“Hey Nora…” Raeja spoke up, back to her usual shy demeanor now that her lustful instincts no longer clouded her mind. “Do you think the motel owner will be upsset about uss making that much noisse? We did get quite, um, loud… at times…”
“Nah.” Nora quickly replied, after little consideration. “Probably not. This sort of thing happens at motels all the time! …I think…”
“That doessn’t ssound the mosst reassuring, dear…”
“Ehhh, don't worry 'bout it. We can always leave a tip to apologize if she blows up on us.”
As Nora chatted, she could feel the smooth scales of her lover's tail coiling back up around her, but this time she knowingly welcomed it, snuggling into it without a word. Shortly after the conversation ended and they started to go to sleep, Raeja peeped up with yet another question.
“Nora… Could you give me a goodnight kisss?”
Nora could see the guilty look on Raeja’s face as she asked this. Wanting to assuage this sense of embarrassment her lover felt about their intimacy, she grabbed both of the serpentine woman’s cheeks, and pressed a deep kiss onto her lips.
“Anything for my beautiful girlfriend.” She whispered with a loving but drowsy smile. “Sweet dreams Rae, I love you.” Nora closed her eyes and nuzzled into her lover’s neck, and fell asleep in her coiled embrace.
Raeja was left awake, and she could feel the burning blush those last words had left across her face. But she did her best to relax, coiling herself around Nora to feel comfortable, and resting her head on top of her’s. Raeja slowly felt her thoughts drift away into unconsciousness. For the first time she could remember, she felt truly safe from worry, cuddled there in her girlfriend’s embrace.
“I love you too.” Raeja whispered, as she fell asleep.
