Chapter 1: Wait.

Chapter Text

During today's morning meeting, to Alastor’s misfortune was uneventful. For the whole thing, he was barely even paying attention. All he picked out was that there was going to be another therapy circle this afternoon. “Thank you everyone for coming to this meeting, I hope you all have a great day!” Charlie cheerfully said. Alastor filled with excitement, finally being released from that torture. As soon as the Radio Demon was getting ready to leave Charlie called towards him “Hey Al, could you stay a little longer, please” As irritated Alastor was, he didn’t let it show, amping up his flair “Of course my dear, whatever you need” With this he brought out his cane and leaned on it. Once everyone left, Alastor double checked if no one was listening with the help of his Shadow. When he was sure, he looked towards Charlie and questioned “What is on your mind today, my dear?” When ending his sentence he leaned his head a bit to the right. Charlie was pacing in the middle of the room, giving some worried glances towards Alastor. Ah, shit; what does she want Alastor thought, keeping himself looking as nonchalant as he could. After what felt like an eternity, Charlie finally calmed down. She still didn’t look into Alastor's direction, but she did at least start talking. “So, Alastor I'm very glad for all you've done for the hotel, I greatly appreciate it, but…” She left the last part runoff, seeming to decide her word choice. If she doesn't start explaining, I swear- “Well what I mean is that even though you've been a big part of my life for these past months, I…I- I… well I unfortunately don't see you as a father” Charlie finally looks into Alastor eyes “I'm sorry Alastor” Oh, it's only about this…She wasted my time to tell me this! As annoyed as Alastor was for having his very precious time wasted, he still didn't let it show. “My dear, you don't have to worry a bit. I know I'll never be able to replace your sad excuse for a father, I was only saying all of that for… entertainment” He said, having a laugh track play in the background “Wait, so anything you said, you didn't mean it” Charlie asked looking hurt. “Of course not, anything and everything I said was sincere. Seeing our Majesty's musical number and seeing him squirm when faced with reality, that's where the true entertainment came from!” “So… you were serious when you said you see me as your daughter?” Charlie asked, more confused than before “Know Charlotte don't start putting words in my mouth, this whole situation was just your father and I putting on a show, with him playing perfectly as the clown!” He says throwing some Jazz hands in there “If you desperately want clarification; anything related to the hotel or your dream you can take as the truth, anything else, well you can leave that for you interpretation” “Oh, okay. That doesn't really answer-” Alastor quickly interrupts, wanting to just leave “Know is that all you wanted to talk about?” Charlie contemplates for a while before saying “No, that's pretty much all I wanted to ask. Thank you Alastor for um… clarifying some things” She puts on a smile that the Radio Demon could obviously tell was fake. “Well if my assistance is no longer needed then I'll be off my way” Alastor says, letting out a small bow before being taken by his shadows.

Alastor re-apeared in his room, giving his shadow a thankful nod before going to a workbench that was across from his bed. Alastor was still adjusting to his new room. Throughout the whole building of the hotel he wasn’t around monitoring the reconstructions, as his accident kept him unable to get there sooner. The whole hotel ended up being a bunch of mixtures of absurd colors, and worst of all; it was filled with circus themed junk. To Alastor relief, when he first arrived in his room, he was greeted by a somewhat 90s themed vibe., making it the least revolting place in the whole hotel. It was still missing some key elements such as his bayou or his collection of animal heads, but it could have been worse. More intriguing to him, next to his bed, was a small radio. It seemed to be handcrafted, having intrigued details of deer antlers on both of its sides, actually looking somewhat like his own radios. The main difference was the color scheme, that one having a light pinkish tone on it. Alastor didn’t think much of it the first time he saw it, chopped it off as being a form of gift from Charlie. From where he was he turned on the little radio, filling the silence with the song from the 1920's. With this he made his broken cain appear, gently placing it onto the workbench. Staring at it with an annoying grin. “If that bird wasn’t dead already, I'd have hunted him and killed him myself” He said out loud, menacingly. He desperately wanted to start trying to repair it, but he knew he still wasn't well enough to use too much of his power. The thought of being weak filled him with range, wanting nothing more than to kill someone. He got up and was about to go out and find some demons before his shadow got his attention. “What” Alastor said, grinding his teeth. The shadow stared back at him, narrowing his eyes and crossing his hands. “Oh, don't give me that look, I'll be quick” Alastor said while flicking his hand dismissively. His Shadow didn't move from his position, only narrowing his eyes even more and dropping its own smile. “Why don't you go back to my side and let me do what I want to do” Again no reaction from his Shadow. Alastor knew why, he knew he shouldn't be picking up fights in his condition. Which just infuriated him more, not going was giving defeat that he was weak. WHICH HE WASN’T. The Shadow, noticing that Alastor wasn't going to listen to him, grabbed Alastor and pulled him to the seating area. Placing him in a vintage red striped chair, while he himself sat across from him. “You think making me sit will cause me to stop trying to go,” Alastor said, giving a deadly glare to his Shadow. The Shadow ignores that only giving the reaction of one will presume to be an eye roll. They sat there in silence for a while, Alastor debating his odds. After a while, The Shadow moves from his spot closer towards Alastor. He then proceeds to point onto Alastor's chest. “What, you think a measly little scratch will affect me” His Shadow just looked at him annoyed. Which honestly it was a dumb idea for Alastor to lie to his Shadow when they literally have the same mind. “Okay so it's an above average scratch, but that doesn't mean I can't kill some low life demons” The Shadow gave another annoyed look towards him “I’m perfectly able to take care of myself” he said losing more of his patients. The shadow sharply points both of his hands towards Alastor's chest. “That was a different circumstance” The shadow went back to the chair, giving a disapproving look towards him. Seeing as his Shadow was obviously not going to let him leave, he begrudgingly agrees to stay in. Anyway he has better things to do than killing imbecile demons. The Shadow, noticing Alators defeat, gives him a smile and nod before going to who knows where. Alastor has always been intrigued by his shadow, he was one of the only creatures who could surprise the Radio Demon. Even though they were practically identical, his Shadow had somewhat of a mind of its own. It always seems to look at the practical, being the one that kept more of the human side of Alastor. It always seems to feel how Alator actually felt during certain situations, even having the ability to drop his own smile. “I really have to get him in control,” Alastor said, letting off a puff and leaning on his chair.

It has been a while of Alastor being in his room as the radio already went over many songs from the roaring 20s. Alastor knew he needed to leave his room eventually, but he didn’t even have the energy to get up from his chair; especially when every time he took a step it felt like was stepping on glass shards. Around later than noon, there was a knock on his door. Alastor groaned at the interruption. He was about to ask his Shadow, who had returned and was back sitting on the opposite end of the chair, to open the door for him, before he started thinking of his odds. If I send my Shadow, I'll still need to get up to actually talk to whoever is on the other side, Alastor thought annoyed. On the third knock he finally got up, using the chair he was in to help him stay balanced. I wish I had my cain. Once getting his balance, he moves towards the door and opens it. “What can I do for you-” Alastor started saying until he noticed who was on the other end “Oh, what do you need Husker” He gave up his flair to a more annoyed tone. “Hey boss, we're about to start an activity and Charlie wanted to ask if you’re going to join us” Husk said warily, “Hm… Is it obligatory that I go?” “Not necessarily, but she did want everyone to be there.” Of course she does “Well then, please inform Charlie that I'll be down in about ten minutes” Husker nodded to this then left to go back to the lobby. Once he’s left alone again, Alastor sighs loudly. “See, this is why I should have gone hunting, now I have to waste my time on those pointless rehabilitation activities” He directly says towards his Shadow. Their Shadow merely gives him an eye roll as a response. “Of course why would you even care, you're not the one that has to socialize” From this his Shadow moves from his spot towards Alastor. “What?” Alastor asks. His Shadow points towards the door “I said I'll be done in ten minutes, so I'll wait ten minutes. No need in making it go faster” His Shadow gave a shrug and dragged Alastor back towards the chair “Have you ever considered being more gentle?” Alastor asked while he was being pulled. His Shadow gave him a look that Alastor could obviously interpret as asking him the same question. Once seated on the chair he said “Ha, thank you” His Shadow, appreciating the compliment, breamed at it and then disappeared.

With the combined motion of the songs playing in the background and no noise from the pesky residence, Alastor had been able to fall asleep at some point. Unfortunately, exactly when it hit ten minutes his shadow appeared right in front him. Without opening his eyes Alastor said “Yes, I’m aware that it’s been ten minutes” The Shadow kept hovering over him as if saying well why haven’t you gotten up, then “Augh, I’m going” He said opening his eyes. Once his eyes adjusted, he was faced with his Shadow staring directly at him. “I'm getting up, no need to continue being this close” Alastor said moving his hand to dismiss his Shadow. Alastor stretched for a while, then looked at his Shadow and said “Don't bring too much attention towards yourself” His Shadow taking the hint, transported Alastor to the lobby.

Chapter Text

Things were starting to get better at the hotel. Sure they haven’t had a new resident check in, but everyone who did reside there was warming up to each other more.

Who would have thought that fighting in a deadly war against angelic beings would be the thing that brought them together.

Not her.

This and the combining fact that they all shared a form of grief towards their fallen serpent, Sir Pentious. Even though he had been sent to the hotel to spy on them, they all have grown a connection towards him.

Charlie had been reminded countless times that his demise wasn’t her fault, but the fault of the angels, but nothing could take away the weight of guilt and regret that laid upon her shoulders.

With this it prompted Charlie to arrange a group therapy session related towards that.

When she had announced this idea in their morning meeting, to her surprise, no one had complained about it, not even Alastor! With their agreement, she arranged for the session to happen at their living room and to begin at noon, but to her displeasure it was already thirty minutes after and the only people present were herself, her girlfriend, and the little maid, Niffty.

“Vaggie do you think that they bailed on us?” Charlie asked her, sadness leaking from her voice

“I’m not going to lie hun, but it does seem so” She said putting her arm on her girlfriend's shoulder trying to comfort her.

“But, they had all agreed that they’ll come” exasperated, she stands up and starts pacing in the room. “If they didn’t want to do this, why would they agree with it in the beginning instead of just bringing my hopes that they’re actually going to participate in the activities. Okay, I understand this one as it revolves around a…touchy subject, but what about all the other times. Why agree and then come up with an extraneous excuse towards why they didn’t come!” Stopping her pacing she turns to Vaggie, she asks “Why do they keep doing this?”

“Look Charlie, I know you want to see the good in all people, but you have to remember that they’re sinners and the only reason that they probably didn’t outright disagreed with your idea was just so you wouldn’t try to convince them otherwise”

“Oh” Charlie said, placing herself back on the couch next to her girlfriend, de-inflating herself.

“...or you know, maybe they don’t tell you because they don’t want to hurt your feelings” Vaggie said, trying to comfort her once more

“I’ll prefer that they’ll just tell me they don’t want to come, instead of just lying to me. It hurts even more when”-

“Why don’t you just force them to come?!’” A little voice interrupted the princess rambling, prompting both women to shift their gaze and attention to the little maid sitting in the ground.

“Um…Niffty I love your…eh-enthusiasm, but this is a place where people can have their own choice free of judgment, we want to encourage people to participate in the rehabilitation activities, not out right force them.”

Throughout her whole speech, Niffty had zoned out and put her whole attention on the little drawing she had been making. Once Niffty had heard that Charlie stopped talking she suggested, “If you’re having trouble with forcing people, you can just ask for Alastor’s help, he loves forcing people to do stuff.”

“No, no, I’m fine. No need to get Alastor involved with this” Charlie nervously assured, hoping that the little maid will get her message and not get Alastor frightening any of the residents.

Before anyone could talk, a voice came from the distance; “Sorry, I’m late princess, I was doing something for the boss”

Seeing the sight of the grumpy bartender brought an immense joy to the princess,

Yes! He wasn’t lying and actually came!! Charlie thought barely containing herself

“No need to worry Husk you’re not late, we’re still waiting for the others to arrive themselves.” At this point her excitement was oozing out of her speech.

“Oh, well Angel Dust texted me and said he’s not going to make it, said something about Valentino having one of those…days” Husk growled, just thinking of that wretched moth, brought venom to his mouth.

“Oh…” Charlie mumbled, tring to bury herself in the cushions, hoping that will take away her guilt

it doesn’t.

“What’s wrong, Charlie?” Vaggie asked

“It’s just…augh, I feel so bad for him! I just wish I could have done more to help” She says, slamming her face onto her hands.

“Well technically you could, if you weren’t so…” Husk began saying while waving his hands towards her direction “you know, Sunshine and Rainbows”

“Husk!” Vaggie yelled fury overtaking her until she feels a hand placed onto her shoulders

“No, Vaggie, he’s right-”

Laughing broke their tension with how erupt and maniacal it was.

“You can always just kill the bad boy, then I can have him for my collection or Alastor will even add him to his radio show. Oh, please do it. I miss hearing the screams on the Radio!”

“That’s a… a, well it’s a suggestion, but you know Niffty, murder isn’t always the answer-”

“Well why the fuck not!” Husk barked, losing his temper with each second

“Muder is bad, Husk” Vaggie respond, with herself losing her own temper. If this kept going on one more second, she might end up stabbing that alcoholic in his throat

“Don’t start saying that murder is bad when you were here murdering every filthy rot in this hellish pit hole just a couple of years ago!”

Hearing this Vaggie tenses, clenching her jaw and holding onto the couch causing a rip towards it. Fuming at the audacity of the bartender, Vaggie was more than ready to get going along with her previous desires, but Husk had continue on his rampage before she could enact

“We’re in Hell, the bottom line of life, and you two are here bitching about how murder is bad, have you even seen any of your guests here. You have an Overload, cannibalistic, serial killer living on your top floor!” Husk shouted

“What’s your fucking point, Husk” Vaggie hissed, spitting out his name like venom

“My fucking point is that killing someone, especially that fucker wouldn’t be bad, frankly it will bring some good to this place…at least then Angel won’t have to be suffering this much”

Silence fell upon their room, his rant leaning heavily on the looby. Everyone’s staring anywhere, but at each other. Everyone except for Husk, who was still glaring towards Vaggie.

“Husk…”

Charlie croaked, but her statement was quickly forgotten with some clanking coming from down the hall. By each second the noise had gotten louder, louder, and louder to the point of annoyance. Everyone’s eyes had shifted towards the doorway awaiting for what’s going to come.

“Charlie, are you in here?” Came a voice, a head popping into that said doorway.

“Oh, there you are. Hey Char Char, how are you doing?” Lucifer exclaimed, making himself more visible and waving his hand while walking into the room; the clanking sound still followed pursuit.

“Hi dad, I’m doing great” Charlie responded, still taking the previous conversation

“Oh, it’s only him,” Husk groaned.

With this, he walked towards where Niffty was and took her. Sitting both of them on opposite ends from the girls.

Lucifer witnessing this action couldn’t help but wonder if they were actually that scared of him.

You know, as they should be.

“Ha ha, yes I know, it’s me. Don’t be frighten” He pridefully stated while taking a seat himself

“I really don’t care for who you are, I just thought you were someone else”

A second passes.

“Um…well, who could be better than me, you know the King of Hell, Ruler of Demons, Prince of Darkness, Father of Lies, Lucifer Morningstar” He sneered, putting an unnecessary emphasis on each of his titles.

“Yes, yes, we’re all aware who you are”

“What is that supposed to mean–”

“Okay, Dad, Husk, um…Dad, I’m so glad that you made it, thank you for coming” Charlie buds into their conversation trying to control the situation.

Don’t need to have another screaming match.

Hearing his daughter's voice brought all of Lucifer’s attention away from the bartender and towards her

“Of course Charlie, anything for you”

“Yeah, it only took you her whole life” Husk mumbled to himself.

“Oh, did you say something, Husk?” Charlie asked when hearing a muffled voice coming from the cat hybrid.

“No, no it’s nothing…so princess what is this activity about, again?” Husk asked shifting the conversation not wanting to have to experience the fury of the devil

“Husk, did you even pay attention in today's morning meeting, Charlie already explained what this is about” Vaggie said accusingly, still having some fire on her.

“It’s fine Vaggie” She gave a reassuring smile to her girlfriend before continuing “For today's activity we are having another group therapy. In this we will mainly focus on losses and grieving with sharing our own experiences towards it and healthy methods on how to cope.” Charlie explained hoping that the bartender won’t end up backing out of the activity.

“Oh…

Alastor not going to like this” Husk muttered

Hearing that pompous freak mentioned brought Lucifer, who had been in his head for the last conversations, back to the present.

Why was he even at the hotel, again? What did he want with his daughter? Wait, doesn’t that Radio Shit own that cat’s soul, why would he care what he thinks?

“If you don’t mind me asking, Tusk, why would you care if that frea–erm, I mean Alastor would like this activity?” Lucifer asks him

“My name is Husk” He stated before answering the question “and I don’t, I just don’t want to deal with his wrath from whatever this therapy will unfold” he said sneering through his teeth

Oh, okay, that actually makes sense.

“How come he’s not going to like this activity?” Lucifer blurted out without thinking. He was even surprised how senser his voice sounded, like he actually cared about this Radio Freak, which he doesn’t.

Curiosity, that’s the reason, he is a very curious being.

This statement had also caught the rest out of guard, seeing as the question seemed the most directed towards Husk, and he’s the first to recover from the shock, he responds to the King.

“Who wouldn’t like to have to confront and share their grief, especially when being in Hell” Husk stated, keeping his voice neutral and not sharing anything that will reveal too much about his boss.

“Yes, I get that, but there’s obviously a deeper reason,” Lucifer said, not really caring how he’s coming off now. Seeing as the bartender is deliberately keep his answer anonymous caught his attention. Again, his curiosity taking control

Old habits die hard.

Husk wasn’t liking the way the conversation was going, why does the king even care?

“Look, your majesty, I’ll suggest that you stop budding into people’s lifes, especially Alastor’s. If you desperately want an answer then go ask that person directly, I can’t promise that they’ll actually answer your questions, but with whatever you do don’t start getting me involve” He said heavenly implying that he’s done with this conversation.

Lucifer, not taking the hint, continues “So, you do know something?”

Annoyance starts creeping down his neck, if that tiny man wasn’t the king he would have just killed him the moment he opened his mouth. Husk had even surprisingly found himself wishing Alastor had given him more jobs, killing an unlucky sinner or picking up venison from Cannibal Town, even doing blasted paperwork sounded more appealing than whatever this conversation was going.

Charlie, who had been witnessing this whole conversation unfold, had noticed that Husk seemed to be getting more uncomfortable. Even Niffty had a weird look on her face, she started to doubt this activity, but she decided to debate her idea later and to focus on the issue at hand.

She would greatly not want another one of her friends to die, thank you very much.

“Hey, um, Husk” Charlie said warringly, still trying to decide how to situate the situation.

“Could you please go ask Alastor if he’s going to be joining us, I think he’s up in his room” Charlie landed, probably not the best thing to ask, especially with Alastor being the subject that caused this whole ordeal, but it was the best thing she could come up with.

Husk picked up on Charlie’s attempt. She really has to work on her lies Husk thought but still somewhat felt grateful for getting the opportunity to get out of this.

“Will do, princess” He said, getting up and leaving the room.

“Wait, does that fuc–Alastor, have to come?” Lucifer asked, annoyed that not only that fucker was invited, but they had to be beggging for him to come. No one ever begs for his attendance, so what’s so important with that shitty Overload?

“Well your Majesty everyone at the hotel is expected to participate in these rehabilitation activities” Vaggie ended up responding, giving her girlfriend a break from these idiotic questions

“I thought that he didn’t want to get redeemed, actually on that note why is he even here at the hotel?” Lucifer asked the question that has been nagging him since he met the Radio men himself.

“Well, he’s at the hotel–”

“For entertainment!” Niffty blurted out, interrupting Charlie

Who did that girl think she was to interrupt my daughter like that, he had thought annoyed of the disrespect these sinners showed to them.

“Hey, cyclops I was asking my daughter not you” Lucifer jeered

“Dad! That’s not nice” Charlie said “Anyway, Nifty knows Al more than any of us here”

“Well she’s obviously lying, like come on who comes to a hotel for entertainment!”

“Alastor that’s who” A voice came behind Lucifer that totally didn’t make him jump.

He came fast

Turning around he finds the bartender leaning on the side of the door frame, crossing his arms, and holding a cheap booze in his left hand.

Tch, typical sinner Lucifer thought while turning around to face his daughter again.

“Husk! What did Alastor say?” Charlie said, barely containing her enthusiasm.

She also decided to ignore her dad’s sour face when she said that. She will have to have a talk with him about that later.

“Eh, right he said he’ll be down here in about…ten minutes” Husk reported, drinking through his pause

Wait, what!? Why did he agree to come? Pft, he’s only doing this to get Charlie’s trust, but she’ll obviously see through his lies Lucifer thought

“Oh, that’s great” Charlie said, a small smile pulled onto her face

Shit.

Well at least she has an amazing father that can see through sinner bullshit

“Know, Charlie may I need to remind you that we’re referring to the Radio Demon”

“I know, Dad-” Charlie responded with a hiss in her tone. She was getting tired with these conversations, especially with having to hear her own father insult her friends.

“He’s not here to redeem himself, he’s only going to participate in this as part of his masterplan-”

“Dad!” Charlie yelled horns threatening to come out, but she caught herself. Taking a few breaths she ends up continuing.

“Dad, I’m aware that Alastor seems unredeemable, but at the same time you don’t truly know him and can’t be making these claims”

“Charlie, you can’t actually believe that sinners, any of these sinners, have an actual chance to make it into heaven” he retorted. waving his hand up

“All this thinking is going to do is get you hurt”

“No offence Sir” Vaggie mumbled “but the purpose of this hotel is to help sinners to better themselves and if any, or in this case Alastor, turns against us we and especially Charlie is more than capable of defending themselves” Finishing her statement, she gives her partners hand a squeeze and a small smile

“Either way-” Lucifer started, having an abundance of counter arguments, but was prompted to stop…

“Our dear little exorcist is right, your highness~”

Chapter Text

Once traveling through his shadows, Alastor expected to appear in the living room, but to his surprise he appeared in the outside hallway.

Turning to his Shadow he says “Why did you bring me here?”

As a response the Shadow places their finger onto their nonexistent mouth and moves both of them to be able to see inside the room

“What do you want?” Alastor half whispered

Again, his Shadow shushes him, and then points towards the room

“...in this case Alastor, turns against us we and especially Charlie is more than capable of defending themselves”

Oh, Alastor thought, with his smile growing by the second

“Either way-”

Having doubts of me, now we can't be letting that happen, can't we Alastor communicate with his Shadow, both beings grinning at the thought.

With this he starts walking into the room, leans down next to the king's ear and in a sing songy voice says “Our dear little exorcist is right, your highness~”

His smile only widened when seeing that pitiful little creature jump

“Ah, holy shit! What’s…what’s wrong with you!”

“Many things, what about you?”

“Ah, what! Are you seriously asking ME that, There’s nothing wrong with me!” Lucifer said, horns coming out of him

“Hmm, I beg to differ’ Alastor nonchalantly responds, walking pass the king, ignoring the screaming out of him

“Dad! You can’t just be rude to him” Charlie scolded, breaking through her fathers words

“But, Charlie he’s also being rude” He retorted

“Dad, you were bashing him and asked him a very impolite question”

“It was rhetorical! It’s not my fault that he’s to stupid to understand those”

“Rhetorical or not, the implication was still there!”

The Morningstar’s vickery sound faded out from Alastor as he picked up a little drawing that was left in the ground.

The said drawing had the hotel with everyone standing in front of it. With it, it had Charlie and Vaggie kissing each other, a very grumpy Husk looking annoyed at Angel Dust who seemed to be making a provocative posture, Niffty perched up on his shoulder, and that poor pathetic king standing all alone to the side.

Ha! Niffty sure has a gift Alastor thought while walking to sit next to Husk and Niffty.

“Very nice drawing, little Niffty dear” Alastor complimented while giving the drawing back to her

“Thank you, Al! I’m not done with it, though, I still finish coloring the hotel and add a little more details here, here, and definitely here!” Niffty chatted aesthetically

“Well, I can’t wait to see the finish drawing”

“So–what’s your favorite part of it!?” She asked handing the drawing back to him

“Hmm…” Alastor thought while staring at the little drawing “Well, I really love how you drew me, always able to capture my essence, but I have to say what really makes this a masterpiece is our dear Majesty so depressed being on his lonesome”

“Excuse me! What did you just say!!” Lucifer screeched turning his head from his daughter to the trio

“Hm, you know it’s rude to bud into conversations, I would have expected you to know that, you are a king after all” Alastor mocked, holding the piece of paper close to his chest

“Not if you’re talking about me, know what is it that you filthy sinners were spreading behind your king’s back”

“Just because your the fucking ruler of hell doesn’t give you the right to act this way” Husk retorted, just so done with Lucifer’s attitude

“I can take you out of existence” He threatened getting all in the feline's face.

At this point Lucifer was too gone, fury taking over, not even the gasps or croaks from the background could stop him.

And just like that, in a blink of an eye all his anger turned into confusion as he found himself lifted from the ground

Did I bring out my wings? Lucifer though while turning to his back, but instead of wings what he saw where black tentacles laze around him and what soon followed was that irritable voice

“Know you’re Majesty , why don’t we calm down and take a breather, heaven knows you need” Alastor said while placing the king down across from him

“Why you pesky-”

“Dad!” Charlie screamed at the tops of her lungs, voice echoing all throughout the hotel. With this being what felt the one hundred time screaming his name, she was already half losing herself.

Getting her breath (and sanity) back and her dad’s attention she proceeds “Can we all just calm done, Dad please stop insulting and threatening to kill my friends, AND Alastor please try to be just a little bit more nice to him and not talk about him behind his back, especially when he’s with you, can you guys please do this”

Once she finished they stayed silent, Charlie’s eyes flicking from both men, her body and smile tensing by each second.

Having enough of everything Vaggie speaks up, firmly yelling “She asked you for an answer!”

Shit, she was expecting an answer, but if I answer it will make me look improper.

Ha. there’s nothing to worry about, that freakshow is to prideful in himself to ever–

“I understand, my dear”

You have to be kidding! First he agrees to come and know to this, this is all obviously a strategic move

Right?

“Dad…”

Ah, Charlie!

“Um…yep sure thing Char Char” He responded gritting through his teeth

“Ah, thank you” she breathed out.
