Chapter Text
Venus wanted to be beautiful,
The kind that took breathes away
The kind you see in lullful paradise
More so than a pitiful single flower,
since those rot and wither away
He wanted beauty that could make one cower
Oh how he could be so corrupt
Venus knew it wasn't true,
What he hated most was his appearance in fact,
He was rotting sulfur hot and dead volcanic hell,
His clouds so thick they made him shine like a fake star,
There was probably more, but didn't bother to remember what they are
Venus was never beautiful,
Even before, with cool blue air and seas
Even with clouds that actually made him glow,
He had no flourishing creatures
Nor pathetic blossomed flowers
He was always a barren and dead world
Venus wondered if he could have beauty,
After he had corrupted his peaceful look,
After it rot and withered away for good
He did not burn vibrant enough to be a star
So he hid his pearly atmosphere like an earthling wears makeup
Venus wanted to be beautiful,
The kind that you find in fleeing hours of the sky
The kind you only see when you're known raw
More so when he is rotten and withered away
He wanted beauty that made one fall in awe
Oh how he could be so corrupt
