The Ascension of Dragon Queen Iris

Summary:

After taking severe injuries freeing Pokemon from a poacher, Iris finds herself wishing she truly had the strength of a dragon, to better protect Unova. Fortunately, one of her rescued captives can grant her wish, beyond her wildest dreams.

But every blessing comes with a price.

Work Text:

We cut over to the backroad of Route 22 of Unova, heading away from Humilau City and moving on route to pass around the Giant Chasm.  On this backroad is a small truck, camouflaged to blend into the various shrubberies it's moving to, it's engine humming at a low pace.  Driving the truck is a fairly tail, well-built man wearing a black jacket with overcoat, black pants and black steel toed boots with a sleek black helmet covering over half of his face though through the goggles you could still see his steely determined eyes as he continued his drive through the landscape.  His focus despite having driven for what was hour upon hours was the road in front of him and his goal, feeling fairly confident nothing would get in the way of that.

That feeling was interrupted though as he noticed a knocking on the window of his truck.  He looked to the side confused seeing a figure pressing themselves on the glass.  "Excuse me, Mr. Criminal" said the figure revealed to be Iris (in her Journeys battle dress complete with crown), with a confident smirk on her face.  "Are you going to pull over, or am I going to have to get rough on ya?"

Without showing any emotion the man simply throttled a higher gear of his truck, knocking back Iris as he continued charging forward through the foliage.

Despite falling from the side of the truck Iris was able to grab onto a vine on the side of one of the trees, quickly swinging from it as she moved higher up from vine to vine.  "They always gotta do things the hard way" she said, a giddiness in her voice as she rode on the vines, effortlessly jumping and swaying from tree to tree, actually catching up with the truck which now having gone further into the brush was having to weave around various trees and small rock formations.  Iris took a swig of a particularly large vine, giving a variation of a Tarzan yell as she rode it down, her velocity increasing while still wearing that very confident grin.

The man who was so determined to continue his mission didn't give any notice to Iris... that is until the young lady literally broke through the front side window of his truck with a dynamic kick.  "Geh" The man muttered out, looking more annoyed then surprised or even worried, Iris's kick knocking him to the other side of the front of the truck.

"Wow, a thief and a horrid driver" Iris pointed out with a cocky grin gesturing at the seatbelt the man hadn't worn that she quickly tied around herself.  "What a terrible combination" she said, quickly doing a full 180 turn on the wheel, the truck starting to spin out of control, hitting one of the nearby trees, causing the man to now fully roll out the passenger's side of his own vehicle.

The guy quickly adjusted himself before landing, dusting himself off with a very sour expression as he saw iris peel off her seatbelt before jumping out of the truck to face him.  "I take it you don't know who I am" the main said, his eyes squinting with only the slight hint of emotion on his face.

"Oh I'm very well aware of you Pokémon Hunter Bristol" Iris said confidently folding her arms below her chest looking up at the man.  "One of the highest ranked level thieves in the world, which happens to be trying to move some of his goods through MY region thinking he can get away with it."

"I don't think I do" The Hunter, known as Bristol said shown taking a Pokeball off his belt.

"You DID, but not anymore" Iris said spinning around dramatically.  "For you see, I don't think you know who YOU'RE messing with" she then pointed at herself.  "You're dealing with one of THE Top 8 Trainers, The legendary Dragon Master of all of Unova, Iris!"  She said imitating slicing the space right in front of her, as if she had claws, and biting the air, still with a carefree smile on her face.

"You're not a dragon."

"I am in spirit!"  She said rather defensively.  "I have the heart, the soul, and the fire of one, and you're going to feel all three unless you release all those Pokémon you poached peacefully and turn yourself over to the local Jennies."

"Not happening" Bristol adjusted his glasses looking over at his truck scanning it some as he released a rather dark painted variant of Klinklang, launching its spikes around the truck, powerful electricity surging around the vehicle.  "It will take Klinklang two minutes to repair all the damage you caused" He then took out another Pokeball, a rather tall and fierce Aggron emerging form it, the beast roaring.  "While Aggron pays you back, in BLOOD."

"Oooh bad idea matching steel against the power of the mighty dragon Iris" said grabbing one of her Pokeballs.  "Let's go-"

"Metal Claw" Bristol ordered, the gigantic armored Pokémon instantly appearing in front of Iris, shocking the dragon trainer as it then clawed her hard in the face, sending her tumbling along the ground.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Iris screamed out in pain, having dropped her Pokeball as she slowly tried to stand up.  "You can't cheat-"

"Iron Head" Bristol said simply, the Aggron appearing once again in front of Iris this time delivering a powerful head-butt with its exoskeleton steel head, piercing her hard in the stomach as the girl crumbled instantly.

"GUH-AH" Iris coughed out a fair amount of blood along with some teeth, noticing her left arm was totally crushed, her right barely allowing her to stand halfway up, the rest of her body feeling limp as she could barely look up at the beast.

"What's a matter dragon?" Bristol asked, for once personality entering his voice as a sick sadistic intention echoed from his lips as he looked down at the broken young trainer, tears springing from her face as she barely kept her arm holding up the rest of her body.  "Where's that spirit and flame you were bragging about?"

"You... you... cheater!"  Iris was able to scream out, her lungs feeling punctured as she coughed again, more blood spurting out of her mouth.

"Iron Tail" Bristol said simply, Aggron's tail glowing quickly for a moment as it spun around hitting Iris hard in the chest as she rolled along the ground once more, this time her arm too banged up and in pain to hold up her body as she was now on her back, moaning in pain as Aggron slowly made his way towards her.  "Just like you stupidly confuse yourself for some kind of beast, you confuse me for a trainer who cares about rules and regulations in regards to encounters" Bristol commented, Aggron now once more stomping in front of iris, the beast's sadistic smile matching it's trainer.  "True strength in battle is simply about who hits and decimates their opponent first, nothing else.  And speaking of nothing..."  Bristol snapped his fingers, Iris hearing another sound approach her before Bristol gave his Pokémon the move he intended to finish his foe.  "Hyper Beam."

"AGG" Aggron roared before energy charged around his mouth, a powerful explosive beam of energy lowering down.  Iris saw a flash of a figure before a small explosion of white and yellow energy hit the ground, causing a mass of steam that dissipated revealing nothing.

"Kling" Klinklang said, Bristol looking over to see the truck fully repaired glowing with hot white energy.

Bristol quickly took out his Pokeballs, returning his two Pokémon to them as he quickly rushed over to the truck.  "This detour's already cost me 5 minutes too many" he muttered out, quickly remembering Iris being battered along the ground as a small smirk appeared on his face.  "Though at least I got something from the break" he quickly said, jumping back in the repaired truck as it drove off from the area at high speeds, Bristol determined to make up for the time he lost...

Meanwhile above the line of trees far away from the Pokémon Hunter's truck and line of sight a figure could be seen flying with the still injured, beaten down iris.  This was revealed to be her Dragonite as it looked down sadly at its trainer.  "Gur-ah?" It asked concern all over its face.

"I'....I'll be fine" Iris was able to mutter out, biting her lip some to try and hold in the pain as she tried looking down.  "Did... did you get him?"

"Rah!"  Dragonite proclaimed, holding up the Pokeball that Iris had tried throwing previously.

"Good boy" she said, Dragonite holding onto the ball with its tail as Iris couldn't hold it.  "Excadrill's been one of our Thunder Flight for so long couldn't lose him to that..." Iris screeched out in agony once more, Dragonite trying to hold her more tenderly as Iris saw a tear come to the light orange skinned Pokémon.  "It's okay I'll... be okay" she whimpered out, not even fully sure herself, but tried to remain positive as she turned to look in his eyes.  "Just need to go somewhere to rest."

"Ruh ah?"  Dragonite asked.

"Yeah probably be... best somewhere avoiding running into... him again" Iris admitted, not wanting to sound defeated as Dragonite started flying off as she thought for a moment, trying to think of someone to avoid the pain as she then remembered something.  "Hey you... accomplish your mission pal?"

"Ruh hah" Dragonite said, revealing a couple of other Pokeballs he had kept under his folds.

"Good boy" she said.  "At least something good came from... distracting that creep" she said recalling as how she was diverting Briston's attention claiming her dragon status, Dragonite, who she had released even before she had knocked on the Hunter's window, had opened the backdoor of the truck, grabbing various of the stolen Pokémon trapped in Briston's special dark hunter Pokeballs from the truck. Before exiting and flying to save her.   Iris tried giving her partner an encouraging thumbs up, but felt she couldn't even move the fingers on her hand.  "Could... could you please release them for me then? I I would but..."

"Ruh" Dragonite complied, flicking and moving its claw quickly to release the trapped Pokémon in that Hunter's special dark Pokeballs.  One was the legendary Electric Bird Zapdos, another the Legendary Dog Suicine, another that was right outside of Iris's blurry and busted field of vision, one of the lake guardians Uxie, as well as one of the Swords of Justice, Terrakion.

"Sorry... sorry you guys got taken" Iris managed to whimper out, not noticing the other released Pokémon start to glow behind the other four.  "Wish I could just... send you guys back home..." she looked confused seeing the four instantly disappear right in front of her in a flash.  "Wait... wha-"

'Wish to be healed'    A voice in her mind politely requested, making Iris look around confused. 'Trust me I wish no harm to you, quite the opposite in fact.'

Iris thought for a moment coughing out a bit more blood.  "Not like I can be... more harmed" she winced, before speaking again.  "I wish to... be healed..." suddenly she felt a powerful white aura of light appear around her being.

"Rah?"  Dragonite looked up confused the white light twirling around the trainer he was holding as in an instant Iris was totally recovered, any visible sign of injury on her body having totally been cleared away, even her formerly blooded and ruined dress as shiny as it had been the day she bought it now, as he looked at the sight of his partner in a bit of disbelief.  "Rah, rah?"

Iris gasped, quickly jumping up so she was now on Dragonite's back, clasping and unclasping her hands several time before holding them up as she roared proudly spinning around Dragonite.  "I'm healed!"  She proclaimed proudly, laughing some before quickly falling back, grabbing onto Dragonite as she hugged him tightly again.  "I'm healed buddy I'm good as new!"

"Rah, rah!"  The Dragonite said happily hugging her back before looking confused.  "Roar?"

"Yeah I.... I don't know how either" Iris admitted rubbing her head.

'Well that would be me'  said the voice that had been in Iris's head, the dragon and her trainer turning to look to see a Pokémon flying behind them revealed to be Jirachi who waved politely. 'Greetings champion Iris and partner Dragonite.  Pleasure to meet your acquaintance.'

"Yeah you too" Iris said looking over at the little mythical partner confused rubbing her chin.  "Uh...'

Jirachi giggled some.  'It's okay.  I know you aren't familiar with a lot of Pokémon outside of your region.'  Jirachi looked around.  'Admittedly I haven't been to Hoenn in thousands of years and may not have returned in ages if not otherwise forced to."

Iris thought a moment snapping her fingers.  "Ah, so you were one of the Pokémon that jerk hunter caught."

Jirachi nodded his head.  "Indeed.  I did not wish to peer in the mind of my fellow legendary spirits so I did not know exactly how they had been taken by the one called Bristol, but I had been in the middle of one of my average epic  thousand year naps in...' Jirachi paused for a moment.  'Uh, do you mind if I don't tell you where that is, right? It's a pretty private area I had hoped not to gather attention actually-'

"Oh no problem" Iris said nonchalantly.  "I don't like people knowing where I nap either, even if my longest one is just a thousand not too epic minutes."

Jirachi chuckled again before looking serious.  'The point was it was a secret area I believed to be save from disturbance by anyone, let alone humans with ill intent and before I realized it, I had managed to be taken by one of those Wicked dark draining Pokeballs even unable to properly slumber in such a place.'

Now it was Iris's turn to look peeved as she clenched her teeth.  'Ugh, I HATE those jerk Pokémon hunters so much!"  She said, extending her arm.  "They don't get you only properly challenge Pokémon to join your Thunder Flight in specific designated areas where they agree back to the challenge!  Not taken, especially cruelly and unfairly in the middle of their sleep” She said making a fist.  "I'm going to make sure that lousy Bristol jerk never tries something like that again.  I'm gonna-"

"Rah rah ruh ruh rah" Dragonite waved his arms defensively, looking worried.

Iris thought a moment recalling her last encounter and then sat back down on her partner's back, dejected.  "Oh right, shouldn't try go in like that.... again" she said looking down sadly.  "Its how a real dragon would but... guess I'm not that."

'Well, not yet at least' Jirachi said teasingly, twirling around Iris some.

"What do you mean by that?"  She asked, her attention once again drawn to the mythical Hoenn type.

'The thing is, every one thousand years I wake from my slumber to find the most special and needy of people to grant their inner most desires to' Jirachi explained its hands glowing.  'My powers allow me not only to telepathically read one's thoughts and respond to them, but to make them come true in reality, so long as it's what they wished for.'

Iris flexed her arm.  "Ah so that's how you were able to heal me up then."

'And transport the other Pokémon Bristol had stolen to their homes' Jirachi pointed out.  'I'm sure they would be thankful for what you did, well those of them who even like interacting with human to express gratitude.  However, for freeing me particularly of that hunter's capture, I knew I had to give you a little something extra.'

"Oooh like what?" Iris said sounding exited.

'Well whatever else you wish for Iris' Jirachi explained flying right in front of her.  'You have used two of your wishes already but there is still one that you can use to do whatever you want” His eyes glowed.  "I may have been reawakened early but my power still puts any request at legendary level.'

"Legendary eh?"  Iris said, thinking again back to her encounter with Bristol again, shivering a bit reliving the memory.

"What's a matter dragon?" She recalled Bristol asking, remembering the glee she saw in his eyes as she was being beaten.   "Where's that spirit and flame you were bragging about?"

"That creep dared question my spirit, my flame, my.... me” she said pointing to herself.  "In my true hearts of hearts I know what I am and how I feel but outside everyone always just sees this girl, this... kid who couldn't really back up her claims"  she rubbed her forehead.  "Even becoming champion, even trying to be the defender of the land I love I still can't be the being, the spirit I truly wish."  She then smiled at Jirachi.  "But maybe that's because I haven't truly been wishing to the right figure who could grant that wish."

'Well I am the specific legendary of wishes' Jirachi said with a smile it's tag fluttering in the breeze. 'So if that's what you want-'

"It is, in both body and mind but before I do..." she then pointed down to the ground.  "I have some people who I need to explain what's going on first so..."

Dragonite nodded.  "Rah" he said as he slowly floated to the ground, Iris still on his back as Jirachi followed after the two.

Iris then quickly released four Pokeballs in her hand as the rest of her team Exadrill, Haxorous, Emolga and Gible appeared.  "Hey guys" she said going over giving Exadrill a huge hug, the steel ground mole looking a bit confused but replicating the gesture.  "Wanted to give you a heads up as things are going to be well... different going forward."

"Exadrill?" The Pokémon asked confused.

"Oh of course we're not breaking up.  Thunder Flight for live! It's just that my life is going to be... different" she said pointing over at Jirachi.  "Found a friend whose going to help grant my deepest most personal wish."

"Emol Emolga Emolga?" Emolga asked.

Iris chuckled gently petting the flying squirrel on her ears, leaning down and kissing her forehead.  "Hey I'm already top dragon trainer around, but now I'm going for the spot of top dragon."

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr" Haxorus roared out.

Iris gently patted the Pokémon on the stomach.  "Hey you know I'm not trying to take your spot bud but this is a dream of mine even with you guys I never thought I'd be able to accomplish but now that it's here it's... one I want you to be a part of."  She then picked up Gible looking into his eyes.  "Considering all we've been through and how I've been there seeing you grow to your best, I hope you're fine seeing me become my best."

"Gible Gible" The small bipedal dragon esque shark said scratching his head.

"Trust me pal if this goes how I want you'll really see what I mean by best."  She then motioned the group over hugging all of them once more as they returned to gesture.  "I just want to say I love you guys and hope you're going to love the new me much as I love all of you."  The Pokémon still look confused but nodded, giving roars of support as Iris separated from them, moving back some.  "Thanks" she said looking up at Jirachi and smiling some.  "Well I don't want to keep you more from that thousand year nap of yours so if you're still looking to grant that one wish, I have it."

'I am and I appreciate it.  All you have done, and I know all you will do' Jirachi said glowing more as the marker on his face faded away (the two other little marks having disappeared from the other two wishes) his eyes glowing as he raised his small arms.  'SO SPEAK YOUR WISH CHAMPION IRIS AND IT SHALL BE GRANTED!'

"I wish to be the towering toughest dragon queen legendary protector of Unova!"  Iris exclaimed, her hands extending as far in the sky as they could.

'SO IT IS SPOKEN, SO IT SHALL BE!'    Jirachi let out a powerful burst of yellow light over Iris as slowly, her transformation began.

The first thing iris noticed was her rapidly increasing height.  "Woah, this feels incredible" The dragon champion mused, her barely five foot frame expanding to over 6 feet, then 7, then 8 in a matter of seconds.  However, a slight eek of shock made their way out of her lips as Iris approached nine feet, now fully feeling the pink and white champion's dress she had been wearing hit its absolute stretch limit, as it soon broke into pieces on the floor.  "Hey, I liked that outfit" Iris complained.

"Grrrrrrrrr" Haxorous let out a roar.

"Heh yeah guess true dragons don't need clothes" Iris commented, now rising over 10 feet tall.  Her shoes had also broken apart from her now expanded feet as the now over 12 foot young lady realized she was completely nude, even her panties and bra not having survived the growing process.  "Though I'm not really feeling that specific dragon touch" Iris commented, finally having stopped her growing at exactly 16 feet tall.  "Like where are the claws?" she asked, scrapping a bit of dirt that fell like a bag of sand to the ground, pouring over the torn clothing fragments still strewn on the ground.  "Or the fangs?" She inquired opening and stretching out her mouth still feeling her normal row of teeth as she glared over at Jirachi.  "I didn't ask to just be a giant you know."

'I know' The Hoenn legendary said sighing some.  'I'm doing each transformation in increments, both mentally and physically so you can enjoy becoming the form as much as possible' he waved his little hand.  'Trust me there is more to the wish then just growing' he narrowed his eyes some. 'Seriously even the other legendries think I just make a lot of macro wishes when there's usually far more to it than that.'

"Probably doesn't help if you always START with the Macro part" The Unova Champion pointed out, putting her hands on her hips.

'Allowing you to grow and adjust properly to the size best allows your body to properly handle all the other parts of the changes' Jirachi explained thinking back.  'Trust me having a transformation, especially a dragon based one sped through and not properly spaced out results in more of a mess then the being they truly wish to be which I always want to help them achieve.'

Iris then looked down feeling her body start shaking again she smiled wide.  "Okay fine piece by piece, so here comes that next step then!" She excitedly gripped her hands looking down.  "Let's see those majestic super impenetrable dragon scales..." she then felt her bust dramatically expand out, growing out at least a dozen sizes even compared to her still new massive frame.  "Those... aren't scales" she realized feeling a similar jiggling and growth in her rear, her posture pushing out some to showcase how wide her butt and hips had expanded compared to her still somewhat slender in comparison waist.  "Neither is that" she said gently poking her rather thick gluteus maximus, watching it jiggle some.

"Emola Emola Emola!"  The Electric squirrel squeaked out cheerfully.

Iris looked a bit confused.  "Wait, HOW do I remind you of your mom?"

"Emola emol, emol emol, emola!"

"Ohhh... guess I'm flattered, though I never though your evolution line would have such... features" Her gaze once again went over to Jirachi.  "Thinking about it why do I?  The wish was to be the strongest Dragon Queen Protector!"

'And as Queen you will rule with as much beauty as you will power' Jirachi pointed out.  'I figured you'd want your subjects to adore you as much as your enemies to fear you.'

This actually made the giant girl blush some.  "That actually does sound pretty good" she whispered as she then suddenly cried out, the other Pokémon looking in shock as Iris lurched forward her face turning to the ground as a tingling started vibrating along her spine.   The sensations circling around her back started pulsing a dark red energy as Iris breathed in deeply, a sense of peace started to wash over her.  "This... feels even better" she muttered out between slight pleasurable moans as more energy gathered, the Pokémon seeing something physical start forming along her back.  It soon took shape first appearing as merely sharp triangles before gaining dimensions and feature, a layer of thick bone and skin jutted out, expanding past her hands several yards on each side looking rather sharp yet majestically powerful.  The Dragon Champion closed her eyes focusing as the shapes continued glowing now appearing an almost perfect crimson color as she beat the shapes over and over, letting them flap beneath her a few times before finally opening them fully, letting the sun fully hit her majestic new wings.

'See that's why you needed to grow fully first' Jirachi explained starring up at her as Iris opened her eyes, her retinas going wide as possible instantly admiring the newest addition to her body. 'By expanding to proper size the addition of the wings I could make as painless as possible and-'

"AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"  Iris squealed happily spinning around in a mad circle as she let out a hearty chuckle reaching behind and feeling her new appendages, twirling in delight.  "I haveeeeeeeeee wingsssssssssss, I have wingsssssssssssssssss!"  She happily bellowed, in absolute ecstasy in this moment as she gasped looking up at the sky.  "Oh man I have to test these babies ASAP!"

'You know you really should wait until you're in your full dragon form' Jirachi commented Iris looking over giving him a pouty frown as the little legendary sighed.  'But this is your wish and I do wish for you to enjoy it as much as possible-'

"Alright!"  She said jumping into the air as she concentrated flapping several times as she was able to hover over the ground, squeeing once again even though every powerful flap was knocking back members of her own dragon team.  "Check me out guys check me out!"  She said noticing she had blown the others away as she gasped quickly landing back on the ground.  "Uh sorry" she said rubbing the back of her head embarrassed.  "First time flyer here."

"Grrrr" Haxorus stated him along with the others flying back so they were right below their trainer.

"Heh guess you've been there too" she then focused a bit more gently flying up angling her wings away from her team as she soon moved past the tops of the trees and soared higher up twirling and darting in the sky feeling the air around her.  "Hmmm this is amazing!"  She said cheering some as she flew around.  "I mean I thought being on Dragonite's back was awesome but getting to fly on my own?  THAT is freedom!"  She said twirling and rotating in midair, doing a full flip as she soon started flying upside down in a circle.  "I could just stay up here forever, feeling the warm currents in my wings."  She smiled imagining the creatures below the tree lines.  "Knowing my subjects are there waiting for my commands-"

'Technically they aren't your subjects yet as the transformation still needs to finish' Jirachi pointed out in Iris's head.  'Because though you are going through the steps of the transformations, right now you are still human.  Specifically a large naked human with wings who may be viewable to anyone looking up at the sky.'

This cause Iris's cheeks to flush once again as she quickly flew down to Jirachi and her Pokémon looking a bit embarrassed.  "Fine I'll enjoy flight more probably when I shed my pathetic human limitations" she commented looking around.  "So when's that next transformation part happen then anyway?"

'Well this part is one you wouldn't really see, but you would certainly feel' Jirachi noted as sure enough Iris felt a tingling in her mouth as she felt her jaws opening as wide as they could possibly go.  She felt a noticeable but not painful tingle in each single one of her teeth as the white human molars (with a distinct mark of yellow you normally wouldn't see in a cartoon character but would make sense for a trainer who likely wouldn't have time to go to more regular dentist appointments to get them cleaned) retracted out of her mouth, each one being replaced by a sharp dragon fang as the shape and curvature of the jaw was altered to properly showcase the titanic chompers.

"Roooh rooooh, rive reel rew reeth!"  Iris exclaimed feeling a tingling in her lounge as well which twisted around becoming whisper and more reptilian as it slithered around her mouth as she rolled it some.  "Hmmm hmmmm aaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbb ccccccccccc" she said flicking it around some in the air and feeling the new sensations coursing around her mouth, showing a row of sharp smiling fangs.  "Ah yeah now I'm feeling it, ooh and speaking normally again!"  Iris blinked some.  "Well guess when I'm dragon queen I'll be speaking more Pokémon language then you know human language but I already understand that well enough and sure my subjects will easily understand me too."

"Gible gible!"  Gible said excitedly pointing over to his own fangs.

"Oh yeah, we do match a lot better bud! Another plus!" Iris said pointing at her own fangs, Gible mimicking the action as the two laughed some together.  "You know it is nice really getting the feel of each of these pieces one at a time Jir, so you know thanks for spacing it out.  Hope I'm not keeping you from your legendary epic nap too long or something.

'Oh don't worry;  helping grant the wish properly is worth staying up a few more minutes ' Jirachi assured her as Iris looked at her hands as they started to tingle as well as her feet.  She held out her right hand inspecting it closely as each of the fingers pulsated, throbbing (though not in a painful way) and bloating a bit as observed them grow more muscle and strength.  She also saw her index and middle finger merge, the other three fingers of her hand adjusting so each digit was the exact same size.  The digits besides just expanding also quickly twisted away layers of softer flesh, a harder denser material covering them.

"Woah, cool!"  Iris said mesmerized and not in pain as she saw the fingernails on the four fingers grow far past then they had ever been (even the times she had gone months without proper standard grooming), seeing the nails harden, now a fiery red color, each extending a few inches past the fingers as she flicked them.  "They feel as hard as diamonds" she squealed excited showing off her fangs again, noticing the left hand mirrored what the right had gone through.  She then looked down seeing her bare feet twist and move around, seeing four rather large talon claws now on each foot as she dug her nails into the dirt below her.  "And feel really right standing on the ground" she then turned to her Pokémon, in a more excited frenzy then they had normally seen her.  "I can't believe I've been missing this feeling for ages!"  She roared giving a cackle pointing at the group she dubbed the Thunder Flight.  "Hey think you guys can do me a favor and throw me one of those rocks over there?" She pointed her thumb over a group of rocks past the area the transformation was taken place.  "I want to test how powerful these babies are" she said showing off her claws (that were still attached to human arms albeit giant ones) her eyes sparkling somehow even more then the newly crafted claws were.

"Rah rah rahhhh?" Dragonite asked, concerned.

"Pffft how dangerous would some little pebbles be for the mighty Dragon Queen?" Iris asked pointing at herself.  "Come on just a little taste to show what I'm working with now."

"Hax hax" Haxorus obeyed eagerly, quickly jumping over and tossing some of the medium sized rocks.  Iris focused squinting her eyes as she held out her now sharp claws and gave her best take on a roar, slicing through one of the rocks with one powerful slash while leaving cutting off a piece of another as it fell past her, sliding into the dirt below.

"Yeah, yeah THAT'S what I'm talking about!"  Iris said pumped flexing her new digits proudly crumping them into a fist.  "A bit more transformation and I'll have the strength to mow down a whole quarry, you know like an evil quarry or something."

"Hax hax orus" Haxorus said with a chuckle reflecting back on his own memories.

"Yeah I remember back when you first evolved and could cut through steel too bud" Iris said smiling some at him.  "So thanks for helping out with MY evolution" she then focused back on Jirachi.  "Speaking of, what's the next part of that?"

'Your body molding to the previous changes'  The legendary pointed out, Iris instinctively looking down now, her arms and legs starting to shake some.  The Giantess felt the joints in her skeletal structure harden, the ligaments starting to slightly curve as she felt her posture alter, to a different degree then when her feminine curves had massively ballooned.  A glistening but still "slim" level of muscle formed along the joints, allowing Iris to more naturally nudge herself forward, relying only on her feet claws for balance.  'It is only when your body and spirit are Intune with each new alteration that the next can be added, and each piece is added in a specific order.'

The transformation having stopped for now, Iris slowly extended her outmost left dragon nail to lightly still tap her right arm, noticing the jiggling flesh she was feeling.  "So are the scales going to appear now then or are we saving the best for last?" She asked breathing in some.  "Cause I'd rather get those sooner than later."

"Emolga ga ga?" The electric type asked.

Iris sighed looking away.  "Let's just say the sooner I have my best dragon protection, the better" she said quickly recalling the beating she took, Dragonite going over and hugging her side, causing the giant champion to chuckle some.  "Heh well guess there's some small advantages to weaker flesh though sure even with scales your hugs will feel great pal" she noted gently trying to hug around him with her giant arms.

"Gibble gibble!"  The large mouth Pokémon exclaimed seeing Iris's backside start to unconditionally jiggle more than it had before.

"Wait WHAT'S going on back there?" Iris asked now feeling the effects of the next part of the transformation herself.  What started out as a small little nub that had sprouted right below her posterior started wiggling as the still somewhat human could feel it expanding out further, the tip now having passed her bottom entirely.  Iris noticed that the empennage had started out twirling and circling with a spritely flourish, as the sort of appendage one would see at the end of an Aipom.  As it grew thought it not only gained more weight and mass but also sharper spikes, fattening up and ending in a sharp deadly blade.  The dark crimson of the wing color soon painted this addition as well as the tail stopped its growth, its end falling right below the ground as it quickly adjusted to the center of gravity Iris's current dragon form had lent itself too.

'As Dragon Queen, it would only make sense you have the best particular assets of all aspects of your type’ Jirachi commented, Iris narrowing her eyes as she focused on her newly formed tail. 'And though there are obviously many beloved dragons without a tail, or some like Dragonair who are more tail than anything else, it would only be logical you would want one as part of your-'

"HA HA!"  Iris cheered as the tail rapidly moved back and forth as she watched it cut through grass and kick up dirt as that only made her increase the movement of the appendage.  "I have a tail now, and the coolest tail of tails there is!"  She looked to see some members of her Thunder Flight give indications of jealous/sour look as she sighed come.  "Come on you guys know I think you're all great.  Even if I'm going to be Queen you're all going to be equally awesome uh... princes of the land?  How does that work?"

'Considering YOU are going to Queen, however mating and courting rituals will proceed is dependent on YOUR ideology' Jirachi said simply.

"Wait did you say..." Iris blushed heavily once again shaking her head as her tail finally stopped wagging.  "Uh yeah I'm going to wait till I'm full dragon and maybe some months... years before that" she stated as suddenly she began heavily blinking some as she then felt swelling all around her face.  "Hmmm getting a feeling I won't really see this next part for myself" Iris realized as indeed the pupils of her eyes tinted to now a dark red, the retinas slanting to show how silted the pupils had become.  She then instinctively closed her eyes before opening them, now realizing the expanse of her vision had changed not only able to see far further then she had before, but in a wider density of colors and even areas caked in darkness hidden in the shadows now appearing as plain as day to her.  "Wow, dragons really DO have everything better" she commented looking around.  "You guys never told me how weak even my normal sight was before."

"Ruh rah rah ruh ah" Dragonite said defensively.

"Yeah I know you guys wouldn't bag on me for it just saying practically dragons have so much better sight" she said as more tingling’s circled around her body.  She then felt the slightly wrinkled cartilage around her ears toughen, the smaller rounded lobes becoming much more sharp and jagged, sticking out like heavier and spiker takes of elf ears as they jutted from the sides of her head.  As with her eyes Iris felt the slightest bit of disconnect before she felt re-plugged back in, this time being able to pick up the slightest buzzes and breaths and even the wind bristling around she couldn't before.  She could literally hear what felt like an entire mile all around her in the highest definition one would normally have to pay thousands for now in clarity not possible to what had been her species.

'I also don't want to come down heavily on the expectations of humanity Iris since the form you are being grafted has senses that go beyond most typical Pokémon as you are being given the senses of legends of my level, ones that go beyond even what the rest of your team can experience'  Jirachi pointed out.

Still delighting in the senses iris did pause a moment before nodding her head.  "Fair enough, not like anyone in Thunder Flight was able to literally hear and see a leaf fall down a tree from several forest away, though hey once I am Queen, could I let my uh.. Court I guess is the right word for it has that?"

'That is technically another wish then the ones you have been given but for what you have done for me and considering how selfless the other wishes were, I have no issue giving you that sort of power for your companions after your transformation, so long as you don't try and tell some of the other legendries about this’ Jirachi admitted.

"Why, Arceus not like it when there's wish loopholes?"

'No just again, there are some of us due to bad experiences who have not good experiences with humans, no offense.'

"Well as a former human I can totally get where that offense comes from" Iris then fell as swelling and sprinkling around her nose as it began to also glow and change.  The Nostrils flared out becoming more of a spiky beak with a rather large red horn at the ending of it, sharp steel now sticking out in the form of what appeared to be a mix of red and black looking drill with a few sensor spikes sticking out from it.  Once they had formed, Iris inhaled the spikes now allowing her to sense an incredible amount of differing odors on levels she didn't think possible, her new nozzle practically tingling with giddiness at the sensations that were now filling it.  "Hmmmmmm man I think the nose is at an even higher level than the others!"  She said impressively as she breathed in once again letting more senses fill her.  "I can smell more than I can see or even hear.  From the trees and the brooks and even the sense of gasoline and..."  Iris gasped picking up a particular sense as she narrowed her eyes, a look of annoyance and frustration filling her for the first time since her tastes had been expanded as she looked back at Jirachi.  "Okay I don't want to rush you since yeah doing each part is important and all but the sooner I finish the more I can deliver a proper righteous wrath on a certain someone" she said crumpling the four digits of her right claw.  "And I don't want HIM getting away any longer then he should."

'Don't worry the transformation won't be much longer'    Jirachi pointed out as the wild unkempt lock of Iris's human hair (which didn't even look that off despite her being giant and mostly dragonish now already) shuttered, now spreading even wilder being mark dark red though still with purple, having a feeling far more of layers of fur as they piled in back of her, blowing in the hair dramatically before finishing.  'In fact, there is really only one specific facet of the transformation that needs to actually be completed which I'm sure you might agree is saving the 'best' for last.'

"Wait you mean..." Iris gasped feeling her skin tingling around her entire body as she squealed excitedly trying to hold still and let the feeling overtake her.  "Okay come on then scales, new awesome dragon scales!  Let's loose this paltry flesh and get something better!"  And sure enough the brown indefinable layer of skin the only thing that now even marked Iris having been human in any way previously had disappeared, collapsing off of her body as if it had been simply dried off.  The giantess didn't seem in pain though, and in fact felt sense of relief and even warmth feeling the powerful layer of scales that covered every orifice of her new body.  And beyond that layering were precious glittering jewels of the earth, as if the gold and silver of entire countries and regions now plated this one being.  What felt like a dark crimson and red layer of multiple beyond even as strong as steel plating covered her multiple times, making the extended claws, wings and tail shine even brighter, glowing and radiating to the awe of the Pokémon that were under their trainer,  Iris opened her jaws roaring out showcasing her sharp fangs and spreading out her legs as much as possible, the layers of scales fully hardening to the utmost toughest they could before giving off one last sheen, a bright shimmer blinding even the five trained Pokémon (Jirachi being able to see without question) as they had to close their eyes for a second.

"Molga Mol?" Emolga asked having to even hide a bit behind Haxorous; all five feeling the shine eventually fade as they looked up in total shock at the sight before them.

Indeed despite having witnessed every step, seen every nook, been told of each change and alteration, the finished picture of the gigantic dragoness lady before them had taken their breath away.  If they hadn't seen the humongous wings, witnessed the massive bosoms, observed the tail and partaken in the scales, not to mention still felt the heart and spirit of their treasured team mate they along with everyone else never would have pieced together the gigantic massive Draconic Lady had once been one of the top Trainers of Unova, and the World.  For between the fierce eyes, incredibly strong claws and powerful pose, what they saw in front of them felt so much more then what any human, what even most Pokémon in simply existing had thought possible.  The only thing that clung and acted like it could cover this majestic legend were layers of what appeared to be diamonds and pearls (and even then not covering her nipples or vagina for such a bold majestic form should be experienced and not censored in any way possible even by the most lovely of nature's beauty) layers of ringed jewelry around a couple of claws and her tail.  With the most lovely and awe inspiring queenly crown adoring the top of her dome, sparkling like a rainbow of Flash attacks one could experience without being blinded.  Even in its presence it exuded majesty, a power a dynamic that even in just a few seconds had changed the power and scaling of those on this very planet.  What was Iris launched a powerful majestic roar, letting any within earshot, within sensor range aware of the new legendary beast that had now entered the earth ecosystem, and gave just a taste of what it could do...

Though after the roar the Dragon did give a hearty laugh and powerful cheer making it clear of who it still was on the inside.  "Man, being a true dragon feels even better than I could have EVER imagined" she said spinning around and beating her wings feeling the rush in them even more then she had before now having fully physically transformed.  "Seriously I thought swinging was the coolest way of getting around?" She then flapped a few times now hovering several feet in the air chuckling some.  "I can already tell flying is going to be like hundreds of times that, easy."

"Emolga emolga" Emolga agreed giving a cheeky smile to Excadrill and Gible who muttered annoyed.

"Oh don't worry guys I'll let you also enjoy the feeling of awesome flight soon enough" Iris then whistled some instructing the five Pokémon to fly on her back which she did as she narrowed her eyes.  "First things first I have an awesome fight I need to get to, even if it's going to be massively one sided" she said quickly stretching her wings and taking off rocketing through the air as Jirachi floated behind her, an inquisitive yet knowing look on his face at what was going to happen.

Several Miles away, this time on the other edge of the Giant Chasm Bristol's truck could be seen chugging along, the trainer still focused intently and seriously on his mission not really allowing any other thoughts to clutter his mind.  However all of his thoughts were quickly interrupted seeing a massive series of flames set not only the road around him but his entire truck on fire with one breath as he screamed horrified at the explosion he was now caught in.

"AH!"  He screamed out, being blasted out his vehicle with thankfully for him only a few minor burn scars as he tumbled away, managing to stand up and look in shock at the few slabs of burning wreckage and metal his vehicle had once been in.

"NOT SURE NOW MUCH YOU CARE, BUT I MADE SURE TO EMPTY THE CARGO OF ALL YOUR STOLEN POKEMON BEFORE THAT DISPLAY" Roared out a voice, Bristol looking up in shock to see a massive figure land right in front of him, grinning eagerly up at him.

"What the... what the hell are YOU?" Bristol asked, using his Tech Glasses to try and identity the giant Draconic Beast in front of him that Bristol's tech quickly shot back having NO patches on any of the known Pokdexes around.

"Here's a hint" The Figure, obviously the transformed Iris said, lowering her face down as she observed them with her heightened senses as she narrowed her reptilian eyes at the Unova Hunter.  "You tried to snuff out my fire Bristol, an action us dragons take very, VERY offensive."

The man tried looking up calmly and rationally, trying to empty out any feelings of fear or shock at the beast glaring down at him trying to shoot a nasty glare up at her.  "Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?"

"Oh believe me I do" Iris said sounding thoroughly disgusted.  "Dragons have the innate ability to sense the actions of one's heart and spirit to level most others can't.  So I know others who tried stopping your nasty unfair capturing and criminal ways got snuffed out like you tried doing to me, when you tried extinguishing my flame before it could grow into the majestic ember you see before you."

"Majestic emb..." Bristol thought for a moment taking a step back in shock.  "Wait wait the... dragon champion girl? The...."

"The one you TRIED killing? Yeah that WAS me" Iris held out her hands giving a similar pose she had before but now having actual claws and fangs to show.  "But I've evolved now to my true form.  My Legendary Queen Form, who has promises to eliminate anyone who commits such heinous crimes in their kingdom."

The hunter rolled his eyes.  "Okay just because I forgot to double tap last time doesn't mean I'm going to play along with this Dragon Queen, which Unova doesn't even have that sort of monarchy you idiotic loon, at all."

"This isn't an act Bristol.  This is about justice."

"No this is about blowing your half-baked psychic illusion" Bristol said taking out his two Pokeballs as he summoned Klinklang and Aggron once more.  "Klinklang Lock On wherever this bitch actually is and then Discharge this eyesore in front of me."

"Wow bad enough you're a horrid jerk who unfairly takes Pokémon, but you have NO taste as well?" Iris said not even caring that Klinklang was scanning her body as her rage at Bristol only glowed wider.  "Humans may be limited in what they can experience but even someone like you should be in awe of what I've become."

"Yeah I'm broken apart wannabe illusions before girl" Bristol said.

"Klink klink" Klinklang said to its trainer.

"What the hell do you mean that's NOT an illusion?" Bristol said still trying to sound angrier then worried pointing over at Iris.  "That's not anything actually real."

"Oh I'm the REAL deal alright" Iris said, a small smirk appearing the more she was able to smell Bristol's confusion and fear at what had dropped in front of him.

"Shut up!"  Bristol pointed over at his other Pokémon.  "Aggron, Metal Claw this fake so we can an idea what the actual threat this girl is trying to craft is."

"Agg" Aggron launched forward at high speeds at its opponent... for all of about two seconds before without batting an eye, Iris swung one giant claw at near impossible to calculate speeds right at the top of the Iron Armor's Pokémon’s Head, knocking it out before it had a chance to even contemplate what was happening.  "Agggggggggg...." Aggron said quickly hitting the ground below.

"You may be a jerk, but your worst actions were always the orders of the REAL monster here" Iris said of the knocked out Steel Type.

The now shaking a bit Bristol tried backing away pointing at his other Pokémon.  "Klinklang-"

Iris tapped the Gear Pokémon with her index left claw hard, knocking him out in one blow as she then grabbed Bristol with her right hand, squeezing him tightly.  "Still think I'm just an illusion Bristol?" She asked, bringing him to right in front of her face.

"I... I..." Bristol said in an actual panic, not having any defense at being in the clutches of this new Legendary Powerhouse.

"Don't worry, I don't expect you to beg or plead or even apologize for what you've done" Iris said tapping her own head.  "Again, dragons know what's in your heart so such concepts as mercy or concerns aren’t a part of you are.  And quite honestly, what is shouldn't belong really in ANY kingdom, but it certainly won't be a part of mine."  And with that Iris breathed a powerful flame thrower from her left nostril, incinerating the hunter in a second before he could even feel the pain, watching him simply become soot and cinder in her claw which she quickly waved, the ashes dissipating in the wind.

"Rah rah" Dragonite said, him and the others of Thunder Flight quickly peeking out of a tree and flying/jumping/walking down over to Iris.

"Look you know I wouldn't go so hardcore if I didn't feel it was warranted, but that was a rotten seed I couldn't let spread its ilk anymore" iris said flashing her team mate a grin.  "I mean you must have sensed him too right? Did you think he was worth anymore?"

"Rah...." Dragonite said, trying to bring up some sort of halfhearted defense of the hunter but not having anything.

"Grrarr grarr rarrrr" Haxorous said giving a hearty chuckle and smirking up over at Iris.

"Thanks bud but I get some members of Thunder Flight being less hardcore then others" Iris pointed at herself.  "But don't worry your Queen will always show her righteous spirit best she can, I promise."

'Though it will be in forms she will only fully understand soon'   Jirachi stated, the Giant Legendary and other five Pokémon now seeing it float down in front of him.

"Oh hey Jir" Iris said waving her claw.  "Thought you were going to take that nap once I finished my amazing and again super awesome thank you thank you so much for this transformation into my epic form."

'I will, once you fully transform’ Jirachi pointed out.

"Wait I thought I was fully transformed" Iris looked around.  "Is there like a legendary Dragon uh.... Alternate Form I don't have exactly?"

'You have no alternate form as physically you have reached your peak, but to be a true Legend and ruler of this region, you must be the dragon you are internally AND externally."

"Hey I've felt THIS dragon internally a lot longer than I've been her."

'But you still remember being human, as does the world remember you being human Iris.'  Jirachi got closer to her.  'To be the queen you were destined to be Iris you must forgoes those memories and experiences and be remembered for what you are now, and for what you will forever be.'

"Wait, forever ever or like lifetime ever?"

'Technically legendries CAN die but mortality of humans and regular Pokémon are above you as you can live for as long as you wish to.  And those as said before of your Thunder Flight.'

Iris thought for a second looking a bit sour for a second.  "But everyone else I know... or knew won't."

'All the more reason to separate from them, to be what you wished to be.'

Iris looked at her claw once again, tightening it as she felt the tingle of her claws, and wings and the air around her.  "I did wish that right? To not have those weaknesses of flesh of what I was and... Even if they were just thoughts now, they would still be there."

'I understand how important those are to you Iris, which is why I wanted you to have your victory against such a monster beforehand' Jirachi admitted.  'However such inklings of revenge on what you were-'

"Are things below a dragon queen... below me” Iris looked around at her team and at herself, smiling some.  "And not something I should that bad about since yeah I loved who I was, what I did, what I had made.  But this... this is evolving to a stronger level, beyond what I was.  And becoming something more for my home, OUR home.  And if that's what embracing being Dragon Queen well...” she then breathed in holding out her hands.  "Then that is that, plain and simple.  So... no point in delaying that anymore, right?"

Jirachi nodded giving a bit of a sad but still pleasant smile.  'Know though your human form was a true champion and righteous being worth so many on this planet.  But I truly believe what you are, what you can be will burn so much brighter-'

"Then burn me up already!"  Iris said stretching out her claws as Jirachi glowed, an energy around the Dragon Queen's body as within her mind scape, a song number started blaring around, the tingles of memory and previous existence changing as lyrics were soon heard penetrating the air.

"I know these skies above the horizon
Now new dreams call me by title"

Iris imagined a variation of her human self gazing up at her Dragon Form, the two trying to touch one another as images and experiences of her trainer life and journey start spilling around her.

"And suddenly, nothing feels the same
I know the path that must be chosen
But this is bigger than before"

Iris then imagines the battles she had before as a trainer now being altered to being as her draconic form against stronger opponents, her trained Pokémon of Thunder Flight being her princely companions as she imagines flying with them all along the skies of Unova.

"Winds have changed; tides turn me far away from shore
What waits for me?"

The human Iris then sees in horror images of Ash, Cilan,  even Team Rocket and the many differing trainers and gym leaders and people they had faced and those others she had in her life now drying up around her, those memories evaporating as the human girl cries out, the Dragon Form seeing this and looking away sadly.

"Forever far from that world
From everything
And everyone I've ever known"

She then feels thousands of differing new experiences and identities crash into her of her new Legendary life style of new battles and memories that hadn't existed before but now fill the memory bank of her and those within the world.

"What lies beyond
Under skies I've never seen?
Having to lose myself between
My story and what's unknown?"

The Dragon form grows stronger literally surfing on these memories engulfing in the new fire of the world she had created but even through that flame still seeing the small ember of her human still struggling with all that's being taken away.

"When I go beyond
Leaving so much love behind
With the future of our people still to find
Can I just go beyond?"

She then imagines Jirachi floating their it's elemental wish energy flowing into her peppering and breaking through these memories and identities as she gains more focus on what she has to fully become.

"There is destiny in motion
And it's only just begun
With this life I've worked at needing to come undone"

She then saw the other members of Thunder Flight.  The toughness of Excadrill.  The gruffness of Haxorus.  The playfulness of Emolga.  The joy of Gible and the empathy of Dragonite all starring over at as new wonderful experiences with all of them as this majestic dragon queen filled her mindscape causing a pure smile on her dragon self.

"They're calling me
I must reply"

A surge again of new memories of her experiences in Journeys of her fight to BE Champion of to prove herself on a stage above all she had thought of before shining still giving her inklings of that old life clinging onto her spirit.

"But when I leave
How could I ever say goodbye?"

The Dragon then looked forward now picturing the new kingdom new reality she would govern over, the other dragons she might clash with and rule over, and challenges that would get in the way trying to picture the new species and new beings she would have to content with as the new highest being of this region.

"What lies beyond
On this path of my new eternity?
Must I lose myself between
All that we know right here"

She then weighed all of what had come before her as her human identity seeing how little it truly impacted the new dragon one, losing more and more desire to cling to still small scrapings of what she was before even as that part still fought against the flames to be remembered.

"What's out there beyond?
Leaving so much love behind
With the future of our people still to find
I must go beyond!"

The dragoness then picked up the human representation of herself, holding it tightly and hugging it kissing it on the forehead but starring at it intently as it pointed to the fires beyond the mindscape to the changing world as the human Iris tears in her eyes held herself tightly fully realizing what is being asked of her.

"If I'm not here to hold her plans
Will she ever understand?"

The human Iris sniffled some, nodding as a soft crawl of a voice exited from her mouth, singing one last time as memories of her spirit were fully altered and transformed into the physical beast she represented."

"I thought I'd be right here
But you're meant for more
I can't where your story leads
But You chose who we are"

With one final wave the memory of who Iris was from the world vanished replaced as the mental scraped collapsed as in the real world the Dragon Queen Roared out singing in a majestic booming voice (translated into English for simply our benefit) as it continued the song.

"I'll go beyond
And although I don't know when
I will bring peace to these lands
Because that's who I am"

The Dragon Queen sliced its claws with majestic energy taking to the sky, the members of Thunder Flight singing around her as she posed Majestically to all in attendance of her presence.

"I Am Queen Ignella!
Of Unova's Lands and Seas
And I Promise That Is Who I'll Always Be."

She then raced forward her wings beating behind her as the others of Thunder Flight took off as well flashing bursts of flames in the sky in recognition of their Queen, Ignella having the happies grin you could ever imagine a legendary dragon queen type having as she finished her song.

"I must go, I will go, and then we'll know
What Exists Beyonddddddddddd!"

The others all cheered at Ignella taking off to make sure everyone understood to bow before their protector legendary dragon queen goddess for she could give everything she could for them, for what is who she was and what she would always be.

'Good luck to you Ignella I know you will do your land well'  Jirachi said with a smile waving one last time before he teleported to his nap, knowing when he was awoken next to grant a wish it would be in a world graced by the true legacy of this dragon queen goddess and what came of that world but that was perhaps a story for another time as for now this one has come to...

THE END!
