Finding Tilly

Chapter Text

Chapter 24:

Blitzø’s reaction and then kicking him out had broken the prince’s heart but he wasn’t about to blame the imp for feeling overwhelmed or not wanting to see Stolas in that moment.

But he couldn’t just sit around and do nothing while waiting for Blitzø to contact him, so he decided to talk to the person responsible for all this pain instead.

‘‘Chained to the wall on a cell?’’ The lizard b*tch had the audacity to joke. ‘‘A tad bit cliché, don’t you think?’’

‘‘You really think you’re in a position where you can make jokes, you scum?’’

‘‘What are you gonna do? Kill me?’’

‘‘That is certainly an option I’m considering.’’

‘‘I wouldn’t if I were you.’’

‘‘And why exactly is that?’’

‘‘I happened to have some information that is vital to your imp slut.’’

‘‘YOU DO NOT CALL HIM THAT!’’

He couldn’t help but let his eldritch voice come out. Striker somehow held up a straight face, which made him wanna punch it in.

And he was going to, but then his phone rang and the caller ID read Blitzy.

… Well, he hadn’t been expecting it this fast, but he wasn’t about to complain.

‘‘… You what?’’

‘‘I saw Tilly today.’’

‘‘… I’m sorry, you what?’’

‘‘I saw-’’

‘‘I heard that! F*CKING EXPLAIN IT!’’

‘‘So, I went to this meeting where there was a bunch of drug dealers so I could find a new supplier.’’

‘‘Oh, God.’’

‘‘But it turned out to be real shady, and I was gonna leave anyway, but then reapers raided the place.’’

‘‘… How’re you alive?’’

‘‘It turned out they weren’t real reapers.’’

‘‘Who would-’’

‘‘The kids she had with her! I don’t know how, but they could use magic. They pretended to be reapers with magic disguises!’’

‘‘… What?’’

‘‘And she recognized me by the circus tattoo, but then an older kid, he was a baphomet, came and sent her away-’’

‘‘HOW MUCH OLDER EXACTLY?’’

‘‘He looked twenty something.’’

‘‘Oh, my, Satan.’’

‘‘He wanted to kill me, but Tilly confirmed that I’m her aunt, so he instead threatened to kill me if I tell anyone about it and promised to make it slow before letting me go.’’

‘‘What did she-’’ He was about to ask, but Loona exited Blitzø’s room.

‘‘He wants a hot pocket and is okay with any kind that has cheese in it.’’

‘‘Got it, no problem, and what about you, Sweetie?’’

‘‘I’m fine with anything that isn’t a hot pocket.’’

‘‘Got it, hey, there’s got to be a place nearby that has those, why don’t you take my card,’’ He ignored the “you’re seriously giving her your card!?” face Barbie was making at him. ‘‘you can get yourself whatever you want too, and get us all something to drink. I’m not hungry myself but there’s gotta be a café somewhere around here, get me a cortado too, if that’s alright.’’

‘‘Sure.’’ She took the card. ‘‘By the way, Blitzø asked for his phone and then said he was gonna make a phone call and asked to be left alone.’’ She then walked away.

‘‘You’re really letting her do that?’’ Barbie shouted once she disappeared from sight. ‘‘This is why he got you back in his life, you idiot!’’

‘‘Shut up, Barb, you don’t know everything!’’

It had been little over an hour since he’d left the hospital and now Blitzø was calling him?

He was scared, but he gathered the courage needed to take that phone call, and got back upstairs before answering:

‘‘Blitzø?’’

‘‘Stolas.’’ His voice sounded so broken. ‘‘I’m sorry.’’

‘‘Blitzø, why are you apologizing?’’

‘‘You saved me and I was rude to you.’’

‘‘Are you crying?’’ Was he still hormonal from the miscarriage?

‘‘I just- I’ve been thinking about what happened, and I’m… I’m scared, Stolas.’’

Yep, still hormonal.

‘‘What? Why? Blitzø, I have-’’

‘‘I-I know you got Striker. Loonie told me.’’

‘‘Then why are you scared?’’

‘‘I just… I thought about some of the things he said.’’ *sob* ‘‘I think he knew.’’

‘‘What? How? You didn’t know.’’

‘‘I don’t know.’’

‘‘What makes you think he knows?’’

‘‘He talked about how he wanted to kill me, but he had this client that wanted him to hand me over to him instead.’’

‘‘… You think-’’

‘‘He said the client was willing to pay him a hundred thousand hellbucks. I’d wondered who the f*ck would pay that much for my sorry a**… but if he knew about it…’’

‘‘I’m going to kill that b*tch.’’ Stolas whispered, Blitzø probably hadn’t caught it.

‘‘And after I jumped off the window-’’

‘‘WAIT YOU JUMPED!?’’

‘‘Why are you yelling at me?’’ *muffled crying noises*

‘‘I’m sorry! I just thought you’d fell off, didn’t know you jumped, why did you jump?’’

‘‘I was trying to get away and he caught me and I was still tied, and that was the only way out… I didn’t know it was that high. I’m sorry.’’

‘‘Oh, Blitzø. It’s alright. It’s not your fault.’’

‘‘Thank you.’’ *sob* ‘‘After I fell he got mad.’’

‘‘…’’

‘‘He said that I’d… “damaged the goods”. He got mad and then you got there.’’

Stolas remembered the guy had been stomping on Blitzø when he’d arrived, too.

‘‘And before that he’d called me your broodmare along with some other insults, but I hadn’t cared because thought he was just making fun of me and us in general.’’

‘‘… Blitzø I need to take care of something first, but can I please come visit you?’’

There was a pause long enough for the owl to consider if the other had hung up before Blitzø talked again: ‘‘I’m just gonna eat and go back to sleep. I feel tired.’’

‘‘Oh, alright-’’

‘‘But I kinda wanna cuddle, too.’’

‘‘Would you like me to-’’

‘‘Fizz’ll just kick you out again though.’’

‘‘Yeah, how did you two go from mortal enemies to him caring about you like this?’’

‘‘… Stuff happened.’’

‘‘Okay. Well, how about you save the cuddling privileges for Loona tonight, she seemed concerned about you, and I can come visit tomorrow, and if you want, we can cuddle all day long.’’

*sniff**sob* ‘‘Okay.’’

‘‘Do you need anything from me?’’

‘‘… Just don’t let him get away.’’

‘‘No, never. He’s not leaving that cell alive.’’

‘‘And can you not kill him yet?’’

Wait, did that f*cking a** a** in- ‘‘He mentioned he had some information you needed when I told him he’s gonna die, was he telling the truth?’’

‘‘Yeah. I’m sorry-’’

‘‘Stop, apologizing, please.’’

‘‘Okay.’’ *sniff*

‘‘You should rest. We can talk later. I’ll be there tomorrow?’’ He asked for permission once again.

‘‘You promise?’’

‘‘Yeah, of course.’’ He knew it was probably the hormones but man, this version of Blitzø was pleasant.

F*cking sh*ta**! How can you say that! Stop it! The imp was so cute like this though. No! Stop it!

‘‘Call you in the morning?’’

‘‘Okay.’’

‘‘Goodnight, Blitzø.’’

‘‘Goodnight.’’

Stolas had one more thing to do before going to bed himself, though, and for that, he marched in to the living room where he found Stella.

She was sipping on a fruity looking drink with a straw of all things. She really wasn’t okay, was she?

‘‘Hey, Stella, I ran into that Striker fella of yours today, he was- Oh, my, Lucifer!’’ Sh-she was… ‘‘Are those pants you’re wearing?’’

‘‘Yes, and?’’

‘‘… I think you should see a doctor, but aside from that, your hitman tried to kill my -kind of- boyfriend today. You wouldn’t have anything to do with that, would you?’’

‘‘No, I cut him off after what happened.’’

‘‘Could it be-’’

‘‘Andre? Yeah, probably.’’

‘‘Okay.’’ He then walked back to head to the dungeon again.

‘‘Let me know how it goes!’’ She yelled.

‘‘I probably will not!’’ He shouted back.

He had to confirm with the assassin if it really was Andrealphus.

Then he could kill a peacock.
