, big loud music and dancing or sex everywhere, no matter on the table, couch, or a stupid corner. The people there seemed to stun when their eyes landed on her, but Charlotte didn’t care as she just searched around the place, looking for her main target.
But as long as the time passed and she still couldn’t find that spider, she started to get impatient. Where the fuck is that guy?! Charlotte shouted in her mind, just wanted to get that asshole and go back to the hotel to stay with her girlfriend.
So, thinking of the fastest and easiest way, Charlotte teleported herself right towards the main room of this tower, exactly where Valentino rested when no work is waiting for him.
When she arrived, the first thing she saw was the moth laid on the large couch he had at the middle of the giant room. Valentino was back facing her when she worked her magic. He turned around when Charlotte reached the first step forward.
“Who the- Princess?” He wanted to shout off the person until his eyes landed on the familiar blonde hair and crimson red eyes. “What brings you here, your highness?” Said as the moth overlord quickly get up and smiled at her with crossing hands.
“Look for people.” Charlotte simply answered. She crossed her arms and stood in place, watching Valentino with slightly narrowed eyes. “Where is Angel Dust? I need him to attend the hotel projects.”
The moth overlord widened his eyes when the mention of Angel’s name. “A-Angel Dust? Well, I assumed he’s not suitable for now.” He made a forced smile.
“Give me answers.”
“Well…” He shallowed. “You see, Princess. Angel worked for almost a day, he must be sleeping in one of the rooms for now, he needs rest and-”
A hand grabbed his throat in a second.
“Pr-!”
“You don’t get to fool me like this, Valentino.” The Princess raised her eyebrows as she tightened her grip. “Give me straight answers, or I’ll find it myself. You wouldn’t want that to happen.”
She loosened her fist, which dropped the overlord to the ground as he tried to catch his breath. “So, where is Angel Dust?”
“H-He-” Valentino coughed, struggling his words.
Charlotte waited patiently, wanting straight answers so things can be deal fast and simple. However, the moth didn’t seem wanted to let things go easily. “Sorry, Princess. I can’t tell you where that fucker is.”
Her eyes shined dangerously. “I don’t want to say it twice.”
“Princess, it-”
The next second, Valentino was at the floor, being hit by the stomach. He called out painfully, trembled eyes stared right towards Charlotte. “I think I know the answers.” She said slowly. “You did something to him. Terrible enough to afraid me knowing.”
Valentino shook his head quickly. “N-No! I can explain!” “Enough for words.” Charlotte lifted her hand and pointed at the moth, soon a bunch of burning flames trapped him and wrapped around him like a string.
Valentino screamed. He struggled against the fire stings, hoping to escape from it.
“Where. Is. He?”
“In the room!!” Valentino screamed, his expression twisted. “Outside! Straight forward and turn left!”
Charlotte sneered. “Waste of time.”
Following Valentino’s instructions, Charlotte went towards the room he mentioned. It was a room in the corner of the walkway, and when she pushed the door open, she saw what she already expected.
Laying on the floor limply, was Angel Dust. He laid at the dark corner, curled into himself seemed hoping to find some shelter. There was a lot of equipment inside the room, all seemed perfect for sexual abuse.
With a raised eyebrow, Charlotte went forward and kneeled with one knee, checking the sinner’s injury. There was bunch of bruises around his arms, legs, and all visible body parts. Some cuts with bloods were on his neck and face, and his hair was dirty with bloods and dust or slops. Bloods coloured his clothes, leaving an ugly deep red around, and a small trail of blood yanking out of the corner of his mouth. His face clutched, like someone who’s having a nightmare.
Also, she noticed a few of small holes on Angel’s upper arm. Cleary as a pinhole. His face looked green and pale, giving answers what the pinhole was for.
With a sigh of annoyance, Charlotte turned around to face Valentino, who was still tied by the strings without getting burned. He looked at the Princess, unreadable emotions written on his face.
“I guess I gave you overlords too much freedom.” She started darkly.
“P-Princess.” The moth overlord begged.
Without a word, Charlotte kicked him in face, earning a painful growl and the overlord was on the ground in a second. She used her magic to shut his mouth up, feeling too annoyed for the loud shouting.
Charlotte leaned down and grabbed Valentino’s arms, pulled them off one by one. Tears and saliva rolled down of the moth’s face, which made him looked wonderfully messy, created a grin on Charlotte’s face out of pure satisfaction.
“I don’t care about that loser. But remember, your reason of death wasn’t because you hurt him.”
She whispered to his ear in a deep, hoarse voice. “It’s because you’re challenging my ability, fucker.”
Bloods covered the floor in a deep red and Valentino’s wound wouldn’t stop streaming bloods. He whimpered desperately, but despite in huge fear, all he could do was watched helplessly as the Princess raised her claw-
“PRINCESS!!”
A voice shouted through as two figured quickly rushed forward and blocked between Charlotte and Valentino.
The Princess narrowed her eyes. “Vox, even you trying to be heroic?”
“Your highness.” Vox panted out, his eyes landed on Velvette and Valentino for a moment before returning to the Princess. “Please. Leave him alive. I promise it won’t ever happen again.”
“Oh?” Princess smirked playfully. “So, you’re asking me to let a gut survive after it tried to threat my authority?”
“No, your highness. But it was an accident, we promise to keep an eye of his stupid mind.”
Charlotte’s eyes darken. “That doesn’t make any acceptable excuse to trust your words, Vox.” She stood up, standing an attitude of a superior, pride written in her actions. “That hotel is under my watch, and since that sinner over there is one of the residents and your dear partner almost treated him to death, I have the right to assumed it as a threat of my territory.”
To that, Vox and Velvette shared a gaze before turning around together to glared at Valentino, who was still bleeding at the moment. “Princess.” Velvette started. “We’re sorry for such a offend, please give us a chance to rebuilt your trust.”
“What a cute little demand.” Charlotte laughed. She held her jaw with her fingers, eyes narrowed as she thought for a fun decision.
The three Vees stayed their place, waiting patiently and a bit afraid of what will come next.
“A little favour.” Charlotte finally spoke out with a cheer voice. “I’ll have the control over three of your system and place. You wouldn’t be able to deny my decision anymore. Also, none of you will survive if I found you put a finger on Hazbin Hotel’s residents and staffs.”
Seeing the trio widened their eyes in disbelief, Charlotte smirked happily. “You understand me?”
“Sure, your highness.” The trio spoke in the same time, bowing their heads.
After dinner, almost everyone was doing their own things at the hall. Husk being in his bar, Niffty somewhere else, Sir Pentious focusing on the TV show, Alastor again nowhere to be found.
And Vaggie, tidying her notes on the front desk, while waiting for her girlfriend and Angel to return.
Finally, after another 10 minutes, a golden portal opened up at the middle of the hall, grabbing everyone’s attention.
With the portal fully opened, Charlotte walked through it, with a limped body carried over her shoulders. To that, everyone in the hall gasped and widened their eyes. Vaggie was the first to reacted as she rushed towards the duo with worried eyes.
“Charlie! What happened?!” She asked in panicked as Charlotted placed Angel on the couch. Husk and Sir Pentious arrived behind Vaggie, both with shocked eyes too. “This’ss bad.” Sir Pentious commanded.
“Valentino abused him.” Charlotte responded calmly. “He has bruise, cuts, bleeding, and probably internal damage and drug injection.”
“Holy moly.” Vaggie leaded forward to keep her eyes on the fainted sinner. “Husk! Grab the first aid kit!” Said Husk do what he was told.
“Charlie.” Vaggie turned to face her girlfriend. “Can you help to heal him with your magic? It’s hard to heal him from inside with just bandages.”
Charlotte twisted her expression in disgust. “I’ve already got him out and beat that asshole, isn’t those enough?”
The hotelier placed her fingers on Angel’s neck, checking the pulse. Her expression seemed more panicked. “Babe…” She watched the princess in hope. Charlotte groaned. “Fine.”
Vaggie and Sir Pentious moved away, allowing Charlotte to approached to the fainted sinner. She sat on the edge of the couch, reached out her hands above Angel and started working her magic.
Sir Pentious watched in surprise as golden light shined from Charlotte’s hand, and floated their way downwards to merged into Angel’s body. “Wow!” He gasped out, but instantly regretted it as Charlotte shot him a hard gaze. “Shut up.” “Y-Yes, ma’am!”
Husk ran over with the first aid kit on his hand, also surprised at the Princess was healing sinners that she never gives a damn before. Without noticing, he softened his frowned eyebrows for a moment. Long time to see her helping people. He silently thoughts.
“Thanks, Husk.” He handed the first aid kit to the waiting hotelier. Vaggie tidied up the bandages and disinfectant potion, waiting for Charlotte to finished her work on the patient.
When his consciousness came back to him, Angel felt like shit. His whole body was aching, and the drugs Valentino forced to injected was still working which made him wanted to puke.
But except for these, everything else felt…safe. He felt like he was laying on something soft and there was no cold air or laughing around him anymore. And there was a warm feeling coming from his stomach, slowly washing away the pain and nauseous.
In curious and the hope that he might been saved, Angel forced himself to opened his eyes a crack. Warm, yellow light flight into his vision, and he found two blurred figures.
“Angel?” Vaggie asked in a small voice. It took Angel a few seconds to be able to focus. His eyes slowly moved to the figure who was still working magic into him, his eyes widened slightly. “Princess…?” He asked, voice a whisper.
Then, his eyes moved to stare at Vaggie. “Vaggie…”
Vaggie stayed her position as she watched him in worried, while Charlotte moved her gaze at him for a moment, then just focused back on her work.
Still being weak, Angel groaned lowly, his eyes fluttered close again and drifted back to sleep. This time in relax as he knew he was safe.
Notes:
Again, hope I didn't messed up.
btw Thank for all your lovely commands! It brings TONS of motivation.

Chapter Text
Angel…
I’ve already said you can’t escape me.
Look, there’s no one come to find you.
You’ve already belonged to me. That fucking Princess wouldn’t give a shit if you die.
“V-Val…please…”
Oh no, you wouldn’t resist me, will you?
Do you remember your name, after all?
ANTHONY?
Angel gasped out loudly as he shot up from the bed. Cold sweats forming on his face as he panted, haven’t really came out from that fucking nightmare.
No, it wasn’t a nightmare. It was totally what happened before he was saved.
“Motherfucker.” He heard a low male voice coming from his right. Angel turned around, finding Husk standing there with a towel on his hand, seemed shocked from his sudden woke up.
Angel stared at the cat demon in surprised. Why the hell is he being here? He looked down to his body, bandages covered his arms and chest, his legs couldn’t be seen because of the covers. The memory of Charlotte working her magic to him and Vaggie looked at him with worried written in her eyes shot through, sending realization towards him.
“Done with your mind thing?” Husk asked lazily from above. He threw the towel on the small table beside his bed, and crossed his arms to looked at him. “Why the fuck are you here??” Angel asked in confused.
“Vaggie’s command of course.” Husk rolled his eyes. “Or why will I stay here in this shitty room to take care of a fool who almost died from his boss’s hands?”
Angel groaned lowly. “Shut up, asshole.”
He then sighed, slipping back into the sheets for pure exhaustion and…shame. “Is Vaggie or any of you brought me back from there?”
“Hah, you will be surprise. It is Princess kicked your ass back.” Husk made a small laugh. “Wait WHAT?!!” Angel almost jumped up from the bed, his head shot towards the cat demon with widened eyes. “You’re not fuckin’ kidding are you??”
“Who will bored enough to joke at you?” Husk sighed. “Vags told her to look for you, as you know the kind hotelier was worried of your disappearance.” He started to explain. “Princess carried you back on her shoulders after around 2 or 3 hours, and that’s how the it goes.”
Angel, who’s still in high disbelief, mumbled. “That’s…a new experience.”
“Y’know, it’s been a long time to see Charlotte helping others except her girlfriend.” The bartender said while sitting down on a chair. “I kinda miss that, though.”
Angel frowned. “Why the fuck are you always acting like you knew Charlotte better than any of us?” He crossed his arms. “Are you two like old friends or something worst?”
“Well you rarely got this close towards the answer, porn star.” He sneered. “But don’t think I trust you enough to tell the stories. If you’re curious enough to ignore your disgusting injuries, I can only tell you we’ve known each other longer than any of you here, including hotelier.”
“Wha- How?!”
“Will there be any moment for you to stop asking questions?” Husk groaned in annoyed. “Apart from that, care to explain why risking your worthless life? Vaggie told me to ask you once you’ve restarted.”
Angel’s expression darkened in a second. “Risk my life?” he laughed. “Well maybe that’s a right point, but did I have any other choice?”
Suddenly, his expression turned to hatred. “That motherfucker owns my soul! SOUL! I didn’t have any chance to deny him!” His hand moved along with his speech. “And don’t fucking act like you cares about me, you piece of shit. After everything you’ve treated me did you or that shitty fucker thinks I can open up to you?”
“Don’t talk like I fucking gives a shit about you either.” Husk growled as he frowned his eyebrows and stood up, pointed a finger at Angel. “If it wasn’t Vaggie called me to be here, you will wake up to an empty room that tells you nobody here cares who you are. Charlotte saved you also just because that woman called her too, and the reason Vaggie wanted you to be back purely she wants everyone attend her activities. If you died, she wouldn’t give a fuck too.”
“DID I ASK ANY OF YOU TO SAVE ME??!!”
The sudden snap from Angel did actually scared Husk. He widened his eyes in shock and took a step back. There’re tears started to stream down from Angel’s eyes, as he continued shouting even though that made his throat burns. “I didn’t ask Charlotte to save me, and I didn’t ask you to take care of me. I DIDN’T ASK FOR ANY OF IT!!
Did you think I really wanted to be here right now?! I would FUCKING rather to just died in there, so that I CAN ESCAPE FROM ALL OF THIS SHIT!!”
Husk stayed silence, too speechless from what he had heard. Angel sobbed, and panted heavily from all the shouting.
“That’s it? All because you being such a coward?” He slowly spoke after a few moments of silence. He saw Angel looked up to him with a hard gaze, but Husk ignored it. “Maybe it can all be better if you acted more real, and not this shit version of yourself. Always pushed against my boundaries, and teased around with others in this hotel.”
Husk took a step forward, crossing his arms. “Tell me, how many times you give Vaggie a disgusting joke every time on her exercises? Mess with that snake when he tried to do something, and tricked Niffty when she was doing her job?”
He raised his eyebrows. “It can all be better but you didn’t want to! If you just…cut the act, then mayb-”
“IT’S NOT AN ACT!!” Again, Angel snapped. “It is my escape, where I-I can just roll out and don’t fucking think about those shit! Those shit which I h-hate so much!”
His expression twisted. “A-And once I thought, if I ruined myself enough, he won’t see me as his favourite toy, and maybe he’ll…let me go.” The actions were rough as he wiped his tears away, not caring his own fingers stabbed his eyes. “But I was wrong! H-He wouldn’t fucking care! Nobody will care! So, my only decision is die! But you all ruined it!!”
…
Angel rolled over to the side, back facing Husk as he curled up crying on the bed. He hugged himself tightly with his four arms, cried and cried ‘till he had nothing left.
Husk stood in place. His eyes slightly widened with frowned eyebrows, clearly not quite sure what to say or act for now. What a fucker… He thought.
…
Sighing, he sat back on the chair after moving it closer towards the bed. He held his chin with his fist, stared forward but not looking at the crying sinner on his side. It’s been a long silence between the two, only the now small sobbing could be heard.
“…You know I was once an overlord, aren’t you?” Husk was the one to spoke first. “Yeah, I still got my powers, and retired at a too young age than other retired- or died overlords. But I was almost going to be worse than a retired overlord.”
Finally, his words attracted the crying’s attention. “I was a gambler. A gambler that never taste lose before I met that radio demon a year ago.
He found me and told he wanted to challenged me, and of course I accepted. Well, for the one that never lose a gambling, how can I reject another money and strength? However, that’s the biggest mistake I ever made.
He cheated, and won me at that game. I couldn’t believe it at first and attempted to beat him up, but I was instantly dragged by the bet we set. He wanted my soul as an exchanged. In that part, I was totally despair. I thought I was going to lost my everything once and for all.
But, an unexpected person came and saved me from that fucker’s hand.”
Angel was now turned back around and watched Husk in eyes. Husk stopped for a second, eyeing the spider before continued.
“Princess came, and destroyed the soul contact between me and radio demon.”
Angel widened his eyes in shocked.
“She took me out from that place while Alastor can do nothing but silent growls. I asked her why did she came to save me, and she only asked me to be the bartender of this hotel as a payback.”
“How surprised it is, huh?” Husk chuckled.
“Why is she saving you?” Angel spoke out as he calmed himself from his breakdown. “Like I said, we met before. A past that none of us wanted to mention, especially her.” Husk looked up to the ceiling as if he was drifted back to the past. “But I just want to told you, Charlotte may seem like she didn’t care, but this hotel…I think this place was still special to her. Maybe she didn’t give a fuck on us as person, but she’ll still protect us because we’re members of Hazbin Hotel.”
“And about Vaggie, she does cares about everyone in here. Including you. Everything I said she won’t care for you is wrong. She will, and I think she’ll be the saddest if you died.”
…
Angel stared at him. His eyes, filled with emotions that Husk never seen in his fake self.
But now, Angel finally pushed down his acting skills and showed his true behaviours.
“…I know.” He choked out. “I know those two cares. Or why will I be here now?”
“See? It doesn’t have to be difficult.” Husk shrugged. “You just let yourself believe it was difficult.”
“Difficult of what?”
“Your own feelings.”
The two stared at each other. The hardness of the fight earlier before seemed to melt slowly.
Angel was awake. It was the best news Vaggie heard today.
She rushed up to Angel’s room when Husk texted her the message. Surprisingly, the two seemed get along with each other so well. Even with the often joking at each other or an argument, they still seemed to be closer than before.
Another good news to Vaggie.
“Angel, is the bandage feeling good?” She asked as she was changing Angel’s bandages with Husk’s help. “Nothing wrong, toots.” Angel responded with a shrug, watching as the hotelier carefully wrapped the new bandages on his arm.
“And…” He continued, head turning aside. “Thank you, Vags. For taking care of me.”
Vaggie shot her head up in quite shock. Her eyes widened and mouth opened slightly. “…What? Is it that surprising?” “DEFINITELY.” She said out loudly, almost attempted to wrap her arms around the patient.
They heard Husk chuckled from the side.
After a while of change dressing and wrapping clean bandages, the trio took a rest on their place. Vaggie and Husk on the chair, Angel on the bed.
“Is Charlotte available? I wanna thank her too.” The spider sinner asked, after they took a while for some random talking.
“I’m not sure, she’s been working after she’d done healing you.” Vaggie thought for a moment before answering. “Oh? Not afraid of her anymore?” Husk teased. “Shut up.” Angel groaned.
“After all, she saved me.” He said with a small smile on his lips.
A sniff came from the side. “Oh god, how wonderful…” Vaggie’s eyes was now watery, as she shed some tears away. Husk and Angel looked at her like every time she did some too-emotional things, but otherwise smiling with a sigh.
The hotelier grabbed her phone and called the Princess. But however, she didn’t pick up. “Well that’s unexpected.” Vaggie hummed. “Never mind! Let’s go to her office.”
“What the- really??” Angel gasped. “Of course! You ok for walk?” “Hold onto me if you couldn’t.” Husk added.
Eventually, the three arrived to Charlotte’s office. Vaggie, being the only one allowed to, knocked at the door and called. “Charlie, Angel wants to see you!”
They waited for a moment, but there’s no respond from inside. “Charlie?” Vaggie called again. No respond. Angel frowned, sharing a confused gaze with Husk who was supporting him standing. “Charlie, I’m coming in.”
She waved her hand slightly, told the other two to wait outside. Vaggie pushed the door open, and immediately knew the reason that why she didn’t get reply from her princess.
Right in front from the door, where the office table were and also where Princess do her work, Vaggie saw Charlotte, head resting on the table with arms supporting and a black tail waved lazily behind her. Just like a cat does when they were resting peacefully.
“Oh babe.” Vaggie whispered to herself, approaching to her Morningstar. Husk peeked from the door, also surprised from the scene. “Princess’s sleeping.” He told Angel.
“Leader always got so much work, isn’t it?” Angel asked.
“Yeah, never changed.”
Meanwhile, Vaggie bow slightly for a better angle to looked at Charlotte. Brushing the bangs from her face, allowing Vaggie to saw Charlotte’s tired face as she breathed slowly from her sleep. She moved her attention to the tail, a sign of whenever her girlfriend got too exhausted or stress from those annoying paper works.
“Let’s get you to bed, sweetie.” She said quietly as she picked Charlotte up by arms and carried her in a princess style. A few and easiest way that she wouldn’t let Charlotte’s legs hit the ground as for their height difference. Some papers dropped to the ground from their actions. Vaggie took a note at it, reminded herself to tidied the mess up later or tomorrow.
“Sorry, this girl’s not available for now.” Vaggie said to Angel and Husk. “Never mind. I’ll get her tomorrow.” Angel laughed out. “But anyway, this’s the first time I ever see her so…harmless? Fucking rare enough.”
Vaggie rolled her eyes but with a smile. Managed to slightly waved her hand to the two sinners, she carried her tired Princess back to their room.

Will Angel finally become friends with Charlotte after he accepted Vaggie and Husk?

Chapter Text
The next morning.
Angel waited at the bar, his eyes sometimes watching Husk cleaning the glasses, sometimes staring at the staircase, waiting for Charlotte or Vaggie to show up.
“…You think she’ll give a damn on me?” Angel asked Husk, his brows frowned in unsure.
“Relax, all you’ll get worst enough is just some hurtful words or threat.”
“That doesn’t sound better, asshole.”
Finally, after another ten minutes of waiting, Angel saw the blonde walked down the stairs, heading her way towards the kitchen. “Princess!” He called out, jumped off from where he sat and moved towards the Princess.
Charlotte turned to stared at him with a raised eyebrow. “Princess.” Angel repeated, as he watched her with a bit nervous in his voice. “I…I want to thank you, for saving my life.” He scratched the back of his neck, staring down at the girl in front of him.
“Anything else?”
“What?” Angel blinked.
“If not, don’t fucking waste my time.” Charlotte simply said, and walked away.
…
“I-I mean it!” Angel tried, but just getting ignored instead.
He heard laughing from the bar. Angel turned his head to gazed at the bartender hardly, only getting another mock from him.
“What’s so fucking funny?!”
“Ahaha! It goes as I expected, y’know, freaking hilarious.”
Charlotte sliced the ham and placed it onto the bread, along with a piece of cheese and lettuce. She also prepared a cup of tea, with a little sugar, just the way Vaggie liked.
After getting everything settle, she opened a portal connected to her bedroom, and stepped in with Vaggie’s breakfast on the plate she’d holding.
“Babe, breakfast’s ready.” She called in a gentle tone, just at time when Vaggie walked out from the bathroom. “Aw, Charlie! You didn’t have to.” Vaggie looked surprised at first, but her eyes soon filled with love.
“You know I’ve already did, so quit it, Vags.” The Princess smiled. She walked over and placed the plate on the small table beside the couch neared the window, and led her girlfriend to sat down.
As Vaggie started to enjoy her meal, Charlotte rested her head on her palm, watching her angel like she’s the pretties artwork she ever seen. “Have you eaten?” Vaggie checked. Charlotte nodded, and kinda felt guilty as it was a lie. After all, she didn’t feel the need to eat, but worrying her girlfriend was unacceptable.
“Also, are you okay?” Again, Vaggie checked with concern in her expression and voice. “You usually don’t fell asleep when you’re working, unless you’re feeling too much stress-” She frowned. “-or have burned yourself out.”
To that, Charlotte turned her head away and chewed at her bottom lips. “U-Uh…” She swallowed, finding the right words to say. “Y’know, there’s a damn number of paper work waiting for me to process, especially after I beat Valentino up and took a while to heal Angel Dust.” She sighed, and scratched the back of her neck. “I maybe deal things a bit harsh back there, but I can’t allow any fools to try to challenged my authority. If I just allow them to, it will cause a lot of trouble. Here’s Hell, after all.”
A hand moved to her cheek and turned her head. “I know, hon. And I’m sorry to make you a lot busier.” “Why are you sorry? None of this involved you.” Charlotte nuzzled against Vaggie’s palm, but brows frowned in confuse. “I was the one who called you to look for Angel…So somehow I still got the duty of it.”
Charlotte shook her head. “No, you made the right choice.” She smiled softly. “You saved that sinner, and you helped me figure out someone’s crossing the line before it’s too late.” And kissed Vaggie’s palm. “You are the hero yesterday.”
“Charlie…” Vaggie breathed out.
“Nah, don’t try to argue with this. I’m right, and you know it.”
The angel leaned in and pressed a kiss on Charlotte’s lips. A light one, which made Charlotte groaned when she pulled away. “Love you.”
“Love you too, my angel.”
The girls chuckled.
He pushed all the ducks off the table.
Slammed his fists on the wood, the man panted harshly. “Why can’t I FUCKING do this?!” He yelled in annoyed.
He had spent thousands of time to finished those fucking ducks, but none of it fits what he really wanted.
None of it was perfect. None of it.
With a groan, he crashed himself back on the couch. And soon, as the room was refilled with silence, he can feel his heart threatening to beat out of his ribs. It wasn’t supposed…to be like this. He can feel himself getting crazier after all these years.
The years which he had been all alone. All. Alone.
No noises. No sounds from people or demon or whatever. No even a radio broadcast.
Just silence. Only his own voice, and sounds when he tried to design another duck or doing things to keep himself alive.
However, and he should expect that, all of it was getting harder and harder as the time past. He would feel dizzy at some random points, unable to breath normally when he tried to sleep, having unexplained headache and stomach ache when he woke up. All of these just kept telling him a truth.
He needed someone. At least, someone.
He rubbed his head with his hand and stood to walked towards the door. Pushing it open, and stepped into the corridor where he had walked through more than he could count. He walked along the way, passing the rooms, living room, kitchen, restroom, the main hall…everything. Everything of this building. His home.
How long since he ever stepped out of his mansion?
Wow, this will be a tough question to answer. He stared at his cane and lost in his thoughts. Few years ago. A pretty long time for human being. After his wife left him for no reason – no, maybe there’s a reason, which he refused to accept. But no matter how hard he told himself it wasn’t true, he knew it was all a lie from deep inside.
Their relationship had broken. Nothing can place the piece back together.
But no, he was not alone yet. It was…The day the everything had completely changed was…
The day his daughter left him, too.
Daughter.
His daughter.
He clutched his cane hardly, teeth pressing tightly.
His daughter left him. His wife left him.
Everyone left him. Everything.
The Sins. His siblings. Also gave up on him. He already knew that.
…
His legs given up, causing him to crashed onto the floor. Shaking breaths revealing the hidden tears as everything lost their grip and give in to the hardness.
He cried.
God. Look how awful he was. Being the literally King of Hell, and living like a rat in the alley? How a special King he was.
Between his roughly cries, he unconsciously mumbled the words he hadn’t spoke for years. “Charlotte…” The name of his…daughter, surrounded him. He didn’t expect that but now it seemed knowing clearly his daughter was here and the easiest one he could reach was the only thing grounding him. The only thing kept him in reality.
Charlotte.
He gasped at the thought, shakily stood up and rushed back to his room, even though almost tripped himself for 5 times along the way.
He roughly searched around his room. Cabinet, bookshelf, closet, table, bed, the small mountain which was full of ducks.
“No, no, no…” He murmured to himself.
Why?
Why there’s no picture of his daughter?
Slamming the door opened again, he rushed down and began searched anywhere he could expect to find a single photo.
He found a photo of his old friends.
He found a photo of all Sins, including him, smiling.
He found a really, really old photo of Heaven.
He found a photo of his wife.
…
But no any of these included Charlotte.
…
That’s when the moment he realized, he couldn’t quite remember his daughter’s look.
Her face. Her voice. All now a blur memory that was hard to find.
He panted harshly. Breaths coming to a quick motion, each one sharp and shallow.
…
When was the last time he actually looked at his daughter?
…
…
No more of this.
He is going to find her.
…
And take her back with him.
…
She didn’t have the permission to leave him.
“Okay, guys! Let’s start our exercise today!”
Again, pairs of groaning filled the hall, but otherwise the guests began to concentrate of what Vaggie prepared.
While doing the bonding exercise, Angel looked around, attempted to find someone. “What are you looking at?” Vaggie asked. “Where’s Charlotte?” Angel simply asked as he noticed he hadn’t seen the Princess since this morning.
He hadn’t given up, though. Damn, he needed the Princess to put her eyes on him…Wait, is it a bit weird to say like that? Never mind. He just wanted to see how far he needed to go to have Charlotte finally not see him as a worthless sinner, and it’s fun to challenge that.
“Wait a sec, Satan texted me.” Charlotte gasped out as she pulled away from their kiss. Vaggie nodded, waited patiently with her arms supporting herself above the Princess. Well, after she finished her breakfast, she was so fucking hungry for her girlfriend’s lips and currently pressing the Princess below her on the ground.
After a while, Charlotte frowned slightly with a sigh. Just as she’s going to spoke out, Vaggie leaned down to bit at her neck. “V-Vaggie,” Charlotte blushed, one hand holding her phone and the other one held at Vaggie’s hair. “Let me finish.” The Princess managed to gasp out, and crawled backwards to free herself from her angel’s touch.
“What does he say, Hon?” Vaggie, finally snapped out from her lust, asked. Charlotte scratched the back of her neck and sighed in frustrated, answering her questions.
“Oh. She’d leave to Wrath ring this morning, dealing some meeting and works.” Vaggie answered, remember the small interrupt between them this morning. “Well she won’t be back for at least a day.”
“What the hell.”
Husk laughed. “This guy’s struggling to have Charlotte accept him.”
“Wait what?” Vaggie’s eyes sparked. “You heard me. That one thanked the Princess this morning, and got ignored instead.”
“Better shut up, asshole.” Angel groaned in embarrassment.
Vaggie smiled at the scene. “That’s how the process work.” She shrugged. “She…needs a lot of time to trust a person. And she believes that any lower rake doesn’t deserved her attention.” Vaggie sighed, remembered she’d spent 7 months to grand Charlotte’s trust, and 3 more month to finally have her to be her girlfriend. Surely, these times did work hard.
“Well then you’re ssso ssstrong to receive that kind of girlfriend.” Sir Pentious command from aside. “Agree with that.” Angel added. “I’ve been here for almost a year and yet the Princess still doesn’t give a shit on me.”
“Bruh, I’ve known her for about half centuries and yet she still acted the same to me.” Husk sighed. “That fully showed our hotelier is the most special one.”
“O-Okay, guys. Stop that topic.” Vaggie blushed as the conversation turned far away from what they were supposed to do right now. “Focus! Continue our exercise.”
After a few more minutes, the door bell rang unexpectedly. Everyone in the hall turned their head, wondering who will visit the hotel at this moment. “Hold on.” Vaggie simply said as she stood up and head towards the door.
“Welcome to Hazbin Hotel!” Vaggie said as she opened the front door, finding whoever was at the door now.
However…
She stunned when she saw a man, almost the same height as herself. He’s wearing a black and red suit, with a red metal headband around his head which shaped like horns. But none of this was important.
The one which made Vaggie stunned, was how he looked so similar to Charlotte.
Blonde hair with lighter highlights. Red eyes above soft yellow sclera. Pale skin. The cute red circle on cheeks. And the cold eyes which Charlotte showed to others.
…Almost the same.

Chapter Text
The man stared at her with cold gaze. Vaggie shallowed nervously. She thinks she might know who he is at the moment, but with a little unsure, she still asked. “Well, sir. Are you going to join the hotel?”
Oh god, she didn’t know what she was asking. It was all too hard to handle for a sudden.
“What? How could you don’t know who I am?” The man groaned.
“Um…Sorry, sir. I don’t really know what you mean.”
He tapped his cane on the floor. “I’m Lucifer. The King of Hell.” He said, watching Vaggie in disdain.
The words sent a storm through Vaggie as she widened her eyes.
He really is…
He is Lucifer.
…
He’s Charlotte’s father.
“What fuckin’ take you so long, toots?” Angel’s voice sounded from inside. Before Vaggie could answer, Lucifer frowned and pushed her aside to stepped into the building.
Once the man showed in front of everyone in the hall, most of them widened their eyes in surprised. Angel, Husk stood up while Sir Pentious a little stunned to move. “Who the hell are you?” Angel called out, but the cold sweats already explained his unsureness.
Ignored the sinner, Lucifer stood at the middle of the hall, observing the place. Meanwhile, Vaggie already joined the group, her eyebrows frowned in uneasiness. What is he doing here? She thought, as her first impression of the man was super bad after hearing what he had done to her princess.
Husk stood more forward than the others, already recognized the man who was uninvited. “That man is dangerous.” He said quietly to the group.
“I-Is he…?” Sir Pentious asked from behind. “Yes. He’s Charlotte’s father.” Vaggie answered, her eyes remained on the man. “Oh god.” Angel gasped out.
Lucifer stayed at his place, eyes moving side to side to observed the whole building. “She hasn’t given up on her stupid dreams, huh?” He whispered to himself, but loud enough to be heard by the group.
Angel and Sir Pentious raised their eyebrows in confused, but then the man spoke out. “Where is Charlotte?” He asked, while not moving his eyes on them. “Why should we tell you?” Vaggie was the one who answered.
Immediately, Lucifer turned to glared at her. “How dare you to speak like that to me, sinner?!” He walked forward. “I can make you disappeared in front of me right now! So tell me, where is my daughter?!”
The room fell in silence from the King’s anger. Husk remained his position, considered that he’s currently the most powerful being in the group. Vaggie kept her gaze on Lucifer, feeling a bit worry without either her spear or her princess beside her.
But even with her spear and the help of Husk, she knew clearly that none of them would be able to fight back if Lucifer really dare to charged. Now with Charlotte’s absent, avoiding any fights will be the only and the best solution.
“Even if we tell you where she is, you won’t be able to see her for at least a day.” The hotelier spoke, trying to control the situation. “What? Why?!” Lucifer growled.
“She’s at Wrath ring.” Husk answered this time.
“Wrath ring??” The man widened his eyes in shock. “Why the hell will she be in Wrath ring?!”
“Deal with some leader works of course.”
“Leader works?!” Lucifer raised his voice again.
The man groaned lowly in anger. Red horns grew up from his forehead, followed by the threatening flames. His eyes turned full red, as he growled at the group like a furious beast. “You better tell me the truth or else I’ll find out myself, sinners!” He yelled. “Charlotte? Leader? Do you ever realize what the fuck you all saying?!”
Husk, who gazed at the King of Hell in disgust and moved forward to shelter the group behind him, sneered. “Well, your highness. You don’t have the right to judge our Princess like that.” He laughed. “Being too trapped in your own world to never realize the rules had already changed?”
Lucifer seemed shocked. “What the hell do you mean? I’m the one in charge! You dare to challenged my-”
“Oh c’mon, use your mind, short king!” Angel interrupted while rolling his eyes. “Hah! You think you’re still in charge when you just disappeared for centuries?” Husk laughed out.
“W-What?” The King widened his eyes, and Vaggie was so done.
“If you’re here to mess with Charlotte, then you’re welcome to go.” She spoke coldly, a tone that the hotel’s residents never heard before. “I am the hotelier, and I can and will kick you out of here if you wanna create trouble in my place.”
“This’s not Charlotte’s hotel?” Lucifer gasped. “But I know she’s here, and I’m going to see her.”
“Then I’m ordering you to leave.” Vaggie lowered her voice.
Charlotte rested her head on her arm as she laid tiredly on the table.
It wasn’t a long meeting, but completely exhausting. She groaned lowly in annoyance, before she felt a hand landed on her shoulder.
The touch made her jolted up. She turned around with a hard gaze, only meeting Beelzebub looked at her with a smile. “Aw my dear, don’t have to be so violent!” She cheered. “It’s always safe and sound with your aunts and uncles.”
“Don’t act like we’re close, Beelzebub.” Charlotte narrowed her eyes. “Oh my, that hurts!” The Sin of Gluttony held her hands on her heart with over dramatic expression, only making the Princess groaned and turned away from her.
Beelzebub laughed but sighed. She walked closer, taking a seat beside Charlotte, even though it made the younger slide further away. “Well, you know we’re not like your father, right?” Beelzebub started with a relax but somehow sadly tone.
“Even not, it doesn’t make any proof to trust you guys.” Charlotte said. “You are Lucifer’s siblings after all.”
“I know, I know.” Beelzebub managed to laughed out. “Did Asmodeus or Satan mentioned we don’t trust Lucifer anymore?” She asked. “And that we already see you as the new Sin of Pride, even that man haven’t pass the throne to you?”
“Satan did.”
“Here you go.” Queen Bee smiled. “We trust you. You’ve already proof you’re all way better than the fallen angel.
So, what makes you believe your aunts and uncles are not trustable?” She said, while moving her hand trying to land on Charlotte’s shoulder.
“Are you trying to advance that my decision is wrong?”
Beelzebub widened her eyes in shock as Charlotte shot a cold gaze at her. “Even though you are technically my aunt, but you’ve done nothing as an aunt except keep disturbing me in work.” The Princess narrowed her eyes, fangs showing dangerously. “I’m here because I am the Ruler of Hell, not because I’m your fucking niece or whatever. If you keep trying to talk like you know everything ‘bout me, I suggest you could stay away from my view.”
“C-Charlotte! That doesn’t include anything I wanted to mean.” Beelzebub tried, but it didn’t make the situation become better. “So? I don’t care. Now get away from here.” The Princess sneered.
Queen Bee stayed her place for a few more seconds, then released a sigh. “Tell us if you need anything, okay?” She said one last time before retreating from the room.
Charlotte again groaned lowly as the door clicked close. Her tail had popped out without her notice, and it swings behind her lazily.
“What a bitch…” She murmured to herself.
It showed that she has a really big trust issues against the other Sins. Charlotte wouldn’t denied it, and actually glad she didn’t trust them that easily like she did to the overlords in the past.
She knew clearly that they, as her uncles and aunts, seemed to…love her? As their niece.
But, they are her father’s siblings after all. And Every. Single. Part. Of Lucifer is not worth to trust. So, she just sees them as work partner. The Members of Seven Deadly Sins. Yet there always some moments when they wanted to ‘cross the line’.
And fuck damn it, it was always so annoying. Charlotte shut her eyes, her mind flew into negative thoughts that she had already used to.
Where were them when the young Charlie needed them?
And why they’re here now when Charlotte doesn’t need them anymore?
Now, she has Vaggie. Nobody else matter.
If it wasn’t the rules…that Hell was created by Seven Sins, she will not let anyone held the tallest rank with her.
But the fact that she’s already the top Ruler even without the throne, it was a great news, and Charlotte was appreciated.
Letting a breath out from her nose, Charlotte tried to be as relax as she could, and getting some rest from a short nap.
…
Suddenly.
Charlotte jolted up from her recent position with widened eyes. She moved her hand to feel her own chest, her body shaking slightly in disbelief.
The soul connection.
Vaggie.
She let out a few shaken and fast breaths as she focused on the feeling, checking again and again that she didn’t feel wrongly.
The red fog was unstable.
Vaggie.
Vaggie’s in danger.
The thought sent her to stood on her feet and quickly opened a portal, then rushed into it with rough steps.
Vaggie’s hurt.
Vaggie’s in danger!
“How
Dare
YOU??!!”
Lucifer roared as he charged at Vaggie. His hand raised up, preparing the attack while the rest seemed to stun from the King’s sudden snapped.
Husk was the first to reacted, but it was too late as the man flied passed him and his claws-
ROOAARRR!!!
The loud roared was the thing they heard before Lucifer flew away and crashed into the wall on their left side.
Vaggie reopened her eyes. “Razzle, Dazzle!” She gasped out when the two goat demons, shaped differently than usual as they were now wore a dragon look, stood in front of them with demonic hiss towards the man.
“Razzle…” Lucifer groaned lowly, standing up from where he was crashed into the wall. “Dazzle!”
He stood up shakily. The crash was rough, rough enough to make a small trail of blood – golden blood – running down from his forehead. But, as unexpected, he smiled widely.
“Dear guardian of my daughter…What a great choice to protect that little woman.” Lucifer chuckled. “Did I mention both of you, as my creation, have no right to dare fight back me?”
With a raise of hand, Razzle and Dazzle widened their eyes followed a whimpered. Their dragon form disappeared in a second, and they curled into themselves, whimpering in pain.
Vaggie gasped, and kneeled down to keep the twins in her arms. “Razzle, Dazzle! What happened?!” She asked worried, as the twins started sweating.
Angel, Husk and Sir Pentious frowned at the scene. Husk walked and stood in front of Vaggie, glaring at the King of Hell. The other two sinners followed as well, trying their best to shelter the trio behind them.
“You’ll regret when Charlotte comes back.” Angel warned, but the cold sweat on his cheek showed his nervous.
“Oh?” Lucifer smirked.
Suddenly, a blow shot right towards Angel. He yelped as it cut through the side of his leg, and also Vaggie’s right cheek.
Sir Pentious tried to covered them, but another attack came and he was hit right on his stomach.
“Even though she’s coming back…I can already kill all of you, and all she will see is a bunch of bodies.” Lucifer laughed.
Husk growled and flied a card towards him, but been blocked easily.
It was a test, as the cat demon kneeled slightly, spreading his wings to managed to cover all the other behind him.
He knew even as an overlord, he had no fucking chance to win against that guy. Lucifer was at a large number higher than him. If he just charged or fight back, he’ll disappear from this world less than a second.
Vaggie watched helplessly. God, she needs to get her spear to help Husk, but how can she move away from here when the threat was right in front of them?
Angel had fall down on his butt when Lucifer cut his leg, the wound was bleeding and Sir Pentious was blow a few meters away behind them. Razzle and Dazzle was still infected by Lucifer’s powers on them and now, Husk was the only one able to fight back.
But Vaggie knew clearly, none of them could win against the King.
Charlotte… Vaggie begged, feeling the trail of blood from the cut on her cheek.
“So, what can you do now?” The King asked. The blood on his forehead faded away with just a snap of fingers, and he walked closer towards the group, smiling dangerously. “Let me guess, stay and wait for your death or-”
SMASH
A fist hit right towards his face.
Lucifer yelled at the moment he felt weightlessness, and he was crashed into the opposite wall. But rougher than the time Razzle and Dazzle beat him. The punch was more powerful.
Three pairs of black and red wings showed in his blurry vision, along with shining red eyes.
“Long time no see, father.”

Chapter Text
Lucifer coughed, some bloods split out from his mouth.
He watched the bloods in disbelief, but soon it turned into a smirk as madness showed in his expression. He smirked widely, red eyes seemed to glow shinier.
“Charlotte…” Lucifer chuckled his daughter’s name, shakily standing up from the ruins. “My sweet daughter…How can you-” He stood up, and blinked a few times to get a better view but suddenly, his daughter was out of vision.
The King widened his eyes in confused, searching around until his eyes landed on the group of sinners, where his daughter currently at.
“Does it hurt?” Charlotte asked, her voice trembled in nervous and scared.
Vaggie gently touched the small cut on her right cheek, and shook her head. “I’m totally fine, hon.” She smiled. The demon who’s in her demon form as horns, tail and wings in state, yet her demonic red eyes showed worry and regret as them frowned in frustration.
“I’m sorry, I should’ve come back faster…” She again checked around her girlfriend, making sure there’s no any other wound on her.
“I’m fine. I promise.” Vaggie sighed. Feeling a bit relax as her princess was now here. The unsafeness slowly faded.
Lucifer, who was now being ignored, watched the group – mostly Charlotte – in shock, but soon followed anger. He took a few furious breaths before walking hard steps towards the sinners.
“Charlotte Morningstar!” He growled, fires followed his harsh breaths. “You are not allowed to condescended me, little woman!”
“Husker, bring them all upstairs.” Charlotte then coldly commanded. “Roger that.” The bartender responded.
The fact that being ignored again completely lit up Lucifer’s rage.
The man’s breathing started become rapidly, hot fires summoned beneath his feet and appeared with his breaths. His full-red eyes locked on the Princess, rage about to broke through his-
A dark, almost blankly expression flew right in front of him, just an inch away.
Claw grabbed his throat, as tightly as if it was trying to rip his head off by neck.
“Charlotte!!” Vaggie yelled in worried since the moment Charlotte suddenly appeared in front of her father, the two disappeared in a blink of eye.
“We gotta go.” Husk interrupted. He pulled the spider up to his feet, and moved to support the snake who was still on the ground, looking in pain from Lucifer’s attack.
The hotelier hesitated for a moment, eventually nodded and helped Angel stood steadily.
She knew what to do next. Make sure the two injured patients and the goat twins were safe, and grab her spear, then find her princess as soon as possible.
Especially when she was the only one knew the ‘story’ between the King and Princess of Hell except Razzle, Dazzle and KeeKee
Lucifer screamed as he was crashed into multiple buildings. Each one created a giant hole, but not that he could give a damn right now.
Few seconds later when the crashing finally stopped, Lucifer found himself laying limply on ruins. His back was aching painfully, his head was probably bleeding too. The weight of his headband was already loss, surely dropped in one of the ruins.
With his eyes barely opened from pain and dizziness, he saw Charlotte stood in front of him. Her expression unreadable, but the King knew clearly if he didn’t react soon, his daughter will kill him in the next second.
So, Lucifer snarled, and gave a punch right on his daughter’s stomach.
Luckily, the attack worked as Charlotte was drew a few meters away from that punch. He quickly tried to stood up, but his legs trembling and refused to move steadily.
Charlotte launched again. Her claws ready, attempted to rip the King in half. Lucifer acted fast, dodging at by moving aside and successfully kicked her daughter to the ground. He jumped forwards, holding the crazy girl below him.
Bloods bleeding out from his head and back, but now it felt empty, like he wasn’t even hurt. “Charlotte…” He growled lowly, and when he’s about to continued Charlotte’s claws were on the side of his face, and pulled down to gave hurtful rips on his cheek.
He groaned in pain, and Charlotte took the advantage to kicked him off and launched fires towards him.
Lucifer was still a good fighter though. He managed to rolled away from the threatening fire and stood up again.
Finally, during the short break, them both have a chance to fully looked at each other’s face. Lucifer panted, watching wordlessly against his daughter’s creepy red eyes. None part of the girl in front of him reminded his fragile, weak daughter anymore, but the fact her familiar face and the bloods boiling inside her was still telling that she is his daughter.
“You’ve grown so much.” He whispered out, yet Charlotte didn’t give any reaction to that.
Her wings hanged high and firm behind her, prepared for fight. Her horns matched with her blood red eyes, with the spiked tail swings left and right at the back. Her expression blank, but it was written with hidden desire of kill and cold hatred.
Lucifer had never realized how similar they are.
Soften his expression, Lucifer took a step forward. “Charlotte, it can end with a nice talk.” He tried, twisting his lips to a smile.
Yet, the next attack was soon arrived.
Lucifer yelped as he dodged quickly, but a claw still landed on his shoulder and drawn bloods from the ripped wound. He growled in anger, grabbing Charlotte’s neck and hit her towards the ground as a respond.
Fire chains made their way towards his hands. He was shocked, and the second he remained standing, they wrapped themselves around his wrist and he was trapped. The chains burning his skin. Charlotte threw a punch on his face and covered her claw on his mouth, forcing a blow of fire towards his throat.
It created a huge amount of pain. Lucifer tried to scream but since his throat was burned nothing could hear from him. The man struggled from the continuous fire, yet Charlotte forcing the fire to get stronger and stronger, like she was trying to burn him alive.
And how could he allow that to happen? Lucifer, despite the fires on his upper body, pulled the chain to broke it and grabbed Charlotte’s middle left wing, and used his full strength to rip it off.
The pain causes Charlotte to stop her attack and snarled. The King took the advantage, jumping away and panted, slowly healing his burned skin and organs.
The ripped wound on Charlotte’s back started bleeding. And after so many scratches and bloods on her body, she finally made a look of pain. Without for her to react, Lucifer launched forward, crashing her towards the wall.
Charlotte struggled against his hold, and the man just drew his claw hardly on his daughter’s right cheek, making a long claw line from her cheek ‘till her neck. The wound was bleeding in an instant, fresh meat could be seen.
He moved his hand to one of her horns, trying to hold her still but next it came something he didn’t expected. Charlotte titled her head aside with full strength, freeing her horn from the King’s touch, with a payment as the horn was ripped off.
The Princess, afterwards, made a laugh. It made Lucifer paused in confuse.
Then, her eyes burned in full red, lighter than he ever seen before. Her cracked smile was as big as it almost reached her ears, and the red circle on her cheek, which he gave her since birth, suddenly faded and been replace by…teeth?
With the craziest laugh she ever made, Charlotte charged forward, stabbing her teeth harshly on her father’s neck.
For a moment, Lucifer’s world went all white. His eyes rolled into the back of his head from the sudden blood lost. The bite was rough and with fully attempt to kill as Charlotte tighten her grip, trying to make it more painful before she ripped the meat off her father’s neck.
Lucifer fallen to the ground after being torture by his daughter. His thoughts went blurry from blood lost, and strength slowly faded from his limbs.
Golden bloods coloured the ground, together with the limped figure and the stood beast. Gold ran down of her neck as Lucifer’s meat was still chewed in Charlotte’s mouth. She stared at her father, eyes numb even though still remained in her devil form.
Her red eyes blinked. After shallowing the fresh, Charlotte began to move again. Her body ached with uncountable wounds, lost of a wing, and her left horn being ripped in half. But otherwise, Charlotte didn’t quite feel the pain anymore.
She moved forward. When she was in front of the fallen angel, she raised her claws.
Vaggie panted as she rushed down the street.
After getting everything settle in the hotel, she grabbed her spear and ran out alone, desperate on finding her girlfriend before anything worst happen.
When she was out of the hotel and arrived to the street of the city, she was bunch of buildings with a big, crashed holes. She quickly followed the path; the running took a lot longer as it was so long. If she still has her wings, maybe she could waste lesser time on this?
Vaggie shook the ridiculous thought away.
As closer as she got towards the place her girlfriend might be, the more her heart tighten in worry and uneasiness. The ruins were not much important, yet the red and gold bloods were the actual sight that her girlfriend might be deeply hurt.
She found the familiar headband in one of the ruins, the one Lucifer wore. And then, more bloods along the way, followed by some clothe pieces. Some red, some white and some black, came from the both Morningstars.
Until her single eye landed on the fallen feathers.
Black with red highlights. The colour she watched more than she could count.
Charlotte’s wings.
Panic rises more as her legs were forced to ran faster and faster. And finally, as she arrived the place were the ruins and bloods stopped, she saw the figure.
Claws slamming up and down, repeating the act like she was never tired. Broken body was beneath, gold bloods spread everywhere.
It was Charlotte. The Princess, who was still destroying the man beneath her as much as she could, was back facing her. Even though it blocked Vaggie’s vision to her face, but it allowed her to notice the more important situation.
The left wing at the middle pair of Charlotte’s six black wings were gone, leaving a terrible wound which was still streaming out bloods. Her right horn was broken as well, the top half seemed to be ripped out and nowhere to be seen. Furthermore, there were multiple wounds and cuts on Charlotte’s body, even her sleeves were cut in half, leaving her arm to Hell’s air.
Yet, the Princess still didn’t seem tired, her claws still smashing the man’s ruined face.
“Charlotte…” Vaggie unconsciously whispered.
Her body moved automatically.
Gold bloods covered her jaw, claws, chest and…well she couldn’t actually notice it. She didn’t know how long it had passed since she finally beat her father, and how long she didn’t have control over her own body.
But at least, now, her vision wasn’t so red anymore. Her throat was still dry, but maybe able to speak again. Her cheek was burning before, but now it wasn’t so hurtful and somehow stiff anymore. Her whole body was burning, but didn’t felt like lava swimming through her veins anymore.
…Yet, she was now tired.
Charlotte panted as her smashing slowly stopped, until her body finally caught back to reality and soon suffered from the ached on her limbs.
A hand landed on her shoulder, which made her jolted and turned around with a furious snarl.
It was a blur figure, with a very, very low speaking voice that Charlotte couldn’t recognized. Her mind was still foggy, and within her still red vision, Charlotte could only see it as a threat.
The figure was still speaking something, but Charlotte launched and pin it onto the ground. She snarled, raised her claw and attempted to slam the figure yet being blocked half way with some stick item.
One claw holding the figure by its shoulder and other claw fighting against the figure’s weapon, Charlotte snarled louder, her eyes seemed starting to glow again and fires burning her veins. She narrowed her eyes, couldn’t understand why couldn’t she broke the weapon and sent them to death. Is it something’s stopping her to do it, or because she was just too tired from the recent fight?
“Char- me-”
Finally, some voice entered her foggy brain. It was familiar, but Charlotte still couldn’t recognize it.
Kill them. It was a threat.
The louder, darker voice again occupied her thought. She opened her mouth, prepared to dive downwards and rip their throat away.
Yet again, the stick-sized weapon went against her mouth, stopping the act and prevented her sharp teeth. Charlotte snarled again in rage, trying to shake the tool away from her mouth but only being turned and pin to the ground instead.
She struggled against the strong hold on her shoulders, mouth and her waist.
Why can’t I fight it?
Why is my body refusing?
Charlotte narrowed her eyes, fighting harder even though her own body resisted against her desire. Her motions were weak enough to let an unknow figure managed to hold her still, and Charlotte’s brain didn’t like the thought.
A cold, fresh touch landed on her cheek. Charlotte blinked, as the cold touch made her brain finally cold down a bit from its rage.
With another blink, her red vision slowly became clearer. White hair filled her view first, then the grey skin, red X on a side of eye, and the familiar yellow iris above grey-red sclera.
They- She was crying, Charlotte could tell. As tears dropped again and again on her skin.
Why is she…seemed so…
Now, Charlotte stared at the girl above her, her eyes confused and searching. Her attacking movements stopped, her body slowly relaxed and still being pinned.
“Come back to me, Char.”
Clear, familiar tone brought her attention. Charlotte focused on the words, finding the tone and voice was so…loving.
She knew this voice.
“Can you hear me?”
As the Princess stopped moving and seemed to relax, a grey hand moved its way towards one side of her cheek, touching it gently and gave soft caressed.
“You’re okay, you’re safe…” The voice continued. “Snap out of it, baby. I’ve got you. Everything’s okay.”
Charlotte leaned against the soft touch on her cheek. Her eyes closed for a moment, enjoying it. The soft, caring voice slowly grounding her from all of her raging mind, bringing her back to reality as the red in her vision fading away.
…
A name appeared in her mind.
Vaggie.

Chapter Text
“Vaggie…?”
Charlotte murmured against the spear hanged in her mouth. Her voice was low and hoarse, as if she’d hadn’t speak for a year, but it reached the person she needed.
“Yeah, I’m here…” Vaggie responded softly. The angel quickly moved her spear away, while also slowly moving away as she was sitting on her stomach. “Can you hear me?” She checked, just in case.
Charlotte nodded. Her expression relaxed, clearly tired as her eyes went half-lidded.
Vaggie watched her girlfriend. Her heart ached at seeing her girlfriend was hurt so badly in the fight with her father. Wiping the tears away from her cheek, Vaggie moved her trembled hand to Charlotte’s ripped horn, but no dare to touch it. The large wound from her right cheek to her neck and her missing wing were also terrifying. Even with her quick healing skill, Vaggie couldn’t help but worry.
It was a short silence between them. Charlotte watched around with her half-lipped eyes, seemed still struggling to fully understand the situation.
“Hey.” Vaggie called softly, touching Charlotte’s uninjured left cheek as she tried to brought back her attention.
Red eyes soonly landed back on her. The Princess stared at her, still in numbness and clearly tired. “Vaggie…” She mumbled weakly. “I’m here.” The angel responded immediately, giving a small kiss on her forehead, not caring about the bloods.
“Let’s get you back to the hotel, okay?” She said as gentle as she could. “I’ve got you.” She lifted her Princess off the ground slowly, avoiding any chance to hurt her more than she already was. “Can you withdraw your wings, sweetie?” She asked, and the five wings were drawn back into Charlotte’s back.
“Good girl.” Vaggie patted the blonde hair gently, avoiding the broken horn. Charlotte whimpered, both of the praise and the pain, leaned further against Vaggie’s chest and closed her eyes tiredly.
The angel walked, carrying her demon back to safety.
Lucifer walked slowly, using the walls as a support.
His face was still ruined. Haven’t completely heal from all the damaged caused by his daughter.
He almost died. He was sure about that. If it wasn’t his strong healing power, he will already be gone in that ruins. Lucifer held on his stomach, trying to place back the intestines that fallen out. One of his eyeballs were gone too, his whole mouth was ruin, but they will come back after his body done healing itself.
Panting in tiredness, all Lucifer could do is slowly walk back to his mansion, and probably think for another solution to…reach for his daughter. It was clear that the girl hates him. So much hate that already wanted him to be gone. But Lucifer couldn’t allow it. Father being put to death by his daughter? How ridiculous.
A sense of wrongness snapped him out of his thoughts. The King turned around, finding the figure right away. “Get the fuck out of there!” He shouted, even his throat was hurting. The words were vague, considered his mouth was only half healed.
Shadow swam over, and slowly shaped into a man. Lucifer narrowed his eyes, watching the red demon standing in front of him, his smile big and confident.
“Who are you?” The King asked, backing away as he had no more strength for another fight.
“Alastor.” The demon cheered. “Nice to be meeting you, your highness!” His red eyes narrowed in a joyful way, radio voice raised.
Settling her Princess on the toilet bowl, Vaggie hurried to grab the first-aid kit from Dazzle’s hands.
When they finally arrived the hotel, the residents were on the couch in main hall. They looked surprised when their eyes landed on the princess, but since Charlotte remained closed eyes, Vaggie called them to shoo away and brought her towards their bedroom.
Razzle, Dazzle and KeeKee followed them as well. While the cat can’t do anything but waited on their bed, Vaggie asked the twins to grab some medicine for Charlotte. Currently, Vaggie got ready for the bandages and medicine, and kneeled down in front of her girlfriend.
“You still with me?” She asked softly, giving a small touch on Charlotte’s black nose. The Princess nodded weakly and hummed.
“I’m gonna clean your wounds and give you a bath, okay? Then we’re going to disinfect those cuts on you.”
Charlotte’s demonic form was still remained. Her black skin of her claws reached up to her upper arm, hiding her left arm from Vaggie’s view. To that, Vaggie remembered the fact Charlotte never let her saw her skin under clothes. She had asked her about that before, yet the Princess just gave pointless answers every time. So, Vaggie see it as a boundary between them, never wanted to cross the line.
But now, clearly Vaggie couldn’t care for that anymore. Charlotte’s health and safety was more important.
She began to took off her jacket, and her vest. All clothes were bloody and broken, luckily Razzle and Dazzle were waiting at the side and held the clothes to bring it out.
“N-No, please…” When Vaggie’s hand moved to the buttons of her white shirt, Charlotte raised her claw weakly, moaned helplessly.
“Sweetie…I can’t help you without you getting your clothes off.” The hotelier tried.
However, Charlotte started to move as she shifted from where she sat on the toilet bowl and tried to get on her hooves. Vaggie frowned, pushing her back but as gently as she could without hurting her.
“It’s not time for your stubborn, Char.” Vaggie said, a bit harshly. “You know I can’t leave you like this. This time is not like any other time you get into fight and hurt yourself slightly.”
“B-But-”
“No buts. You hear me, there’s nothing to argue.”
She moved her hands back to the buttons, unbutton them one by one. Yet, Charlotte turned away before she could take off the shirt from her shoulders. “You don’t understand…” Charlotte grumbled.
“Then help me understand.” Vaggie frowned again, in a sad way. “If there’s something troubling you with this, please let me help you.” She begged.
The Princess looked away, have no bravely to look at her girlfriend’s eyes. Grey hand cupped her face, bringing back her attention. “Let me help you.” Vaggie repeated, hoping to get an actual answer this time.
The adoration in both of Vaggie’s eyes and tone made Charlotte’s whole posture weaken. Her tail swing behind her nervously, as she watched her girlfriend, without any words coming out.
You’ll hate me for this. Charlie silently thoughts.
After a while, Charlotte nodded, her eyes dazed downwards.
Vaggie smiled softly. She gave a kiss on Charlotte’s left cheek, and moved down to took off the shirts for the first time ever.
She widened her eyes.
Scars.
There were scars all over her upper body, and it was different from the fresh cuts she just got beforehand. They were healed, showing brown with slight red, obviously happened long before. Vaggie bitten her lower lip, hand shaking as it moved to touch the biggest scar on her girlfriend’s chest.
Suddenly, all her unexplained behaviours made sense.
Thoughts racing through her mind, as the angel watched stunned. For a moment, she couldn’t even move from shock.
…
“It’s okay…” Vaggie whispered out, not sure it was to herself or her girlfriend.
From all shock and heartbreak, the angel still remembered what had to be done first. She looked up to her partner, finding the girl closed her eyes, probably at the edge of shut down. Planting a small kiss on her forehead, Vaggie moved down to took away her trouser and underthing.
Same situation as the upper.
Vaggie inhaled, eyes narrowed in heartache from the horrible scene. But she wasn’t distracted by it. She grabbed a clean and slightly wet towel from Razzle’s hands, and started wiping the bloods – either red or gold – away from her princess’s pale skin.
Charlotte didn’t even flinch when she touched her new wounds. Which made the atmosphere even…sadder, somehow.
Finally, she reached the demoness’s face. She cleaned the towel before moving it towards Charlotte’s face, then gently wiping the bloods away. The Princess’s eyes were already closed, so Vaggie didn’t have to call her to closed it in case hurting her eyes.
The big scratch was a hard deal. Vaggie couldn’t help but worried and worried that she would hurt Charlotte more. But when she exhaled shakily and started cleaning that place, the Princess remained still, not even her eyebrows moving.
After getting all bloods wiped, the angel relaxed for the first time since she found her wounded princess. “Good girl…” She moved her hand to caresses Charlotte’s hair softly, not moving too close to her injured horn. “Let’s get you a bath, okay?”
Having the twins waiting beside was a good thing. Dazzle already prepared the tub, nice and warm for their sister. Vaggie smiled gratefully at the goats, and place her arms on Charlotte’s back and under knees to lifted her up and slowly put her into the water.
“Babe, are you still awake?” She asked, placing a hand on the demon’s cheek. Charlotte opened her eyes slightly, and made a small hummed.
“Good.” She mumbled, and started washing her Princess with towel and soap.
After drying her blonde hair and get her into her night clothes, Vaggie got Charlotte onto her hooves and leaded her towards their bed, then settled her on the soft sheets. On the right side where she belonged.
Her wounds were all cleaned. The hole where her wing was ripped stopped bleeding. The scratch on her right cheek was slowly healing, now it was small enough to easy covered it with a sterile gauze. Her broken horn…remained the same, but Vaggie knew it will grow back eventually.
She got into the bed after the Princess, and pulled up the cover to covered both of them. Turned off the lights, Vaggie sink herself back into the sheets, and faced the blonde. Charlotte remained quiet this whole time, like her mind was flying away to somewhere else, and Vaggie was obviously worried about it.
“Are you okay…?” She asked carefully, placing her palm gently at her girlfriend’s left cheek. Charlotte, despite weak – either her body or mental – she opened her eyes to looked at Vaggie, still being wordless.
Then, a not-too-long silence.
Small reflection of tears started to formed at Charlie’s eyes. “He never wanted to leave me alone…” Her tone was so…fragile. Weak and small, a new side of the princess that was never introduced to the ex-angel.
Vaggie looked at her, her eyes slightly widened in surprise, but more heartbreak.
As Charlie started sniffing, Vaggie quickly snap out from her shock and pulled her into a hug. She wrapped her arms tightly on Charlie’s head and back, hiding the princess’s face into her chest as Charlie was sobbing now.
It was rare that Charlotte ever cried. The first time and the only time she cried was the night they confessed their feelings. But that was about two years ago.
Now, it was the second time there were tears on her demon’s pretty face. And all Vaggie could do, was give her the safety and silent comfort she needed, until she was able to talk about it.
“Shh…you’re okay. I’m right here.” She whispered softly, giving gentle and caring pat on the blonde hair. “You’ve got me. I’m here with you.”
“Vaggie…” Poorly whimpers came that made Vaggie’s heart ached even more. She kissed the top of Charlie’s head, shaking her gently from left to right. “I’m here.” She whispered again, trying to gather Charlie back up.
The sobbing continues as the Princess shook rapidly. The angel didn’t stop the soft patting on her hair when she decided to hum a slow, smooth melody she heard in radio when she was still human.
Tears wets Vaggie’s clothes, but not like she cared anyway.
“I hate him…” She heard Charlie weakly whispered. “I hate him so much…B-But-” She chocked herself. “I hurt you.”
Vaggie tried to say something back, but Charlie continued. “I- I didn’t mean to…b-but…” She sniffed. “I don’t know what’s happening to me…I’m just like him.”
As Charlie started to breath panickily and trembling more, Vaggie quickly moved to pull away and held Charlie’s face with both hands. “Hey, hey. Charlie, look at me.”
Red eyes tried their best to focus on the angel’s face. Vaggie gave a very light slap on the side of Charlie’s unscarred cheek, calling for her attention. “You didn’t hurt me…Charlie, all you’ve done was just pinning me to the ground, that’s it.”
“Because you’re blocking my attacks with your spear!” Charlie cried. “I-If you didn’t have it- Oh gosh, I- I could have-”
“Hush.” Vaggie breathed out, stopping Charlie from overwhelming herself. “You weren’t yourself back there. I understand. I understand completely, Char.” She caressed her cheek gently, tears forming in her own eye. “There’s a very, very large issue in your family which made you wanna tear Lucifer to death. I understand. I’ve already guessed you might lose control because of the rage you were holding for too long.
All I care was bringing you back to me. And you’ve done it. You snap out of it even you were so fucking angry at that moment…I’m so proud of you.”
“W-Why…?” Charlie stared at her, her eyes trembled as if she’s going to break into pieces at the next second.
“You came back just in time before that man could’ve done anything worse to us…” Vaggie kissed the corner of Charlie’s lips. “And now, you are safe. Wounded, but safe. Fragile, but safe. You are with me, safe and sound. That’s all I cared.”
The angel smiled softly even though her own tears was running down her face. “You are everything I care, Charlotte.”
Tears roaming down as Charlie moved downwards to buried her face in Vaggie’s chest again. “I’m sorry…I’m so, so sorry…” She cried, words sounded from her mouth in a blurry way but enough to recognize.
“Why are you sorry?” Vaggie’s eyebrows frowned, sad expression. “I…I kept those from you…” Charlie chocked, unable and not willing to say more.
Oh. Vaggie slightly widened her eyes from realization, but couldn’t do more but wrapped her arms around Charlie again.
As the violent sobbing slowly turned into soft sniffs, Vaggie moved her right hand, going towards Charlie’s sleeves and pulled them up, revealing the brown-red scars underneath.
She watched it silently. Charlie didn’t stir at the action, still deep in her broke down.
After a few more minutes, as Charlie was calm enough to take steady breath and of course, a talk, Vaggie started. “Do you want to talk about it?” She asked carefully, observing the dimmed scars on her lover’s pale skin.
Charlie shook her head. “…Next time, maybe?”
Vaggie nodded, fully understood. She grabbed Charlie’s arm and brought it close to her. “Reason of you hiding them from me?” She asked again, caressing one of the scars with her thumb.
Charlie moved her gaze away, ashamed. “They are ugly.” She mumbled, eyebrows frowning in disgust. However, out of Charlie’s expectation, Vaggie shook her head. “No. They are beautiful.”
Stunned. “What?” The Princess breathed out in disbelief. “How can they-”
“Every part of you is beautiful.” Vaggie interrupted, in a loving way. “And they are a part of you. Despite I can know getting them wasn’t a good experience, but this’s who you are now.”
Charlie whimpered. “You mean it…?”
“Sure.” Vaggie responded gently. She brought Charlie’s arm closer to plant a kiss on the scar, and moved to plant another one on Charlie’s forehead.
With another whimper, Charlie moved closer to Vaggie, begging for comfort. “Thank you…I can’t do anything without you.”
“Neither can I.”
“I need you.”
“I need you too.” Vaggie said firmly. “I want to handle things with you. Whatever is bothering you, it’s bothering me too. So, my princess, let me hold you, just like every time you hold me.”
Charlie nodded, burying herself more into Vaggie’s embrace. Exhaustion finally crawled up to her, as Charlie fighting to keep her eyes open. “Can we have a day off tomorrow?”
“Of course.” Vaggie kissed her head. “I’ll only continue the hotel things after making sure you’re fully healed.”
“That will take a long time…” Charlie grumbled. “Then I’ll wait.” Vaggie chuckled. “I know you. You’re the strongest being I could ever have. You’ll be okay.”
“As long as I’m with you…” Charlie finally smiled. Vaggie smiled too, nuzzling her nose in Charlie’s fuzzy hair.
Comfortable in her angel’s embrace, Charlie’s eyelids started to fluttered close. “I love you…” She managed to murmured out before losing her consciousness.
“I love you too, Char.” Vaggie mumbled back. Realizing her princess was asleep, Vaggie moved to closed the lights before returning to Charlie’s side and pulled the sheets above them.
She patted her princess’s hair gently. The problem hadn’t solved, Vaggie knew. But now, letting her Princess rest is much more important.
“Rest well, darling.” Vaggie kissed Charlie’s nose, and closed her eyes after wrapping an arm around the devil’s waist.
Notes:
Vaggie will give her all the hugs and comfort she wants.

Hello guys. Here's FenterNoir and I wanna say something. Some of you must had seen the earlier version of this chapter, which I deleted it after posting it for about an hour. I want to say I'm so sorry for causing confusion. Also, I notice the recent version was very bad. Comments and my friends told me about this.
It's been a hard time for me. These months, I kept working myself to tiredness and currently I'm not feeling pretty well. It happened weeks ago and the situation didn't get better. I started to have sight of anorexia and headache follows. And now, I'm also struggling at the lost of inspiration. I got the story in my mind but every time I wanted to write I just can't do it. I rewrite them over and over again but just can't find the best version I preferred.
I'm still not sure if the earlier version was bad but I know I wasn't very appreciated it too. I'm losing judgment ability and I don't want to ruin it because my own problems. I love my stories very much, I don't want to ruin any of them.
So, I decided to take a short break. To gather myself back and present more interesting chapters to you.
Thank you, for all your supports. I'll be back as soon as possible, and I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Thank you.
Chapter 13: Better? Or Worst?
Summary:
Vaggie wondered if things were getting better, or actually the opposite.
She'll have to find out. If she could.
Chapter Text
“So, tell me what’s your deal.”
Lucifer held his jaw with the back of his hand, as he sat on the large couch, watching the radio demon with narrowed eyes. Alastor’s smile widened, and the King wondered how did he kept that wide smile on his face the whole time.
“As you know…your daughter stole your authority.” Radio voice chuckled. “I know exactly what you want, and I can help! Just…”
“Just what?” The King groaned impatiently. “We’ll have to make a deal, my King.” Alastor cheered. “So I can make sure none of us will ever regret or betray at the last moment, or else the whole plan will be a waste. We wouldn’t want that to happen, do we?”
Lucifer stood up from the couch, walking towards the radio demon with slow, confident steps. “You promise your plan will actually work, don’t you?”
“Of course! Or else I wouldn’t dare to ask you for teamwork.” Red eyes shined in joy.
Lucifer stood in front of Alastor. He lifted his head, considered the overlord was more than a head taller than him. He narrowed his eyes, stared at the radio demon with dangerous gaze.
“You remember who have been keep an eye on the girl longer, don’t you, your highness?”
Alastor remained his big, wide smile. Their eyes seemed to shined in the darkness of the room. Lucifer didn’t know why they shut the light off. Maybe none of them decided to turn it on at the first place.
“Alright…” Finally, the King spoke out, his voice low. “We’ll make a deal…As long as your plan works perfectly, I will give you whatever you want.” He reached his hand out, keeping another one at his back.
Alastor grabbed it quite quickly, his red eyes narrowed, completely excited. “Everything under your command, your majesty.”
Sleepily opened her eyes, Vaggie blinked at the soft light came from the window.
Blinking for a few more times, she turned to her left side slightly, feeling the soft furry feel under her shoulder. It was – not surprised – Charlotte, curled into Vaggie’s chest and oh, so carefully grabbed her arm, like a lost kitten trying to hold onto its only shelter.
Vaggie’s heart melt at the sight. How Charlotte looked so…insecure, just making her heart break yet couldn’t help but smiled fondly at the demon. She moved her right hand to caressed the furry blonde hair over her shoulders and half of Charlotte’s face, playing it with her fingers.
It was super rare that Charlotte slept longer than her. Actually, this might be the first time. Every single morning, it was always Charlotte rose first, and also being the one to wake the other up like a clock itself. At first, Vaggie always doubted that did the Princess ever get some sleep. Sometimes, she was right, Charlotte would move out from bed and went to working again. As the time pass, she finally got the Princess to realize the importance of sleep and now she wouldn’t get away from bed at a random point of midnight anymore.
Vaggie sighed. The answer of Charlotte’s unusual deep slumber was quite clear. The fact her body needed to repair itself will dragged energy to do so. Sleeping is the easiest way to refill the lost energy.
She moved her hand, giving small touches on the Princess’s cheek and shed away some hair from her face. Charlotte unexpectedly purred, leaning further into Vaggie’s hand. This made the angel stilled in surprised, but then smiled fondly yet playfully as she touched her face again to hear more of those too adorable purrs.
After a while watching her Princess sleep, Vaggie decided to get up and prepare for the day. Even she wanted to, she can’t stay in bed with the Morningstar the whole day. She got to inform the residents about the day off and get some food for Charlotte and herself.
Getting washed and dressed in her usual clothes, Vaggie went downstairs after placing a small kiss on Charlotte’s forehead. The Princess remained sleeping, which brought a sigh from the angel and probably she doesn’t have to worry anything bad would happen to her.
She got into the main hall. On her way, Vaggie didn’t see any of the residents, so she thought they mostly gathered in the hall or went outside. Luckily, she was right, everyone was at the hall except Alastor (but actually it’s quite normal).
“Hey guys, sorry I’m-” She tried to start first, but stopped when her eyes landed on the group.
“Hey ya, toots!” Angel greeted from where he sat on the floor, his upper hands holding a paper and scissor, while his bottom ones holding some markers. Around him, Husk, Sir Pentious and even Niffty was also doing some paper things, all surprisingly concentrated on their work.
“You all…What are you doing?” The hotelier asked, slowing walked towards them with her mouth slightly open in shock.
“Making a get-well-soon card for Ms Princess!” Niffty cheered happily from where she laid on the ground, holding a red ribbon highly for Vaggie to see. The others smiled, and turned back their attention on their work.
“That’s…very surprising.” Vaggie gasped out. “I…Oh my. Thank you, guys…” Her lips curled into an unconsciousness smile.
Angel watched, his expression soften. “No big deal, Vags.” He laughed, focusing back on cutting the paper. “That’s all we can do.” He shrugged. “After all you and Charlotte have done for us? Like, giving me something I never expect to have in Hell…” He nearly whished those words, already feeling embarrassing but not dare to stop halfway.
“Oh this guy gets emotional.” Husk raised an eyebrow.
“Shut the fuck up, asshole.” Angel groaned.
The hotelier laughed at the scene. She walked over and sat beside Angel, picking up a piece of colour paper. “Let me join?” Angel shrugged in respond.
“What you going to say earlier, by the way?”
“I was trying to inform you guys today’s a day off.”
“Well, does this counted as a day off?”
“I don’t know. Do you mind it?”
“Never as always.”
“How’s Charlotte doing?” After a moment they heard Husk asked. “Her recovering is as quick as usual.” Vaggie smiled, a bit sadly. “When I got down here she’s still asleep, probably her body still trying to heal itself and I decided not to bother the process.”
“Oh.” Husk breath out. “And I think I saw her wings being ripped one?”
“Yeah.” The hotelier responded. “Even I’m sure her injuries will get healed eventually, I can’t deny it was a total mess…”
“Crap.” They heard Angel grumbled from aside. “The King is harsh.”
“Being an asshole as he always were.” Husk sighed. “Just never thought he would get harsher.”
Vaggie shallowed, remembered the fact Lucifer lost the fight and became a gore when she saw them. She wondered if he died, actually. But since Charlotte’s powerful self-healing skills even only as a Nephilim, Lucifer – being technically her father and a pure fallen angel – will only be grained stronger angelic powers.
She silently sighed.
There’s so many happened for these months. Charlotte’s lost memories of meeting with Heaven. The Vee’s threat. Charlotte unexplained demonic shift. Lucifer’s unexpected visit. And now, her Princess’s injuries and old scars.
But none of it had being solved.
She wished she could get Charlotte to talk whenever she thought there had a free time for them. Yet, the day always ended with her waiting for Charlotte to come to bed from her works (which she mostly failed to stay awake) or the Princess – maybe both of them – being too tired to actually make progress.
“What cha thinking, toots?”
Angel’s call snapped her back for her short thinking. “Nothing.” Then, she continued on writing words on the paper.
Few hours passed. The residents had finished their work on the gift for their Princess, and got back to their usual doings, taking a rest from the day-off. Vaggie was at the kitchen, preparing some sandwich after having a proper lunch for herself.
Charlotte didn’t come downstairs or message her for the whole morning. So, she considered the Princess was still asleep or too tired to move an inch.
Finally getting the sandwich and water ready, Vaggie brought them upstairs and head towards her bedroom. She managed to push the door open even with both hands full. Expected darkness filled her vision as the lights remained shut, not even the curtains were open.
The angel closed the door and walked forward. She placed the food on the small desk beside the bed, on Charlotte’s right side, and sat on the edge of the bed to watch her Princess sleep.
The Princess had turned to face the edge of the bed, a perfect angle to let Vaggie watched her face without the need to climb up the bed. The angel gently caressed her face, moving her bangs away from covering her eyes. She stayed silence for a few more minutes, before deciding to wake the Princess up.
“Charlie?” She whispered, and not getting an answer. Vaggie frowned in frustration as she realized Charlotte has been sleeping for 14 hours. Even though she believed the fact her Princess needed rest, but it was getting a little too long. She didn’t know if it was right to wake her up now yet her worries were getting stronger.
“Wake up, mi amor.” She whispered again while lightly shaking Charlotte’s shoulder. Yet again, no respond.
Vaggie sighed, leaned down to place a kiss on the sleeping’s nose, knowing it was a sensitive part of the Princess’s face. “C’mon, you got to wake up, hon.”
Charlotte finally stirred, but still no sense of waking up.
The angel frowned, this time in worry. Why isn’t she waking? She thought. Charlie isn’t a deep sleeper, she should be wakened up.
“Babe?” Vaggie raised her voice. “Sweetheart.”
Still remained asleep.
Alright… The angel tried to calm herself as panic raised. Maybe…she will wake up after a few more minutes. She’ll be okay. At this point, Vaggie leaned back to her sitting pose, and cupped Charlotte’s cheek while running her thumb across the soft skin.
She stayed like this for the next few minutes.
Before Vaggie decided to lay down to stay with her girlfriend in a more comfortable state, she suddenly heard sounds coming from downstairs.
BOOM!!
An explosion?! Vaggie jolted up from the bed. This won’t be a good thing, and if it’s Lucifer coming back again, she can’t let him catch Charlotte. Not when she was still weak from her recovering. Even if it’s not Lucifer, the sound of explode could never be a good thing.
The angel hesitated, though. She looked at her girlfriend, heart-breaking at how fragile she looked and the fact if she wakes up at a random point when Vaggie wasn’t with her, Charlotte will definitely be confused and even panic. She has to be by her side until she’s sure that the other one is alright.
But…
Vaggie clutched her hands into fist before releasing again. With a sigh, she leaned down to gently kissed on the Princess’s cheek and quietly said. “I’ll be back.” Before turned and head her way downstairs.
Angel was humming as he played his phone before a loud noise sounded from the wall behind him. He and the bartender flinched, and turned their heads towards the now broken wall.
“What the f-” A familiar female voice cut off his sentence. “Angel Dust!” The woman yelled, as Angel could finally saw her face from the fading smokes. “I thought we said to meet at Chewy’s today?!”
“Cherri Bomb?!” Angel laughed, jumping up from the couch he was sitting. “And oh fuck I totally forgot ‘bout that part.” He grinned widely as he approached to the one-eyed demon.
“Oh you motherfucker! I stood there for like an hour!!” Cherri shouted in annoyed.
“Aha-ha! Sorry-”
“ What the fuck was that?! ” Another female voice interrupted. This time is Vaggie, who was rushing down from the stairs and Angel wondered if she would tripped herself.
“Oh hey, toots! It’s-”
“WHAT THE FUCK??! Razzle and Dazzle just repaired that stupid wall! What the fuck was wrong with you?!” The hotelier shouted and groaned, stepped harshly towards the standing duo. “Care to explain what happened and who is she?” She pointed at Cherri, frowning angrily at Angel.
“Chill Vaggie! It’s not big deal!” Angel managed to laughed out. “By the way! She’s Cherri Bomb, my bestie! And well she got here because I literally left her on the street for hours.” He chuckled even though both girls shot him a hard gaze.
“Is she the hotelier you told about?” Cherri asked, observing the fallen angel in curious. “Yeah.” Angel replied.
However, Vaggie was still not happy about the destruction earlier. “Okay. Hello, Cherri, but I really need both of you clean out that mess.” She crossed her arms.
“Wait- What?! Why me?? It’s not my fault!” Angel groaned. “Oh, so now you’re saying it’s my fault?! You made me do this!”
“Fuck, you could’ve walk in from that door-”
“Shut up!” Vaggie narrowed her eyes, and walked towards the couch to sit on it, watching the duo with threatening eyes. “Better start your work now. I’m watching you both.” She said coldly while the twin goats handed the materials to the sinners.
“Wha? I’m not your resident! Why should I listen to you?” Cherri argued.
Vaggie started at her with raised eyebrows, slowly revealed the spear hanged behind her back.
“…Yes, ma’am!”
Notes:
It actually took longer than I expect to upload this chapter but I'm back now! Finally able to have ideas for my stories.
Charlotte's having a bad time right now...Lucifer and Alastor probably wasn't planning anything good as well, let's hope they can handle it. Charlie and Vaggie will always face things together.
Also, Cherri joined the story! Let's see what can she bring to us.
Again, NO RADIOAPPLE!!!

Chapter Text
Hands gently running through her hair, tidied up the messy stray of hair yet also pushing them around.
Charlotte hummed, enjoying the soft moment her girlfriend gave her. She was laying with her head resting in Vaggie’s lap, closing her eyes and smelling the familiar perfume which belonged to the angel.
“Are you feeling better, hon?” Vaggie asked, her voice as soft as ever. “Mmh.” Charlotte hummed, too lazy to use proper words to answer. It was rare when Sloth catches up on her, but with the safety her girlfriend brought around her, Charlotte was fine to melt in it.
Her wounds weren’t hurting anymore, thanks for Vaggie’s adoring cares. The only thing that Charlotte was a bit confused right now was they had been staying in their room for more than half a day. She herself was fine, but wouldn’t her girlfriend get at least a bit hungry now?
“Vaggie?” She mumbled, finally decided to open her eyes to look towards her lover.
“Yes, Char?”
“Are you hungry?” The Princess frowned in worry. “It’s like, we’ve been staying here for hours.”
Vaggie shook her head. “I’m totally fine. Or, how about I get some food for you?”
“Nah, too tired to eat.”
Both girls chuckled. Charlotte smiled as she closed her eyes again, wondered if she would fall asleep again if Vaggie keeps patting her head so gently and loving. If the universe allowed, Charlotte will choose to rest her head against her angel’s lap until the world ends.
“Hey, Charlotte?” She heard Vaggie called just before she’d fallen asleep. “Yeah, love?” Being too lazy to open her eyes, the Princess only turn her head slightly in respond.
“Just wanna ask. If there’s a chance that you won’t hate your parents?”
…
Charlotte snapped her eyes open, watching the woman above her with shock and confuse. “What kind of question is that?”
Vaggie smiled. And Charlotte swears, it is the first time she ever thought the angel’s smile was so…odd? “I’m just curious, sweetheart.” The white-hair one chuckled.
“…I will hate them for eternity, and it’s not like you didn’t know about it.” The Princess slowly replied.
“Yeah. But…one more question.”
As the Princess raised up from her recent pose and now sitting up to face the angel, Vaggie’s eyes went half-lifted, her smile still seemed unusual of her. “Did you ever think, that Lucifer and Lilith weren’t your actual parents?”
Her head titled to the side. “Um…the fact that I looked so similar to Lucifer, I don’t think that really make sense?”
“But…what about there’s really a chance?” Vaggie grinned.
Charlotte watched her…girlfriend, lips managed to twisted into a small smile. “Vaggie, the joke isn’t really funny.”
“Oh…But I’m not joking, dear.” The angel laughed softly. She crawled forward, getting nearer and nearer until she had Charlotte beneath her, laying with her back on the soft sheets of their bed.
“W-What’s gotten into you?” The demoness swallowed, suddenly wanted to escape from the woman she never thought she’ll be ever a bit afraid of.
This’s so unsual.
Vaggie’s acting weird.
Her thoughts were racing in her mind, making the blonde literally started shaking, and obviously the angel noticed the changes. “What are you afraid of, darling?” Vaggie’s smile remained. “Is something bothering you?” Her grey hand moved upwards, caressing the other girl’s blonde hair.
“You…are so odd.” Charlotte whispered. “Why are you saying- talking about my parents so suddenly, and weirdly?”
Fear slowly climbed up to her. She thought she was wrong, but she did feel the unexplained dark energy slowly surrounded her, flowing out from Vaggie. Realization hits her.
Fuck.
FuckFuckFuckFuckFuck-
“I’m just wondered…But relax, I won’t hurt you, not like I’ll ever want to.”
No.
That’s familiar.
The fucking power-
“You…You’re not Vaggie.” Charlotte whined, her eyes widened as she was moving backwards, trying to escape from the cage Vaggie – Fake Vaggie had trapped her in.
“What are you talking about, hon?” Vaggie titled her head, seemed confuse yet her smile got wider. She moved a finger, then just suddenly, Charlotte couldn’t move any further.
“W-What?” The Princess tried to move her limbs, but it was like her body wasn’t in her control anymore. Fear reaches up more, and it’s been a long time she got this scared after she had become the Ruler. “F-Free me! You’re not Vaggie!” She whimpered, teeth hitting each other from her trembling.
“Ah…Seems like I went too far, but that make sense, since you love her so deeply.” Vaggie – The woman shrugged with a sigh. She opened back her eyes to watch at Charlotte, the golden eyes glowed in the darkness. “I guess I should let the reunion get earlier.”
Charlotte’s eyes widened, her pupils trembled as she watched darkness slowly climbed its way up to Vaggie, then the bed, until everything around her turned into an endless dark. It reminded her something. A deep fear that Charlotte buried, but still remained there watching her silently.
The familiar darkness.
The one which made her life all gone wild.
As her body still not willing to listen to her, all Charlotte could do was staying her current position, eyes locked onto the woman who slowly revealed herself from the dark.
The woman stood there, watching her with kind yet terrifying eyes. She began walk forward, stopping less than a foot away from Charlotte and squatted down so they can watch each other at the same eye level.
“Look at you…Even that I’ve watched you grow up, I still couldn’t image how time went so fast, my sweet girl.” While the Princess unable to have any word caught to her tongue, the woman reaches up and place a hand on one side of Charlotte’s cheek, smiling gently at her. “I can still see you’re still small enough to carry with one arm, and now you’re just half head shorter than me.”
“W-Who are you…?” Charlotte managed to whimper the words out, fear already fully caught on her.
“I’m your mother, darling.” The woman replied, with the same gentle yet coldly voice. “Technically. You are created under my hands.”
“N-No…” The demoness shook her head in despair. “L-Lilith is my mother, not you. I don’t even know you.”
“Of course you don’t know me.” The woman laughed, tapping lightly at Charlotte’s nose. “The time hasn’t arrived yet. But don’t worry, I’ll introduce myself once we meet at reality.”
“T-Time?”
“Yes, my darling. Got to be patient, I know there’s a lot of question inside your head.”
“But-”
She kissed on her daughter’s forehead, interrupted her. “Now, I got to send you back, or else that exorcist will get more panic than she already is. Don’t want to cause any trouble, right?”
The woman raised her hand slightly, prepared for a snap. “And, remember a thing, Charlotte.
Kindness did not suit you.”
With a snap of the fingers, Charlotte’s eyes uncontrollably rolled backwards.
“ AGHHHHH!!! ”
Charlotte jolted up from the bed with a shout that nearly tear her throat up. Her eyes widened, tail waved rapidly which create sounds with each hit on the sheets.
Red eyes shots upward once she was fully caught back to reality. The Princess looked around, finding herself on the bed, the room covered in red lights from the outside. Her whole body trembled, hands crawled up themselves and wrapped tightly around her chest, trying to find a small sense of safety.
“Fuck…” She shakily murmured, even though she didn’t quite realize her mouth was moving.
You are created under my hands.
No…
Kindess did not suit you.
C. H. A. R. L. O. T. T. E.
The demon grabbed her head with both hands, following a sharp whimper. The fingers clawed almost painfully at her hair, like it was attempted to pulled the hair from her scalp. Not like Charlotte even notice that though, as her mind was currently yelling in pain and dizziness, her breaths sharper and quicker than each last.
Step…
Step…
Suddenly, the door opened with a sound of click. Charlotte yelped before moving backwards quickly until her back hits the backrest, her bloody red eyes widened as she stared at the blurry two figures approaching her. Tail kept smacking the sheets beneath her, as her heart beating faster than usual along with her still trembling body.
DON’T COME NEAR.
PLEASE-
As the figures came closer, Charlotte got to recognized the familiar face, yet her defending state didn’t loosen. Razzle and Dazzle went near her, concern written on their face as they’re trying to find out what happened to their sister. One of them put their paws on the Princess’s shoulder, only making her winced and her panic raised.
“Baa?” She heard Dazzle’s voice came to her ears, but not like she could make any reaction.
Breathes sharpen each time she tried to take some air for her lungs, her eyes stayed widened while her pupils went so thin and slightly trembling. Her now formed clawed had found their way to her hair again, crawling at the strands as if trying to pull them from her scalp.
Razzle and Dazzle hurried reacted when they realized what state she was in. They flew closer, trying to wipe the tears from her face and maybe give her a hug, but all of these were rejected as Charlotte currently avoids any sense of touching.
Reds starting to spilled out between Charlotte’s fingers, Dazzle widened his eyes first, quickly moved his paw towards it and tried to pull her claws away from hurting herself. The Princess barely recognized it, though, as she stumbled away from Dazzle’s touch.
Fuck…
FUCK…
Her brain was screaming at her. Her view become more and more dizzy since she didn’t receive enough oxygen due to her hyperventilation. She thought she was going to puke in the next second, but she just couldn’t stop-
A furry touch reached to her lap, nuzzling herself into Charlotte’s chest. The Princess looked down, it mewled with her usual big eyes blinked at her.
KeeKee.
She clutched into the cat in a second. Her claws slowly turned back into hands to caressed KeeKee’s fur without hurting the cat.
Charlotte shut her eyes close, some tears rolled down her cheek from the action. She buried her face into KeeKee, the soft furs managed to dragged her back fully to reality and now her breaths were slowing down.
Dazzle joined them, leaning himself to the Princess’s side and closed his eyes, which succeed to calm his sister more. Razzle moved to the bathroom, grabbing a wet tower and came back, then started wiping the small trail of bloods where Charlotte pulled her hair strengthfully.
The time passed slowly.
Charlotte whimpered, her horns and tail retreated back into her body, yet her state was still not normal. Her eyes were open, but half-lifted and lost focus. The twin goats and demon cat of course noticed the change, but decided not to bother her.
What is the point of this? Charlotte questioned to herself. I thought it was the worst when I have nobody by my side. I don’t have normal parents even they are in the highest level of Hell. But now?
She exhaled a deep breath, tears returned.
Now, I don’t even know who I am…
She sobbed, but restrained. Her shoulders shook rapidly, following her each sniffed or painful sobbed. Dazzle, Razzle and KeeKee watched, but felt truthfully helpless as all they can do were moved closer and hugged Charlotte tighter.
It felt like they’re back in past. When Vaggie hadn’t arrived yet. When Charlotte was complete alone even after become the Ruler of Hell. Or maybe earlier, when she was weak and hadn’t unlock her powers, the time that anyone could step on her head and laughed at her.
Every time, the four of them could only hugged each other, until the Princess picked herself back up and wore the strong mask again. It was something the trio didn’t want to see, but could they do anything to change it?
Unfortunately, no.
Until, the most important person came.
The fallen angel not just become the only light in Charlotte’s life, she also become the only hope to the trio, the hope where everything could finally be on the good side and Charlotte didn’t have to hold her negative emotions down just to stay strong.
But…even as the time passed, and the each promise the couple held together, Charlotte still refused to let out everything.
Not like they have the thought to blame her.
Meanwhile, Charlotte was still deep in her mind. The words of the woman she met in her…dreams? Are repeating over and over again inside her brain. It felt like forced, a forced torture as it made her brain hurt even more. But, she deserved it, right?
Yes. She deserved it.
I’m a monster. Charlotte slowly blinked. The hurtful description she held for herself tighten up more, even as Vaggie tried so hard to break it.
The thought of her lover almost made Charlotte’s breath halted.
Vaggie…
No. Charlotte’s gaze harden as the realization caught up to her.
If…she loves Vaggie to a level that anyone could use it to easily hurt them both, then…she must be vigilance.
Vaggie…
She couldn’t let anyone hurt her angel. Especially when their target is her, not the innocent angel. The thought of anyone would use Vaggie to get to her made her heart ached painfully.
Charlotte shut her eyes, trying to gather herself back but mostly failed.
What can I do? She asked desperately to…no one.
What can I do to protect her?
If I couldn’t protect her…instead maybe hurting her…what kind of girlfriend I am?
I’m not a good girlfriend to her.
I can only bring danger to her.
I can’t…please, Lord, don’t let her get hurt because of me…
Vaggie…My Vaggie…
What can I do?
…
…
I don’t deserved you.
I’m sorry…
But.
You really deserved someone better.
Someone who wasn’t a monster. A horrible monster like who I am.
I’m sorry.
Vaggie.
“Hey guys?” Tired voice huskily sounded, which grabbed Dazzle, Razzle and KeeKee’s attention. “Can you…don’t tell any of these to Vaggie?”
Three of them watched her with worried eyes. Eventually, they nodded hesitately.
“Thank you.” Charlotte whispered.
They stayed like that, giving the Princess warmth until she was able to move down from bed and went downstairs.
Notes:
Charlotte has a very bad self-worth issue problem here. And her creator is now starting to reach to her.
Let's hope Vaggie will find out and give her hugs after this, okay? >.<
Next chapter may will take longer to update 'cause the author is struggling to update another fic.
Also, I'm planning to write additions for this Au, like in one-shots or maybe some what-if series. Those will give more stories about Charlotte and Vaggie's relationships and how they work up together.
Chapter 15: The Warmth

Also, the hotel residents' small warm moment.

Chapter Text
She managed to change into her trousers and white shirt and simply tied her hair before heading down to where her girlfriend’s probably at. Razzle and Dazzle followed behind her, while KeeKee remained in her arms as Charlotte needed the small warmth that the cat could bring her.
Charlotte walked down the stairs with slow steps, the noises from the guests were getting clearer until her eyes landed on the hotelier who was having some talk with the bartender. Angel spotted her first, but not like she’d put her attention on him.
“Vaggie…” She whispered, not sure if the angel had heard it but she did.
“Charlie?” Vaggie immediately turned around when Charlotte’s huskily voice reached to her ears. She stood up, quickly walked towards the Princess who looked ever so fragile.
“Oh god, you’ve got me worried. I was going to see you if you didn’t come down.” She smiled, touching the Princess’s cheeks with her usual loving state. “Are you feeling okay? You’ve been sleeping for so long, sweetie.”
“I’m fine, hon…” Charlotte ducked her head down. “Just, a little bit dizzy?”
Vaggie caught the information. “What about I get you back to bed? Get some pills and water?”
Charlotte shook her head. “I just want to be here, with you. I don’t really want to laid in bed any longer.”
Vaggie frowned slightly, she felt like something was wrong as she studied her girlfriend’s face, but she didn’t know if she was right or she’s just overthinking. “Let’s get you to sit.”
She led her girlfriend towards the soft couch, where Angel’s been sitting at. The spider sinner moved aside, giving some space for the girls. “Will some soup sound good? It can help with your throat.”
Charlotte simply nodded.
“Okay. Stay here and wait for me.” She kissed her forehead before heading towards the kitchen.
Charlotte laid her eyes on the angel, until her figure was no longer seen due to the walls. She turned back, stared numbly at her own lap with her dulled-eyes.
Angel watched all Charlotte’s action since the moment he spotted her walking down the stairs. She didn’t seem alright, just like she’d mentally locked down for unknow reason.
He peeked the girl from aside, noticed she remained still after Vaggie had left to make some soup for her. Her eyes down, whole body just…stilled. This’s definitely unusual of her.
Well, Angel did know some news from the hotelier, that Charlotte got abused by her parents which caused the blowing hatred when Lucifer broke into the hotel and attempted to hurt them. The event ended with a raged battle of father and daughter, and led Charlotte into her current state.
But after all, the thing that made him even more worry was that her state is not normal. She was so…quiet. Not that she’s a loud person, but she had never been as quiet as a statue.
All of these thoughts brought Angel to move a bit closer towards the girl, and hesitantly opened his mouth. “Um, Princess? You alright?”
Charlotte didn’t respond, remained staring at her own legs.
“Princess.” He raised his voice, and that got Charlotte’s attention. She flinched a little, then turned to face the sinner, her eyebrows slightly frowning.
“Oh, okay. Uh, you didn’t seem alright if I’m honest.” He nervously chuckled. “And uh, I’m glad that you’re awake now but, you’re still feeling ill or something? Your face’s so fucking pale.”
“None of your business.” Charlotte sneered, clearly wanted to end the conversation.
Oh come on. Angel groaned in his mind. “Look, I don’t want to get into any fights or something. We’ve known each other for a year! Maybe consider to give me a chance to talk probably?”
Charlotte narrowed her eyes unhappily, yet Angel just continued. “Fine, fine, whatever. I know you won’t fucking listen.”
He hummed, and moved to held his chin with one of his hands, eyes locked back on the tv show.
…
Is she staring at me?
Angel swallowed at the thought, since he felt a gaze staring at her after he blow out those words at Charlotte. He managed to peek aside.
Oh yeah she’s staring at me.
Why is she-
“Have you ever wish you’ve never been born?”
Angel stunned. Widening his eyes, the sinner turned to face the Princess of Hell, who was now moved her eyes to gazed down again, the cat was no longer seen in her lap. “Like, when you’re being nothing but a failure to the ones you love?” She chuckled a bit.
“Woah, woah. Where’re these come from?” He frowned, moving a bit closer to her. “What kind of question is that??”
“You don’t have to answer…I know those are fucking nonsense.” Charlotte leaned against the back of the couch, sighing as she looked towards the ceiling. “Just, I don’t really know what to talk about, even if I know I need a talk with someone.”
Angel bitted his lips at the fragile Charlotte showed at him. The ever first time. He never thought the Princess could ever looked so weak – mentally, he meant – and especially opened up to him.
“Well, I didn’t say I don’t want to answer.” He shrugged.
Charlotte turned a bit, now fully looked at him in eyes. Her gaze confused. Angel sighed, followed her to lean on the couch. “Of course I’ve think of that, especially when I was alive.
I got a sister and a brother. I loved my sister, but my brother didn’t seem to like any of us. Our father was a fucking bastard and our mother just, well I’ve never seen her.
That old man was killed by a car crash when I was around…16 I guess? Then, for my sister, I become a sex worker. My brother didn’t fucking like that, though. He left us and just literally gone. I never saw him again until I died.
I raised my sister up. She was a cute, lovely girl, you know? Sweet voice calling my ‘brother’ and each time I heard it, I felt like all the tiredness and aches were gone.
However, I’ve kept my work from her. Sometimes she’d saw some of my bruises and all I can tell was I had them for work.
I felt like a coward. Kneeled below a man or woman’s feet just to get some money from them, and sometimes they used me and didn’t pay because I was unconscious.”
He laughed out hollowly, playing with his own hair. “Before I died, I knew my brother hated us because of me. He wasn’t proud of me, especially after I worked. I figured out he actually loved my sister, but just because she’d want to follow me more, he left without her.
So, some of the nights, I turned and turned on the bed, couldn’t erased the thought that if I didn’t born, will my sister and my brother lived more happily and easily?
Before the day I died, I fought with my sister. She found out what kind of work I was doing and she was not happy at that. She tried to get me to quit my job and I told her I can’t. Where can I get money if I didn’t do it? And yet, she yelled and shouted at me with tears, and slammed the door closed.
That’s when I last saw her before I died because of over-medication.”
He turned to face Charlotte, finding the girl now watched him with indescribable emotions in her expression. “I loved my sister, but I also thought if I died or never been born will be better to her. But after all these years, I understand one thing from my friend.
If I didn’t exist, I would’ve never been able to love her.
So…How’s the answer?” Angel raised an eyebrow.
“…When did you become so emotional?”
“Hey!” Angel flinched up. “That’s so underestimate.” He pouted.
“Not underestimate, just a truth.” Charlotte raised an eyebrow, and yet, she smiled with a sigh. “But…Thanks, anyway. For answering.”
The sinner again, stunned by the smile he received.
…
He laughed, smiling back with closed eyes. “Anytime, princess.”
So, they sat there in silence. Charlotte did seem a bit comforted, even though her mood was still not really raised. But after all, it was enough of what Angel can do to help her.
“So, um.” Angel began, slowly putting a hand on Charlotte’s shoulder. “What makes you think of that, by the way?”
Unfortunately, Charlotte frowned and shed away from Angel’s touch. Oh well, need more time than I thought. Angel swallowed. “…Not a big deal, just a dream.” However, Charlotte still answered. “Not like I want to tell you about it.” She replenished.
“Oh, damn, okay then.” Angel bitted his lips in embarrassment.
“Hon.” Charlotte immediately turned around when she heard the loving voice called her. “Vaggie.” She said like a prayer, already attempted to stood up and walked towards the fallen angel.
“Oh no, no. You sit there.” Vaggie smiled with a titled head. Her hands were holding a bowl with a spoon, a nice soup prepared.
She stopped when she arrived at the couch and sat beside her waiting girlfriend as Angel had moved to the bar to join Husk and Cherri. She looked Charlotte in eyes, finding the girl was staring at her, with slightly narrowed eyes that showed unexplainable emotions.
“Aw…” Vaggie reached out a hand after putting the bowl on the table. “What’s wrong, sweetie?” She poked on the Princess’s black triangle nose.
“…Missed you.” Charlotte whimpered, her red eyes moving downwards.
“Oh hon…” She hurried moved to kiss gently on Charlotte’s cheek. “I’m here. I’m right here.” Hands rubbed her shoulders. “Tell me what’s problem, please? I want to help.”
Charlotte blinked, and then gazed downwards. “A nightmare…about when I was young.”
“Oh.” Vaggie frowned in worry. “Is it about your parents or?”
“My mother.” What a damn lie. “Even though I can’t quite remember her face. Y’know like, not seeing that woman for over twenty years?”
“I know.” The angel continued rubbing the Princess’s shoulder, giving encouragement. “What did she do?”
“Talking nonsense.” Charlotte frowned, narrowing her eyes while her iris trembling. Vaggie assumed it as a sight of hurtful memories. “As awful as she always was. And…Vags?”
“Yes?”
“What if…I’m-” really not their daughter; a monster “-not what I’ve meant to be?”
To this, Vaggie leaned closer, her eyebrows’ front section raised in confuse and worry as she watched closely to Charlotte’s face. “Woah. Where did these come from?”
“I…I don’t know.”
I don’t even know who I am.
“I felt like…I’m losing it.”
“Losing what?” Vaggie chased, supporting her to say more, to let out more.
I’m losing myself.
“I…don’t know.” The blonde repeated.
However, beyond her expectations, Vaggie moved both of her hands and cupped her cheek as gently as usual, pulling her eyes to look right to hers. “It’s alright.” She said firmly. “We’ll figure it out, as we always do.”
She brought their forehead together. “And, I don’t know what answer the future might bring to us for your confusion but, to me, you’re just you.” Vaggie moved a little. “You’re just Charlie. You’re just Charlotte Morningstar, who deserved nothing but kindness and care.”
“You don’t have to be strong for now. You’ve been through more than you should have. Rest with me, okay?”
Charlotte bitted her lips hardly, trying to press down the need to let the tears free as her eyes was getting watery. She forced down a sob, a whimper, and eventually hummed in respond then leaned back to the couch.
Vaggie smiled fondly at her. Again, a fought to held back those annoying tears.
“Don’t forget your soup.” The angel said, picking the bowl up along with the spoon and using it to scoop up the warm liquids. Seeing Vaggie was attempting to fed her, Charlotte smiled a little, feeling been loved but then a sang of uncertain shot through her mind.
“I-I can do it myself.” Said the Princess as she took the bowl from the grey hands, bringing it to the front of her own chest.
Vaggie obviously surprised by the act, but she didn’t do anything else but watched Charlotte with a smile and sigh. “Alright, hon.”
She leaned on the couch the same as Charlotte did. Her attention suddenly caught by the tv. “What about some show, or movies?” The Princess thought for a while, then nodded. “Whatever you choose.” And took a sip of soup.
Vaggie smirked, and grabbed the controller to scrolled down the screen, finding her favourite movie.
“Can we join?” Angel’s voice sounded from behind. Both girls flinched a little in shocked. “Well of couse.” Vaggie answered, after making sure her girlfriend had no problem with it of course.
Soon, Angel, Husk, Sir Pentious, Niffty, even Cherri went here and sat at their own place on the couch area. “Who’s that sinner?” Charlotte asked when she notice the pink-haired sinner with one eye. “She’s Cherri, Angel’s friend.” The hotelier introduced.
As the movie started, the group of demons relaxed in their seat as they all focus on the screen. Charlotte had already finished her soup. The bowl was placed down on the table and now exhaustion slowly crawled up to her yet the Princess was annoyed to sleep again.
She didn’t want to. She had sleep for long enough.
So, she stayed awake, trying as hard to keep her eyes open despite she was now a bit strengthless to do anything else.
Charlotte felt a sudden weight landed on her shoulder. She gazed over, not surprised to find Vaggie leaned her head on it as if her shoulder’s a pillow. She smiled a little.
Vaggie giggled along with the residents when a funny scene showed on the screen. However, she noticed there were no sounds coming from the person she’d been leaning on and the fact Charlotte hadn’t moved for a while motivated her to sit up and looked at her girlfriend.
Charlotte had closed her eyes at some point. Her face relaxed, mouth opened slightly as she silently snored.
Aw. Vaggie mewed in her mind, nearly died from the cuteness her lover unconsciously spread out.
She sighed adoringly, pulling Charlotte’s head down slowly to let it rested on her shoulder. As for their height difference, the Princess had to bow down and her arms supported on the couch. Luckily, she didn’t wake up from the act.
“She’s asleep?” Vaggie heard Husk asked from aside. “Yeah. She needs a rest after all.”
“What a sleepy pup.” Angel teased. “The hell, Angel??” Vaggie groaned.
“So, wow. I can’t believe you’re really living with the literal Princess of Hell??” New voice reached, as Cherri joined the conversation. “I’ve told you before but you won’t believe it.” Angel shrugged.
As the group started talking or teasing or whatever, having a group chat, Vaggie smiled as she often talked with them, but more leaning in silence to be with her sleeping girlfriend.
She then realized, it was a rare peaceful scene in the hotel, where everyone’s here – did she forget someone? Never mind. – and safely enjoyed the time together, not trying to fight with others or shouting and throwing things.
The hotelier relaxed. Sometimes needed to shoo away that spider as Angel tried to do tricks on Charlotte, or telling Cherri to lower her voice when she nearly shouted, and shared a gaze with Husk when he put his eyes on the Princess in…concern? But it was surely a happy moment.
She sighed, happily, of course.
Rest well, darling.
Notes:
Seems like a radio demon has been forgot but never mind.
So um, just a tiny little spoiler I guess? Have to cherish these soft moments because we won't know what'll come next.

Chapter Text
“Hey Char? Can you grab those papers for me?”
“Oh sure, babe.” Charlotte grinned, stood up from her office chair and went to grab the papers at the opposite of the hotelier, who was tidying the forms on the office desk.
“What’s up to you, by the way?” Vaggie laughed out, her lips curled into a smile as Charlotte handed her the papers. “You’ve been so…active?” Which was true. The hellborn showed so much energy than usual today, being a cute badass – only for Vaggie – and the smiled seemed never faded from her face.
“Just happy, always as when I’m with you.” The Princess titled her head, and planted a small kiss on Vaggie’s head. “You’re teasing me.” Vaggie pouted. “Obviously, love.”
The angel rolled her eyes, in an adoring way of course.
As the time passed, Vaggie yawned from tiredness. She had been doing all the paper work for the whole morning, maybe now it’s time for a rest. “Would you like to eat lunch now, hon?” She asked, stretching her arms above her.
“No.” Charlotte answered shortly. Her eyes now stared right towards Vaggie’s yellow one and rested her chin on her own hand. “Why don’t you go eat first?”
“Charlotte, I thought I’ve warned not to starve yourself.” Vaggie narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms in front of her chest. “Come with me. I’ll make some pancakes.”
The Princess, although being low appetite since they ever know each other, always loves everything Vaggie cooked for her. Especially pancakes or other desserts. As she was told before: Charlotte loves the fluffy feel and sweet of it.
“And what if I say ‘no’?” However, this time it goes unexpectedly. Charlotte’s smile got wider, her sharp fangs showed proudly, while the hot red eyes narrowed in a usual sexy way but somehow a bit strangely.
“Bad girl.” Vaggie didn’t quite notice the strangeness though. She thought the girl was playing a role play, like they sometimes did before when Charlotte decided to get naughty and Vaggie had to stay in state firmly to led Charlotte doing correct things.
“Bad, of course.” Charlotte stood up slowly as she whispered. She walked around the table, stopping in front of her girlfriend and bowed down, just to watched her in the same eye level. “Or why will I be called as the ‘Ruler of Hell’, darling?”
Vaggie swallowed. How odd. “S-Stop the role play, Char.”
“Oh I’m not ro-”
“Got it, got it.” The angel waved her off, turned to head her way downstairs. “C’mon, let’s go.”
She reached the door, but she noticed Charlotte remained her place as red eyes almost seemed to burn through her. With a sigh, Vaggie turned around, giving a last speech before she opened the door and step out. “Pancakes will be ready in 10 minutes, remember don’t let the food be cold.”
The door shut gently.
Charlotte watched.
And grinned.
“Coming right up, Vaggie.”
Even though Cherri seemed to present in the hotel almost every day, but the sinner hadn’t announced she would join the hotel.
“I come here only for Angel.” That’s her own words when Vaggie asked her.
Not like she minded it, though. Having a friend of Angel arriving, Vaggie of course notice how the spider become happier. Seemed like she didn’t have to worry too much of the relationship between the residents.
At least, there were no more shouting, fighting or destruction in the hotel anymore.
An improvement.
Maybe, if she tried harder and keep going…she can finally made Charlotte’s old dream come true.
She can finally prove to Charlotte that-
“I thought I saw the Princess heading out with car this morning?” Cherri’s voice entered her head, cutting off her thoughts. Vaggie blinked, realized she was in a group conversation with the sinners.
“What do you mean?” Angel asked.
“Like literally?” Cherri rolled her eyes. “She seemed like she was going for a long trip but now she’s here.”
Huh?
She didn’t even know Charlotte went out this morning.
She’d woke up with her.
“Impossible.” Vaggie stated. “I woke up with her. She’d been in the hotel this whole day.” She said while turning to watch Charlotte walking up the stairs. The distance between them weren’t enough to let the Princess heard their conversation.
“Oh wow. Then I guess I saw the fucking wrong person.” Cherri chuckled awkwardly.
“Hey!!”
Angel shouted with red liquid spread down his head. He turned around, finding the Princess of Hell poured a drink above him. “What the fuck is this for??” The sinner yelled, wiping off the liquids with his hands.
“Do it again.” Charlotte narrowed her eyes, her tone in an unshakable firmness. “Or else you’ll face your consequence.”
Vaggie and the others stood up from shock. They were at the middle of an exercise, which the host asked them to wrote down three good things about others, then messing those up to let them grabbed random papers and read it out. As usual, Angel didn’t like this kind of things so he in fact do it quite perfunctory.
“Charlie!” Vaggie called. “That’s unnecessary!” She walked over to them, grabbing a towel from Niffty and gave it to Angel. “I’m just doing the right thing.” However, Charlotte stood her point. “If this fucker keeps being useless then there will be no chance for redemption. I’m just helping him. And I can’t believe I’m helping a shitty rat though.”
“That wasn’t something you said before.” Angel groaned. “And I did cooperate! Or else I would move out from here a long ago.”
“You’re homeless out there.” The Morningstar sneered. “Moving out from a free house will not be good, especially you are in here.”
The spider chocked, his eyes widened in disbelief. “Hey, that’s enough.” Husk joined the arguing, his eyebrows frowned deeply. “Let’s just continue. It doesn’t have to end this way.”
The Princess looked at the bartender. “Of course it doesn’t have to end this way.” She smiled. “There’s no need to argue with losers. Well then, I got to return to my job.”
She turned and starting to head upstairs. Vaggie, even though still stunned from what she heard from that familiar mouth, quickly moved to grab Charlotte’s wrist. “Charlotte, apologize.” The angel said firmly, eyes searched along the pale face of the Princess.
What is wrong with her?
“Why need to apologize, my love?” Charlotte spoke slowly in a deep, teasingly tone. She leaned down a bit, staring directly into Vaggie’s single eye with a tilted head. “Am I saying the wrong thing?”
“Yes.” Out of Charlotte’s expect, Vaggie nodded. “Angel doesn’t deserve to be treated like that. C’mon, say sorry.”
The girls stared at each other for the next few seconds.
“Seriously?” Charlotte’s expression darkened. “You’re standing up for him?”
“I- That’s not the point, Char. You can’t say something like that.”
“Why not? Who’s the Ruler here?”
“That’s not the point!” Vaggie tried. “You’re hurting Angel’s feelings and that’s the point! It’s not about who you are or who he is, in this hotel, everyone’s equal, and I thought you knew that.”
Seeing Charlotte oddly made no reaction from her words, Vaggie moved closer, in attempt to grab her hand. “C’mon…I know it was your Pride causing this, right? It’s just an apology, nothing else.” Soften her tone, the hotelier made a pleading eye, the one she knew that Charlotte can never resist.
Yet, unfortunately…
Charlotte stared at her. A sneer escaped from her lips. “If that’s so…” She whispered. “Guess I don’t have to listen to you, since my ‘Pride’ is affecting me.”
Vaggie widened her eyes. “What-”
“Have you seen an extreme proud person apology to others?” The Princess titled her head. “I can just say the answer: No. Because she’s never wrong. That’s called ‘Pride’.”
With a laugh from satisfaction, Charlotte walked away.
…
“What the fuck?” Vaggie didn’t know who said that.
Knock Knock Knock.
Vaggie knocked at the door connecting to Charlotte’s office.
None of them have seen the girl since she disappeared at afternoon. Vaggie had texted her but no respond, so she decided to just get her in person.
“Charlotte?” Vaggie called. No respond.
At the same time, the door was locked. This made Vaggie got even more confuse, as the Princess never locked her door – since only Vaggie was allowed to her office, that’s all.
“Charlotte, I know you’re in there.” She tried again, yet the situation didn’t change.
What is wrong with her? She can’t help but questioned in her mind. Why is she-
Yet before she could get that topic deep into her mind, a small beep from her phone caught her attention.
Char: [How are you doing, love? I miss you.]
Char: [btw, heaven asked for a meeting, not at the embassy but at their place.]
Char: [I was thinking to have you go together.]
Char: [Will that sound good? I’m not sure if you wanna go back to that place so…]
Char: [Let me know if you want to. No forcing.]
Vaggie stared at the phone screen. The words that Charlotte spoke to her earlier hadn’t been erased.
Why is her attitude switched so…quickly?
And what does she mean she misses her?
With those question in her mind, Vaggie hesitantly replied.
Vaggie: [Why not?]
Vaggie: [I’ll come with you.]
Vaggie: [But you have to explain to me first, about earlier.]
It took about a minute for Charlotte to text back.
Char: [Got it.]
Char: [I’ll come get you by…10am tomorrow.]
Char: [Remember don’t push yourself, if you aren’t comfortable being up there please tell me, okay?]
Char: [Gotta go. Love you.]
Gotta go?
What does she mean she gotta go??
Strange. Vaggie thought. But eventually, she sent back a sticker as a reply.
She’ll get answers from the Morningstar once she meets her.
Notes:
First of all, I wanna apologize for this longgg update. I got too many things to do and I just can't find the time or mood to write my stories. Sorry for the long wait, and the short (and kinda boring?) chapter. I'll try to update the next one asap.
Second, gotta be ready, as the story is going to have some angst now - which I hope I won't mess up in future.
Comments and Kudos helps a lot. Thank you for everyone who loves my series. ❤❤
