   Summary

   A tale as old as time...

   Alec is the most beautiful boy in the village, he has his choice of a wife. Yet Alec yearned for something more, an adventure beyond the village. One day, his father returns from a trip disheveled and frightened. He had encountered a ferocious beast who wanted a prisoner. He had escaped with the promise to send someone in his place, or else. Alec volunteers and is held captive within the walls of the beast's estate. However, he quickly learns that there is more to the beast than what meets the eye.
