Chapter 1: Cause You'll Never Return
Chapter Text
Control. Control is safety. That’s why Miles was wearing the most ridiculous get-up of his life.
Sonic was out of control. He hadn’t been anything but a sobbing and stuttering mess since some wench shattered his heart into a thousand pieces two weeks ago. All because he dared miss their date.
Didn’t they understand Sonic had so much more important things to do? No matter, Tails could suffice. A suitable replacement. Controlling the supply of Sonic’s dopamine was as practical as it was easy. Miles had tried to get him to go out on a date with Amy, but the blue blur hadn’t even humoured the thought. Once again, Miles had to clean up Sonic’s mess.
“Dinner’s served.” Tails announced, placing down a hot serving of chilidogs for her hero.
Crunch. Munch. Dribbles of chili fell out Sonic’s lips. Grasping the napkins, Tails patted him down and wiped it away.
“Tails, you can drop the nice girl act.” He misled with that muffled tone, chewing on the bite still caught between his teeth, “Seriously. I’m over her.”
Miles felt a cold chill run across his spine. He had been seen through like glass.
That couldn’t be allowed.
Tails gave a tired sigh, pouting, “ I told you, this has nothing to do with that, love.”
“Then how come you got dolled up the moment I start moping?”
“Pure coincidence.” Tails lied, spinning around to grab a drink. Her fluffy tails were well-brushed, primed for tonight.
“Are you sure…?” Sonic seemed uncertain. He always thought he knew better, Miles hated it. If Sonic knew better, he wouldn’t stand idle as countless die. He wouldn’t be dumb enough to find the fox enchanting. He wouldn’t be best friends with a genocidal maniac.
Miles laughed it off. It was silly. He was silly. The suggestion was silly. He had to think it was a silly, stupid idea. Go along with it, Sonic. Stop questioning it, Sonic. Don’t worry, be happy. Tails will keep you safe. Tails will fulfill your needs. Like always.
Tails had to blend in. Had to be useful. Had to fulfill a role, and she’d do it well. Miles would make sure of that.
Anything for Sonic.
Tails sipped from her glass of wine, and stumbled into Sonic’s side. Tails didn’t think. Miles observed. She made careful note of Sonic’s body language, adjusting her every movement and social tick to maximise his reciprocity. It was an algorithm for Miles to optimize the correct choices, for Tails, it was love. Or an appropriate approximation of it fabricated with the scientific method. Synthetic, yet functional.
Once he had finally stopped blabbering and was sufficiently tipsy himself, Tails had him right where she wanted him. Weak. Defenseless. It made her churn but it was alright. His guards were lowered only for her and her cute pretty face, her well-done eyeliner, and soft soothing voice. No one else would dare take his trust again only to break it into pieces with unreasonable demands.
Tails closed the distance between their lips and their tongues touched. It reminded her of their first rolling combo. Only sloppier. She was terrible. Her first kiss was as much of a hack-job as the tornado’s first repair, and she knew it.
Miles pulled back and was met with Sonic’s smile.
“Wow, you weren’t kidding… you’re amazing, Tailsy.” He pinched Miles’ cheek, tugging on the scruff of the boy’s muzzle. It hurt. Miles winced.
Tails laughed off the pain, “Stop–”. Careless. So characteristically Sonic. More focused on his own fun than anyone else’s.
“I never knew you could be so adorable…” He licked his lips and caressed her cheek, pampering her like a new doll won at twinkle park.
Miles rolled his eyes. Tails stood still, paralyzed. The hand brisked down from Tails’ muzzle to her hips, The shadows enveloping them in the cold night carrying such sensual touch. His calculations hadn’t prepared him for the sudden surge or the stiff rod poking out from under his dress. A heavy breath left Miles’ lips.
The touch left, Sonic was getting cold feet. Tails let the mask slip. She couldn’t allow herself to get overwhelmed and back out now, she had to be better.
Sonic needed her.
Correcting her mistake, a breathy moan left her lips. Its pitch as high as the tension was palpable.
“Tails, are you sure about this…?”
His eyes pierced hers, a hunger she hadn’t quite seen from the hedgehog. One that couldn’t be satiated by chili dogs.
“Because if we start, there’s no going back…”
Tails lied, her nod as basic as her disguise. Miles cried, but only on the inside. Sonic’s teeth nibbled into her neck, marking her as irrevocably his.
A whimper left her lips. She had accepted this, welcomed this.
Miles felt like his life was over. Tails’ ‘life’ had just begun in earnest.
Chapter 2: Think of me when you think of her
Chapter Text
The plunge sent painful shockwaves throughout her thigh. Without a ring to mend her pain, it was different. Raw. Exhilarating. She pushed into it, relishing in the self-forged pain. With a mechanical disregard, she tossed aside the needle and glanced into the mirror. The figure was unrecognizable to herself, her padded bra and sleeveless white crop top helped give the illusion of a lady’s bust, helped by her chest tuft which shamelessly poked out of her ‘cleavage’, the fashionably short red skirt held up by its blue belt and silver buckle tied around her waist left little to the imagination, bold blue panties hid her nethers to any would-be skirt teases, and the high-rise heeled white boots with that red streak added some inches to her height that made her appear with a far more mature stature than her undeveloped body could hope to on its own. Her appearance was suggestive, teasing but never revealing. The hoops she placed around her ears cemented that. They were golden and chaotic, exactly what Sonic praised. Every piece of her attire had been made to suit his tastes.
Anything for Sonic.
And soon, her body would reflect that.
A cold chill ran down Miles’ spine. His tails twitched, his eyes alert.
The person in the mirror was a stranger, and becoming more of one with each passing day.
With a loud thud, the door to Miles’ garish head-shaped house was torn through, a giant rip formed across its center. Tails flinched, it felt like thunder even if it wasn’t.
“Miles Prower!”
Turning her head to face the voice, Tails’ eyes locked with the flaming inferno of Sonic’s long-time stalker, Amy Rose.
“Actually, Amy, it’s just Tails now–”
“Don’t give me that!” She clenched her free fist, “I’d know what you are…” Her eyes elicited a hint of understanding, one that was freshly illuminated to Tails.
Without restraint, the fearsome fighter swung into the air with her hammer.
Tails couldn’t get hit. She didn’t have any rings. And Sonic would not want their date tonight to be ruined because of cleaning up after Amy’s anger.
Tails stepped aside faster than Amy could react. With sudden precision, Tails held the rose by its stem and lifted her into the air.
“This isn’t like you, you little freak!” She struggled against Tails’ grasp, attempting to swing her hammer, but Tails fought it off with her leverage against the hammer’s accompanying appendage. Tails gritted her teeth, “Leave me alone, Amy, I have more important things to deal with right now!” She hated saying that. Hated telling Amy off. Hated only seeing Amy at her worst and most jealous.
Was this all Amy would be to her now? Her light, her radiance, shunned from ever having the privilege of basking in its glow?
That was not a variable Tails had accounted for in her calculations.
With a tear ridden eye, she fought her feelings and her foe, and sent her tumbling across and out of her head home right through the door she came in.
“I’m not gonna let you steal Sonic from me!” Amy shouted. A righteous angel casting judgement down upon a sinner.
“He wasn't your’s.” The tension was palpable, brisking through the air. Her tails stood on edge. Tails couldn’t indulge her delusions of importance to Sonic.
Amy’s rage festered, impatiently stomping. It began with a swift rhythm and descended into a sprint as she rushed the fox again, swinging again. She was so predictable. Too predictable.
Tails swung into a ball and dodge dashed Amy. Glancing back at the confused hedgehog, Tails’ eyes lingered on her backside before swiftly kicking her into the air. Amy’s grip slipped and her hammer crashed upon her when she landed, knocking the rings out of her.
Her eyes were dizzy, hazy and confused. Amy had never been so thoroughly trounced by Tails before. She simply hadn’t given the kitsune a reason to do her dirty tricks.
Now she had.
Tails felt emotions, new emotions. Pride. Achievement. Sick, yet satisfying.
It was so overwhelming for her underdeveloped genius mind, rich with nutrients and new material.
“Get some help, Amy.”
Tails walked away, leaving the hedgehog alone to bask in her humiliation at the site of her lab.
The first ‘date’ of Tails’ life and it was just at a burger shop.
Not like she expected anything glamorous. She never did anything deserving of such extravagance. Thankfully, this was familiar territory. A trip with Sonic to the burger joint. Simple, right?
It would be if her heart would stop threatening to leap from her chest. Adrenaline coursed across her split spine, her two titular tails excitedly wagging as she awaited the arrival of her hero outside the burger shop.
The world famous Sonic the Hedgehog.
Her best friend.
Miles’ ‘brother’.
Her boyfriend, if she played her cards right.
A thought threatened to leave her lips, but found itself stuck. Caught beneath cold feet and the sacrifices she made to play for checkmate rather than a draw.
A gambit. That’s what she had done. This was her chance to improve her position and outplay her opponent.
So why’d she start to panic now that she was low on time as the clock struck 8. Why had her calculations been thrown aside in favor of ‘if’s and ‘what’s?
“Hey, Tails!” Sonic cheerfully greeted her with a wave and a smile.
“Sonic!” She rushed up to him, her arms shamelessly embracing him in a hug. A pleasure she long denied herself.
Be useful, don’t be pushy like Amy, don’t get in the way of Sonic’s fling-of-the-week.
The last one wasn’t a concern anymore.
The pitfall she had to fly out of was ending up just another one of them. Sweat fell from Tails’ brow as Sonic held her close to his heart.
“Woah, slow down, Tailsy…”
She had messed up again, hadn’t she? Wearing her heart on her sleeve, acting on impulse. This wasn’t part of anything Miles had planned.
“No need to get antsy, it’ll be just like old times.” He pinched the tuft of her cheek, playfully messing with her as he tugged at the tuft of her muzzle. It hurt.
She laughed. She hated it but she laughed. He could do as he pleased as long as she was a decoration he appreciated on his wall, a pristine poster.
Be useful, Tails.
She released her grip and tread on ahead, getting the door for him as any good servant should. He walked in without a care in the world, whistling his worries away, before asking with an open palm, “Hey, Tails, think ya could get me a triple bacon hammy? I could use something besides chili.” He stretched, cracking his knuckles and working out his joints in the middle of the restaurant without a care in the world. She couldn’t help but stare at his muscular physique, eyes drawn to his toned body as foreign thoughts flooded her mind. Closeness. Love. Attention.
Things she had proven herself unworthy of. Yet nonetheless desired. An undeserving and conniving morning star that craved heaven’s embrace.
“Hello, earth to Tails, ya there?” He teased, waving in front of her face. Oh no. She blew it. She spaced out. She shouldn’t be doing that. That’s not what Sonic wanted at all.
“Y-Yes, Sonic, sorry, I–”
Sonic playfully rolled his eyes and patted her on the shoulder, sending electric jingles down her spines. “Hey, I know, and don’t worry.” Tails’ breath hitched itself in her throat, shaking at Sonic’s suggestion. “We’ll have plenty of time for that when we get home.” A barely audible whimper left her lips, she couldn’t contain her excitement. Her eyes were as bright as the burning inferno nestled deep inside her sinner’s soul.
“Okay, Sonic!” Chipper compliance was all she could do, as she walked up to the cashier to order. She just copied Sonic’s order, like usual.
Not like much had changed. Sonic and Tails, getting lunch together. Normal.
Stupid Tails. Quit being weird. Don’t let Sonic reduce you to a piece of meat just because you’re out getting pieces of meat together.
The two seated themselves at the table, Sonic eagerly munched into his food, mumbling, “Not bad.” His voice muffled by the food still in his mouth.
“What do you think?” Noticing Tails hadn’t touched her food, calling attention to it.
A bite. She could do that. She earned it. Had to have if she got Sonic’s eyes on her and he was asking for her opinion for once.
Her tails excitedly flicked. With eager ambition, she seized the delicacy and chomped her hungry fox teeth into it, flashing her cute fangs to Sonic and tearing into the flesh.
Wonderful. Mythical. Vibrant.
“Oh, it’s amazing, Sonic!” She said, eyes wide, begging with her palms held together as she leaned into the table, “Could we please come here again some time, pretty please?”
Sonic patted her head, ruffling her fur. But she didn’t mind, she loved it. Loved receiving all this attention from her beloved.
“Sure thing, lil bud. Tell ya what, how about we make a habit of it?”
An energetic nod was all she had to say. She was reserved with her future bites into her burger and fries, but no less excited. Her tongue was full of a fresh palette of flavors, and her world’s palette had grown comparatively bright in turn.
Her eyes remained fixed on his, locked in silent adoration as they steadily ate their respective meals in one another’s company.
When they finished their food, Tails got up and put away their trays and threw out the drinks for him before meeting him at the door.
“Thank you so much, Sonic!”
“Heh, I should be thanking you. You’re the one who paid.” He flashed a naive smirk.
“Oh, right.”
Tails flushed red, embarrassed. Holding her palm next to her chin as she looked up to Sonic.
The two left into the streets of Station Square and Tails took a moment to reminiscence. This was good. Today went well. Their first date was the things dreams were made of.
She wouldn’t let this go. She couldn’t live without this.
She couldn’t live without him.
He swept her up into his arms, his palms enclosed around her torso. She was his property and she couldn’t be happier. She clung to his chest. Her starstruck gaze stuck on him, her tails curled around his embrace.
“Wow…”
“Cute!” He boasted while carrying her through the familiar streets back to her lab. Their lab.
She could say that now. It was magical. He was magic.
He placed her down on his race car bed. She hadn’t been here since she was a kid.
… well since she met him, unbirthdays be damned.
It was so romantic. Something out of a fairy tale.
Tails never thought she’d experience this…
At least not like this. Not as the princess being carried by her hero. Miles’ fantasies were far more contemporary. Grounded in biological realities.
He landed across her, holding her close to his chest.
“I-I thought you weren’t one for mushy stuff…”
“It’s different when I’m in bed with such a cute girl.”
Oh, Totoya. That handsome hedgehog always knew how to hug at her heartstrings.
The fact he could love a beast as freaky and evil as her made her heart coo to his tune. New territory.
She welcomed it with open arms, nuzzling softly against him, her twin tails wrapped around his torso wrapping him into a firm embrace.
“Heh, never thought it’d feel so great to be with you, Tails… You really were onto something.”
He teased, his hand trailing across her back down to her hips, groping her pert butt in his handful embrace.
Speechless. That’s how Sonic made her feel. There were no words to describe the emotions he inspired in her. And if there were, they had not appeared in any of her dry scientific journals. She gasped.
“Aww, hedgehog’s got your tongue?” He licked across her cheek, his skilled touch drove her wild.
“I can’t quite hear you.”
He wanted her to beg. Wanted her to demand to be violated like a slut.
Miles wouldn’t have taken this blatant disrespect.
Tails welcomed it with a puppy dog smile.
“P-Please, Sonic… I need you.”
“That’s a good girl.” He praised, his caress was warm and welcoming, inviting her back home. A place she’d never been before, but knew well and desperately longed for.
His fingers wormed their way into her panties, sliding them down and prodding at her unprotected rear. His muscled touch was enough to excite. Her cock was already firmly planted against the fabric of her soft skirt. Her legs trembled and her tails fell weakly onto the bed.
“S-Sonic…”
“Yeah, bud?”
“I love you.” It was a heartfelt declaration. One of warmth. One of joy. She saw what Amy desired now, and she had it for herself.
She’d never let it go.
“Mhmmm… I know.” Sonic’s fingers pierced their way up into her insides.
Not the first time she had a sudden jolt of pain penetrate her today.
But this was so much more prevalent.
It felt real. Raw. Primal.
“Yuuhuuuu–”
“Who’s my cute little fox?” He praised as he plowed her uncharted field, ruining her. Every. Single. Second. Electric bursts of pain and shock pierced her sphincter. Her prostate was on fire. Warm, alive, and destructively hot.
Exactly the hell a sinner like her deserved.
She gave a saccharine smile as he tugged and prodded at her muzzle with those free fingers, the rest cramming deep up her interior.
She’d make a fine puppet.
And she was happy being one.
As long as she got to be his partner.
Forever.
Tails broke the silence. “I am! I love being your cute kitsune, Sonic!” She stuck her tongue out, passing a peace-sign to her heartbound.
“Yuhuhuhuhu…. Yuuhuuu! Yuhhhh…” Her voice descended into a series of incomprehensible fox whimpers. She was at his mercy, his toy, and it was an intoxicating pain that preyed on her most forbidden desires.
Pathetic slut.
“That’s my girl.” He praised with those vibrant emerald eyes that Tails couldn’t keep hers off of. What a lovely master.
Whore.
He loomed down to her neck, gracing her with hickeys and painful bites, staining her with his touch.
The napalm inferno punishing her nethers and his savage bites made her squeal.
With pain.
With pure ecstasy.
She was a leaking mess.
He pulled back. His close presence was gone. The embers of the fire still rumbled throughout her core. But the torture was over.
Thank Totoya.
Tails looked on with needy betrayed eyes. Had she done something wrong? Why would he back away?
Oh. That.
She was face to face with his meat. It was so impressive, especially compared to her petite and diminutive figure.
A loud moan left her lips at the sheer insinuation of it ruining her.
“Y’know, Tailsy. I’ve never had a girl who wouldn’t complain about my foreplay before.”
Is that supposed to be a compliment? Disgusting.
“R-Really, Sonic?”
“Yeah, but hey, guess we’ll see if you end up nagging like Madonna after I get my chili dog coleslaw’d.”
Amy would’ve been so much more refined.
Tails whimpered, adjusting and presenting herself from behind, lifting her tails so he had a proper view.
She glanced back, he was salivating at the sight like a predator hunting his prey.
Suddenly, his hands slammed onto her hips, an audible slap reverberated through the air as her sore ass prepared for what was next.
Yes.
She deserved this.
All of this.
With a brutal slam, the fires ignited with renewed fervor.
Hold back your tears, Tails. Bite your lip. Don’t let him see you scared.
Rough muffled screams of ecstasy were all she said, torn between her desires to appease the hedgehog who had become her reason for being and her limits.
She’d broken them before for him, been beaten and bruised to the point of utter exertion, what’s another time?
Anything for Sonic.
At least Sonic was having ‘fun’, with his hips pressed against hers, mounted as he tore into her flesh and cemented their unbreakable union. Intruding. Repeatedly breaking her. Harder with each thump. The most carnal imitation of mating, and all she was serviceable for to a man of his tastes.
He whispered sweet nothings into her ear, marking those too with his signature stinging bites. No part of her was free of his touch, she was his, and that’s all she ever would be.
Tails the Fox, Sonic the Hedgehog’s bitch.
Forever in his shadow.
Forever eclipsed.
Tails smiled despite the aches that erupted through her.
She made peace with being worthless a long time ago.
But now? She had meaning.
An eternal bond.
It was going to be a long night and happily ever after.
