An 100 Word Drabble TNS and LAF Pride Collection

Notes:

Starting this on the 11th isn’t the best idea, but I’m hoping to post one drabble each day. (Meaning I’ll also make up for the 10 I missed.) So, feel free to comment any ships you want to see.

Chapter 1: Can We Just Talk? (Joah)

He erased what he had typed, not sure if it would be a good idea to send. Noah had been doing that for the past hour. Sat in his bed, the very one that started all this.

Relationships within their group weren’t exactly running high at the moment. But, he thought Michelle running away from Eldon at the alter would be the only drama of the day.

That was, until him and James had a bit too much to drink and headed back to Noah’s hotel room. He had initiated it, and he guessed he could do that again.

“Hey, can we talk? - Noah”

Chapter 2: Lunch (Juke)

John made a face as he put the spoon back down, telling Luke all he needed to know.

“You hate it, don’t you?”

“No, no.” His boyfriend tried to deny it.

“Yes you do! Did I put too much butter, or seasoning in it, or-“

“It’s not that.” John sighed. “I just don’t think I like soup that much.”

That stopped Luke’s rambling. Silently, he picked up his bowl, and went into their living room.

“I don’t think this relationship is going to work out.” He called back.

The beanie-clad boy playfully rolled his eyes.

“You really dumping me over soup?”

“Yep!”

Chapter 3: Numbers and Figures (Zacquie)

Zara looked at the scribbling mess of a page that her girlfriend had left behind. The two of them didn’t share all the same classes in their course, but she thought she’d have some idea of what she was reading. However, it looked more like a witch’s spell than anything.

“Jack, what am I looking at here?” She called to the kitchen.

Jacquie poked her head around the corner, an eyebrow raised.

“Just my chemistry notes. Why?”

“No reason” The taller girl went back to her own studying, used to the explosive process of the younger girl’s work by now.

Chapter 4: Alone Again (Xeath)

Heath didn’t know what he was going to do with himself now. In just one day, both his best-friend and boyfriend had been kicked from A-Troupe. Daisy said that she was learning to accept it, but he just couldn’t.

He hadn’t seen Xander for a few hours. The younger boy had gone home and he hadn’t messaged him since. He really hoped that this wasn’t going to mess with their relationship. But, who knows…

Turning his back on studio-a, he braced for what tomorrow had to bring.

Chapter 5: Before You Go (Pipeather)

And then she was gone. Miss Angela had only been at the studio a day and she was already driving people out. Out too soon.

She should’ve told her. But, she didn’t know her time would be up as quick as this.

Piper had wanted to settle back into The Next Step first after their almost month long breath. When she did, than she would confess.

That opportunity was gone now. Heather would be going to college in a few weeks, not knowing how her friend truly felt.

Chapter 6: Count The Teeth (Jetiana)

“How do you still have any left?” Ariana giggled at the photo she was holding.

“Okay, I didn’t lose that many teeth.” Jett retorted, sat on her couch.

“Really? Cause it looks like a cave was made in 7-year-old you’s mouth.”

The older girl playfully rolled her eyes and took back the frame from her girlfriend.

“Hockey is a violent game. Younger me could already take a hit. You have to be strong to be on top. She knew what was up.”

Chapter 7: Parents (Maeva)

“Won’t your mom be pissed about this?” Mary asked, moving the razor once again.

“That’s the point.” Eva replied where she sat in-front of her.

“So, you’re cutting your hair short just as a middle finger to her? Don’t get me wrong, love this daring nature on you. But isn’t this a bit too much of a risk.”

“Eh, I’ve wanted to try it short for awhile now anyway. Especially after I tried dying it red that time. Making her mad is just a bonus.”

“Alright then.” Mary finished off, taking a big chunk of hair off with another swipe.

Chapter 8: Gorgeous (Pascizzy)

“I’d say, kiss Pascale, marry Heath, kill Jett.” Izzy answered, to some various reactions.

“Dude, what the heck?! Why am I the one going six feet under?!” Jett retorted.

“Hey, it’s nothing personal. Heath and I have just already agreed that, if we’re both still single in the future, we’ll marry for tax benefits.” Izzy out their hands up.

“And the kissing me part?” Pascale asked.

“I’m pretty sure everyone in A-Troupe has just agreed that you’re gorgeous.”

Chapter 9: Corner (Thames [QPR])

Theo plopped down on one of the occupied beanbags in the room. Michelle had texted John, so he knew they were going to be taking an indefinite break until Luke was able to help him message back.

“I don’t get how you people deal with all this romantic junk.” His partner chuckled and draped an arm around his shoulder.

“Mostly by eating a ton of ice-cream whenever it goes wrong.” James explained, pulling him closer to rest Theo’s head on his shoulder.

The younger boy’s eyes widened at that.

“Why did nobody tell me about this before?!”

Chapter 10: They Don’t Deserve You (Richiper)

“You know he’s being overdramatic, right?”

Piper stopped her tapping on the counter.

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Finn” Richelle clarified. “He’s making you anxious just because of some old commercial.”

“Yeah, but he trusted me to keep it a secret.”

“And? Lots of people keep secrets for different reasons. Heck, everyone in this room has a couple. But, ours are actually important.

“Boo hoo, now we all know that he was in a famous ad that everyone saw and probably got paid a ton. His life is so tragic.”

Piper couldn’t help giggling at that.

“Thanks, Richelle.”

“Anytime.”

Chapter 11: He’s Coming Out (Andele [Bi4Bi])

“Adele, I need to say something.” Anthony started, sat on her couch.

“Oh, sure. What is it?”

“You…um…know how both Heath and Pascale are bi and stuff.”

“Yes?” She cocked an eyebrow.

“Well, so am I…” He took in a breath as he finished.

“Oh wait really? Cool! So am I!”

That was not what he was expecting…

“You are?!” He yelped.

“Yeah! Honestly forgot I never told you.” She giggled, cuddling into his side.

And than more came.

“Kinda realised it near the start of middle school when Olive and I dated for, like, three weeks of something.”

Chapter 12: One Kiss (Cliper)

The two of them went off by themselves to a meadow near the park.

Piper placed a daisy-chain on Clara’s head.

“Pretty” The young red-head giggled in a high-pitched, 6-year-old voice.

“Like you”

Clara was pretty, so she just said it. Simple.

“That’s what my step-brother says to his girlfriend, and then kisses her. Giselle says it shows how people like each-other.”

“I like you though? Should we kiss then?”

“If you want to.”

And as the two leaned in, that moment would become ingrained in both of their minds, for many years, as their first kiss.

Chapter 13: Whistle While You Work (Samy)

Due to how she stood up to Miss Angela, Amy and Noah had decided to help Summer with her punishment of cleaning mirrors.

Though, it seemed like Noah was doing most of the work at this point.

Summer’s giggles went around studio-a as Amy tickled her sides. The brunette noticed Amy had missed a spot, so decided to get it for her. Leaving herself exposed.

Amy hadn’t dated anyone since Latroy. With her finally sorting things out with her mom though, Noah could see her becoming comfortable on the team again. Especially with a certain new girl.

Chapter 14: Fix You (Heathoah)

“Think of it this way, you’re the first person to be in our new nurse’s office.” Said Noah.

Another day, another way Ozzy pisses Heath off. This was one of those rare times it actually got physical though.

“Yay me” Heath mumbled.

“Hey” Noah came closer to where he was sitting on the table. “Don’t worry about today. I doubt Michemily are mad at you, seeing as Ozzy started it. If they are, I’ll talk to them.”

Their close proximity and the way he rubbed Heath’s cheek before leaving had the other boy blushing by the time the nurse arrived.

Chapter 15: Raise Your Glass (Magchel)

“Here you go. Raspberry, right?”

Rachel looked down at the plastic bottle that Maggie had just handed her in Java Junction.

“Uh, yeah. That’s it. Thank you.”

“No biggie.” Maggie smiled at her.

She couldn’t remember ever telling the fedora-clad girl her favourite flavour. Had Maggie just picked up on it by herself?

It was different to Leai. Rachel couldn’t remember a time where she wasn’t having kale juice instead, which she hated, just because Leai loved it and said it would help her voice.

It was small, but she found herself trying to hold back tears at the gesture.

Chapter 16: Something Strange (Gisanda)

An odd noise filled the space of their table as Amanda made an off-handed joke. Only after a moment did she realise that the noise was coming out from Giselle.

“Sorry, sorry.” The red-head waved a hand. “I know, my laugh is weird.”

“No, don’t worry. It’s actually…uh, nice.”

“Really? Don’t think anyone’s ever said that about it before.”

The brunette ducked her head, trying to rip off the smile that had emerged. She didn’t have time for this. Lucien had tasked her at taking down this team. She couldn’t fall through.

Even if Giselle’s laugh was adorable.

Chapter 17: Somebody’s Watching Me (Theoah)

He could sense him moving behind him. Noah had closed his eyes just to humour Theo. Anything he did wouldn’t shock him.

“Enjoy the track” The older boy whispered in his ear. To his surprise, Noah didn’t jump or anything, just turned to him, bored.

“What? I thought that would scare you.”

“Yeah, you’re gonna have to try harder than that, Theodore.” Noah patted his cheek before hopping off the stool. “Thanks for the song back though. I appreciate it.”

Theo watched him go, a light blush beginning to grow on his face.

Chapter 18: What Is This Feeling? (Huntames)

The two pulled apart after the selected time. Hunter had a smirk on his face, while James tried to not meet his eyes.

Everyone else cheered, while a few whistled. But the drummer just ignored them. He should’ve known something like this could happen when he agree to play Spin the Bottle.

James just hadn’t anticipated kissing the guy he was trying so hard to hate.

He owed that much to Eldon. Being his best-friend and knowing that Hunter had screwed him over entirely. At-least in the blonde’s eyes.

And yet, he couldn’t help liking it.

Chapter 19: Issues (Leiachel)

Rachel sighed as she swiped out of her messages once again. Still no reply.

It wasn’t even any sort of deal. Her and Maggie had just been hanging out at the mall. But of course Leai had to spin that into some sort of proof that Rachel was cheating on her.

Nobody would blame her if she was really, and didn’t understand why she stuck with her all these years. Her girlfriend always did this.

And as she lay on her bed, scrolling through pictures of them, Rachel was starting to wonder why too.

Chapter 20: Nothing Left to Lose (Richacquie)

TNS West had won the battle. Sure, they held auditions for alternates, but she hadn’t made it into either of those positions.

This was all Richelle had.

Trying to hold in her breath, she watched as the Gemini brothers talked to each-other. Next to them was Jacquie, who had joined over a month prior, after losing the battle.

“Impressive. But, this isn’t TNS anymore, Richelle. Let’s see what they decide.” She whispered in her ear as she came over.

A tingle washed over her as the brunette retreated, but she tried to shake it off.

Chapter 21: Faded (Jescale)

“Pascale’s great. I love Pascale.”

She had tried to say it casually, and pulled it off. If only Heath knew the truth of it all.

Yes, Jett did think it would hurt the other girl if Heath kept this secret from her while they were dating. Being entirely honest though, part of it was just pure jealousy.

It had been too long. Despite her thinking Pascale was gorgeous as soon as she met her, the other girl had drifted more towards Heath. Jett had waited too long to get closer to her, and she had missed her chance.

Chapter 22: Watching You (Jordlive)

She had come to the school just to watch Adele’s track meet. It wasn’t for a competition or anything, but Olive just liked to support her best-friend in her other hobbies.

However, the cheer team had also been practicing their own routines. Olive couldn’t help watching them and be impressed.

That was when their leader, (She later learned her name was Jordan), caught her eyes. She raised an eyebrow, but then winked, causing the younger girl’s face to flush.

Chapter 23: In Your Eyes (Gethan)

“You wear glasses?”

He had put them on to read something on his phone without thinking about it. Ethan tapped the side of them, then looked over to Gui, who was laying beside him on the bed.

“Oh…yeah. Not often. Just when I read.” Ethan went to take them off, feeling embarrassed. But, then Gui lightly touched his wrist.

The older boy leaned in and pecked him.

“Don’t, you look cute.”

Huh? Maybe Ethan should appreciate his poor eyesight a bit more.

Chapter 24: Just Close Your Eyes (Hete)

Heath finished off reading the chapter out loud, just noticing the small sounds of breathing next to him. Looking over, he saw Pete had fallen to sleep. His head was resting on the shorter boy’s shoulder.

The brunette smiled softly at him and kissed his boyfriend’s forehead. He was glad he could take Pete’s attention away from the pain in his knee. As-well as his heart from no longer being able to dance in The Brawl.

Chapter 25: Won’t You Stay? (Xonah)

“Please don’t go.”

Xander stopped packing up his bag as Jonah spoke up. He didn’t want to hurt him. To just abandon the relationship the two had built together since he joined B-Troupe.

But, with them all finding out that there wasn’t going to be any auditions for the Regionals team, he couldn’t stay. He wouldn’t make it in the dance world if he did.

Turning back around, he brought the younger boy in for a kiss. One final goodbye.

“I’m sorry Jonah…but, I have to.”

Chapter 26: Shoutout to My Ex (Graciana)

Working with her ex to get into The Brawl wasn’t the best situation to find herself in, but Grace knew she needed to push through it. Even if it was making things uncomfortable.

Her and Ariana went through their section together, barely able to make eye-contact. Grace wanted to say something, but she didn’t know what that could be.

As soon as she settled on just a quick “hello”, Heath was calling for a break. Ariana bolted from her side immediately. Leaving her ex in the dust as she went off with Jett.

Chapter 27: Jealousy (Dizzy)

Izzy tried to ignore the way that Daisy’s face lit up whenever she was texting Heath. They had thought the two were just friends at first. But, as it went on, they knew there was more to it.

Having never felt this pit in their stomach before, they called Ozzy about it. He was able to make sense of it pretty quickly.

Sometimes Izzy wished he hadn’t. They really liked Daisy. And they didn’t want this stupid jealousy to mess with their friendship.

So, they just sat there, letting the black-haired girl fall away from them.

Chapter 28: Too Long (Neldon)

Buying Cha Cha’s had been a way for him to follow his passion while still keeping in touch with his old students. At-least, that’s what Nick had been telling himself.

Anytime he saw Eldon come in with Michelle, he busied himself in the back.

He should’ve done it. Should’ve just asked him out while he was still available.

Now, it was too late. Maybe someone new woukd start working at Cha Cha’s that he would get on with.

But for now, he hid his heartbreak in baking.

Chapter 29: Your Secret’s “Safe” (Heascale [Trans Heath])

All his friends said it wasn’t necessary, that he didn’t owe her this information. But, Heath felt as if he wouldn’t be able to breath properly until he did.

But, then the news about him The Brawl came out.

“Is this what you wanted to tell me? That you’ve been lying to me this whole time?”

He tried to explain to Pascale why he had done it, and that it wasn’t the thing that he was talking about.

Now he was stood in one of the boys showers, fingers trailing the scars under his chest. Tears rolling down his face.

Chapter 30: Back for You (Michemily)

Things had never been like this with Emily. Sure, they fought. But, both were mature and could talk things out.

Eldon had been giving her the cold shoulder for weeks now. And for what? Trying to save The Next Step. While all he did was whined and sat in his office.

Emily would’ve understood. Heck, she probably would’ve encouraged Michelle to take part in the brawl. It wasn’t like when she wanted to buy the studio together. She’d understand Michelle’s reasoning. And in the end, she had supported her new dream anyway.

So, why did she ever leave that…

Sorry there isn’t much LAF ones in the final 10. TNS obviously released their last season and that’s all I could focus on…
