Work Text:
Gen was in trouble.
It was only a mistake, a misstep on his part. He just found himself forgetting to take his suppressants the day right before his heat started. A critical error, in hindsight, but who could blame him? It's been a while since he's had to keep track of suppressants, being stuck alongside Tsukasa in his first few weeks of being conscious again. Senku was a blessing, bestowing upon him the medicine he missed dearly (not without the cost of manual labor, but Dear Senku wasn't that benevolent).
He thought that he'd fall into his old routine easily enough, but he had…forgotten. He only noticed once that familiar dreaded heat beneath his skin came to life and almost knocked him off his feet. Naturally, he immediately went to find a place to..handle it alone. It was sporadic, yes, but he thought he had been subtle enough. He simply disappeared for a few days and came back so quickly, that no one would even know he left. It was a bit earlier than he would like but while his heat wasn't completely over, the worst of it was through. He could return to business as usual and no one was the wiser. Unfortunately, he seemed to have, again, forgotten a very important factor.
“So, where have you been?”
He almost, almost, jumps out of his skin at the familiar voice that creeps up behind him. Of course, right, a very important factor. Well, it's not that he needs to be the smart one. Hoping the lingering flush on his face wouldn't give him away immediately, he puts on his usual grin and turns to face the other.
“Dear Senku!”
Senku was staring at him, hands on his hips, patiently waiting for an answer to his question. Gen keeps up his smile, giving a slight laugh he hopes doesn't sound as nervous as he feels.
“Nowhere you need to worry about, really," He says dismissively, waving his hand whichever way before clasping his hands together, "Certainly not to Tsukasa if that's what you're planning on accusing me of. ”
Senku continues to stare at him before letting out a laugh of his own and crossing his arms.
“Ha! I'm about ten billion percent sure you wouldn't even think of doing that." A smirk spreads across the shorter man's face and Gen could feel himself break into a thin sweat.
That face, he didn't like it. Senku makes that exact face when he knows something and knows whoever he's looking at knows he knows too. Gen holds his breath as Senku tilts his head and adds, "Plus, it was only three days. It takes a good week to get to Tsukasa’s and back.”
Gen gives a nod, almost too rigid to seem natural, his innocent little smile beginning to strain. Pointing his gaze elsewhere, he hums out his little white lie.
“Mm, I was just out on a walk.”
“A three day walk." Senku deadpans. Gen nods again, his grin stretching wide as he claps his hands together again, and tilts his head like he is reminiscing.
“Yes, it was very scenic. Highly recommend it!"
He was sure he put a little too much enthusiasm in his voice, watching Senku's face screw up funny, but he can't take it back now. Senku continues to just stare at him, looking him up and down like he was trying to find something on Gen. However, Gen doesn't want to give Senku enough time to study him like he's under a microscope and begins to scurry off.
"Anyways, I suppose I have to be put back to work then. How unfortunate for me. Honestly, Dear Senku, how could you put poor little me to— ”
“Nah, no work for you."
Gen whips his head around so fast he gets dizzy, holding his head up as he stares at the other with wide eyes. He's sure his shock is plain to see, but Senku just gives him that same focused expression.
"Not like this, anyway."
Gen blinks, clears his throat and slowly fixes his composure. His voice still comes out shaky as he asks, "Whatever could you mean, Dear Senku?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
Gen blinks again, a few things running through his mind. Did Senku know? How did Senku know? Then he realized, duh, why wouldn't Senku know??? But, to excuse him from work, that was unexpected. There's no reason, and he can't believe he's justifying this, that he couldn't do any work. Rather than voice his questions, Gen simply tilts his head to the side and decides to play half dumb half genuine.
"I'm afraid I don't—ah!"
Suddenly, Senku is in front of him within a few long strides, grabbing him by the wrist and pulling him to meet in the middle. Gen's entire body shudders and then ignites. The immediate intense reaction shocks him. No one, besides himself, has touched him in the three days he was gone so maybe that's why his body reacted so strongly to the contact. Then, Senku leans into his neck and takes in a sharp inhale.
Gen's knees buckle and he almost falls into the other. He grips the other's shoulders to stay upright as his eyes fall half-lidded and his breathing becomes heavy.
"You still smell like heat, Gen."
The other has the nerve to say that against his neck, blowing hot air onto the already sensitive gland there. Gen presses his legs together on instinct, the warmth already starting to settle in his stomach. He does not ruin his clothes with slick again, thank you. He thought he was through his heat for the most part but Senku…this, was actively pulling forth. It's much less than the mind-numbing heat from days before but a similar sense of need bubbles up like a shaken bottle of cola.
"T-that's…" He tries to speak but chokes back a whine as Senku presses down on his wrist gland. He can feel the other pull that smirk against his neck.
"You think I couldn't tell?"
Well, yes, for a moment. It's not like he's ever noticed Senku paying hyper attention to the smell of everyone. He seemed to find scents a bother if anything, his nose the first scrunch up when overwhelmed with so many at once. Gen figures he wouldn't have even noticed the lingering heat, much less antagonize it. It shouldn't affect him in the slightest. He shouldn't be affecting Gen this much either. Not unless he was a…
Gen jerks his head away to get Senku out of his neck, staring wide-eyed at the shorter man. Senku gives him a confused look but catches on to his realization immediately and just laughs. He laughs like he just heard the funniest joke in the world and Gen would've smacked him if he wasn't the only thing keeping him from collapsing.
"You're an ALPHA?"
Gen says in disbelief, being met with an amused look from Senku.
"Is it that surprising?"
Well, the more he thought about it…
"I suppose…not especially." Gen sighs, slowly pushing himself off the other's shoulders. He's half sure he'd be able to stand on his own, though the heat certainly hasn't gone away. He gives Senku a look, raising one skeptical eyebrow.
"But, you don't seem interested in anything like…sex."
Senku gives a half-hearted shrug, his thumb circling Gen's wrist. The motion, surprisingly gentle, makes Gen melt just a bit with a much more breathy sigh.
"Mm, I'm really not."
"Then, what are you playing at, Dear Senku?"
Senku hums, looking Gen in the eyes and using his free hand to put up one finger.
"You still smell too much so it's distracting."
And a second finger.
"Just scent patches won't help the general exhaustion you're probably feeling."
And a third.
"You need the heat entirely out of your system to work effectively."
Senku's face contorted into that sleazy grin he got when he was thinking about progress at the price of other people's (particularly Gen's) physical labor.
"That way, your work output doesn't drop, eh?"
"Of course, that's your motivation." Gen mumbles out, rolling his eyes, "But, I don't know how you'd plan to even help besides…"
Gen trails off, sure that he doesn't need to fill in the blank. Red eyes stare back at him, unwavering amidst Gen's obvious implications. Suddenly his face flushes ten times brighter.
"Y-you weren't actually going to suggest—?!"
"Climaxing would get it out of your system quicker," Senku states so matter-of-factly that Gen can't help laughing.
"What do you think I was doing on my little nature walk?"
He says with tired amusement. Senku is still just staring at him like he's completely serious. He wasn't, right?
"It'll go faster with help."
Gen lets out a laugh, this time in disbelief. Senku wasn't genuinely offering what he thought he was, right?
"Well, surely you don't plan on actually…"
"Copulating?"
Copulating. Gen could burst out into giggles right now.
"Not really," The other continues, picking at the inside of his ear, "The one thing we don't have is contraception so that would be ten billion percent impractical."
"Right, right." So not exactly that. But something like that, surely?
"Then how do you plan on 'relieving me', Dear Senku?"
How was this working?
Maybe it's just because Gen is so sensitive right now, but Senku's hands felt like heaven. Having hands on him was something his body suddenly craved like breath itself, Senku's callous hands dragging across his chest and leaving goosebumps in their wake. He whimpers and whines, hips easily shifting up for Senku when tugging off his pants.
Gen sighs in relief as his bottom half is allowed to breathe and he's saved the trouble of ruined clothing. He's already hard and wet and burning and, thankfully, Senku wastes no time moving his hands further down. One hand curls around his leaking prick while the other slides to his inner thigh, swiping up the slick and pushing it right back to where it came from. He runs fingers along the slit, brushing over the entrance before pushing in not one but two fingers at once and—
"Oh!"
Gen's body jolts as Senku curls his fingers in a 'come hither' motion and immediately brushes against that damn spot. Already shaking, Gen reaches between his legs to grab the other's wrist.
"S-senku, wh—wait.."
Senku pauses and looks up at Gen, knocked out of whatever concentration he was in, "Not used to both at once?"
"Nono, It's n—mmh, it's not that." Gen shakes his head, brushing his hair from his face, "Just give me a mmmm—a m-minute to breathe."
He tries not to wiggle around so much as he lets his body adjust to the sudden simulation, every little shift lighting up a nerve in his body. He hears Senku huff out a laugh and he shoots a glare at him.
"I haven't even started yet, mentalist."
Gen blushes further from embarrassment rather than the heat beneath his skin, turning his head to the side and covering his face.
"Shut it," He hisses out, half tempted to kick the other. Instead, he takes a deep breath before peeking between his fingers to meet those red eyes. With a nod, he mumbles out, "N-now, move."
Senku nods back, dragging his hand up while sliding his fingers out. Slowly, he starts pumping both at once, gradually speeding up once he catches onto the rhythm. Gen covers his face again, unable to hold back his embarrassing moans and whines. Senku's response to every noise is to move faster. And every time Senku hits that spot in him, Gen's entire body lights up and he cries out, and Senku pumps even faster.
"Good?"
The other has the nerve to ask and Gen wishes he could give some snarky remarks back but all he could manage to get out is:
"Ah—ah, Senku!"
"Yeah?"
Gen uncovers his face just to glare at the other again, Senku meeting his glare with a half-smug look. Now he was really debating on kicking him but then the menace hooks his fingers again and Gen's hips buck up while he chokes on a moan.
"How—fuck," Senku twists his hand and Gen bites back another noise, set on getting his words out, "How are you ssso—hhh, good at this?"
"Simple anatomy."
Gen would roll his eyes if they weren't already rolling back into his skull. Senku's hands speed up as he keeps talking,
"I am a scientist, I'm not clueless," Senku adds steady pressure with his fingers while his thumb circles the tip, his hands now starting to slow as he just keeps talking, "Besides, you're already hypersensitive anyway from the past three days so it's already gonna feel like a lot, you—"
Gen catches the other's hair and hooks an arm around his shoulder, pulling him in. Face to face, Gen watches as those red eyes widen at the pure need that leaks out when he calls out.
"Senku."
God, he feels like he's on fire. He's so near the edge and he doesn't need his necessary relief to be interpreted by nerd rambles.
"Shut up."
He grinds his hips up, down, anything to return the stimulation so he can just come already and get this over with. He would think Senku would be the one rushing but no. He can't even read Senku right now, he can't how he feels about doing this. If he's affected by this, if his secondary instincts are going as bonkers as Gen's were. He pulls Senku down further, tucking his face into his neck and breathing in the smell of fresh spring water, his body burning for something.
"Just—keep moving…"
He whispers, lightly tugging at the other's hair. He can't tell if it's just him shaking or if Senku shudders as he nudges his neck, but those hands start moving with renewed purpose and Gen is finally gone. All he can do is let himself feel and be pulled towards the edge until, finally, he falls over. His body seizes up, his breath catches, and suddenly all the tension in his body dissipates at once and he sinks onto the floor below with a long content sigh.
He barely notices as Senku's hands are eased off and out of him and replaced by wet cloth wiping down his sweat-coated skin. He rolls his head to the side, looking at the other through heavy eyes as he cleans him up. Gen notes the light flush of his face, tempted to reach out and touch his cheeks.
"Satisfied?"
Senku says, not meeting Gen's eyes. Gen watches his face. His expression is a mix of relaxed, focused, and surprisingly embarrassed. Gen gives him a nod in response, catching Senku's hand as it brushes past. Gen feels goosebumps rise beneath his palms. Senku stares at him and Gen swears his face gets even redder. Despite the rasp in his voice, he's able to ask,
"Are you?"
Senku doesn't answer him, awkwardly slipping his hand out of Gen's and standing up. Clearing his throat with a fake cough, he throws a small blanket over Gen's waist and makes his way toward the exit. Gen can't help the amusement on his face at Senku's sudden shyness but politely doesn't comment. Before he leaves, Senku turns his head and gives him a few words.
"You stay here and recover. Get rest."
Gen hums, drawing the blanket up closer and curling underneath it. Once the other leaves, Gen gets comfortable and falls asleep to the scent of freshwater and dreams of cola.
