Chapter Text
Jisung is a simple guy.
His friend promised dinner if he went with him to a party. His friend bought dinner, and he went to the party. The problem is: His friend, Changbin, ditched him to go follow his newest crush, Hyunjin, for the seventh time this week. He shouldn't be surprised, because, well, it happened before, but this just means that Jisung is now alone in a crowded, loud, weird-smelling corner of this party with a now-empty red cup because he doesn't want to go in between a lot of sweaty people to refill it.
Again, Jisung is a simple guy, so when he sees this incredibly beautiful, gorgeous—he'd say—someone? He really can't tell their gender, but he's never been picky in those aspects; appearing in the middle of all that chaos, he just can't help but stare.
This person is quite literally glowing; they definitely are wearing makeup. They also have long, blonde hair, quite damaged, but it suits them so much. They are wearing a black shirt with a jacket the same colour, cargo pants, and boots with platforms. How can he be so sunshine-like when he's wearing all black? That's not his job to discover now.
Jisung realises he has been staring at the person for far too long for it to be considered as normal when he and this someone lock eyes for a good 10 uncomfortable seconds. So, Jisung, like a socially awkward 24-year-old man, panics and 'looks away.' In reality, he's still side-eyeing the person, and he almost freaks out and runs when he notices they are walking towards his corner.
Now Jisung's stupid brain is overthinking; they definitely are coming to call him out and humiliate him in front of all these people for being a creep and staring at them, and now Jisung will never even have a normal conversation with them, not that he would have if he didn't look because Jisung is Jisung, and he would never get closer to a stranger on his own, much less when they look like they're the description of the word stunning. And oh my god, they are definitely telling their friends about this ugly, creepy man who was watching them, and they will laugh, and Jisung will never ever go out again. Fuck you, Changbin, this would have never happened if…
"Hey," he hears a deep voice say. Is that with him?
Jisung looks up, and now he is face to face with the person of his dreams. They're smiling, and Jisung is thinking that there's no way that voice belongs to them in the first place, except "How are you doing?" That the voice is definitely theirs, and he is being really rude because he didn't answer either the first word or their question.
"Hmm, hi?" Jisung croaks out, Well, that was awkward, but so is his entire existence, so he doesn't worry a lot.
The person chuckles, and Jisung would make himself a clown if he got to hear that sound again. "Yeah, hi." They're still smiling, so they maybe don't think that Jisung is that ridiculous?
"My name's Felix; what's yours? They ask, and Jisung just forces himself not to get lost on his face and answers, "Jisung."
He smiles, "A cute name for a cute boy. Nice to meet you, Jisung."
Jisung answers before thinking, "You're the one who's cute. Beatiful." Damn, Jisung, do you seriously think you can flirt with this kind of person?
Luckily for him, Felix seems to find this amusing, so he just keeps his expression serious with a way-too-noticeable blush all over his face; he's definitely not fooling anyone.
"Thank you, I know." Of course. Why is everything about them so charming? Jisung thinks Felix could ask him to throw himself off a bridge, and he would without doubting it.
"Did you come here by yourself?" He's brought out of his thoughts; again, he must answer quickly, right?
"No... I actually came here with my best friend, but he kind of abandoned me here, so..." He really sucks at small talk; why is this man even talking with him in the first place? Jisung has a lot of questions, but he'll just shut the fuck up and enjoy while it lasts. "Man, that sucks. I wouldn't ever leave your side if I were him, though," He says in a different tone.
Jisung blinks a couple of times. Is the man of his dreams trying to flirt with him? Wow, if he loses his chance now, he probably won't get another ever again, so he just decides on flirting back, he already made a fool of himself, so what is there to lose? Well, there's definitely a lot to lose, this man's company, for example.
"I really don't mind as long as he tells me, but he didn't this time... Also, I was watching you, and I swear I thought you were going to tell me that I was like a stalker or something." He laughs nervously.
Felix just keeps smiling. "I've noticed you staring at me, but don't worry; I like the attention. Plus, you couldn't look creepy even if you wanted to."
Jisung chuckles. "I'll take that as a compliment." He says, finally making eye contact with Felix.
Felix's laugh is harmonious even in this loud place. "It was definitely a compliment; your features are soft, and I could never think of you doing something wrong." Felix licks his lips, and Jisung finds himself staring at his mouth; he wonders how they'd feel against his. Would they taste as sweet as they look? Would Felix's kisses be rough or soft and loving?
Jisung actually flinches when a warm hand reaches for his chin and pulls him closer, Felix is looking at his lips, too, and he wonders if this is a dream of sorts or his drink had something weird in it.
"Can I?" Felix asks, and it would be embarrassing how fast Jisung nods, but who could blame him? He's going to be kissed by an absolute angel.
The moment Felix leans in completely, he closes his eyes, and then he feels their lips touch. Jisung's heart is beating so fast now; he'll never admit how excited just a kiss from this man makes him. And as Felix grows bolder and starts kissing him properly, he just stops thinking; one of Felix's hands goes to rest on his waist, pushing them closer together, while the other one grabs the back of his neck, trying to deepen the kiss, and of course Jisung lets him. He opens his mouth, and soon enough their tongues are dancing together, and Jisung can just whine in the kiss while he completely lets go.
He's so nervous that he doesn't know what to do with his hands, so he let's them rest against Felix's own hands.
So, Jisung is a simple man; a gorgeous guy approached him in the corner of this party, and now he is making out against the wall in that same corner with that same gorgeous guy. Life is really awesome, isn't it?
Well, it looks like it isn't, because while Felix is drinking all the whines coming out of his mouth he feels his phone vibrate in his pocket and hears the faint sound of it announcing that someone is calling him, right now, how opportune. He ignores it for a while and just keeps on kissing Felix until he also probably gets tired of the never-ending calls and pulls back from Jisung.
He is still looking at his lips when he talks again. "You should probably answer that; it sounds urgent," Felix says, and his lips are shiny with spit. Jisung reluctantly gets his phone out of his pocket and picks up the call.
"Jisung, where the fuck are you? I've been calling you for like 10 minutes." Changbin yells through his phone; Jisung knows he's lying; there's no way he's been making out with Felix for that long, right?
"I'm in the same place you left me when you went to follow Hyunjin like a fucking dog." He rolls his eyes.
"Come on, you at least should have assumed that I would be doing something of the like. Plus, I paid for our dinner, so I'm not like in doubt with you or anything."
Jisung just knows he's pouting by just the tone of his voice.
"Anyway, could you tell me what you wanted? I was kind of doing something." Jisung looks at Felix as he finishes the sentence; he's just there, looking back at him. He's so pretty; is he seriously real?
"Oh! Right, I'll come find you because we're leaving. I sent you a message that I was going to drop Hyunjin off at his house, but you didn't read it, so I thought it was okay and I already came back."
"Do we really have to leave now?" He couldn't hide the disappointment in his voice.
"Of course, dummy, don't you remember? Today's Tuesday, and we both have a class in like, three hours." Shit, he forgot.
"Damn... I'll wait for you outside, I guess." Changbin says something that sounds like an okay and then hangs up. He looks down for a moment; he's getting mentally ready to say goodbye to Felix; he probably wouldn't want to see him after tonight anyway. He looks up, and Felix is already watching him.
"Got to go?" Felix asks, and he nods slowly. "Well, then can I have your number?" He says, reaching for his phone in his pocket, and handing it to Jisung.
Jisung looks at the phone as if it were an alien for a moment, but after looking at Felix's face, he knows he's being for real. He takes the phone, types his number, and checks for any mistakes in it at least eight times. He gives Felix his phone back without saving his number; he's going to let Felix do that.
Felix smiles, typing something on his phone; he gets a notification from his phone; it's a cat emoji, and he just knows it's Felix. He doesn't save it; he will do it at home when he's no longer here, with the person he thinks is the love of his life.
"I'll text you later; do you want me to wait for your friend with you?" Jisung looks at him, and he's already whipped for this man, so he might as well say yes and be a little bit longer with him.
"Yeah, that would be great, thank you." Felix just nods while smiling. After a few seconds of silence he says.
"I told Changbin I would wait for him outside."
"Let's go out then." Felix grabs his hand before he can think much of what he said; there are still some people around, but Felix says hi to a lot of them until they finally make it out of the house. Felix turns to face him. "Text me when you get back home."
"Sure..." He hears someone shouting his name, and then Changbin appears besides him, giving them both a look up and down, seeing their hands still intertwined, but Felix isn't letting go. His face changes and he's smiling playfully.
"Is this your 'something' Sung?"
Jisung looks down, blushing, he looks up again when he hears Felix chuckling. "I prefer being called by my name, but that works" Felix lets go of his hand.
"Bye guys, try to get some sleep when you're back home" He waves and turns back to the crowded house, Jisung watches him go, and when he can't see him he tries to convince himself that what happened in the past 30 minutes was real, Changbin hits his shoulder lightly.
"Man, you really are gone" He puts an arm around his shoulders and walks them to his car. He blinks and shakes himself out of whatever state he was in.
"Bin, you saw him, right" He turns to look at his friend starting the car.
"I did, and you got his number" Changbin smiles.
Jisung lets go of the tension in his body ever since they arrived to the party, and looks out the window once Changbin starts driving. In no time they're in their apartment and he does his night routine, says goodnight to Changbin and puts an alarm; nice, he's only going to sleep two hours, we'll, better than nothing.
He remembers that he told Felix he would text him when he got home, he turns and turns on his bed thinking on what to say, in the end he sends a simple 'We got home safely, good night ❤️' he puts his phone on the bedside table and tries his best to rest, until he finally does.
Thinking of a certain someone, he drifts off to sleep.
