✦➳ Instead of being send to banland, they were locked away. Isolated from many... 1x1x1x1 on how many years had passed. They thought they never see a living being until their death.

✧➳ Meanwhile a young reckless hacker sneaked into Roblox HQ while it's under moderation and coincidentally found them.

Chapter 1

They remembered being so little—witnessing light after a long darkness, and being held carefully. The hands were so gentle, so loving... so fake.

 

 

 

1x1x1x1— that is their name. Such a strange name... Yet some called them simply 1x. It had been so long since Telamon, their father and creator, last visited.

 

They no longer knew how long they had been trapped in this cage, locked away and isolated from the other Robloxians. Telamon had made them out of his hatred. All they were supposed to feel was hate. Hate. Hate.

 

They hated their creator, yet they still wanted him to look at them. For someone—anyone—to notice them. 1x curled up inside the cage, scratching their skin with their nails. They hated themselves for being so pathetic. There was nothing else to do.

 

They were supposed to be banished to Banland, but thanks to their creator’s “mercy,” they had only been locked away here in the darkness, alone. Their wings were filthy—1x had long since given up on preening them.

 

They hated it here.

Meanwhile, a young hacker had successfully snuck into Roblox HQ. Since moderation was active, 007n7 took advantage of the moment to steal some files and codes.

 

He managed to gather everything he needed and saved it all into his c00lgui. Suddenly, footsteps echoed nearby, and 007n7 panicked.

 

He accidentally kicked over a potted plant, shattering it in the process. “Crap—” he muttered. Then his foot landed on something strange... a teleportation point?

 

“Who’s there?” An employee hurried over to check the noise, but found nothing except the broken pot. “Oh shucks, must’ve been Gubby again.”

Back with 007n7, he had been teleported to a dark room. “Ouch...” he groaned, rubbing his neck. He wasn’t prepared to be transported so suddenly.

“Is this... an experience or something?” he mumbled, pulling out his c00lgui to summon a flashlight. The light flickered weakly.

 

 

To his surprise, the room was lined with chains, and in the center stood a cage. Being the gullible young hacker he was, 007n7 decided to take a closer look. Inside the cage lay an odd-looking bird. The floor was stained with dried blood.

Concerned, 007n7 bent down to see if the bird was alive. But as he reached inside, he yelped—the bird suddenly grabbed his arm.

 

 

“Ah— a hybrid?!” 007n7 gasped. Their face was hidden beneath silky white hair, but their hands felt rough. The creature he thought was a bird sniffed at his arm. “Uh...?”

 

“You’re real,” they murmured. “You are real...”

“Y-yeah, I am...” the young hacker replied nervously. “Why are you in this cage? Where are we?”

 

“In the depths of the God’s house...” they whispered. What they meant was that they were deep beneath Roblox HQ. “Telamon locked me away...”

 

“Telamon? The deceased God?” 007n7 muttered, but loud enough for 1x to hear.

 

Deceased? That shocked 1x.

 

“Why would a God lock away a hybrid like you...? I mean, sure, some hybrids don’t have the best reputation, but they’re still Robloxians...” 007n7 began to mumble to himself.

 

1x’s eyes fell in defeat. So their creator was gone, huh? All those years longing to see him—it was all useless now. Their face grew wet, though they didn’t understand this awful feeling.

 

“Oh—uh.” 007n7 was startled by the hybrid’s sobbing. “Uh... sorry to break that news to you this way...” He tried to pull his arm away, but 1x’s grip was too tight. With a sigh, he sat down, awkwardly letting the strange bird-like being cry against his arm.

 

He opened his c00lgui to pass the time, leaving his arm there as a shoulder to cry on.

After a while, his c00lgui warned him that moderation was about to end. He couldn’t stay near HQ any longer.

 

“Hey, it’s been great getting to know you, but I have to go now.” 007n7 huffed, tugging at his arm, but it was no use. “Dude, I’m serious! I’ll get caught—”

 

“Get me out.” Their nails dug into his arm. “Get. Me. Out.”

“Ouch—argh, stop that!” 007n7 hissed in pain. The moderation would end in 10 seconds. Shit—

 

 

He immediately opened another c00lgui, preparing for teleportation. “Hold on to me—and don’t dig your nails in again, or I’ll leave you.” he warned.

 

 

1x obeyed, gripping both of his arms instead. As the teleportation completed, they both fell onto soft grass. The sunlight hurt their eyes—it had been so long. 1x blinked around at Robloxia. Everything looked so different.

007n7 noticed their distraction, giving him a chance to finally study them properly. Why were they naked? And why were their ribs... transparent? He blinked several times, convinced his eyes were tricking him.

 

What a strange kind of hybrid, he thought. He had never seen one with a transparent body before, though Noli had once mentioned such things in myths.

 

“Dude, you’re naked... Were you naked in that cage the whole time?” 007n7 frowned, starting to wonder if Telamon had been hiding something twisted.

“... Clothes outgrew,” 1x mumbled. A ripped shirt was tied around their left arm—it looked like it had once belonged to a toddler.

As much as 007n7 wanted to ditch the strange hybrid he had found, his conscience wouldn’t allow it. He took off his jacket and draped it over 1x. “Come on, my house isn’t far. My older cousin will help.”

 

“Can’t you teleport again?” 1x asked quietly.

“No. My cousin will kill me if he finds out I’ve been hacking.”

 

“... I forgot how to walk.”

“... ... I’m getting more concerned.”

Shedletsky was strolling around Roblox HQ. He had quit, yes, but he still visited at Builderman’s request. 2x2 hadn’t come with him this time—he had gone fishing.

Shedletsky was greeted warmly by many before making his way to Builderman’s office. “Hello, dearest CEO. How are you doing?”

 

“Drop the formality, unless you picked that up from the dramas you binged with Brighteyes.” Builderman’s smile didn’t falter.

“Come on, those dramas are awesome!” Shedletsky laughed. “Anyway, what’s the news today?”

 

“Nothing much, just some moderation. You were late—I was planning to ask you to guard HQ, but then again, our security is solid, so nobody broke in.” Builderman said this, even though he was very, very, very wrong. “Are you planning to visit... that thing yet?”

 

“You already know the answer.” Shedletsky huffed. “Please... don’t associate me with that thing anymore. Ripping hatred out of me was enough. I don’t need to know what it’s doing.”

 

“If you say so.” Builderman shrugged. He respected Shedletsky’s wishes. Still, he thought it would have been safer to just banish 1x to Banland. But this worked too. After all, it had been years since they were locked away...

 

Chapter 2

Summary:

First day of 1x staying with 007n7 and his older cousin 007e7!

007e7 raised an eyebrow at his younger cousin before eyeing at 1x who is sitting on their couch watching the cartoon after they took a bath. 007n7 gave 1x his clothes though 1x figure is rather small and fragile. 

 

"Where did you pick them up...?" 007e7 or E7 to avoid confusion for readers asked his younger cousin.

"... On street." 007n7 lied, "They were naked! You saw their appearance... I couldn't just leave them like that." He smile nervously, slightly scratching the bandage that was applied.

 

"Right..." E7 sighed, "We have to call the police."

 

"N-NO!" The young hacker accidentally raised his voice, he can't let his cousin find out that he has been hacking and found 1x in the Roblox HQ underground. His older cousin is getting suspicious so 007n7 quickly came up with an excuse. "They were... abused! Yeah— I found them on the street begging for help. We can't call the police because their parents are one so—" 

 

"Stop..." E7 sighed before patting his younger cousin shoulder, "I understand... It was nice of you. Still that doesn't explain why your arm was bleeding."

 

"... A wild animal attacked us on the way. You saw their arms too, yeah..." 007n7 lied once again, thankfully there are too many scars on 1x body that was inflicted by themselves. 

 

"Alright alright." E7 dropped the topic off, "They're sleeping in your room so prepare a space for them." 

 

"Can't they sleep on the couch?" 

 

"That's not how you treat guests. How many time I have to tell you?" 

 

"Right right..."

1x sat on the floor while watching 007n7 preparing something. They had certain feeling while watching an animated series that they called cartoon. It wasn't bad... Remind them of their childhood where Jane would put up a children's show for them and their daughter when Telamon was not around.

 

1x crawled to extra blanket before rolling in it. How soft.

 

"Well good to know you're comfortable, come on. Lay here." 007n7 didn't wait and rolled 1x towards the sleeping area he made for them. 

 

It was an awkward silence. 007n7 sat on his bed, he was about to close the light but was stopped by 1x. "Don't. Dark no more..."

 

"Okay okay! Don't leave scars on my arms again-" he leave the night light alone. "Light still on... See...?"

"..." 1x slowly let go of the young hacker's arm. 

 

"It feels like I took in a feral cat." He mumbles, "Hey, I still haven't get your name. I'm 007n7 and my cousin is 007e7."

 

"... ... Name... One.. X... Yeah..." 1x didn't get a chance to say their full name as 007n7 suddenly interrupts them.

"1x? Wow if your name get more 1x, you're going to have a similar name to 1x1x1x1x virus!" 007n7 laughed. 

 

"Virus...-?" 1x squinted their eyes before raising their eyebrows. 

 

"Yeah! Well it's a myth though." 007n7 claimed, "Hey since I kinda found you at Roblox HQ... Can you not tell my cousin anything about this?" He glanced at 1x, "Since what I did is a crime. If you tell anyone, that means the admins will find you and take you back there."

 

1x tensed up a bit. They don't want to go back to that dark place. They nodded, "Miss Doe where...?"

 

"Doe..? Doe what-"

 

"... Nothing."

 

"Hmm okay then." 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the morning, 007n7 woke up, realizing 1x is missing. Oh no, did they ran out—? 007n7 rushed himself and almost fell from the stairs. He was about to heads out until he saw a white hair sticking out from the kitchen. 

 

 

"Boy where are you going?" E7 emerged from the kitchen, "This young fella you brought is very nice to help me with preparing breakfast and you're planning to skip?"

 

"Haha, no wait you misunderstood!" 007n7 chuckles nervously, "I'll eat .."

 

"Good." E7 smiles, "1x you can go ahead and sit. Thanks for the help!" 

 

1x came out from the kitchen, their hair is no longer covering their face. It seems like E7 gave them a cane to support their balanced too. They already sat down on their prepared seat while 007n7 trying to stop being too suspicious. He sighed before sitting down the opposite side of them. 

 

"Did you cut your hair?" He whispered, he want to laugh at the silly piggy tails.

"Cousin cut it for me and tied it up." They muttered, "I like."

 

"Good to know." 007n7 shrugged before smiling at E7 serving the breakfast on the table. "Thanks for the meal!"

 

"... Thanks for the meal." 1x mimicked 007n7, they look at the bacons they grilled and the toasts. 1x don't remember having this before, Telamon used to fed them anything he found on his way home. While brighteyes were too busy, they don't never wanted to bother her with any of this. 

 

 

One bite, it feels weird. Second bite, they could get use of it. Third bite, they feel sick on their stomach before throwing up. 

 

 

"Oh my Roblox..." E7 gasped, "N7, bring them to the bathroom please? I'll clean this up."

 

"Okay.." 007n7 sighed before carefully supporting 1x to the bathroom. "Why did you threw up?"

"Not used to eating." They mumbles, "it have been so long..-"

 

"So nobody ever feed you while you're in that cage..? Nah this is animal abused." 007n7 sighed, he began to consider calling for animal protection instead of police... 

 

 

They arrived at the bathroom and 007n7 filled the bathtub with clean water. He glanced at 1x, hoping they won't splash the water at him like yesterday. 

 

Thankfully they seems too exhausted to do so.

 

 

"Look, I have part time job and my cousin of course works too. So you gotta stay home and don't do anything." He said, "You can watch TV and uh basically that..." 

 

"I don't want to be alone."

 

"You won't. The TV will keep your company." 007n7 sighed once again before leaving the bathroom, "I have to go now. See you later!" 

 

1x didn't get a chance to reach out for the young hacker, the bathtub was slippery so they're being careful. They'll be safe here... Nobody will bring them back...

007n7 is working at a burger place, he's a cashier for today. He rather lift things up than talking to people. 

 

"May I take your order?" He asked, not lifting his head up. 

"I liked to order 007n7?" The young hacker blinked before looking up, he slightly smile after realizing it was Noli. "Hey, when are you going to finish your shift? We have to apply for college today."

 

"Oh! Right—" 007n7 glanced at his watch, "I finish at four."

 

"I'll wait then." Noli smiles before looking at the menu, "I'll take set A."

"Set A, coming right up! That'll be 10 robux." 

 

 

 

 

---

 

 

 

 

1x lay on the floor as they're watching a cartoon. It's funny because the milk is spilled and some noobs slipped. 

They didn't know what time is it now, nobody teach them how to look at clock. Their name, it's a number right? 

 

one... "One.. zero .. seven..." They mumbles, they can do this. They can learn right now, yes- they're not locked anymore. 1x look at the watch hanging on the wall, they can't see that well. 

 

"Fly.." the first thing 1x try to do is flapping their wings. It have been so long but their wings are clean again. "..." They can do this, nobody is there to hold them down...

"Alright we're done with our college application." 007n7 stretch, "Seems like we're too early."

"Better early than late. Some students submitted last minute and couldn't get in." Said the hooded one, fixing their mask. "By the way, did you get.. the y'know."

 

"Ohoho... A lot." 007n7 smirks, "let's go to my house. My cousin said he'll be home late anyway."

 

 

 007n7 thought of telling Noli about 1x but he'll explain it once Noli see them. 

 

 

 

 

 

They arrived in front of 007n7 home. As he unlock the door, he saw scattered feathers. "What...?" 

 

"Woah, did you get a pet bird?" Noli was behind him but still can clearly see. 

"Not exactly.." as 007n7 stepped in, he suddenly feel a heavyweight fell on top of him. 1x ... Holding a clock. "Ouch..." The young hacker fainted right there. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A little while later, 007n7 woke up. Finding 1x in the corner while Noli is scolding them. "Ergh..." He groaned before lifting his head, "Noli don't raise your voice at the bird..."

 

"Seven you're up!" Noli sighed out of relief, glaring at 1x one last time before walking away from them. "You were gone for 10 minutes so I cleaned up the living room and discipline your pet bird while at it. You welcome."

 

"Ah..." 007n7 was about to look at 1x yet Noli keep on blocking his view. 

"Come on, let's discuss. We can't wait any further." Noli dragged 007n7 and went upstairs, leaving 1x alone at the corner. 

 

The sad one watched them walked away before huffing, "stupid robloxians..." They mumbles under their breath, clenching their fist. 

 

Being scolded brought bad memories. Telamon used to get mad at them for flying and leave mess everywhere. It was a mistake, they were a mistake he made. 1x look at the clock, tears wetting their face as they slowly cover their body with their wings. 

 

"ₕₑ'ₛ ₙₒₜ ₕₑᵣₑ... ₕₑ'ₛ ₙₒₜ ₕₑᵣₑ... ₕₑ'ₛ gₒₙₑ." 1x repeated whatever to make them feel safe.

"so where did you pick up that wild animal?" Noli tilted his head. 

"They're not a wild animal. They're a hybrid I found, was in a cage so I got them out." 007n7 sighed, "You read things about this, how come you didn't recognize their species?" 

 

"That's not a hybrid." Noli smile faltered under his mask, "I know what hybrids look like."

"Well maybe it's a different kind of hybrid that you never see. You can take a look of them—"

 

"I rather not. I am here to see what you achieved." Noli will put checking on the new thing 007n7 picked up in his list. There's so many things 007n7 take home from outside, like that spider noob on his head.

"Alright..." 007n7 decided not to press any further, he totally forgot to mention that he found 1x in the underground of Roblox HQ . "So..." 

 

 

... ...

 

 

Hours passed, Noli had to leave before E7 gets home. 

"Thanks for the code, we are going to have so much fun soon!" Noli wave a goodbye.

 

"Yeah yeah." 007n7 huffed before closing the door, he glanced around and finds 1x still in the corner.

 

"... Uh hey, you're hungry?" There were no response from them so 007n7 gets closer and kneel over, offering his arm. "You want my arm..?"

 

The wings moved slightly, their red eyes are clear. It seems like they were crying too which 007n7 feels guilty for not checking on them sooner. Their hand slowly reached for his arm, pulling it closer. 

 

"I am sorry about earlier." 1x flinched at the word of sorry, did someone just apologized? 

 

Shouldn't they be the one who apologizing? They made a mess, they made mistakes and they didn't put their head down on dirty floor despite not being asked... 

 

They stares as the young robloxian, he is muttering things to make up for them. Telamon never say that. Brighteyes did but she always broke her promise. 

 

Miss Jane and Mister John were too busy but when they did, Telamon berated 1x for being spoiled. 

 

 

"... Want to... learn." Their voice are weak but it was clear for 007n7 to understand. 

"I'll help! I already graduated from highschool a while ago and applied for college. I'm pretty smart y'know?" 007n7 smiles nervously, "What do you want to learn? Science, art, culinary uh- oh math? I like maths. History are boring though." 

 

1x eyes light up at 007n7 enthusiasm. They never heard any of this things. All they know are swordsmanship. 

 

"Don't know... How to look at watch." 1x pointed out at the watch they took off from the wall. 

"Oh." 007n7 understood quickly, after all that cage has nothing but chains. "Don't worry, I don't know how to look at clock until I was 9. Some people still don't know at all so you don't have to be embarrassed wanting to learn." He reassured them. "Just let's go to the kitchen? The light there works better."

 

"... Okay." 1x clutched on 007n7 arm tightly. Letting the young hacker support them.  

 

The young hacker talks a lot better than yesterday, 1x actually hearing such voice after so long. His mentor hate teaching them but 007n7 praised them on a simple achievement.

 

It's nice. 

 

E7 came home with dinners. 1x was served porridge since E7 thought they can't handle heavy food. 1x was skeptical at the odd pasted rice but eats it anyway.

 

It was... Bearable. Quite nice. 

 

The two cousins talk about their day to each other. 1x remember this scene with John and Jane Doe while staying at their house for dinner. Those two were so sweet.

 

They wants to find the husband and wife again... Soon or later, they just want to know how they're doing...

 

 

 

"So how was your day, X?" E7 sudden question startled 1x.

"Huh..! Uhm.. learnt.. numbers. Watched cartoons..." 

 

"Oh did my baby cousin taught you?" A chuckles from the older one isn't mocking them. "What cartoon did you watch?"

"Uhm... ..." 1x got nervous. Nevertheless, they explained the story about and was shared laughter. They're not judging 1x for being childish... In fact E7 even tell an embarrassing story from when 007n7 was young.

 

They are smiling, a little but it's a smile. 

 

 

It's nice.

Chapter 3

Summary:

So someone applied for college and it went well 👍

Notes:

I forgot to explain that 1x may made out of hatred but they weren't send to banland so their hatred kinda locked away too.

It's still there but- like their power is sealed away.

1x tries to walk without the cane. They only last for fifteen minute before falling over. At least they're going much better than the last time. 

 

1x glanced at 007n7 who is currently studying. He said it's for the exams entrance. College is where robloxians go and university is for the smart robloxians that wanted to be an admin. 

 

They stood up and slumped over 007n7 shoulders. "Bored."

"Sorry 1x, I can't teach you anything for now. I'm a bit busy." 007n7 huffed, "Why don't you play with the spider noob?" He said as he take off the spider noob from his head, letting it landed on 1x shoulder. 

 

1x slightly raised an eyebrow at the tiny creature before laying on the floor again. The spider seems to entertain 1x so 007n7 went back on studying.

 

Meanwhile now 007n7 is too focused on studying, the spider lead 1x downstairs before opening the door to the outside. Spider strength are something else.

 

The spider lended 1x their cane before crawling to their head. It seems like it's instructing for 1x to go outside after staying in the house for almost a month.

 

"Where are we going?" They asked the spider noob. It pointed at the park, 1x couldn't see properly yet they still can hear. "There are so many people..." They were hesitating but the spider noob reassured them that they'll be just fine. 

 

Entering the park, they were greeted by many noises. Children's laughter, adults talking and pigeons. 1x stare at one pigeon, they remembered drawing a pigeon before. 

1x keeps on walking before deciding to rest against a tree. Walking is tiring but fun. The spider jumped down from their head, it left for couple of seconds and bring a flower. 

 

It keep on repeating until they are many flowers surround 1x. There's a red flower, 1x like it because how it resemble their eyes. 

 

"I like this one." 

 

The spider noob nodded before taking the flowers and began to form a wreath. Some children began to approach 1x as they are mesmerized by their white hair. 

The children weren't afraid of them at all which surprised 1x. 

1x rather don't know what to do as more of the children kept on coming and began to braiding their hair. Spider noob decided to stay on top of their head because a little girl sat down on 1x lap, painting their nails.

 

 

"Who's that hybrid?" A parent asked.

"I don't know but she is very gentle with the children so I'm not complaining." 

 

"Doesn't she resembles 2x2? Except she has a white hair instead of grey."

"She kinda does... Eh, it probably just a coincidence. As long we get free babysitter lol."

 

"Yeah lol!"

Meanwhile with 007n7, he decided to take a break from studying. Three hour had passes, he look around for the sight of 1x and his spider. 

The house is awfully quiet. 

 

 

Oh no—

 

 

He ran downstairs, realizing the door was left open. "They probably won't be too far..." He huffed before grabbing his jacket and put on his shoes. 

He's not worried. Builderman still hasn't noticed the fact someone stole codes from the HQ, so there's no way an admin will roaming around.

 

He traced their track with the c00lgui which lead him to a park. They are so many people, ew people. 

 

As 007n7 enters the park, he wasted no time and began to look for the bird. Thankfully because of children are swarming certain person with white hair. He went over them and find 1x got makeup over by the gremlins. 

His spider on the other hand, as soon as it noticed him. It immediately jumped back to his head.

 

"Why didn't you say you're heading out..." 007n7 sighed, slightly nudging over the children and pick 1x up. 

"Bored." 1x shrugged, "Do I look dainty?"

 

"...???" 007n7 raised an eyebrow, glancing at the little girls giggling. It seems like they're the one who taught 1x that word. "You do if you at least wear shoes and proper clothes instead of white T-shirt and shorts."  

 

"Don't have those..."

 

"..."

"Why are we buying dress?" Noli raised an eyebrow, he cleared his schedule because his best friend suddenly ask for help. 

Noli thought they were going to exploit but no, they're just buying clothes in woman's section.

 

"1x doesn't have a lot of clothes so I'm buying them some." He claimed, "You somehow have decent taste in clothes so I need your help."

 

"That thing again?" 

"They're not a thing. Their name is 1x." 007n7 corrected him. "Look, if you don't want to help. I'll do this myself."

 

Noli eyes twitched, it's always 1x this 1x that. They barely exploiting this month because 007n7 excuse was he's too busy helping 1x. "Fine." Noli sighed before looking through the clothes. "Red suit them, yes? They have red eyes."

 

"Oh, definitely." 007n7 took the dress from Noli's hand and put it on the cart. "I'm thinking getting them a pair of slippers too... Oh maybe...!"

 

Well he got attached once again. Noli thought to himself, it's not a surprise as 007n7 easily get attached to anything he found. Doesn't matter if it's an object or living being, the young hacker will never think twice after taking them in. 

 

That's the same case as Noli. He was curious of 007n7 and now it develop into a friendship.

 

 

Now Noli just hope 007n7 don't take a baby in one day. 

 

 

"Say, where exactly did you find this... 1x." Noli asked, walking next to his best friend as they're looking for a scarf since autumn is approaching. 

"I found them in a cage that were hidden on the underground of the Roblox HQ." 007n7 replied so bluntly, Noli laughed thinking his best friend is joking but he was only met with a serious look.

 

"Oh sh- what the hell, you were serious?" 

 

"Yes...?" 007n7 nodded, "There were a hidden teleportation point and it lead me there. I arrived in a dark room that full of chains and a cage in the center of the room."

"So let me get this straight... You found a suspicious cage and 1x was inside it. Then your first thought is to free them...?"

 

"Well I wasn't planning that but there were digging their nails on my arm so—"

"WHAT." 

 

 

It took Noli a moment to calm down. 007n7 already pay for the items while at it. The two of them got ice cream too.

"They couldn't even walk properly nor fly. How's that dangerous?" 007n7 frowns. "They said they were locked away by Telamon. Telamon have been dead for years now..."

"How old is that hybrid you brought in..." Noli asked once again. "Don't tell me you never ask...-"

1x feels like someone is talking behind their back. They rolled over from the couch, laying on the floor. "Where is N?" They wonders if 007n7 is mad about yesterday since they went out without saying anything.

"My baby cousin is out with his best friend." E7 replied, taking the remote. "Hey I'm going to watch news, okay?"

 

"Ok." 1x nodded, they really hate Noli for scolding them. 007n7 told 1x that Noli shouldn't have done that.

 

 

He's right because Noli is not Telamon. 1x need to remember that, they can't be scared. Telamon isn't here...

 They move their head to watch the so called news, there is a reporter talking about events happening. Woah, 1x never thought there's other entertainment than cartoons.

 

"Are you interested, X?" E7 chuckles, "If only N7 is interested like you but man. That boy is in his own world." 

 

The news are telling about some trending experiences. One of them is natural disaster. Another one showing news about college will be adding swordsmanship again as a course.

 

"Ah!" 1x eyes lit up. "College, want to go there." 

"Oh." E7 thought about it for a moment, he wonders why they're adding that course again but again. Maybe because some robloxians need to learn self defense against hackers. 

 

Beside 1x can't live here forever due to tight money. E7 doesn't want to kick 1x out from the house but now college is another chance for 1x to get a proper education. "Alright, I'll sign you up for it today. Let's go." There will be free dorm and lunch for students so that's a bonus. 

 

1x was too focused on imagining how college would go, they didn't even noticed who will be teaching. 

 

 

Reporter: "this subject was brought back thanks to our administration, Mr Doombringer who believe everyone should learn how to fight."

"So you'll be taking an exam to join this course." The lady explain while stamping information about 1x. "Oh, you didn't put up your age. How old are you?"

 

"Four." 1x didn't think much of it. 

 

"Four?" The lady chuckles, "You're such a jokester. I guess that's on me for asking the obvious stuff. You're seventeen, right? The age range to enter college is sixteen to twenty."

 

I don't know— 1x doesn't know their current age. "... Yeah."

 

"Thought so. You're quite small I almost mistaken you for a fifteen years old if it wasn't for your voice." The lady wrote down the age she assumed 1x is. "Don't worry, if you pass this exam. Your physical will definitely get better." 

 

She's not judging them which 1x is relief, they do want to get stronger. The application processed nicely, the lady gave 1x the exam date and what they should prepare. E7 was sitting outside the office and when he saw 1x came out from the office. He has a smile plastered on his face. 

 

"Did it go well?"

"She gave me the date."

 

"Great!" E7 patted 1x shoulder, "If you get full scholarship, you don't have to pay for anything. It's like uh the government pays for you? So like in return you works for them."

 

"So slavery?" They raised an eyebrow, not impressed. "How great." 

 

"Yeah, it'll be like that..." E7 sighed, "Well at least the payment is worth it."

 

"Did you get full scholarship then?"

 

"Oh yeah, I did." E7 slightly chuckles, "Now I'm working for some admins, helping them taking out bots."

"Cool."

 

 

The two of them head out from the building, the sun is setting down which mean evening is approaching. 

 

 

"Careful now, you might get blind from staring at the sun for too long." 

"I like the sun."

 

"I could guess because you like sunbathing." E7 laughed, "Ah right. Let's go home before my cousin decided to trash the house. He used to be a hacker and cause a black hole but now he's mature!"

 

"... ... I see..." 1x didn't make a reaction but deep down they're quite surprised that 007n7 didn't change his way. Well it's not their business, they already promised him to never tell E7.

007n7 placed the shopping bags at 1x space. He totally not embarrassed to give this face to face. He was lucky enough because his older cousin and 1x isn't here which mean they went out for whatever reason. 

 

 

"What are you doing." He takes it back, he is unlucky. 1x perked from 007n7 shoulder, slowly crouched down to look over at the bags. 

007n7 look away from the position 1x made. "... Yesterday you said you don't have clothes so I uh... Bought some for you." 

 

 

"The back is revealing." They mumbles. 

"Because of your wings. So next time we don't have to poke two hole on the T-shirt." He said, "There's a section for hybrids only so it's pretty good. I'll bring you there next time."

 

"... Thanks." 1x didn't smile but they're happy, so much being made out of hatred. Having another emotion is nice... 

 

"You welcome." He smiles, relief that 1x seems to like it. "Oh where did you and my cousin went earlier?"

 

"I applied for college." 

 

"You did what now."

 

"I applied for college? You should go to hospital if you can't hear properly ..." 1x squinted their eyes. "Do I need to call for E..."

 

"NoNo- wait don't sorry I was surprised." 007n7 shook his head, "So you applied for college? How? You don't have birth certificate or highschool records!"

 

"The lady said no need because they only want people to join." 1x shrugged it off.

 

"But what about first and last name?"

 

"One, X." 

 

"Health issues?"

 

"Show her my ribcage and it perfectly fine." 

 

"Disability?"

 

"Said as long I can hold sword, I can crawl to battlefield."

 

"Sword? Did you take swordsmanship? That explain why the lady was so nonchalant..." 007n7 muttered before realizing he still hasn't ask their age. "How about your age?"

 

"She said I look seventeen." 

 

"... But how old are you exactly?" 

 

"Four."

 

"Four..? Well who said you were four?" 

 

"Miss Jane said four... A while ago..."

 

"So you were four when this 'Jane' told you... Then after that, how long has it been since you see her?" 

 

"... ..." 1x couldn't remember that part. The look of their face is unbearable so 007n7 decided not to press the case any further until 1x remember.

 

"... Okay, I'll assume you're seventeen for now." 007n7 sighed, "but hey- if you're really seventeen, we're the same age so it chill." 

 

"Chill... Ok." 1x nodded. 

 

"Well... I guess I should tell Noli you are seventeen. That silly man, he thought you're not a hybrid but I guess I am a smart one after all!" 007n7 laughed, 

"Stupid Noli." 1x grumbled. "You're not stupid but gullible sometimes."

 

"Thanks...?" 007n7 decided to take that as a compliment, their stomach is growling probably because of long day. "Come on let's go eat dinner."

Doombringer look at how many students applied for the course. Unfortunately not many but it's enough. His eyes now interested on a certain individual named 1x. 

 

"... Funny name! Wow parents these day." Doombringer laughed it off before looking at the picture, it couldn't be 1x1x1x1x right? That fallen bird was long gone because of the prophecy. 

 

Doombringer sighed, he can't quite remember how they looked like. Perhaps he might give a visit if allowed.

"No." 1x gripped on their wooden sword, satisfied with what they got. "I am strong." 

 

"You fell from the stairs a week ago." 

 

"... I am half strong." 

 

"Alright." He sighed before looking at his watch, "Ah, I'm late for work now!" E7 hugged 1x, "Do your best! Even if you don't get full scholarship don't worry. I'll find another extra job to support you." 

"Thanks.." they return the hug, it's comforting. "Be careful at work." E7 smiles at 1x before letting go of the hug. 

 

E7 left the training ground through the teleportation point. 1x sighed before turning back, realizing Noli and 007n7 were behind them.

 

"Woah Mr. E7 adopted you or something?" Noli laughed, "relax birdie, no need to glare at me."

 

007n7 sighed, he fixed his glasses before looking at 1x. "Well we just finished our entrance exam so I thought why not cheer for you?" 

"How was the exam?" 1x purposely pushed Noli aside to stand next to 007n7. 

 

Noli scoffed, "it went very well." He answered it instead of 007n7 before pulling 1x hair. "Mind you I was with him all the time." Noli put his arms around 007n7. He's wearing a mask but 1x can tell he's smiling smugly under it.

 

"Noli stop that." 007n7 shoved his friend before went over 1x to fix their hair. "Jeez, why can't you two get along???"

 

"He's stupid." 

"They're ugly."

 

007n7 could feel the tension so he decided to just take 1x and walk away from Noli. 

Noli scowled at the betrayal but he didn't left, he just sat at the audience along with others that seems to be parents and friends of the participants. 

 

 

 

The two of them arrived at a room where all the participants are waiting. "Huh some of them don't use normal sword..."  

 

"Is that a bad thing?" 1x tilted their head, confused. 

 

 

1x is too used using a wooden sword against Telamon who were using darkheart or sometime firebrand sword. 007n7 has a rather worried expression which 1x guessed it's really not a good thing.

 

"It is a bad thing. Look at your opponent, all of them have branded and expensive swords while you..." 007n7 sighed, he is thinking on using his c00lgui to get a decent weapon for 1x but it's too risky due to the fact an admin will be the judge. "I hope the admin won't think you're weird..."

 

"Wait what admin?"

 

"Oh, y'know. Mr Doombringer. He's the supposedly teacher." 

 

"... ... Oh ####." 1x could never forget that name. That's one of Telamon close companion. 

 

They don't hold much opinion on the bringer due to the admin himself ignored 1x all those years but hearing his name again cause friction of panic. The sword on their hands are trembling, what is this feeling?

 

No Doombringer is not going to remember 1x, probably. Nobody ever visit 1x except for—

 

 

"HEY!" 

 

 

They snapped back to reality as a cold hand sent shiver through their skin. 1x blinked once then twice, their red eyes locked to cyan eyes. He has a blonde hair and odd looking crown.

 

"You good there? Your friend were worried because you won't respond to him." The man pulled away his frozen hand from 1x arm. 

 

1x then glanced at 007n7 who seems to calm down now. 

 

"sorry." They don't know what they're apologizing for but they don't want to see 007n7 smile disappear because of them. 

"Don't be sorry." 007n7 was firm, "Do you need something? I'll bring it to you..."

 

 

"... A mask." 1x remembers Noli use mask to hide his face so they thought why not do the same. 

 

"Oh we have plenty of them on that box." The blonde butted in while pointing at box. "Why the mask? Do you have stage fright or something?" The blonde laughed.

 

 

007n7 and 1x look at each other. It seems like both of them agree why this guy in front of them is weird. The duo ignored the man and went over the box. 

 

There's different kind of masks. "you choose." 1x instructed 007n7.

 

"Uh... How about this one?" 007n7 picked a white mask. 

 

1x doesn't have much opinion on it but agreed anyway. 007n7 stand in front of 1x, their eyes met each other. Even not looking at the young hacker lips, 1x can see relief in his eyes. Happy.

 

Happy for who? They wondered.

 

 

1x got too distracted by their own thoughts, not realizing 007n7 is putting the mask on them. 

 

All they could focus on is 007n7 deep blue eyes. Back then when they first met, 1x swear his pupil was red. Perhaps because of the c00lgui...

 

"All better!" His voice startled 1x, oh he put on the mask already.

 

 

 

"..." 1x slowly nodded, keeping a grip on the wooden sword. 

 

 

They heard a voice announcing the tournament will start soon. 

 

 

"Oh, that's my cue to be the audience and leave." 007n7 smile nervously, he looks around before embracing 1x to a hug. "Oh dang, I'm the one that feeling nervous for you..."

 

"Don't be a weirdo." 1x hold back their smile, pushing 007n7 away. "I'll get the first place and that scholarship. Then I'll steal people's weapons."

007n7 went to find Noli sitting all by himself with a bucket of popcorn. He went and sat beside his friend, grabbing handful of popcorns.

 

"Where did you have time to buy this?"

"The mascot." Noli pointed at the weird looking mascot. 

 

"Why... There's a mascot..? Isn't this supposed to be an exam... Uh tournament?" 007n7 wonders. 

"People want to make money I guess." Noli replied, noticing a feather on 007n7 clothes. Ugh, he hugged that thing? 

 

Noli's hand suddenly went to 007n7 waist, he got rid of the feather then pulled 007n7 closer. He rested his cheek on 007n7 shoulder.

 

"Uh... Noli?"

 

"I'm a bit tired... Need a shoulder to lean on." He lied, he just want 007n7 to have his scent instead of 1x. "Why don't we go to natural disasters and cause some troubles... I missed our time together." He whispered.

 

It's tempting but 007n7 worried for 1x. Before he can say anything, Noli interrupted. "You keep hanging out around that bird. It feels like I am not precious to you."

 

"Argh..." 007n7 huffed, "okay okay. Jeez dude, you are that bored?" 

 

I guess I should go with Noli. 1x should be fine... 007n7 thought to himself, at least E7 will be home. 

Noli smiles, satisfied with the answer. Now he can enjoy this silly tournament because he wants to see how far 1x be able to go with those wooden sword they carved by themself.

 

 

Announcer: Round one! Ittrapped and—

 

 

007n7 eyes widened, it was the same man who helped 1x to calm down. "Itrapped...?" 

"You know that guy?" Noli raised an eyebrow. 

 

"Oh- not at all. It's just because they're a common noob. I am surprised to find one of their kind in here." 

"Make sense. It's rare to see their kind attend college or university because they're known as party type." Noli smirk, waiting to see how this goes.

 

 

 

 

 

Itrapped grin as he see how weak his opponent. Eyes watching him because he's a common noob. How irritating, he wants to show everyone that he's not common... He is special. 

 

It only take 5 seconds and his opponent is on their knees. 

 

Too easy. Itrapped scoffed, how irritating... But he must stay profesional. Stay good in the eyes of admin.

 

 

Doombringer who is sitting clapped before laughing. "Haha! That was fast!" 

 

 

The audience follows Doombringer lead and cheers. 007n7 was surprised, he swear he could see those cheat code. 

 

"Noli did you saw that...?"

"Cheating...? Yeah." Under Noli's mask, he is secretly smiling. How bold. He thought, This is much better than I expected. "I think this itrapped is going to get along with us perfectly fine." The fact Doombringer didn't even notice makes things so much better for Noli.

 

 

 

Announcer: Round two! .... And 1x!

 

 

 

"Oh it's their turn!" 007n7 stood up and began to cheering. "You can do it!!!" 

 

1x on the training ground can hear 007n7 cheering from here. As much as they enjoy his enthusiasm, they can't lose focus.

 

Their eyes landed on their opponent. The opponent have a metal sword. Oh—

 

1x remember this in one of their earliest lesson. 

 

 

 

"Why do I have to use wood...? It's unfair." They were so little and full of bruises.

 

Their creator, Telamon... 1x doesn't meet his eyes. "It doesn't matter if it fair or not. It doesn't matter what kind of weapon you were using. What matter is you know how to read their weakness." The deity explain before shoving the wooden sword that was broke into two. "Stand up."

 

"B-but I can't land a hit on you with this..."

 

"If you can't. Use something else. Anything is useful if you're smart enough." Telamon grabbed 1x, forcing them to stand up. 

 

It was a reflex of 1x as they grabbed a fistful of sand and threw it at their creator's eyes. There were groaning but 1x was released back to the ground.

 

Then silence... 

 

"I-I'm sor—"

 

"HAHA!" Their creator laughed creep them out. "Now that's what I called smart." 

 

1x wings fluttered, they rarely see their creator this happy with them. They remembered their creator let them rest and eat candies after that...

Their eyes flickered in red, the opponent movement felt slow compared to Telamon. No, Telamon can't be compared to anyone, he is stronger.

 

 

It was quick— too fast which cause the ground 1x stood from began to shake. Their speed cause the sand powdering around. The opponent couldn't see properly then a hit on their back. 

 

 

As the dust disappearing, it revealed 1x opponent on the ground. Fainted.

 

Doombringer was taken aback. Not that he is complaining, this is a wonderful sight, challenging. 1x passed their first round.

 

Doombringer couldn't see their face due to the mask but there's a sense of similarity... Those skills feels like it originated by Telamon or now Shedletsky. 

 

Hmm, must be a fan of that deity. Shedletsky did publish a book about it anyway. Doombringer grin as he assumed. 

 

Well at least we know he won't figure it out that soon...?

 

 

 

 Of course 1x passed and went back to the waiting room. There's a man who was smiling. A fake smile. "Wow, 1x right? The name is Itrapped." He offers a handshake but was ignore by 1x who decided to walk past him. This is the thanks I get for helping, damn.

 

 

Another round started... More and more. Even Doombringer got himself a popcorn, forgetting he's a judge.

 

 

 

After a long waiting... 

 

Announcer: final round! 1x vs itrapped!

 

It's their turn.

 

1x legs are growing weaker, this is a bad situation. Their legs are trembling as they set their feet to the arena.

 

Focus— it hurts. Why is it hurting?

 

 

"You're still young, you don't have to force yourself to walk. Why don't you use your wings? I heard baby bird fly after two weeks."

 

 

 Miss Jane... How could they ever forget her. They couldn't.

Their wings... 1x look at Itrapped, he looks confident he's going to win. 

 

Ittrapped began on attacking and 1x is trying to block every single hit. 

 

They can't afford to fall so is Itrapped.

 

Itrapped clench his teeth at 1x stubbornness. Taking a few back, he noticed that 1x lower strength are giving up and the wooden sword looks like it's about to break. They never use their wings for the entire rounds so he assumed they have disability.

 

I just have to break her then. He thought, using another position. He tightened his grip on the cold sword, aiming at 1x. 

 

 

... To his dismay, 1x spread their wings. Managed to get higher and slammed itrapped body to the ground.

 

 

"Ugh— how did you..."

"Plot armour." 1x give a thumb up.

 

"F###." Itrapped probably think he lost to some weeb. "Okay get off me, I lost."

 

"... My leg gave up. I can't get up..."

 

"just my luck...." Itrapped let his face dirtied by the ground. Very shameful.

"Alright we got a winner. 1x will be getting full scholarship, full uh what is this written." Doombringer look closely at the paper before shrugging it off. "Eh, that doesn't matter." 

 

1x is being supported by both 007n7 and Noli. Is this seriously the demonic admin??? They thought, a bit disappointed but relief they don't have to worry about Doombringer. 

 

 

"Sir, you forgot to mention because this is the first year of the course. The winner will be granted a wish." 

"Oh #### right." Doombringer fake a cough, "So what do you want X?" 

 

"Uh." 1x didn't think much about this. "I don't know yet."

"Oh-uh... Well I guess we could wait for that!" Doombringer laughed, "Oh look at the time. It's time for my dinner!" With that, the admin teleported away. 

 

 

007n7 blinked before smiling awkwardly. "...what a productive conversation...?" 

 

 

"Either the admin is dumb or we're just smart..." Noli mumbles, still surprised since 007n7 mentioned he found 1x on the underground of Roblox HQ yet an admin couldn't even recognize them. "Let's go get pizza."

 

"What's a pizza?" 1x asked.

"Unholy food." Noli replied, which 007n7 kinda agreed. 

 

"Yeah but it taste heavenly! I think you might like it?"

"If you say so..."

Yeah it's small, that's the purpose. To make 1x feels small so they won't be having hope for themself.

Also, the cage is also the reason why 1x is having trouble to walk and fly. Since it's so small while 1x is growing up in that cage, they can't move a lot and well it's cramped in there. 

 

Their wings a bit damaged too because of the metal bars.

"1x, it seems like we are roommate." Itrapped smirks, "Now are you going to give me a handshake?"

 

It have been two weeks since the exam and result came out. Since Itrapped and 1x are the two last standing, they're sharing the same dorm.

 

 1x ignored him. E7 said they don't have to force themself to interact with people. 1x is a bit pissed though after finding out 007n7 and Noli are roommate. 

 

"Hey, blockhead. You don't mind if I invite couple of friends over hmm?" Itrapped asked while trying to get their attention. "Had to ask. I'm a man who ask for permission."

"As long you don't make a mess." 1x doesn't care, they're planning to see 007n7. 

 

"Thanks!" Itrapped took out his smartphone which bring curiosity to 1x. 

The feathers one slumped over the man's back. It's cold, they thought before looking at the device. 

 

"What are you doing." Itrapped raised an eyebrow. Are all peasants like this? No, definitely not because that nerd doesn't act like this. 

 

"Is that a phone?"

 

"Yeah...?" 

 

"It looks weird." 

 

"Because it's a smart phone. Not block phone or flip phone. This one." He said, "It's expensive and something peasants like you could never have."

Itrapped vein popping up, he hold back his anger but still pushed 1x away from him. 1x fell on the floor, not bothered at all. 

Itrapped sighed, he was about to go out from the dorm until he sees 1x body is transparent body. 

 

 

"What kind of hybrid are you...?" Itrapped raised an eyebrow before bending over. "I never see one with this kind of quirk."

"I'm a rare one then." They lied while pretending to be nonchalant about it. "My friend said he never see a noob study."

 

"I'm mixed." Itrapped rolled his eyes, standing up then walks over 1x. "See you later I guess."

 

1x heard the door opened then closed. They sighed before getting up to look at their schedule, so many classes going to start next week. 

They grabbed the dictionary book because for now, they need to understand some common knowledge.

3. Don't tell people you were locked up.
4. Pretend to hate hacker.

Easy list. 1x thought to themself. Now all they need to explore the campus... Maybe not alone, which dorm did 007n7 reside again?

Shedletsky and 2x2 arrived at the center of the college. Their purpose is to find Doombringer and make sure he's not lacking. Even though it was Shedletsky the one who supposed to go alone but he brought 2x2 along with him.

"To learn how your old man working of course!" Shedletsky chuckles before ruffling his son's hair, "You're going to be the greatest swordmaster after me so you need to see what to do other than fighting and fishing."

 

2x2 huffed but nodded anyway. "Okay okay." The young boy smiles, "but promise me we don't have to eat chicken for dinner..."

 

"Tell your mother that. You know how much she love this big belly." 

 

"Ew! Dad, we're in public. Thankfully my friends aren't here." 2x2 rolled his eyes, "Where is the office anyway... Why there's no security guards???"

 

"It's afternoon so I'm pretty sure they're taking break though at least one person should be here..." Shedletsky shrugged, "Let's just go. Everyone know me so no need for verification."

"Sorry about that kiddo." Shedletsky chuckles, "How about you visit the garden? Doombringer said there's a pond of fish."

 

"Yeah! But don't go fishing though." Doombringer laughed. 2x2 shrugged it off and went without thinking twice. He's definitely going to catch those fish.

 

 

 

2x2 went up flying which he arrived quickly to the said garden. 

 

There is a pond and fish swimming around. Oh how 2x2 envy those fishes. He heard rustling coming from the other side of the bushes, a pair of wings sticking out. Oh a hybrid? He thought, smiling as he's planning to introduce himself. 

 

 

But as soon he gets closer, the hybrid have transparent skin. Huh...? 

 

"1x1x1x1?" 

 

That name clearly startled the said hybrid. 2x2 didn't wait and grabbed them by shoulder, turning them around. He was greeted by burning red eyes— is this 1x1x1x1? Didn't it has a pair of black eyes?

 

"Oh sorry, I mistook you for something else." 2x2 sighed, letting the hybrid go. There's no way that thing is out from the cage. "I'm 2x2 but you probably knew it already because my father is Shedletsky." He smile faintly, "so uh... Is the transparent body a condition or something."

"... ..." 1x didn't reply, their eyes stares at 2x2 like a predator. There's a long paused before 1x decided to leave first.

 

"Hey wait!" Yet 2x2 grabbed their hand, "I still haven't got your name— ouch!" 2x2 pulled away his hand as 1x almost slit his wrist with the nails. 

 

 

2x2 swears he feel error code damaged it. As he look up to scold the culprit, 1x is nowhere to be seen. He tightened his grip on his wrist, he should find Shedletsky too—

 

"Kiddo I am here!"

 

Or maybe he don't have too. Shedletsky landed safely so 2x2 went to his father. "Dad, do you have any healing with you? Some wild hybrid scratched me."

"Jeez you gotta be careful around them next time, kid." Shedletsky sighed, taking out a bandage from his bag. "Here, let me just... ... There done. Thankfully it's not a big one." He huffed, "We should report this and find that hybrid."

 

"You don't have too... Particularly it's my fault for making her uncomfortable." 

 

"You're such a kind child." Shedletsky smiles proudly before wiping his non existent tear. "Come on, give your old man a hug. You're like your mother too which made me even prouder!" 

 

"Daaddd nooo." 2x2 slightly laugh before giving in into the hug.

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile all that sweet stuff is happening, 1x didn't leave the garden, instead they are hiding behind the walls. 

 

That's Telamon. Their heartbeat thumped faster due to anxiety. Oh, oh— he abandoned me and now he's playing house now?

 

 

1x still remember, they were so little and wanted to be hug by their creator. Wanted to be held and be loved yet he never look at them. That little scratch 1x gave is nothing compared to what Telamon did to them years ago but he never show any signs of worry like this. 

 

2x2 is like brighteyes? A whole joke. 1x gritted their teeth, how could he made that comparison? 

 

 

 

Oh, 1x can't understand what's so different between them and 2x2. They can't understand.

 

1x body started to move by it own, they couldn't understand but they began to run. Something they haven't done in years. 

 

They should've confronted Shedletsky right there, right now but they didn't. Are they afraid?

Shut up— SHUT UP! They put their hands around their head as they kneeled on the ground. Faces that 1x couldn't recognize surrounded them, GeT AwAY gET AWAy! They won't stop coming even when 1x lowered their face.

 

 

How could Telamon do this to them? They did everything to pleased him and yet— 

 

YET. 

 

... What kind of sin they commit to deserve such fate...? What did they do to made Telamon discarded them... ... 

 

 

For a brief moment, 1x really wished Telamon just send them to banland. At least that way they won't have to see how much he don't want them. 

Instead, he locked them up. Making 1x hopes that he would come back one day. Maybe just one day— back to them, take them back to his home again and tuck them back to their crib. 

 

Oh... ... How humiliating... 1x choked on their sobs, why are they crying now. So childish ... ...

 

 

... ... 1x feels a jacket around them. They look up and met a face yet they recognize. 

 

"Let's go back to your room." 007n7 voice was gentle, lovely. 

 

He didn't grab or take their hand. Just wait for 1x is ready to recollect themself. 1x slowly gets up, their eyes lowered only to watch the ground but they're moving.

It is a long silence in the dorm. Noli look pissed because he was having fun exploiting some experience with 007n7 and when they got back, of course 1x have to make a scene because they don't see 007n7 for half of the day.

 

They're back at their dorm and that stupid friend of his is comforting 1x in their dorm that they shared. 

 

"This is so ridiculous..." The masked one muttered, crossing his arms together. "They're not a kid. You said they're the same age as us so stop treating them like a child, Seven."

 

"I would treat you the same if you were having panic attack." 007n7 frown, a bit disappointed at Noli nonchalant attitude. He sighed before taking a cold wet tower and gently placed it on 1x head. "There."

 

"Thanks..." 1x sad face didn't change, Noli want to laugh how pathetic 1x looks. "I should go back to my dorm now." 

"No you're not." 007n7 held 1x firmly, "What happened? What made you like that...?" 

 

1x eyes look weak, filled with despair. It looks the same as 007n7 first met them in that cage. "... Telamon is still alive." 

 

 

That sentences surprised both 007n7 and Noli. The deity is still alive? 

 

 

"Wait, wait— how???"

 

"He visited the campus earlier with his new creation." 1x scowl yet their eyes still hold sadness. 

 

"... So Shedletsky and 2x2?" Noli raised an eyebrow, "Wait. That famous admin, Shedletsky is Telamon???"

Noli heard from some mutuals that Shedletsky visited with 2x2. Some mutuals even claimed that they saw 2x2 was scratched by 1x.

 

"1x.. 2x2... ... This made a lot of sense. Huh..." Noli chuckles, the answer was in front of him all along.

That explain why 1x doesn't look like a hybrid. Noli knew it his brain didn't go missing.

 

"So Shedletsky locked you up then...? Why?"

 

"That's not important, Seven!" Noli suddenly pushed 007n7 away before grabbing 1x by shoulders. "Are you the oldest or youngest?!" 

 

"... Oldest?" 

 

"Do you know how old is your younger brother then?" 

 

"... ... No. He wasn't there when I exist." 

 

"Crap, your age is still mysterious but you're definitely not seventeen." Noli mumbles, "2x2 age is still a mystery and all the admins age stay anonymous while...." Noli began to muttering to himself.

 

 

"well that's Noli for you... So.." 007n7 was going to ask again his question but 1x raised their hand, clearly not ready to answer it. "I understand."

"Ah y'know, exploiting. You should check the news because Noli and I did a total blow on that experience!" 007n7 laughed, "Oh all of them were screaming for life, it's so hilarious."

 

1x is a bit surprised by this side of 007n7. "ah." They nodded, "You like do this kind of things?"

 

"Of course! It have been a while too because I was busy helping you." 

 

Oh that's why 1x never see this side of him. Maybe they did when he broke in the HQ Roblox but that was only for few moments.

 

Did I hold him down? He seems happier doing this than be with me. 1x thought, their heart suddenly felt hurt. 

 

Oh— 007n7 and Noli are closer than ever and he seems really happy to be with Noli. So it's like that?

 

Are their relationship like John and Jane? For some reason, 1x still feel their chest in pain. They don't feel like throwing up but they don't feel that good looking at these two so close. 

 

For a few seconds they stood there... Then went out from the dorm without a word. 1x went back to their dorm where they find Itrapped sitting at their desk.

 

 

"you're back from your silly panic attack?" Itrapped slowly turn around as the chair he is using moved around. "You made a quite scene and of course thanks to me, I came up with an excuse that you were roleplaying with me." 

 

"..." 1x whole body gave up and dropped on the floor. That didn't hurt but their chest still is.

"I— how improper..." Itrapped sighed before getting up from his seat, went over 1x then dragged them to their bed. "Did your friend broke your heart or something?"

 

"Broke my heart...?"

 

"Your expression, it tells me that you just got heartbroken. Is it that nerd?" He is referring to 007n7. "I mean I always see him with Noli. Even Noli said he is actually courting on the nerd." 

Oh. 1x whole body sink on the bed even more. They're groaning. 

 

"Ah couple these days." Itrapped huffed. "Worry not, I'll help you but it come with a favor."

"I don't need help. N is a friend, he's happy with stupid Noli then I'm happy."

 

"You're making a really funny face." Itrapped is talking about 1x frowning, "The offer still up. I just need someone to do the chores in this dorm because I'm too busy." He brushed his hair to the side as if he is a royalty. "Ah look at the time, it's time for my beauty sleep."

 

"It's eight o'clock...?"

 

"Yes? Don't tell me you're one of the sleep deprived."

 

"No... that would be N.."

But to the three of them? They don't consider 1x as apart of their family at all، rather an emotion of Telamon that gotten rid off.

007n7 open the door and find two container filled with food. One for breakfast and one for lunch and the note said 'eat.'

 

Things have been like this for weeks since their class started and it was 1x who prepares this. How did 007n7 figure out? That handwriting of them, it's recognizable.

Perhaps this is 1x way to repay him? It's sweet but where do they get the ingredients?

Noli already left early because he got a class at eight in the morning. So 007n7 ate the breakfast and went to his class. He enjoys the coding class, might as well find a new way to update his c00lgui.

Because 'it' was only four years old. 1x slightly frown, they weren't aware that they're apart of the prophecy until they were locked away.

 

"Then Telamon sealed 1x1x1x1 power to a crown." The professor shows a panel, the green domino crown. That's their crown, the only thing that Telamon ever gave but because of that crown, 1x remember became weaker.

 

Sealed? Hah... Haha... Oh this whole time he planned this ahead. 

 

 He never wanted me. Something snapped inside 1x, the hatred they thought they have forgotten filling up. They thought it disappears when 007n7 saved them but no, it just dripping until the glass is full. 

 

He planned this. Created me out of his hatred and then— 

 

The whole classroom suddenly became dark, the panel on the whiteboard is now filled with 1x1x1x1x numbers. Students are afraid while some of them are intrigued. 

 

1x hates this. This whole time they're just a pawn. Maybe 1x already figured out long time ago, they just don't want to accept it.

 

"Wow the college being hacked?" Ellernate pointed out at the outside, on every screen, there are 1x1x1x1x virus.

 

"1X1X1X1 CAME BACK. RUN EVERYONE!" one student yelled out and immediately jumped from the window.

 

"What the f###..." Ellernate starting to think he's the only sane one in this college as more students ran. His friend suddenly stood up from his seat, cleaning up his stuff. "Itrapped where are you going..."

 

"If this place is being exploited, that means the security lowered so I'm going to steal some robux from the principal vault." Itrapped smirk, "You're coming?"

 

"No? I'm not risking that. Get Caleb to help you." Ellernate sighed, turning around to look at 1x only to find them missing from their seat. "When did he...?"

"Same with me, Seven." Noli sighed, looking at the students running from the buildings. "I think college is about to be on lockdown. Let's go out while we can." 

"But 1x is still—" 007n7 stopped as he saw 1x is running alone, and every step they made making screen passed them shut down. "... ..."

 

"This really can't be just a coincidence anymore." Noli mumbles, grabbing 007n7 with him as they began to chase after 1x. "QUICK BEFORE WE LOSE THEM!"

007n7 who were running after them stood there in pure horror. A rash decision was made by him as he opened up his c00lgui and his form became something monstrous.

Noli was glad the public was to focused on scattering. The moment he look back at 007n7, his friend was missing.

1x arrived at a familiar house, it's still intact but the playground look ruined.

Jane would open the door for them because they were too small to reach it. 1x opened the door, finding dusty furnitures and broken frames. 

 

They remembered this hall, John would welcome them and picked them up before playfully try to throw them in the air. Now their wings dragged onto the floor, eyeing at every single thing.

The calendar, old calendar. The numbers are fading but a big red mark on 18 march is very clear because John love his wife a lot. He would keep the present on top of the closet where his daughter couldn't reach it.

 

 

Walking upstairs, there's only one room intact while others were destroyed. Why? Is this to hide people who are close to John Doe?

 

 

They wondered, rummaging through old stuff to find at least one reminder that they're not a myth. They are real people, lovely family and they are someone who would never discriminate others. A drawing made by a child, oh. It belonged to them, 1x remember that they drew this. 

 

They used to love drawing species of birds. 

 

It looks dusty and the colour faded but it's still their drawing. Something that they gifted personally for the couple and the two of them loved it. How could they became a myth, more over being called a hacker?

 

This isn't fair. Why did this happened while 1x was locked away? 

 

1x finally saw their reflection on the mirror in the bedroom. They're not surprised but at the same time they are disturbed about their look. 

 

Their white hair became black and it matched up with their skin currently. It remind them of the darkness they were in. 

They look taller and bigger, horrifying. Their nails are sharper like beast.

 

 

The sense of dread filled the air, they felt sick.

 

 

It hurts again, why does it hurts? They asked the obvious. Why didn't their creator kill them when he had the chance, at least they won't have to suffer unless it's his wish to make them suffer. 

 

1x choked between their sobs, breaking the mirror in the process. 

 

 Footsteps approaching, it's none other but 007n7. "1x..." The young hacker mumbled, he always find them in the worse moment ever. "I'm here." He looks different, he looks like the first time they met. His pupil are red just how 1x remembered.

 

"It hurts." 

 

"I know it does, don't bottle it up." 007n7 didn't try to hold them as he know, they're not ready just yet. "I will stay with you."

 

"... Why doesn't he want me? What did I do wrong?" Their nails digging on their own skins, hurting themself. "What did I do wrong...? I did all for him and he still don't want me."

 

"..." 007n7 frown, spreading his arms. "I want you." 1x feels so vulnerable at that time as they willingly embraced the young hacker. 

 

Their sharp nails digging on the poor man skin but 007n7 didn't flinch, instead he hold them tighter. Their terrifying form slowly reverted back to normal.

Their skin went back to soft gray that includes the wings. It shrunk back to the old wings and the nails that were digging on the skin shortened yet it still causes bleeding.

 

 

1x is breathing evenly now, they felt tired. Perhaps from the effects of using the power they thought had long gone.

 

 It's warm. Their eyes shut down, it's safe now. They are safe.

 

007n7 felt body gets heavier, it seems like 1x passed out from the outburst. He look at his c00lgui to see the news and frown at the situation.

 

The virus on every screens are gone yet it seems like people are now suspecting the return of 1x1x1x1. 007n7 never thought he'll use his teams in this situation.

 

He type something on the GUI, commanding it to turn the whole sky in Robloxia to red. 

 

'J0in Team c00lkidd's today!'

 

Is what plastered on the sky now which alerted some of the members of the team to cause chaos. This work as a distraction while 007n7 get 1x back to their college.

Doombringer sighed out of frustration, first the virus 1x1x1x1x came back then the hacker that escaped from his grasp suddenly causing more problems by letting his followers cause more chaos.

 

 

"I need to get the hammer..."

"SIR!" Doombringer turn around to find one of his student being carried by another student. "I need your help! Team c00lkidd attacked us. We escaped but my friend is now unconscious!" 

 

"Oh—" Doombringer immediately hold 1x, carefully lifting them on his shoulder before looking at 007n7. "You're bleeding, let me carry you too."

 

"Ah, no sir I— ack!" 007n7 yelped as Doombringer suddenly pick him up then ran towards the infirmary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

007n7 sat down on a bed awkwardly while E7 is talking to Doombringer. The young hacker gave up warning to the other c00lings to stop causing chaos cause the admins are out to ban them.

 

1x is still unconscious from what it seems. 

 

.... 007n7 had a long thought, so 1x is 1x1x1x1. . . He really feels dumb now. He thought their name is a coincidence and the fact that Telamon locked them away is another coincidence.

 

Or maybe he already figured it out but just in denial. He's not the type to abandon someone due to their origin. He's not like his parents who abandoned him when he was so young. "Guess you're older than me after all." He muttered under his breath.

 

 

But still, to him. 1x is still his friend, not some virus.  

 

 

"I finished talking with Mr. Doombringer. Ah jeez, it hasn't been a month and yet..." E7 glanced at 007n7 wounds and then unconscious one. "Do you remember the face of the attacker?"

 

"No.. they were wearing devil's mask.." 

 

"The blasphemy..." Doombringer slightly pouted since he's robloxian species that have devil's horn. "I hope... Your comrade is going to be alright." Doombringer sighed, looking at 1x without their mask for the first time.

 

 

They looks familiar, they look similar to someone. 

Doombringer couldn't pinpoint who.... Except for that misfortune child. 

 

 

"Sir?" E7 voice remind him that he shouldn't zone out. "I have to go back to work now. It seems like more bots appeared in some experience."

 

"Ah right. I'll look after the kids." E7 smiles out of relief, believing in Doombringer. E7 left so Doombringer sat down on the extra chair. "Thankfully you and your friend is the only students who got hurt— what I mean it's unfortunate you two got hurt but if more get hurt, this will be a serious case and parents will press charges..."

 

"Don't worry sir, we won't sue at all. It was our fault for running instead of staying in dorm during lockdown." 007n7 put up a smile, it's not like I have money anyway. 

 

"Thank you for understanding!" Doombringer laughed. 

 

The young hacker glanced at Doombringer, he need answers without acting suspicious. "... Sir, did Telamon really banished 1x1x1x1?" 007n7 asked, "Do you take any part of it?"

 

"I—" Doombringer take a breath, calming down. "... That's a private matter, kid. Are you worried about those virus?"

"Totally. Who wouldn't?" He faked his worry. "I just want to know... Since no robloxians actually witness Telamon banish 1x1x1x1... Admins at least have to know?"

 

"... It really got banished... That's all." Doombringer hold his hands together, trying to suppressing the memories.

"NO PLEASE TELAMON, I'M SORRY. I WON'T DO IT AGAIN. I'LL DO BETTER." the child scream as they was drag to the cage. "I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY. I WILL CHANGE! I WON'T GET MAD AGAIN. I WON'T HATE ANYONE— TELAMON. DAD— FATHER!" 

 

Doombringer watched the poor child being dragged. He doesn't know why in that day, he gave up on protecting the right. 

 

He failed John and Jane. He barely know the child but seeing them being locked in a cage hurt. He should've move and state his opinion.

 

"DAD! MOM..." Brighteyes was hesitating but one pat from Telamon, she walk away without looking back. "Mom... Mom, I promise I'll stop asking anything from you..." The child's hand was so little, reaching out from the cage. 

 

 Doombringer made a few step, lifting up the cage as the child sobs. Their green eyes that resembles the emerald drowning in fear. 

 

"M-Mister. I-I won't be a bad kid! Please convince Telamon... I really won't do it again. I won't pick up a sword, I won't be near codes or anything else—"

 

"... I'm sorry, kid." 

 

The child face dropped in defeat. The cage are so small but that day, he couldn't see what so wrong about it. The child was given chain on neck and wrist, preventing them from moving any further in the damned cage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

That was the last time Doombringer saw that child. It have been years since that day, it have been years since the child became a myth instead of a real person.

 

Doombringer eyes snapped back to reality, he realized he is in the Roblox HQ. He saw everyone are busy to fix the chaos so Doombringer went further in, if he remembers correctly... The teleportation point is hidden in....

 

Doombringer path suddenly was blocked by non other than Brighteyes.

 

"Heyyy Doombringer, what brings you here?" Brighteyes smiles.

"I need to check on the 1x1x1x1."

"I see." Doombringer nodded, he has no reason to doubt Brighteyes. After all, she's the one who volunteered to keep an eye on 1x every time Builderman feels anxious. "Well... I guess I should focus on banning those 'c00l team'."

Brighteyes doesn't remember when she decided to do this. Perhaps out of guilt? Or perhaps because she feels like she own the child something. 

 

Child— she knows she shouldn't call 1x a child, they can't be considered as a child... Right? The tears and wailing, that's not a real child. 

 

 

 

Until 2x2 was born, crying in her arms. That tiny hands reminds her a lot of 1x when they were so little. 

 

 

 

Their old crib belongs 2x2 crib now. The empty room that was resided by 1x filled with children's toys. 1x never have any of those before. 

Brighteyes look at 2x2 growing up like how 1x grew up... But people thinks it's a curse, emotion can't grow up. 

 

It stays in the same form. That's what Brighteyes always believes.

 

That's what she always believed until one day, after five years of locking 1x away, she went to see them. She was surprised to hear from Builderman that nobody ever step in that room since they were locked away. 

 

At first she was doubting her mind. She thought when she visit 1x, she wouldn't see the child growth. Oh, she was wrong. Terribly wrong when she witnessed the child who used to be so little actually grew up. 

 

"Ma...?"

 

They were calling for her. Brighteyes for the first time, dropped on her knees. The child was so thin, so small yet they're growing. Their wings were disheveled as it out of the cage because it's growing like the little child. 

 

Brighteyes remember she was crying while fixing the wings while the child just lean closer to her despite locked up in a cage. 

 

Since then, it became something she done every year until ... ...

 

 

"Why can't you let me out...?" The miserable child cried blood, how long have they been crying to the point their eyes turned red? "Mom... I won't be a bad kid anymore... Please let me out...-" 

 

 

But Brighteyes didn't say anything. She should have but she didn't. She was afraid, still in denial to understand the child in front of her isn't just a hatred. She is afraid that once she free them, the child isn't actually a child and it deceived her.

 

1x realized that Brighteyes wasn't going to let them out, began to hurt themself in the cage. Crying and screaming for out loud— Their arm reach out from the cage, begging Brighteyes to not leave but she still left.

 

 

After that, some months later... They escaped. 

 

 

Brighteyes should've report it but something made her not to do it. If the child really resent everyone, maybe they deserve it. No, not maybe. Everyone really deserve to be resented as all of them turned back when an innocent child was ripped out from their childhood.

 

Brighteyes deserves to be hated by the child.

 

But she still want them to love her. She's a hypocrite and she knows that... ... She really own the child something. She's part of people who take away the freedom that once belonged to the child, the least she can do is buying the child's time until they regain their fully freedom.

 

 

 

 

 

"Earth to Mom? Are you okay?" 2x2 corner went unnoticed. "Did 1x1x1x1 do something to you when you were visiting?"

 

"Oh, no no. They are in good behavior."

 

"They? Mom, you know that thing doesn't have gender. Its not robloxian like us." 2x2 sighed, "Look, Dad and I are going fishing! Are you coming?" Her son smile, waiting for an answer. 

 

"Sure." Brighteyes agreed, Shedletsky changed after 2x2 was born. Claiming Telamon is gone. Brighteyes doesn't believe it that one bit.

 

She loves her husband, she love her family but acting like she didn't abandoned the first child she ever had hurts a lot. Brighteyes sighed, thinking that she deserves this. She do deserves this to be in pain and it'll bite to Shedletsky later.

"Three days." The young hacker claimed while feeding 1x a slice of orange. "The virus was something, will it happen everytime you transformed?" 007n7 smiles, slightly teasing the poor one in bed.

"... Oh you found out." 1x munched the orange in their mouth, sour... 

 

"Yeahhhh, I mean the signs was really obvious after that." The young hacker nervously laugh, "Anyway, the teachers let us have a week of the rest due to my wounds were really concerning and also because you passed out so—" As 007n7 continue to speak, 1x mind went somewhere else. 

 

007n7 accepted them for who they really are. 1x feel sense of pride... Perhaps because they've been accepted by someone other than Jane and John. Moreover it's 007n7 who accepted 1x which even better.

 

They lift up their hand, which caught 007n7 attention. The young hacker hold their hand before leaning over. 1x slowly caress his face before pulling him over to the bed. 

 

"You're such a touch starved." Even though 007n7 is the same as 1x, he just didn't realize it. The young hacker lay down on the bed properly, still holding onto 1x hand. "So... 1x1x1x1 .. that's a lot to said."

 

They scoffed, "Just call me what you always called me..." 

"Alright alright..." 007n7 slightly chuckles, "Anything else I should know about you?" 

 

"I know John and Jane Doe. They're real people." 1x voice was low, yet enough for 007n7 to listen. "They're lovely couple, always help others... The house that I went were theirs... ...- They are not hackers if you're wondering. I don't know how it concluded to that..."

 

"... If they're real, they're probably somewhere in Robloxia..." 007n7 mumbles, "because everyone thought you, a 'virus' is in the banland. Maybe that's the same case as them?" He theorized before looking at 1x again, "Do you want to find them?"

"... I'm going to find out what really happened to them."

 

 

"What in the world did I just miss?" 1x accidentally kicked 007n7 off the bed as Noli startled both of them.

"I'm fine! I'm fine..." 007n7 slightly groaned from the pain as he gets back from his knees. "Noli... When did you get here?"

 

"When this virus claimed they know the myths personally." Noli eye slightly glares at 1x. "Here's your homework, Seven." 

"Ah, thanks Noli." 007n7 took the notes from him." "Uhm, I'll stay with X, you should go."

 

"Again?" Noli eye twitched out of annoyance. "You've been staying with them for three whole days now. You don't even come back to dorm instead you take showers in toilets!"

 

"You did...?" 1x raised an eyebrow. 

"Yeah he did." Noli scoffed.

 

007n7 was stunned but quickly get back to the point. "Okay- First of the all, I will stay with them again. Second, how the #### you know where I took my shower...?"

 

"That's not important! What important is that your are distancing yourself from me—" the masked one suddenly was interrupted by a pillow that were thrown at his face. 

"Silence, patients in recovery here." 1x frown before throwing another pillow. "Be Gone!"

 

"Why you little...." 

 

"Noli." 007n7 sighed, "Please leave us alone? I'll come back to our dorm tonight but for now I'll stay with X."

"... Tch, fine." Noli mumbles under his breath, leaving them too then slammed the infirmary door.

 

 

 

 

"He's not this grumpy.. I don't know what gotten into him." 007n7 sighed, picking up the pillows that 1x threw.

 

because he likes you. 1x thought to themself. "So... How did nobody figure out that I am 1x1x1x1....?"

 

"... Not sure really. I did caused some distraction to avoid suspicious that you're virus but now three days had passed, I wonder if anyone in Roblox HQ actually check that cage... ..."

"... Nobody except for one." 1x thought of Brighteyes. They weren't sure if Brighteyes is on their side. 

 

 

She only visited to clean off their wings once a year. No talk despite 1x the one who start the conversation. Nothing, just silence no matter how much 1x tried. Trying to prove to her that they're not a bad child.

 

But they only met with silence. 

 

No matter how much tears they shed, she won't budge. She just left, she left. She gave them fake hope and still left. The time 

 

 

"It doesn't matter anymore." 1x looked away, "Can I get more orange?" They changed the topic and 007n7 sense their discomfort so he went along.

 Itrapped sighed but opened the window anyway, "so I heard you'll get more day off. Planning to go somewhere?" 

 

"N asked me to hang out with him tomorrow." 

 

"Going to a date?" Itrapped smirk, "Oh, spicy. Where are you going?"

 

Date? Is it the fruit or tomorrow date? They don't understand that date have another meaning. "Just library."

 

"Boring." Itrapped huffed, "I was excited to give you a makeup over, of course that nerd chose Library out of everything." He shrugged it off before taking off his cardigan. "Anyway Mr Doombringer still give you homework. Come here, there's some works needed to be explain or else your bird's brain will explode."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

007n7 quietly entered his dorm, it's dark so he thought Noli fell asleep until a click sound and the light was turn on. Noli is behind him, clearly frowning as he is now without the mask. 

 

"You're late."

 

"How am I late? You didn't say what time I should come." 007n7 sighed, slightly stretch as the stitches on his body needed to be cared carefully. "I'm going to bed."

 

"You still haven't take a shower." Noli step forward, slightly pull 007n7 close to him. "I'm worried. You worked all of this for that... Virus."

 

"I already told you if you don't have anything nice to say, shut up." 007n7 warns him again, moves away from Noli. "Goodnight."

 

"Seven, don't ignore me—"

"Noli. Please, not tonight. I'm exhausted." 007n7 frowns before laying on the bed, not facing Noli who are still standing there. 

 

 

Noli feels anger boiling in him, he closed the light then went out from the dorm before slamming the door.  

 

The walk from the dorm was silence. Some students still up but they're heading towards the dorms. Noli cooled himself down, he can't afford to get mad at 007n7 who finally to sleep in their own dorm instead of the infirmary.

 

 He is pissed because 007n7 got hurt by 1x, their outburst caused injuries and what made it worse for Noli that 007n7 doesn't see this as a big deal.

 

For his sake out loud, it's a big deal. 007n7 could've die but that's just Noli's paranoia. 

If only Noli could get 007n7 focus all his attention on Noli again then he wouldn't this pathetic 

 

He need to find a way for 007n7 to abandon 1x. Then a poster flying over his face as if the world answered his prayer.

"Was the lipstick really necessary though..." 1x muttered to themself, not noticing 007n7 was next to them yet.

"Good morning?" 007n7 slightly smiles, a bit surprised. "You put on makeup?"

 

"Itrapped said girls should not look like a homeless person." 

 

So he still hasn't realized 1x isn't actually a girl... 007n7 thought to himself, what do I expect? He called me a nerd. The young hacker sighed, the bus has arrived. "Oh let's get in."

 

"Ok."

 

The ride on the bus was silence, 1x keep glancing at 007n7 who is writing some notes. 

 

 

 

"Okay remember this. Ask him if he thinks you're pretty, that'll get him flustered." Itrapped said as he brush 1x hair, "That guy is dense so you have to make the first move." 

"Why do I have to get him flustered...?" 1x asked, genuinely don't understand. 

 

"Because he's a shy one, I think. Making him caught off from his guard will get him overthinking then actually think about you all the time." Itrapped look confident with the idea, "Trust me, I am a phycology student."

 

"But aren't you in a same course as me..?"

 

 

 

Itrapped didn't answer that and just sent 1x away after finished with their makeover.

 

They thought of the weird advice Itrapped gave before deciding to use it. "Hey, N?"

"If a man said you look nice or great instead of pretty. Sorry to burst this to you but you are doomed." Somehow Itrapped voice are clear in 1x mind. 

 

 

 

1x stopped on trying before leaning towards 007n7 shoulder to see what he's writing. Like they noticed, some locations. 

 

"What is this for?"

"Places I think we could go and have some fun without any admins be able to reach." 007n7 smiles, "Do you ever play hide and seek? It's a pretty good experience other than natural disaster." 

 

"Hide and seek? Like... Someone hide and then be founded?"

"Yeah! I used to play there with E7 all the time until he got busy." The young hacker slightly chuckles, fond of the memories. 

 

 

1x listens to 007n7 telling sorts of story when he was little. It's comforting, something 1x imaged themself be apart of 007n7 childhood. 

Must've been lovely if they were to met him earlier. If he had come to Roblox HQ earlier... Or if 1x was never locked away, they could've experience normal life. 

 

 

"Oh, we arrived." 007n7 voice brings 1x back from their imagination. 

 

 

The two of them got off from the bus. There they are, Robloxia biggest library. 1x still don't get why they're here, still they just want to spend time with 007n7 so they didn't reject his suggestion. 

The library are quiet and peaceful. 1x hasn't realized how nice it is to be quiet place. The cage was quiet but this one feels different. 

 

"Pssh, come here." 007n7 whispered, "There are many section for history of Roblox but I want to show you something special." He chuckles, "It's a thing that I found a while ago."

 

1x raised an eyebrow. 007n7 brought 1x deep in the corridor, his hand are touching the wall then his hand merged with the wall. Oh a secret room...? 

 

"Hold my hand." 1x complied, then he brought them in the hidden room. There's a mirror, shelves and old chair. "You can check out those books- There codes 1010 thing but I couldn't translate it until now. You can try if you want." 

 

1x ear perked at the mention of the codes. They remembered those, it just happens to planted in 1x mind since they were created. They could understand codes. "Sure." 1x mumbles.

 

Then 007n7 suddenly put 1x in front of a mirror. "This is a special mirror. I'm not sure what it is really but I think it shows the future!" He laughed, "I can't see your in front of me but in the mirror, I look old but happy."

 

 

1x raised an eyebrow, there's a faded codes on top of the mirror.

 

 

'This mirror will show what you wanted the most.' 

 

 

Ah... So N want to be happy...? 1x thought he is always happy because of his stupid smile. "N—" 1x eyes shifted, startled as they saw their own reflection in the mirror. 

 

 

Their gray skin is white, pure white. Their eyes are green instead of red... Instead of their long wavy hair, it got shorter and look curlier. There's Telamon, Brighteyes and 2x2 standing behind them. Smiling and seems to be so proud of 1x. 

 

 

"... ..." 1x frowns, before stepping a bit closer towards the mirror. Their hand touch the mirror, now the mirror changed. They look taller and next to them is... 007n7 holding a baby. 

The baby is in black silhouette so 1x couldn't figure what it looks like. Heart beating as they realized what the mirror shows is 1x biggest desire. 

 

Oh. They felt their face really hot right now. The golden rings on finger... 1x pulled away their hand from the mirror, turning around. Unfortunately, they accidentally dragged 007n7 down in the process.

 

 

They both fell on the floor. Tangled legs as 1x is on top of 007n7, cursing themself for causing this. As they were about to get up, 007n7 suddenly place his arms around 1x. 

 

 

"Let's just... Stay like this for a moment." 

 

 

1x blinked, they couldn't see his reaction but his heartbeat is fast. So 1x rested their head on 007n7 chest, holding him closely as they listen to his heartbeat.

 

 

007n7 hand brushed against 1x hair, eyes on the mirror. It's them but in wedding. 007n7 never thought of wearing white dress but now he wants to wear it because he looks absolutely fantastic next to 1x who is wearing suit. 

He doesn't know why the mirror suddenly show this when it never did before. He's not complaining though... He kinda like the sight but his face are now red so he doesn't want 1x to see it.

 

 

Today he went here to show the mirror to 1x to cheer them out as it always cheers him out. Now he found out something he never thought of before... ... It seems like he's going to face serious problem on sorting his feelings out.

For 1x case, Brighteyes doesn't understand why they're growing like a child. Another reason why she couldn't let them out because 1x is growing without basic robloxian needs.

Writing smut is harder than I thought but congratulations, we're getting top 1x and maybe sometime switch- but mostly 1x is the dominant in relationship.

A year had passed.

 

 It have been a year since 1x got out from the cage, their feature grew bigger thanks to all the training and the sun they got.

 

1x doesn't know their birthday so 007n7 insisted on using the day they escaped from their miserable life as their birth date. 

As they were about to tie their hair, they felt a hand on their shoulder. Itrapped.

 

"I heard from the nerd it's your birthday. No invitation for me?" Itrapped jokingly asked before picking up the brush. "You helped me a lot, I need to repay it since I don't want to be in debt with you." Itrapped dragged 1x to the seat, sitting them down before brushing their hair. 

 

1x is quiet as usual. They still don't like Itrapped but tolerate him since he gives them money to stay silence when witness him do shady stuff. 

Of course 1x doesn't care but it's a good way to get money and spend it on 007n7. 

 

"I'll be going to casino tonight, can you open the window so I can climb in without getting caught by the security?" Itrapped asked. "I'll give you hundred robux."

"Why are you going to casino again...?" 1x wondered, "I heard gamblers lost 99% all the time."

 

"Dear X. I'm not there to gamble my money, I found a jackpot instead to do it for me." Itrapped smirks. "Oh! If I'm in a good mood, I'll introduce you to him once he fully trust me. His name is Chance and he's just a few years older than me." Itrapped mentioned since he often to forged his age to get what he wanted, Chance probably fell for it.

"Poor guy got 'trapped'." 1x mocked, they wonder how some people don't see how fake Itrapped is. 

 

Itrapped chuckles, his eyes full of mischief as he already planned everything ahead.

Noli has been acting off since that day, 007n7 has no idea what his friend is plotting. He is not concern as he knows Noli won't risk anything that'll kill him. . . Maybe.

 

 

After all, he knew Noli since highschool. Noli would run from his problems or leave it to others. 

 

007n7 ate a protein bar for breakfast because he doesn't want to waste times by eating. 1x is probably waiting for me at the gate. Just as he was about to leave, Noli grabbed 007n7 by waist. 

 

 

"Leaving so soon?" He buried his face on 007n7 neck, invading the poor hacker personal space. 

"It's 1x birthday, I am going to celebrate it." 007n7 shoved Noli off him, feeling his guts is punching him to get away. 

 

 

He used to be alright with how touchy Noli but it gets... Weird as Noli keep on doing questionable thing. It almost make 007n7 want to change dorm but can't due to the same major.

 

 

"Stop doing that... I already told you before." 

Noli smiles never falter, instead he took 007n7 wrist and placed it on his chest which made 007n7 tried to pull away but failed. "Sorry, you know how much I care for you. My partner."

As 007n7 turn around to put on his shoes, he can feel Noli gaze never leave his figure. The poor hacker immediately put on his shoes and ran away from the dorm.

His guts keep on telling him that he seriously need to change dorm... ... Maybe he will. Hopefully it doesn't cost much money.

 

He wish he could stay at home instead of dorm but he doesn't want to bother E7. 

 

He walks all the way to the gate, finally noticed that 1x is standing there. They're now taller than him, 007n7 was a bit disappointed that he can't be the big spoon when hugging 1x— platonic cuddle of course... ... 007n7 doesn't want to make it weird.

"Thanks! Oh— we should go now, the carnival going to be loaded with people soon." 007n7 look at the time, "Let's take bus-"

All because they want to catch hackers since that incident which 1x and 007n7 can't risk that.

Meanwhile with a certain man in disguise... 2x2 today decided why the heck not go to a carnival? His mother have been oddly distancing herself from family time. 

So Shedletsky just gave 2x2 money to go out while he talks with Brighteyes today.

 

Adult talks... 2x2 sighed, he can tell his parents are going to take a whole day for themselves so he rather not be at home until tomorrow. 

He glanced at some stalls, there's many of foods 2x2 never try before. He guessed he could try some then play some games.

007n7 put on a cheeky smile, brushing 1x words. He arrived at a stall that sells drink for this autumn then place his orders. 

 

"So are you saying this drink costed twenty robux?"

007n7 sighed as he decided to step in. He stopped the said hybrid from taking out his money. "You're being deceive, a bottle of water shouldn't cost that much." The young hacker sighed, glaring at the seller. "Do you want me to report this?"

 

The seller quickly gave the drinks for free, not wanting confrontation. 

 

"Oh that was fast. I thought he would put a fight first." 007n7 laughed nervously while holding the drinks he ordered. "I should go now and you should be careful when buying."

"Sorry about that... This is my first time going out without my parents." 2x2 smile awkwardly, "Ah my name is 2—... 2... Just 2." 

 

"Seriously? Jeez, why can't parents named their child normally." 007n7 sighed dramatically before introducing himself. "I'm 007n7, yeah strange name too."

"I think it's a nice name." 2x2 finally relaxed himself as now he is following 007n7 like a baby duck. "Can I come with you?"

 

"Uhm kid? Ever heard of stranger danger?" 007n7 raised an eyebrow. 

 

"Well— I think I have but if you're a danger. My dad will definitely skin you alive!" 2x2 chuckles as if he didn't just use a threat. "Oh don't worry, you're not a danger. Right?"

 

"... Right.. I'm not." 007n7 can't lie but he's a bit skeptical, "Today is my friend birthday though. I wouldn't want anyone to disturb us."

2x2 seems like he has no understanding the meaning of birthday and say, "But would you rather for a teen like me get lost and have someone take advantage of me?"

"So." 1x eyes daggers at him. "What is he doing here?" 1x of course recognize 2x2 in his disguise unlike 007n7. 

"Oh, you. I remember you from college..." 2x2 slightly frown.

 

"Oh you guys know each other? Perfect then." 007n7 slightly smile despite sensing the tension. "Sorry X, I couldn't leave the kid alone. He almost got scammed by a seller."

 

1x faked a cough as they mumbled under their breath 'idiot' that directed to 2x2. 

 

"... ... Anyway, the more the merrier! Come on guys, there are more game we have to play!" 007n7 takes both 1x and 2x2 hand. 

 

Then 1x just slapped 2x2 hand off 007n7 before taking the young one hand. "How about I take care of this little hybrid."

"Yeah.I.don't.mind." 2x2 forced a smile as he feels his hand is being crushed. Jealous much. 2x2 assumed these two are dating. Holding hands with 1x, he feels a familiar code within them. 

 

 

Shedletsky used to teach him how to identify sign of virus or hacking but this one feels different. Feels more like... An emotion that could burst in any moment if was provoke enough. 

 

Remind him of what his father used to warns him about 1x1x1x1.

 

Suddenly 2x2 doesn't feels that good. Still, he pretended he is fine and went along with the two of them. 

One thing 2x2 learn that 1x is pretty overprotective for 007n7. Jeez are all couples like this? He thought to himself.

The virus eyes twitched in annoyance, they thought Noli is annoying but this little brother of them is more annoying. "Oh, wanna prove that right?" 

 

 

"Uhm guys—" before 007n7 can interfere, the two brothers already ran off to try different challenge. "... What in the world just happened...???"

 

 

007n7 without realizing, those two keep on winning and winning to the point his inventory is full from the prizes. Thankfully 1x won a cart so he put the rest in it. 

 

 

"How are you good at this?!" 2x2 frowns, clearly exhausted.

"My question is, how are YOU not good at this. Aren't you. . . Shedletsky's son. Didn't he teach you anything?" 

 

"He didn't." 2x2 rolled his eyes, scoffing as he try to aim the prize. "He said if I do, I will be evil and corrupted." And his aim once again, terrible. "All because of that stupid 1x1x1x1 virus, made my dad think I should never hold a sword or at least learn self defense." 

 

1x just stood there silently. Did he really just vent at me...? Telamon must've not teach him to not talk to stranger too then... 1x thought to themself, aiming for the candy. Got it. 

 

"I thought Shedletsky care about his son, seems like I was wrong." The seller who stood there picked up the prize and handed it to 1x.

 

"it's all that virus fault anyway..." 

 

"How come it's... The virus fault." 1x mouth twitch from annoyance as they are trying to hold themself from yelling at 2x2 for talking trash. 

2x2 is a bit stunned at the question, it fault? It fault is for making my mom being weird in every visit... Yet that still don't answer why Shedletsky doesn't want to teach 2x2. "... This is stupid."

 

"You are stupid for blaming your parents problem on a virus." 1x flicked 2x2 forehead. "Keep on frowning, I like that sights more."

 

"Oh I'll make sure to frown at you and smile at your boyfriend." 2x2 pushed them aside then ran towards 007n7 who is sitting on the bench. "007n7! I'm hungry, can we to eat now?"

The ride in the bus is uncomfortable with the silence. 1x arm around 2x2 and the young one never felt so terrified for his life, he knew it he should've bring his phone. 

 

Though his stomach is growling due to his hunger which made 1x sneers.  

 

Just as 2x2 thought it couldn't get worse, he was practically dragged out from the bus. Was forced to get into someone's house then was threatened by 1x to sit down at the dinner table.

 

A beef...? 2x2 squinted his eyes, wondering if this some sort of poison.

 

"Ah sorry, must've been a weird occasion for a birthday to have beef instead of cake." E7, from 2x2 guessed he is a caretaker of 007n7. "It's just 1x doesn't like sweet so I made something else instead."

 

Oh, it seems like this unfortunate individual doesn't know the truth about 1x1x1x1... Not sure about that boyfriend of the virus. 2x2 sat there uncomfortably, he really wish he could sink right now.

 

 He actually feels himself sinking as 1x glares at him like a predator deciding their prey.

 

 

"X, you should stop glaring at the poor kid. You're scaring him." 

 

 

Yeah, tell your boyfriend that! 2x2 secretly cheers for 007n7. At least 1x dropped it for now but 2x2 is not safe just yet. He has to leave—

 

"Here's your plate, sorry for the delay." 007n7 slightly patted his head after placing a plate of rice for 2x2.

"Y-You..." 2x2 held back his tongue from cursing, "How... Did you get out from the cage. Since when? How did my mom not notice..."

 

"Maybe she did noticed." 1x rolled their eyes before dragging 2x2 with him. "I am living at a dorm so you'll be coming with me."

 

"W-wait! This is a kidnapping—" 2x2 voice then was muffled as 1x taped his mouth out of nowhere.

"Now, this is a real kidnapping." 1x smirks. "Also mind you, I am not an it. Call me by it, you'll be meeting my fist."

1x immediately shoved 2x2 to the bushes as they see 007n7 is coming out from the house.  

 

"Sorry, I almost forget to give you the present I prepare." 007n7 breath out, handing 1x a wrap gift that appears like a sword. "Oh- where's that kid?"

 

"He flew home." They claimed.

 

"Oh." The young hacker chuckles nervously. "Well then- Happy birthday, X! Did you had fun today?"

"I certainly did." 1x smile, thinking the time he beat 2x2 in the games at the carnival. Shedletsky raised a loser. "Why aren't you coming back to the college? It'll be easier than just go tomorrow morning."

 

"Ah, I just was to talk with my cousin." 007n7 sighed, "Noli have been acting... Weird. So I just wanted to see if I can stay home with E7 or I'll just collect extra money to rent a room somewhere."

 

1x didn't realize that Noli made 007n7 uncomfortable to the point he wanted to move out. They felt stupid now thinking Noli wouldn't bring any harm... 

 

"Well, goodnight X." 007n7 smiles, waving a goodbye as he heads back to his cousin's house.

"2x2? What's wrong—" 

"1x1x1x1— ARGH! why it name is so long?!" 2x2 pulled his hair out of frustration, "It's not—"

 

"Son." 2x2 was pulled by Brighteyes to a hug that 2x2 feels it wasn't a hug. It was a warning for him not to say anything. "Calm down... Are you sad that we took a whole day to discuss our problem?"

 

2x2 feels discomfort in his mother's embrace. As he met her eyes, it only tells him that she knew but kept it a secret. "T-That..." 2x2 was dumbfounded. "... Sorry." But he loves his mother so he shut his mouth.

 

"Uhm... So what's happened?" Shedletsky asked about 2x2 sudden appearance and instead of using the doors, he just broke the wall. 

 

"I almost got bitten by a dog with rabies." 

 

"Oh."

"Dad's gonna be mad at you." 2x2 mumbles, forcing himself to swallow the cereal. "... ... What is 1x1x1x1 really to you guys...? Dad said it were locked away in a cage, banland whatever you called it."

 

Brighteyes sighed as she sat down and gently held 2x2 hand. "Listen... Before you.. your father got rid of his hatred."

 

"I know that." 2x2 remember that Shedletsky told him that 1x1x1x1 is a manifestation of his own hatred but he said it doesn't make 1x a person. 

 

"They were born as a baby." Brighteyes words felt heavy, as she finally acknowledge that 1x isn't a virus that people thought they were. "A baby... Like you. Shedletsky claimed his hatred isn't much, that's why the child were so tiny but it kept on growing like a person."

 

2x2 was dumbfounded, he doesn't know what to say with newfound information. 

 

Brighteyes then continue, her voice sounds like she's about to cry. "They can cry, they can crawl and get curious over little things. They're not an 'it', 2x. They're like you— just... Came from a rather complicated way of birth which is why all of us thought they're not a person. I-I thought the hatred are growing which is why they're growing." She broke into tears, 

 

2x2 was surprised to see his mother breakdowns. He wasted no time and embrace her.

2x2 wondered inside the Roblox HQ. Some greeted him, some too busy to do so. He recalls what his mother said, the secret underground. It wasn't easy to find the teleportation point but he managed and step on it.

He was surprised because there's so many chains for a child to be locked up... 2x2 frown at the sight, feeling sick to his stomach. 

The cage are no different, it's so small. 1x from 2x2 memories is bigger than the cage itself. There's hint of dried blood which mean 1x inflicted harm upon themself.

 

He bend over to inspect the cage then find a old brand of crayons. They only had this to comfort themself...? 2x2 bruised his own lips as he is grabbing the crayons then shoved it to his pocket.

 

There's nothing else in this room. This is far worse than banland. At least banland, the hackers still have entertainment but what 1x received was pure torture only for them.

 

He teleported out from the room, blocking the teleportation point for good. 2x2 kneeled on the floor, trying to catch his breath. He can't understand why would Shedletsky even do this. His dad is a nice man, right? He... ... 

 

 

"Hey, kid? Are you okay?" Builderman coincidentally was passing by and found 2x2. "What are you doing here?"

"I... I just want to take a look at 1x1x1x1... Pretty scary so I blocked the teleportation point for good.." He lied but still speaking the truth, it's a good reason the blocked it so nobody will find out. "Mr. Builderman... That cage.. who exactly design it?"

 

"The cage? It was me." Builderman slightly chuckles as he helps 2x2 gets up from his feet. "Were you impressed? I designed it specifically to stop the growth of the thing."

 

"OKAY." 2x2 accidentally raised his voice, "I-I need to go!" Finding out the people who you admire this ignorant bring sense of dread to 2x2. He flied out from the Roblox HQ, he doesn't care where he is flying. He wants to gets away from everyone.

1x reach and wipe the blood from his lips as their forehead touching his. "I was careless..."

"Y-yeah!" 2x2 isn't helping as he stick his tongue out. "Listen your boyfriend!"

"I have permission so I looked up your location." 

"... I forgot some admins can do that." 007n7 let out a small huff. Since 2x2 is the son of two admins, he definitely was taught how to do that. "X, look... He is harmless, he don't even have muscle."

"Quiet, kid... I'm trying save your life here." 007n7 hushed him. "Anyway... He is harmless. Why don't we listen to what he wants to say...?"

"Guess we're really lovers now?" He placed another kiss but this time it's on the lips. 007n7 feels the stiffness in 1x so he pulled away from the kiss. "Oh sorry- was that too sudden?" 

 

1x eyes dilated as they buried their face to his shoulder. It seems like they like it but just doesn't know how to respond.

He slightly pull his own hair, stressed as he keeps thinking about Noli behavior. "He used to be kind and now— I don't know! I don't... It feels like it he's not my friend anymore."

1x eyes widened as they listen to 007n7 rant, they remembered void star. Something admins keep for power. They did saw those poster on getting void star but 1x know it's a fraud. There's no way admin would actually give the real void star to some robloxian.

If Noli actually got the void star, that means he must've been cursed. Now 1x feel horrible for not noticing how terrible Noli have become.

 

"We're moving in today." 1x said, "I'll go to your dorm and pack your stuff."

In rush, Noli grabbed 1x arm as he yanked them away. "What are you doing?!"

 

"N and I will live together from now on." 1x glares, "You really smells like rotting corpse." 

Noli landed a punch but that didn't budged 1x. "You will not take Seven from me. I tolerated you enough because Seven took you in but now you're just pissing me off."

"Ruined? No." 1x step forward, pressing their finger on his forehead. "N doesn't want to do this anymore and you should respect that." They responded to his delusion as they pick up 007n7 stuffs. 

 

"Give 007n7 back or I'll report you to the admins." Noli threatened them, "I—"

 

"Go on! You don't have proof and even if you do, N will get banned alongside with me so yeah! I will still have N all for me." 1x barked back. "You used to be alright but now? You disgusted me." They said before walk away, slamming the door to make sure Noli take their words seriously.  

 

Noli just stood there, were they right? Noli cares about 007n7, that's why he is doing this. The void star voice gets louder in his head...

1x decided to go to their dorm, packing up some of stuff they have. Not much but still. 

 

 

Itrapped opened the door as he heard their footsteps. "Why did you skipped all the classes today? Are you crazy??" He huffed before grabbing 1x into the dorm. Itrapped picked up some notes from the tables, "Ellernate said I should be generous and yeah sure I am so here's some notes. Thankfully no assignment today—"

 

"I'm moving out with 007n7."

 

"What." He dropped those notes. He was perplexed by the news. "Did you guys got married without inviting me???"

"We're not married yet and yes I will still not invite you." 1x sighed, "I need to get all the stuff."

 

"I still need explanation—" Itrapped stumbled upon his words, his hands are helping 1x packing up their stuff. "Sure more space for me but you and 007n7... it's official?"

 

"Hm." 1x thought for a second, "We kissed and he said we're lovers."

 

"It's official then." Itrapped smirk before chuckling, "Shame I won't be able to style your hair anymore, guess I should do Ellernate since Caleb is bald." 

"You do know we will still see each other in class...?"

 

"Yeah but do you expect for me to do someone's hair instead of paying attention to class?" 

 

 

You literally ironed by hair few weeks ago in English lesson... 1x thought, deciding not to say anything. This time, they packed their stuff calmly. 

 

 

"Well good luck for you and the nerd. I think you both will do just fine." Itrapped said, "Oh, now I can actually take a picture of this room without your bed. At least that gambler will finally believe I have my own house..."

I really thought of why 007n7 had to work 3 jobs despite got into college wasn't purely he an ex hacker. Of course he know how to code but I do think he dropped out from college too because who the hell will take a hacker as their student.

So yeah- plus he probably don't have that degree to work a proper job 😭

So like I actually made him graduated in this story help-

 

 

The tantalizing aroma of fresh coffee brighten up 007n7 morning. He is watching 1x prepares the breakfast, some routine they customize ever since they began to live together.

 

The amazing smell of scramble eggs, one of 007n7 favourite breakfast. Of course, 007n7 brings dehydrated lime for 1x dish as they really like to eat those ever since they found out it existence. He can't judge since he himself choose junk food as his favorite.

It have been four years now. Four peaceful years for both of them. Thanks to 2x2 and Brighteyes, no admins ever suspect 1x. 

 

 

"Are you still sleepy?" Asked 1x as they placed a nutrition breakfast for 007n7.

Their hand is brushing against the man's hair, helping 007n7 to stay awake. "A bit... Late night movie before graduation is truly a bad idea." He slightly chuckles before sipping his coffee. 

 

 

Four peaceful years, 007n7 dropped his hobby as a hacker. People in c00lkidd's team used to be around until they realized 007n7, their leader won't be coming back so they stop on exploiting.

 

Continuing his hobby come with a risk now. 1x could be found if he keep on exploiting some experience. He's not complaining though. He likes this life better... E7 was right about having someone you care about, you'll stop everything for them. 

He finally understood his older cousin and feel a bit guilty about his rebellious phase. At least E7 seems pleased with 007n7 finally taking responsibility.

 

 

"Oh after graduation party, can we stop by at my work?The manager is planning to give me a gift, not sure what is it." 

"Sure, I'm planning to find more clues about doe's anyway." 

 

Despite having help from 2x2. The young boy couldn't find the couple's location as it's privated from the admins views. Since then 1x started their own investigation... They just wanted to know what happened to the couple.

 

 

"Hey, cheer up. We'll find them." 007n7 bopped their nose, "Want me to feed you or something?"

"Well, he got friendlier now." 007n7 slightly scratch the back of his neck as he smile. "Good morning Ellernate, today's weather is really good to graduate."

 

"Yeah." Ellernate sighed before smiling faintly. "Still not talking with Noli? He was super excited for this day, saying he prepared a big surprise for you." 

"You know me." 007n7 quickly brushed it off, not wanting to talk about Noli. 1x noticed this and hold 007n7 hand to comfort him. "Thanks."

 

"Tell me if you're not feeling well. I'll carry you to the stage if needed." 

 

 

007n7 was in awe while Ellernate sighed at the lovebirds 

 

 

"This romance ick me."

"Oop, sorry about that Ellernate. Hope you find someone sooner." 007n7 slightly chuckles as he grins. 

 

"I got the camera!" Itrapped came back with Caleb. "Couple picture first then group. Of course Ellernate since you're single and don't have a lover, stand there." He teased his friend, "But I'll stand beside you too since my dearest gambler is busy."

 

"I'm so done with him..." Ellernate mumbled.

"Cheers up, Ell! It's our graduation day!" Caleb patted his friend's back, "Let's be honest, you'll be single forever."

 

 

Ellernate and Caleb when on to argue but not heated. Itrapped sighed dramatically at his friends shenanigans before looking at the lovers. 

 

 

"Well, like I said. Couple first." Said the ice crowned one.

 

 

Itrapped took a perfect picture after the two of them decided their post. Today looks like it'll be the best day ever for everyone. Perhaps Itrapped should spend time with his friends instead of Chance. 

 

Right, the gambler... Itrapped sighed. The money, you do it for money... 

 

 

"Isaac!!!" A little boy ran towards Itrapped which almost made him drop the camera. "Ah! I'm sorry!" He has a yellow skin like Itrapped, a noob race.

 

"It's okay- jeez stop running like that..." Itrapped recover the camera, taking a look if there's a damage. 

"Aweee, who's the kid?" 007n7 asked, bending over to pat the child. 

 

"My little brother." Itrapped introduced the child to 1x and 007n7. "His name is.... Well, Noob."

 

"I can see that by the username." 1x feels bad for the child named noob. "Can't he hide his username?"

"Unfortunately nope, he's a NPC thanks a lot to my dad. Nobody name their children Noob before and my parents thought 'oh why not name the child Noob?' and looks what we got here." Itrapped sighed before picking up Noob. "Now little one, why were you alone? Let's find mom." Itrapped shifted his full attention to Noob, forgetting the fact he was supposed to take a group picture. 

 

 

The brothers left the scene, Caleb and Ellernate still on full conversation as Ellernate try to convince Caleb that he is not gay. 

 

 

"... Well we can ask Itrapped for the picture later." 1x shrugged, "Let's go to our seat."

Everyone is having the time of their life. Some cried because they're parting, some cheered that they finally done with college and some started to calculate which job they would work at. 

 

1x was suffocated because they're an honor student which made Doombringer hug them tightly. 

 

 

Noli, Itrapped, Ellernate, 1x and 007n7 are honors student. Nobody know how Itrapped is one of the honors student- but it is what it is. 

 

 

"Haha! My beloved student made me so proud!" Doombringer laughed as he aggressively patted 1x back. "Five years... you really did well!" 

"Thanks to you sir..." 

 

"Your speech became better too, that's a big improvement after years." Said the admin, "You also never wish for anything. Well, making l the wish now last today so make a wish!"

 

"Wish?" 1x remember the time they won the tournament. Right, I still don't have anything to wish.. except... 1x is thinking on asking Doombringer about John and Jane Doe but 007n7 claimed the man never answer him. "... ... Just protect me and N when the time comes." 

 

"Woah, am I going to be a godfather?" Doombringer shed a tear, "I'm so honoured..."

 

 

1x have no idea how the hell he misunderstood their words. They guessed because Doombringer is thinking 1x and 007n7 would form a family. Honestly 1x doesn't mind but they're not sure if it's biological possible. 

Telamon Shedletsky made 1x out of his hatred but 1x would never get rid of their negative emotions just to create a life.

Of course 1x know but they often to hide that fact from 007n7, they can't have him leave them to care for Noli. 

 

007n7 used to said he don't want to be like his parents who had abandoned him. Noli use that excuse for 007n7 to come back, it almost convinced him—

1x had to interfered even if it meant they need to lie. Lied that Noli is mentally unstable, lied about Noli is a threat... 

 

Itrapped and Caleb helped 1x to made it believable (of course with payment which 1x was very understanding)

 

They just want to protect 007n7...

 

 

 

"No, haven't seen him." 1x faked a smile as they quickly change the topic., "Ah right, sir. I'll be working with you starting next month, yes?" 

"Of course! Student with full scholarship, you'll be helping me ban hackers. Of course not many hackers nowadays but still will get paycheck." Doombringer wink as he smirks. "Oh, I should greet my other students. I'll see you soon, young X!" Doombringer wave as he walks to other student.

 

 

 

"He finally left." Itrapped almost make 1x flinch. "Oops, my bad. I'm trying to avoid that hug, can't afford my beautiful bones ache." 

"That's stupid." 1x bluntly said, "Where's the photo."

 

"I'll give you tonight. Your boyfriend gave me the address to your house so by then the photo is done." Itrapped chuckles. "Ah right, I'm going to do something crazy this April. Are you on?"

 

"No." 1x replied, shifted their eyes away as they now looking for 007n7.

 

"Well I expected that answer." Itrapped sighed, "You drink alcohol?"

"What now?"

 

"Fun drinks! Jeez, girl. Where have you been living? Prison??" Itrapped joked, "Come on, you two live together and still never did it?" 1x reaction tells Itrapped everything. "My god, you guys are more innocent than I thought!" 

 

"Lower your voice, you're embarrassing me..."

 

"Lady, I'm just saying." Itrapped try to contain his laugher, "Do you two have protection or... Maybe not, I don't think so." Itrapped shrugged, "Unless you two want kids." 

"Oh my—, Itrapped , shut the f### up..." 1x groan as they're now embarrassed, they do read this things in book but never go far to that details. 

 

"Chill, I'll bring some nice drinks tonight and well protection just in case. Won't stay long, I have dinner with my family." Itrapped smiles, "or maybe you two want to wait until marriage—"

 

 

With that 1x run off. They definitely need to toughen up but the topic made them even more uncomfortable because they kinda like the idea but doesn't know ways to approach 007n7 about it. 

 

 

"Uh, before marriage then?" Itrapped shrugged off that 1x left. One thing Itrapped like being friend with 1x that they're not clingy unlike Chance.

"Haha! Good and I'm not going to let go of you in anytime soon." E7 gave a cheeky smile, his eyes hold fondness and pride for 007n7. "I definitely will brag about this to my coworkers."

"Don't, I'm embarrassed already that you show them my baby pictures..."

 

"I just want to let people know you're my pride and joy." E7 chuckles. "Ah right, are you visiting? I'll make your favorite!"

"Nah, I'm planning to celebrate with X." 007n7 laughed nervously, awkwardly let go of the hug. "But I'll visit you tomorrow."

 

"Neat. I can buy some stuffs to cook for tomorrow." E7 ruffles his little cousin hair. "Talking about X, I wonder where are they right now."

 

"Probably greeting some teachers."

 

"I'm here."

The manager turn around, rummaging through the box and pulled out a burger hat. "I don't have much but take this."

 

"Oh." 007n7 slightly raised and eyebrow before taking it. He don't expect much gift anyway but this burger hat somehow look funnier than it should be. Even the spider Noob on his head seems to like it. "I like it... Thank you again." 007n7 couldn't help but to chuckles, "It seems like I can match with my cousin now. He always wear a hat.

"Glad to hear." The manages smiles, "Where will you work after this?"

 

"Coding at a department where they fix bugs." 007n7 claimed, "Guess whenever you file a complain about bugs, this place will be my top priority."

 

"Haha, I'll take your words for it! Oh, take this free meal. Take care of yourself!" 

"Alright sir, goodbye." 007n7 waved as he heads out from the office. 

 

 

 

If he was still a hacker, this hat could be useful for him to hide the c00lgui chip. Of course he's not anymore. Nevertheless, he decides to wear it anyway.

 

"X, look at this hat. Spider Noob find it very comfortable too."

"What's with that expression..."

 

"Just had the feelings that people will called you burger guy." 1x joked, "It looks good. Guess I should find something to wear on the hat to match you."

"Burger guy...? Hopefully not." 007n7 rolled his eyes playfully, "You said you had a crown, right?"

 

"Anything but that." 1x let out a small huff. "Ah right , I am thinking of few places that people said they saw Jane wandered around..."

"Let's go there then." 007n7 took 1x hand, "Come on, we're in this together."

 

"Heh, I know." They planted a kiss on his forehead, "Tell me if you're tired, I'll carry you."

Itrapped arrived at the given address. His little brother insisted on coming but got distracted by his best friend, a guest. It seem like 1x and 007n7 still isn't home so Itrapped put the bottle of wine and the finished result of the photo he took in front of the door. 

 

This rural land is beautiful especially the house on the middle and garden and farm between them. He thought 1x and 007n7 is some poor classes but now he thought them as middle class.  

 

He look at the variant of flowers, picking a few as he thought of his mother. He don't mind the dirt, his brother often to run around his room with dirty feet. He should teach his brother some manner soon. "I'm sure those two don't mind." He mumbles but decided to leave a note anyway as he finished picking the flowers he needed.

 

 

Just as he about to leave, he noticed silhouette up on the sky. He thought it was 1x until he realized the figure is smaller than his friend. 

 

 

"...?" Itrapped raised an eyebrow, it's 2x2 with a big fish. "What is the world ex admins son doing here..." Itrapped muttered to himself but it's not his business, he turn around to leave. Right, not my business. He thought as 1x often to turn blind eyes to his weird business so Itrapped did the same. 

 

Though he couldn't shake off the feeling those two might be related in some way... He guessed he have to tell his friends about this, maybe they'll say he is being stupid.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile 2x2 not noticing the presence slowly leaving the area. He was proud of himself for catching a big fish to celebrate. He noticed a wine of bottle in front of the door, there's a note written 'thanks me later'. Then a picture of 1x and 007n7 in graduation robes, posing together.

 

So he thought someone sent this for either 007n7 or 1x. 2x2 don't have friends except for those two, well his mom is counted as his friend too- Brighteyes never visit 1x because 1x requested it specifically that they want nothing to do with Brighteyes or Shedletsky. 

 

2x2 a bit disappointed since Brighteyes looks like she missed them but respected 1x request. After all, he can't force a relationship.

 

He entered the house with the key 007n7 gave, placing the fish on the table. 1x forbid 2x2 to use the kitchen for safety (and because he's bad at cooking) so 2x2 waited for the two of them to get home. Meanwhile that, he went to living room and turn on the news. 

 

Just some news about events happening today until a name caught 2x2 attention. 

 

 

Noli. 

 

 

007n7 said Noli was his roommate. He never thought he's a hacker and tonight on live, he was banned. 

 

"Oh-uh..." 2x2 didn't know Noli was a hacker, no wonder 007n7 wanted to moved out. "Is that... Void star? How did he got that..." 

 

 

The front door clicked as 007n7 and 1x finally home. "Oh, 2x? Are you watching news?"

"Yeah... Well the news was boring." He quickly changed to another channel, saving 007n7 from the stress. "I caught a large fish today."

 

"How did you managed to carried it all the way to here..." 1x stare at the large fish, it's the same size as 2x2. 

 

"I'm not that weak you know!" 2x2 pouted. "Oh right, someone left a wine and picture of you two."

 

"Must be Itrapped." 007n7 smiles, "Why don't you help out preparing the table while I'll go help X with the cooking."

A familiar voice calling them out. 1x look around, trying to find the source of the sound.

What felt like a hand brushed over their back. The hands slowly rised and closed their eyes. 1x couldn't see anything, they don't feel like removing the hand after a breath tingles their neck.

 

As the hands removed itself from 1x view, they realized they're now in a bed.

007n7 not wearing anything and so is 1x. His hands reach 1x face, pulling them closer. He calls them gorgeous, mesmerizing and every praise that turn them on.

1x hands are trembling for a moment before giving in to the whispers. 007n7 skin is soft as 1x dig in with their teeth, sounds that 1x never thought they'll hear it from him.

 

God— how much they love him. Every simple details about the man made 1x heart burst.

1x woke up from their sleep, feeling groggy. Took them for a while to fully awake, realizing it was a dream. 

 

Oh fuck. They cursed mentally, eyes fell on 007n7 figure who is sleeping. It's five in the morning, what a weird way to start the day.

"I got a dream about uh... ..." They clear up their throat. "I need help."

"No?!" 1x deadpanned, "I want to marry him first— Then okay maybe you can give me those."

After so many thoughts, they wanted to propose to him but couldn't find anything within the budget. Somehow they told this to Itrapped and he suggested going to casino...

They remember two years ago, Itrapped came to class late for the first time. Not like his usual character, he never tell anyone except for 1x because unlike his other friends. 1x back then really don't care so it saved Itrapped from more stress.

007n7 drinks his coffee while the spider noob eats Kopiko. 1x was in rush this morning which weirded him out but he decided not to question it. 

 

Maybe they found clues or something. 007n7 thought as he walks through the halls, heading back to his table. Fixing bugs is much funnier than he thought because he'll find the most ridiculous things to fix such as NPC became bald after being hit or a floating book.

 

 

"Oh, are you fixing that glitch?" A voice startled 007n7, "Oops! My bad...." They have an odd hat with antlers of reindeer, seems handmade. They look a bit sickly for some reason too.

007n7 huffed, keeping his composed. "It's fine..." He laughed it off before saying yes to the question. "It's one of those brainrot games."

 

"Oh those." They rolled their eyes, "It's okay, you can actually ignore those request. The supervisor doesn't care about those so we're not responsible really."

"Ah- sorry I didn't know..." 007n7 sighed out of relief, "I don't think I can stand another one of those ai brainrot."

 

"Good to know I saved you from losing your sanity." They smiles as they're offering a handshake, "My name is 226w6." 

"I'm 007n7." He accepted the hand. "Are you from this department too?"

He then felt his neck was brushed by someone's hair. "Are you looking for someone?" The ex admin, Shedletsky asked him.

 

 007n7 stood there awkwardly, trying to not make it obvious how fast his heartbeat was. The bastard that hurt X... He is not scared, he is angry that he couldn't punch the admin right now. 

 

He forced the biggest smile he could give to the admin to buy it. "Ah, just waiting for my spouse. It seems like they're not going to be here anytime soon." 

 

"Ah, I can help you with that. I can type their username and find their location if you want." Shedletsky offers. 

"Oh no... They're an NPC..." He lied to the admin's face. "Don't worry, sir Shedletsky. I can find my spouse all by myself..."

 

 

Shedletsky seems to buy it as 007n7 didn't let a sweat slip from his chin. With that, 007n7 hurriedly tried to exit until Shedletsky grabbed his arm, sniffing it. God— 007n7 can't lie but he finally found out where 1x and 2x2 got their habit on sniffing someone.

"You have a peculiar scent." Said the admin, still not letting 007n7 arm. 

 

"Really now sir...? Wow I didn't know that." 007n7 nervously laugh before pulling his arm by force. "I really have to go now." He didn't wait for Shedletsky to say anything, he just walk out from the office. 

 

 

 

 

007n7 finally left the building but what is Shedletsky doing here? Maybe for work?, he thought to himself. Now he is worried because he can't find 1x and Shedletsky is probably in the same building as him.

 

He carefully take the spider noob off from his hand, planting a chip camera on its head. "Can you please spy on Shedletsky? I promise I'll give you reward after this." 007n7 give a tiny pat on the spider noob.

Shedletsky stood there in silence. He wonders why the man, 007n7 scent is mixed with something that similar to his child creation. He's probably overthink... ... He didn't notice Spider Noob was following him.

 

 

Shedletsky sighed before taking the elevator. He arrived shortly at Doombringer's office but he is nowhere to be seen. Ah right, Bringer is a teacher at morning, he should be here after lunch break right?

The office door rings as Doombringer entered. "Oh! Shed, you're here!"

"Don't mind it, I can call the cleaner." Said Doombringer as he went beside Shedletsky. "You're checking on the hackers?"

"Just curious." He claimed. "Say, how's banland going?"

 

He glanced at the paperwork Shedletsky's holding. Noli, once a student. He doesn't know what made Noli this way or he always had been like this, it's just some teachers didn't see it. "It was okay... Just someone trying to break out."

1x slowly let go of Itrapped, they're surprised by his confession. Itrapped face wet and he tried to cover it with his hair.

"Heh... Guess all those nagging from me really got to you." Itrapped faintly smile before looking at his phone. Chance seems worried by judging from his messages. "... I really wish I don't meet him this way. He's annoying..."

 

"Does he knows?"

"About the baby? Hell no... That was years ago anyway. Not that it matters anymore." Itrapped bit off his lip, "... ... He did know I'm female by biology when we started to sleep together. He bought those dresses as a joke but I hate it." 

 

Itrapped didn't directly say he hates it. Back then he was still thinking about money so he hold it back. Now he just feels numb, he wasn't supposed to feel like this towards Chance. 

 

"... ... Do I look like a woman to you?" He asked, "Like... Does my face scream I'm a girl and not a man?"

"You're a handsome man." 1x replied without hesitation. "You're a man, that's your decision and I respect it." 

 

Itrapped eyes widened. He let out a small laugh before smiling faintly, "You're weird, you know? From day one we met, you always questioned everything I do. Unlike my friends or family, they think I already ruined my life just because I made my own decision."

 

"I actually do think you are ruining your life." They said. "But your decision is yours only. As long you take responsibility on your actions..."

 

"I think I'll be getting a horrible consequences from this." Itrapped laughed dryly. "Ugh... How am I supposed to face Chance after this. He's going to think I'm some emotional—"

 

"If he did, he would berated you by now." They said before Itrapped can self loath himself, "He loves you, I can see that from his eyes. If you don't like those jokes, talk to him." 

"... Argh... Damn, I'm being lectured from the poor." Itrapped smiles.

 

"I will do it again." 1x huffed as they pulled Itrapped into a hug. "N told me communication fix everything."

 007n7 yells startled both Itrapped and 1x which caused them to fell from the tree.

"I dressed her up because she look ridiculous." Itrapped groaned, still feeling the pain from the fall. "How did you find us here?"

"Uhm..." 1x and Itrapped look at each other, they really don't want to tell him that they went on casino.

With that, Noli disappeared in a blink of an eye. Itrapped feet gave up and he dropped to the grass. 

 

 

"What a crazy day..." He can't believe he actually show 1x his true self. Not even Ellernate or Caleb see that. "..." He glanced at the messages from his phone, he decided to ignore those. "Really... Crazy day."

007n7 sat on the cough, looking through the data spider noob managed to get. He is being careful not to alert 1x in the kitchen. He doesn't know if he should tell them or not...

He sighed as he leans against the office chair. He was planning to destroy the c00lgui but without it, he can't protect 1x. The man decided to be careful and use it when he must. Not to exploit but to protect because the admins would never do that to the sinners.

 

 

007n7 ear perked to the sound of coughing. He went to find the who cause such sounds and was a bit startled to see 226w6 is coughing up blood. 

 

"Six? Are you—" 

"Yes— I am okay." They sighed, "Ah... I don't have much time left." 

 

"Don't say it like that." 007n7 frown slightly, taking out a handkerchief before handing it to 226w6 to wipe the bloods from their mouth. "We still haven't hang out that much, don't just go and meet God." 

 

226w6 let out a small laugh before wiping the blood off their mouth with the said handkerchief.

 

"I'm not always this sick..." They sighed, "It just something wrong with something I am currently making... I'm not the best with coding so I think I messed up a little..."

"Maybe I can help?" The ex hacker offered before helping 226w6 get off from the floor. "I'm good at analyzing data, maybe I can check if there's an error code?"

 

"That would be much appreciated..." 226w6 smiles weakly, "Truth to be told, I only work here because I'm trying to get the access to codes that filled with positive. I am planning to create a beautiful soul that can spread peace and love... ..."

 

 

 

007n7 blinked at the information, was he supposed to know this? He barely know 226w6 and this sudden information is like a dad dropping off their lore out of nowhere.

 

 

"That's a beautiful dream but it clearly it's destroying your health." 007n7 replied. "Are you trying to build an AI?"

"Oh, no no... Not AI. I want to create a living being, that can think for themself. Not AI... They're soulless.."

 

"... I get that." 007n7 nodded. "Alright... I want to help. I'll see what I can do."

"Really...? Thank you." 226w6 couldn't help but smiles, "I didn't exactly finish the thing, I don't know where to start so..."

007n7 ended up with the pink panel. 226w6 already went home which the same as 007n7 who is back to his house. 1x probably have to work overtime due to some lower rank hackers and even some of c00lkidd members trying to continue that legacy. Yeah, 007n7 wants both to do with it.

 

He placed the panel on the table. Just as he thought he was going to kitchen to make some tea, Noli is in front of him.

 

"GOD—" The ex hacker yelped and backed away. "What are you even doing in my house?! No, HOW DID YOU GET IN???"

"¢æn't be h@ppy to see YOUR [best friend?]" The rotten one step closer, "I m¡ssed ¥ou s0 mUch."

 

"I don't now get out." 

"[you] CHANGED. Th-This all b€¢@Us€ 0f thât [v-v-virus]." Noli frown beneath his mask. "WE @®€ [supposed] t0 D0 ē√e®the¡ng t-t-t-together." His voice sounded more glitchy as he is frustrated. He takes step forwards, cornering 007n7. "You— SAID ¥0U w0UlDnt @bândœn [ME] like y0ur Pærents... You lied."

 

As 007n7 realized he's in the end of the hall already, he swallowed his breath. "I didn't lied." 007n7 sighed, "I already told you I don't want to do this anymore. I didn't ask you to even continue this!" Said the ex exploiter.

 

"[L-L-LIAR]" 007n7 was shoved harshly against the wall, pinned against his will. "The [void] star—"

"I didn't make you take it." 007n7 narrowed his eyes, wondering if the void star is messing with Noli's memory. "We found it but I didn't make you get it because X called me that time, begging me to go home because my cousin was working late!"  

 

 

The grip tightened on his shoulder, before 007n7 could react. Noli throw him on the ground before stepping on 007n7 chest. 

 

 

"Ugh— Snap out of it Noli! The void star isn't doing you any good!" 007n7 still try to reason with his friend, "L-Let's just get you help from admins. They can help—"

"You've [grown] pathetic... But th@t okay... I [will] help."

 

 

007n7 expression grew pale. He doesn't know what Noli will do but that Void Star changed his friend this much. He can't afford to show any hint of longing anymore. 007n7 then pushed Noli leg aside, getting up immediately before activating the c00lgui panel. 

007n7 tried to run out from the house but his hair was grabbed by Noli before being thrown into some framed pictures.

 

 

"[You] ®earl¥ n€€d to çUt ¥OU® hair... [Wouldn't] W@nt t0 h@ve some men TAKE y0U again." 

 

 

007n7 groaned from the pain, a bit shocked. More like scared of that horrible memories. He wanted to puke, it have been so long he finally forget it. 

Of course Noli had to bring it up.

 

007n7 pulled out a weapon from the c00lgui. He immediately pulled the trigger before Noli can approach any further. 

The bullet didn't do anything to Noli but it did stop him from moving forward.

 

 

"[You] hurt me."

"You're acting just like those people." 007n7 breath hitched, "I told you because I trusted you. You were my best friend and you decided to use that fucking piece of trauma against me just because we're not longer in the same path."

 

Noli did take a step to him but 007n7 wasn't hesitate to pull the trigger again.

That's just tell how much 007n7 don't want anything to do with Noli again.

 

 

"Leave."

"... [you] w¡ll r€gr€t th!s. I'll [prove] it." Noli threw off harsh reminder what 007n7 abandoned just to live a normal life with 1x. "Y0U w¡ll ©0m€ [crawling] b@ck to me."

 

 

... Noli finally left, giving 007n7 a room to breath. The ex hacker groaned from the pain but all he thinks how he need to explain to 1x why the house in such mess...?

No... He can't afford 1x to find out what Noli did, knowing 1x... They would do something reckless just to get back at Noli. 007n7 can't afford that— the admins. He can't let the admins find them... 

 

He need to clean up so 1x wouldn't know.

 

 

The phone beep, it was 1x. 007n7 read the context and everything make sense now. Noli was banned but he's back. Somehow.

"You seems awfully excited lately. Tell me, young X. What is it?" Doombringer finally let his curiosity won and asked them. 

"Ah. I proposed to 007n7." They replied briefly, not wanting to go on that much personal detail. "He said yes."

 

 

"College sweetheart! I should've known when I see you two always together." Doombringer laughed, "Don't take your too long in your honeymoon, we have a lot of works to do... Because at this point I think you're the only one good at banning the hackers."

 

 

Because I can sense the cheat code... Privilege as a virus, I guess. 1x shrugged, grabbed their sword and put it right back to it sheath. 

1x take a look at the other information of the hacker, hand stopping as they found Noli 'banned.'

 

 

"What." 1x mumbles, "Noli... Was banned?"

"Noli? Yeah, he was found taking the void star after killing an admin for it." Doombringer grim at the details. "But other admins banned him for good... The news didn't really cover the full story." 

 

"I don't... I don't think I watch news when he got banned. When was it...?"

 

"The day of the graduation party..." Doombringer huffed. "Young X, you gotta pay more attention to news next time." The admin pat their shoulder, "You look a bit sick, is everything okay?"

"... Because I met Noli few days ago—" 1x claimed, "He- He is still here. Oh no, I don't think N know about this..." 1x mumbles, "I have to go now."

 

"Woah woah, hold on there. Noli was sent to banland, he can't get out of there." Doombringer sighed, "What if you met what an imposter? Noli own a cult apparently and his cult members scattered around as some admins found there base."

"I still have to go. I already worked overtime, sir. I am taking my leave."

 

"Kid, stop." Doombringer firmly grasp 1x shoulder. "There's supposedly to be one last job. Look, Shedletsky is planning to take out the dangerous virus 1x1x1x1. Builderman advice to get me to help, you should come with me as you are capable too—"

 

 

"...Wₕy...? Wₕy ᵢₛ ₛₕₑdₗₑₜₛₖy ₜᵣyᵢₙg ₜₒ ₖᵢₗₗ—" 1x have this urge to just yell. What is Doombringer even saying now, "didn't Telamon already banish the virus..?" They tried to play it off.

"No, that was just a lie to keep the robloxia in peace. I believe you won't tell a single soul." Doombringer sighed, "It only matter of time and now Shedletsky decided it would be the best he started."

 

"... ... I don't think I'll be able to do that. It's... Such an honor but I have long way to go..." They mumbles, "I am going home... N would nag me again if I'm late."

"Well, married life. Wished that applied the same as me." Doombringer decided to let it go for now.

 

 

 

1x entered the teleportation point, feeling sick. Why now? Just why when they finally feel happy and loved, things must go this way. 

If they just kill Shedletsky—

 

No... Don't, 007n7 would be worried sick.

"You think he will listen?" 1x questioned, "I was a child when he imprisoned me, he didn't even look back."

 

 

"... Then let's fake 1x1x1x1 death." 2x2 claimed, "If old man really want 1x1x1x1 the virus to be end. Then we'll end it." 

"I don't..."

 

"I'm going to seal away your power." Said the little boy, "Father gave away his divinity and planted it inside me when I was born. I can seal away your power and make it seems like you're gone forever but you'll still be here. Just a normal robloxian without power." 

"Why didn't you do that from the start???"

 

"Because I believe in you." 

"..." 

 

 

"I can create a fake version of you, like a clone but it will have you aura. Enough for father to believe." He explains.

"... I don't get it. The history said Telamon already sealed my power away with using that crown."

 

"And Telamon legacy ended the moment I was born thus everything he took from you is back." His foot began to tap on the ground, hand on his chin as he's making theory. "You never thought why you still broken code within yourself? How you are able to read so many datas? It's still in you but maybe you never realized it..."

 

 

Yeah... 1x really didn't. They can still see datas and invisible codes. Denial is just something 1x ever do to handle the trauma just because they can see codes when they were little. So nobody will hate them...

 

 

"... I'm not going to hurt you." 2x2 mumbles, "But sealing your power is the only way for all the admins to finally believe that you're truly gone."

"... Okay." 1x nodded, "Let's do this. I never wanted to live as just a virus..." 

 

 

"... I know." 2x2 smile sadly, "We need more help with this. Can Seven help—" 

"No." talking about 007n7, they hope he gets their text about Noli being banned.

 

"Okay we ask someone else... You know anyone? Mama can help us, if you like."

"Why do I feel like someone is talking behind my back." Itrapped mumbles, then Noob beat him up in mario game. "Oh— you lucky I feel nice today." 

"Blweh! I win again!!!" Noob laughed. "Isaac, can I invite my friend? You remember Sixer?"

 

"That guest with devil's numbers?" Itrapped slightly raised an eyebrow. "I don't know, our parents won't like that..."

"Oh come on! We're just going to play video games and he's super quiet too!"

 

"Because guests are mute." Itrapped flicked his little brother head. "Enough of games, time for dinner. Mom said she'll be home late so I'll heat up some leftovers from yesterday."

 

"She's always late." Noob grumbled, "Can we have dinner at your friend's house again? I like Miss X cooking."

"Nope. They're going to get married soon so their house gonna be super busy." 

 

 

Noob whine and began to throw a tantrum so as a good brother Itrapped is, he decided to take a spider and put it on top of Noob's head.

Anyway originally the chapter was supposed to be long. I already finished it yesterday but then when I got back from university, I missed the bus since I can't run due to my disability. Then I got robbed which my wallet and phone was taken away.

Yeah the phone have everything in there 🙂. All the stories. I wrote in notes, not documents because I have the feeling someone is stealing my essays whenever I use that drive. Yeah... So I wrote everything again from my memories. There's supposedly to be a cuddle scene but I'm not in the mood anymore.

I got a beta reader finally after long anxiety of making mistake <3. My teacher is the beta reader btw, she's 1xdoe shipper but she likes poisonburger too (my version) and I think she's talking break from 1xdoe ship because of a fic that really broke her heart to pieces.. anyway HI TEACHER!!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME <333

 

For couple of days. To 1x, 007n7 seems off. Always wear long sleeves and when they asked about it, 007n7 began to put on gloves saying it's cold. He acts like he's fine... 1x want to question it but it'll just make them a hypocrite as they're hiding their plan too. 

It irritated them but they must stay patient like how 007n7 stays when they were hurting... ... This is harder than they thought. 

 

 

 

 

 

It's nighttime, 1x already lay on the bed with 007n7 though the man is working on something. An odd looking pink panel. It have been there for couple of days too and 007n7 claimed his coworker asked for help. 

 

Feeling neglected that 007n7 focused on fixing the code, 1x placed their arms around the man's waist. "It's night, let's go to sleep."

"Just a moment, I still have couple of code to fix..." 007n7 mumbles, not looking up from the panel. It really is annoying so 1x sat up and pulled 007n7 to their lap. "Okay big baby, I got you I swear...." 007n7 huffed as he leans against their chest. "You seems anxious lately. Mind telling me?'

 

"And you seems nervous too lately."

 

"..." 007n7 raised an eyebrow at 1x avoidance of the topic. "... Just work."

"Me too..." 1x mumbles before kissing his cheek, "I haven't hug you for 4 hours......"

 

"Hmm that's good to know." He playfully scoffed, "2x2 is saying he's taking you out to fish soon. Seems like you're going to bond more than just having a beef." 

"Beef is delicious." They muttered, "... So what with the gloves? Did you get hurt? I promise I won't nag you... So just take it off and let it be taken care off instead of hiding it."

 

"I already said I am cold." He tensed slightly but still not answering. "... Sorry, I don't know what came over me. I shouldn't use that tone—"

"Nonono it's fine." 1x immediately cut him over, pulling him even closer as they hug 007n7 from the behind. "I've must been very annoying." 

 

"Guess we both are wrong?" 007n7 smiles slightly, decided to change the topic as he don't want to cause a rift to happen between them. "Hey, look at this panel. Very pretty, right?"

 

"It have cute data." 1x read the numbers that were added. "Peacemaker? What are you making for your coworker exactly?"

"I don't know." He hummed as he type couple of code. "It just something... Well not AI." 007n7 can't believe 226w6 words finally got into him. 

 

1x titled their head as they rest their chin on 007n7 shoulder. Their hand reach 007n7 hand, "You missed something." They mumbles, fingers typing on the panel. 

"... Seriously you're a genius." The man huffed, finally realized where's the error.

 

"I just happen to be able to read the numbers easily." 1x then pulled away the panel and placed it on the night table. "Let's sleep." 1x then wrapped 007n7 with a blanket. 

"You got me there..." 007n7 huffed, "I can't sleep yet."

 

"Hm... Well tomorrow I'm going to invite Itrapped to our house I want to tell him everything..."

".. are you sure?" 

 

"Yep. I trust him." 1x smiles, but 007n7 didn't. They can sense he is growing anxious. "... Do you want to talk about wedding preparation then?" 1x asked, trying to change the topic. "I already told your cousin about it and he asked if we have a plan for it..."

"We don't have a plan.... Yet." 007n7 look at the calendar, then take his laptop from under the bed. "Well we can make a plan now."

 

"I call dibs on pants." 

"You know we both can wear pants to wedding." 007n7 pinched 1x nose. "Look, it's just some drawings since nobody make it just yet. Quite nice, right?"

 

"I'm good at sewing." 1x smiles, liking the design. "Though I shouldn't wear white. My hair already..." They thought of looking like a literal decoration if they fully wears white.

"How about other colours? Weddings doesn't always mean white and black. We could go with gold, maybe blue or your favorite color."

 

1x’s eyes softened as they brushed their thumb across 007n7’s hand. “Blue would suit you… but gold sounds noble too. Maybe both? You in gold, me in blue. Balance.”

“Balance?” 007n7 tilted his head, amused. “You just don’t want me stealing all the attention.” he scoffed playfully.

 

“You already do without even trying.” 1x rolled their eyes, but their voice betrayed the warmth beneath the sarcasm. “So let me have my color.”

007n7 chuckled, scribbling a quick note in his laptop. “Fine, fineee. Blue for you. Gold for me. But what about the place? We can’t just… get married in the courthouse.”

 

“The courthouse has good light.” 1x teased, leaning lazily against his shoulder. “But… maybe somewhere quiet. I don’t want too many people. Just family and friends. Close one.”

“That would be nice,” 007n7 murmured. His smile faltered for a moment, but he quickly masked it, typing again. “Do you want something outdoors? Garden, seaside, forest? Or indoors, like a hall?”

 

“Outdoors,” 1x answered almost instantly. “I want the air to feel real. Not stuffy. Maybe… near the lake? The one you always say you used to visit with your cousin.”

 

007n7 paused at that, fingers hovering over the keys. “That place is… old. But maybe it’s perfect.” He nodded slowly, then leaned back against 1x again. “You always find ways to make old things feel new.”

 1x countered gently, kissing his temple before 007n7 could protest. “So, a lake, small crowd. What else do we need?”

 

“Rings carrier.”

 

1x blinked. “Oh. Right. Those are kind of important.”

007n7 smirked. “Kind of?”

 

“Well, if I tie a ribbon around your finger, it still counts, doesn’t it?”

“No,” 007n7 deadpanned, though his lips were twitching. “You’re not marrying me with ribbon. I have standards.” he huffed, "2x2 can be the one who carry the rings."

 

1x laughed, muffled against his chest. “We could go with Itrapped little brother. He's a sweet kid.”

“You said that only because Noob is good at pranking people.”

 

The two of them shared a quiet laugh, the tension of earlier melting away into the warmth between them.

 

Then, softer, almost hesitant, 007n7 asked, “Do you really… want this? With me? Even if things get difficult?”

1x met his gaze, unwavering. “Of course. I already decided, didn’t I? You’re the only one I’d be patient enough to argue what should we eat for lunch.”

007n7 finally allowed himself a full smile, the kind that reached his tired eyes. He closed the laptop and set it aside. “Then… I guess we really have a plan"

 

1x tugged the blanket higher over them both, settling back down. “A plan, then.” Their voice was soft but steady, as if saying it aloud made everything more real.

 

 

007n7 let himself melt into their warmth, though his hand unconsciously tightened around the edge of the blanket. The memory of Noli’s voice, sharp and accusing from few days ago, clawed at the back of his mind. He pushed it down. Now wasn’t the time.

 

 

“You’re thinking too much again,” 1x murmured, resting their chin on his shoulder. “I can hear it.”

“I’m just… tired.” 007n7 offered a small smile, forcing his voice to stay light. “Planning weddings is exhausting.”

 

“Liar,” 1x whispered, but not accusingly—more like they were teasing the truth out of him without pushing too hard. They kissed the corner of his jaw, then added, “... ...Even if you don’t tell me, I’ll stay right here until you’re ready...” since they're also keeping a secret from him.

 

 

That hit deeper than he expected. For a long moment, 007n7 stayed quiet, the words he wanted to say—about Noli breaking in, about the argument that left him shaken—stuck in his throat. He could almost see the storm that would follow if he confessed, how 1x’s anger would burn too bright, too dangerous. No. Not tonight.

 

 

“…Then stay,” he finally murmured, wrapping his arms around them in return. “That’s all I need.”

“Always.” 1x’s reply was immediate, without hesitation.

 

 

The room fell into a comforting silence, broken only by the faint hum of the night outside. 1x’s breathing slowed against his chest, steady and calm, like an anchor dragging him away from the thoughts that threatened to unravel him.

 

 

007n7 closed his eyes, brushing a hand over 1x’s hair. “soft colours,” he whispered, more to himself than to them. “By the lake. With you.”

1x, already half-asleep, hummed in agreement and tightened their hold. “Mm. Don’t forget the vows.”

 

He chuckled softly, though his chest ached with the weight of secrets left unsaid. Still, he pressed a kiss to their forehead, letting the warmth of their embrace be enough for now.

 

“Goodnight,” he whispered.

 

And for the first time since the argument with Noli, the tension in his shoulders eased—if only for the night.

"This is a very dangerous request." Itrapped sighed, raising an eyebrow at 1x as he is waiting for explanation. "Why in the world are you asking me to cause a commotion?" He whispered, careful as 2x2 is near both of them. "I thought you called me to hangout and chill..."

"We can do that later." 1x huffed, not sure how to say the truth without making in awkward. "Well- so like... ..." 

 

 

"I'm back with the tea and some refreshments." 007n7 entered the living room with the tray. "Kid, would you be kind and fetch me the sugar cubes?"

"Alright." 2x2 get off from the ground. "Brother, you should really tell him the truth quickly."

 

"Brother what now?" Itrapped glanced to look at 1x. "So like, are you some sort of illegitimate daughter? Is this like those novel plot???"

007n7 slightly chuckles, he didn't sit down just yet. "Well it's nice that X trusted you... Anyway... This 'hybrid' right here is actually the virus.... 1x1x1x1 that said was banished by Telamon."

 

“Virus?” Itrapped froze, teacup halfway to his lips. "Isn't Telamon dead..? Hold on..." He looked between 1x and 007n7 like he’d just been told the sky wasn’t blue anymore. “…That’s not funny. You’re joking, right?”

1x sighed, dragging a hand down their face. “Do I look like I’m joking?”

 

“…Honestly, yeah. You always look like you’re either about to start a prank or commit murder.”

2x2 stomped back in with the sugar cubes, glaring. “It’s true! And it’s not funny, so stop laughing.”

 

Itrapped squinted at him, then at 1x again. “…So what, you’re telling me the same monster that Telamon banished is sitting in front of me eating biscuits?”

007n7 placed the tray on the table, finally sitting with a soft huff. “Not a monster. Not anymore.” His tone was sharper than usual, protective in a way that made Itrapped blink. “If you’re going to stay, you’d better understand that first.”

 

Itrapped leaned back, crossing his arms. “Well, excuse me, Mister Protective Fiance. I’m just trying to process the fact that I’m drinking tea with literal history’s biggest threat.”

 

“I don’t want to be that anymore.” 1x’s voice was quieter this time, steadier, but the weight behind it made the room fall silent. He glanced at 007n7, wondering if it's okay to tell right here. "I—"

007n7’s phone buzzed loudly on the table, cutting through the moment. He glanced at the screen, frowning. “Ah, this is from work… urgent. Damn.” He stood, already slipping his jacket on. “don't forget to clean up while I’m gone. I’ll be back before dinner.”

 

 

Before 1x could answer, he leaned down, kissed the top of their head briefly, and left with hurried steps, the door shutting behind him.

The silence that followed was almost suffocating.

 

 

“…so what were you saying again?" Itrapped finally broke it, raising a brow.

 

1x’s gaze stayed fixed on the door. "I called you here. I need your help… to make me disappear.”

The words hung heavy, broken only by 2x2 placing the sugar cubes down a little too hard. “…It’s the only way Telamon will stop.”

 

Itrapped looked between them, his usual joking expression faltering. “…Disappear, as in…?” he muttered his question, "and Telamon is still alive...?"

 

“Yeah but I am not telling you who... Also, I seal the power,” 2x2 said, determined. “We fake their death. We trick Telamon, the admins, everyone. If they believe the virus is gone, maybe they’ll stop hunting.”

 

“And you want me,” Itrapped pointed at himself, “to stir up a commotion big enough to sell this scam? While you—” he gestured vaguely to 1x, “—play dead?”

 

Both of the siblings nodded.

 

Itrapped stared, then let out a long sigh, dragging a hand through his hair. “…You people are insane. Totally, absolutely insane.” He glanced at 1x again, this time softer. “…But you’re serious, huh?”

1x nodded. “I don’t want to run anymore.”

 

"... Well, you helped me a lot anyway." A beat of silence passed, then Itrapped chuckled, shaking his head. “Alright. Fine. But when this blows up in our faces, I’m haunting you from the afterlife.”

 

“You’d make a terrible ghost,” 1x muttered, hiding a faint smirk.

“Better than being a fake corpse.”

 

 

Despite the tension, 1x couldn’t help but snort, though their chest felt heavy. This was only the beginning, and they all knew it.

 

 

Itrapped leaned back, folding his arms. “So that’s why I’m here, huh? You want me to cover for you while you play this little game of fake-your-death?”

1x turned to face him, eyes sharper now. “Not a game. A necessity. If the admins don’t believe I’m gone, they’ll keep coming. And 007n7… he’ll get caught in it too.”

 

For a moment, Itrapped studied them—no jokes, no smirk, just searching their expression. Then he exhaled, dragging a hand through his hair. “…Alright. What kind of distraction you need from me?”

1x finally allowed themself to breathe. “A distraction. Something big enough to draw every admin’s eyes away, long enough for 2x2 to finish the seal and for the clone to take shape.”

Itrapped leaned back in his chair, arms behind his head, looking far too casual. “Big prank. Huge. Something the admins can’t ignore. A little panic, a little chaos—then poof, we undo it. Everyone laughs, and we go down as legends.”

Caleb practically lit up, leaning forward with that sharp grin of his. “Now we’re talking. Finally, something with teeth. Forget petty scams—let’s shake the entire economy. Mess with Robux, mess with trades, make every player think their account’s broken!”

 

Ellernate’s eyes narrowed. “No. Absolutely not. This panel isn’t a toy. Twister gave it to me for harmless tricks, not to—”

“Relax.” Itrapped raised a hand, smiling faintly. “I’m not saying we burn the place down. Just… tilt it a little. You’ve been sitting on that panel forever. Why not actually use it for once?”

 

“Because I don’t want it traced back to us.”

 

Caleb snorted. “Please. The admins can’t catch us if they can’t even figure out where the virus is coming from.” He gave Itrapped a look, already caught up in the rush. “What’s the move? Fake broadcasts? Crash the marketplace? Teleport everyone into one server and watch it implode?”

 

Itrapped tapped his finger on the table, eyes half-lidded. “A mix. We send out a system-wide broadcast—something ominous. Say the virus has returned.” His tone was mocking, but there was steel under it. “While they’re panicking, we nudge the economy—just enough to throw everyone off balance. Nothing permanent. Think of it like… rearranging furniture in someone else’s house.”

 

Caleb burst into laughter. “That’s brilliant. Total chaos. I love it.”

Ellernate still looked uneasy. “And what happens when they start digging? When they realize this wasn’t just some glitch?”

 

“We’ll be ghosts by then.” Itrapped gave him a pointed look. “Come on, El. You’re the mastermind type, right? Don’t tell me you’ve never wanted to see how far this panel can really go.”

 

Ellernate hesitated. His fingers drummed on the armrest, jaw tight. With a sigh, he agreed but set of a condition “…We’ll trip alarms, but nothing permanent, got it?” 

“Of course.” Itrapped’s smile sharpened just a little. “No harm done. Just a memory everyone will talk about for years.”

 

Inside, though, his stomach twisted. He wasn’t doing this for laughs or glory. He was doing it because somewhere else, someone he cared about needed space to vanish.

And if he had to tear the world sideways for a while to give them that chance, so be it.

Itrapped smirked faintly. “What, I can’t have ambition now?”

 

“Don’t play with me.” Ellernate’s tone was flat, not angry, just sharp. “Something’s different. You’re acting like there’s more on the line than just laughs.”

Itrapped shrugged, eyes drifting away. “Maybe I’m just bored. Or maybe I’m sick of little tricks nobody remembers. If we’re going to make noise, let’s make real noise.”

 

Ellernate tilted his head, not convinced. “Fine. But answer me this, why the virus? Out of all the things you could’ve faked— meteors, blackouts, broken textures— you went with that. Where’d the idea come from?”

 

 

For the briefest moment, Itrapped froze. His chest tightened with the memory of 1x’s quiet voice, the plea in their eyes.

 

 

“…What, can’t I pick a scary story?” he finally said, brushing it off with a lopsided grin. “Kids have been whispering about the myth for years. Nothing grabs attention faster than an old ghost... at least that way the admins won't suspect bunch of friends. They'll be stupidly asking how did the myth cause all this.”

 

 

Ellernate studied him a moment longer, searching for cracks. But Itrapped’s face was unreadable— too practiced, too guarded.

 

 

At last, Ellernate sighed, shoving his hands in his hoodie. “Fine. I’ll trust you. But if this gets out of control, it’s on your head, not mine.”

Itrapped clapped him on the shoulder with a grin that didn’t reach his eyes. “Relax, El. When have I ever let you down?”

 

Ellernate rolled his eyes, but the concern in his gaze lingered.

“They will kill my older sibling. Mom— You really going to let them?”

 

 

 

2x2 did try to convince Brighteyes but it was useless. So he had to do this act alone.

The chamber beyond was dim, the iron cage in its center like a monument to fear. The cage meant for 1x.

 

2x2’s throat tightened. His fingers brushed the bars as if to stall—but before he could gather his courage, the world shuddered.

 

A blaring noise erupted through the air like a system alarm gone wrong. Code flared across the chamber walls, red strings of corrupted text running wild. From nowhere, a distorted broadcast voice echoed across every admin channel at once,

 

 

• “THE VIRUS HAS RETURNED.”

 

 

Builderman jerked back. “What—?!”

Doombringer’s eyes narrowed, hand already moving to summon his weapon.

 

Even Shedletsky faltered, his grip on the room breaking as his focus shifted. “Impossible… that can’t be—”

"It must've use it ability when we opened the door of this room." 2x2 quickly gave excuses.

 

Another wave hit. A crash in the global economy grid. Robux values plummeted in real-time, trade systems locking up in a frenzy of fake items and broken data. Every admin panel nearby lit up with alerts, demands for immediate attention.

 

“Secure the servers!” Builderman barked, already stepping back. “If the virus is loose, we’ll have a riot across every servers!”

 

"Yes Boss." Doombringer sighed, it seems like all of them have to fix this soon.

“Stay here.” Shedletsky’s command was clipped, his divine aura flickering faintly. He shot a sharp look at 2x2. “Don’t open that cage without me.” And with that, he and the others vanished in a flash of code, called away by the crisis.

 

The chamber fell silent, save for 2x2’s trembling breath. His hand hovered above the empty cage.

 

 

“…Now or never.”

 

 

He closed his eyes, letting divine energy course through him. His small frame shook as the power gathered, forming strands of light and data that twisted together. Slowly, a shape emerged—familiar, heavy, carrying the exact aura of 1x.

 

A clone.

 

It slumped inside the cage, breathing like it was alive, its broken code shimmering faintly in the dark. To anyone who returned, it would look like the virus awaiting execution.

 

2x2 fell to one knee, drained, sweat dripping down his temple. But he forced himself to stand, gripping the bars. “ugh... that's a lot to do.” He never imaged that creating a clone out of virus is this tiring.

Ellernate wasn’t laughing. His hands hovered over the admin panel, teeth clenched. “This is too much, Isaac. You said a prank. This is practically sabotage—”

“Relax,” Itrapped said smoothly, though his own pulse hammered. He leaned against the desk, watching the chaos unfold with sharp eyes. “Admins will be busy for hours. Nobody’s looking at anything else.”

 

"I still don't get how... We're doing this on weekends too... Aren't you supposed to take care of Noob—"

“i just need you to babysit my little brother just for couple of hours....” 

“That’s first....” 007n7 glanced at Noob then Itrapped. “Alright but only because I'm planning to teach the boy to be ring carrier.”

 

 

“... and that’s how I got free babysitter.” Itrapped claimed, he hope Noob is doing his best to distracted 007n7 from looking at news or phone.

“Huh... okay then.” Ellernate sighed, why even bother to ask. Of course Itrapped will find a way or two to get free caretaker.

 

 

Caleb whooped. “We’re legends!”

Ellernate’s frown deepened. “We’re targets.”

 

 

 

 

Before the argument could stretch further, a ripple surged through the code around them. The air itself seemed to shift—admin presence sweeping closer.

 

 

“They’re coming,” Itrapped muttered. He snapped the panel shut and shot both of them a look. “Time to ghost. Now.”

 

With practiced ease, the trio melted into shadows of data, vanishing just as the admins blinked into existence at the edge of the system— Builderman barking orders, Doombringer’s aura searing hot, Shedletsky’s face a mask of fury as he demanded logs and traces. Some more admins arrived to repair what damaged and some try to delete those fake items off the market.

None of them noticed the three pranksters fading out, slipping away unseen.

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, back in the chamber, silence lingered. The fake 1x slumped in the cage, its aura convincing enough to fool even Shedletsky.

But hidden in the dark, the real 1x pressed a trembling hand against the wall, listening to their heartbeat thunder in their ears.

 

Sealed away. Just a normal robloxian.

1x staggered, gasping— the sudden absence nearly as overwhelming as the power itself. For years, it had whispered in the back of their mind, pulling at every thought, every step.

A silence so profound it made their chest ache with relief.

 

The last fragment of virus screamed as it was bound into the circle, compressed into a shard of broken data before vanishing into nothing. The golden script flared once, then dimmed, leaving only faint etchings in the floor.

Shedletsky entered first, his expression iron as ever, Builderman and Doombringer close behind. The golden etchings 2x2 had carved earlier still lingered faintly on the ground, but none of them noticed. Their eyes fixed only on the cage in the center of the room.

Inside, slumped against the cold bars, was the figure they all wanted to see—grey-haired, still as stone, corrupted aura leaking like smoke.

 

“…So this is the end of it,” Builderman muttered, his deep voice carrying both relief and unease. “After all these years… the virus is finally going to be execute.”

Doombringer narrowed his eyes, tilting his head as though testing the aura. “... ... Strange. Its presence feels… quieter. Dormant.” 

 

 

But can Doombringer really say that? He never once even visit the child. Does he truly remember them? He take a glance at the one inside the cage, he doesn't recognize it as clone but something about it reminded him a lot of...

 

 

“Doesn’t matter.” Shedletsky’s gaze lingered longest, something unreadable flickering in his eyes before he buried it. “We’ll make sure it never rises again.”

 

2x2 stood a little behind them, his small hands clenched at his sides. His heart pounded in his ears as he forced himself to stay calm. The clone he’d created held its form perfectly, threads of false aura woven into it so tightly that even Shedletsky couldn’t tell the difference.

“Good.” Itrapped shoved his hands into his pockets, glancing around to make sure they weren’t followed. “That’s what you wanted, right? Just to live without all that weight.”

 

“Yeah,” 1x whispered, lowering their gaze. “Thanks… for helping, even if you didn’t have to.”

 

“You done a lot for me. I'm merely returning the favor.” Itrapped shrugged, but there was a flicker of sincerity in his voice. “...You’re not the only one trying to keep someone safe.”

 

For a moment, they stood quietly, the chaos of the day finally settling into something like peace. But it didn’t last.

Both of them froze.

Itrapped didn’t flinch. “Someone had to.”

007n7’s jaw tightened, his hand curling into a fist at his side. He looked back at 1x, voice cracking between fury and hurt. “And you— why didn’t you tell me? Why did you trust him before me?”

 

1x’s chest tightened. They took a step forward, but the weight of his gaze kept them frozen. For the first time since the sealing, the silence inside them hurt more than the corruption ever did.

 

 

 

“Why, x?!” 007n7’s voice cracked through the alley, echoing harsher than he intended but he didn’t care. “what were you even do there— Do you even understand how reckless this was?!”

 

1x lowered their head, silent.

 

“You shut me out. Again.” He took a sharp step closer, his words tumbling too fast, too jagged to stop. “You let him—” he jabbed a finger at Itrapped, “—and his friends throw the whole system into chaos, all while you go off and—” His breath hitched. “And what? Risked yourself in some plans I wasn’t even there for?!”

 

Itrapped shifted, ready to bite back, but 1x raised a hand faintly, stopping him without a word. Their eyes never left 007n7.

 

“…You didn’t even give me the chance to stand with you,” 007n7 spat, his voice rough now, more hurt than rage. “Do you think I’m that weak? That useless? That you have to keep me in the dark just to protect me?”

 

1x shook their head slowly, still calm, still quiet. “No. You’re the strongest person I know.”

“Then why—” 007n7’s voice broke. His fists trembled at his sides. “Then why wouldn’t you let me carry this with you?”

 

Silence stretched. The only sound was the distant buzz of city lights.

Finally, 1x stepped forward, their movements careful, innocuous. “…Because I knew you’d fight for me. And if you fought… you’d get hurt. Or worse. Itrapped cleared his throat softly, scratching the back of his neck. “…Yeah, uh. This feels like couple’s business.” He gave 1x a quick nod, then slipped past them toward the street. “I’ll check on Noob. Don’t kill each other.”

 

Neither 1x nor 007n7 answered. They both just stood there, heavy silence settling the moment Itrapped’s footsteps faded away.

 

1x finally moved. They reached out, carefully, their hand brushing against 007n7’s clenched fist. “I’m here,” they whispered, “and I’m not going anywhere.”

1x’s chest ached. They tightened their hold, guiding his fist open, pressing his palm flat against their chest where the virus’ constant pulse had once been. Now, it was quiet. Just a heartbeat. Just them.

 

“See? It’s gone. I’m still me. Still here,” they murmured, eyes softened. “I don’t need to fight it anymore.”

“…You better tell me what the hell happened today now,” he whispered fiercely, his voice rough at the edges. “If you’re hurting, if you’re planning something— let me hurt with you. Let me be stupid with you. Don’t carry it all alone.”

1x leaned into him fully, their forehead pressing against his. “I promise,” they breathed. “No more secrets. Not from you.”

007n7 let out a shaky laugh that sounded more like a sob. “Idiot. You already hurt me. But…” His chin rested on their shoulder as he breathed them in, holding tighter. “…I’d rather be hurt like this than left behind.”

 

They stayed there for a while, swaying faintly in the silence of the alley. The world around them didn’t matter— only the warmth between their hands, the press of their bodies, the soft rhythm of two heartbeats that finally felt steady again.

 

Eventually, 007n7 pulled back just enough to look at them. His thumb brushed against their cheek, eyes still rimmed with exhaustion but gentler now. “…Your hair,” he murmured, noticing the white strands catching the dim light. “It’s beautiful. You… you look like yourself again.”

1x smiled faintly, tired but lighter. “Feels like myself again too.”

 

That was enough to unravel the last of 007n7’s anger. He pressed his forehead to theirs, closing his eyes. “Don’t leave me out anymore. That’s all I ask.”

Later, when they finally returned home, neither had the strength to speak much. They simply collapsed together on the couch, tangled under the same blanket. 007n7's head rested against 1x’s chest, the steady rise and fall of their breathing lulling him.

Across the street, high in the skeletal frame of an unfinished building, a figure crouched in the shadows. His eyes gleamed faintly with a sickly light, the Void Star pulsing against his temple like a parasite. The corrupted crown-like item whispered and buzzed in his ears, feeding the obsession already festering inside him.

He leaned forward, watching through the cracked glass of an old window, expression twisted somewhere between longing and hatred.
