Rainbow Omega

Summary:

Kuroko Tetsuya was just a normal omega with a low presence, but nothing could have prepared him for this. Being in a pack with some rainbow haired alphas? Atrocious!

And being in love with the leader? Revolting!

Especially when he treated Kuroko with an overwhelming amount of love and care. After Teiko Akashi Seijirou became over possessive of Kuroko, and it didn’t help that the other pack members did as well.

Was it because he was the only omega in their pack? Or perhaps something else? At the age of 14, Tetsuya meets 5 alphas that would protect him at all costs, changing his life forever.

And as soon as the 5 proposed making a pack, Kuroko Tetsuya knew his peaceful life would be no more.

In a world where omegas, alphas, and betas coexist, Kuroko Tetsuya has managed to become a member of the GOM pack.

So this is Kuroko Tetsuya, as he tries his best to survive in a world where he’s criticised for being an omega, and dating someone way out of his league. How will he cope with all the wrongs of this world?

Chapter Text

It was just a normal Friday for young Kuroko Tetsuya. The second year Teiko student loved Fridays, just like most people, and he was glad the weekend was approaching quickly. He was planning on going to the library to renew a few books, and planned to binge them in the comfort of his room. He probably had a few errands to run for his parents too, and there was a new cafe just around the block that he wanted to visit.

This weekend would be a peaceful one, and Kuroko spent most of his time thinking about it during his walk to school. When he saw Aomine by the school gates, unusually early, he was going to ask him what he was going to do for the weekend. Perhaps if they were both free, they could spend an afternoon playing basketball together.

Though his weekend planning had halted when Aomine announced a meeting in the fourth gym after school, saying it was GOM only and to not be late. Kuroko would have laughed at the person saying it, the person who was always late, if not for the sudden rush of thoughts about why they were having this meeting.

Aomine had left with a “Cya later Tetsu!” And disappeared in the crowd of morning students before Kuroko could ask why. And because of this his thoughts of weekend planning were replaced with wonderings of why they needed this meeting.

In his first period all he could think about was if he had done something wrong. Kuroko tried to think back on anything he might feel guilty about in the last few weeks, and thought of nothing. Except for the time a few nights ago when he was walking home and accidentally stepped on the tail of a stray cat, or that time where he went grocery shopping and scared a few years out of the cashier. That was normal though.

But how would the team even know about that, and why would they call a meeting about that? So that thought was dismissed halfway through first period. Maybe it was about training regimes? Akashi had to give Aomine and Kise a lot of extra sets because of misbehaviour this past week. In fact, Kuroko thinks that all practices this week had both Aomine and Kise doing extra sets.

Those two really needed to learn when to quit the fighting, but they still haven’t learnt their lesson yet. Kuroko also remembered Midorima and Murasakibara getting extra sets this week too, not nearly as much as Aomine and Kise. But still enough to behave the two. He remembers Akashi scolding Midorima about bringing a pair of boxing gloves to practice as his lucky item.

It was fine at first until Aomine and Kise decided to be silly with it and pretended to be in a boxing match instead of practicing. They were caught by Akashi who gave them extra sets, and he remember the two whining as they started to run laps. Akashi had also told Midorima to throw the boxing gloves away as it was a distraction to their practice.

The ever loyal Midorima had refused, as he was apparently more loyal to his Oha asa than his captain. This had also earned him a few extra sets. Murasakibara had gotten scolded for eating candy instead of practicing, and Akashi gave him extra sets for that. Kuroko was the only one out of the GOM who hadn’t gotten an extra set that week, and Kuroko had saw that as a big achievement.

Though it might have been because Akashi has a bit of a soft spot for Kuroko, it was quite obvious that everyone in the GOM knew. In fact everyone had a bit of a soft spot for Kuroko, the main reason being his second gender.

Kuroko was an omega, presented at the age of seven by the distinct smell he had one morning after he woke up. Omegas weren’t common, only taking around 10% of the population. Alphas being 30% and betas the rest. And the age of seven is a bit young to have their second gender presented, the average being between the ages of around 12-15. But it seemed that Kuroko was meant to be an omega by birth, hence the young age. He got used to the teases about that topic.

And because of presenting at the age of seven, he also started developing his omega features.

By the time he joined Teiko, when everyone was only beginning to get their secondary gender, Kuroko had already fully developed all his omega features. His slim, curvy body, bright, doe eyes, button nose, fuller cheeks, and small stature, had made him different from people his age. And everyone had already known what he was by the sight and smell alone, well, that is if they could notice him.

He had a low presence since before becoming an omega, but his scent had been more prominent and stronger than others, so if you knew his vanilla scent well, it would be easy to find him with a skilful nose.

When Kuroko met the GOM, everyone had also presented their secondary gender too. All of them being alphas, which honestly, didn’t surprise Kuroko at all. All of them had presented at around ten, except for Akashi. Akashi was like Kuroko, presented at a super young age, known as an alpha at only five. Which sounds shocking at first, but when you think about the lineage of the Akashi family, you would understand why.

Akashis alpha features had been more prominent than the other Generation of Miracles, and he made that very clear. Though he was shorter in height, and looked to be smaller in build, he was actually on par with the likes of Aomine and even Murasakibara. That, Kuroko was skeptical about. Until he witnessed with his very own eyes, a very easy win from Akashi when he and Murasakibara arm wrestled.

The others were also very shocked, but had now believed that Akashi was clearly the strongest alpha out of them. Under all his clothes, you really can’t see much muscles, but in the changing rooms, Kuroko especially, has noticed the defined muscles on his back and toned outline of a six pack. Not to mention the veiny arms and long, slender fingers. Kuroko nearly drooled at the thought.

Okay, maybe Kuroko had a tiny crush on his captain, but it was only a phase! It will pass soon, he said. He will probably never see Akashi again after high school except for tv, he said. Though his heart ached at the thought of never seeing him again, of never seeing any of the GOM again after high school.

The bell rang signalling the end of first period, and Kuroko realised he had zoned out the rest of the class. He shrugged, his grades were pretty good anyway. Kuroko stood up silently and started to pack up his unopened book and other stationery, placing them neatly into their designated spots in his bag.

When he was done he noticed that he was the last to leave, though this didn’t come as a surprise as this happened everyday. Kuroko hummed under his breath and began his walk to his next class, mind wandering back to what was happening today after school. Why else would the GOM need to have a meeting?

Kuroko ruled out all possible options that involved him getting in trouble, so that was good, he couldn’t say the same about Kise and Aomine though. His mind thought back to the game yesterday.

The game they had last night was won pretty easily by him and the other regulars. And it was also the first time they played with Kise in a match, so maybe that was what this was about. Kise was relatively new, and had familiarised with the first string pretty easy. Akashi decided not to use him in a game until later so he could see their play style and study how they moved around each other during the game.

Somehow this led to Kise creating his own style of copying other peoples styles. Kuroko knew that Akashi had planned this, or something similar to this since the very beginning, and Kuroko couldn’t tell you how Akashi knew this.

The game was won with a score of 90-23 to Teiko, which was an accomplished game considering how young they were. Maybe this meeting was to congratulate  the team on their successful win? That could be a possibility.

Kuroko walked through the halls to his next class, absentmindedly weaving through the crowds of students who didn’t see him, his mind distracted by the coming evening. Somewhere in his vision, he saw a flash of red. He instinctively looked at the direction of the red, and found blazing ruby eyes stare at him in amusement.

Kuroko felt his face heat up in embarrassment and smiled shyly at his captain, he brought his hand up to give a small, awkward, wave. Akashi smiled warmly and walked over to Kuroko who looked delightedly In his direction.

“Kuroko, fancy seeing you here.” Akashi said, and Kuroko discreetly leaned in to smell his familiar scent of pinewood and roses.

“Akashi-kun, good morning.” Akashi nodded in acknowledgment.

“Has Aomine told you about our meeting today after school?” Kuroko’s eyes widened slightly.

“Yes, actually I was just thinking about it. I was wondering what it was about?” Kuroko looked up at Akashi when he said that, hoping that Akashi got the hint and would tell him about it.

“Ahh..well I suppose you’ll have to find out, hm?” Kuroko nearly pouted, nearly. And Akashi thought it was so Kuroko-ly adorable.

“Akashi-kun that’s unfair, you might as well tell me now anyway because it’s today.” Akashi looked thoughtful for a minute, almost giving Kuroko hope.

“Hmm, well then I guess it’s even better to wait, no?” “Akashi-kun!”

Akashi laughed out loud, startling a few students that were walking past the two.

“I’ll see you at lunch, Kuroko.” With a brief nod and another smile Akashi brushed past Kuroko to his next class. Kuroko only stood dumbfounded until he realised he needed to get to class.

He walked through the empty halls and saw his teacher writing something on the blackboard. Kuroko easily sneaked in and slipped into his seat, with no one batting an eye. A silent groan escaped his lips and he lay his head on his arms to drown out the sound of his teachers monotone voice.

Period 2 would be spent thinking about this afternoon as well.

Lunch came and Kuroko hurriedly walked up many stairs to get to the rooftop, which was the GOMs normal lunch spot. When he got there he realised he was the first one to arrive, which he had expected.

Kuroko sighed and sat on the ground with his back against the wired fence, he took out his lunch and silently started to eat.

One by one a member of the GOM came and they unconsciously formed a protective circle around Kuroko, with him sitting in between Aomine and Akashi. He smiled at their new bond that they had built together. Before when Haizaki was still here they would sit in the cafeteria on a bench that they claimed on one of the first days of school. But when Kise came along they moved to the roof top which was not only much more peaceful but also erased foul memories of Haizaki.

Kise went on about a story like always and the GOM attentively listened while eating lunch. Aomine was not so discreetly stealing rice balls out of his bento even though he had his own, perfectly fine bento that Momoi had specially made for him.

“Aomine-kun, if you don’t like Momoi-sans cooking you should tell her to improve or make your own lunch.”

Kuroko grumbled after Aomine had stolen more than half of his rice balls while he hadn’t even eaten one yet. People told him he was a slow eater but he preferred the term of enjoying his food rather than barbarically shoving food down his throat.

“You know that the crazy women would kill me if I told her that.” Aomine lazily shoved a finger into his ear, the same one that had just been stealing rice balls. Kuroko’s face never deceived him, but his eyes shone a glint of disgust.

“Aominecchi!! Don’t call Momoiichi a crazy women!!” Kise paused his story to tell Aomine off as usual.

“Ohh? Would you like to eat her homemade bentos then??” Kise squeaked and moved away from the unopened, untouched, rank smelling bento that lay innocently on Aomines lap.

“Mine-chin, you should probably go throw that stuff in the bin before she comes back and sees you haven’t eaten any of it yet.” Murosakibaras lazy voice called out.

“Yeah yeah.” Aomine got up from his spot beside Kuroko and headed for the rubbish bin that sat by the door. Meanwhile Kuroko picked up his first rice ball and ate it, the flavours of fluffy rice and seaweed mixed with whatever spices his older brother put in tasted like heaven on his pallet. He closed his eyes and out a satisfied hum at the taste, a small smile forming on his lips.

“Awww, Kurokocchi looks so cute right now!!” Kuroko’s eyes snapped open and a small blush formed on his cheeks when he saw that everyone was staring at him, looking at him with fond smiles.

“Kise-kun, it is rude to watch people when they eat.” Kuroko scolded. The others laughed, and Kuroko laughed along. His eyes had made their way to see Akashi, who was already staring at him with glee.

This is nice, Kuroko thought.

Lunch rolled around and before he knew it the bell rang signalling it was time for their last period of the day.

The GOM said farewell to each other with Akashi and Midorima walking side by side as they had math together. Kise and Aomine bickered across the hall with Murasakibara following lazily  as they all had science together.

Kuroko smiled softly and headed down to his class, English, and totally forgot that he could’ve just asked any one of the GOM about the meeting after school.

With a sigh Kuroko listened to the teacher as he reiterated a Chinese proverb, of course he was the only one that didn’t have a single class with any of the GOM.

Soon, the bell rang for end of school and Kuroko rushed out the classroom to the gym. Surprisingly, the rest of the GOM was already there, waiting with their bags slung over their shoulder and talking about some nonsense again. By the looks of it Aomine and Kise were fighting again, and Kuroko approached them silently.

Akashi was the only one who saw him, and he greeted Kuroko with a slight nod. Kuroko nodded back, and broke eye contact with Akashi in fear that his knees would buckle.

”You idiot!! Obviously the humans would win against the gorilla, you know how many 100 men are!?” Aomine glared at Kise with bag slung lazily across his shoulder, Kuroko couldn’t help but think he looked like a gangster.

”Nooo you aho! The gorilla is bigger, stronger, and faster. Even if all 100 men attacked him at the same time the gorilla could easily knock out all of them in a single punch!” Kise had his arms crossed angrily, his gold eyes were lit with a fierce glare as he challenged Aomine.

Seriously, Kuroko thought. They should just stop arguing and get together already.

Suddenly Kise broke his gaze with Aomine and pointed his nose up to sniff the air, the gym went silent as Kises nose pinned the direction of a specific scent.

Kise’s eyes met Kuroko’s at an instant and Kuroko almost groaned when he was noticed.

”KUROKOCHIII-SUU!!” Kise lept off his feet and ran straight into Kuroko, so fast that he didn’t even have time to move away. The breath was knocked out of him as a body crashed into his own and sent them both rolling on the ground of the hard gym floor. Kuroko wheezed as he had the life squeezed out of him by strong arms that wrapped around his stomach.

”K-Kise.. can’t.. breathe..” Kuroko gasped and as air was finally knocked back into his lungs.

“You idiot Kise you nearly killed Tetsu!!” Aomine growled as one hand scrunched the back of Kises shirt, lifting him up in the air.

Kise,” said person squeaked and turned towards his soon murderer with fear clouding his eyes.

Triple training for the rest of the week, including 10 laps around the school every morning.” Kise shivered, and so did the rest of the GOM when they heard Kise’s punishment.

Kise deflated in Aomines hold, knowing that fighting back would only make it worse. “Yes Captain, rodger that captain..” Fat crocodile tears ran down his face as he thought about the next few mornings where he would have to wake up early and come into class full of sweat.

Akashi nodded and turned his scary gaze to Kuroko who still lay winded in the floor, his eyes turned soft as he offered a hand to help him up.

The second Kuroko grabbed his hand Akashi pulled the blue head up and held him by his side, an arm was wrapped around his waist as Kuroko blushed beet red.

”Are you okay Kuroko?” Kuroko nodded meekly, too embarrassed to say anything aloud. The arm on his waist was comforting yet foreign all at the same time.

”Geez Akashi, get a room.” Akashis eyes snapped towards the other blue head.

”Do you wish to join Kise, Aomine?” The ganguro’s eyes widened and he stepped back unconsciously, nodding his head so much Kuroko was scared it was gonna fall off.

”Anyway,” Midorima interrupted after recovering from second hand embarrassment. “The reason we are here?”

Ah yes, Kuroko thought. The meeting.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Chapter Text

The GOM sat down on the gym floor, in a circle with Akashi’s arm still wrapped around Kuroko’s waist.

“Kuroko,” Akashi started

“We want to start a pack with you.” Kuroko’s mouth opened, but he realised he didn’t have anything to say so he closed them again. When he saw everyone looks at him, he opened them to speak, only to close them once again. He resembled a fish out of water.

Kurokos POV

I didn’t know what to say, a pack? I wasn’t expecting that when I came here. It wasn’t even in my list about possibilities.

Did I want to be in a pack? Did I even know what a pack was?

My mind raced. Be in a pack with my friends? My teammates? It didn’t sound like a bad idea now that I think about it.

In fact , I couldn’t imagine myself in a pack with anyone else. I was only 13 though, so what did I have to say? My parents didn’t want me to be in a pack until at least 18 but they wouldn’t mind if it was these guys, right?

I could always move into different packs if I wanted to, I could always change my mind. A pack isn’t permanent unless we share blood. All I needed to do was scent with the others once a week, and honestly that didn’t sound that bad.

But I had heard of how dangerous it could be to fall out of a pack. My mum had always told me to find a good pack so that I wouldn’t have to go through a fall out of a pack, which sometimes led to self harm, depression, and in the worst of cases suicide.

I shivered slightly at the thought of killing myself because I left a pack, that wouldn’t be ideal. Plus I was still young so I didn’t need to rush into a pack, but, did being in a pack really sound that bad? There was really only pros more then cons when having a pack.

Stronger friendships, or sometimes even relationships, protection, better bind with teammates, and even a unique smell that would belong only to us.

I thought back to some people who I had smelt when walking past them and even some of the third years. They would smell a mix of different people all mixed together into a unique smell but never did they smell bad.

I thought of myself as being one of those people, and then thought to his our scent would smell like if we did become a pack. It would smell good, I thought about Akashi-kun’s husky cinnamon mixed with my sweet vanilla and for some reason it gave me small butterflies. Really good.

”Kurokocchi?”

Kises voice broke me out of my trance and I noticed that everyone was looking at me worriedly. I hadn’t even noticed they were all fixated on me, waiting for an answer.

I panicked for a second, did I want this? Did I want to be in a pack?

I thought back to all they had done for me since we had met, yes, my mind thought immediately.

Yes I do.

I realised that these were good people, they would help me as much as I would help them. Yes, we were young. But what would that do affect our relationship? It was either we did it now or in our third year, and I would much rather do it early so we could experience together.

Experience what? You may ask. I don’t even know myself.

But I do know that I can trust these alphas, with my life and anything beyond that. I didn’t know where I had built all this trust on them when I only met them at the beginning of this year, hell it hasn’t even been 6 months since I met them. Maybe this was stupid, maybe he was too young, but some part inside of him, his omega, felt he could trust.

”I-I, I’ve never been in a pack before, but I think I want to.” I locked eyes with everyone. “I want to make a pack with you,” my eyes stayed on Akashi-kun. “All of you..” I decided.

Suddenly I felt a body slam into me and I recognised it as Kise’s. Once again I felt the breath being knock out of my lungs as  I fell back. The only thing keeping me from hitting my head on the ground was Akashi-kun’s arm that still lay firmly around me.

Kise hugged me tight by the waist and I relaxed in his hold, I leaned back into Akashi-kun as well and he also hugged me back.

I felt warm being hugged by my friends and I felt myself let out a loud laugh. The other Generation of Miracles joined the hugs as well and I enjoyed the warmth and smell of everyone together.

We laid as a pile of limbs on the floor, cuddling like little toddlers. I didn’t mind though, I don’t think did. I guess they were really happy that I accepted.

I leaned back into Akashi-kun’s chest, it was a bit weird because I didn’t know if he was comfortable with so much physical touch like this. But he wrapped his arm around me tighter and I went lax in his soothing hold.

I heard the others around me breathing, and we fell into a peaceful atmosphere.

The gym floor was cold, but despite that I felt warm and cozy in my position. Kise used my leg as a pillow and Aomine laid a heavy arm over my left foot.

I started to feel myself fall asleep to the small circles that Akashi-kun was drawing in my back, and before I knew it my eyes closed shut into a peaceful slumber.

Akashi knew that the gym was not a suitable place to cuddle with your pack mates but he honestly couldn’t care less. He felt Kuroko go limp in his arms and smiled when he noticed the even breath of his invisible teammate.

He would cherish him, as a pack mate and even something more.

Kuroko had always interested him and honestly he was quite surprised that he said yes to being in a pack. None the less he was still happy, ecstatic even.

It probably wasn’t a good idea to stay on the wooden floor though, Akashi could feel the temperature start to drop. It was best to celebrate later, maybe tomorrow after practice, as everyone was too tired today,

Akashi huffed in amusement as he saw Aomine already dozing off with his head on Kise’s thigh. Even Murasakibara was going in and out of unconsciousness with a bag of chips that crinkled beside him. Only Midorima was awake, but he seemed about ready to rest as well.

Akashi sighed and made a move to get up. He made eye contact with Midorima and silently mouthed let’s get them a cab which he understood instantly and started digging for his phone to do as instructed.

Meanwhile Akashi made careful movements to adjust Kuroko so that he was now carrying him bridal style. Kuroko’s head leaned into Akashis chest and he snuggled into his shirt. Akashi felt his heart start to melt at the sight. He spared a glance at the pile of limbs that stayed fast asleep. Unconscious he noted that Aomine had started drooling on Kise’s pants and he knew they would fight about it once they woke up.

Akashi didn’t want to think about that right now, he turned away from the, and opened the door to the gym with Kuroko still in his arms. The moment he pushed the doors open a rush of the cold night air had immediately hit them with a freezing breeze. Even Akashi has slightly shivered, and he scolded himself for not putting his jumper on.

He glanced down and saw that poor Kuroko was also shivering and tried to lean into Akashi for warmth. Akashis eyes turned soft and he walked back inside the gym so that it wouldn’t be as cold, he made sure the door shut behind them.

Akashi’s POV

I walked over to a bench that players would normally sit on between quarters and sat down. I readjusted Kuroko so that he sat in my lap more comfortably before pulling my bag out to dig out my jumper.

I heard footsteps approaching as I tried to pit my jumper on Kuroko without waking him up.

”I called 2 cabs, I assume you have asked for a driver to come pick you up?” I simply nodded at Midorima, not wanting to risk waking Kuroko up.

“Very well then, I trust you to take care of the rest, my mum is already here.” Midorima walked in the direction of the door, I saw his taped hands push up his glasses before he walked out the door.

That tsundere, I thought. I hadn’t even said good but to him yet. The gym fell into a silence after Midorima left, with small snores from all his teammates being the only noise.

I looked down at Kuroko, who was drowning in my jumper as he lay in my lap. He is so cute, so adorable.

I held him tight and hooked my chin over his shoulder. He was warm, so nice and warm. I slightly shivered in my short sleeves. Kuroko was the only thing keeping me warm as I had given him my jumper. My nose nuzzled into his scent gland and I felt him shiver in his sleep when I did that, his scent blocker was preventing me from smelling his sweet vanilla and I almost had an urge to rip it off him. Luckily my conscious stopped myself when I thought of the consequences.

I hugged him tighter and waited until a few minutes had passed. I don’t think I fell asleep but I wouldn’t be surprised if I did, I knew my driver was already here so I hit up with Kuroko still in my arms and walked outside. I was half asleep as I walked towards my limo and I half noted that two cabs were parked beside it.

I murmured to my driver to wake up my teammates and take them to their cabs, and he left with nod. The car was warm and I felt Kuroko relax in his sleep as it wasn’t as cold anymore. I also relaxed and leaned back into my seat  I refused to sleep until I was in my bed.

I stared at Kuroko’s peaceful face and admired his perfect skin, adorable lips, long lashes, and cute nose, as I waited for my driver to return. Not long later he came back and started driving out of the school.

“To Kuroko’s house.” I heard myself say, as I snuggled closer into Kuroko and rest my eyes. I guess I could let myself sleep for a bit. I thought as I fell into a sleep with the warmth of an omega in my arms.

It wasn’t any regular omega, it was my omega.

Chapter 3

Summary:

Chapter Text

Kuroko panted as he drank from his water bottle. The GOM had just finished a very tiring practice and Kuroko felt about ready to collapse. His teammates also panted beside him, but not as much as he was. He really needed to work on his endurance if he wanted to improve.

“Kuroko, are you okay?” Kuroko turned and met eyes with Akashis worried ruby.

“Yes, Akashi-kun. I just have very low stamina so I get tired easily.” Akashi smiled.

“Tetsu! Wanna go to Maji burger after?” Aomine came to sit next to Kuroko and he grabbed Kuroko’s water bottle as his was already empty. Kuroko could see from the corner of his eye how Akashi had slightly frowned at that.

“Yes, but I don’t have any money.”

“Wahhh~! Kurokochii~suu I can pay for you!” Kise popped in their conversation, his eyes alight.

”Argh!” Aomine yelped and glared at the yellow puppy beside him. “Hell no Kise you can’t interrupt me and Tetsu’s special time!”

“What do you mean suu~!” Kise cried our crocodile tears. “Plus I’m sure everyone would want to tag along as well right minnaaa~!?”

“Gehh!”

Akashi nodded at what Kise said. “And what might you mean by special time, Aomine?”

Aomine let out a squeaky sound, he turned to Akashi looking as if he’d seen a ghost.

“I wanna go to Maji burger~” Murasakibara piped in, he was already snacking on some chips even though practice had ended not even 5 minutes ago.

”I suppose I can spare some time to eat unhealthy food.” Midorima pushed his glasses up, he wiped his sweat off with a towel. A tin of chickpeas sat by his bag.

”Midorimachii don’t make it sound like you don’t want to come with us suu! Tsundere!” Midorima froze.

“Tch, you don’t even have to come in the first place.” Aomine shoved a finger in his ear as he looked at the ground annoyed. “Me and Tetsus special time..” Aomine whispered under his breath.

”What was that?” Akashi smiled, and Aomine nearly damn peed his pants! “Nothing!”

“Hmph,” Akashi ’ignored’ the matter at hand for now. “So it’s settled then? Everyone is going to Maji?”

Everyone spoke an agreement and got ready to leave.

Kuroko and the rest of the GOM crowded around a table in Maji burger. Strangers were giving them weird looks. I mean who wouldn’t though?

There was a bunch of teenage boys eating in a cheap fast food chain, which was normal. But then you would notice their abnormal colour of hair, like there was a strawberry, a grape, a lime, a lemon, a blueberry, and an even lighter blueberry! Not that many could even see the lighter blue berry due to his nearly non existent presence.

It was truly a mysterious sight.

Then you would notice that the blueberry had a Mount Everest of burgers that even Sir Edmund Hillary wouldn’t be able to climb. But somehow this barbaric fruit head was easily swallowing up the food as if his life depended on it!

You could also see that the grape head clearly wasn’t of normal size, as he was taller than mostly everyone in the restaurant even though he was sitting down! He himself has a normal burger combo, but goodness gracious there were like 10 bags of chips surrounding him.

If you looked closer and managed to catch sight of the light blue head, you would see his normal passive face blush the same shade of the handsome strawberry’s hair. And if you looked even closer you would see that the strawberry head had an arm wrapped around the smallers waist, which was  probably the reason for the latters face to look like a red glow stick.

Akashi noticed the strange stares they were getting from several people in the store but honestly he couldn’t have cared less. If he had as filthy of a mouth as Aomine he would have told them to go fuck themselves. Instead he tightened his grip on Kuroko’s waist and marvelled at how stinking adorable Kuroko looked right now.

The two had gotten close and Akashi had taken a liking to this little phantom.

Akashi as of late had started courting Kuroko in not so subtle ways now that he found his newly acquired future mate. Such could be shown through the expensive gifts that started showing up in Kuroko’s locker one morning. A Rolex watch, a huge ass teddy bear that must have been at least $300 because it was made of the finest and most softest fur that Kuroko had ever felt in his life. Kuroko blushed when he realised that Akashi had scented it and expected Kuroko to use it during his heat.

And a pair of basketball shoes that Kuroko had been having his eyes on for years now had suddenly shown up in his locker one morning with a sweet little card that said,

I hope you enjoy these, put them to good use okay love?

Sincerely, your Future Mate

In perfect calligraphy. Kuroko blushed bright at the pet name.

When Kuroko tried them on they were somehow his exact size and fit so perfectly it was as if someone had studied his foot for years and made a shoe that would fit his feet like a glove. The ever so innocent Kuroko just expressed his gratitude through his words and Akashi somehow got Kuroko to kiss his cheek as thanks.

His teammates only cringed at the beginning of their oh so romantic love story, pondering over the fact that Akashi had known Kuroko’s exact foot size and even known what shoe he had wanted since he was 8 years old, as to what Kuroko says. This was pretty scary as Kuroko never, like never, expresses his wants because he doesn’t want to be a burden. That adorable cinnamon scroll.

“Stalker.” Aomine had once mumbled under his breath, which went unheard by the red head, luckily, but was heard on the other GOM ‘s ears. They didn’t say anything to agree nor disagree in fear of Akashi finding out what Aomine said, because Akashi would always somehow find out about bad words towards him.

Silently they all agreed, because yes, Akashi Seijirou was a stalker for Kuroko Tetsuya.

The GOM ate their burgers in peace, well, if you could call it peace.

”Oi you ganguro stop chewing with your mouth open, it makes my food unappealing.” Midorima pushed his glasses up and bought a singular, soggy French fry up to his mouth.

“Shud up you tsundere! Who even orders a normal burger combo there’s no way that’s enough food for someone.” The whole GOM sweatdropped.

You’re the only one without a burger combo Aomine-kun. Kuroko thought. Well except for Kuroko who had himself a vanilla milkshake.

“Ehhh Kurokochi! You should eat some of my fries!! You’re way too skinny right now you know that?!” Kise screamed practically across the table from Kuroko, offering him some of his uneaten fries.

”I-I’m okay Kise-kun, thank you though.” Kuroko gave a small, grateful smile, which made Kise blush bright red.

Akashi grabbed a fire from his own tray, and brought it up to Kuroko lips. Kuroko looked down at the fry, and then back up at Akashi.

“Eat it Kuroko, Kise’s right, you’re way too skinny for a middle schooler playing basketball in the first string.” Kuroko looked back at the fry, his lips pressed shut.

“That’s right Kuro-chin~ People like me could easily crush you.” Kuroko looked indecisive. “Oh for heavens sake it’s only a chip goddamn it Tetsu!”

“A chip wouldn’t do much harm to you Kuroko, it won’t hurt to eat some unhealthy stuff.” Midorima piped in. “He’s already drinking a vanilla milkshake, how is that not unhealthy!?” Aomine took a fat bite of another burger into his mouth, chewing messily with food particles flying everywhere.

Midorima looked at him with disgust. “Well I couldn’t say the same for you Aomine, you need to pile down on the amount of unhealthy foods.”

“That’s right Aominecchi! Even as a model I have a super strict diet! I’m not even suppose to be eating this right now!” Aomine formed a tick mark by his temple.

”Shut up Kise! Let me eat what I want.” The ace turned away from the snickering of his teammates, silently sulking while munching on the burgers that seemed never ending. Somehow he made a huge dent on the mountain, just how much food could this ganguro eat?

”Isn’t each burger like 200 yen ($1.40)? How are you gonna pay for all that Mine-chin.” Aomine tensed up, looked at the big mountain of at least 10,000 yen worth of burgers. “Uh..I thought Kise was paying……right?”

The yellow haired puppy froze.

WHAT? I’m not paying for all that you Aho!” Aomine stopped chewing mid way, looking at the faces of all the GOM who were smirking. He was in deep shit, really deep shit alright.

”Worry not,” Akashi said. “I can pay for everyone’s meal, this won’t even make a dent in my credit card.” Aomine sighed in relief, muttering a thank god underneath his breath.

But,” Everyone stilled, there’s a but? Why is there a but? Well of course there is, it’s Akashi-kun, there’s always a but!

”I expect everyone to do their best in practice, I’ve noticed a few of you are slacking because of the games we’ve won. Don’t get cocky,” He looked everyone in the eye. “100 battles. 100 wins. Victory above all.” Akashis voice was stern and royal, telling everyone how serious he really was.

The whole GOM gulped and nodded.

No one wanted to piss of Akashi Seijurou.

The table was left in tense silence. Tension so thin a knife could cut straight through.

Sluuuuuuuuuurrrpppp.

The GOM all turned their eyes towards Kuroko, seriously?

Chapter 4

Summary:

———

Kurokos breath grew steady, evening out as adrenaline kicked in. He watched as Murasakibara jumped and tipped the ball straight into Akashis hands, as easy as pie. Akashi took the ball and started his dribble, immediately being faced by a player from the other team.

Kuroko felt cocky at the smirk on Akashis face, and it was then when he realised, this isn’t fair.

Quicker than a blink Akashi dribbled past the other teams player, leaving him in the dust as he fell straight onto the hard wooden floor. It was only the first few seconds of the game and Akashi already tripped someone up! Kuroko giggled with glee.

Chapter Text

Kuroko looked around him, at the faces of determination from his teammates. This was the last team, in the finals, before they could win the summer tournament. It all felt surreal, one day he met these rainbow freaks, the next he made a pack with them, and then now they could be winning the summer tournament for their school in their first year? Talk about a roller coaster.

Coach Shirogane was going through a few strategies on the bench, everyone had warmed up and it was only a minute until the game started. Kurokos heart beat a thousand miles per minute, was he nervous? Excited? He didn’t know, perhaps both.

”Okay everyone! Remember, this is the finals, give it your all I know we can win this.” The coach gave the team encouraging words, but Kuroko drowned them out, he heard his heart beating rapidly, maybe a bit too fast. He heard a ringing in his ears as the whistle blew for players to get on the court.

Everything came at him all at once, and suddenly he was overwhelmed. A hand pat his back, and he flinched before turning towards the person who did it.

“Kuroko, don’t worry about it.” Akashis kind, gentle eyes stared warmly at him. “Just play like we always do, and if you mess up we all have your back.” Kuroko looked around and saw that his teammates were all looking at him with a smile, he couldn’t help but smile back. He was so lucky to have such amazing, supportive friends.

The starting 5 was Murisakibara, Akashi, Aomine, Kuroko, and Nijimura. Midorima and Kise were benched.

You might be thinking, where is that little bitch Haizaki Shougo? Well the latest news states that he got kicked off the team by Akashi Seijuro, who had reported him to the coach and Nijimura the captain.

The players from Toshiku (a random made up name) and Teiko set up around the two centres. Murasakibara and some tall, not as tall as Murasakibara though, black haired kid stood at the middle for the tip off.

Kuroko watched anxiously as both centres focused on the ball that the reff was holding, preparing to jump as soon as the starting whistle blew. Kurokos hands got sweaty, and he hastily tried to wipe them on his uniform that showed a big fat Number 16 before he messed up a pass and potentially risked a turnover.

The whistle blew, and the loud ring throughout the quiet gymnasium started a barrage of cheers and whoops from the audience.

He ran to position himself in Akashi’s point of view, and in a flash he saw a basketball hurling in his direction. He saw a glimpse of dark blue in the corner of his eye, and pushed the ball into the direction of Aomines hand with pin point accuracy.

Aomine smirked as he dribbled pass Toshiku’s stunned defence and easily scored a slam dunk. The first two points of the game.

He cheered as he ran towards Kuroko, giving him a fist bump as they shared a smile. The two were quick to run back on defence, but not without earning praises from their teammates. The crowd was also deafening as it roared loudly, Teiko was clearly in favour of winning.

One of Toshiku’s players, Number 7, was loud and rowdy. Plain disrespectful if you asked Kuroko, but he had to admit that Number 7 was good. He rammed through their defence head on and managed to bruise Murasakibara pretty hard, he reminded Kuroko of Haizaki. Which to Kuroko means bad news.

But he didn’t pose too much of a threat yet, he was only being a little physical towards the players.

The first quarter went on pretty well, the only really okay-ish player being their Number 7. The buzzer went off halfway through when Nijimura was about to score a lay up, and the starting 5 sat down on the bench as if they had just been on a nice stroll.

Maybe some sweat glistening on their face and neck, but they really weren’t at all tired. Well, 4 out of the 5 were not tired. Kuroko on the other hand.

The team sweat dropped.

Kurokos POV

I panted heavily as I collapsed on the bench, Akashi-kun sat beside me and supported my weight. I leaned on him and felt vibrations as he chuckled, he brought a towel up to wipe my sweat and I couldn’t be more grateful. I looked around and saw that everyone else was also looking at me with fond smiles.

”Geez Tetsu!” Aomine-kun came up to me and ruffled my sweaty hair, he wore a lopsided grin. “It’s only been a quarter and you’re already this tired? We really need to improve your endurance don’t we?!” The team laughed and I laughed along with them, well as much of a laugh as I could without trying to gulp in air.

”Omegas tend to have a weaker body anyway, I don’t blame Kuroko. Plus Oha-asa said Aquarius was ranked 8th today, that’s pretty low considering today’s an important game.” Midorima-kun sat from the bench, a lighter in hand. He hadn’t played in the first quarter, but he and Kise-kun would be subbing in for me and Akashi-kun.

Akashi-kun probably had the most stamina out of everyone, except maybe Nijimura-kin, but he insisted that he wanted to be benched so he could take care of me. Really, he’s just a perfect boyfriend.

You heard that right, Akashi-kun, after courting me for a few months, decided to ask me out a week ago. I accepted, of course, and is now happily in a relationship with a stubborn, smart, unfairly handsome red haired alpha. And I couldn’t be more happy.

”How did they even allow you to bring that in Midorimacchi~suu?” Kise-kun asked as he stared, terrified, at the lighter that Midorima-kun held innocently in his hand. “He obviously hid it in his bag Kise, are you dumb?!” Aomine-kun interrupted as he gave Kise-kun a knowing smirk.

I looked over at the other teams bench and saw how serious the expressions of everyone was, they were really serious about this huh? I mean I guess it is the finals. I looked back at my teammates faces and saw how much more light hearted it was, this was a much better environment to be surrounded by.

I managed to even my breathing now, and only then did I notice how thirsty I was. I felt something cold and rubber press against my lips, and looked down to see it was the nozzle of a water bottle. Looking up I saw Akashi-kun smile, as if telling me here, drink my water. I nodded gratefully and gulped down the rest of the water in it.

It was amazing really, how Akashi-kun could basically read my mind and give me everything I needed.

”Ehh~ I’m so tired, let’s beat this team quick and then go get food to celebrate.” Murasakibara-kun being as lazy as ever, sat on the bench looking like a possessed zombie, I then noticed that his hair was long and knotty, covering his eyes and crowding his face.

”Murasakibara-kun,” I frowned. “Why isn’t your hair tied up? It’s not good for you to have it down during games, it can affect your play and you could get hurt.” I silently scolded and he gave me a pitiful whine.

”I didn’t have any left~! I think my mum took them all out of my bag,” he sulked. “And on the day of the finals too~” he murmured sadly.

I sighed and stood up, my legs ached and I longed to be back in Akashi-kuns arms again. “Be more organised next time okay Murasakibara-kun?” I went over to my bag and dug around, before feeling a rubber elastic near the bottom and pulling it out. “Ah ha!”

I walked over to Murasakibara-kun and saw his face light up at the small object I was holding. I walked around the bench behind him and started tying up his long silky hair.

“Thank you Kuro-chin~! I owe you one.” The giant smiled at me and I smiled back.

”Awwww unfair suu! I wanna be babied by Kurokocchi as well~!” Kise-kun whined, crossing his arms like an angry 5 year old child.

“Kise.” The team looked at Nijimura-kun who had stayed silent until now. “Kindly, shut up or I’ll shut you up.” Nijimura-kun smiled, scary. We all shivered. Next to Akashi-kun, Nijimura-kun was the most scary.

”G-g-gomen N-Nijimuracchi suu!” Kise yelped with crocodile tears running down his face. “Don’t call me that.” Kise yelped again.

”H-hai!”

Everyone burst out laughing, even Coach Shirogane-san. Soon the whistle sounded for the next quarter, and everyone smiled with excitement and joy.

This is basketball, this is how basketball should feel like.

I watched as everyone assembled on the court again, and it was the other teams ball. I sat down next to Akashi-kun and leaned into his warmth, despite me being sticky from sweat from the quarter previously. He didn’t seem to mind as he slipped an arm around me.

We watched as Midorima-kun shoot his first three this game, he tried to play it cool as the crowd roared, but we could see him smirking behind his hand as he adjusted his glasses. I faintly glanced at the lighter placed dangerously on the bench, thinking back to what Kise-kun said, because how did Midorima-kun sneak the lighter in when we had to get our bags and bodies checked before entering the gymnasium?

Surely the metal detectors would have sensed it, right? The crowd roared as Teiko scored yet another point. I left my thoughts and snuggled closer to Akashi-kun, smelling a bit of his delightful cinnamon and rose scent.

I guess we’ll never know.

The second quarter was over, me and Akashi hadn’t been subbed on yet but we enjoyed watching our teammates play. The score was already 25-62, Teiko in the lead. I smiled, we were in the lead, we could win this.

We can win the summer tournament.

Kuroko panted, he passed the ball to Midorima and he immediately jumped to score a three. The ball swished through the net but not without hitting the back board first. Kuroko glanced at Midorima, his shots had gotten sloppy. Midorima’s face shone with sweat, and he leaned down with his hands on his knees, gasping.

Everyone was tired, even Akashi and Nijimura had began panting. Kuroko felt ready to fall, the only thing keeping him up was the determination to play this out until the end. With 8 minutes left on for the last quarter, Teiko was ahead by nearly 90 points.

Kuroko breathed heavily, the whistle blew for a substitution. He looked to the side and saw Kise with a bright smile, he held a sign that had number 9.

Midorima-kun, Kuroko thought as he saw Midorima jog towards the bench and immediately began drinking water. Kise jogged on the court, looking happy and not tired at all.

The whistle blew again and the game resumed, this time Teiko had an energetic player who had enough endurance to finish through with the game. With 4 minutes left on the clock, Toshiku called for a timeout, and Kuroko couldn’t have been more happy.

He dragged himself to the bench and plopped down beside Kise, he felt the energy leave his body and he couldn’t support himself. He ended up leaning against Kise, who only looked at Kuroko in pity.

”Kurokocchi? Are you okay? You don’t look very well, maybe you should sit out for the rest of the game..” Kise said, his eyes shone with worry.

“It’s not good for you to overexert yourself Kuroko, maybe it would be best to bench you.” Midorima, being the son of a well known, well trusted doctor, was respected by the whole team and believed Midorima words eagerly. Plus Kuroko was a shade paler then he normally was, and that’s saying something, especially since he usually had an already super pale complexion.

”I-I’m good..! Ju-ust need s-some rest..” Kuroko slumped against Kises shoulder, and the yellow head brought up a hand to pat his back comfortingly. “Plus,” Kuroko looked up and turned his neck in the direction of the other team, the Teiko team followed.

”They’re planning something, I want to find out what.” Kuroko had this determined look on his face, and the team knew they couldn’t do anything to change his mind.

”Okay Kuroko-kun, just tell us if you’re too tired okay?” Nijimura leaned back on the bench, he tilted his head back and drank water from his water bottle. “Don’t injure yourself, okay Kuroko?” Kuroko looked up at the voice, seeing his boyfriends eyes scrunched up in worry.

He nodded and broke out a small smile at the words of support and concern from his teammates. It was probably because he was an omega, the others had an instinctive sense to protect him, being alphas and all. “Guys there’s only 4 minutes left, you talk as if I’m gonna run into a car or something. Just because I’m the shortest and an omega doesn’t mean I’m the weakest.”

Actually it does, little omega. Akashi so desperately wanted to say, but not in front of everyone, he did smirk though. Kuroko could be so cute and he didn’t even know it.

Akashi looked back at the other team, he saw a fire being burnt in the players eyes. That’s weird, before it looked like everybody had already given up. But now they all had a glint in their eyes, as if to kill. Akashi frowned, they were planning something, and it was dangerous. The red headed alpha glanced back to the clock, what could they do in 4 minutes?

A lot, is what they didn’t know.

Kuroko POV

I panted as Number 7 drove past me and scored a lay up, earning them another 2 points. I quickly ran to the other side of the court to set up our plays, but somehow a player managed to steal the ball off Kise and that player had gotten another point again.

I glanced up at the score board where it read our score and the time we had left. The big red letters read 61-91, we were in the lead still. But how? How was Toshiku getting all these points?

I watched as another player from Toshiku elbowed Akashi-kun, Akashi-kun froze in shock at the pain and it gave the Toshiku player just enough time to steal the ball and score again.

63-91.

I grit my teeth, there was 2 minutes left so there way no way they could catch up to us. That’s just humanly impossible. But I won’t let them get away with hurting my friends, especially my boyfriend.

I ran up to the player who had so selfishly elbowed Akashi-kun, using all the strength my sore legs would give me, and sneaked behind the player using my misdirection. With a careful swipe I managed to get the ball out of his hands and into mine, I dribbled past the player before he could even comprehend what happened.

In the corner of my eye I could see Kise quickly running back from defence, and the shocked faces of the other players as they realised I stole the ball. Akashi-kun, Murasakibara-kun, and Aomine-kun were all being defended, so my only choice was to pass to Kise-kun or take the ball in myself.

Well that’s not good.

I thought to myself as Number 7 had recovered quickly and was now defending me. I struggled to protect the ball as he harshly threw himself onto me. I tried to look for help and see if I could pass to someone, but I couldn’t focus on anything other than protecting the ball. My dribbling was never the best, and I couldn’t keep my dribble up for much longer.

In a last ditch effort, I drove into number 7 with my whole body, practically body slamming him. He was winded for a second, and I used that little time to pass to Kise who had came up from the court and was in the perfect position to score. I watched as a defender stuck on him as soon as he got the ball, but with his skill of copying others, he took a step back behind the 3 point line and shot one of a Midorima perfect 3s.

The shot went in perfectly, and we had finally gotten a point. Well, 3 points. I smiled and directed my attention back towards Number 7 who I had just body slammed, and he glared at me as if I had killed his whole family and the last three generations of his ancestors. It didn’t seem like he was the type of person to care about family though.

I’ll be watching you.” He said, and I hated to admit that his voice sent a shiver down my spine. He seemed like the type of person to hold a grudge.

I glanced back at the clock and saw that we had 1:30 minutes left, and my mind immediately forgot about Number 7 and instead about the fact that we were about to win the summer tournament.

I let out a steady breath and analysed the court. That doesn’t mean that I’ll let my guard down though.

I saw Akashi-kun whisper something in Aomine-kun’s ear, and for once the blue head seemed serious. They also knew that this last minute was going to be spent giving our all.

The other team has the ball, and a player passed it to Number 7. Aomine-kun quickly stood up to defend him, he wore a determined expression, keeping his eyes on the ball whilst also being mindful about his elbows which had hit Akashi-kun before. Number 7 took up the challenge and smirked at Aomine-kun, and I know that the stupid ace could defend himself but I couldn’t help but get a little worried.

Suddenly I met eyes with Akashi-kun, and I sent him an are you okay? Look. He gave me a thankful smile and then nodded. I was relieved. He then gave me a serious nod, as if commanding me what to do without telling me what to do. I don’t know how but I understood when he glanced at Aomine-kun, Number 7, the ball, then back at me. I gave him a slight nod of my head in reply before approaching behind Number 7 with my misdirection.

Number 7 was still dribbling the ball, all his attention was focused on Aomine-kun and trying to predict what he would do next. I took my chance when he was most distracted and swiped the ball from out of his hands, again. I smirked silently when I succeeded, and quickly turned to pass the ball to Akashi-kun. I kinda wished I could have seen Number 7’s expression when he realised he no longer had the ball, but I would rather look at my boyfriend’s beautiful face as he scored another goal.

By the time Number 7 did notice he didn’t have the ball anymore, Akashi-kun had already scored.

He looked furious as he turned around, and I could practically see steam rising out of his ears as his face turned red. I would have laughed if I hadn’t seen him suddenly approach me in wide, angry strides.

A rush of panic flared through me as we locked eyes, his shining with a killing intensity.

I felt my body freeze as he came closer, until he was only a few steps ahead of me. Luckily Akashi-kun had stepped in front, blocking the path between me and him. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see it was Aomine-kun’s. He looked down at me and gave me a reassuring smile, before looking up at Number 7 with a stern expression.

”You Motherfucker!”

I heard Number 7 yell, clearly being directed at me. I flinched at the angry sound, and barely reacted as Aomine-kun had sprang out from behind me and nearly pounced at him like a wild panther.

Akashi-kun suddenly held a hand out, as if telling Aomine-kun to be contained.

If the situation was any other, I would have praised Akashi-kun for being able to command us like we were his servants. Not like Akashi-kun treated us like servants, but more like Akashi-kun just naturally acted like a King. I blushed at the thought that if Akashi-kun was a King, then was I a Queen?

”It’s all because of you!” Number 7’s voice brought me back to reality, and I looked up to meet his furious eyes. Suddenly I froze again.

You stupid runt! Without you my team would have won, without you I wouldn’t be humiliated in front of all these people, without you I could live my life in peace. Just go kill yoursel-“

”Shut your filthy mouth.”

The gymnasium was quiet. So quiet you could hear a pin drop. Akashi-kun’s words sliced through the air like a sharp knife, silencing hundreds of people with only 4 words. Making everyone, including myself, tremble in our boots.

I saw as Number 7 directed his attention from me to Akashi-kun, his eyes glaring as if he didn’t think my boyfriend would dare interrupt him. But underneath the loath, I saw fear, I saw a shivering coward.

“You don’t have the right to talk about my boyfriend like that, he is levels above your dirty scum.” Akashi-kun spat out the words like venom, his words sounding impactful and sadistic.

”He-!” “Don’t speak another word. Or I will make sure you won’t be able to speak for the rest of your life.”

Akashi-kun stood still as he gave Number 7 a nasty glare, one that would make even a grown man pee their pants. I saw the fear in Number 7’s eyes as he tched, sending me one more spiteful glance and then turning away.

Everything was quiet. No one dared speak, cough, make a sound, or even breathe, scared to anger the red head even more. I even felt myself hold my breath for a bit. Faintly I noticed that Aomine-kun had calmed down beside me, he still looked angry but he wasn’t as stiff anymore.

Suddenly a buzzing sound filled the gym, breaking the suffocating silence. It was the buzzer, the buzzer for the end of the game! Then that means..! I looked at the score board, still sporting the same score as a minute before the whole conflict. It read, 63-97.

It was silent for a few seconds after the buzzer, before the whole stadium erupted in cheers for the winning team, Teiko. I myself also jumped slightly and smiled, as golden confetti started raining down on us. Me and Kise-kun met eyes and he immediately ran towards me. This time I welcomed him with open arms as we hugged each other and squealed.

I allowed myself, just this once.

Suddenly all the benched players, meaning Midorima-kun and Murosakibara-kun stood up as well and ran to the middle of the court where me, Kise-kun, Akashi-kun, Nijimura-kun, and even Aomine-kun were smiling and laughing together, cheering for our win. Our first win.

Kise-kun let go of his death grip around me, and me and Akashi-kun had found each other and hugged tight. I breathed in his slight scent, him still smelling of rose and husky cinnamon even though he was wearing scent blockers. I laughed as he kissed my cheek, and then kissed my lips. Turning my giggles into a muffled sound.

We shared a kiss, surrounded by our teammates who whooped and called beside us. I felt like the happiest person alive, we won, we won.

We won!

I soaked in the celebrations, the happiness I felt when being around people I loved, playing a sport I loved.

Akashi-kun deepened the kiss, adding his tongue which made me flustered and i reddened the shade of his hair. Then he broke the kiss and looked at me, giving me one last kiss on the nose. It was hard to believe that we had only started dating a week ago, when it felt like we had been dating for 10 years.

”You’re so cute.” He said, and I strained to hear him against the loud cheering from the audience and teammates around us.

I blushed even more and looked up at him, I felt as his arms hugged me tighter, and I did the same. I then looked away, embarrassed at what I was about to say, he noticed and gave me time. But I felt as his eyes bore into my face, trying to read through my normally empty face.

“Y-you were hot,” I looked up to meet his ruby eyes. “B-back there, you w-were really hot.” He groaned and buried his face into my shoulder. “Can we not talk about him?” I sensed his smile and noted his husky voice, he didn’t seem angry anymore. He sounded tired though.

”And,” his voice sighed, “You’re too cute for your own good.” I blushed and snuggled into the hug. Subconsciously I noticed that the cheering died down and everyone was starting to exit the stadium. It was only me and Akashi-kun standing in the middle of the court awkwardly, there was golden confetti scattered all over the ground around us.

“I’m tired,” I said, mumbling into his shirt. He smelled of sweat, in a good way. I suddenly scolded myself for thinking sweat smelled good, and sighed when I realised that I’m probably having these thoughts because my heat is coming.

”Me too.” I heard Akashi-kun mumble back into my hair.

I smiled, living life like this, it feels good.

I feel content, I hope it lasts.

Reading through I noticed that it doesn’t have much omegaverse stuff, and that’s because I totally forgot that this story was omegaverse and I got so invested in writing about there games, oops hehe.

Hope u guys don’t mind thoughhhh! Btw this is not the last that we will see of Number 7, he will play a role in the next chapter, but no spoilers!

Also I really appreciate the comments! They really mean a lot to me so I would love to see or read ur thoughts about this story because they really keep me motivated. Just drop a comment if you feel like it!

Anyway that’s alll!

Notes:

Here’s another chapter for ya’ll!! Btw I was just wondering if u were reading this because of Akakuro or just like the GOM as a whole, cuz I’m not sure what to focus on writing about more.

Personally I was mainly thinking about this being an Akakuro fic with fluff/angst/smut and the like.

But anyywayyyssss pls let me know so I can write what u guys likeee!
