Chapter Text
Natuski was currently inside a closet located in a presently empty classroom. And if Yuri wanted to keep her head, she triple checked the schedule to make sure it would stay empty. Getting caught in such an embarrassing position would be one thing, but this relationship getting out and news of her being gay spreading would actually spell disaster for both of them. But her brain would quickly stop worrying about that as the taller girl in front of her locked lips with her own.
Every time they kissed it somehow felt more intoxicating than the last. Natsuki grabbed the back of her head and pulled her closer. She smelled her perfume and felt her worries slip away. Yuri put her hands over her chest. There was nothing there to grab, but for some reason the purple haired girl like doing that. What she liked even more was using her fingers to rub over her nipples through her clothes. Which is what she did right now. Natsuki started squirming under her as she fell to the floor with her back to the closet wall and Yuri got on all fours to continue her attack.
How the hell did they get here? How did she, specifically get here? In a relationship with a girl and hiding their mildly sexual romps from the entire school? She was especially sad their friends didn't know. After watching Lucas and Sayori be all lovey-dovey, she couldn't wait to have her own special someone and one-up them. And she was sure that they did one-up them. They just weren't aware of it. It was kind of his fault it all started in the first place. Yeah, if he didn't answer her, maybe she'd still be oblivious.
1 month earlier...
Yuri always liked Natuski since she joined the club. She was small, cute and fun to be around. Yuri would've loved to spend more time with her, but it seemed like the girl hated her very existence. She didn't know what she did wrong and instead of asking or trying to smooth things over, whenever Natsuki started yelling at her, Yuri would get defensive. They both said some pretty mean things to each other. Monika, Sayori and now Lucas would always have to intervene. She was sure that it was pointless to try and fix it at this point.
No doubt this day wouldn't be any different. So as she sat at a desk in the club room she looked over at the pink haired girl and saw the sun reflecting off of it. She looked so pretty all the time. Yuri wished she could look like that. She didn't spend too much time glancing over there, lest Natuski catch her and start another argument. So she turned back towards the front just in time for Monika to walk up to her.
"Hey, Yuri? Could you come help me bring some boxes into the club room?" She asked.
"Uh... sure... I don't mind." Yuri agreed.
She got up and followed Monika out of the classroom and into the hallway. She stayed silent for most of the walk over there. She preferred if people addressed her first, rather than the other way around. She liked having conversations, she just wasn't the best at it. Her clubmates, at least seemed to understand that. She appreciated that. They arrived at the room where the boxes where and the club president led her inside. Once there, instead of getting to work, she sat down on a desk with her legs crossed.
"So, what do you think about Lucas and Sayori, super cute, right?" Monika started.
"Monika... did... did you only bring me here to gossip?" Yuri played with her hair.
"No, I do actually need to move a couple boxes, but I also want to gossip." She smiled.
"W-why me?" Yuri asked, shyly.
She didn't like talking about romance. Not only was she too shy to hold a proper conversation about that stuff, but she also had no luck in that department. On top of that, no one knew she was interested in girls.
"Well, I can't talk to Lucas or Sayori about it. For obvious reasons. And then there's Natsuki. I don't think the girl even has a romantical bone in her body. Her first reaction is to shoo you away and yell. So, you're my only friend for this." Monika explained.
Yuri found her bashful attitude to the subject cute if nothing else. She was probably just embarrassed by the topic and possibly never had a boyfriend before. She couldn't figure out why despite everything that happened between them she was unable to find any fault in the girl. Everything about the smaller clubmate just radiated sunshine in her eyes.
"I guess..." She responded quietly.
"So? Super cute, right? I thought they made a great couple as soon as he stepped in the door next to her. And when I heard they were childhood friends? Ahhhhh! Absolutely adorable!" Monika started ranting.
Sure, Yuri thought they were very cute. But they also made her jealous deep inside. Especially since Sayori was not a bad looking girl, by any means. Not that she ever had a chance with her. The girl was as straight as a board. But it was the principle of seeing the relationship. She was happy for them, but some part of her was deeply envious.
"They are very cute... I think they make a great couple." Yuri gave her opinion.
"I know!!!" Monika squealed. "What about you? Anyone got your eye?"
That was a good question. Did she? She couldn't tell her without giving away her secret, but wouldn't help to ponder. As much as she fantasized about romance, she never really gave any thought to if she was interested in anyone aside from looks. There wasn't really. Most of her thoughts were occupied by books and... No! There was no chance anyway, so there was no use digging into why she was always at the forefront of her mind.
"Not really... What about you?" Yuri flipped the question.
"No. Not really interested in that stuff. I just like talking about cute couples being happy. Especially when they're my friends! So hurry up and find someone super adorable too!" Monika tapped her arm as she hopped off the desk. "Now come on! The others are waiting!"
Natsuki was always butting heads with the taller girl. She seemed to get on her nerves no matter what. And deep down she knew what it was. Jealousy. Yuri was perfect. She was super pretty, sexy, she wrote excellent poetry and was so sophisticated. Everything Natsuki wasn't and wished she could be. But she had no idea how to express it properly. Whenever something happened, all she could do was lash out and she hated it. She wanted to compliment the girl on her writing or her looks, but she never could. She hated herself for it.
She could tell Yuri was looking at her right now and it made her feel warm for some reason. Maybe because someone she respected was taking interest in her. But she was sure that she hated her at this point, after all the fighting they'd done, usually initiated by her. Monika took her away for whatever reason and her comforting gaze was gone. It didn't take too long for it to be replaced by Sayori and Lucas coming in to bother her.
"Any idea where our president is?" Lucas asked.
"Humph! Who knows? She left with Yuri a little bit ago." She responded.
"Guess we'll have to wait." Sayori sighed.
"You just don't want to do your duties as vice president!" Lucas punched her shoulder lightly.
"Caught me!" She raised her hands and giggled.
Natsuki was getting really ticked off by the whole display. She knew exactly why too. Jealousy again. She wanted to have someone that loved her like they loved each other. The bigger problem was that instead of just ignoring it or trying to have fun, her innate reaction was to yell at them and tell them to quit it. What was wrong with her?
"Hey, Natsuki? Are you ok?" Sayori asked her, probably noticing something was off.
"Huh? Yeah!" She blew it off.
"Speaking of ok, maybe you could try being nicer to Yuri?" Lucas changed subjects.
She didn't answer. She wanted to, she really did. She wanted to discuss poetry with her and talk about her favorite manga. But it was too late for any of that. She made an enemy out of her like she did with everybody else. It eventually happened everytime. She never let anyone get close without immediately pushing them away.
"If she wasn't so stuck up all the time, maybe I could." Natsuki responded.
"Look, yeah, she said some mean things about your writing on multiple occasions. And your writing is fine. Monika told you that already and you know I like it a lot. But it's always you instigating it. She shouldn't be using personal attacks, but you are too. I think you two just need to talk and work it all out." Sayori reasoned with her.
Natsuki looked out the window and sighed internally. She was about to explode again. She had no idea how to respond to this. So her gut reaction was to scream and deflect. She tried dissociating from the situation to calm down and not go off on them. Thankfully, she was saved by Yuri and Monika walking back into the room with some boxes.
Natsuki watched as they placed the boxes down. As Yuri straightened after placing the boxes down, her boobs shifted in their cloth prison. For some reason, she fixated on that. Actually, she knew the exact reason. She was jealous. If she had them, maybe she would finally find her prince. She was perfection in girl form, but she was too shy and focused on her books to properly use it. And that pissed her off again.
Thankfully, Monika started the club meeting and got her thoughts off of it. Off the anger at least. She kept looking at Yuri all thought for no discernable reason. She also caught the girl looking at her on multiple occasions too. It made her heart ache for some reason. Why was she so jealous of her? And why couldn't she talk to her like a normal person? What kept drawing her attention to the tall purple haired girl in the first place? It didn't make any sense.
