Nezuko seeks out Akaza in a world of falling snow, where farewell and eternity intertwine silently beneath a moonlit sky. But some paths are already written in the wind and when the time comes to part, only echoes remain. Soft as laughter in the dusk, fragile as a dream at dawn.
Then, without thought, he let himself fall beside her into the snow and a small, delighted huff escaped Nezuko. Akaza amusedly turned his head.
“What?”
A soft giggle, light as the whisper of wind through frost-laden branches, slipped from Nezuko’s lips.
